Awkwardness Aside I Care About You
Tumblr media
Request from @loxleys-blog I’m thinking about either being joey’s sister or a relative one of the other friends and growing up and falling for chandler and chandler not realising me until I moved down the hall/in with monica.
Entering Monica’s apartment I flopped down on the long couch throwing my hair across it. I had been tired from work all day trying to come up with a new book idea. I had dropped out of college to become an author while my sisters Phoebe and Ursula decided to find work with only a high school degree. The apartment door opened and closed. “Did Monica band you from the couch so now you’re letting nobody else use it?”
“No Chandler. It’s just my job…it’s been stressful these past few weeks.” Covering my face with my hands I huffed under my breath.
Chandler rounds the couch sitting down when I rolled over making room for him. “Stressful how?”
“I have been wracking my brain about what my next book should be but I’ve got nothing. It’s like I am stuck in this place where I have no inspiration even though I love writing.” I sat upright against the back of the couch with my hands in my lap.
He sent me a smile draping his arm over the couch. “Well then I could help you with getting inspiration.”
“Oh really how so?” I chuckled, curious to see what he had in mind.
Chandler got to his feet standing in front of me climbing up on the table in the center of the apartment. “Picture these two guys watching tv until ... .a dinosaur breaks into the apartment. He tears through the tv and the guys try to fight him off like ah!”
“Chandler!” I gasped when he did a high kick in the air falling off the table and knocked all the stuff off the table.
The apartment door opened and Monica gasped rushing over to him. “What is wrong with you? I just got all the magazines organized.”
“Sorry Monica. I was trying to give Y/n ideas and then fell.” He admitted getting to his feet flopping down by my side.
The door swung opened revealing Rachel and Phoebe who were both excited about something. Turning around on the couch I laid my arms across the couch tilting my head. “Hey guys, what’s going on?”
“I need to go out for drinks tonight.” Rachel huffed sitting down at the kitchen table.
Nodding my head that was that conversation. The four of us girls ended up going out of the apartment building and to the bar where they sold some not so expensive wine. Taking a long drink Phebe started up a conversation I wish she hadn't. “So I know that Rachel doesn't want to talk about her love life but do you have anyone in mind?”
“Oh I don’t think so.” I shake my head no.
Monica had finished half her drink. “You're avoiding the question why?”
“I am not!” I snapped avoiding their gazes on purpose this time.
Rachel tilted her head figuring it out before they did. “I get it now. You do like somebody you just won't fess up to it. Is it somebody we know?”
“Maybe.”
“Does he live in our building?” She pressed on.
I grabbed the bottle of wine and started to finish the rest off by myself until Phoebe took it from my hands. “Phoebe! Okay fine, yes I like somebody but it would totally ruin our friendship if he ever found out.”
“Is it Joey?’ Monica leaned forward with curiosity.
Rachel and Phoebe stared at me when I shook my head no in response. I swore that my blonde friend was about to jump over the table and tackle me in a huge hug over this. “Oh my gosh it's Chandler. It has to be Chandler!”
“Okay, okay. Yes mystery solved. But news flash is never going to happen between us.” Throwing my hands up in the air I wished it could happen but I knew in my heart we would probably never get together. He has to only see me as a friend. “So let's just forget about it.”
Rachel got an idea in her mind. “If you're so afraid then let's do it as a dare that you would never back down from.”
“If you’re daring me to do anything I'll need more wine.” I said snatching the bottle back across the table. The next morning had come where I didn't feel like getting up from Monica’s couch since I had passed out in her apartment. Phebe fell asleep in her corner chair with Rachel and Monica in their bedrooms.
The apartment door got kicked open causing me and Phebe to jump awake seeing Joey stammering around. “Y/n, how could you not tell Chandler the truth?”
“Hub, what are you talking about?” Rubbing the sleep from my eyes I was confused at what he meant.
Chandler came through the door leaning over the couch where we were so close to having our noses together. “Why did you leave me a drunk message on our answering machine?”
“Um…how would you feel if I said it was a dare?” I nervously asked him, remembering that I basically had declared that I had feelings for him.
Chandler steps backwards, throwing his hands up into his hair still stunned that he didn't see that I had feelings for him before he heard the message that morning. “We swallow our feelings, even if it means we're unhappy forever. Sound good?”
“Chandler, I….I don't think I can accept that if you feel the same way.” Getting to my feet I leaned my body against the back of the couch.
He blinked nervously, chuckling. “Why wouldn't I want to be with you. I mean I've always had feelings for you.”
“You have?” I questioned him covering my mouth with my hands.
Joey and Phoebe silently watched the interaction between their friends. Neither of them was sure what would happen next. Meaning they couldn't look away. Chandler stared at me silently walking up to me and cupping my face in his hands kissing me. “Ohhh he kissed her!”
I gasped not expecting him to do something like that. I was so afraid he wouldn't feel the same but it didn't matter now. “I guess I was worried for nothing. It isn’t awkward at all that they are watching us.” I chuckled, kissing him back until we needed air to breathe.
“It doesn’t matter if they're watching us. I'm just happy I didn't just embarrass myself in front of the girl I apparently have been crushing on my whole life.” He declared before I wrapped my arms around his neck shushing his concerns with a kiss.
Rachel opened her door the same time as Monica, seeing what was happening in front of them. “What did we miss here?” Chandler and I separated sending them each a bright smile of relief.
Comments really appreciated ❤️

[BESTIES IS COMING TO PATREON ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH @ 5PM EST] [ASK]
Words - 48K I Warnings - angst, mentions of ED, smut I A/N - this is essentially a reboot of Friends, but better imo. Here’s the character breakdown:
Macie = Monica (still a chef)
Adam = Ross (still a paleontologist)
Harry = Chandler (still works a job that no one really has any idea of what he actually does)
Niall = Joey (still an aspiring actor)
Penny = Phoebe (still a massage therapist)
Rachel = Rachel
When Rachel walks out on her fiance on the day of their engagement party, the only thing she can think to do is go to her old best friend, Macie, someone she hasn’t spoken to in years. Macie welcomes Rachel with open arms, and introduces her to her group of friends. Two of which Rachel already knows - Macie’s older brother Adam, and his old college roommate Harry.
Harry, and is current roommate Niall, live across the hall from Macie. Penny lives a few blocks away near Adam. Penny used to live with Macie. Since Macie has a spare room that’s not being used, Rachel moves in with her that same day.
Adam’s marriage with Jackie just ended, so he sees Rachel as this beam of light. He’s liked her since they were kids, why not go for it? As nice and sweet and handsome as Adam is, Rachel stays oblivious to his advances. Especially since she’s trying to start her life over. And especially since she has a secret shared past with the curly haired man across the hall.
April 23, 2022
It’s an ordinary Saturday morning. The gang is hanging out at their usual, local coffee shop. The majority of them live in the apartments upstairs, so it’s easy for them to frequent. The WiFi is fast and free, and the coffee isn’t terribly expensive. Plus, the muffins and pastries are made fresh daily.
Macie, Niall, Harry, Adam, and Penny are all sitting around. It’s a rainy day out. Penny is tuning her acoustic guitar, Niall is looking over his lines for an off broadway show he’s been cast in, Adam and Macie are looking at some pictures their mother texted to them earlier, and Harry is scrolling on his phone. Separate togetherness is their favorite pastime.
The front entrance of the coffee shop swings open suddenly. A young woman, drenched from the rain, walks in as she catches her breath, dropping two large luggage bags to the floor. This catches the attention of just about everyone in the place. The woman crosses the shop over to the counter.
“Excuse me, may I please have a cup of water?” The woman asks one of the workers behind the bar.
“Oh my god, Rachel?” Macie stands up with wide eyes.
“Macie!” Rachel shrieks with relief, and runs over to hug her. “Thank god, thank god.”
“Are you okay? You’re soaked. What are you doing here?” Macie asks as she grabs some napkins to try to dry Rachel off with.
“This is going to sound really creepy, but obviously we’re friends on insta, and you check in here all the time so I thought this would be the best place to find you. We haven’t talked in so long, I was scared to just DM you.”
“You’re really dressed up.” Macie looks Rachel up and down. She’s wearing a lovely, white jumpsuit.
“Um, yeah…did you see that I got engaged recently?”
“Yeah.”
“Well, I just ran out on my engagement party.”
“Hey, Mace, care to share with the class?” Penny asks.
“Oh!” Macie guides Rachel over to the gang. “Everyone, this is my childhood best friend, Rachel. Rach, you remember my brother, Adam, right?”
“Sure, hi.” Rachel gives Adam a friendly hug. He’s ecstatic.
“And this is Harry, I think you guys met a few times back in the day. He was Adam’s college roommate.” Macie goes on.
“Yeah.” Rachel gives Harry a small wave.
“And this is Niall, Harry’s current roommate. He’s an aspiring actor. And this is Penny. She and I used to live together up until recently.”
“It’s so nice to meet all of you.” Rachel says, then looks at Macie. “So…does this mean you’re looking for a roommate?”
“I mean, my apartment is rent controlled thanks to my grandmother, so I’m not actively looking. Why?”
“I…I was sort of hoping maybe I could come stay with you. I…I needed to get out and away from everything. I don’t want to marry my fiancé, and my parents don’t want to listen.”
“You’re engaged?” Adam asks.
“Not after today.” Rachel says. “Mace, I know I’ve been a shitty friend since we graduated college, and I know I don’t deserve any of your kindness, but…you’re the only person I could think of to run to.”
“You said today was your engagement party?” Rachel nods yes at Macie. “Thanks for the invite.” She smirks.
“Ugh, I’m sorry. The woman who was supposed to be my mother in law barely let me invite any of my friends. It’s another reason I don’t want to marry into the family.”
After a bit more context, Adam is carrying the the two large luggage bags that Rachel came running into the coffee shop with up to Macie’s apartment. Everyone else follows behind to see how they can help. Macie gives Rachel some sweats to change into, and sets her up in the shower.
“Wait, so you grew up with this girl?” Niall asks.
“Yeah, we were best friends. We went to different colleges. I obviously went to culinary school, and she joined a sorority. We stayed pretty good friends up until we both graduated. She went back to high society living, and I came to the city to work.” Macie explains. “We stayed friends on social media, but haven’t talked much in a couple of years.”
“She’s pretty hot, I’m kinda glad she’s not getting married.” Niall smirks.
“Maybe wait at least a day until you start hitting on her.” Macie rolls her eyes playfully.
“Or not at all.” Adam says.
“I don’t know, it could make her laugh.” Harry chimes in.
“Oh! I could play her a song!” Penny says cheerily.
“I think we should just give her some space for tonight. She’s obviously been through a lot today.” Macie says, giving Penny’s shoulder a squeeze. “Guys, would you mind going out to pick up a couple of pizzas? Comfort food is going to be much needed.”
“Sure.” Harry nods.
“I’ll stay here.” Adam says. “I’m another familiar face, could make her feel more comfortable.”
“I’ll go.” Penny volunteers. “I want to get a gluten free pizza.”
Penny, Niall, and Harry all leave. Rachel comes out of the bathroom in Macie’s clothes, looking much more fresh. Her face is still a little puffy from crying, but she’s feeling better.
“The others went out for pizza, they’ll bring it back soon.” Macie says. “Do you want some tea or anything?”
