a/n: lmao ig im just gonna have to ignore that hate ive been getting! I'm gonna write for nct dream this time because for some reasons some MOA's are not being very kind towards my work. That is not an attack towards MOA because I am one of the biggest MOA's I know...it's jut not fair that some of the people I should be cool with are being so incredibly rude...over and over. anyways, that is all from me on that. please enjoy! as always, requests are open!

he thinks it's so cute, especially if you teach little ones (kindergarten/1st grade)

he loves asking you about your classroom and how your work is going

he even helps you grade students assignments and he loves seeing what they say on their assignments

he also likes seeing their art work

he meets your students when you have a classroom part and he helps you set up

they immediately start to ask 100 questions, like kids do, ad he is totally okay with it.

he enthusiastically answers all their questions and they love him

they always ask for him every day after that

renjun thinks it's funny if you teach middle school

he is too good at listening to what happened during your day

he laughs at all the stories of students running around and causing chaos

he love's looking at the assignments you give them and tries to do them himself

he whines when he can't get something right and whines even more when you tell him you students got 100% on that question

he's one that thinks you teaching the older ones is cool

you're actually a college professor so he think's that's WAY cooler

he enjoys hearing you talk about the subject you teach and love's to hear you talk about your students and the assignments you gave them

when you offer to give him a your of the campus you work at, he is jumping at the chance

he even buys gear from the university you work at and wears it all the time (the letterman style jacket you got him is his favorite! he wear's it often and even wore it during a soundcheck of one of nct dream's concerts).

you bump into a few students and say hello, introducing jeno as your boyfriend

you teach kindergartners and he adores it

you helps you set up the different bulletin boards in your classroom and helps you organize/set up everything else

he loves to ask you about your lesson plans and you always ask him for ideas for activities and he helps you every time

he really want's to meet the little ones so after the year is done and they are graduating, he attends the event

they ask you, "teacher, who is that handsome man you were with? is that your boyfriend?"

they all giggle and go "ooooo!" and you tell them yes, that's him!

they run to meet him after the ceremony

he would probably find it interesting if you teach high schoolers

since the first time you told him about all your students, he always asks about them and want's you to update them about how they're doing

his favorite thing to do for your students is to send them stuff!

he gives you money so you can buy them snacks for your classroom (and other supplies! my teachers in high school always had sanitary pads, tampons, snacks, and other stuff in them in case students needed them)

he wants to help you make sure your students feel safe in their classroom

he also funds the senior pizza party at the end of the year and even makes an appearance!

I believe Chenle is also good with little ones since he's always posting with his family (especially his, I believe, little nephew)

he love's helping you choose coloring pages for your students to do when they're done with their minute math sheets (the stress it causes is always rewarded with coloring time!)

he also likes to buy nice supplies for you students

you tell hi not to do it, because kids love to break things and lose them, but he doesn't listen

he love's going supply shopping (he get's all the brand names like Crayola :0)

he also helps grade assignments!

you teach middle school and he loves it

he loves hearing the stories of your students acting out during class because it makes him giggle

just give him a glare and he will stop laughing at your misfortune

he helps you grade their papers

sighs every time he get's a that says 'idk'

it's all fun and games until get's those papers...then he wants to flip the kitchen table other and help you quit your job

because he knows how much they stress you out, he's always making sure you're distressing at home.

fetching you a warm cup of coffee/tea, making/buying dinner, giving you massages, helping you with other class stuff.

Do you have any secret tips for restaurants or cafés for a trip to Paris?

Dear Paris Anon,

I am happy and amused you ask me this question. Happy, because I have been calling Paris home for six years: that means there are places where I was madly kissing a beautiful (and cruel) boy from Bastia, places where I walked at night drunk as a boiled owl with people who are still in my life, places where I regularly went shopping or having an endless coffee with friends and places I was entrusted with, like precious jewels. Amused, because to be honest, Paris is probably the last French destination I could think of for an enjoyable week-end en amoureux (I suppose you want to go as a couple?), right now: it is overpriced as hell (the Olympics are round the corner), dirty and seedy (I was shocked, last time I visited and Manu Macron, my old acquaintance of yore, spoke about parking all the homeless outside of town during the Games 'for aesthetic reasons' - the boy never had a sense of humor, trust me on this one).

