Konoha 12 Domestic/Spousal Headcanons

Tags/Warnings: No Reader Pronouns, Boruto Doesn't Exist, No Mentions of Children/Adoption

𓆃 Choji

THE BEST COOK ON THIS LIST NO ONE CAN COMPARE

Loves bonding over cooking and baking— whatever you like! If there's anything you're ever craving, Choji is taking to the kitchen to make you a gourmet meal as good as any professional chef!

Prime rib, lamb, tartare, croissants, macarons, soups! It doesn't matter your allergies or preferences, Choji can and will make you any food your heart desires.

Offers excellent cuddles. 11/10 squishy and soft.

Is very understanding, a fantastic listener, and naturally positive.

Never lets the romance l die, and after a hard day at work, will feed you ice cream while you rant about your day.

𓆃 Hinata

Traditional wife who has always wanted to be a traditional wife since she was a kid.

Content with cooking, doing laundry, and other domestic work.

Although, because of the society and the way she was brought up, she might feel insecure transitioning out of shinobi life.

While being made to feel weak isn't something Hinata is a stranger to, she is sensitive to comments from others about her domestic life.

Be sure to give her lot of reassurance and validate her work around the house.

𓆃 Ino

Also wanted to be a wife growing up, but the stay-at-home life is clearly not for her.

She'll try it for a period of time after your wedding or union, but she's far too restless for cooking and cleaning.

You supposed that she thought it would be relaxing and aesthetic, but if anything, she's getting frustrated and throwing the potato across the kitchen as soon as it slips out of her hand.

Ino will eventually find important work to do, come home to complain about it over dinner, and buy you something nice in a half-brag about how much more money she's making.

This is, of course, not to say she's bad at housework or doesn't do her share. She's perfectly good at domestic work and does the bulk of it, but the moment you expect it from her is the moment she stops.

𓆃 Kiba

A slob who, if allowed, will live in heaps of trash.

For the bulk of his 20s, he'll be super unsure of the whole settling down thing. You could make a whole bingo chart out of the cliche bachelor lines he spouts.

I'm not really a marriage kinda guy. I don't wanna tie myself down to a ball and chain. I just wanna meet people. I'm looking for someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously. Nah, I'm not looking for a relationship.

That is... until one day he wakes up and desperately wants a family of his own. To an extreme extent. Like his expectations are absolutely insane.

As a husband, you'll need to reevaluate those and have a nice long chat because at the beginning of your relationship he will certainly not be pulling his weight.

𓆃 Lee

Sweet, clingy, loving and sincere man.

Ah, you are the sun, the moon, and the world to Lee. He is constantly thinking of or doing the sweetest possible thing he possibly could for you at any given hour of the day.

Is his execution great? You'd give it a 50/50. Does he ever take a break? NO.

Whether it's breakfast in bed or going on a grocery run to get it off your plate, you're sure to have to put out one fire and learn how to use 20 carrots in your meal prep for the week.

He really tries his best, he just gets a little excited.

𓆃 Naruto

Another slob, although well intended.

Naruto never had a formal family growing up, and so he has little ideas of what's expected.

Much of his idea of what a partnership should be comes from media or stupid things that Shikamaru probably told him on the playground growing up, so you'll have to work together as a team to set expectations.

A lot of what he does for you is in his language (you have to learn that him making you both ramen cups is indeed a romantic gesture for him), but he loves exploring things that you like!

Naruto explores your likes and hobbies in a very genuine and non-performative way. Sharing things you enjoy together will be the foundation of your relationship.

𓆃 Neji

You'll spend your first year of marriage focused heavily on strict boundaries, expectations, and other couples work.

The way Neji was brought up completely fractured his sense of family. Not to mention, no matter what you're like Neji will certainly have to fight with his family in a silent battle over clan politics.

Because even though the Hyuga clan has stopped certain practices, doesn't mean that everyone in the clan is in mutual agreement or share similar attitudes with each other.

This will be a marriage built on structure and meaningful confrontation. Neji is determined to break the cycles of his family to make a healthy life with you.

𓆃 Sakura

Wasn't sure if she'd end up with a partner. She really wanted it, but with everything that happened in her life, she had her doubts.

Most definitely too hard on herself. Sakura pushes herself to almost fall over you to ensure you're pleased. Whether it's housework or cooking, there's a part of her that feels the need to prove her work ethic.

It's the small things with Sakura. Even after a long day at work, she'll still bring you your favorite home for dinner, even if the place is out of the way. She'll stay up an hour later to spend time with you even if she has an early morning.

𓆃 Sasuke

An ironic mix between Naruto and Sakura.

As a kid, Sasuke 100% wanted to be a husband when he grew up. 100% wanted to have a spouse to provide for and had similar dreams that some kids often do when they think about families.

But after the Uchiha Tragedy, much of Sasuke's outlook about his future has been skewed. Any relationship will start off as rather unstable and you can almost count on Sasuke being emotionally distant

It's about how the two of you work through his baggage and his willingness to be vulnerable.

𓆃 Shikamaru

Surprisingly well-adjusted?

He knows how to do basic life skills. Pulls his weight and sometimes even does your tasks. Shikamaru is generally clean and organized.

Where's the problem? He's terrified of commitment.

Most of the relationships in the Nara clan seem to consist of passive Nara men with verbose spouses who have no issue bossing their partners around.

But at the same time, Shikamaru doesn't mind this dynamic. He wants to laze, but he's also almost seemingly afraid of dynamics that allow him to laze.

He'll be just fine around the house, just a bit dramatic if you ever ask him to do anything. He'll get over it.

𓆃 Shino

Great husband and great family to marry into.

Just overall very balanced, if not quiet. The Aburame clan is close, but respectful of each other. You'll never have to deal with nagging in-laws because Shibi has already taken you in as one of his own.

Enjoy fresh meals of produce expertly tended to from the garden.

While Shino has his more talkative side when it comes to people he's close to, he's still quiet by nature. Don't expect that to change just because you've gotten married.

The obvious con is the massive amount of insects that will constantly be around you. You're not allowed to trap them or kill them.

You will have to get used to bugs crawling on you.

𓆃 Tenten

You're always doing something crazy.

You don't think any of the other Konoha 12 ever expected that Tenten would have the most exciting marriage, but look at her now.

You're always innovating, making new things for her business, and taking spontaneous trips to check out crafting techniques.

Anything and everything you set your mind to, you support each other in. There are ten million projects scattered around your home.

You roll up to get-togethers (when they seldom happen), being the most traveled and bringing the most unique gifts.

No one knows what you're going to be up to next.

Naruto Love Languages (Konoha 12 + Sand Siblings)

Naruto Uzumaki - Words of Affirmation

This man is your #1 fan. Everything you do he is behind you cheering and hollering the whole way. It doesn't matter if it's something stupid like trying to do a bottle flip, Naruto is gonna hype you up. He just adores you so much and wants you to know that! He wants you to know that he believes in you fully. When he isn't being a hype man, Naruto is just genuinely complimenting you and showing his appreciation for all you do. Nothing you do will go unnoticed, you WILL feel this man's love

Sasuke Uchiha - Gift Giving

Sasuke is, uh... kinda rough when it comes to romance. He's gone through some shit and even after all these years doesn't quite know how to deal with it. He isn't good at words, is wary on physical contact, and isn't around often. But the one thing he succeeds in is giving you gifts. Everytime he leaves to go who knows where, he will always return with an incredibly thoughtful gift. Sasuke doesn't just grab whatever he see, he knows what you like and what you appreciate. Every gift he gives you has meaning and fits you perfectly

Sakura Haruno - Acts of Service

Sakura is a girl who heavily desires to be loved. Ever since she was a child she was a hopeless romantic, so when she finally got together with you she fell head over heels. She's quite open with her feelings for you both physically and vocally, but her favorite way to show she cares is by helping you around the house. She'll cook for you, help clean up, give you massages, and of course heal your wounds. As long as you are dating her you will never see another Medical-nin. Every injury you get will be treated by her with full seriousness (even if it's just a paper cut)

Sai - Gift Giving

You though SASUKE was bad with feelings? Dear lord you gotta have a lot of patience with Sai. Unlike Sasuke though, Sai tries his hardest, even if it's a bit rough. He tries to say nice things and touch you, but it's still incredibly foreign to him (not to mention he can get a bit brutally honest about some things). The only thing Sai is confident in is his gift giving skills. He loves to draw art for you, pretty much everything he sees inspires more art to give you. It's gotten to the point that you have a whole room filled with them (Sai keeps telling you it's okay to get rid of some, but you refuse! They are so pretty!). On special occassions, Sai loves to bring his drawings for you to life, enjoying the look of amazement on your face

Ino Yamanaka - Gift Giving

This girl is gonna treat you RIGHT, believe that! She's is incredibly open with her feelings, especially when it comes to flowers. You will be getting flowers for every occassion, sometimes just randomly. She'll buy you other gifts like jewelry and clothes and books, but her real love language is flowers. Her bouquets aren't just randomly put together either, Ino carefully hand picks each one and take in mind the meaning of each one. The longer you date you will soon learn the different meanings, which makes her so proud. Although she doesn't really expect anything back every time, make sure to get her a lil something for special occassions, she'll appreciate it~