“No, thank you.” Rachel gives her a soft smile. Her phone buzzes in her hand and she sighs heavily. “I’m turning this off. If I get one more call from my parents, I’ll scream.”
“Do they at least know you’re alright?” Adam asks.
“Yeah, I let them know I was somewhere safe, and that I’d call in a few days.”
“If you didn’t want to get married, why’d you say yes to your fiancé?” Adam asks.
“I felt pressured. He asked me in a really public setting, and I didn’t want to embarrass him. This morning I packed a ton of my shit because I knew it was now or never. He had to work earlier, so he had no idea I packed things up. He was blindsided, so I feel guilty about that, but I needed to get out.”
“Was he…abusing you at all?” Adam asks carefully.
“No.” Rachel shakes her head. “He’s a very kind man, he’s just not my forever. I don’t want to be a house wife on the arm of some doctor who has no time for me or our kids.”
“You were going to marry a doctor?” Macie asks.
“Yeah, Brad’s an orthodontist.”
“Brad?” Adam repeats.
“It’s short for Bradford. He’s forty, and very kind, and was loving. But…I felt pressured to stay with him, and-“
“I’m sorry, forty? Aren’t you only twenty-six?” Adam asks.
“Yeah, so?”
“So…your parents were okay with that age difference?”
“They love Brad, are you kidding?” Rachel scoffs. “Their darling daughter was going to marry a doctor. They were over the moon excited.”
“Pizza’s here!” Niall says as he opens the door. “Hey, Rachel, feeling any better?”
“Much.” Rachel nods. “Thanks for going out in this awful weather.”
“No problem. Pizza cures everything.” Penny smiles.
Rachel fills the rest of the gang in on her life with Brad. They take turns asking her various questions. Harry doesn’t ask her much of anything, he just chimes in with comments here and there. Several bottles of wine are opened. Niall ends up taking Penny home, to make sure she got back alright. Macie had to go to bed because she had to be in early at the restaurant. Adam had basically eyed Harry to tell him to get lost so he did, which left Rachel alone with him.
“I’m sorry to hear about your divorce, by the way.” Rachel says to Adam.
“Oh, thanks. It was for the best. I think we’re both much happier now.” He sits up a little and clears his throat. “You know, when we were younger…I had a huge crush on you.”
“Yeah, I knew.” She smiles.
“Oh…I always just thought you looked at me like I was Macie’s nerdy older brother.”
“I did.” Rachel’s smile grows.
“Oh.” Adam clears his throat again. “Do you still think I’m nerdy?”
“You’re a paleontologist, so yeah a little. But you’ve matured a lot.”
“Would you ever…you know, when you’re feeling up to it…want to go out sometime?”
“Maybe, yeah.” Her smiles continues. “I don’t think I’ll be ready to date for a while, but when I am, I’ll let you know.”
“Cool.” Adam smiles. “Well, I’m sure you’re exhausted. I hope you sleep alright.”
“Thank you, Adam.”
Rachel watches him leave before shuffling into her new bedroom. Macie spent some time making sure everything was good to go in there for her. As she lays down, she can’t help but start crying. She turns her phone on, and sees the dozens of texts and calls she missed. She opens up her text thread with Brad and sends him a simple, I’m sorry, before turning her phone back off.

hihihi today's reminder is ok let's talk friends because this is my first time in a few years watching it all the way through and I'm halfway through season four and i have Thoughts
Monica reminds me a bit of me where she just is so clear about what she wants in a relationship, like I've always been called crazy for dating to marry instead of "enjoying my 20s" but like i am enjoying it with someone I'll enjoy the rest of my life with too, and i soooo see that in Monica and it makes me feel better. which is funny because i never resonated with her like that before, but at the point I'm at right now in life, i see so much of myself in how much she holds these very few people dear, how she values her community and her stability and is always the one making sure the community has a place and a reason to gather
i love love love good character growth so Rachel, chandler and Joey are obviously my babies. Rachel is annoying about ross but we'll forgive that for how hard she worked to go from spoiled daughter to waitress to fashion icon we love her here she deserves the best. Phoebe also obviously my own child, i bore her and raised her and watch all her performances while beaming with pride Ross… David schwimmer saves him a lot let's just say that. when I'm not really watching as much as listening to the show while i play candy crush, he's unbearable, but he's funny when you watch him. almost charming sometimes
ok relationships: Monica and Chandler remain untouched. i love the idea of Joey and Phoebe, and there's a fair bit of hinting towards it and it's a shame they never explored it but i just love Mike so much. Joey and Rachel though, yes, a million times yes. they could've been mondler part 2, they could've had it all. they truly wasted that pairing by using it just to make Ross jealous. and Ross... well. does he deserve love, really? no he doesn't why the fuck did they spend so long building Rachel up as someone so smart and confident and self made and comfortable in her own skin just to waste her on a man that will control her every breathing second and somehow make himself the victim for her daring to have her own life and her own feelings
yeah i don't like Ross lmao. i also like the idea of Rachel ending up with Mark (… the one who got her her job not the nct rapper) just as a fuck you to Ross and because he seemed super sweet and actually genuinely rooted for her based on nothing but kindness
Hii, Firstly I commend you so much for sticking to your own standards and values, I respect that so much you know what you want and you didn't settle for less and you're getting exactly what you wanted. I love that so much. And Monica was very driven and sure of herself and I have a soft spot for her of course from her childhood as a fat kid like so many of her flashbacks really struck home for me. And I won't get into the way 90s\00s shows showcased fat people but I will say The Gilmore girls is the only show albeit not perfect who did a pretty good job in how they presented sookie who i love. But also her being the left behind child who was always in Ross's shadow and didn't get the love and care she deserved from her parents. Like I love Monica and I'm glad she got her happy ending. Rachel dropping her past life, running off from her wedding and starting all over from scratch alone foreshadowed her growth, obviously not the best judge of character with men especially when it comes to Ross but we can look past that. But I loved her with Joey so much. Joey is just a joy, a delight, he was like 25 when I was just a one year old but he is my baby and i love him. I totally forgot about Mike oh I loved him with Phoebe. Oh I would have loved to see what was going on with Dan and Serena and Blair which If you've seen gossip girl it was confusing as hell right. But like that with Joey and Phoebe and Rachel. Like Joey explores things with Phoebe but ultimately ends up with Rachel and Phoebe with Mike. But like all three are like still super chill with each other. And Ross, I have never and will never like that man. David Swimmer is a delight but Ross is the worst. Ted Mosby from how I met your mother was birthed from Ross Geller. I will not get into Ted but iykyk. But yeah Fuck Ross.

In defense of Ross geller
I've seen a lot of tik Tok of people slandering the character Ross from the TV show friends and while I understand the criticism like he's a terrible boyfriend to many of the girls he dated and makes worst desicions in the show but Ross isn't the worst and I can't help but defended this character because at this point, people especially the ones on tiktok are trying to find ways to slander him which doesn't make sense.
The recent one I've seen is that Ross was a bad parent to both Ben and Emma and it's because of his minimalism time with Ben than later on emma. Ben's parents are divorced and appears that it's not really 50/50. One of the things that Ross has problems was the fact that he couldn't spend time with Ben that much is this is where he kept missing ben's milestone and wants Ben more longer. It seems like Ben spends a christmas over at carol and Susan's place and I do believe Ross visits to spend time with him. In season 7, Ross was allowed to have Ben and wanted him to learn about Hanukkah. He picks up Ben at school and he pretty much there for him in his life. I do have problem with him putting the toxic masculinity towards his son but than again Joey and chandlers aren't out of the woods for that either. He helps Rachel with Emma as much as he could even when they aren't living together any more. I think that Ross is good father as he could. One of the reasons why Ross didn't want to move to London was because he didn't want to leave Ben. The creator says this as a manipulation tactics because in their eyes, Ross doesn't spend time with Ben. When he actually does. We just don't see it that often because Ross' character isn't just him being just a friend. I saw one comment saying that Ross was a terrible father because his father Jack forgot he had another grandchild when he saw Emma. Ross literally says in that episode "what about Ben?". I think that Jack probably has short memory loss but that's my headcannon.
Another part I see people is his relationship with Rachel and I believe that both of them are in the wrong of what they did but they focus more ross' terrible choices rather than what Rachel. Whenever they are together, Ross made decisions that weren't okay which lead to them breaking up. While Rachel was ruining his relationships. There are three times where this happened. Ross cheated on both bonnie and Julie with Rachel and yet Rachel gets a past because she is not in the relationship with them even though she had problems with both of the girls like how she convinced bonnie to shave her head because she knew it would turn ross off and when phoebe said that Julie wanted a haircut and her hairstyle to be a celebrity and Rachel on purpose told phoebe the wrong celebrity. So when ross does the same time, she feels like a victim I mean she is but she didn't care about any of the girl's feelings but rather herself. She never felt any remorse for her actions because to her, she didn't feel like she owed them anything. I saw many comments saying that Joey wouldn't never cheat is not 100% true. When Joey was dating Kathy, he was seeing someone. They may have not put a label in their relationship. But kathy probably thought they were exclusive considering the fact that Joey called chandler as asked if he can cover him meaning that he didn't want to get caught despite believing his relationship with Kathy was nothing serious.
Whenever you bring up a good fact about ross, people on tiktok would try to find something wrong. For example when ross gave phoebe a bike and him finding out that she walked the bike rather than ride it. One of the many comments talk about he threatened to take the bike away all because she wouldn't ride the bike but they don't explain why. Ross gifted phoebe the bike after hearing the story. Now ross should've been knowledgeable about the fact that because phoebe never had a bike, she wouldn't learn how to ride one. However he helps her out and at one part he let's go which at what you do but because she turn to see he not behind her, she loses balance. I don't think ross would actually take the bike away but rather want to see how much does the bike mean to her. However in the end they find a solution by putting training wheels on the bike.

The One With the Longhorns Shirt - J.S.
Tumblr media
summary - Y/N is trying to figure out how to tell the father of her baby that she is pregnant. Her friends are ever-desperate to find out who it is, and Phoenix takes matters into her own hands and help her out.
warnings - language, pregnancy, just fluff basically lol, use of Y/N
wc - 2.3k
A/N - Oooook, my first pic! I wanted to start with something fun and I was watching Friends, so this is basically just the episode where Phoebe, Monica, and Joey find out who the father of Rachel's baby is. It's my favorite episode, okay, sue me (please don't). P.S., for the sake of this fic, let's pretend Jake is not like Glen and does not mention UT Austin every other sentence. P.P.S, Javy and Jake went to UT Austin together because they are the bestest of friends and no one can tell me otherwise.
part 2
Tumblr media
“Wait, so who's the father? Does he know yet? Are you gonna tell him?” Nat peppered you with questions.
It was a Saturday morning, and Phoenix and Bob were over at Rooster and your place for breakfast when you revealed to them that you were pregnant. Currently, the three of you had finished your meals and were lounging in the living room catching up. You sighed, gazing between two of your best friends, “No, he doesn’t know yet. I’ll tell you once I tell him this afternoon, I just have to figure out how I’m gonna tell him first.”
“Wow,” Phoenix exhaled, “that’s crazy. You’re telling this guy today and he has absolutely no idea it’s going to happen. I mean, like, you’re just gonna knock on his door and change his entire life.”
