Pokemon Scarlet/Violet - Voice Actor Headcanons (Teal Mask and Indigo Disk Edition)

So, the version of this post I did for the main game turned out to be one of my all time most popular posts on this platform, and I'm honestly super happy about that. The majority of people seemed to really like the voices that I picked for each of the characters, and there were some fun discussions in the reblogs and comments.

So it was only a matter of time before I got around to doing the DLC characters, and now that Indigo Disc is finally out, better now than never. Pokemon obviously rarely has voice acting in the main series, so this is the next part of the series where I assign English VA's to each of the characters.

Before I get into this, there are a few points I need to reiterate, as I often do with these posts.

This is NOT CANON. These are HEADCANONS and are unofficial. It’s just a hypothetical situation. If the characters were voiced, this is who I imagine would voice them.

Every major character in the DLC is included here, so there are HEAVY SPOILERS for the game’s DLC storylines. DO NOT READ THIS POST IF YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED THE TEAL MASK OR INDIGO DISC OR DON’T WANT TO BE SPOILED.

This VA Headcanons post is SPECIFICALLY for the characters from Pokemon ScarVi's DLC. If you want to see the characters from the main game, the post is here.

As was the case with Nemona and Penny, it's highly likely that the characters will get official English VA's in Pokemon Masters. Remember that this post was constructed prior to this.

consider: the assassination classroom Danganronpa au

HAHAHAHA y’all thought I was gonna make class E kill each other?? No way. Never. Instead, I’m imagining class E as a pilot transition class between the Reserve Course and the Main Course. Their talents are HPA level, but they’re not quite the best/they have an upperclassman in the same field/theres someone from the same year being recruited in the same field.

It’s Kirigiri Jin’s pet project, in return for his eyes passing over (and aiding in the coverup) of the Kamakura Project (he doesn’t know what’s being done, just that it’s shady and involves Hinata Hajime).

Hinata Hajime is the first member of this class to be enrolled, but he first appears and introduces himself as Kamakura Izuru some days after the end of a major school break. No one really knows what’s going on with him, but Akabane Karma has never seen a challenge he can’t break or someone he can’t get a reaction out of.

Speaking of which, let’s roll call intended Ultimates, shall we? At least some major players…