Shikamaru Nara - Quality Time

We know Shikamaru is a lazy bitch, but that's what we love about him! He may seem distant and seemingly uncaring, but if you look closely you can clearly see how he shows affection. Sure he may not wash you with praises or get you expensive things, but he stays by your side. Always. Somehow he always is in the same room as you, even if you are doing two different things. You're always together in some sort. He'll definitely deny it, but you notice he doesn't leave still. It's kind of like a cat, ya know? Shikamaru gets especially clingy when you're in bed together. This man doesn't get up for hours, and you aren't getting up either. You will lay and sleep with him for 3 more hours, no discussion

Choji Akimichi - Acts of Service

Just... just so sweet. My boy is such a sweetie oh my god. Choji is quite nervous in your relationship, both due to low self-esteem and just anxiety in general. Just you surprising him with a hug is enough to fluster him for a solid minute. Since more direct ways get him anxious, Choji prefers to do things for you, and his favorite thing is to cook for you. This man can COOK like no one's business! You guys will go out to eat on the weekends (there is nothing like fresh barbecue), but through the week he is in the kitchen cooking your favorite meals full of love. Seeing your giant smile and hearing your satisifed eating makes his heart soar. Also, you are one of the only people who he'll always share his snacks with, no hesitation (the other is Shikamaru, obviously)

Kiba Inuzuka - Physical Touch

Kiba is a toucher, hands down. He LOVES to just touch you all over. He is always in contact with you no matter what, appropriate or otherwise. Hands on your waist, head on your shoulder, fingers in your hair, sometimes he will just randomly pick you up to get a reaction out of you. Let's be real, Kiba's a dog through and through, and dogs adore attention. Whenever he wants your attention or love, Kiba will poke you and bug you until you give in and cuddle with him. Spooning is his absolute favorite position. Give this man his head pats and belly rubs god dammit, and don't forget Akamaru!. Oh and uh, warning, this man is also perverted. Quite perverted. Your cuddle sessions will devolve into him dry humping you 50% of the time. You gonna get manhandled and groped quite a bit (every touch full of love <3)

Hinata Hyuga - Words of Affirmation

You thought Choji was shy? You haven't seen nothing yet. Hinata was already a sweating mess when you were just friends, the moment you asked her out she literally fainted and collapsed on the floor. Thankfully she is better now (and didn't get brain damage), but it's still nerve-wracking to be in a relationship with you. You're just so... perfect. And Hinata wants you to know that. Throughout the day she is normally very sweet and appreciative, but whenever you are on dates or cuddling in private, she lets all her feelings out. She shares her admiration for you, her appreciation for you, and just how happy she is to have you in her life. It always makes you cry, which makes Hinata feel bad, but you always assure her they are happy tears

Shino Aburame - Acts of Service

Shino is a man of little words, and you knew that going into a relationship, so you have no issues with that! It makes the times he does speak up mean even more. Since he's inexperienced with relationships and romantic gestures, Shino's main way to show he cares is by protecting you and keeping you safe. He always is ready to defend you in public, and whenever you go somewhere alone he gives you one of his bugs so he can know you're safe. Anyone who even tries to harass or injure you is getting shot down immedietely. Losing you or you getting hurt is one of his biggest fears, and he'll never let that happen. You'll never feel unsafe when Shino is around

Rock Lee - All of Them

You can call this a cop out, but let's be real, Lee is the embodiment of EVERY love language. He never stops gushing to you about your beauty and skills, and screams how much he loves you from the rooftops. Anything you ask him to do will be done in record time perfectly. He loves to give you extravagent gifts for your anniversaries and random occasions. Spending time with you is his favorite thing in the world, especially when you train together. And physical touch? He is always happy to hug and kiss you all over. Lee is just full of love for you!! He knows he can be a bit overwhelming at times and will calm down if you tell him. He just is so grateful to have you in his life, and wants you to know that every day for the rest of your life

Neji Hyuga - Words of Affirmation

It may come as a shock to most due to his sharp tongue, but the way Neji shows his love is by words. To most he is aggressive and stand-offish, and ocassionally is to you too. It's just how he is unfortunately. But unlike with others, he is noticabely incredibly soft with you and is much more open. Neji isn't afraid to compliment how you look or give praise when you succeed at something. Even when he gets annoyed he doesn't raise his voice or throw insults at you, he stays respectful. The fact that he calls everyone an idiot except you says a whoooole lot about how he feels about you. Wear that honor with pride

Tenten - Quality Time

Tenten is pretty easy going and prefers a partner who is the same. Of course some spice and excitement is greatly welcomed, but at the end of the day she just wants to sit back and relax with her partner. So spending time together means a lot to her. She loves going on dates where you guys try something new (just no long hikes, please) but if needed will default to the local weapon museum. By the way, everytime one of you has to go on a mission, Tenten will act cool but will secretly pout the whole time until you meet up again

Gaara - Physical Touch

As he's grown, Gaara has turned into a real sweetheart. With you he is incredibly gentle and cares for you deeply. You are his treasure, you deserve the world. He still is dealing with social anxiety, and can be a bit awkward sometimes. But Gaara is always comfortable touching and holding you. His touches are gentle and kind, and sensual when he wants. He likes to give gentle kisses all over you throughout the day, and whenever he leaves for work he gives you a loving kiss before he leaves. Gaara also really values cuddling together. This man is touch starved like no one else, everytime you hold eachother he feels like a part of him is healing. Please reciprocate, he deserves it

Temari - Words of Affirmation

Temari is fiery as hell, and you knew that the moment you met. And her words are just as sharp! She isn't afraid to tell off people who annoy you guys (especially when you are on dates, they are DEAD). With you she is still mildly aggressive and intense, but in a more lighthearted way. She just gets so worried about you, she can't help herself from scolding you for being an idiot. Every word she says (positive or negative) comes from the heart. When you manage to not be a fool Temari is vocalising her approval and pride. Oh, and she has a habit of openly bragging about how amazing you are to your peers (much to your embarrassment)

Kankuro - Quality Time

This man is a teeeeeease (in a good way or bad way, your decision). He is constantly joking and making fun of you, reveling in your cute annoyance. He even likes to annoy you physically like blowing on your neck or pinching your butt. Kankuro is quite playful pretty much 95% of the time, but the other 5% he's actually quite sweet. Spending time with you is his favorite thing in the world! Yeah it's fun messing with you, but he likes to just have genuine connections and going on more mature dates. His favorite thing is dancing surprisingly, and he honestly is quite good. Holding you close and swaying makes him content ... Until he sneaks in one of his puppets halfway through, scaring the shit out of you in the process (he slept on the couch but it was worth it)

Imagine that you are attending college, your new boyfriend is sitting next to you, your relationship is relatively new and delicate. In fact, you are just starting to get to know each other better and discover each other. Your boyfriend looks a bit like a nerd with those cute glasses decorating his face, he seems so gentle with you and takes his time. But what a naive girl you are to think that his thoughts are as pure as his heart. He sits next to you during the lecture and listens to the professor, occasionally writing something down in his notebook and laptop. Out of the corner of his eye, he glances at his sweet girlfriend who is very focused on what the professor is saying, nibbling on her pen as she puts it in those plump lips. (Figuring out a way to write the title out was complicated for no reason, anyways this is basically just the 'who fell first and who fell harder' thing. Also Naruto, Sasuke, Choji, and Lee aren't included, and Sai is included. I would call it Konoha 13 but since I'm writing for 9 of the characters, ig it just makes sense for me to call it Konoha 11 instead of 13 since it's less)

Studio Pierrot is biased and openly favours hinata.

SP’s director’s and many animator’s favourite waifu is hinata and they aren’t ashamed to flatter her.

One of many examples: Studio Pierrot changes hinata to make her more stereotypically attractive and feminine.

They also are simultaneously making Sakura uglier and exclude other girls like Ino,Tenten and Karin from most fillers,but this topic itself is worth a whole different post.

I can already hear hinata fans barking:

Honestly prefers her S/O being aloof as she cannot handle 24/7 compliments. She can hardly handle you suddenly giving her a compliment and not being ashamed or apologetic about it.

Does wish you were a bit more open with her. Just more friendly instead of being so distant.

She’s used to a lot of her family being distant from her and would like someone she could talk to, but she supposes this is something she’s used to.

Ino

A bit pouty with how aloof you are. Sure she enjoyed it when it was Sasuke because it felt like something she could never have.

But you and her are already dating. Why are you still so distant and cold towards her??

Yeah you can make up for it with your comments and being serious with how much you love her. But she wishes you’d be a bit more nice to her.

Kurenai

Doesn’t mind you being aloof too much. It is how you should be as a ninja, don’t let your emotions show or an enemy would use it against you.

She appreciates when you tell her your feelings towards her. It’s nice that you aren’t bashful with telling her either.

She tries to be just as matter-of-fact with her own feelings towards you, but she can’t help but feel a bit flustered.

Sakura

Also a bit pouty because you are so closed off from her. She understands needing to keep your feelings in check when on the battlefield, but when it’s just the two of you, she wishes you were more clingy.

Depending on her mood, she might just roll her eyes if you compliment her like that. You could at least sound more enthusiastic instead of monotone. Even Sai does a better job and he’s lying most of the time.

But she knows that’s just a quirk of yours and so she does her best to be upfront about her own feelings towards you.

𓆃 Choji - Body Image

Easily the best at knowing what to say. He’s been struggling with his body image his entire life and has a wonderful grasp on what health specific to his clan looks like.

Choji strives to make topics surrounding weight and body shape normal and neutral in the household, so if you're asking about weight, it’s because some other stupid kid said something.

You are always reminded of your spirit, skills, and capacity for kindness rather than your looks.

Choji ensures that your home is a positive and safe place to talk about anything.