Phoenix’s words echoed in your ears. There was no malicious intent behind what she had said, she was just thinking out loud and you knew that, but it still got you worried. You began to pick at your nails, a nervous habit you’d had since childhood. Were you wrong for thinking the father had a right to know?
“Well, I mean, it doesn’t have to change his life, I’m not gonna ask him for anything. I just think he deserves to know,” You replied, somewhat defensively.
“No, you’re totally right, he does. It’s just like, he’s walking around right now thinking ‘I had sex with Y/N L/N, I rock!’. Then BAM everything is different, and he’s deciding if he wants to be a father or not. That’s wild.” Shaking her head absentmindedly, Phoenix stood up from her chair to put her plate in the sink.
You sat cross-legged in the armchair, eyes wide with fear and anxiety at her words. The seriousness of the situation hung in the air. Bob took in your now-fearful demeanor and moved closer to you, sitting on the arm of your chair.
Rubbing your back reassuringly, he carefully tried to repair all of the damage Natasha managed to do in minutes. “Y/N, ignore her. I know it’s scary, and I know you’re worried about how much this is gonna change the father’s life, but you just gotta do it. Don’t think, just do, huh?” He winked, nudging your arm.
Looking up at him, you sighed heavily. “You’re right. I’m gonna tell him today, I swear, I am. But I do have some errands I want to get done before I do,” Standing up from the chair, you slipped on your shoes and grabbed your phone, wallet, and keys and placing them in your bag, “Rooster will be home in a little bit, so feel free to hang out until then if you want.” Your friends nodded in response, as they began cleaning up what was left of the meal.
“Sounds good, honey. We’ll clean up the mess from breakfast. Let us know if you need anything today, yeah?”
“Of course, Nix. I’ll see you guys later!” You yelled, pulling the door shut behind you as you exited.
----------
About an hour after you had left, Rooster walked into the house. He had just come back from his morning workout, dropping his keys in the bowl and toeing off his shoes. With headphones on, he walked right past his two friends sitting on his couch, both silently occupied, one by magazine and the other by phone. Registering something in his peripheral, Rooster slowly backpedaled, taking in his friends’ forms and removing his headphones as he moved farther into the room. “Hello, people who don’t live here.”
“Hey, Rooster.”
“Hi, Bradley.”
“Soooo is there a reason you guys are here or...? Not that I’m not absolutely thrilled for the unexpected company of people I work with and see every single day” He asked, as he sat in the armchair next to the couch Phoenix and Bob were occupying. “We had breakfast with Y/N this morning and she had to run a few errands but said we could hang out for a little.” Bob replied, putting his phone away.
“Man, isn’t it crazy that she’s pregnant?” Phoenix quipped, piquing Bradley’s attention as she placed the magazine on the coffee table.
“I’m sorry, she’s what?!” Rooster’s eyes practically bugged out of his head, this was the first he was hearing of this. “Since when?!”
“Since this morning. Or, well, definitely before this morning, but she told us this morning,” Bob supplied. Bradley stilled, mulling over the new information.
“Dude you’re gonna have a baby living here soon. Well, unless she moves in with the father,” Phoenix spoke amusedly. “Wait, who’s the father?” Rooster asked, now needing to know all the details.
“We don’t know. She said she won’t tell us until she tells him, but she’s telling him today, so...” The brunette woman trailed off. The three aviators sat in silence for a few moments until Bradley let out a quiet gasp, “I wonder if it’s that dude.”
“There’s a dude? Well, who is it?” Bob followed up.
“Yeah, well, like a month ago, this guy spent the night with Y/N. I didn’t get a good look at the guy but,” Rooster stopped abruptly as he stood from his seat and walked down the hall towards the bedrooms. “Was that story over?” Phoenix asked, brow furrowed in confusion as she turned towards Bob. Bradley walked back to the living room holding a burnt orange Texas Longhorns t-shirt, “The guy left this.”
Phoenix gasped, grabbing the t-shirt, “Oh my god, I know who the father is!”
---------
While you were out trying to run errands, you had received multiple texts from Nat telling you to meet her at the Hard Deck at 5. As you pulled your Jeep into the parking lot at 4:59 p.m., you spotted her waiting outside the doors for you. You exited your car, and made your way over to your friend.
Natasha eyed you as you approached, giving you a smug grin. “Okay, because I am such a good friend and also feel very bad about freaking you out this morning, I called the father and asked him to meet you here so you could tell him. Go on!” She rushed, trying to force you through the double doors of the bar.
You immediately stopped in your tracks, planting your feet in the wooden steps before she could get you inside. “Hey, woah, woah, wait a minute, Phoenix, how do you even know who the father is?”
She scoffed. “I’m more than just a damn good fighter pilot with an ass that won’t quit,” Nat smirked. You rolled your eyes in response. She then pulled the Longhorns shirt from her bag and held it up for you to see, “I believe this belongs to the father of your baby.”
Your eyes widened at the sight of the shirt in Natasha’s hands. You eyed the article of clothing, contemplating your choices. You could run to your car and drive away like a coward or you could just walk in there and face the father of your future child. Exhaling shakily, you grabbed the door handle, “Alright, let’s just rip the bandaid off.”
The Hard Deck in the afternoon was mostly empty, with only a few patrons scattered around the large bar. You could hear Penny puttering around in the back somewhere, presumably doing inventory. You supposed the less people were here, the better, on the off chance the father caused a scene. Looking around, you were confused, not finding the man you were expecting to see. You were met with an elbow to the ribs as Natasha nudged you and a voice caught your attention, “Hey, Y/N.”
You whipped around to see Coyote’s smiling face as he lifted himself out of the booth he had claimed. “Coyote, h-hi,” You stuttered as he pulled you in for a hug, thrown off by his presence.
“So, what’s this about?” He asked, as the three of you slid into the booth.
You looked at him, unable to form words.
“Y/N has something that she wants to tell you,” Phoenix spoke bluntly, “And, I believe that this,” she unfolded the burnt orange shirt, “is your Longhorns t-shirt?”
You shook your head, giving Natasha a pointed glare for her bluntness.
“Uh, no,” Coyote confusedly began, as he slowly pulled up the front of his gray hoodie, “This is my Longhorns t-shirt.” There, in front of you and Phoenix, sat Coyote, wearing the exact same Longhorns t-shirt as the one in Nat’s hands. The one belonging to your baby daddy.
“Oh, no,” Phoenix mumbled to herself, realizing what she had done. Her eyes darted between the two of you before she pushed herself to her feet. “Can I get anyone a drink? or poison? Just me? Ok.” And with that, she excused herself and began walking around the bar in search of Penny.
You sighed, taking in the gorgeous man sitting across from you. His sparkling brown eyes focused on you. You were about to cut to the chase and tell him what the fuck just happened when he started speaking again.
“Y’know, I’m really glad Phoenix called me. I know we kind of called things off a last year, but I’ve been doing some thinking and I really think we should give it another try,” He looked at you with hope-filled eyes, “We can take it slow or however you want to -”
“Javy, I’m pregnant,” You blurted in the middle of his sentence. You just couldn’t bear to lead him on any longer. He needed to know the truth. “Sorry. I didn’t mean for that to come out so harsh. I just–what we had was fun and you are such an amazing guy. I value our friendship so much, but I’m having this baby and I can’t put that responsibility on you. I’m so sorry, Javy.”
“Oh,” The weight of your words lingered like storm clouds over the two of you. Javy moved his gaze to the table and his now empty glass of water. Your heart ached for him. The two of you had gone out for 6 months the year before but decided to end things that spring. You ended on good terms, and because you lived with one of his close friends and coworker, the two of you still hung out together occasionally. He let out a dejected sigh and once again looked at you, “I’m happy for you. You’re gonna be a great mom.”
“Thanks, J, that means a lot.” You replied quietly. Awkward silence quickly overcame you both, soft notes emanating from the jukebox filled your eras as Coyote gazed around the room, desperately looking anywhere but your eyes. The discomfort radiated off him in waves, the least you could do was put him out of his misery. “Javy?”
“Yeah?” He pulled his gaze to you as he waited for your next words.
“You can go if you want.”
As soon as the words left your mouth, he was out of the booth. You knew not to take it to heart, you had just interrupted his proposition of getting back together with the news of you having another man’s baby. Slowly, you slid out of the booth and made your way to Nat, extremely ready to go home and forget this just happened.
---------
You unlocked the front door and slowly shuffled your way inside, placing your bag on the hook and keys in the bowl. Phoenix followed closely behind, placing the Longhorns shirt on the side table by the front door. “Hey, how’d it go with Coyote?” Bradley hopped up from the couch and made his way towards you.
“Well, pretty fuckin’ awkward considering Coyote’s not the father, and since when do you know?” You replied tiredly as Bradley pulled you into a bear hug. “Since Phoenix told me this morning,” he smiled, “And I’m so happy for you, toots.”
You pulled your head from his chest to glare at Natasha before turning back to Bradley. “Thanks, Roo.” You gave him one last squeeze before releasing him and sitting down at the kitchen table.
Bob turned, looking at you over the back of the couch, “So, if it’s not Coyote, are you ever gonna tell whoever it is?”
“Yeah, I will. I just don’t think I’m up for it tonight,” Your friends and roommate nodded at your answer, “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I am tired from growing another human inside me and all of this baby daddy nonsense, so I am going to lie down.” You slowly stood from the chair and shuffled down the hallway towards your bedroom.
Minutes after you went to bed, Payback and Hangman came by to return a wetsuit Payback borrowed that morning from Rooster. “Hey man, thanks again for letting me borrow it, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to go surfing and see Hangman absolutely eat shit several times,” the taller, dark-skinned man chuckled with Rooster as Hangman sat on the couch next to Bob, practically pouting.
“Of course, any time, man. Are you guys staying for dinner?”
“Nah, my wife’s making dinner right now, so I actually need to get going, but thanks again!” Payback said as he walked out.
Jake stood up, stretching his sore body from a day of surfing, “I should probably get going too, I have to pick up my sister and her family from the airport in a few hours.” The tall blonde began to walk towards the front door. “Hey, my Longhorns shirt!” he exclaimed as he picked up the pile of fabric off the table near the entrance, “I’ve been looking for this for like a month.” Shaking his head, he tossed it over his shoulder as he opened the door and left.
“Oh. My. God!” Nat and Bob cried simultaneously. They watched Bradley gasp loudly a few seconds later, “OH MY GOD!”

What is in the back seat of your car right now? There are letter-shaped pillows. Used to be in my parents’ room but they donated it so that my car can have pillows if anyone needs to take a nap in it. I think one of my bucket hats may also be in there.
What was the last thing you threw up? A bunch...my dinner, soju, the snacks I had while drinking. Last night was a mess, lol.
Menthol or regular cigarettes? I don’t use cigarettes but I do vape. I always get the watermelon variant.