A crossover where Karma Akabane is in 1A. Assassination Classroom events still happened, but for plot purposes he ends up in UA's hero course. - He could be quirkless - If he's not quirkless, maybe a quirk that has nothing to do with fighting physically but maybe something to do with his puppet master abilities. Basically, if you remember the second arc with Itona Horibe, something to do wit that. Or he's quirkless and got in using skills from assassination classroom + intelligence - ships could be either a crossover ship, or an assassination classromship, i personally like him with Asano Jr, can't remember for sure but I'm pretty sure it's gakushuu, or Nagisa - Karma being one of the few people in 1A who doesn't underestimate Midoriya, not because he was in the same group for the entrance exam, but because he knows Nagisa, so knows just because someone seems harmless, or weak, doesn't mean they are. - Also in this AU I imagine heroes would've been sent after Korosensei as well, so maybe they know about Karma's involvement. Even if they don't I'm pretty sure everyone knows they were taught by him - Assassination classroom character cameos. - His relationship with Bakugo would be quite interesting. I imagine he'd love to annoy him and would treat him somewhat similar to Terasaka, if that's his name, but Bakugo's smarter, so I imagine they'd get along better. Also, he would never just do as Karma tells him, but I do imagine that a plan made by the two of them would be incredibly well thought out, as long as Midoriya isn't against them. And a plan that uses Midoriya's analysis, and Bakugo and Karma's intelligence, would probably be unbeatbale and terrifying. - i did initially think he'd be a Todoroki but I don't think he has to be for this plan to work. But if not, a lot of people headcanon that Karma is abused or neglected, i'm saying headcanons because i don't remember that being part of the headcanon. If you go with this maybe he notices some similarities between him and Todoroki - This isn't needed, but I just think it would be interesting if, when Bakugo is kidnapped, they kidnap Karma too, and this leads to assassination classroom characters trying to save him, while the 1A people try to save them both. They're all succesful - The former 3-E possibly all being quirkless, and this ostracising them even more? - Also Karma is either a loner or Bakusquad. I'm sorry, I know Dekusquad can be badass, but unless he's there for Stain, I'm pretty sure he'd be unaware Iida tried to kill a man. Or maybe it would become his mission to stress out Iida as much as possible. - Also, when they first see Bakugo a lot of people think he's a delinquent, which is fair, but in this universe Karma exists, and he is so much worse. Like he doesn't bully people but he does provoke them and, when it comes to enemies, he's very sadistics. Also, he can and will kill a man if he has to, and fights a lot. That on top of generally rebellious behaviour. - Oh, Bakugo hates him so much, he's so much worse behaved than him and possibly quirkless, but he still manages to draw/beat him in academics and doesn't even seem to study. all the high achievers hate hime a little. Unfortunately for Bakugo, he's Karma's favourite person to torment and he acknowledges Bakugo's intelligence. You know what that means? Academic rivalry - you can have him befriend anyone you want really. I'm curious to see who people think he'd be friends with. - Also, if he's quirkless, or even if he's not, give him weapons or something - Have him be badass. Have everyone be badass. - Idk how you'll do it in terms of class sizes, whether you'll have someone (most commonly Mineta) expelled/ not be there, or if you'll just come up withsome BS reason to add someone else. - Feel free to add Shinso to the class somewhat - Can either be mostly canon with slight changes to acknowledge Karma's presence, because let's face it, when villains show up, he's one of the first to step forward and challenge or provoke or fight them, He doesn't run from a fight, or as AU as you like, writer's choice. - For some reason, i really can see him fitting in with the Bakusquad, and I feel like he'd be a bit wary of Midoriya? I don't think that's necessarily the word but he'd just constantly be waiting for Madoriya to do something badass or dangerous. As i said, he's friends with Nagisa - Also Midoriya, if he's quirkless kind of looking up to/being scared of him, because here is a quirkless kid, on the hero course (something Midoriya was more or less told wouldn't be possible all his life), who isn't scared of and even provokes Bakugo, who refused tol let himself be bullied due to being quirkless, who never backs down from a fight even when he probably should. - Also, once they move into UA dorms, class 1A as family and bonding moments, and maybe Karma tells them about Korosensei and assassination classroom and middle school in general, just cause i'm curious how they'd react to that, especially since I imagine Korosensei would've been a villain or treated like a villain in this AU, so to hear from one of the people who had him as a teacher, from Karma, the full real story of Korosensei, I imagine it would take off some of the black and white world view. - Also, i don't really care what you do with Endeavour, whether you redeem him or make him worse, or have him be like canon but Todoroki not forgive him (just because you're sorry and changing, it doesn't erase the past and Todoroki wouldn't be in the wrong if he chose not to forgive him), that's entirely up to you. - Also Nakamura and Mina friendship? I don't know why I just think they'd be besties - As i said Karam & Bakusquad friendship, because none of them are scared of him and all of them enjoy riling him up and provoking him, whether accidentally or on purpose. - If you make Karma quirkless, maybe highlight the similarities and differences between him and Midoriya, and their experiences - I just think, in a world like My Hero Academia someone like Karma, or a group of people like quirkless class 3-E, would be really interesting to read about. Also even if class 3-e isn't quirkless, they could have "weak" quirks that don't really do much/ aren't equipped to hero work. Mybe some of them go to a different hero school and they meet when getting their hero licenses, or Asano is sent to a hero school and they fight or something during hero license thing, and they both have to do the remedial class things. I'm sorry i ship Akabane/Asano more than i probably should.

Fandom Saturday, Assassination Classroom!

It's hard to come up with something that I haven't already read about when it comes to analyzing Assassination Classroom, but here it is.

It's been said that Assassination Classroom is one of the easiest fandoms to write fanfiction about. You could insert just about any OC or other fandom character into the story and, boom, you got a whole new version of the anime. While this is true, I think it's more than just being able to insert some random person.

I think it's the characters that make it so easy.

Assassination Classroom is so well developed, so complete, that I wouldn't dare ask for a continuation. And yet, there is an endless amount of things you can do for fanfiction here. It's easy to imagine the lives the kids had before they landed in 3-E. Because you get to witness them work past the trauma and start to take their own paths in life. And then, it's easy to see where they go after that. And they're all believable.

With where the anime leaves off, every one of those students has at least a few paths any fan can imagine them going on. Even the smallest of characters have clear futures because of how the events of 3-E changed them. And it's not just one path. In a lot of cases it's many.