𓆃 Hinata - Finding a Voice

Hinata has always been a very patient person and knows how hard it is to break out of one’s shell. As a parent, she provides a space for you to be heard and to feel safe.

Hinata believes that you can’t force things when it comes to your growth and tries to nurture you until you have the strength to do it on your own.

Not to say that she doesn’t give a little push now and then. Hinata herself always regretted the amount of time it took for her to take chances and be vulnerable with friends, so she gives gentle nudges and reassurance when she can.

𓆃 Ino - Normalcy and Loss

A part of Ino always wanted to be a normal girl. There was a balance between civilian life and shinobi life that she couldn’t quite strike, especially when responsibility was thrust onto her so young.

She’ll want to go out with you often, whether it’s getting sweet drinks, getting your nails painted, asking for the friend-group gossip, or other fun activities.

A part of her craves getting more of those experiences in her youth, but she very much wants you to have those experiences for yourself and to have a consistent parent who “gets you.”

She definitely tries too hard at times— it’s embarrassing sometimes— but she means well.

𓆃 Kiba - Bein’ a Guy

Kiba always had a loud bark, but when it came down to it, he didn’t meet all the goals he intended to meet.

Being the energetic guy he is, he will be rooting for you from day one. Sometimes, you feel he gets more excited about projects and accomplishments than you.

Kiba is always celebrating you and always bragging about you. He’s proud of you that you have goals— big or small— but more than anything, he wants you to live your life in a way that makes you happy.

If you’re happy, Kiba is dragging you out for celebratory ice cream.

𓆃 Lee - Bullying and Inadequacy

Ehm. I mean, he means well?

You see, Gai took a very tough love approach with Lee meaning that Lee thinks if you push hard enough, you’ll find fulfillment... and that’s not for everyone.

He’s also not great with his words. Every so often, he’ll say something encouraging, but sometimes he’s just emotionally clueless.

If anything, you’ll always be celebrated for your uniqueness and what makes you you.

Lee genuinely wants only what’s best for you; his pure intentions are always clear.

𓆃 Naruto - Isolation

Poor Naruto, seeing you isolated would probably make him so sad. And angry, for that matter! Naruto isn’t above punting some jerk kid who made you mad (which probably isn’t great for the Hokage).

He’s a little goofy in the sense that he’ll probably take an over-interest in the things you enjoy. He’ll insist that you do things that interest you together.

He’s also really into pep talks and giving unsolicited advice (that probably isn’t really that great).

Naruto would totally give you pocket money to enjoy a meal if he’s busy.

𓆃 Neji - Unfair Family Dynamic

Well, first of all, Neji isn’t letting this happen.

I’m struggling to write a headcanon because Neji wouldn’t allow this. He wouldn’t allow the secondary-branch stuff to happen.

He’d be a fierce advocate for you, even before birth. But Neji is such a grumpy dad. The affection is there; it’s just through action.

He’s also not very good with words, so the affirmation is straightforward, but he would go to war for you.

𓆃 Sakura - Inadequacy

Your two best friends are also gods, huh? Sakura knows how that is, and she’s probably picked up on it before you tell her.

She’s reticent about things and always seems to tell you exactly what you need at that moment. Sakura is very encouraging, helping you problem-solve to figure out what your strengths and passions are.

She suggests that you pursue those, admiring your accomplishments, whether big or small.

𓆃 Sasuke - Having your family murdered in front of your very own eyes Going Down a Troubled Path

Yikes. Don’t go down a Troubled Path ™ while Sasuke is around.

I’m sorry. If you tried to leave the village, Sasuke wouldn’t be above punting you. I’m just the messenger.

Sasuke would be there for you, or at least try to, but as another shinobi who’s not great with words, he’d usually end up looming.

Maybe there are times when he can see your anger, and you can achieve a nice, quiet moment with him, but Sasuke will drag you out of darkness no matter what it takes.

𓆃 Shikamaru - Losing a Sensei

Shikaku knew best, and that’s what Shikamaru does with you. He’s straight to the point, not very into hugs or anything like that, but he does have an eye on you emotionally.

Shikamaru already knows, and he drives straight to the point, unarming you so that you have a space to feel your grief.

𓆃 Shino - Losing a Sibling-like Person

Another quiet Dad. He just wants what’s best for you too.

It’s all about the memories and the momentos. Shino would encourage you to cope and heal at your own rate but not forget the person important to you.

Shino would be there with you in your grief but ensure the focus remained on you. You would have space, and Shino would show his love and support through small gestures.

𓆃 Tenten - Bein’ a Gal

Tenten stuck a nice balance in her life, and she wants to pass that on to you too! Maybe you’re not the flashiest ninja in your grade, but Tenten is already working with you on a strategy on how to improve that thing you like!

Never for a second has Tenten treated you like something to be overlooked. Anything you want to do, you do!

Zero hesitation. Mention one idea to her; she’s already helping you put it in motion. To her, there’s nothing worth overlooking in the first place.

| Insecure at the Beach |

Itachi Uchiha x Fem!Pregnant!Reader

My piece for the Summer Break Collab hosted by @sleepysnk! It’s technically a continuation of Teddy Bears but you don’t have to read it if you don’t want to!

Warnings: Pregnancy, fluff, one instance of a kiss, insecurities/pregnancy related insecurities, cringe...

WC: 3459 (It could have been a whole lot longer... but... I was seriously tired...)

Characters: Itachi, Y/n + Boruto/Naruto Characters

A/n: It’s probably clear that the writing gets progressively worse as I got more tired since I am on vacation and do not have as much time as I wanted to get this done aside from late at night. Haha... procrastination... I was going to have this done a month ago... Sorry... I want to go back to doing previews more again since it holds me accountable so watch out for that! Woo...

A strange thing, really, to see a large log just lying on the beach when there were no trees around. It was incredible to even think that the waves were strong enough to bring such a massive piece of wood all the way from wherever it happened to come from, all the way there and so far up on the sand. Each thing on the beach riddled with mystery, as there was always a chance that it could be from some island nearby, or halfway across the world, it was hard to tell from just looking at it. But like most logs, it made a rather comfortable sitting place for the few people who preferred land to the sea, Itachi and Y/n included.

Flashback:

“The beach?” Y/n asked, examining the basket of laundry Itachi had just set down. “Yes, at Sasuke’s invitation.” She contemplated his words. “It seems most of the children are going to visit there as some kind of retreat for the academy… with adults of course.” He smiled, removing his gray shirt and tossing it in the basket as well. He looked as good as ever, at least as far as Y/n could tell. Just the same, really. Hair still perfectly straight and smooth, tied back loosely in a comfortable ponytail, and body in pristine condition and shape, him still getting high levels of exercise within his busy schedule. But Y/n, though she had eaten relatively healthy and exercised frequently throughout the pregnancy, it was still clear as day that she was expecting, naturally.

What was the expectation? Would she just sit there and sulk the entire time? While all the other Konoha women, Tenten, Ino, Temari, Sakura, and Hinata would wear extravagant bathing suits? Something Y/n wasn’t accustomed to even when less large. It seemed that in her group of people, she was going through this alone. The rest of them had long been recovered from their pregnancies, and were together during that stage, which Y/n herself had missed. 'I’d look like a complete fool next to him…’ She couldn’t help but think while picturing the event in her head. It seemed wrong, criminal even, to be slightly ashamed of carrying her own child, and to feel as if Itachi's support was not enough. But maybe… if she had not wanted to wait so long… he would already have been born yet and she wouldn’t be in this predicament now.

“It will be a bit of a trip to Kirigakure, but nothing to bad and i’m sure it will be worth it. It will be nice to see water after so long, right?” Y/n nodded, shyly. “You must miss Kisame, right?” Itachi contemplated for a brief moment, a finger resting on his chin as his eyes took in the ceiling. “He was a fine partner, really. And despite it all, one of the best shinobi I have ever seen.” He reminisced, the memories still feeling like yesterday. Regret was not as apparent in his words as they were years ago, it was good to see he had forgiven himself more after all this time.

He noticed her expression change suddenly, him almost aware there would be an excuse coming. “I… I don’t think I have a swimsuit, Itachi…” She frowned, turning away from his gaze. “What? Nonsense. We can go out shopping whenever you’d like and buy a new one. I’m sure we can find something to fit your style.” He walked over and put his hand on her shoulder as she hung up some wet clothes. “I have the day off, let me finish that so you can get some rest.” He insisted, her refusal making him frown and start dragging her off to their room. “Y/n, if not for yourself, then for me?” He tucked her into the covers like he had done so many times before. “Just relax.” He spoke softly before exiting, leaving Y/n alone with her thoughts. Part of her wanted to call out to Itachi, and inform him of her concerns. He always knew how to make her feel better. Yet she could only feel as if it would be selfish to do so. And so she went to sleep, somewhat longing for her husband to be with her so she could be at peace.

The next day rolled around, gray clouds in the sky as if they were perfectly representing Y/n’s mood. No magical remedy came from the sweet comments that came from the people in the village as they walked through the streets, everyone congratulating them for their child, and those who had already known were shocked at his growth. Instead, it was Itachi’s eyes when he heard their excitement, the eyes of an excited father-to-be, and one Y/n could predict would be perfect in every way.

Another comfort was the maternity store they stopped at, it being run by a woman who too was pregnant, and had lots of cute choices for bathing suits. With the help of Itachi, Y/n eventually chose a simple f/c two-piece suit with small white stripes adorning it, and a little bow before the top poofed out over her stomach, making it comfortable. The skirt was the same, and long enough that she didn’t feel uncomfortable.

