Just the idea of clone Danny and clone Talia working out much bette then him and Talia would confuse poor Bruce. And best part all 4 of them don'T believe he is batman Danny: "We know he is your Sugarbaby, Mom and dad talked about it." Clone Talia:" So no fear, my OG liked a Himbo. And well Danny is a one too."
FR THO AND THEN THERE’S BABY DAMES IN THE CORNER SWEATING BECAUSE HE KNOWS. HE KNOWS. THE LoA TOLD HIM. He’s not saying SHIT though because this is hilarious. He’s silently laughing in the corner. And yessss Clone Danny and Clone Talia working out much better is exactly why I thought of it -- because one its funny and two the potential angst. the could have been.
It doesn't ever occur to Bruce to tell them he's batman but that conversation still comes up during mealtime one day while Danny's recovering (he has to be tied to his chair because he found the gym and nearly dislocated his shoulder trying to train. Dammit Danny your bones are made of glass right now from destabilizing, let your cells repair before doing anything!) because the four of them were talking about Batman and his clan of kids.
Danny, frowning: im not a himbo?
Nasra: reportedly when you first met Damian, your first response to his attacking you was to... grab the blade with your hands, multiple times. This resulted in you slicing a nerve in both hands and permanently weakening your fine motor control.
Danny: well--
Nasra: even now you're rubbing your palms, you only do that when your hands are bothering you.
Damian, snapping his head up: what!?
Danny: you noticed that?? also i learned. I didn't repeat myself when you attacked me when we met, did I?
Nasra: i. suppose not. you're still a himbo, however.
also Danny does his usual 'run on negative sleep' bullshit while in the manor except now he has not only damian but also Nasra tag-teaming his bullshit. Like no, Danny. you need sleep to recover your strength. your ghostly investigation can wait until you're not about to pass out and break your nose on your laptop. They have whole ass arguments in arabic - all three of them - as damian AND nasra drag danny to the closest soft horizontal surface. Danny returns the favor to the both of them when those two are also doing their 'negative sleep' stuff.
Dick at bby Dames: so do you....
Damian: know that you guys are Batman and his family? Yeah. Grandfather and Mother told me before I was living with Danny.
Tim: how come Danny and Nasra don't know then?
Damian: I didn't think it was important to tell Danny that his original was Batman. He does know of the League, however. He calls Grandfather my "super evil, ecofascist grampa and his cult of killers" and doesn't want to know more out of worry of needing to get involved.
Dick: I - really?
Damian: yes, he figured that since grandfather had yet to successfully wipe out my original, then that whatever Damian Wayne was doing was working. And that if he knew more, then he might have to get involved, and he has own problems to worry about than the League of Assassins.

Omg!!!!!!
Haiii!!!! Elloo!!!
Im back with your semi annual Robo Mace wip :0000
Finally was able to expand upon an idea cooking in my mind for a good bit which was a kinda battle mask (Basically whenever conflict is engaged their “human” mouth would be covered with this extravagant layer o’ metal to protect em!)
Practical considering they’re mostly made up of metal?
Absolutely not
Cool?
ABSOLUTELY
Anyways thats literally the whole wip.
Ive redrawn that same pose like five million times on different canvases with every attempt so ive made like zero progress 💀
But now that I have your attention I wanted to expand on Mace’s lore cuz I feel like it and I think i promised to make a post about it
So.
I dont know about any of you you guys-
I personally feel like Darcy the core and Alderitch coulda be so much cooler!
Like dont get me wrong. I like Darcy design wise! They’ve literally been living in my head rent free ever since their first teaser! (It’s a blessing and a curse please send help hshshHahabbfnsuaha)
But I personally feel like plot wise they were kinda lacking :(
And the idea of a bucha a n c i e n t newts consciousnesses invading a 13/14 year old kids mind forcefully is kinda…gross.
So.
I was brainstorming and came up with this:
When the core was first teased. Back in the ye olde days in the pre True colors when the fandom called it the Night-
Im not the only one that thought it was some sorta god right?
A giant mass of orange eyes that a powerful King that ruled for thousands of years kneels down to and calls “Master?”
Idk about you but that gives off omnipotent eldritch horror vibes to me.
So I basically took that concept and expanded upon that and incorporated bits of the lore that Andrias dropped about his kind.
Specifically about how he said that his kind were conquerers.
Why?
Sure. It could purely be a generational trauma thing.
His father did it. His father’s father did it. And his father’s father’s father did it as well.
That could be the end of it.
No one really knows why they conquer and enslave races other than “tradition.”
Maybe Andrias only mentions it all is so he can bask in his triumph. To feel a deluded sense of pride in his lineage for finally being able to continue the work of his forefathers after thousands of years of resentment and regret planted in his mind by his own father that twisted and corrupted his perception on reality.
Maybe Matt just thought those sequences up on the spot and they sorta made sense.
Theres alotta maybes and to my knowledge thats about the extent of it
But im not satisfied with that
So I took that concept. The conquering inter dimensional newts and elevated it.
The core was never a series of Newtopia’s “greatest minds.”
It was always an omnipotent being.
An all seeing all knowing all powerful elderitch horror that is always hungry.
Thats why Andrias’ ancestors invaded other worlds!
Whether it was out of fear or necessity or a deal made with the devil
The reason they invaded is because the core is always hungry. And it needed to feed. So they sacrificed whole worlds to the core just to satiate its ravenous appetite.
And it would explain why in the last season Amphibia was being siphoned for all its resources
Not only was it for the factories, the frobo army, and the mind control devices
It was to stave off the cores hunger until the invasion of earth could surpass
And I didnt forget about all those newts that died and had their brain transferred to the core originally oh nonono
They still sacrificed themselves. But not to join the core or become anything greater. Despite what they believed or what they were promised by the core, Alderitch and all those newts who made up the canon core were nothing more than willing sacrifices to the cores endless hunger. They realistically died for nothing.
So. With this concept/au/rewrite/whatever solves alot of the inconsistencies in the plot and also gets rid of the gross old newts in 13 year olds brain plot
Lemme know what you think of this concept! Im open to criticism and any ideas anyone is willing to share and will do my best to respond to em!