Assassination Classroom is so easy to write fanfiction for because the characters aren't just cardboard cutouts doing what you need them to do when you need them to do it. They have feelings, thoughts you can clearly hear, quirks, preferences, weaknesses, strengths, and it's easy to flesh them out in fanfiction because the foundation Matsui gave us is so strong. That, and the variety of personalities we have available to us makes it easy to pick someone you relate to most and then write them out in a new situation, or in the future, or in their past.

Their lives are both concrete and variable.

You know Nagisa has issues with his mom. You know Karma, for the most part, lives alone. You know Hazama hates her name and loves the darkness. You know Itona would sooner abandon the Horibe name and start his own career path. You know that Terasaka is more than just a bully. Nakamura's not just another dumb blonde. Maybe Okajima really is just a pervert, but you know, every anime needs one. Or two. (Nakamura) Or three. (Korosensei)

Even characters that got less than an episode of screen time seem to have enough to go on. (See the fic I posted yesterday, Seeing Red.)

It's been said before how good they are, and how amazing it was for Matsui to endear us to so many of the students in such a short amount time, but they're good because they're complete. They're real. They do things whether or not you're watching and it's easy to see once you finally look.

Anyway, when it comes characterization and development, I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone who did it better than Matsui for so many characters. Assassination Classroom really is… one of a kind. Thanks for joining me on Fandom Saturday. Who's the most likely (in E-class) to become a Yandere?

I know the most likely answer would be Karma but I think that Itona or Takebayashi would become the E-3 yanderes.

Itona for sure would be the kind of yandere that would stalker his lover at first and then be the kind of creep that watches them sleep at night and steal items like their panties or old clothes. He wouldn’t be afraid to hurt them either. Once he’s got them in the basement of his house (which would be cold and like a cage) he would condition them through pain and treats as he gets his lover normalized to this kind of relationship. He would go through many technological measures to make sure they never got away from him, he can’t bare letting someone else he loves leave him like his parents did.

Takebayashi is the kind of yandere that’s cold and calculating. He would be fine with watching from afar and “protecting” you like a good lover. He would have no qualms over being the shadow that killed all his rivals for your attention or anyone who opposed you. He’d probably even kill the teachers who gave you a bad mark or the merchants who scammed you out of your money. He’d never show himself to you but at times you can feel someone’s eyes on you and it’s unnerving. If you ever found his room/hideout, you’ll find all of the illicit photos he’s taken of you as well as notebooks full of research on you, from basic things like your home and likes and dislikes to the more specific things such as your past relationships and current and former friends.

Drawings of you (Itona x GN reader)

(Name) sat across from Itona, sketching as he worked on his blueprints for a new prototype. "Hey, do you think this looks okay?" (Name) turns the sketchbook towards him. "Yeah, but I think you should make the nose and face a bit bigger." Itona pointed out before looking back at his blueprints. "Hmm, you think? Yeah, you're right!" (Name) smirked, erasing and redraw the sketch. Karma came up to them, slinging an arm around their shoulder. "Hey~ Nice drawing." He grinned. "Really? You think so?" They

"Yeah. Mind if I borrow this?" "Uh, sure?" (Name) watched as Karma walked towards Teraska, smirking.

"(Name). The blueprints are done." Itona called out. "Really? Lemme see!" They ran over to him excitedly. Draping thier arms around itona's shoulders, they leaned over to observe the blueprints. "Wow. These are really good, I'm sure it'll be a success."

It was currently lunch, Itona was hanging out with the Tearsaka gang, and (name) was sitting at their desk, lunch forgotten as they were absent-mindedly drawing. "Nice drawing, sort of reminds me of a certain boy~" Nakamura's voice pulled (name) from their daydream. "What?" They turned to Nakamura. "Looks like our little (name)'s in love~" She grinned slyly. "What? No! Itona is just...he's aesthetically pleasing to look at..." They denied, but Nakamura didn't miss the blush on their face. "You sure about that?" "Yes!" (Name) stood up, putting their notebook in their school bag and grabbing their lunch before stomping off.

Nakamura smirked, grabbing (name)'s sketchbook from their bag and flipped it open, looking at the drawings. "Wow, looks like it's mostly Itona." She takes the sketchbook and hands it to Itona. "Hey, (name) asked me to give this to you~" Itona grabbed the sketchbook. "Feel free to look through it! (Name) said they were fine with it."

