I agree! But I also know Comyet dislikes explicitly making characters things she doesn't go through/understand/have (atleast did, I'll nab a source for this if I can find the post). So while it's very likely, I doubt it'd be explicitly stated as *canon* that he's Asian, while him being French would be more possible to be stated as canon since Comyet is French herself.

But, I would be in no way surprised (and very happy) if she announced he is canonically Asian.

Outside of canon though, and due to his current character design + the lore around it, absolutely he's Asian lmao, no question about it.