I shall give you 5 restaurants and 5 cafés (oh God, why didn't you ask me about Bangkok, instead?). Many of them are on the Left Bank (all of my addresses were there, simply because the closer to the university, the better).

Five restaurants: as it happens in Rome (where the gap is truly tragic), I will try and recommend places where locals go. You will find a menu in English everywhere, but at least try the holy trinity of bonjour, l'addition (the check) et merci. All the Parisian waiters are sourer than the Politburo and insolent as highway robbers, but do not be deterred by their manners. Order away.

Le Relais de Venise - son entrecôte (271 Bd Pereire, 75017). It is not in the center. They do not take reservations. You will be met with a long line of people patiently waiting (Seinfeld style) to get in. They have a minimal set menu (which is always a very good sign: https://relaisdevenise.com/menus/set-menu.php). The waitresses are kind and dressed like 1920's maids. It will be the damn best entrecôte-frites you've ever had (their sauce is a secret). Nothing changed there since 1959. Double check opening times and plan accordingly: you will need a taxi and plenty of time ahead. Almost a bargain for its stellar performance. The London one is a sad spin off.

Le Soufflé (36 rue du Mont Thabor, 75001). An original choice, but oh so good! They only cook soufflés (not exactly a pudding, but a pudding angels must have on a daily basis). Very reasonably priced for Paris (set menus at 40 and 55 euros - https://www.lesouffle.fr/bienvenue/home/menu/). If you want to eat à la carte, I recommend le soufflé Henri IV (cheese soufflé with chicken & mushrooms sauce) : it is heaven.

La Jacobine (59-61 Rue Saint-André des Arts, 75006). You will find tourists in this one, it is always full. Service is impeccable. Do not bother with Le Procope round the corner: it used to be one of my haunts, but this is over. The best soupe à l'oignon (onion soup, notoriously hard to cook) I ever had (yes, they still add white wine!). I would also recommend the magret de canard sauce aux cèpes (duck breast with a porcini mushrooms sauce). I could not find a decent menu, but that should give you an idea - they don't have a website (https://eater.space/la-jacobine). Very reasonably priced, too - and very, very good.

Chez Julien (1, rue du Pont Louis-Philippe, 75004 Paris). This is one of my mum's favorites. It is open only in the evenings, but it is an excellent choice if you want to call it a night, because it has service continu (all night long, wow!). It is more expensive - this is, after all, the Right Bank, so expect prices to go drastically up. This is the only option serving wonderful breakfasts, so I beg you: have breakfast in town at least once, Paris hotels tend to do it on the sad and sorry side (https://www.chezjulien.paris/en/home#menu-en). Pair anything you pick with a glass of Pouilly fumé white wine (it goes with anything, it is that magically good).

Money is no object? Entice the guy to take you at (I am torn, here, to be honest) La Tour d'Argent (19 Quai de la Tournelle, 75005). It is very expensive (like VERY), but it is worth every penny (https://tourdargent.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/LTDA-SEPTEMBRE-EN.pdf). You must (it's an order!) order the canard au sang (you will find it on the menu under the entry Duckling Frédéric Delair and it is outrageously priced). But you will never have a chance to see the table show anywhere else (it is served in two times: first the fillet and then the legs and it uses a sort of Medieval contraption, to get the blood out for the sauce) - just a specialty from Normandy, you will not find in Rouen anymore. It is divine. They have been there since 1583. What are you waiting for? (for a less break the bank option, try Le Grand Véfour, near the Louvre - google it, it will take forever to explain why).