What is your favorite episode of Friends? Okay, so even though I have access to it since all the seasons are on Crave, I haven’t actually watched the entire series in chronological order from start to finish. *Shock gasp horror* I may finally do it at some point, but so far I’ve only seen a handful of episodes. I laughed really fucking hard at the one where Ross goes on a date and gets stuck in those leather pants, though. < This is LITERALLY my favorite episode - The One With All the Resolutions. It has Phoebe trying to steal a plane, Rachel trying not to gossip, Ross trying something new every day which somehow leads to him struggling with leather fucking pants, Joey learning the guitar, Chandler trying to not make fun of the name Hornswoggle, and Monica taking photos of everyone. Everything was just so well-put together and made for a really funny episode.
Does anyone have any blackmail on you? Probably.
If you could marry any celebrity today who would it be? Delulu-wise, I’d go for Yoongi in a heartbeat hahaha.
Have you been to a strip club? I have never been inside one but I’ve driven past some and the doors are for some reason always open wide, and so I always take a second or two to look at the poles inside and the pink lights and stuff like that haha.
Is there anything pink within 10 feet of you? Yeah - my keyboard cover is literally pink.
Are you wearing socks right now? Nah. I could wear socks rn since I’m holed up in our room in Zambales and feeling cozy and all, but I’m too lazy to put them on.
What was the last thing you had to drink? I had cookies and cream milk tea from this local tea place.
What are you wearing right now? Yellow tank top and denim shorts.
Last food you ate? Quattro formaggi pizza and chicken tenders.
Have you bought any clothing items in the last week? Nah, I only occasionally buy new clothes.
When is the last time you ran? I’m not too sure. I don’t run a lot since I spend much of my time at home; and when I do find myself outdoors there’s usually barely any reason for me to start running.
What’s the last sporting event you watched? Does it have to be live? I watched the first hour of Wrestlemania 30 a couple of weeks ago. As for real life, probably a UAAP game back in 2019.
Last person’s house you were in? I didn’t go inside anymore since it had been like 11 PM, but I last drove by Angela’s place to drop her off.
Last movie you saw? I rewatched Steve Jobs last weekend and the screenplay was every bit as spectacular as I last recalled it to be.
Who is the last person you sent a message to on Facebook? Angela. I was just telling her how socially exhausted I am from this trip and that I plan to spend my remaining time here holed up in our room. Extrovert Robyn is OUT, hahaha.
Ever go to camp? No.
Were you an honor roll student in school? My first school doesn’t have one l since they don’t want to encourage competition and all, which honestly makes more sense to me and I’ll always be grateful for that. But in college, yeah I made it all throughout.
Do you like sushi? Fucking love it. It’s probably my top favorite food.
Do you have a tan? My co-workers remarked earlier that I’ve already started to look darker, so yeah it’s safe to say that I do have a tan now.
How old do you want to be when you have kids? 27 is an ideal age but the possibility seems bleak at this point.
Have you ever drank your soda from a straw? I don’t think I have. I barely drink soda in the first place anyway, so.
What is your age? 23, but I’m turning 24 in April.
Are you someone’s best friend? Yes.
What are your siblings’ middle names? Beatrice, Edgardo.
Where is your dad right now? In a cruise ship somewhere in France. He’s coming home next week though! :) What was the last thing you said? “Thanks Gela!” I just asked the owner of the hostel we’re currently staying at for the wifi password and I thanked her after she typed it for me on my laptop.
What color is your watch? I don’t wear watches.
What do you think of when you think of Australia? My aunt and her family who live there.
Ever ridden on a roller coaster? Yeah, once.
Favorite gemstone? Diamond.
Do you go in at a fast food place or just hit the drive thru? Drive-thru or just delivery altogether.
Do you have a roommate? Nope. Do you have any bad habits? Yeah, being a hardass perfectionist and overworking are two of them.
What is your favorite number? These days it’s 7.
Do you know anyone named Lori? Nah but this name reminds me of Lori Grimes from The Walking Dead, who I rooted for just because the actress who plays her is really pretty HAHA. Lori is objectively a shitty character, though.
What color is your mom’s hair? Black.
Do you have a dog? Yes and I miss them both so much.
What happened to you in 1993? Like, I was probably a sperm cell back then.
Does your first memory involve your dad? It doesn’t. My mom is in it, though.
Do you remember singing any songs as kids? Yes. I have a couple of videos of younger me singing, too.
When was the last time you went swimming? November. I’ve gone to the beach a couple of times during this trip but I haven’t actually swum. I’m not planning to either; I don’t feel like getting wet and all this weekend. Looking at the sea will suffice for now.
Has your luggage ever gotten lost? No.
Biggest annoyance in your life right this minute? Welp, the power in the hostel came out five minutes ago so we’ve lost the internet connection. There’s also like, zero signal here so I can’t connect to 5G either. Hopefully it comes back soon so I can actually post this survey and look for other ones to take.
Have you ever thought it would be cool to smash a guitar? No. Unless it’s a rock concert and it would be cool to see a guitar getting smashed, this just sounds like a big waste of money overall.
Do you like watching a bonfire? Sure, they’re fun.
Are you allergic to anything? Grass and certain fabrics, yep.
What is one thing you miss about your past? I miss being an associate, hahaha. Being a manager gets really hard sometimes.
Do you ever get flu shots? No.
Favorite shoes that you wear all the time? My Ivy Park sneakers.
What is one thing you’ve learned about life recently? I really need to separate my emotions from work. I take the smallest of mistakes incredibly seriously and personally so it affects the way I approach work more than I would want it to.
Are you jealous of anyone? No.
Is anyone jealous of you? I doubt it.

Warnings: This Shit Is LONG, Spoilers For Season 3 Episode 19, Fluff,
Notes: This Shit Took All Day To Make, Oh My God. It’s Long Since It’s Literally Every Chandler Scene In That Episode Except For One. But, Uh, Obviously, Enjoy!
"Hello, people who do not live here.”
Phoebe, Ross, Chandler and you turned to the front door of Monica's apartment, to see her standing there, eyebrows raised. “Hi" Phoebe and Ross greeted in unison, Chandler saying "hel-lo" and you merely waved.
"I gave you a key for emergencies" she reminded, hanging up her bag.
"We were out of Doritos" Phoebe told, Chandler and you looking back at the book he was reading, as you shifted on the arm of the sofa he sat in.
"Hey, how'd the date with Mr. Millionaire go?" Ross asked, watching Monica take off her coat.
"'Mr. Millionaire, new from Snooty Playthings'" Chandler teased, altering the pitch of his voice to sound like an infomerical announcer." “Third wife sold separately" he raised his eyebrows, then nodding proudly.
You snickered, lightly pushing his shoulder and looking back to Monica."Seriously, how was it?" You asked.
Monica groaned, walking over. “He's great! I mean, we have such a good time together. He's so funny, and so sweet, and I'm not attracted to him at all!" She exclaimed.
"Still?" Ross then asked.
"No! It's driving me crazy. I mean, in every other way, he's like the perfect guy. He has everything. Plus, he actually has everything.”
Chandler leaned back in his seat, book closed and on his chest. “Life-sized imperial storm troopers from sharper image?" He suggested, head tilted slightly.
"Two." Monica smiled, holding up two fingers.
"Wow." Chandler sat up again, amazed. “Can Joey and I put them on and fight?"
"Why can't I put it on and we fight?" You pouted, turning to Chandler.
"Because you know I'd never wanna hurt you. Joey's my best friend, and he's a real idiot sometimes" Chandler replied, looking up at with with his bright, pretty blue eyes. “Not like you'd ever try to hurt me, anyway.”
You pulled a sturgeon face, "yea, true." You turned back to Monica, ready to ask her another question. But, before you could, Joey came prancing in, singing something.
"Oh mommy, oh daddy, I am a big old baddy!" He cheered, circling the kitchen table."Oh mommy, oh daddy, I am a big old baddy!" Joey repeated, quickly out the door.
Chandler, confused out of his mind, blinked as he turned from Joey, to you, and over to Monica, expecting any reaction or explanation from the woman with the hand on her chest, who had an equal amount of shock on her face.
"I, whole-heartedly, never want to hear Joey say 'daddy' ever again" you stated, raising a finger.
"I guess he must have gotten the part in that play" Ross cleared up, earning an "Oh!" Of realization from Phoebe and you.
"Yea, either that or Gloria Estefan was right- eventually, the rhythm is going to get you" Chandler added, you nodding in agreement.
***
Joey, Phoebe, Monica, Chandler and you all sat around at Central Perk, with the Mr. Millionaire man that Monica recently went on a date with.
"So you're like a zillionaire" Phoebe commented, having you chuckle at that.
"And you're our age, your our age" Chandler squinted, one leg crossed over the other. He had an arm around you, gesturing with that hand as he tried wrapping his head around the fact that Monica's date is richer than rich, but also their age.
"You know what?" Phoebe asked, "you should, like, you should buy a state and then just name it after yourself.”
Monica's date, Pete, scoffed. “Like, Pete Dakota?" He suggested.
Phoebe and Monica laughed. “Yea, or- or Mississipete" Phoebe joked, letting it be Pete's turn to laugh.
"Oh, oh, I got it" Joey pointed at Pete, with an idea. “Pete Chicago.”
Chandler and you exchanged looks. “That's not a state, Joe" Chandler broke it to him, locking eyes with Joey.
"Oh, and Mississipete is?" Joey asked, scoffing.
Chandler, 100% done, turned over to you, looking at you badly concealing a laugh at the look of defeat on his face. “Y'know, (Y/n)'s quite the money man himself" he pointed out.
"Really? What do you do, uh, (Y/n)?" Pete asked, turning to you.
You sucked your teeth, rubbing the back of your neck. “Not myself necessarily, it's- it's my dad, he has this oil company, y'know, uh-”
"Oh, oh, (L/n) North?" Peter asked, you nodding in amazement. “Pretty popular company." After a beat of silence, he announced "I gotta go, so, uh, I'll see you guys later." getting up and out of his seat, going over to the door to grab his coat.
"You're our age!" Chandler repeated, watching Monica follow him.
"So, uh, we still on for tomorrow night?" Pete asked, grabbing his coat and turning to Monica.
"Absolutely" Monica answered, leaving them in tense silence. Until, that is, Monica, out of fear, ruffled his hair and said "now, get out of here, you!" With Joey's, Chandler's, Phoebe's, and your eyes on her. When Pete left, Monica came back over, putting her hands on the arm of the sofa Chandler, Phoebe and you sat on. “Okay, I'm running out of places I can touch him" she forced a smile onto her face. “I mean, is there something wrong with me? I mean, why am I only attracted to guys where there's no future? E-Either they're too old, or they're too young, and then there's Pete, who's- who's...crazy about me, I mean, he's absolutely perfect, and then there's like, zip going on. I mean, seriously, does it sound like there's something wrong with me?" Monica stressed, eyes wide with fear.
"Yea, kinda" Phoebe replied, nodding slightly.
You leaned back, laying on Chandler's chest, who automatically wrapped his arms around you. “Maybe it's because you're rushing into literally every guy you meet, you're trying to make something happen, out of fear. Just go with the flow for a while. I mean, I didn't immediately try to date Chandler when I first met him. I saw he was cute, got to know him, fell for him, 'n' look at us. Perfect stuff takes time, Monnie, c'mon.”
Chandler looked down at you. “You said you didn't think I was cute when we first met".
"Yea, well, I also told you I'm a sucker for floppy hair. You had floppy hair. I thought you'd have put the pieces together by now" you mumbled, smiling up at him.