“You look wonderful, my love.” Itachi spoke softly as she looked at herself in the mirror with a slight smile. “Of course, you always do.” He added, placing a hand on your belly and feeling a slight kick from the baby. “He’s restless these days…” Y/n’s smile grew at his movement. “Reminds me of Shisui. I believe we may have another troublemaker in the Uchiha clan.” He chuckled softly, reminding himself to invite Shisui along as well. “At least we know he will become a great, strong ninja. Just like him.” She spoke.

Flashback Ends.

“Mommy! Come play with me and Kawaki!” Himawari squealed, running up to Hinata why dragging Kawaki with her. “Ah. I said don’t want to play right now!” He yelled sternly, voice softening as he watched her whimper. “Come on! You’ll want to play if we start!” He nodded, slightly annoyed as he really had nothing better to do. “Well it seems as if I have to go now, I’ll leave you to discuss.” Hinata mentioned, as she walked off with the kids a bit down the beach for whatever activities Himawari had in store for them.

“Hey Naruto!” Shisui spoke, standing up and situating himself on the empty space on the log. “Yeah?” Naruto replied, watching his movements. “Been having fun being the hokage?” Shisui asked, in a friendly tone. “Sure! I mean…” He pondered the question. It had been everything he’d wanted since he was a child. But even then, he knew he wouldn’t be the best at the job. That would be someone else.

“Well you should really be hokage, Itachi!” Naruto mentioned, turning to face the Uchiha. “No, no. I’m quite glad I turned it down. As fun as paperwork sounds, I prefer to stay home with Y/n and now B/n. It would be hard to take care of them if I was never around...” Itachi spoke. “B/n sounds lucky. He has a dad who actually wants to be in is life.” Boruto muttered, hearing their conversation. “The hokage’s job is important, and someone has to do it, right Boruto?” Shisui chimed in, tapping the boys shoulder as he stood up.

“Y/n, would you like to go in the water?” Itachi asked, confused at her cold expression. “You can go, I think it’s best if I just stay here.” She tried to smile at him, yet somehow couldn't. “Hmm…” Surprise was evident on her face as he took her hands in his, guiding her up to stand. When they were at eye level, she could only blush at the way he was deeply examining her face. “Are you… nervous Y/n?” He asked plainly, leaving Shisui confused in the background as he started to walk with her along the beach a little ways.

“Someday when he is born, it would be nice to take him to the beach with us.” He smiled, gently squeezing her hand. Missing her response, he stopped walking. “We'd have to wait for the group to go all the way back to the village, since I doubt anyone else is ready to head home, but if you’d like, we can just leave the beach until the end if that's what you'd like.” Itachi asked, wanting her to be comfortable. Part of him was thinking she was just tired from the pregnancy, but he knew her too well to truly think that was all it was.

"If there is anything concerning you, please, tell me." He almost begged, but knowing her he knew she wouldn't give anything. "I'm fine, really, Itachi." Y/n looked him in the eyes, slightly mesmerized by how beautiful his were. She had truly married such a talented shinobi, with eyes that even when without the sharingan, could easily put her in a trance. "Here. Let's go in the water." Itachi led her to the edge of the sand where the waves spilled onto it. The golden sun made the blue water sparkle, a mesmerizing sight for the couple. A sweet moment that they hadn’t had time for in the last months, preparation for the baby and all. Itachi was always at work, seeing as he had to support them somehow, and when he wasn’t, he would force Y/n to rest as she was constantly tired and needed it. As nice as quiet can be, she missed the noise of their conversations and time together, which Itachi understood, yet he wanted to take a few months off work spending them with her and b/n so they had to try and save up as much as possible for now.

"Mmmph!" Y/n turned to look at the sound, Himawari skipping towards them. "Bleh" Kawaki bursted up through his sand shell, rising through the ground. Himawari’s face was a look of almost terror, yet also amusement that brought confusion to Itachi's face. "Kawaki... you broke it!" She cried out, looking at the sand covered boy and the remains of her laboring. "You could have not buried my head, y'know!" He continued to spit out sand. "I apologize Kawaki..." Hinata chimed in, handing him a towel for him to wipe himself off with as she walked towards the bunch, possibly to see Himawari’s creation.

“Haha! You’re covered in sand Kawaki!” Boruto laughed as he watched his muscles tense up in his arms. “Shut up Boruto!” He said, seemingly taking a swing at him before Boruto ducked. “Missed me!” He yelled, running off with Himawari behind him and a smug grin on his face. “Oh… why does this always happen to me…” He groaned, sinking into the water to wash up until his eyes were at water level. Y/n could only let out a slight giggle as she observed his depressed expression. 'He really is a great addition to their family...' She thought.

“Itachi! Y/n! We’re starting up the barbeque!” Ino yelled to them, holding the skewers for kabobs. “Would it be that the best chef in the world will be cooking?” Itachi asked, hinting at Y/n. “Yep! That would be me, right?” Shisui laughed as Itachi rolled his eyes. “What! My world famous slightly charred ribs are the best! I mean you guys loved them, right?” Y/n ruffled up his hair. “Yes, Shisui, you talented, amazing chef. The charring on those ribs was just divine, so much so it took up half the meat!” He smiled at her comment.

“Y/n! Hinata! We need cooks!” Ino shouted again, looking her straight in the eyes. “You’re not cooking, Ino?” Hinata asked, approaching the grill. “Me? Cooking is more of Sai’s thing. I just go out to eat a lot. Plus, we don't really need three.” She responded. Y/n started to season the meat, alternating the pieces with vegetables on the skewers before covering them to marinate for a bit in a sauce. Hinata chopped up some lettuce and tomatoes, to make a salad, and got out the potato chips and fruit already prepared.

“Hey Kawaki, you want to play some volleyball?” Boruto asked, nudging him on the shoulder. “After lunch? With who?” He asked. “I’d like to play.” Mitsuki commented, staring right at them. “Ah… when’d you get right there Mitsuki?” Boruto asked, confused. “I’ve been here the entire time, Boruto.” He responded. “So! Mitsuki and I on a team? We’re sure to win!” He yelled enthusiastically, fist raised in the air. “Actually, if you wouldn’t mind, I would like to be with Kawaki. I was thinking it would help with our teamwork.” He insisted. “Well, okay. That cool Kawaki?” Boruto looked at the taller one, and he nodded.

“Iwabe! Get over here?” Boruto called. “What do you want, Boruto, I’m busy.” He responded. “Oh sorry, we just needed another player for volleyball!” Iwabe walked over with his hands behind his head, yawning slightly. “Eh, I guess if you really need me…” Boruto interrupted him. “Then after lunch it’s game on! Iwabe and I vs Kawaki and Mitsuki!” He yelled enthusiastically, way too pumped up for a simple game.

Ino was wearing a small bikini with a flower pattern on it. And a sheer coverup skirt around her waist, something Y/n slightly envied about her. ‘She's so confident… she can wear whatever…’ She thought, placing some of the skewers on the grill rack. “It’s already smelling so good!” Tenten remarked, poking her head over the meat to inhale its scent. “Perfect for those pregnancy munchies, right Y/n?” Ino said, looking at her. “Uh… um…” Y/n responded, turning to face Itachi slightly.

“Actually, she hasn’t really eaten any differently during the pregnancy.” He commented. “Really?” Sai asked, thinking back to his own memories. “Ino really ate like a pig… she went on a massive diet after she gave birth.” He said, nonchalantly. “Hey!” She screeched at Sai, ready to scold him. “Temari was the same.” Shikamaru chimed in. “At least you won’t have to go on a diet Y/n… you’ll probably just bounce right back to your usual self… lucky…” Ino frowned.

“I don’t see anything wrong with eating a lot during pregnancy, it’s natural, right? I just… haven’t been very hungry, that's all. Just very tired.” Y/n muttered, trying to calm everyone down. “Mommy, truth or dare!” Himawari shouted, peeking out from behind Hinata. “Uhm… Truth.” She replied, looking down at her energetic daughter. “Would you rather be stranded on an island with twenty other people, or not be stranded but be all alone?” Himawari asked, testing out the game she had recently learned. “Ah... this brings me back!" Ino gasped, taking a sip of her drink with the overdramatic sigh. "Stuck on an island with 20 people, I would say... It would be much more entertaining to be around you all. I can't fathom what I would do with all that space alone." Hinata responded.

"What about you, Itachi? Truth or dare?" She asked next. "Let's not bother him, Himawari." Hinata chimed in, not wanting her to say something rude. "Ah... It's fine. I'll go with... dare. I'm feeling a bit adventurous, hmm?" He replied. "I dare you to kiss Y/n!" She laughed, as Y/n's face got red, hiding it as she turned to face the grill. "Eh, I'm sorry Itachi. You don't have to." Naruto responded for Himawari, feeling slightly awkward. "Y/n... would you be okay with that?" Itachi asked as he walked over, placing a finger under her chin to lift it up so their eyes would meet. "I mean they're married already, I'm sure they've kissed a million times!" Himawari whined in the background, Hinata slightly scolding her.

"Uh... sure... if you want to..." Y/n responded, giving a quick nod with a slight smile. It was a soft, quick peck on the lips, but to both Itachi and Y/n it was like a sacred moment of togetherness. Like a promise to always be with each other. For them, the act of a kiss wasn't just casual... it was something that was earned, and treasured. A true sign of devotion. Within the timespan of less than a second, it was like Itachi replaced her whole world, and she felt so small in comparison, hiding her blushing face as he whispered, "Thank you, I have missed that."