Four cafés and a salon de thé (tea parlor) : all are haunts of mine. In every single one of them something very personal happened to me. Consider yourself lucky. On a more practical side, all of them double as excellent lunch options, for a fraction of what you would spend in a restaurant. :)

Chez Carette (4 Pl. du Trocadéro, 75016, but also Place des Vosges, with a nod to C). You will have an exceptional choice of anything you could think of and the same Roaring Twenties atmosphere as in the Relais de Venise restaurant. The chocolat chaud (hot chocolate) is almost perfection (do NOT go to Angelina, on the rue de Rivoli, that is another favorite which went south and not in a good way). The best macarons you will find North of Saint Jean de Luz's Maison Adam (where the story of macarons began in earnest). This is Someone's favorite, but then he always was a Right Bank purist. Service is old school, which means supremely kind, if only a bit on the slow side: you are in France, soak it in!

Les Deux Magots (6 Pl. Saint-Germain des Prés, 75006). On the Left Bank in the publishing houses district. This is my second favorite (there is a first favorite) and you will likely find me on the heated terrace with a cigarette and a newspaper, if I were there. Service is appalling, but you should not mind, I have warned you. Reasonably priced for what and where it is. Breakfasts are mediocre, but still enjoyable and lunch/dinner menus are typical brasserie fare - you are not there for the food, you are there to cosplay Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir and act intellectual and sophisticated and have endless talks about the world's destiny (https://lesdeuxmagots.fr/en/breakfast-menu/). If nature calls, head downstairs with an air of intrinsic superiority and don't forget to pay the grumpy dame pipi (toilet lady), who will give you what you need and look at you like you are the scum of the Earth. Always makes me laugh.

Le Café de l'Epoque (2 Rue du Bouloi, 75001). On the Right Bank, at the end of one of the most beautiful passages couverts (glass-roofed passageways) of Paris. Again, you are there for the supremely dreamy atmosphere, I can only fail to describe. Look on the map for all of these passageways and then get lost in the maze of stamp shops, bookstores, taxidermists and God only knows what else you could think of (or at least add to this passageway the Galerie Vivienne). Usual brasserie/bistro fare, reasonable prices (https://cafedelepoque.fr/en/services). The lemon meringue pies are to die for.

Café Le Rostand (6 Pl. Edmond Rostand, 75006). Steps away from the Luxembourg Gardens, which I crossed every single day to go to the uni. Steps away also from the secret and sublime Medici fountain in above park (oh, the things I did there!). Surprisingly good French fare, the beef tartare is excellent (a rare thing!) and well priced (https://lerostand.fr/carte/ - use Google translate, they don't care for tourists). Service is cheeky. Round the corner, one of the most charming shops in Paris, Parapluies Simon (56 Boulevard Saint-Michel, 75006) - only umbrellas and dandy walking sticks (you can hide a whisky mini flask in one of them, I am told by Someone on the phone, but I think he is trolling us - we love that shop).

The Tea Caddy (14 Rue Saint-Julien le Pauvre, 75005). It's been there since 1928, when a certain Miss Klinklin opened it and introduced the Devon scones to France. It is my favorite favorite (https://the-tea-caddy.com/en/tea-room/) and it is perfect on a rainy day. Steps away from the Medieval church of Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre, one of the most authentic and moving experiences of its kind in a very secular town. The Shakespeare & Co. bookstore is just round the corner. A rare gem of a place.

I could go on and on and on. Three more short tips and you will thank me for it, as alternatives to deceiving mainstream options:

The Musée de l'Orangerie instead of The Louvre. Blasphemy? Intense perfumes come in small bottles. It is breathtaking (https://www.musee-orangerie.fr/en).

Château de Rambouillet instead of Versailles (you will not be able to enjoy it AT ALL). Where else could you find Marie Antoinette's private 'milk bar' (La Laiterie de la Reine/ The Queen's Dairy), a supremely elegant affair, with milk-spouting fountains, built to encourage hygienic milk consumption as an alternative to breast-feeding (she was unable to). Trust me and plan a full day for it (https://www.chateau-rambouillet.fr/en/discover).

La Sainte-Chapelle instead of Notre Dame. I always preferred it to anything else, except perhaps Vézelay (far, far away from Paris). It will shock you, but in such a perfect way (https://www.sainte-chapelle.fr/en). Enough said: I will let you discover. Across the Seine, couple this visit with the Musée de Cluny and tell The Lady and the Unicorn I miss them (https://www.musee-moyenage.fr/en/).

