There are good sides to dating Pilot!Dib. Like you find little cute notes passed to you in class saying how cute you look from across the class. Or a text saying, "Turn over, i want to take a picture." When you're in bed.

But let's be fr dating Pilot!Dib would also be scary and tiring. Imagine you have a guy friend, and you hang out with him after school, and he finds out. Oh boy, be prepared for an angry argument text, or the next day at school, Pilot!Dib tries to argue with you that you're cheating.

But overall, i would say he's a 7/10 at being a good bf.

2001!Dib would be more calm and understanding

There would be ups and downs like, him crying about how his dad, or bullying at school.

2001!Dib would also send you proof that Zim is an alien. But not constantly. Maybe 2 times a month

He also goes to therapy. His dad made him.

Dating 2001!Dib would be great because you go on dates in the forest with a telescope looking at the starry sky. Then he hands you his signature black coat, so you arent cold.

You would text him non-stop. So would he.

Wally Darling

★ Having no prior knowledge on what headaches feel, or what they even are, you need to explain the consent to him. It's not easy explaining the throbbing, constant, sharp or dull pain in your head to a puppet with no organs.

★ Once you get the concept across he's immediately worried. Oh you poor thing, do you need anything? Water?? bandaids?? A nap??? Wally is so in tune with you that when you feel bad he feels bad.

★ The fact that this happens regularly feels wrong to him. Pain isn't something a person should be familiar with, in his opinion. He feels bad about not being able to stop the pain :(

★ He visits frank for advice on how to help you with headaches. Most of the advice is decent, considering it's coming from someone with no organs and limited knowledge on humans.

★ Home is well aware of what to do when you get a particularly bad migraine. Close the blinds, try not to make any loud noises, don't let anyone inside and let wally take care of the rest.

Zim

★ Annoyed at you for constantly having a headache. If you don't feel good then why don't you just stop?? Bare with him, he doesn't know.

★ He doesn't understand that constantly having a headache isn't normal. So he just assumes that there's nothing wrong with you and this just happens to everyone.

★ If you tell him that it might be a medical issue you already know he's going to try and "fix" it. For your own safety don't let him. Even if he's 99.9% sure you won't die. Just no.

★ School and life in general always feels worse with a headache. Sometimes popping a Tylenol just doesn't help and you just feel like a wet roll of paper towels.

★ Depending on how long you've been with him one of two things could happen when you feel like this:

A. He lets you lay on his couch whilst skipping whatever school/work/social obligations you have. He brings you a bottle of water, then leaves. (Don't forget to call out if you're supposed to be at work)

B. He pulls a pair of fuzzy earmuffs from his pak and does all of the above, with the addition of staying and letting you lay your head in his lap.

“Why do you humans torture yourselves with these disgusting visuals!” Is most likely the first thing he says/ask. He honestly doesn’t understand the concept of it

The minute you express your love for the genre he tries liking it too (he’s a people pleaser to those he cares about) but ends up shaking himself up and just staring at it in disgust and horror, he probably can’t last for the whole movie 💀

He tries to hide his fear and just act like he doesn’t care, but it’s like putting a bandage on a split bridge and hoping it stays together. So it doesn’t last long when he sees the horror character wilding a chain saw and slicing people into dices. That scene itself sent shivers down his spine and activated his flight or fight response, so he ends up clinging to you or Gir without realizing

Oh and don’t get me started on jump scares!, he gets startled easily so any jump scares he ends up yelling his head off while jumpy back 20 feet, it tariffed him. His heart was beating faster then drums in a band, he honestly thought he would die there then. But once he heard you giggling he just pouted while screaming that he isn’t scared at all. But you could tell easily by how bad his body was shaking

He never lets you or gir pick out a movie to watch ever again. The many times this man literally almost died of a sudden jump scare is unreal so he doesn’t trust you with the remote anymore 💀

Even though he hates to ambit it, when you pull him closer to comfort him after a scary scene it helps tremendously. After a while of trying to pull away and scream some vengeance esk things he finally gives in and just goes lump in your arms while sighing and just hugging back. It does help calm down his heart beat when you do this so he is thankful just never expect him to ambit it

After any horror movie he some how ends up in your arms as he nuzzles his face into you, but he mostly prefers nuzzling your stomach or arms. Only time he does this is when he falls asleep on you because lord knows how this guy love putting a tough guy per-sod

Fun fact: he actually thought those horror movies where true actions being filmed till you explained to him what acting and actors are so yea his first horror movie experience was filled with horror 💀

He’s a bit iffy on gore, I feel like he can kinda handle it but at the same time not? He just feels weird when blood splatters on the screen or when heads roll off the body. I mean he can handle it but at the same time is confused on why you like seeing your own race get slaughtered

He definitely questions your sanity with each horror movie you make him watch.