***
Ross, Chandler, and you were in Chandler's apartment, now. Ross stood glued to the door, looking through the peephole as Chandler and you lay stomach-down on the recliners, holding hands and watching a basketball game on TV.
"Ross, you've got to stop, okay?" Chandler called, making no effort to actually turn and look at him."You can’t just stare through the peephole for three hours!".
"You're gonna get peep-eye!" You added, proud when you heard Chandler giggle and praise you with "nice one, babe.”
"I knew it, I knew it, I always knew she liked him" Ross started. “She'd say no, but here we are, right?" He asked, watching Chandler and you spin around in your seats to face him, "we just broke up first thing she does-"
"You didn't just break up-" Chandler corrected, Ross butting in again.
"Hey, it's been like, three weeks.”
"You slept with somebody three hours after you thought you broke up!" Chandler reminded, gesturing a hand over at him and getting up. “I mean, bullets have left guns slower" he added, helping you up.
Ross shushed him, whispering "here they come, here they come. Oh, if she kisses him goodnight I'm gonna kill myself, I swear. I can't, I can't watch this-" he told, turning to shake his head at Chandler and you, but immediately going back to look through the peephole.
Chandler put his hands on his hips, watching Ross in a disapproving manner as you looped your arms around one of his, holding onto him.
"Come on, date over, date over" Ross silently chanted. “Oh, oh, here we go, she's going in, she's going in-" he giggled, Chandler replying "okay", glad that this would be over. But then Ross' tone changed. “Wait-" he pressed both hands against the door, "he's going in.”
Chandler raised his eyebrows, lowering them as he scoffed and glanced at you.
"He's going in!" Ross repeated, "the door's closed!" He explained, turning to face Chandler and you. “I can't see anything with the door closed!" Ross whined, walking away from Chandler's door.
"And the inventor of the door rests happily in grave" you remarked, earning a quick smile of amusement from Chandler as you both turned around to look at Ross.
"Okay, I have to do something, I mean, I have to- I have to stop it" Ross groaned.
"Stop what?" You asked.
"I don't know! But the- I- I have a feeling that my being there will do it" Ross stuttered."I'll go over, and I'll borrow something...Juice! I need juice!" He declared, going to walk past Chandler, who grabbed him and yelled "no, you can't!"
Chandler pushed you out the way, jumping onto Ross' back as another way of stopping him.
"Look, they must be stopped!" Ross exclaimed, trudging past the fooseball table.
"I am your friend, and I am not gonna let you do this!" Chandler then proclaimed, grabbing onto the table, which he ended up pulling with him as Ross got to the door. “You are surprisingly strong" he looked confused as he said this, almost scared of how strong Ross was. “(Y/n), c'mon, help me, baby!"
You held onto the kitchen counter to stop from falling to the floor from laughing, shaking your head. “Oh, no, no, no, Channy, this is TOO funny!" You cackled as Chandler growled at you, still on Ross' back.
"I need juice" Ross weakly repeated as you calmed down, stepping forward. “People need juice!"
"Look, man..." You started, as Ross repeated what he said while Chandler struggled to finally close the door. “Listen to me!" You called, Chandler's legs walking backwards up the door.
"Juice! They need juice!" Ross cried, one of his own legs on the door, now.
You crossed your arms, watching in bewilderment. “This is so fucking weird to look at" you raised your eyebrows as the two men paused. “Can I please have my boyfriend back- y'know what-" you groaned, pulling Chandler off of Ross and held onto him, keeping your boyfriend close with your arms around his waist. You kissed Chandler's cheek, one of his hands flat on your chest, the other on your shoulder as he looked at Ross like the elder Geller sibling was a madman. “She's moving on, okay? If it's not this guy, it's gonna be somebody else! And unless you're thinking about subletting Chandler's peephole, you are gonna have to get used to the fact that the relationship is over" you explained, banging the counter a 'get used to'. “Okay, man? It's over.” You and Chandler stood in silence, both of you now ready to pounce back onto Ross in case he made a sudden run for it.
Ross sighed. “Yea, okay" he succumbed, "it's just, I miss her so much.”
"I know" you nodded, quickly patting his head.
"You're surprisingly...good at whatever that just was" Chandler mumbled.
"I've had to tell myself similar things in the past, Channy. I'm a natural at this point" you muttered rubbing his side soothingly, kissing his cheek again.
***
Chandler and you sat in his recliners, wearing his loose bath robes over plain shirts. You both faced the TV, then spun the recliners to face each other.
"I don't think this town is big enough for the both of us to relax in" he pointed out, as if the two of you were cowboys about to showdown in some Western movie. He awkwardly raised his fist to his face, lightly blowing it while maintaining eye contact with you. Chandler blinked and rolled his shoulders back then announcing "draw!"
At the same time, you both kicked up the feet of your recliners like cowboys would bring out their guns about now. Chandler and you started to laugh, nodding proudly and heads darting to look towards the door when Joey walked in, slamming it shut behind him.
"We weren't doing anything" Chandler blurted out, eyes wide.
Joeys slammed his bag down on the fooseball table, following his roughly-taken-off coat.
Chandler raised his eyebrows as he got up, offering a hand to help you up as well. “Uh-oh, what did she do now?" He shakily asked.
"Just because she went to Yale drama she thinks she's, like, the greatest actress since..." Joey opened the fridge, "since- since sliced bread" he finished, grabbing a bottle of beer and closing the fridge door.
"Ah, sliced bread" Chandler nodded knowingly.
"A wonderful Lady Macbeth" you nodded along, Chandler and you then giggling and nudging each other.
"God, I just- I hate her. I hate her, with her 'oh, I'm so talented' and 'ooh, I'm so pretty' and 'ooh, I smell so good'" Joey complained, mocking the girl in a weird voice, getting higher with each statement.
Chandler and you shared knowing looks with one another, then turning back to Joey. “I think somebody has a crush on somebody" Chandler teased, a hand on the counter.
"Hey, Chandler, can we please try and stay focused on my problem, here, y’know? Also, no shit you have a crush on (Y/n), you're dating, for crying out loud" Joey groaned, gesturing to himself.
You leaned onto the counter with one hand, your other on your hip. “He’s talking about you, you big, big freak" you insulted, looking at Joey with disbelief.
"Oh." Joey shifted on the spot, looking the both of you up and down in judgement. “Oh- oh, you're out of your mind" he cringed, walking past the two of you.
"Hey, you have done nothing but talk about her for the last forty-eight hours" Chandler followed Joey close behind, stopping at the wooden shelf Joey made once Joey walked into his room. “If you were in a schoolyard, you'd be pulling her pigtails and pushing her down now!"
"Because society has you at a young age that if you're mean to a girl, it means you like her" you added, tilting your head up intelligently. You approached Chandler, who instinctively wrapped an arm around you.
"Oh, yea?" Joey asked, now at the doorway of his room. “Then how come I keep thinking about her in all these sexual scenarios and stuff, huh?" He asked, raising his eyebrows as he pointed at Chandler, like what he said was just the smartest comeback in the world.
When, in reality, it made all three of you furrow your eyebrows in a mix of confusion and disgust.
"Maybe because what you feel is only sexual attraction towards her-?" You suggested, Chandler nodding and mumbling "okay-" to end the conversation.
***
Chandler lay on his back on the long couch of Monica's apartment, half-asleep with you fast asleep on his chest, the book he was reading now over your head like a hat.
"Hey," Phoebe called, instantly waking Chandler up.
He blinked wildly and looked around at where he was, then down at you. Slowly, Chandler picked up the book and set it on the table, using a finger to fix your hair and brush it out of your face. He smiled lovingly, hugging you like a body pillow, or like his arms was your blanket. Chandler gave Phoebe a shaken double-take.
"Why isn't it Spiderman?" She asked. “You know? Like Goldman, Silverman?"
Chandler cautiously adjusted how he lay on the sofa, careful not to wake you up, but to no avail. He pursed his lips, looking down at you apologetically as you groggily opened your eyes. “Ah, sorry, baby, I wasn't trying to wake you up-"
"'S okay, what's up?" You groaned, squinting over at Chandler with a sleepy smile on your face.
"Uh- Uh," Chandler cleared his throat, momentarily rendered speechless whenever you had that sleepy grin on your face. “Phoebe just asked me 'why isn't is Spiderman'. Like Goldman, or Silverman" he repeated. “Anyways, Phoebe, because it isn't- it's not his last name" Chandler answered, turning to Phoebe with furrowed eyebrows.
"It isn't?" Phoebe looked genuinely surprised.
"No. It's not like...Phil Spiderman" he shook his head.
"Yea, if that was the case, it would be 'Chandler Perfectman', not 'Bing'" you sleepily added, Chandler's cheeks flushing.
"He's a spider...man" Chandler explained, ignoring the heat in his face. “You know? Like, uh, like Goldman is a last name, but there is no gold man.”
"Sometimes, last names derive from what your ancestors were. Goldman and Silverman probably mean your ancestors were gold or silver miners, or silversmiths. Spiderman, if this is the case, would mean your ancestors fucked spiders or something" you noted, lazily raising a finger but quickly dropping it.
"Oh, oh, okay" Phoebe nodded, as if she just learned the true, real meaning of life. “There should be a gold-man!" She told, eyes going wide in realization.
Chandler nodded and raised his eyebrows, turning back down to you quickly.
"Hey." Rachel greeted, walking in and closing the door behind her
"Hey, Rachel." Monica smiled.
"Yo, Monica's here?" You asked, lifting your head up and turning towards the kitchen. “Hi, Monica!" You tiredly waved, not catching Chandler gazing at you in adoration.
"Hi, Chandler's boyfriend" Monica teased, waving back. “How was work?" She asked Rachel, turning back over to her.
"Oh, great. Although, I did sit down where there wasn't a chair" Rachel replied, hanging up her bag and walking over.
"By the way, Ross dropped by a box of your stuff" Monica reminded, turning to quickly point at a white box on the table.
"Oh, well, I guess I had that one coming" Rachel sighed, walking into the living room and around the small table. “I'm just gonna throw it out, it's probably just a bunch of shampoo, and-" she stopped talking when she opened the box, finally seeing whatever was inside.
Confused, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and you all looked over at her, after you quickly reached up to kiss Chandler's neck.
"Something wrong?" Monica asked.
Rachel didn't answer, silently reaching into the box and pulling out a singular, white shirt, which you were just about able to read 'FRANKIE SAYS' on it, not being able to read the last word. Rachel took a deep breath as she stared at it, her hair hiding her smile as he flipped it to read the words on the front. She chuckled blankly, "no, nothing." Rachel turned and walked into her room without saying another word.
You were still confused, so you looked up at Chandler. “Who's Frankie?"
Chandler pursed his lips and dramatically shrugged, mumbling "I don't know.”
***
Chandler and Phoebe sat on the recliners in his apartment, you sitting securely on his lap as Phoebe sat cross-legged and rocked back and fourth in her recliner like a child. “So, uh, what kind of powers would Gold-man have?" Chandler asked, smiling like an excited kid.
"Okay, well, he would turn things to gold" she stated in a straight-forward manner.
"Ooh, ooh, like King Medias from Greek Mythology!" You recalled, fists balling out of joy. You saw the look on Chandler's faced and decided to clear up his confusion by saying "I sorta had a small Greek mythology phase, growing up.”