"See Boruto? He asked for consent. That's what a true gentleman does." Naruto mentioned to Boruto, pointing to the couple. "Yeah, I know that already! I'm not like you, old man." He spoke, lining up with a plate to get food. "Hey! What's that supposed to mean!" Naruto tried to steal the next spot in line next to Boruto but was stopped by a gloomy Sasuke. "You're making too big of a deal out of this, Naruto. Just get some food." He mumbled. Only a loud "Hmph!" came from Naruto for the rest of his time in line.

- Skips to after lunch...

"It's time... for the volleyball battle to begin!" Boruto yelled, standing in the shallow water before the partially submerged net. Iwabe was on his left, facing Kawaki. "Hey guys... it's just volleyball, you don't have to be so aggressive..." He muttered, looking at the expressions of the two boys. Their glares were intense at each other, both locked in a staring contest neither wanted to back out of. Mitsuki and Boruto alike were watching their silent feud, wondering who it was that would blink first.

"Ha!" Iwabe yelled, having watched Kawaki's eyes close shut for just a millisecond, a reflex he regretted. "What are you going on about!" He yelled back, trying to act all confused. "I don't know if you noticed, but it looks like I won." Iwabe rubbed it in. "We weren't even in a staring contest!" Kawaki tried to argue, but both knew that they had made that silent agreement and there was no getting out of it.

"Iwabe! Do something!" Boruto yelled, the ball flying right towards Iwabe's face. "I... I..." He just ducked, not having played volleyball before and it (rather cinematically) bounced off his head and scored a point for their team. Instances like this occurred many times during their game, both teams somewhat incompetent and not knowledgeable on the rules of volleyball. "Kawaki, you hold your hands together, like this." Mitsuki corrected Kawaki with a demonstration. "What's the point of being a shinobi if we can't use our skills in this..." He muttered, demonstrating with his arm. "It's not fun that way! "I guess... wouldn't it be nice if b/n played volleyball with them some day? I know he's quite a bit younger... but it would be so fun for them to play with him." She spoke quietly, getting tired as the day had been long already.

"And b/n will make his own friends too... but it's a long time in the future, still. I just can't wait to meet him and raise him with you." Itachi pulled her into a tight hug, his arms wrapped around her shoulders. "Do you think I'll ever look the same again? I mean Ino said it was diffi..." She was cut off. He smiled back at her, seeing her eyes gleaming with excitement for the first time during the trip instead of anxiousness. "I think... I think I'm ready to go in the water now..." She mentioned, standing up. "There are still many hours for us to enjoy, let's not wait any longer." Itachi spoke, leading her there.

💄Now that you were single again, it was free real estate for men to try their luck with you again. The boys in your class asked you out, there were more attempted kidnappings by obsessed Hidden Mist thugs, and of course the many love letters sent by men all over the world.

💄You decided to read the ones from the Hidden Leaf that came with chocolates. The first letter reeked of sweat and gym socks.

‘Y/N Terumi, please marry me! You are an angel sent from heaven! I’m willing to do 2000 squats, 5000 push ups, and 9000 jumping jacks to prove myself worthy! Please accept my love!’

💄You sweatdropped. ”That’s a bit much don’t you think?” You took one bite of the chocolate and made a face. “Yuck! This is one of those cheap brands!” You toss the chocolate and Lee’s note in the trash next to you before moving on to the next letter. It smelled like chips.

‘Let’s go out sometime! We can go out for pork fried dumplings if you’d like! I’ll even share some potato chips with you!’

💄You deadpanned. Not only that, but the candy bar was half eaten. You hurled them both into the trash. “Cheapskate!”

💄You picked up another letter that smelled like flowers. ‘Ino’ was written on it. You raised an eyebrow. “Huh? I didn’t know she swung that way…” Curiosity got the best of you as you find yourself opening the letter.

‘I’m going to EXPOSE you, bitch! I know you cheated in this years Miss Ninja Universe Pageant! I should have won that crown AND that free vacation to the Hidden Steam! ME! Just admit it already, Y/N! You’re a phony!’

💄You threw your head back and laughed as tears flew out of your eyes. “Girl is OBSESSED! So in denial!” You turn to your shelf seeing the many Miss Teen Ninja and Miss Ninja Universe crowns and trophy’s. You smiled at the photo of you in a yukata minidress, accepting an award from Lady Tsunade. “I won those contests fair and square.”

💄You toss Ino’s letter in the trash and pick up another one from Hinata before opening it. The letter smelt like sweet perfume.

‘Hello Y/N. I hope you are doing well. I heard that you were looking for a new husband. I know things didn’t go well on your first date with my cousin Neji, but it would mean a lot if you would give him another chance. Please give it some thought.’

💄You smiled a bit. You thought it was sweet of Hinata to give her cousin a chance of love. However… “I’m not gonna go out and marry someone who thought it was OK to call me a slut. He had his chance,” you hissed before threw the letter in the trash.

💄Hinata was definitely the nicer Hyuga. You remembered meeting her during at your first Miss Teen Ninja pageant. She was shy but cute and very sweet towards you despite the fact that she lost. Overtime you two became closer and Hinata took you out for cinnamon rolls.

💄”Maybe I’ll invite her to my next party,” you smiled. You then pick up another letter and open it. “Alright just one more for the day…”

‘Hi Y/N. Nice to meet ya! I’m Naruto! So listen, I’m not too experienced on this sort of thing but I think you’re really pretty and I’ve heard pretty cool stuff about you too! I’d like to get to know you and see what you’re all about, you know? There’s this cool place in the Hidden Leaf called Ichiraku Ramen! It’s really good and I’d love to take you out sometime!’

-Naruto Uzumaki, the man who will become Hokage. BELIEVE IT!

💄You found yourself giggling. The letter sounded so endearing, genuine, and cute. It was nice to see that a guy genuinely wanted to get to know you and see you beyond just your looks. And on top of that, it came with a Snickers candy bar. Your favorite!

💄”Maybe I will give him a chance!” You smiled. You quickly down the snickers bar and got to work on your letter.

‘Dear Naruto, nice to meet you too! I really liked your letter! And thanks for the yummy candy bar! You sound like a lot of fun! I’d love to go out with-‘

💄You stop writing and frowned. You weren’t ready to date again even after all this time. The truth was, you still harbored feelings for your previous love.

💄You dug into your cleavage and pulled out a silver heart shaped locket. You opened it. Inside it was a a picture of your former fiancé Suigetsu. He had a toothy smirk and a wink that made your heart melt.

💄After Suigetsu was captured by Orochimaru, you became lonely and depressed. You had your mom by your side, but it still didn’t change the fact that you still missed your love.

💄You sighed sadly. “Oh Suigetsu, where are you?”

💄You seduced the bar owner downtown and managed to rent out the space for your latest party. After sending out hundreds of invites to your friends and getting a band together, you all partied that night at the bar.

💄Parties were a way to get your mind off things. Given that you were popular in school, everyone loved to come to your parties and how chaotic they got.

💄You were currently on stage with your band. You were scantily clad in a f/c bikini that was covered by a fishnet cropped tank and a matching fishnet miniskirt and f/c heels. You held a mic and tapped your foot to the beat of the drums and the strum of the guitar before you started singing ‘LOVERS’.

“Kimi wa ima namida nagashita! Nakijakuru kodomo no you niiii…”

“Tatoe asu ga mienaku natte mo mamoru yoooooo…”

💄As the beat dropped, you shot a finger up in the air as you posed.

“Natsu no sora miagete nirandaaaa!”

💄The crowd cheered as you started dancing on the stage to the strumming of the guitar. Your friends all danced with you while they raised their drinks in the air.

“Tsuyogatte bakari de namida wa misenaiii!”

“Hontou wa kowai kuse niii…”

💄You jumped onto another part of the stage that had a pole and started to dance with it as you sang. The crowd cheered even louder as you grinded on the pole.

“Taisetsu na mono woooooo!”

“Ushinawanu you niiii!”

“Hisshi de hashiri nukete kita…”

💄You reach your hands to touch the fanboys in the crowd. All of them had hearts in their eyes as you touched them. Some even passed out after you winked at them.

💄You couldn’t help but feel a little sad as the lyrics made you feel about your love for Suigetsu and the tears that came after his disappearance.

“Itsudatte nagai yoru wo!”

“Futari de norikoetaaaa!”

“Kono mama isshoni iru kara tsuyogatte nai de…iin da yoooo…”

💄You hadn’t noticed that Ao had walked into the bar after hearing the source of loud music. He was absolutely flabbergasted at the sight of the hundreds of underaged youth partying and drinking at a bar past midnight.

💄That was when he saw you singing and pole dancing on stage. His jaw dropped. “Oh my god!” On one hand he was amazed at the sound of your beautiful voice, on the other he couldn’t believe what you had done. But then again this wasn’t the first time you threw a wild party. But a pole dance? A pole dance?! What on earth were you thinking?! Why were you dressed like that?!

💄He gasped seeing how three boys jumped on stage to start dancing close to you. You grinded on one of them as you sang. Ao shook his head. “The youth these days…” He looked around to find an electrical source to unplug the music speakers.

💄That was when the lights went out. You stopped singing and looked around in confusion as you heard the disappointed and confused murmurs in the crowd. ”PARTY’S OVER!” You heard a familiar voice shout. You widened your eyes, knowing who it was. “Oh no…”

💄Ao covered you in his robe to prevent wandering eyes from seeing your skin. He carried you as he dragged you home.

