Looks like there are some Cabaret fans here, so I found my programme of Roundabout Theatre Company's production I saw many years ago.

This Broadway revival was was based on the 1993 London production, directed by Sam Mendes, and performed at Club 54!

The main cast were:

In my Hannibal rewatch, I realize I recognize this doctor - the one Will goes to with Hannibal to be tested for Encephalitis - this is the same actor that played Beka's dad in Pitch Perfect.

In Pitch Perfect he's an English teacher (I think) and I'm going to go ahead and just assume he's Hannibal's doctor friend in the future, who just happens to have a super star acapella daughter.

The commercial success of the first seasons of "Weeds" (its astoundingly good season six) spawned "Nurse Jackie" and "The Big C," i.e. dramedies led by forty-plus renowned actresses who salvage, through their sheer awesomeness, plodding and mundanely structured storylines. When Cynthia Nixon's supremely annoying character gets pregnant, you know it won't end well. When Hugh Dancy's incredibly hot cancer patient shows up at the beginning of season two, you can bet he will be dead by its end: guest-star contracts work (or: used to work) this way. It's a low-key and frequently marred pleasure.