Arthurs’ a big history nerd and you can’t convince me otherwise ‼️
Why?? did he know so much about Carleon’s attack and retreat in ‘Castle of Fyrien’
And then he proceeded to happily geek out about it for Gwen 💀 (kinda adorable ngl)
Also he’s just generally very well-versed in Camelot history, ex: the deleted scene in s4ep1 where he just goes off! about the citadel of Daobeth with only minor prompting from Merlin
Exposition King 😌✨
And how does he seem be the kingdom-wide #1 expert on Wilddeoren? Hmm??
I rest my case

I feel like being a hater real quick so bear with me. A defense I sometimes see for Tom King's Mister Miracle is that most people who read it probably don't know much about Mister Miracle or the Fourth World as a whole, so they don't see the major flaws in it. Like if you don't know Orion you don't know King massacres his character. If you haven't read the original New Gods series you can't be mad about the way King deforms its anti-war messaging or misconstrues Highfather's character. You can't be mad about the way the Forever People are uncerimoniously killed off screen if you don't know who they are. You can't see just how far King deviates thematically from every other Mister Miracle series if you've never read them. So the argument is that Tom King's Mister Miracle is good, provided you don't know anything about the characters or world, which is where all the praise for the series comes from.
But. And I'm sorry in advance for sounding like a complete tool. It's not?? Like even without any prior knowledge of the source material, King's Mister Miracle is mediocre at best.
King's Mister Miracle hinges on the shock factor its brutal scenes and heavy subject matter has. Yes, it's good at portraying horrific scenes in visceral detail - it opens with a graphic suicide attempt that is undoubtedly shocking, its portrayal of mental health issues and trauma is visceral, its scenes of warfare and torture horrific. But being shocking, visceral, and horrific does not make you interesting. It does not make you good.
Because beneath the graphic gore, the thematic core of the series is childish. King's understanding of the philosophies and ethics he discusses is rudimentary at best. The series has nothing interesting to say about the ethics of war - or at least, nothing that other works of literarure haven't said in far more interesting ways.
Its treatment of utilitarianism specifically really sticks in my mind. The question of idealism vs utilitarianism is discussed, but never on a level deeper than you can find on Wikipedia. It is treated as a flat conflict of ideologies; Highfather, on the side of utilitarianism, sacrificing Scott to Darkseid, vs Scott, on the side of idealism, refusing to do so and escaping the trap.
But that is a fundamental simplification of the actual events portrayed in Kirby's New Gods, where Highfather, far from a utilitarian, was actually fueled by a deeply held ideal. His decision to give up Scott wasn't a 'the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few' situation - 'the greater good' never comes up. It was Highfather sacrificing all he had left - the son of his wife, for whose sake he'd started this war to begin with - for what he believed in: peace. He only became Highfather once he achieved this ideal, the belief in peace, the belief that war must not last forever. He did not sacrifice Scott in a game of numbers; he did not calculate that the happiness of one was outweighed by the happiness of thousands, millions even. It wasn't about the numbers. It was about the ideal.
And when you actually came down to it, it wasn't even, truly, a sacrifice: it was a trade. A trade of two sons. For Highfather, this was a sacrifice that it wasn't for Darkseid, but this wasn't Agamemnon leading Iphigenia to the slaughter by will of the gods; as he traded Scott into hell, Highfather saved another, gave Orion the chance at a good life that he never could've gotten on Apokolips. He gave Orion the choice to be good, and Orion took it.
Does that mean Scott's trade was justified? Does that mean that the ideal of peace - achieved for a time and instilled in a young soul who never would've encountered it otherwise - was worth it? Was Scott's trade a moral one? Maybe! All Kirby's book tells you is that war cannot go on forever. How to approach that is up to you.
None of that is anything you'd think of if King's Mister Miracle was your first foray into the Fourth World. But these layers of complexity are completely absent from King's Mister Miracle. There is a right choice in King's world, unambiguously, and it wasn't trading Jacob. The topic of utilitarianism is discussed with a random cashier who spouts a textbook definition, and the book doesn't dig futher, delve into the difference between utilitarianism and consequentialism, for example. Jacob wouldn't have been traded for another life, another young soul, but for a weapon. King's Mister Miracle does not engage with the true complexities of ethics here; it simply has Scott escape the trade, winning unamiguously, but the war continues, as it always will. Even the world's greatest escape artist can't escape from the neverending war.
Jacob's trade was not justified. The war will never end. These are unambiguous truths in King's Mister Miracle.
I know jack shit about ethics. I am almost positive my definition of idealism here is wrong or, at the very least, oversimplified. The extent of my knowledge lies in my fucking high school ethics class.
I am still not exaggerating when I say said high school course on war ethics still provided more depth than King's Mister Miracle. My high school essay provided more depth. King's Mister Miracle waxes poetically about the complexities of war while showing extremely black and white views on ethics, its moral quandries having obvious correct answers the narrative goes out of its way to facilitate.
In King's Mister Miracle, you can never win the war, but you can, somehow, fight it ethically. Negotiations are doomed to fail. Peace will never last. War is hell, a string of violent injuries, torture, and depravity. But the ethical questions have a right and a wrong answer. You can't win at war, but you can win at ethics.
In King's Mister Miracle, nothing in war is good, but, simultaneously, its ethics are black and white. It's an edgy teenager's view of war. Or, perhaps more accurately: a CIA agent's.