I am not sorry for the length of this post. At all. I hope you will enjoy this modest, but very personal selection and perhaps you will come back and tell me if it was worth something. Bon voyage!

spoke about this briefly before, but heres a more in depth post w/ me rambling about my idea and explaining the au by showing off my notes and everything

anyway, the idea im talking about is like a social media/twitter (i will not call it X, fucking bite me) thing about the teens using twinote (an app that can make fake tweets) mixed with me using my own art to add stuff to it, and the idea of maybe making a secondary blog to answer asks as the characters,

this format idea is mixed with an au ive been thinking about involving hell and heaven stuff, (im not immune to hazbin hotel hype nor am i immune to any kind of bible fanfiction) so heres some notes about that;

basic desc:

Taylor is a prince of the 7th circle and a Hell-born demon, he makes friends with Scary/Terri, a sinner who died in the 1950's, a long with her guardian/step-dad TJ/Terry Jr. (sinners in this universe tend to go by secondary names instead of their human names) while messing around the city that Scary & TJ live in, Scary and Taylor stumble upon Lincoln, a fallen angel, who has just fallen from Heaven, Lincoln starts staying with TJ and Scary, since he has nowhere to go. Eventually Normal, an angel, trespasses into Hell from Heaven, in an attempt run from his home. Normal is found by the rest of the teens who are now trying to make sure Heaven doesn't find out that Normal is in Hell

additional notes & more yapping about my ideas below the cut, be warned!!!

- Scary & TJ live in the 7th ring of Hell, each circle is a different city & has a different monarchy

- Taylor as hell royalty is an angel hunter. Scary is also an angel hunter

- angel hunting is treated as a sport by the royals, and as a bounty-hunting type job by the sinners, done when angels fly overhead of hell to deliver messages and keep demons in line, there tends to be a lot of air traffic that makes hits easy

- tho this universe mostly surrounds hell & heaven, people can still cast spells and do magic, though its a skill you have to master

- TJ is a magic user and runs a magic shop, he and Scary live in the overhead apartment above the shop

- Normal's grandfather is a part of Heaven's council, which means Normal was a high ranking angel

- Lincoln's father, Grant, was also a part of Heaven's council before Link's falling

- Hell Demons buy and barter sinner souls constantly, and it has become a competition between the royals to have the most souls as well as angel kills

- Hell Demons & Sinners are cool with angels co-existing amongst them, and will not hunt them if it's an angel on the ground and out of uniform (most angels who go through hell are wearing heaven garbs) though it will bring weird looks and comments people are mostly unbothered by it, Heaven is unaware of this or that angel refugees are living amongst sinners

- this applies to fallen angels as well

- this will probably be a polywagon fic, ill see where the wind takes me

(hermie does exist but 4 the sake or spoilers ill leave the info on them to that)

the rest of the details i have written down about this au are spoiler-adjacent but this is what ive got for you! heres a little bit more about the formatting style i have in mind, im sorry (not sorry) about yapping so much i just like to info-dump

basically ill be using mostly fake tweets using twinote, as well as messages between the teens also using twinote, i did kind of some tests to get down the kind of energy i want for this and to see if this format works well with these characters so ill show some ss of that here as an example:

theres also the factor of me not using this blog to post this series and using a secondary blog, id mostly be doing that to make sure asks and content of this project is secluded from my other stuff,

speaking of asks, id use the ask box on said account to get questions and do a type of q&a thing where the audience can ask the teens questions and ill make art for/write them responding to it, also maybe responding to questions from a creator & ooc pov

i also make art just for funzies and if it fits in the plot anywhere, as well as making the characters pfps n stuff, heres an example a little by showing off a piece that (if i decide to really commit to this which i might since ive been having this idea rattling around in my head for a bit) ill be using in it (prob 4 pfps)

Papas and Ghouls with a Sibling of Sin who Crochets

Papa Nihil: One of his most prized possessions is a vintage styled blanket you made for him. It’s a granny square blanket with trim, and in the warm colors you’d find in someone’s 70’s inspired house. It reminds him of the ones he used to love and it stays on the back of his couch. You have been roped into being his movie buddy. So while you both are watching cheesy horror movies, you share the blanket as he watches and you crochet more!

