being into sherlock holmes is so stupid like. yeah here's my blorbo, you don't know him. you think you do, but unless you've systematically fallen in love with him through the personal writings of his retired army doctor best friend you really don't. yeah. he's one of the most popular and well known characters in the world. I have interacted with at least 60% of the current fans. hey do you think he associates the sounds of waterfalls with death? do you think he'll ever get over that? I won't. good talk

I think Vivienne as a Divine is interesting because she really isn't faithful. You ask her about her faith and the Chantry, and her response is always a pragmatic argument about how people should live or about the Chantry as a political body. She never professes any belief at all in the Chant as scripture.

The 30′s episodes in c2: In our mutual acknowledgment that we’ve been going about things in ways that are A Bit Fucked Up, with much deliberation, and on the condition you still Do Not Ask abt my personal history, I’ve decided to trust you to hold me accountable in an attempt to do better moving forward. Maybe you’ll allow me to do the same? Oh and btw we still think you’re SUPER cagey - could you stop making blood pacts maybe? :/
The 30′s episodes in c3: We’ve only known each other for less than a couple months but we’re family and you all know me better than I know myself. We would and have died to keep each other safe, and those left that *haven’t* died would go through literal hell to return those that did to life. A couple of you have outright tried to kill the rest of us but honestly nbd! we all have bad days :)

i keep thinking how Mhok is described as a "bad boy" by everyone around him (including himself) when he is actually 'warm and nice'
that makes me think of how everyone described (you guessed it) pat as 'angry and fierce eyes' but he was the biggest golden retriever sunshine boy of them all
and i just think that's a neat parallel

I'm so intrigued by how BH is questioned on who leads them in every new interaction. It's a fair question for an NPC to have, and although this is far from the first time we've heard it in any campaign, it just happens in c3 so often.
They all have such a wide range of skills that whoever takes point in the group really depends on the circumstances. They've also been very good at approaching decisions as a group and combining their abilities for greater attacks in battle or to aid each other in danger.
But for some reason, 9 times outta 10, people seem real insistent that there must be one sole leader.

When you ask Spamton about the Knight, he says "SPEAKING OF [[Communion]]". Communion means "the sharing or exchanging of intimate thoughts and feelings, especially when the exchange is on a mental or spiritual level."
Guys, I don't think Kris   is the Knight, I think we're  the knight.

Robert saying that Klaus is somehow happy the other siblings can't see Ben because he likes to have some kind of dominion over their dynamic and relationship (hinting that he is jealous of it) is making me feel. things.
He also very honestly underlines that the power he holds on Ben is unbalanced and unfair, which I'm grateful for because this makes the toxicity in their relationship stand out as something not malicious, but still accountable. You can love someone so deeply you end up abusing the ascendant you have over them for the sole purpose of keeping them locked, close to you, which is obviously not good - but it's real. It happens. I myself have been on the other end of the line.
In view of this, the scenes where Klaus straight up tells the others that Ben is not there while he actually is feel kind of different, don't they? They never sat right with me because I wasn't happy with the idea of Klaus wanting to "alienate" Ben just to upset him, but Robert's analysis kind of changed everything.
He is of course doing it out of selfishness, but Klaus probably wants to be the only one Ben can interact with because Ben is the only special thing he has at this point, and he doesn't want to share him.
A toxic relationship is never to be excused, but it can be dug into, and I'm glad they are doing exactly this with Klaus and Ben. There is so much to unpack.

I can't help but wonder what would have happened if four had made it back to after he killed Bart. Would Craydl just sit back and let him torture three? Would he have tried to cover for Three, maybe even by revealing Nathaniel and Jude and trying to claim that Three actually did do what he was supposed to? Would four have bought that? Would three have gone along with it?
man i hadn't even considered the possibilities of that before reading this... consequence of trying to stick as close as possible to canon i guess, the roadmap of that whole sequence was already written by somebody else.
but yeah things would probably shake out VERY different if that were the case. CRAYDL revealing Jude and Nathaniel in order to cover for Three but then consequently exposing Jude and Nathaniel to the shitshow of Three and Four... idk idk but damn it'd be messy as hell. definitely would've changed Three's dynamic with Jude and Nathaniel though, not sure if it'd be for the better.
