steve who gets into bar fights all the time because guys always try to hit on you. first it starts with him intimidating them 'the fuck did you say to my girl?' or 'don't fucking speak to her ever again.' usually this works and the guy backs off but sometimes, steve gets really rude and purposefully pisses them off so they fight him. and when he does that he always manages to get some punches in but he also gets beat up pretty badly. each time you tell him that he doesn't need to fight them, but he never listens, leaving with a black eye whenever a creep is on your side, and you rush him home to relieve his pain and put some ice on wherever he hurt that day. and steve loves it, he loves when you sit on his lap, worried about him as you gently try to take care of him, you wince each time you put the frozen peas on his bumps, afraid of hurting him. you tell him not to do this ever again in a serious tone, but you are so cute that all he thinks about is how fucking lucky he is to have you and how much he loves you. he nods and you know he will never listen but you can't help but adore the way how overprotective steve is over you, but you hate seeing him hurt. so you give his scars a kiss everyday until they eventually heal and steve is ready to fight more and have you taking care of him <3