💄”Let me go, Ao!” You cried as you squirm in his grasp but his grip was too tight. “Partying and pole dancing half naked at a bar at 2 in the morning?! And on a school night?! Just wait til your mother hears about this!” Ao scolded. He shook his head. “The youth today have no discipline!”

💄”I’m 18! I’m grown! You’re not the boss of me anymore old man!” You say as you bang a fist into Ao’s back. “Doesn’t matter how old you are. You’re still my responsibility, Y/N.” Ao says.

💄You both finally made it back to the mansion. Ao set you down. You growled a bit when he shoved you inside. Mei had a shocked expression on her face upon seeing you. “Caught this one partying half naked at a bar,” Ao said.

💄Mei rushed over to you and cupped your cheeks. Tears threatened to spill from her eyes. “Oh baby! I was so worried! Why are you drinking? Where did I go wrong?” You sighed. You hated making your mother worry. “Mommy, I wasn’t drinking.”

💄Mei let out a sigh of relief. “Oh, thank goodness.” Ao scoffed. ”Could’ve fooled me,” You glared at him. “I am completely sober! I was just having fun and all you do is ruin everything!”

💄”’Having fun?’ I can’t imagine what would have happened if I hadn’t dragged you out of that bar! Just how many parties are you going to keep throwing until your satisfied, Y/N?!” Ao yelled.

💄”Well maybe I wouldn’t have to go to a bar if you let me throw parties here at the mansion again,” you snapped. Ao narrowed his eyes at you. “Need I remind you the hot tub incident?”

💄You went into deep thought as you recalled your engagement party with Suigetsu. The two of you slipped away from the crowd and entered Mei’s master bathroom where you peeled off each other’s clothes and fucked in the large bubbly hot tub.

💄Things got more playful from there when Suigetsu used his great water arm technique to spank you. He accidentally slammed the tub walls causing the tub to crash through several floors down, exposing you both to the crowd.

💄It was good thing the bubbles censored your modesty, but it didn’t change the fact that you were embarrassed over being caught. Ao was disgusted and Mei was furious. She grounded you for a month and banned you from throwing parties at the house.

💄You couldn’t help but giggle and blush at the memories. Suigetsu ALWAYS knew how to show you a good time. Ao raised an eyebrow. “You think this is funny?!” You snap out of your thoughts and glared at him. “I think it’s funny how you think you can tell me what to do. I’m old enough! I can do what I want!”

💄”I knew that Hozuki boy would be a bad influence on you! He’s nothing but trouble,” Ao said. You crossed your arms defiantly. “Well maybe I like trouble!”

💄”You are nothing but a spoiled brat! Your mother raised you better than that and you’re dragging her reputation through the mud! If you’re so grown up then start acting like an adult and stop behaving like an out of control teenager!” Ao snapped. You growled. “SCREW YOU, AO! YOU’RE NOT MY DAD!”

💄”Young lady! That’s enough!” Mei yelled. You stared at her completely stunned. She had a stern glare trained onto you as she raised a finger. “Ao’s right, you’ve gotten too far, Y/N. No more wild parties!” You pouted. “But mom…”

💄”Not another word,” Mei said sternly. You held your tongue. You knew better than to talk back to your mom, considering how scary she was when she was angry.

💄A calm and happy smile returned back to her face. “Now then. I wanted to let you know that The Five Kage Summit is coming up soon.” Your eyes lit up. If Mei was leaving, then that would mean you could throw several parties without her knowing. “Really? When are you leaving?”

💄”We’re leaving tomorrow. All of us!” Mei said happily. You widened your eyes. “What?! Why do I have to go?”

💄”It’s to educate you on international shinobi relations. And keep you from rebelling against your mother by partying again,” Ao said. You blushed as you glared at him. You hated how him being a sensory type gave him the ability to see right through you. “I-I-I wasn’t gonna throw any parties!”

💄You turned back to Mei, giving her puppy dog eyes. “Mommy, I don’t wanna go to the Summit. I wanna stay here and part-I mean…play and go out with my friends.”

💄Mei pouted as she gave you puppy dog eyes of her own. “I won’t feel as strong without my beautiful and amazing daughter by my side to protect me. You’ll come too, won’t you baby?” Your cheeks flushed. You were no match for those puppy dog eyes.

💄You sighed. “F-fine, I’ll go.” Mei smiled. “Good! Now give mommy a kiss!” Your cheeks flushed a deeper red as Mei pouted her lips. Your mom had always been affectionate but you felt as though you were too old for her kisses.

💄You knew that she would get all sad and depressed if you didn’t show her affection. You sighed before leaning in close to give Mei a peck on the cheek.

💄”Mwah~”

💄Mei’s cheeks flushed. “Aww! You’re so sweet!” She pulled you in close and gave you lots of kisses. “Mom! Stop it…” you whined as kiss marks start to stain your face.

💄Mei stopped with the kisses and pulled you into a hug. You smiled and hugged back. Nothing was better than your mothers love. “And Honey?” She asks. “Yes mommy?” You say. “You’re grounded for a month,” Mei said kindly.

💄The following morning, you, Mei, Ao, and Chojuro were ready to set off, but not before being seen off the the village elder and the other villagers. You finished applying some lipstick for the first time as you stared at your compact. Mei said you could start wearing lipstick the moment you turned 18. You loved how shiny and plumper your lips looked.

💄You saw in your mirror how Ao was staring at you disapprovingly. You knew he didn’t like how you were wearing lipstick. You rolled your eyes and ignored him as you didn’t want to start trouble in front of the people. After all, image was everything.

💄”Chojuro, how’s my makeup?” You whispered to him. Chojuro blushed. “Oh um…l-looks good, Lady Y/N.” You giggled. It was so cute seeing him all flustered.

💄”We entrust the honorable Mizukage to your care.” One shinobi said. “Make sure the Mizukage doesn’t overdo it.” Another said. “I know I will,” Ao said.

💄”Lady Y/N, be strong and remain diligent for Lady Mizukage’s sake,” another shinobi said. You give the villagers your most charming smile as you winked. “Always have, always will~” you sang.

💄The villagers and even the Elder blushed at that. They all thought you were so alluring and beautiful. Ao rolled his eyes. He didn’t like how you used your feminine wiles to get through to people.

💄The Village Elder approached Mei with the blue headgear. She took it. “Thank you very much!” Mei stood strongly snd proudly. “Lord Great Elder, by my title of Mizukage, I’ll fulfill my duties with brilliance!”

💄You smiled in admiration at Mei. She was such a kind and strong leader. “As one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, protect Lady Mizukage well, Chojuro,” a shinobi said.

💄”Uh, yes sir…all four of us should be just fine…well I hope…” Chojuro said nervously. You sighed as you turned to him. “We’ve got to work on that confidence, Cho.”

💄Mei nodded in agreement. ”Y/N’s right. You’re very strong! After all, that’s why I chosen you to accompany me to the Summit. Kay, Chojuro?” Chojuro smiled a bit. “Um, yes m’am. I’ll do my absolute best…well I hope…”

💄You smirk at him. “Don’t say ‘I hope’ say ‘I will!’” You say as you give Chojuro a playful hip bump. Chojuro was startled at the sudden contact. His cheeks flushed a deeper red as he chuckled nervously. “Oh! Heh heh…I-I will! Y-You can count on me Lady Y/N! I’ll protect you too!”

💄You winked at him. “That’s the spirit!” ‘Shes so kind and beautiful…just like her mother. If only I could tell Y/N how I feel…’ Chojuro thought.

💄”’Yes m’am’ is all you should say. That spineless attitude is useless,” Ao hissed. You glared at him. “Stop being so mean to Chojuro!” Ao sighed. “You’re a prime example. The youth these days are all made weakness…”

💄You flinched at the triggering word. It was already too late as Mei’s eyes had already darkened. You sweatdropped. “Um…mommy? Are you okay?” You whispered to her. Mei remained silent. ‘Crap, I gotta think of something to calm her down,’ you thought.

💄”Ao, enough with the lecturing! Now get moving or you’re going to be late,” the Village Elder said. Your face went blue at his words. ‘Oh no!’ You turned back to Mei who’s eyes started to get darker.

💄You instantly got behind her and rubbed her shoulders a bit. “Hey, how bout a quick massage before we go, mommy? Try to calm down, okay?” You say with a nervous smile.

💄”My lectures good advice,” Ao began. “Why back in my day…” You looked at him with panic. ‘No Ao! Don’t say that!’ You mentally shrieked.

💄You shrieked out loud when Mei coldly shrugged your hands off her shoulders before approaching Ao. “Shut up. Or die,” she said with a sweet smile. Ao’s eyes went wide in astonishment. You sweatdropped. ‘Well at least moms okay…right?’

💄Mei then stood proudly as she raised her headgear up high. “Alright! Chojuro! Ao! Y/N! Let’s depart!”

💄After traveling for so long, you all made it to an inn that night. You leaned against a wall and cooled yourself down with your paper fan as Chojuro and Mei got settled. Ao watched you intently from across the room, studying your movements.

💄You glared at him. “Q-Quit staring at me! You’re making me nervous!” Ao shook his head. “Don’t think so. I gotta keep my eye on you and make sure you don’t find a boy and run off.”

💄You roll your eyes at him as you closed your fan. “Just what kind of girl do you think I am?” Ao glared at you. “One that rebels against her mother and parties at bars past curfew.” You rolled your eyes again at that. “Well there are no boys around. All I see is an angry old man!”