Itona flipped through the sketchbook, looking at the drawings of their classmates, animals, scenery, and of course the drawing of Teraska they drew earlier, but what he noticed was a majority was of himself. Drawings of Itona, from him working on his inventions, to him just sitting at his desk. "Ah! Itona, what are you looking at!?" (Name) ripped the sketchbook from his hands, holding it close. "Your drawings are amazing." (Name) turned away, a faint blush on their cheeks. "Why did you have my sketchbook anyway?" "Nakamura gave it to me, saying you told me to look through it if I wanted." He deadpanned. 'Damnit Nakamura!' They silently cursed the sly blonde. "You don't find it creepy that I drew you?" "Why would I find that creepy?" Itona frowned "Because you like me? If so I don't really care." "Because I like- wait, you knew I liked you?" (Name) blushed furiously. "It wasn't hard to figure out. Besides, I like you too (name). Want to go out?" He asked. "Sure, but don't look through my sketchbook anymore. Especially if Nakamura tells you too." They looked to the ground. "Because I'd see all the drawings you did of me secretly?" Glaring at him, (name) punched him in the arm. "Shut up!" They blushed.

"It's okay. I think it's cute how much you like me." Itona patted their head.

Your closest friends invited you to a popular karaoke bar on one Friday night to celebrate a successfully passed semester in college. Of course, you couldn’t forget about your lovely boyfriend, who was at the same university, but in a different field (i.e. Japanese literature) and always supported you with all his might, knowing how much you want to do your dream job in the future.

So you went to the meeting together, and on the way to the designated place you talked all the time about what the next year of study would bring you. As soon as you reached the room where your three closest besties and one male friend were waiting for you, you both greeted them warmly, immediately taking off your thick coats and taking your seats on a soft, leather couch next to a table filled with tasty-looking snacks and colorful drinks.

Long minutes of conversations between the six of you resulted in drunk plenty of alcohol and blushes on the faces. After drinking, you always got more talkative and more self-confident, so you suggested using the TV and the karaoke machine. Of course, you first offered your friends and Ken to sing something, but they all declined, saying that you should start as an initiator. One of the girls, blonde-haired Minami, smiled at you with a sparkle in her pretty golden eyes, adding that you are the best in this and you should show how to do it correctly. You chuckled in response, waving your hand at her to dismiss compliment.

Kaneki, on the other hand, frowned as he looked at the boy who was sitting on his right.

“... Oh, you don’t know? Y/N-san hasn’t yet praised herself to you that she has a wonderful voice? Huh, huh.” The black-haired boy shook his head, reaching for the glass filled with blue something again. “Hmmm, well. Normally Y/N’s very shy, but she always sings at trips when she’s drunk.” He chuckled while you picked one of your favorite songs in the meantime. So everyone looked at your standing figure, then heard the characteristic sounds from one of Selena Gomez’s songs coming from the gray speakers.

“My dear, I dedicate it to you~!” You looked with joy on your face towards the eighteen-year-old, giving him a quick wink, and then you started your little performance with ‘Love you like a love song’ from the above-mentioned artist.

Your friends didn’t seem surprised and instead started clapping to the beat of the music... but Ken’s eyes widened and he spat out his high-percentage drink, not knowing how to react to the fact that for nine, long months of your relationship, you concealed the fact that you could sing so well and so beautifully. Your voice was perfect for the song that was playing now, and you seemed to be having a great time – there was a huge smile on your lips, your eyelids were slightly closed and your hand was over your heart. If it weren’t for the fact that you were at a karaoke bar, everyone would definitely think you are playing a concert on the biggest stage in Tokyo city.

After the song was over, another girl got up to present a completely different choice, and you handed her the dark microphone, bowing in the process.

Kaneki still seemed speechless and as soon as you sat down next to him, he immediately kissed you on the warm forehead, asking you to sing more to him, especially when you two are going to be alone, because he probably fell in love with you once again and just wanted to experience that love every day thereafter.

Nishiki, as a pharmacy student, didn’t have much time for extra-curricular activities or unnecessary meetings; in addition, the fact that he was a bloodthirsty ghoul and had to watch over himself made it difficult for him to function normally in the life of Kamii University. However, the brown-haired man always found time for you, for his beloved girlfriend.

You had been dating for over three, long years, and the man definitely couldn’t imagine his own life without you by his side. You knew each other better than anyone else in this world, but sometimes some tiny things of your ordinary day eluded Nishio; of course you understood it perfectly and you weren’t angry or disappointed with him. After all, he had to protect himself, you, take care of his specific menu, be vigilant at every step, and additionally he had to pretend to be the perfect student, senpai (or kouhai) and friend of other people.