Papa I: Papa adores your crocheting! Most of your time spent together is basically you both doing a quiet activity while lightly chatting. You with your yarn and he with whatever task he’s appointed himself that day. He has commissioned you for pot cozies for his favorite old plants. They comically break up his dark decor, but he adores them. You even picked a yarn that feels good sensory wise on his hands! Whenever he finds old books about yarn and needlework he gives them to you. It actually got you into lace making as well!

Papa II: He has a reputation for being a luxury goods type of man, and many wrongly assume he wouldn’t like hand made goods. But Papa has a deep respect for any skill based craft. Depending on what you make may or may not interest him, but he admires your skill. You once crocheted him some very tasteful doilies. Papa uses them under his favorite bottles of alcohol to really bring out his display shelves. He has gifted you high quality wool yarn before.

Papa III: Acts like everything you make is divine. Because to him it is! Papa also has a deep love of craftsmanship. But be aware, he LOVES getting hand made things from you! Papa will happily commission you for whatever pops into his head. Or if you’re making something he will go, “I want one too! Make it in purple?” Papa delights in being a friend and patron of you, no matter what you make. His favorite is the time you made him a sweater for his birthday! He wore it all day and bragged about having a one of kind piece of art from you.

Papa IV/Cardinal Copia: Copia tends to get lost in watching you crochet. Like, he intensely watches your hands as you work. He can’t help himself, it’s so mesmerizing! He won’t admit how much he really wants stuff you’ve made. But Copia knows from experience how annoying it is to be pestered for your skill. He’s absolutely delighted when you make him a toy rat! It stays in his office on his desk so he can play with it while he’s thinking.

Aether: You convinced him to take up crocheting with you… and he LOVES IT! It’s actually thanks to you both that the band had those gold sweaters for the Christmas pictures back in the Prequelle days! You two had worked your fingers to the bone for MONTHS to get them ready! Aether finds a similar peace in crocheting the way he does with guitar. When he stayed back from touring he had more time to dedicate working with you. You even have your own sweater he made just for you!

Phantom: You have this chaotic ghoul so enamored with everything you make!! You even made him a tiny yarn ghost that he takes everywhere (affectionately named Phantom Jr.) you have tried to help teach Phantom how to knit with very little success. Oh well! He’ll just sit and watch you do it instead. Phantom always has questions and is just happy to hear you talk about it! Phantom Jr is placed in his front vest pocket at all times.

Aurora: Constantly begs you to go yarn shopping with her. Aurora actually has a brilliant eye for color and flair, so she happily picks out combinations to use for your projects. She became addicted to your work when you made her a pair of fingerless gloves so her prized claws don’t get caught. She introduced you to the rest of the band as, “my amazingly talented friend who made the gloves you’re all jealous of”!

Sunshine: Thinks you’re some kind of wizard, because how else could you do something so amazing?? Sunshine loves to sit with you and hold your yarn as you work. Sometimes they like to help and just untangle your yarn or re-wind some back into skeins. Sunshine is just happy to watch you make amazing pieces while they practice or do boring paper work next to you. They won’t admit they would love a fun hat from you!

Swiss: Has worn everything you ever made him and immediately shows them off. Swiss has mastered doing a fashion show walk as he models the newest hat you made. “Oh, is everyone jealous I have the newest crochet couture?” If you sell these he will tell EVERYONE! Thanks to him the whole band owns one of your hats!! He’s so proud of your skill and vows to get everyone in the ministry to adore your work!

Cumulus: You both accidentally became good friends thanks to your crocheting! You were taking commissions around the ministry to earn a few extra dollars and favors (as chores only gave you so much allowance). Imagine your surprised when THE Cumulus approached you with a want for a scarf. You ended up knitting the most gorgeous bean stitch cream scarf for her. While chatting during the commission times you both found you got along splendidly. Cumulus hasn’t let you out of her sight since, and wears her scarf every winter!