💄Mei glared at you. “Y/N! Shush! That’s enough!” You flinched at her tone and shrunk back, not wanting to upset her. Ao smirked in triumph seeing how you were finally getting disciplined.

💄You turn to Chojuro and watched him set his blade down against the wall. “Chojuro, you’re great twin sword, Hiramekarei must be quite a burden. Are you alright carrying it?” Mei asked. “Oh, I’m fine. Though I’m feeling a bit feverish,” Chojuro said.

💄Mei slowly approached him. “Let’s see…” She put her arm behind Chojuro’s neck and pressed her forehead against his. “Well it does feel like you might have a slight temperature.” You couldn’t help but giggle to yourself seeing Chojuro blush.

💄”Lady Fifth, you spoil Chojuro too much! It’s the same with your daughter too! This is why the young these days get so full of themselves! You spice a temperature from such a short jaunt?” Ao hissed. “Why, in my day I…”

💄You glared at him. “Hey! I am not spoi-!” You stopped mid sentence when Mei gave you a warning glare. She then directed her glare to Ao.

💄”Ao…it’s no longer the dark time when we were called the Blood Mist Village. The nightmare created by the Fourth Mizukage is long over. You do well not to bring up the past,” she warned. Ao nodded. “Yes I…forgive me…m’am.”

💄Mei smiled. “Now, let’s stop such depressing talk and have some supper instead! I’m looking forward to the meal this inn has made!” She turned to you. “Aren’t you, Sweetheart?” You nodded. “Yeah! I hope they have dessert too! I’ve been craving sweets! Maybe we could get cake or something!” Mei nodded. “Mmm, yes, a cake sounds splendid.”

💄”I hope you’ve engaged in appetizing dinner,” Ao said. You flinched at the triggering word and saw how Mei’s eyes darkened. ‘Oh crap…’ you thought.

💄Ao approached Chojuro. “You have arranged for all of our meals, haven’t you Chojuro?” Chojuro got nervous. “There were just so many choices. So I had a lot of trouble making up my mind. And in the end I couldn’t decide…”

💄You gasped at the triggering word and turned back to Mei. Her eyes became darker. ‘Okay this is bad…gotta change the subject…’ you thought.

💄You decided to try and lighten the mood of the room and create a distraction. You go behind Chojuro and wrap your arms around his neck. He widens his eyes as his cheeks flushed. “L-L-L-Lady Y/N! What are you-?”

💄”Chojuro! Let’s order something expensive and yummy!” You cooed. Chojuro’s face started heating up. “E-Expensive? A-A-Are you sure?” Your eyes lidded as you stroked his arm tenderly. “Mmhm…like maybe some…tender meat?”

💄You pressed your breasts to Chojuro’s back, burying your face in his neck a bit. Chojuro started to sweat. His breathing became heavy as the little sword in his pants started to rise a bit. Ao was completely disgusted by the display.

💄He stormed over to you and yanked you by your arm away from Chojuro. Chojuro immediately ran away to order the food. Ao glared at you. “Enough! You’re the Fifth Mizukage’s daughter! Have some class and stop acting like some shameless hussy!”

💄You glared back. “I was only trying to change the subject to keep you from saying anything stupid to my mom!” Ao growled at you. “Don’t you play games with me young lady! It’s always you or Chojuro! Youth these days have voided hearts and no ambition!”

💄Your face went blue as you widened your eyes in horror at the triggering word. “Ao! No!” It was too late. Mei stepped towards you both. You shrieked as she pried Ao’s hand off of yours, freeing you. Ao looked at her in confusion. “Lady Fifth?” Mei leaned close to him.

💄”Shut up. Or die…”

💄After supper, you went to your room and changed into a short f/c yukata robe. You spotted Chojuro in the hallway and invited him into your room to come and play. He was hesitant at first, but just like many guys, he was unable to resist your charms.

💄The two of you spent the night in your bed having a pillow fight which soon turned into a tickle fight. You both laugh the entire time.

💄”Lady Y/N! HAHAHA! Stop! That tickles!” Chojuro laughs. “Make me!” You chuckle as you tickle his sides. A devious smirk spreads on his face. “Fine, I will…”

💄Chojuro flips you over so that he was on top of you. You squealed as he pins your wrists above your head. You were almost shaken up. He was so strong. The two of you stare into each other’s eyes for a moment.

💄Chojuro’s cheeks flushed. He had never been this close to you before. ‘Y/N…she’s so beautiful…I know I shouldn’t but…’

💄Chojuro cupped your cheeks and started leaning closer to you. You blinked in confusion. “Chojuro…? What are you-?”

💄The door slammed opened. You and Chojuro turned and saw that it was Ao at the door. His eyes widened at the sight of you both in bed. “What in the devil is going here?!”

💄 Ao glared at him. “In bed with the Fifth Mizukage’s daughter?! Have you no shame?!” Chojuro immediately jumped off the bed. His knees shook as his face became red. “Ao it’s n-n-not what it looks like!”

💄”GET OUT!” Ao shouted. Chojuro screamed as he ran out the room. Ao turned to glare at you. You sat up in your bed and glared back. The shift of your movement caused your yukata sleeve to slide off your shoulder a bit, revealing your f/c bra strap.

💄Ao shook his head at the sight. “Look at yourself! I don’t even want to imagine what would have happened if I didn’t come sooner.” You blushed as you fix your sleeve to cover your shoulders. “We weren’t gonna do anything! We were just playing in bed together!”

💄Ao raised an eyebrow. “‘Playing in bed together?’” You blushed. ‘Okay so that sounded a little suggestive just now…’ you thought.

💄”Chojuro is one of the Seven Ninja Swordmen, he doesn’t need to be coddled. I swear you’re just like your mother,” Ao sighed. “I’ll take that as a compliment,” you huffed.

💄Ao groaned. “Y/N, you can’t just keep on chasing after every boy you see.” You glared at him. “That’s not true! There’s only one boy I love and his name is Suigetsu Hozuki!” Ao narrows his eyes at you. “I already told you! That Hozuki boy is a bad influence on you! I wish Mangetsu didn’t have to die so that you could rebound to his delinquent of a brother!”

💄”How do you know what’s good for me?!” You snap. Ao growled, having enough of your talk backs. “Y/N-“

💄”-No! All you do is hate me and ruin my fun! You never want me to be happy! Why can’t you just let me live my life?!” You cry.

💄Ao finally snapped. “No daughter of mine needs to be marrying some thug-!” Ao stopped mid sentence, surprised at his own words. Your eyes widened as you stared at Ao in bewilderment as your heart nearly stopped.

💄‘Ao…is he my dad?’ You thought. You scanned his features. He didn’t look like you. But if there was any possibility that he slept with your mom 18 years ago…

💄”No…I’m not your father…” Ao said as if he read your thoughts. And just like that, your heart sank. You hugged your knees to your chest. “Oh…”

💄You didn’t know whether to feel relief or sadness. You never knew who your real father was and every time you questioned Mei about it, she kept quiet.

💄”Well then…why did you say that?” You ask sadly. Ao sighed as he scratched the back of his head nervously. “Well you may not know it but…I do think of you as my own daughter…”

💄Warmth filled your heart as his words as you lift your head out your knees. “Really?” Ao smiled a bit before walking over to sit next to you on the bed. “Of course. Why else do you think I’m always hard on you?”

💄”Because you hate me,” you say. “You’re wrong. I don’t hate you,” Ao said. “I just hate all the bad decisions you make.” You couldn’t help but chuckle a bit at that.

💄You then recall all the memories of your time with Ao throughout the years. When you were 3, he chased you around the mansion when you refused to take a bath.

💄When you were 7, he took you to the park when your mother was too busy to spend time with you.

💄At your 13th birthday party, he scolded you for initiating a food fight at the mansion.

💄When you were 15, Ao rescued you from thugs who put you under a genjutsu who threatened to sell you to a mob boss.

💄Then you recalled him scolding you recently for the bar party. Now you saw that behind the scolding was love.

💄You realized now that if you ever thought about your dad, all you could picture was Ao.

💄Tears stream down your eyes as you bring Ao into a hug. “Ao…I’m sorry…for everything…” Ao stared at you in bewilderment as you sobbed into his chest.

💄He couldn’t help but smile. You looked so precious. He put an arm around you and pulled you closer. “I’m sorry too.” He tilted your chin up and wiped your tears. “But you need to start acting like a grown up okay? Think about your actions and how it might affect your mothers positions as Mizukage.”

💄 He was right. You had to start thinking about your moms reputation. “Okay,” you nodded. “By the way, where did you learn to sing like that?” Ao asked. You smiled, remembering your party performance. “I always knew how to sing! I perform at every pageant I’ve won.”

💄”You have a pretty voice,” Ao said. “Thanks!” You say happily. You then remembered something. “I noticed you left out the pole dance when you told mom about the party…” you say nervously.

💄Ao sighed and shook his head. “If you’re mother knew her daughter was dancing like that, it would break her heart!” You giggled. “You really do care!”

💄Ao blushed and rolled his eyes a bit. “Just promise me you won’t do anything like that again.” You lean up towards Ao and give him a peck on the cheek. “Okay, dad.” Ao glared at you as his cheeks flushed a deeper red. “Don’t call me ‘dad’. It makes me sound like an old man.”

💄You giggled again. “But you are an old man!” You and Ao laughed together for that moment. Neither of you noticed that Mei was peeking behind the door, smiling that the two of you finally found common ground.

💄The morning of the Kage Summit finally came. You were served warm tea to heat up before the Summit commenced. One by one all the Kage and their bodyguards from each village showed up.