Only thing that can comfort him after a horror movie is probably you, maybe cuddling with him or staying up a bit later to watch over him as he sleeps cause if not he’ll be awake for a year 😭

Gir loves watching horror movies depending on how much horror is involved, he usually takes a spot next to you and cuddles up to you. Which annoys Zim but he can’t really say anything without being called out so he just watches from the side while crossing his arms

Overall this man is not good with horror and is so confused about it but if your like it then he guesses he can try it out, just don’t expect him to last long (￣^￣)💧

Purple:

He may horde a lot of snacks, however you can bet that not a day will go by without him making sure you’ve eaten!

He’s also very snuggly, and very possessive in that sense. A good example for this is usually when you’re talking to LITERALLY ANYONE and he comes up behind you to wrap his arms around your waist and rest his chin on top of your head with a loud purr.

He makes it obscenely clear to anyone around you that you are both in a committed relationship, and you can be sure he brags about it.

Whether you’re an irken/human/or otherwise! You’re his life mate, and he’ll be damned if he doesn’t spoil you.

Red:

He is always trying to impress you one way or another, he’d literally laser your name into the moon if you asked.

Just as physically affectionate as purple, except he shows it a tad differently! Purple can be described as koala-like with how clingy he is, but red shows it protectively! He’ll loom over you, or playfully block your way to get kisses from you- mainly expressing his place as your life mate to anyone who sees.

He personally likes to keep you on his lap or have you sit close by to him whenever they have to make important calls/or just sitting down!

And to go with that thought- Sometimes there are meetings you are unable to attend, so he will literally order one of their best soldiers to watch over you and make sure your taken care of! as well as frequently calling you to make sure everything’s okay <3

I've been having trouble with editing my drafts because, as of now, I only have the ability to edit one draft at a time until that specific draft is finished. That's why I had to screenshot this request, so I'm sorry about the inconvenience! Despite all that, I'd be happy to write something for this! And since it wasn't specified what they wanted, I went ahead and wrote some headcanons!

"Tender Hold" (Invader Zim x Affectionate!Gender Neutral Reader Headcanons)

First off, I don't think Zim would understand why you like to hold his hand at first.

On his home planet, it's quite obvious that Irkens don't enjoy things like relationships at all. They're an aggressive alien race, bent on conquering the galaxy. So I think hand-holding would be an action he simply can't understand because of his upbringing.

So, when you do grab his hands, he might think you're purposely trying to grab his attention. And when you don't want or need anything, he'll be left confused.

Why did you grab him if you didn't want something? Were you trying to distract him? Are you a clingy human?

There are many questions running through his irken mind, and he's likely to just outright ask these things.

When you tell him that you do it because it's comforting and that it feels nice, he's not entirely convinced. Why would holding his hand be comforting?

You'd have to continuously do it for him to believe you. And when he does, he'll probably just let you do it whenever. Of course, he still won't understand, and it's possible that he never will. Despite this, he knows it brings you comfort, so he'll allow it. Isn't Zim oh-so kind?

Though, I must warn you that hand-holding when he's busy, whether that's building something to control the planet or plotting against Dib, is not permitted.

"Zim is BUSY!" He'll yell, and that's the only warning you'll get before you're booted from the lab by Computer. You're free to hold Gir's paws if you want, but Zim is occupied! You can easily avoid this by backing off and simply watching Zim work. Just don't distract him!

I also don't think Zim would mind holding your hand in front of people. He doesn't understand what it might imply in the eyes of others, and he most likely doesn't care. Unless his honor is threatened, in which he'll probably just use some crazy machine on the offender.

All in all, Zim doesn't quite understand but is willing to comply; just give him space when he's busy!

(A/n: Sorry, I've been inactive, but now im gonna write on this blog. Im just gonna write invader zim shit and other stuff made by that creator.)

"Hey y/n, i got a dare for you!" One of the dumb popular girls yelled out loud to you at the lunch table.

"What is it. Im all ears!" You yelled back. Not wanting to look like a coward to your friends you agreed to it.

"I dare you to hook up with a cringe lame ass boy in this school and then break their heart after." She said confidence running through her.