So you weren’t surprised when one day you handed him a silverish ticket for probably the most important show of your life and he just looked at you in wonderment. At the beginning, the twenty-year-old asked if it was a performance related to singing or playing an instrument due to the fact that the colorful paper didn’t tell him too much, but you just smirked as you tweaked the unruly, soft hair on his head.

“Hmm. If you don’t remember what I do in my free time, it’s even better, I guess. Come and see it for yourself, honey. I think that thanks to this you will even calm down a little and rest due to the recent weeks.” You announced in a light tone of voice, and the young man sighed under his breath.

“So... I’ll find out in three days, am I right?” He made sure by correcting his glasses and you nodded, then grabbing his rough hand and kissing his cool cheek. A short while later you suggested going to your apartment and catching up on a few episodes of your favorite series that you started quite recently.

The anticipation of your important day passed very quickly and on Saturday, at 6 p.m., when everyone took their seats (with your boyfriend sitting on one of the balconies with the best view of the stage), delicate music was played in the theater, which made everyone shiver on the whole body. Until then, the brown-eyed boy somewhere in the back of his head had the impression that it was a theater performance or an opera, but when he saw your person appear on stage in a beautifully tailored dress and ballet shoes, all the questions that flickered in his mind disappeared in literally one second.

‘Well, yeah. I remember now. She always told me about ballet classes and new shoes.’ A huge, proud smirk came on his pale face and you glanced out of the corner of your eye towards his VIP seat.

Though your expression was cold and composed, you felt an enormous heat in your small heart as the man waved at you, showing two thumbs up. His lips moved even slightly, and although Nishiki tried to hide it, you knew perfectly well that the pink blush and mute ‘I love you’ was sincere and even better than being able to play Odetta, the White Swan, in a ballet spectacle.

Christmas at school was never what you enjoyed; maybe due to the fact that before, your classmates on main campus were quite specific and you definitely didn’t fit with their strange ‘ideals’. It was only in the class E that you felt that you could find real friends or people who would share your ideas.

But, hmm. Still, you seemed to stand out from the rest of the girls in the class who had more... down-to-earth hobbies or characters than you; Okuda liked chemistry and was really excellent at it, Kirara loved reading, Rio was the best at English and had a great sense of fashion, and Toka was pretty good at cooking. Contrary to them, you preferred to... do more ‘intimate’ things. Writing short poems filled your heart with peace and prevented you from being as critical of yourself as usual. And when you wrote the lyrics of the songs, made notes or melodies to them and sang quietly, you could feel like a real artist that everyone wanted to admire and imitate.

Therefore, when your first and last class holidays with the rest of the 3-E students were fast approaching, Koro-sensei was the one who asked you for a short talk. You weren’t sure what this was about, but moments later your uncertainties were dispelled.

“Y/N-san, I think you mistook your notebooks today and instead of giving me your homework, you gave to me... this.” He said in his as always happy voice, and seeing the black notebook in which you always wrote songs and notes, you blushed all over your face, apologizing profusely for the mistake. “Huh? But this is no mistake, my dear. If it weren’t for this, I would never even think that we have such a talented soul in Class 3-E. So would you like to perform in front of the rest of the students and teachers during the holidays?” The easy question made you widen your eyes and sighed.

“I-I’ve never played in front of anyone, so...” You admitted shyly, and the tall, yellow octopus just chuckled.

“I’m pretty sure they will love it. We can practice together.”

Well, you couldn’t refuse (especially when Koro-sensei offered to bring your favorite, foreign snacks...) and on class Christmas day you showed up with your acoustic guitar and a notebook full of chords and songs. Everyone was surprised and curious at how well you play guitar. After all, you’ve never even mentioned that you can play any instrument before. On the other hand, the class representative, and your boyfriend at the same time, immediately came up to you, asking if you were really okay; better than anyone else, Isogai knew that you didn’t like too much attention and big crowds. But you reassured him it was okay and promised your teacher you would do it, so you smiled at him and then took your seat under the blackboard with a wooden guitar on your lap.

The song you chose for the day was a song you wrote quite recently. It had a little bit of magic, and at the same moment it seemed very romantic and delicate. Even Karma seemed delighted with your beautiful play and soft voice that echoed from time to time between the walls of huge classroom.