💄Your eyes met with Gaara’s first. He gave you a kind smile. You sweatdrop. ‘Oh god please don’t come…’ you thought.

💄Gaara and his siblings approached you. You forced a kind smile. “Hi Gaara.” “Hello Y/N,” he said. “You look lovely.” You force a giggle. “Thannnks.”

💄’I wish I didn’t have to run into my ex…well er…we went on one date so is he even considered my ex?’ You thought.

💄There was an awkward silence between you both. ‘Maybe I should shake his hand and call it a day or something…or should I hug him?’ You thought.

💄You step forward towards Gaara to reach a hand out but Temari immediately steps in front of you to block your path, causing you to stop in place. “Oh! Um…hiya Temari,” you say nervously. Temari said nothing. Her blue eyes gave you a piercing glare that said it all.

💄You sweatdropped under her scrutiny. Temari never liked you. You knew her as a fellow competitor from the Miss Teen Ninja and Miss Ninja Universe pageants. And just like Ino, she also believe you cheated.

💄Since you rejected Gaara’s hand in marriage, you were on her blacklist. The longer she stared at you, the more uncomfortable you became. ‘So awkward…can’t breathe…’ you thought.

💄You look over to Kankuro who had heart in his eyes upon seeing you. “Hi, are you still single?” You raise an eyebrow at him. “Huh?” Gaara sighed. “Kankuro, be respectful.”

💄Temari scoffed. “You shouldn’t waste your time on a girl like her anyway. Have some self respect.” Your cheeks burned from the embarrassment as you felt your heart sink. ‘Ouch…’

💄After that awkward fiasco, you met with the Tsuchikage and his bodyguards. Õnoki looked you up and down with a dirty grin on his face. “So this is the Fifth Mizukage’s daughter that Deidara kept going on about. Mmm, what a fine young lass.”

💄You shivered. ‘Ewwww…you dirty old man…and who is Deidara?’ You thought. You forced a smile despite your thoughts. “Pleased to meet you, Lord Tsuchikage.” Õnoki nodded at that, his grin never left his face.

💄You brought your gaze over to Kurotsuchi. You recognized her from the pageants. Thankfully, you two didn’t have any beef. You gave her a genuine smile. “Hi Kuro! It’s good to see you again!” Kurotsuchi nodded. “Likewise.”

💄She gave you a suspicious look. “Hey, is it true that you cheated in the pageant?” You narrowed your eyes at her as you sweatdropped. “I didn’t cheat…”

💄You then met with Danzo. He looks you up and down for a moment before giving you a look of disgust. “Feh!” He then walks away from you. Your jaw dropped as you stared in astonishment. You internally fumed. ‘RUDE! Who made that old coot the Hokage? Where’s sweet Auntie Tsunade?’

💄Finally, you met with the Raikage who’s presence was very intimidating. His bodyguards C and Darui were with him. They were both really hot!

💄A broke into a grin. ”Well if it isn’t Miss Ninja Universe…” You gave him a smile. “A pleasure, Lord Raikage.” A chuckled a bit. “So how’s married life treating you?” Your smile slowly dropped. “Oh…I’m not married…”

💄A’s lips formed a bigger grin. “I see…well maybe that wouldn’t be a problem if you had offered Omoi’s hand in marriage.” An irritated tick mark appeared on your head as A chuckled.

💄’Okay so we have one Kage who’s my ex, one that’s a perv, one that’s an asshole, and one who’s a bigger asshole! These Kage’s are all clowns!’ You thought.

💄You stood with Ao and Chojuro behind the curtain alongside the other bodyguards of the other Kage as the Kage Summit commenced.

💄As each of the Kage talked about the worlds issues, you found yourself bored by the second. At one point the Raikage smashed his desk, prompting for all the bodyguards to jump out and protect their Kage. After Mei told you, Ao, and Chojuro to stand down, you each along with the other bodyguards went back behind the curtain once more.

💄You were bored once more as the Kage conversed. That’s when Ao spoke up. “Chojuro, Y/N, prepare for battle.” You and Chojuro exchange confused looks before directing it at Ao. “What?”

💄Ao then activated his Byakugan. He then stepped out from behind the curtain and exposed Danzo for stealing Shisui Ichiha’s eye. You were all shocked by the revelation.

💄That was when a large green plant sprouted in the middle of the Kage circle revealing a creepy white plant man with green hair. ”Why hellooooo there!”

💄You and all the other bodyguards stepped out from the curtain to defend your Kage’s. A growled. “One problem after another! Now what?!” “Is he Akatsuki?” Danzo asked. Õnoki nodded. “Seems so.”

💄”Guess what? Sasuke Uchiha is stuck in here! I wonder…where do you think he could be hiding right now? Any guesses?!” The white plant creature sang.

💄You were absolutely shaken to the core at the creepy site of the man, but you didn’t let it show. “WHAT IS ALL THIS?!” A barked. You then remembered what the plant guy said about Sasuke.

💄”He’s the one with the Sharingan?” Mei asked. “Who took down Haku and Zabuza?” Ao added. You gasped at that. ‘Zabuza…’ you thought.

💄Before you could ask questions, the plant creature spoke again. “It’s like a game of hide and seek! Let’s all try to find Sasuke!”

💄A grabbed a hold of the plant creature by the neck and strangled him. “Tell me where Sasuke Uchiha is! Give me an answer right now! Refuse to answer and I’ll show you no mercy!”

💄After awhile, A’s patience grew thin as he proceeded to break the plant guys neck. Mifune’s guard then sent the order to find Sasuke. A and his bodyguards then proceeded to rush off and find Sasuke on their own.

💄After interrogating Danzo some more Gaara and his siblings left to find Sasuke along with Kurotsuchi.

💄Ao closed his eyes. “He’s here.” As if on cue, the curtains slashed as the result of blades cutting. You were each on your guard.

💄You glanced up at the ceiling seeing Sasuke Uchiha hanging from above. You pointed at him. “There he is!” Everyone followed your gaze.

💄You took a good look at Sasuke. ‘For someone totally psycho, he’s really hot,’ you thought. Mifune jumped up to attack first, Sasuke countered with his blade.

💄Danzo and his guards suddenly ran out the room. “Sasuke! Danzo bolted!” You heard. You turned seeing a redhead in glasses. ‘Who’s that?’ You thought.

💄Ao jumped over the table and ran towards the hole. He stopped and turned back to you all. “Lady Mizukage, Chojuro, Y/N! Stay here! I’m gonna go after Danzo. The Kage Summit hasn’t come to an end yet.”

💄”Very well. But don’t go overboard,” Mei said. Ao nodded. “M’am, I’ll leave the Akatsuki criminals to you,” he said before running out the room.

💄Your heart fills with worry. “Ao! Wait!” You step forward but Mei puts a hand in front of you. “Ao can take care of himself, Sweetheart. You just stay close to me.” You look at her worriedly. “But…”

💄Sasuke then jumped down. “Karin! COME!” He and the redhead named Karin then rush towards the hole. You turned back to them as you started making hand signs. “No you don’t!”

💄You and Mei together unleashed Lava Released from your mouths to seal the hole shut. Sasuke turned to glare at you both. You playfully licked the lava drool off your lips. “Gotcha~” you sang.

💄Mei smirked as she wiped the lava drool off her own lips with her fingers. “You Akatsuki have traveled all over the Hidden Mist and manipulated the Fourth Mizukage…”

💄”…And yet when I look at you closely, you Uchiha really are quite handsome indeed…” she continued. “…Why if you haven’t gone rogue, I probably would have made arrangements to marry you off to my beautiful daughter…”

💄’Aww, that’s really sweet mom. But there’s only one man I love…’ you thought. Sasuke’s eyes became menacing. “Do not interfere!”

💄Mei smiled as she sighed before getting up from her seat. “Too bad, such a fine man, what a waste…”

💄She gave Sasuke a seductive look. “But at least…I get to give you a kiss that’ll melt you away…”

💄You blushed at that as you sweatdropped. You always got a little uncomfortable when Mei acted all seductive towards men in your presence.

💄Karin growled. “What?! A kiss?! Who and what are you, you witch?! And quit making eyes at him you old bag!” You sent her a death glare. “How dare you?!”

💄”You wanna piece of me, bimbo? Well c’mon!” Karin barked. “You’re about to start wearing your hair color all over your body, bitch!” You hissed.

💄Mei sighed again. “Language, dear.” You held your tongue. You both then started making hand signs. “Lord Tsuchikage, if you’re not going to participate, then please just keep your head down.”

💄With that, you and Mei shot lava from your mouths as the Tsuchikage and his bodyguard jumped to the sealing. The lava attack just barely got your enemies. You smirked seeing how some of your lava burned off the split ends in Karin’s hair, causing her to cry out. ‘Don’t mess with my mama,’ you thought.

💄You and Mei then jumped out the way: “Chojuro!” Mei said. Chojuro jumped in the air with his sword. “Yes m’am!” He then used his sword to blast Sasuke through the hole and into the hallway.

💄Mei immediately ran into the hallway to face off against Sasuke. “Mommy!” You heard her use her lava and you guessed that she was sealing the wall again to keep Sasuke from escaping. ‘She can take care of herself.’

💄You glanced down at the knocked out Karin. ‘She’s not even worth it…’ You turned towards the door. ‘I don’t trust that Danzo. I gotta find Ao and make sure he’s okay…’

💄You immediately ran out the room. “Y/N! Wait!” Chojuro called.