"Sure, anymore details?" You asked, not gonna lie you wished you hadn't agreed. That's fucking mean. Who would even think of that.

"Ok so. Heres the plan, you get with a boy at this school. Make them fall in love with you. Then ask them out to the dance next month, and right when they announce king and queen were going to dump shit all over him then take pictures. Then after were going to post it on every single social media platform there is." The dumb girl said with a mean glint in her eye.

This made you think for a second. This was cruel. Mean. Why would you have fun doing this. But, you dont want to look like a coward to your popular friends.

The dumb girl smirked and looked around the cafeteria. She had looked for a bit and gasped with her eyes widening. She then went by you and whispered in your ear. "I know who you're going to prank."

"Oooo, who will i be pranking then?" You said with a fake smirk on your face.

"Dib membrane."

Dib membrane?! The kid believes in aliens and ghosts and paranormal shit. The kid that is the son of the professor membrane! Sure, nobody really liked him. BUT, of all people, the son of Professor Membrane! Does this girl want you to die in real life? What would happen if he gets pranked tells his father, and then his father fires your dad from working there. Then you would have no money. Your mom and dad would lose your home, and then you would be homeless. Then you would be-

"EARTH TO Y/N! Hello! Earth to y/n!!!!"

"Huh, wha-"

"So, you want to prank him or not?" The mean girl spoke with pure venom in her voice.

This was bad. You should have said no. You should have just not skipped detention. You looked at the mean girl and then sighed.

"When do i start?"

It was the end of the day, and everyone was leaving the "hi-skool." You planned on finding Dib at his Locker, then walk home with him. You live in the same exact neighborhood he does. You're basically his neighbor. But guilt filled your gut. This was gonna be mean. But you have to. Dont look like a coward, is what you say to yourself all the time now.

Going around the corner in the hallway, you see Dib at his locker fidgeting with something. You slowly walk up to him. He didn't even realize you were there until you cleared your throat.

He looked up to you in surprise. His eyes widened a bit in shock that a popular girl was right there by him.

You finally got to see his full face. He had his signature round glasses on, but he has piercings in his ears. Some pimples hear and there. You also noticed that he painted his fingernails black.

"Hey, there!" You said with a big grin. Trying to be the most welcoming you have ever been. But, he just stared at you in confusion.

"Hey....?"

Woah, you forgot that Dib is maturing. Since when did his voice not sound like a kid anymore?! You asked yourself in your thoughts. Of course, you guys were in the 12th grade. But like damn.

"Isn't your name Dib?" You said, pouting your lips out to look cute. And then, using your fingers to fidget with your long h/c that was tied up in a high pony tail.

He looked at you like you were crazy. "Yea..?" He said, confused, then he grabbed his books and shoved them in his backpack, and started to walk off.

This made you panic. Was he not into you?! You had to think and fast before he left the school.

He stared at you and said; "Look if you're trying to make fun of me, just dont ok. I know your little popular group of fake friends is around here somewhere!"

"Uh, so! What are you doing after school?" You asked, running up to him and starting to walk with him.

Actually, none of your friends were here they were at cheer practice. "Nooo, i just wanted to know what you were doing after school." You said, still fidgeting with your hair. Plus, all of my friends are at cheer practice"

He gave you a skeptical look. But, sighed. "I was going to go home." He said with slight annoyance, stirring in his voice.

"Oooo, me too. We live in the same neighborhood, we can walk together!" You said smiling again and then grabbing your purse strap.

You could tell Dib didn't want to walk with you. But, luckily, gaz walked with Dib, so he didn't talk much, nor did Gaz. But you had a trick up your sleeve.

"Hey, is that a piggy slave game?"

.

Gaz eyes widened in shock. "You know the piggy slave games?" She asked in all honesty.

"I sure do. I have 'piggy of destruction 1' and 'piggy of slaves 2' AND 'piggy of the bacon clan 3'.-" you looked around to see if anyone was listening."-i even have the 'ultimate piggy slave'."

Gaz face turned in surprise. The ultimate piggy slave was so rare to have.

Meanwhile, you and Gaz were talking. Dib was staring at you in suspension again. 'One of the popular girls is here trying to talk to Gaz and me. This is definitely Zim's doing.' Dib thought to himself.

"So, Dib, what's ya got there?" You asked, going right beside him and looking at the weird device in his hands. It looked like a controller that would control a remote car. But it had a scanner on the front, and it kept beeping. Weird symbols that you didn't recognize popped up on the little rectangle green-ish screen.