Chandler nodded, looking back to Phoebe. “What about things that are already gold?" He challenged, eyebrows raising expectantly.
"Ah, his work is done" is all Phoebe returned.Chandler smiled and nodded, adjusting how he sat as he said "okay, let's play my game now.”
"Okay" Phoebe agreed, uncrossing her legs to sit on the chair properly. “Arr, you yellow-bellied, lily-livered...draw!" She called, Chandler and her both pulling up the feet of the recliners.
You giggled as you bounced when Chandler pulled his feet up, your boyfriend sitting up to wrap his arms around you.

Could you do a Chandler Bing x twin sister! Reader where she moves in below them and the rest of the group gets to know her? And maybe, like, Chandler hadn't told any of them about her, so they're all surprised? -&
(a/n): Yes! First time writing for FRIENDS, let’s goooo! Got inspired by one of Thomas Sanders vine for this one, I won’t lie (I can’t find it again, but it’s the one about twins). Hope you like what I did with this imagine! :)
Tumblr media
Every member of the group except for Joey was hanging out in the usual café in their usual seats, discussing some everyday life things since there wasn’t really anything important going on. That is until Joey came running in, a huge grin on its face.
“Chandler, she’s here!”
The sarcastic man can’t help but raise an eyebrow at his best friend. “Who?”
“Yeah, Joe.” Rachel takes a sip of her coffee before continuing. “What are you talking about?”
“There’s a new hot woman who just moved below us.” Joey slightly loses his smile. “But Chandler doesn’t believe me!”
“I’ll believe it when I see it.”
Phoebe snorts. “What? You think he imagined her or something?”
Monica smirks. “Wouldn’t be the first time.”
Everyone nods in agreement, except for Joey who’s pouting at them. “Guys, come on! Why can’t you believe me?”
“Like I said-” Chandler’s sarcastic smile stretches out. “We’ll believe it when we see it.”
“Wait, is she always wearing that (f/c) scarf?”
“Yes!” Joey points at Ross excitedly. “Yes, that’s the one!”
“Oh yeah, I’ve seen her.” The dinosaur man seems to remember some small glimpses of the woman, seeming a little confused. “She seemed oddly familiar though.”
Rachel tilts her head at him. “Do you think you know her?”
“No…” Ross squints his eyes. “That’s what’s weird…”
“Shh! She’s coming!” Joey suddenly comes to sit on the sofa’s arm beside Monica, a panic expression on his face. “Act natural…!”
Just when he says that, everyone looks in the entrance’s place to see a (h/l) (h/c) hair woman come in, a (f/c) scarf wrapped around her neck. Chandler’s eyes seem to widen a little a the sight and a huge smile comes unto his lips.
“(Y/N)!” Everyone seems surprised to see their sarcastic friend stand up and instantly go see the woman, who’s apparently named (Y/N). “I thought you were in France! What are you doing in New York?”
You frown at him before tilting your head in confusion. “Do I know you?”
Chandler slightly loses his smile and lets out an awkward laugh. “You’re not serious, are you? It’s me, Chandler!” You raise an eyebrow at him, which makes him sigh in annoyance. “I’m your twin brother…?”
A huge grin spread out on your face, and Chandler suddenly knows that you were pranking him.
Again.
“I can’t believe you always fall for this one.” Chandler rolls his eyes at you while you put your hand on his shoulder. “How many times will I have to tell you that I’ll never forget you?”
“Maybe if you stopped acting like you are.”
“But it’s fun!”
“Anyway-” He shakes his head, the smile coming back. “What are you doing here?”
“Well, I wanted to spend some time with my twin before I eventually die, so I moved here.” You point at a shocked Joey still sitting on the sofa’s arm. “Didn’t your friend tell you I’m the new hot girl in the building?”
That’s when Chandler notices his friends looking at him with wide eyes and open mouths and he suddenly feels like he wants to hide.
“The hot woman…” Joey points at you before looking back at his best friend. “… is your sister?”
Rachel finishes taking her sip of coffee. “Twin sister.”
Ross squints his eyes at you. “That’s why you looked familiar.”
Phoebe frowns. “Chandler! Why didn’t you tell me you have a twin sister? We could have been the twins without their twins together!”
“I-I don’t understand…” Monica stands up, giving Chandler a hard look before crossing her arms. “Why didn’t you tell us?”
“Yeah, why didn’t I know about this?” Joey crosses his arms too. “You’re my best friend! If I had a twin sister, I would have told you about it!”
“Best friend? I’ve known him since college!” Ross stands up too, pointing at the sarcastic man. “Why has that topic never come up?”
“Hum... well, you see… I-um…”
Chandler suddenly runs out of the café without any explanation, the anxiety having taken the upper hand in his brain. You simply stand there in front of his friends for a few seconds, before you chuckle.
“Excuse my brother, he doesn’t handle pressure very well.” You extend your hand with a smile, waiting for one of them to shake it. “I’m (Y/N) Bing, Chandler’s twin sister. Nice to meet you all.”
Rachel’s the one to shake your hand first. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
You spend the next hours talking with them on the sofas with a cup of coffee in your hands, smiling and laughing along the way. Chandler eventually comes back when he calms down and settles down with you, not having to explain his lack of information about you in the past since you’ve made the little gang forgive him.
Let’s just say you’ll be part of the group now.

Friends 1x12 – The One With the Dozen Lasagnas
In a nutshell: There are twelve lasagnas. Ross learns he’s having a boy. Paolo gets handsy with Phoebe. Chandler and Joey get the foosball table.
Chandler and Joey: Chandler and Joey’s table broke and as they argue who should buy a new one, we get our first insight into how deep their romance goes. First, Chandler suggests that buying a table together might be too big a commitment – classic Chandler – while Joey freaks out when Chandler suggests one of them might move out. He gets overly jealous when Chandler mentions his previous roommate, Kip. They finally agree on buying a foosball table and eating at the sink. Chandler and Joey tell Ross he should make his move on Rachel right after she broke up with Paolo, which is terrible, awful advice.
Monica: Monica cooked a dozen lasagnas. That’s it. We also get a glimpse of Monica’s competitive and obsessive nature when they start playing foosball as she refuses to leave the guys’ apartment until they physically remove her.
Phoebe: Phoebe gets a surprise visit from Paolo at work, and while she’s doing her job – massaging him – Paolo basically assaults her. Phoebe fesses up to the gang, and Ross very over-enthusiastically suggests she should tell Rachel. While his motivation is clearly selfish, he did give her sound advice. For some reason, Phoebe thinks Rachel is going to hate her, but why would she? And how sweet of her to bring cookies before breaking the news to Rachel. I really love how she approached Rachel by admitting that they haven’t known each other that long but that friends are the most important thing in her life and that she never lies, which is sweet but… I’m calling bullshit on it. She does become more and more deceitful as the seasons progress, and we learn later on that she had lied to Monica for a very long time about living with her when she had moved out a long while ago.
Rachel: Rachel is planning a weekend away together with Paolo and wondering where her relationship with him is going since they are way past the fling stage, apparently. As Rachel is packing for her trip with Paolo, Phoebe tells her that he made a pass at her, and Rachel doesn’t take it too well. However, she never questions Phoebe nor does she blame her or believe for a second that Phoebe might have misconstrued the situation. It’s a really nice moment of sisterhood, how they trust each other and support each other and understand that there’s nothing either of them should be sorry for or ashamed of. Rachel decides she needs to take a break from men and figure out what she wants. She ends up blurting out that Ross is having a boy.
Ross: Ross has been reading up on pregnancy and you know what? That is pretty cool of him. I feel like I should apologize every time I say something nice about Ross since he has been named The Worst and there’s so much hatred towards his character. He did make a lot of mistakes, but I don’t think he’s the worst. There are plenty of good things about his character, alright? And I won’t apologize for cutting him some slack when he does something nice. I will, of course, address my issues with his character when I get to that point. Joey brings up the fact that Ross’s child might wonder why he’s not together with Carol and why Carol is living with Susan, and Friends might have done a lot of things wrong when it came to representation, but I kind of appreciate how they never made a big deal of Carol and Susan being a couple. It was just something that was. It definitely was never an issue for Ben, you know? Ben never wondered, like Joey suggested he might, why his mom lived with another woman and his dad lived somewhere else. That was just the family he was born into and that was that. Of course, after I finish writing my defense of Ross, he just purposefully let Susan, who is a vegetarian, eat Monica’s meat lasagna. Ross decides he doesn’t want to know the baby’s sex, and it becomes this whole thing where everybody but him knows. He takes the boys’ advice and decides to talk to Rachel after her break-up with Paolo, but instead of hitting on her, he sort of realizes that what she needs right then is a friend. And I say sort of, because what put him off making a move was her declaring she’s sick of guys. He finally learns that he’s having a boy and his whole freak-out kind of reminds me of the iconic scene when Emily calls and he gives Chandler a lamp.
One Iconic Scene:
It’s not a scene per se, but if the apartments are the seventh character in the show, the foosball table is definitely the eight right?

No rush, but if you're in the mood for another question: pick your one favorite and least favorite season of each of these series :) Charmed, BtVS, Angel, Friends, TVD. I know it's hard to pick just one favorite and one least favorite, so good luck ;)
Charmed
Favourite season: Season 4
What can I say about this season? It’s just brilliant. Although Prue is my favourite character, the aftermath of her death, introduction of Paige and transition to a new trio is handled brilliantly. I love the different dynamic that Paige brings to the show and how Piper and Phoebe’s worlds are completely turned upside down by losing Prue and finding Paige. I love getting to know Paige in episodes like A Knight to Remember and A Paige From the Paige, I adore seeing the process of Piper accepting Prue’s death and embracing Paige and their magic in episodes like Hell Hath No Fury and Lost and Bound. And despite the controversy surrounding the Cole/Source plot, I enjoyed Phoebe’s arc in this season with adapting to becoming the middle sister, getting married and pregnant and suffering the most life-changing, soul-destroying losses imaginable. We even got a Leo-centric episode with Saving Private Leo which finally gave us insight into Leo’s past. Season 4 is a consistently strong season in my opinion (albiet with a weak finale) and episodes like Charmed Again, Hell Hath No Fury, Charmed and Dangerous and Long Live the Queen are some of the most memorable episodes of the series for me. You can read more about why I love season 4 here.
Least favourite season: Season 8
This season is so weak. The show could’ve (and probably should’ve) ended with season 7 so the whole season suffers from a complete lack of direction. All of the characters have already gone full circle with their arcs and development so there’s nowhere new to take them. As a result, they all feel watered down. Phoebe and Paige lose all of their personality and spark, whilst Piper is reduced to a stereotype where her snark and sarcasm is taken to unnecessary levels. Billie and Christy are poor villains for the final show-down and neither actress fits within the show. They steal too much focus from the sisters and since it’s the final season this is the season that should be all about the sisters. In addition, there’s a complete lack of sisterly moments in this season, Darryl is absent and Leo is removed for a large part of the season. Not to mention, Paige and Henry and Phoebe and Coop are rushed romances established simply to give Phoebe and Paige their “happily ever after” for the season finale. Even the final episode is pretty weak. Whilst I appreciate the happy ending, it all seems cheesy and too good to be true, and it’s way too Piper-centric and lacks balance. You can read more about why season 8 is my least favourite here.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Favourite season: Season 2
This season is a solid and a really great season. We have Spike and Drusilla as the best villanous pairing in teleivision history, a brilliant two-parter with a dramatic twist in Surprise and Innocence, the Angelus arc which I never get tired of watching and a strong ending with The Becoming Part 1 and 2. For Passion alone this season deserves to take the number 1 spot, but my love for Angel/Angelus (and Bangel) only adds to how much I love the season.