At the end of the song, you decided to raise your gaze and simultaneously look at your all friends, three teachers and other half; everyone was really happy and positively speechless. So you gave Yuuma a slight wink, making him blush sweetly.

The young teenager definitely hoped you would show him more of your songs someday, not necessarily the happy Christmas carols Kaede and Ritsu asked for.

— ITONA (ft. dancing)

“... You never mentioned that you can dance.” He admitted softly, and you squeezed his smooth hand tighter.

“So... I mention it right now. It’s not a big deal, baby. I just ... like it and enjoy it a lot.” You giggled as you correcting the black sports bag over your shoulder, then opened the heavy door to the training room, immediately jumping up at the sound of loud squeals and greetings from your closest friends. “Guys, this is Itona Horibe, my boyfriend that I told to you before! Love, it’s Aki-chan, Yui-chan, Kazuya-kun, Saburo-kun, and our cameraman and editor Ryuu senpai. Most often, the five of us cooperate with each other when it comes to dance in groups of five people. And... today we are going to cover a song so I hope you’ll like it. I’ll go change and you all, please, don’t scare my boyfriend and give him something to drink!”

As a group leader, you often came up with choreographies and warm-ups for yourself and others. So, it couldn’t be otherwise this time. For the last week and a half you have been practicing the choreo you came up with and today you were supposed to record material for the video on your quite popular YouTube account. You were extremely excited, not only with the new content, but most of all with the fact that your beloved one would be able to watch it live and evaluate your skills that have been refined over the years. So as soon as you got back to the teens waiting for you, you kissed the light-blue-haired quickly on the right cheek and told him that he could sit against the wall, close to the table full of snacks and the contact for charging the phone.

Then you talked with everyone for a while, doing a short warm-up and reminding the cameraman about how to move the cam. A few short minutes later, you lined up in the middle of a huge white room with Ryuu in front of you. You knelt down in the center, of course, gently moving your shoulders to calm your rapidly pounding heart and heavy breathing, and when a song by Ariana Grande started playing all over the bright room, you all looked at the already activated camera, shaking your heads and then you got up from the wooden floor.

Itona... was speechless. He has never seen people dancing before, he has never even been interested in others, only you and what you like. Today he got to know your little passion, which turned out to be a breathtaking talent, and the boy wondered if you could do anything else; are you good at one specific dance genre or are you able to move your body in a completely different rhythm than he currently saw?

From Koro-sensei’s history lessons, when you two were in junior high, the eighteen-year-old remembered perfectly well that there is also classical dance, tango and breakdance. So could you also do that? He had to ask you about it later.

But now his curious gaze was focused on you and your huge, radiant smile, and the sound of feet hitting the ground. He also looked at your legs, tiny hands, stomach, and hair, while he wondered if he might learn to dance too, to be even closer to you and your hobby. After all, you looked so beautiful and so joyful... He wanted to share these emotions.

Assassination Classroom: AU Idea

Ajin/Tokyo Ghoul:

Okay, so I really love the concept of both Ajin and Tokyo Ghoul so it was only natural that I’d start thinking of AU ideas for Assassination Classroom using those concepts.

I’ve only thought about ideas for a few of the Assassination Classroom characters, feel free to add your own if you have any.

Tadaomi Karasuma - Human

I feel as though Karasuma would be a regular human in almost every variation of this AU. As part of the Ministry of Defense I feel as though he would be knowledgeable on both Ajins and Ghouls, would he necessarily know about the experiments? He’d likely know that it was a thing but he wouldn’t know everything that happens during them.

As for how he would interact with them, I think he’d be civil if he was working with one but his overall attitude would definitely depend on how long the assignment lasted as well as how much actual interaction he has with them. Just to clarify, I doubt he’d be hostile towards an Ajin or Ghoul without good reason, but his knowledge on what they’re capable of would definitely be a constant factor in how he interacts with one.

Irina Jelavic - Human

Again, I think Irina would be a regular human in quite a few variations of this AU. As an assassin I feel as though she would’ve encountered a few Ajins and Ghouls and she would probably know some of their weaknesses, assuming some of her targets fell in either category.

Judging by her preferred assassination methods, I doubt she would be outwardly hostile to either of them unless they’re able to see through her act, at which point I feel like the hostility would stem more from knowing that her usual methods won’t work. I do think she would be more wary of Ajins than Ghouls considering her occupation but I don’t think her reactions to either would be too different.