"Oh, u-uh. It's a ghost reader. It can detect ghosts and spirits. Most of the time." Dib said in a teaching tone. He was suspicious of yours, but he would never miss a moment to teach someone about the paranormal, let alone give him their attention.....

"WOW, that's cool!" You said, looking at the device with a big grin. Dib was shocked. He was ready for a smart ass remark. Or a "ghosts aren't real."

"R-really?" Dib said in shock. "You mean it?"

"Well, duh, of course. I've seen them." To this statement, Dib eyes widened, and he went right in your face and said.

"YOU HAVE?!" After that, Dib was barbonding you with questions. 'How old were you?' And 'what did it look like?' And 'were was it at?', Ect.

You thought it would be hard for him to open up to you and actually talk to you, but you thought wrong because now you have his number and Gaz. You made a mental note later to text him.

The walk to your guys neighborhood was short from Dib talking and rambling.

After walking with them up to their home. You stopped at the fence.

"Well, that was fun. I will see you guys tomorrow?" After a pause, you saw them nodding. "Well, then goodbye, Gaz! Goodbye Dib~." You said, making sure the Dib part sounded flirtatious. You could see a pink dust fall gently on his cheeks as you turned and walked along the sidewalk to your house.

Hopefully, you could get this done before the dance.

Haha, I don't relate to this at all. Definitely haven't stayed up till sunrise watching interrogation videos on YouTube. Nope, couldn't be me.

Zim x Reader who likes true crime

★ First things first, Gir cannot be in the same room as you when you listen to crime podcasts, documentaries and interrogation videos. You wouldn't want him to see all that violent stuff.

★ Zim doesn't pay a cent for the cable and streaming services he has. Don't ask him how he did it because it's probably illegal. Either way you now have access to many more documentaries and you don't have to go on shady website anymore.

★ When you first started solving the case before the show was over he was sure that you had seen it before. But no, you where just good at solving murders. He's a little impressed.

★ The two of you take turns picking what to watch when it's movie night. He likes to watch you solve whatever crime took place. He still gets a little creeped out when you point out what they should have done before they got caught.

★ " See that? He left a partial fingerprint on the glass, now they can compare it to prints in a database." This statement prompted him to collect samples of your fingerprints. For science!

★ Zims Computer has been used to look up, and has thus seen, so many atopsy and crime scene photos that it definitely desensitized by it now. You read through so many death certificates that you can understand doctors handwriting.

★ At first it would ask if you really wanted to see what you where looking up but now to just pulls up the photos without hesitation. Even photos you can't find on the sketchiest of websites are found.

★ Over time Zim might pick up the habit of listening to murder podcasts while working on something. Having a voice to listen to while he does some tedious tasks is nice, keeps him from getting bored. Plus the podcasts remind him of you.

Could I request zim x reader where the reader gets anxious during social interactions but being around zim makes them feel more comfortable/confident and he notices?

Always cool to get Invader Zim requests, anon. Though I had a really hard time deciding if I should actually do this one considering it's really hard to know if Zim's an adult or not. He's a completely different species so even if he's 18 or above in human years we have no idea how old he is in Irken time. I think he's like over a hundred, but who knows maybe that's still a kid... anyway I didn't wanna disappoint so I just made them platonic with a kid at the school!! If you really wanna read these as romantic I can't stop you or anything but just keep what I said in mind! Anyway here are your headcanons!! Enjoy!!

Everyone in school is always screaming and it makes you wanna tear your hair out

Everyone in the world is always screaming honestly

It's kinda hard to talk to anyone or make friends

(At least you're not as outcast as that weird kid who's always on his laptop and screaming about ghosts...)

A new kid shows up one day and makes a pretty big impact

All the kids come to a general consensus that he's weird and also kinda stupid

He doesn't seem to notice though, in fact he thinks he's the greatest being who ever lived

Somehow his own foolishness makes you feel better about yourself

You find yourself hanging out with him and at first he's annoyed by this

But when you try to leave he's like "wait come back you can be my minion if you want-"

He thinks he's the best and you always tell him how awesome he is even though he sucks at everything because it's funny

Also you feel kinda bad for him

If you ever find yourself struggling in social interactions he'll come and scream at you which honestly just startles you more than anything

But it's jarring enough to help you as weird as that sounds

Basically it's like hanging out with a stupid person so you seem smarter by contrast

With your weird green friend by your side there's no challenge you can't face

Actually most challenges are pretty hard

You guys should just stay home and play video games