Least favourite season: Season 7
Whenever I rewatch BTVS, I rarely make it through the final season. It’s just not a good season. I don’t like the direction Buffy and Spike’s relationship is taken in, I dislike the introduction of the Potential Slayers, the after-math of Willow’s dark arc is handled poorly, the Willow/Kennedy romance is rushed and completely forced, The First is a poor final villain to end the series with particularly following villains like the Mayor, Angelus, Spike and Dru. All of the supporting characters (Willow, Xander, Anya, Dawn etc.) are pushed aside and given no real arcs or development. Overall this season is completely forgettable and a very weak end to a brilliant series.
Angel
Favourite season: Season 2
Ah, it’s so hard to choose because it’s a toss-up between season 2 and 3. At this present moment, I’m going to go with season 2. I love Darla’s arc in this season and her dynamic with Angel, it’s also so satisfying to see Dru and Darla wreak havoc together. Angel gets pushed to arguably the darkest place he’s ever been (up until this point) and I love seeing him lose all faith in the world, life and humanity only to then have an epiphany where his entire perspective shifts and he gets absolute clarity. Seeing Cordy, Wes and Gunn go off on their own is great, I love their dynamic and how strong they are in this season. This is also the final season that features Kate, who I really like and think is very underrated. There’s a lot of focus on other minor characters who I love such as Lilah and Lindsey. This is also the season that we get the newest additions to Angel Investigations: Lorne and Fred. Honestly, the end of this season really lets it down for me, but the beginning and middle is so strong with Darla and Angel that it always sits near the top as my favourite season.
Least favourite season: Season 4
This probably won’t come as a surprise to any Angel fans reading this. Season 4 is undoubtedly the worst season of the series. It takes a beautiful, complex, well-developed character in Cordy and completely decimates her. Everything that she is and that fans love her for is stripped away, her agency is removed and she’s hijacked by an evil being who uses her body to commit horrendous acts. Seeing Cordy!Jasmine sleep with Connor will always make me feel physically sick. For Angel to have to witness that and endure the pain of seeing the woman he loves having sex with his adolescent son is disgusting. Overall, the treatment of Cordy and Connor in this season makes me so uncomfortable. Fred and Gunn’s relationship is dismantled to make way for Fred and Wesley, which in my opinion is by far the weaker ship. Even the appearance of Angelus and Faith later on in the season doesn’t make up for the rest of the season. Losing Cordy and Lilah are huge losses that also make this season my least favourite.
Friends
Favourite season: Season 3
This is a great season. Whilst every season of Friends is generally a mixed bag in terms of the quality of episodes, season 3 is pretty consistent. The ensemble feels at its strongest in this season and every episode gives focus to the group as a whole. Ross and Rachel’s relationship is great in this season and their break-up is genuinely heart-breaking; we have Janice this season who I find highly entertaining; Monica and Richard’s relationship which I enjoy (despite being a Mondler shipper) and of course, the chick and duck. Despite this being a sitcom, all of the characters go through genuine development in this season too. Joey gets to experience what it’s like to be on the other side of things when he falls for Kate who plays around with his feelings; Chandler navigates his first serious relationship with Janice where he has to try and overcome his fear of commitment and later deal with the hurt of their break-up; Monica deals with the loss of her first great love in Richard and has to reconsider what she wants from her future; Rachel progresses in her career and tries to establish her own identity and independence for the first time; Ross has to face up to the damage his relationship with Carol has done to him in regards to his jealousy and insecurity. It’s rare that we see character development like this in a sitcom, but season 3 is definitley a strong season for this. There are so many golden episodes from this season: TOW No One’s Ready, TOW the Flashback, TOW the Football and TOW the Morning After.
Least favourite season: Season 9
Lets get this straight, there’s no such thing as a bad season of Friends, however, this is the weasest season in my opinion. I don’t like Chandler’s move to Tulsa, the direction Ross and Rachel’s relationship takes, how Rachel’s feelings for Joey are handled and the two parter TO in Barbados is my least favourite season finale, I really, really don’t like those episodes. I also find that there are quite a lot of episodes in this season that are just plain bad and not funny like TOW the Sharks, TOW Phoebe’s rats and TOW Monica sings just to name a few. Overall, there’s not a single season 9 episode that I could name as being a favourite or even coming close to being on my top favourite episodes list.
The Vampire Diaries
Favourite season: Season 3
This is an easy choice for me (although season 2 is a very close second). I love season 3. It’s the season of the Originals and for that reason I can’t do anything else but love it. Klaus is the best villain and feels like a genuinely terrifying threat to the gang. The overall plot across the season is tight and well executed. Despite my dislike for the triangle, it’s handled amazingly in this season and it’s the only season where I can genuinely appreciate the triangle and the dynamics within it. As a Stelena shipper, I live for the angst between Stefan and Elena in this season and adore every single scene they have together. I also love Stefan’s arc with him being forced to become Klaus’ side-kick to save Damon and then being compelled to turn off his humanity despite how hard he fights against that. It’s a great season for Stefan’s character and shows the complexity of him better than the previous two seasons. Elena is also at her best in this season. Her strength and resillience really shines through and in this season she stops feeling like a by-stander and like someone that’s taking charge of her life and getting shit done. Alaric’s arc is dark and heart-breaking. Caroline and Tyler are strong in this season and they’re one of my favourite TVD ships. However, Klaus and Caroline’s dynamic is intruiging and brings a new flavour to the show. And although I never wanted Elena to become a vampire, the season finale is fantastic and a very strong ending to a brilliant season.
Least favourite season (note that I haven’t watched seasons 7 and 8): Season 5
Urgh, this season is just the worst. It totally retcons the mythology and history of the show with making Stefan a doppelganger. As much as I love Paul’s acting, Silas is such a crappy character. The Travellers are pointless; Damon and Elena’s on-again-off-again relationship is tiresome, the Augustine plot goes no where; the switch from high school to college is bumpy; Stefan is completely sidelined by awful writing choices; the best character on the show (Katherine) is done a huge disservice and her exit from the show is pitiful; Bonnie suffers once again (surprise, surprise); the introduction of Nadia just doesn’t work; there’s stupid scenes and episodes that are present for the sole reason of baiting Stelena shippers (5x04 and 5x18) and the finale is completely dumb. There’s not a single thing I like about this season.
Thanks for asking, lovely!

all of them uwu
This is my contribution to the soft k-pop ask.
1. What k-pop songs make you feel at home?
A song I think of home is “Coming Home” by JJ Project (the subunit with JB and Jinyoung from GOT7). It gives me an urban vibe since I am from a major city myself.
2. What idol(s) do you associate with kindness?
Bang Chan from Stray Kids. I think he’s a little too kind and humble at times, but that’s another story for another time. Another idol I think of is Jeongyeon/Jihyo from Twice; they are sassy but also caring for their members.
3. Has a k-pop song or group helped you through some difficult times? If so, and if you feel comfortable, share how.
A song that’s helped me get through my jobless drought was “That’s Okay” by D.O (Kyungsoo) from EXO. I was going through a time where I was receiving literally no job offers and having money issues with school, so this song consoled me in telling me that there is something better ahead and that everything will be alright; all will be resolved. I had moments of jumping off a building because of the lack of progress in my life (also because my grades sucked ass), yet never doing so, but this song assured me that I will be okay, no matter what happens. After all, we are all in this world for a reason.
4. What idol would you star-gaze with? Why?
I don’t know, maybe Sungjin from Day6. He seems quiet and really cool to talk too; he also looks like he likes to read and learn about the stars. Or Suga from BTS lol.
5. What’s your favorite ballad?
“Shall We?” by Chen from EXO. It makes me reminisce of falling in love all over again. Any Chen song makes me think of the past; they’re so dreamy. “Hurt Road” by Day6 is also another favorite.
6. What was your first k-pop group that you stanned? Why did you stan?
GOT7 because of a music video that popped up on my family’s YouTube recommendation on our TV. My first bias (in both K-pop and the group) was Jinyoung because he has a good sense of style and he was exactly how I imagined a k-pop idol to look like; now it’s Youngjae lol. They’re also funny and have killer tracks I would have never considered listening to until recently (February 2019).
7. Would you rather give or receive a gift from your bias?
I would rather receive a gift.
8. What are some cute nicknames you have for your biases?
Baby boi/Baby girl (depending on the gender of the idol)
9. What idol(s) would you go to an arcade with? Why?
Youngjae (GOT7), J-Hope/Jin (BTS), Dahyun/Sana/Nayeon (Twice) and Lucas (NCT). They’re all so loud for no reason and would cheer for me even if I lose.
10. What are some things you associate with your bias?
Hair dye, tattoos, contact lenses, Italian perfume and fire.
11. What idol(s) would you bake cookies with? Why?
I would like to bake cookies with Rosé from Blackpink. She would be a good friend who I could confess my secrets to. Or Wendy from Red Velvet.
12. What idol(s) would you like to share comfortable silence with? Why?
Mina from Twice. She’s a beautiful human being and I would want to just look at her without saying anything just to admire her poise/grace.
13. What idol(s) would you like to share your favorite food with?
I would pull a Joey Tribbiani* (see bottom for reference) on every other idol with the exception of Momo from Twice. She loves to eat different so I would want to share my food with her.
14. What idol, when they come to mind, makes you feel warm, fuzzy, at home?
Johnny or Bang Chan. IDK they radiate paternal energy and are like father figures in their groups.
15. Which idol would you like to have a long, deep hug with? Why?
Bang Chan (Stray Kids), Baekhyun (EXO) or Seulgi (Red Velvet). They look like they give good hugs.
16. What’s your ideal day with an idol(s)?
Walking around the city and having a nice conversation with them about anything (but it was PG). I had a dream about this lol.
17. What idol(s) would you watch the sunrise with?
Jaehyun from NCT. I don’t know why lol maybe because he looks like a morning person?
18. What idol(s) would you watch the sunset with?
RM from BTS. Same reason as 17, except he looks like a night owl.
19. Has an idol or group said anything that has stuck with you?
Not said, but has done as time progressed. Suho from EXO manages to deal with his crackhead members (*beagle line*) so well by being cool and calm. Additionally, he and his group have managed to be extremely humble in award shows despite being known as one of the best-selling groups in Korea.
20. What idol would you like to spend a rainy day in with? What would you do? (please keep it appropriate lmao)
Ten from NCT. We’d watch romantic comedies, listen to music, clean my house and talk. If it stops raining after a while, we would go shopping.
21. Talk about why you love your bias so much.
I don’t know. He’s loud, super talented, sweet, funny and very clever; he cares so much for his fans to the point where he got a tattoo for them. I didn’t want to follow his group at first, but he’s become my favorite human beings in k-pop because of his radiant personality, visuals and ability to do many things at once. Also, we both have big ears (#bigearsgang).
