Idk why I took so long but I just watched Jonathan Glazers full speech and the man literally says "victims of October 7th" and "refutes his jewishness . . . Being hijacked" like did zionist twitter make someone up to be mad at. His speech was middle ground all around sympathies. Was it a crime that he said what's happening in Gaza is a result of dehumanization? Whoops i guess they don't want to start to think of the people of gaza as worthy of life as any other person but I digress

I just realized that due to the huge shift of the public opinion on Israel + the US and the overwhelming support toward Palestine worldwide that reached an all-time high, we're most likely going to enter a new era of anti-Arab and anti-Muslim propaganda from Hollywood that will rival the post-911 era depiction of the Middle East.

For the love of God, watch the movie Farha on Netflix.
It's inspired by just one of the countless horrors experienced by Palestinians during the Catastrophe of 1948.
(If you live in certain regions of Europe, you might need to use a VPN, because it’s not on their local Netflix, to absolutely no one’s surprise. Certain governments would never admit to the atrocities committed by the Zionist regime, because they enabled it. Two sides of the same coin they are, and it would involve them having to face their own selves and their own history in the mirror.)
Support the movie as Israel is jumping through hoops trying to ‘cancel’ it and ruin any chances of it seeing the light or be nominated for an Oscar.

As much I adore Noah, I wish he wasn’t careless about posting Israel. And much more disappointed how Stranger Things fans have addressed the issue. Y’all talked about homophobia and racism you see in the show but it’s “let’s stop cancel culture and mind our business” when there’s real people affected in this conflict? This isn’t just “oh he’s on a vacation and just posting pictures I don’t why you guys are offended” when it’s much more than that. There’s a reason why musicians have boycotted Israel.
I’m not ultimately crucifying Noah for what he has done nor thinks he has done something unforgivable and I should “cancel” him for it. He’s 18 and has a lot to learn and it wasn’t entirely his fault he grew up the way he grew up (white overprivileged bubble). This is clearly a touchy subject for everyone. I just hoped everyone didn’t act as if people who has criticized him was trying to “cancel” him, especially when he knows about the issue more than you give him credit for.

Chaim Topol, the actor best known for playing Tevye in ''Fiddler on the Roof,'' has died, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced. He was 87.
Netanyahu paid tribute to Topol on Thursday and conveyed his condolences, calling him a ''multi-faceted artist, with great charisma and energy.''
''Sadly, the Fiddler on the roof is no longer with us. The strings of the Fiddle have fallen silent. The story of Chaim Topol's life has been sealed but I am certain that his contribution to Israeli culture will live on for generations, " Netanyahu said in a statement. ''He greatly loved the land of Israel, and the people of Israel loved him in return.''

hey been a while
after much thought, I decided to come back here for a quick second. I can't reasonably have a platform here and not use it to talk about my Palestine.
a few (very few) people sent me an ask or a message, and I need to clarify that I am not in Palestine. my family was forced to leave its hometown in Saffuriya, Nazareth in 1984. the bigger part of our family left to Lebanon, and we left to Jordan. in 1967, a part of our remaining family went to Gaza, 18 of them died in one airstrike, not even 40 minutes ago 8 of the family members died in an airstrike.
but, saying all of that, I am physically okay. though my mental health is deteriorating and I just gave up on sugarcoating the situation so I wouldn't burden anyone.
Gaza is going through a genocide, please if after 38 days you still have not used your platform to talk about this, then know that you are never ever too late, every voice counts, no matter where or when. and if you have been active but you feel burnt out and everything is becoming exhausting to you, then please think of the people incapable of sleep because of the continuous bombing until the day comes along and they either listen to the people trapped under the rubble with their hands tied or they rescue them only to deliver them to hospitals with no electricity, fuel or water.
please, please use your voice, one person can do so much, never underestimate your power and influence.
and at the end, though this should go without saying, if you are neutral, or think this is too complicated for you to middle in or ask people to condom Hamas (or if they condom them) or straight up stand with Isr*el, then block me. you are not welcome here and I sincerely hate your guts.