Korosensei - ???

This one was the trickiest out of the characters I’ve already thought about ideas for. I highly doubt Korosensei would be an Ajin considering the plot of Assassination Classroom but I’m not 100% on whether or not he’d be a Ghoul. I’m leaning more towards him being a human (well, before he was turned into a mutant octopus anyway). I feel as though he would know the most about Ajins and Ghouls, especially if some of them were in his class.

I feel as though he would easily be the most accepting of Ajins and Ghouls considering both his past and current status as a former lab rat. He would definitely be proactive in helping them learn to live alongside humans as well as trying to find other things that Ghouls might be able to eat.

Kirara Hazama - Human

Honestly I could see all three options working for Hazama but I personally prefer the idea of her being human in the AU. I feel as though she’d definitely know all of the theories people have regarding Ajins and Ghouls, would she necessarily believe all of them? No, does she find them interesting? Yes.

Hirara would definitely be chill with both of them since they both have horror vibes associated with them. I think she’d probably be more excited at the idea of meeting a Ghoul than she would an Ajin but overall she doesn’t really care, she’d probably acknowledge they aren’t regular humans but she wouldn’t make a big deal out of it.

Yuzuki Fuwa - Human

Honestly everything I have to say about Fuwa is very similar to what I said about Hazama. She probably wouldn’t look into the theories about them unless she personally knew an Ajin or Ghoul, I do think she’d probably have her own theories though (obviously all of them influenced by anime & manga).

I think she would be pretty excited at the concept of meeting one and she definitely strikes me as the type to try and harbor one or two.

Karma Akabane - Ajin

Karma definitely strikes me as someone who’s been in his own fair share of fights that he hasn’t been able to win. As for how he found out about his status? We already know that his parents don’t spend much time with him so I imagine his first death was either as a result of picking one too many fights or due to a failed attempt at looking after himself, so he would’ve been fairly young when he found out. It also means that it would be unlikely for anyone else to know about it. I also think he’d definitely use his status to further unnerve people since it means he doesn’t really have to worry about dying.

I feel as though becoming an Ajin wouldn’t really have much of an impact on how he views others. His attitude towards others is largely based on how dangerous he considers them to be in relation to himself (and his friends) so the whole not being able to die thing? Yeah, safe to say he doesn’t really keep his guard up unless he feels he risks being exposed.

Kaede Kayano - Ghoul

Honestly I feel as though being a Ghoul or regular human would fit Kayano equally but I find the idea of her being a Ghoul interesting. As a Ghoul she doesn’t really have any major issues with eating people but she makes a point of only eating those who are already dead. She also strikes me to be the kind of person who forgets there are certain things she can’t eat, she definitely tries to eat sweet things only to regret it instantly.

I think her attitudes towards others would stem more from the way they treat her, not necessarily what they are. While she tries to avoid killing people I imagine she wouldn’t have any issues with hunting down those who tried to hurt her (or her friends) first.

Itona Horibe - Ghoul

Itona was probably the easiest character to figure out in the context of this AU. I doubt he would’ve participated in Shiro’s experiments but he still had a brief partnership with him if only to ensure his status as a Ghoul wasn’t revealed. Unlike Kayano, he doesn’t have too many issues with hunting but he does avoid killing anyone who might be missed.

I feel as though Itona would probably have a varied attitude towards people. He views regular humans as weak and definitely wouldn’t make much of an effort to speak to one unless they started the conversation. He doesn’t really have any major issues with Ajins but he finds the whole not being able to die thing unnerving initially but I can definitely see him becoming jealous of it. I also imagine that he wouldn’t get along too well with other Ghouls largely due to potentially needing to share a food source.

Nagisa Shiota - Ajin / Half-Ghoul

Honestly? I just like the idea of Nagisa being a Half-Ghoul like Kaneki and an Ajin. He’d definitely find it easier to accept being an Ajin than he would a Ghoul (even with the new eye colour) but I think he’d come to terms with both quickly. We all know about his home life so I don’t really think I need to explain how he finds out. I feel as though he’d definitely try to avoid eating people for as long as possible and he’d probably use his status as an Ajin to help with that.

I can’t really see Nagisa treating Ghouls and Ajins any differently than he would a regular person. I also imagine that any prejudice he may have will be directed at himself, not Ajins and Ghouls in general.