22. Would you rather go to Disneyland or Everland with your bias? What would you do there?
Disneyland. We’d ride roller coasters, take pictures and eat. I’ve never heard of everland
23. What do you imagine your bias to smell like?
Cologne, specifically something like that Chanel Bleu one guys are wearing, Acqua Di Parma or Versace Eros.
24. What do you wish for your bias group or idol in the future?
I wish that PCY gets all the rest he needs. I wish for his group mates (specifically Jongin/Kai and Baekhyun) to get rest; they don’t need to work all the time for our satisfaction. I remember seeing Suho slowly falling asleep at an award show, so they need rest. Same with GOT7 (@/Jackson)
25. What season do you associate a group or idol with? Why?
BTS, Spring. IDK if it’s because of the fact that they have a song called “Spring Day” or their songs give me an overall spring vibe. Them as people, as well as their songs are fresh, like flowers blooming for the first time in the year.
26. What idol would you like to share childhood stories with?
Honestly, maybe Sorn from CLC. She’s funny and seems like a person who enjoys old stories.
Well, I’m boring b/c I got redundant with the groups. However, here’s my answer to all the questions. ENJOY!
*Joey Tribbiani: In an episode of “Friends”, Joey is telling Phoebe the story of a date he went (who happens to be a friend of Phoebe’s) on and he professes he will not go on a date with her again. He was upset that she (Joey’s date) had take a piece of his food, which tuns out to be fries. Rachel happens to walk in and Phoebe tells his story; Rachel confirms that Joey is like this and has even gotten upset with Rachel’s young daughter Emma because she had taken a few of his grapes, thus his immediate, slightly pathetic yet very iconic: “JOEY DOESN’T SHARE FOOD”.

well somebody has to see this
i spent too long theorising classpects for the friends characters because i hate my chem homework and this is the only way to watch 4 hours of friends and not feel bad about it. feel free to dispute any of these btw. i barely know anything about classpects
Monica Geller - Seer of Time
Monica is incredibly driven and independent throughout the show, and has shown she has trouble knowing when to stop herself from causing harm to herself or others when she becomes dedicated to something, which perhaps could be explained by her hyper-awareness of time and its passing. She still feels overshadowed by her brother, and her break-up with Richard devastated her for months, demonstrating her inability to completely let go of the past. Her organised streak could also be interpreted as efforts to narrow future events into manageable categories to counter the daunting ability of observing the multitude of timelines before they come into existence, perhaps created by her own anxiety.
Ross Geller - Sylph of Light
Excluding his romantic endeavours (seeing as most of the show’s cast is characterised by their personal romances, and to count all of them as significant would likely lead to them all having the same aspect), Ross is shown to be a keeper of knowledge throughout the show, being dedicated enough to collecting data around paleontology that he has a PhD on the subject, and constantly talks about his area of expertise to the other friends and tries to convince them of his point of view (see: Phoebe and Ross’ evolutionary theory argument).
Chandler Bing - Rogue of Doom
Chandler is certainly the most pessimistic friend with exceedingly low self-esteem. He is shown not to care about his job, believing it’s not what he should be doing, to be fated to fail with women and to be incurably socially awkward. His parents divorced when he was a child which affected him forever, and he doesn’t believe he can handle important issues and instead cracks jokes to relieve tension and avoid responsibility. Chandler as a character is surrounded by Doom, but he relies on his friends as equally as they rely on him.
Interestingly, Chandler’s constant joking can be seen as somewhat of an inversion of his aspect, with him being aware that he is kind of a downer, and instead of addressing the Doom present in his life, he creates a front to cope with it. This could be some mutated way of “stealing” Doom away from his life - via constant avoidance.
Rachel Green - Maid of Heart
This is probably the most fitting classpect of all the characters, seeing as Rachel’s journey follows the journey of a Maid of Heart to a T. She begins the show rising to her personal challenge, that being: to forge her own identity. The catalyst for this is, of course, leaving her fiance at the altar to go and live with Monica, and the “You’re a shoe” conversation with her father perfectly demonstrates her casting off the identity that Maids of Heart are often saddled with by others, and beginning a new stage in her life. Rachel is also deeply empathetic toward others, and that coupled with her personal growth throughout the show of her own volition makes her a Maid of Heart without question.
Joey Tribbiani - Knight of Blood
The defining characteristic of Joey Tribbiani is his relationships with others, how easily they can solidify and his use of these relationships for his own benefit. His womanising, though pretty scummy, is a good example of this, seeing as he appears to exploit most of those relationships to be purely transactional, even if the other party feels different. He also constantly banks off of Chandler, eats Monica’s food and generally uses a lot of his connections to benefit himself. However, he seems to make up for his actions by being entertaining and distributing specific wisdoms at crucial times, thus maintaining his bonds with the rest of the six. He even ends the show as the only one outside of a relationship, leaving him open for further exploits in the future.
Phoebe Buffay - Witch of Void
Witch of Void was, to me, the obvious choice for Phoebe right from the start. She has vast knowledge on relatively obscure things (primarily spiritual knowledge, again lending itself to “that which is unseen”), and regularly shares this knowledge with the group, whether they like to hear it or not. She often attaches meaning or significance to unconventional things (see: believing a stray cat was her reincarnated mother) and is frustrated when people don’t agree with her. A great instance of her manipulating of Void is convincing Ross of her point of view, at least to some degree, about the theory of evolution, by casting doubt onto his belief, instead of producing evidence for hers.
And while Phoebe seems very knowledgeable, very little is known about her origins, something she seems dedicated to keeping vague. She mentions small events here and there, but most of the time what happened to her in the vast space between her childhood and the show must be pieced together from what she gives us; we never even learn how she got off the streets.

these aren’t exactly headcanons but i wanna do this so i’m gonna call it a headcanon for lack of a better word! under the cut i’ve written out the reasoning/stories behind all my characters’ tags!
Tumblr media
angie jeremiah: “ someone’s little sister “ -- did i steal this from the f.osters? yes i did. angie’s tag is a reference to her older brother craig who is a famous musician. so, like, her brother is someone. and she’s someone’s little sister. get it??? i don’t think it really like sums her up entirely but i don’t have anything else that sums her up as well so it’s like subpar but it’s the best i got.
Tumblr media
bay huxley: “ girl next door “ -- “the feminine equivalent of the average joe” “a character an ordinary guy kind of male character might have known growing up” “easy to talk to and a good listener” “in a betty and veronica duo, she’s the betty” “the inevitably unlucky childhood friend of the protagonist” bay is, by definitely, perpetually the best friend. she listens. she hears. she’s there. and she’s barely noticed. she exists as background noise in other people’s lives. or at least that’s how she sees herself.
Tumblr media
benji riddle: “ move forward like the seasons “ -- so benji’s a musician and gr.eyson cha.nce is his fc and his vc and benji wrote the song “seasons” about his sister, fay, after her death. so because his main verse on this blog takes place just after fay’s death, this song is really just a summary of where he’s at in life rn because he’s just trying to move forward with his life instead of always looking back because he knows that’s what his sister would want.
Tumblr media
cassidy collins: “ disappointed in myself “ -- cassidy is also a musician and his fc/vc is ale.x wol.ff and he’s literally based on the song disappointed. literally. i literally listened to that song, and i had a nat fc character and i decided to give him a little brother based on that song. so here’s my lil boi cass. if u want insight into his brain just listen to that song. it’s About Him.
Tumblr media
emmy pierce: “ sick of losing soulmates “ -- it’s a do.die song and it’s really just a summary of emmy’s relationship with her (deceased) boyfriend, or rather how she felt after he passed away. leo was definitely her soulmate, but in a way so was her whole group of her’s and leo’s friends, and after he passed she just became very distant from all of them and from the life she used to have so she just feels like she’s lost all her soulmates and she’s sorta afraid of getting close to people because of it
Tumblr media
genevieve samuels: “ my heart looks like a bruise “ -- okay so the full quote can be found here. but basically i chose this because basically all of gen’s experiences with love in the past have been abusive in one way or another, whether it was the older boys who took advantage of her when she was very young, or her high school boyfriend who was literally physically abusive. gen doesn’t have any experience with love that doesn’t hurt her. so her heart is black and blue. ya get it??
Tumblr media
hadley bridges: “ you are missing from me “ -- so in french apparently you don’t say “i miss you” you say “tu me manques” which more accurately translates to “you are missing from me”. i chose this quote for hadley because it sort of sums up the way that hadley misses people. she doesn’t just miss them. she feels like she’s lost herself when she loses her loved ones. as a result she’s never really been her own person. she lost her mother when she was young and she never knew how to grow into her own person, so when she lost her sister in high school, she really didn’t know how to be herself because she feels like something is missing from her.
Tumblr media
joey hughes: “ beauty queen in tears “ -- this is a lor.de lyric from the song tennis court, which has some relevance to joey, but it’s not really the reason why i picked the tag. i really just picked it because i think it’s a perfect summary of what joey is like. she’s not literally a beauty queen (in her main verse), but she sort of has the general aesthetic of one and it’s kinda the way other people view her but she’s also just devastatingly sad. so it’s like her two sides summed up in one little lyric
Tumblr media
juliet jacobs: “ a rose by any other name “ -- okay so i think this one is uhh kinda obvious. it’s an excerpt from romeo and juliet and her name is juliet. but also!! it’s perfect for her!! juliet’s adopted so it’s kinda this poetic commentary on like the fact that she’s juliet jacobs because she was adopted by the jacobs and they named her that but her bio family’s name for her was phoebe (gallagher) and i’ve played her as phoebe as well, and the point is that she’s the rose, and by any other name, she’s still herself. slightly different. but still herself. so yeah. what’s in a name? that which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet.
Tumblr media
kc gilmore: “ hard liquor mixed with a bit of intellect “ -- i’ve gone through many tags for kc before finally settling on this one. the perfect one. it’s a har.ry styl.es lyric. and it sums of kc’s two biggest traits: he’s a party boy and he’s super fucking smart. it’s really that simple. also in that song theres the whole “i’m having your baby its none of your business” thing which is also weirdly relevant to kc
Tumblr media
lucas wild: “ just another la devotee “ -- okay this one isn’t really perfect and honestly lukes old tag (one man show) is probably more accurate to him, but i wanted to switch things up. i really just picked this lyric because lucas loves movies and acting so he’s an la devotee. it’s not that deep.
Tumblr media
ophelia jacobs: “ lay me down in a bed of roses “ -- a few things! so first, it matches her sister’s tag with the whole roses reference. second, it’s from the song “if i die young” which always reminded me of ophelia (like from ham.let). which brings us to third, which is that the song is about death and ophelia’s whole life story is really deeply intwined with death and the death of loved ones in particular. so while ophelia herself doesn’t fit the song because she has very little in common with her namesake (in fact it always bothered her that her parents named both her and her sister after girls who killed themselves over boys), she does have the experience of love that ends in death.
Tumblr media
wren stilinski: “ we long for legend “ -- tbh i don’t remember where this came from originally but it was a quote about belief and wren is a textbook Believer in the supernatural (even in verses where the supernatural really doesn’t exist) so she Longs for Legend. idk. it’s really simple. that’s all folks.