Cirrus: The pianist has made it her mission to stop others from pestering you for free crochet pieces. Specifically her fellow band mates. But Cirrus won’t lie and say she has a lot of pride in being able to say she owns one of your little crochet animals. You once made her a tiny yarn cat just because, and she adores it! When you both are hanging around you nearly cried seeing the little plush cat rest on her practice keyboard. According to Cirrus, that’s her song editor. Awww!

Mountain: You weren’t sure what he thought of, he’s always so quiet! You were surprised one day when he finally seemed to acknowledge your hobby by politely showing you a pattern. A yarn cactus plushie attached to a plush pot. Mountain explains he really wanted to see if you would make him something but felt too shy to ask. The drummer assuming that you made so many projects because you’re obviously swarmed by commissions! He was so grateful you made it and praises you for how well made it is. You were so flattered when he immediately showed the rest of the band what you made!

Rain: Adores anything cute you make! His favorite are the little animals you make from different patterns. Every time you find a new pattern he asks if you can make him one too! He has a whole shelf of small yarn animals and refuses to let anyone touch them. They are special because they are from you, one of his best friends! He especially adores the jellyfish with long yarn trails you made for his summoning anniversary.

Sodo/Ember: Thinks crocheting is badass but it’s a little low energy for him. He can’t watch you do it or it calms him down enough to want to take a nap (everyone begs you to keep doing it.) if you crochet around him and he’s tired enough he will just rest on you and sleep (with permission of course.) you have made him a hat to cover the time he broke his horn and Sodo refused to let anyone touch it. He has commissioned you to make gifts for the band many times!

Personally, I think Mikey is the best lover out of the brothers, both romantically and sexually.

Not to say the other brothers' aren't good lovers, they are trust me, but Mikey solos them any day.

Mikey is one of my favorites throughout the whole tmnt franchise, of course, Donnie always will be my number one, but Mikey is the best lover no if’s and butts about it.

He’s caring, sweet, and very in tune with people's feelings around him, which makes him a wonderful person to talk to you, or if you just need to be around him without talking hes got you covered.

He’s understanding as well, don't want to talk and just want to be around him? Awesome!! There's so many things he can do in peace, he can paint, skateboard, cook and so much more and he’s more than willing to let you be around him.

Speaking of being around him, he’s so clingy. He’d follow you into the bathroom if you’d let him, if you genuinely want space, no hard feelings. Donnie needs time and space away all the time so he gets it and while he’ll miss you, he’s more than happy to give you anything you want.

He’ll check in on you by texting or by physically checking on you (with some food of course)

He loves doing anything for you, you want to go shopping? He’ll hold your bags!

You want some food? No no we dont need to go out, he can cook you something!!

You want to cuddle and nap? He’s already in his bed

Want to have a movie marathon? He’s got snacks and blankets at the ready!

Does Peppino actively enjoy using himself as a subject or does he just use it for marketing? What other things does he usually like to draw or make? Is he a wood carver? I can see him as a wood carver

Oh this is interesting; ive been stuck on this for a little bit. The needle swings between yes and no mid response lol. I think he enjoys being able to use his likeness for marketing, but less so for personal, artistic use. It feels obvious to use ur own face and/or name for ur business (one that u put so much blood sweat n tears in) but he doesnt feel compelled to draw himself. There is a level of self awareness(?) i think u have to have to even desire depicting oneself in art and i think he would be too focused on his failing business to start that process. He has more important things to do. But on the flipside; i think he would look at his own creations (for his business) and regard them as reminders of his failures. So he wouldnt have the best opinion of himself.

But! i think he would enjoy others depictions of his likeness. Despite his awkwardness, he enjoys putting on a show, he enjoys performing to some degree, he likes entertaining a crowd. He feeds off of positive attention (like most people do) even if it leaves him a little flustered. People take pictures of him and he smiles earnestly. He doesnt have the words for it, but it is grounding to see himself outside of his business and existing outside of his failures.

This obv gets better postgame as he gets more support for his business. But also, as Pepperman starts to take genuine interest in his form to use as a muse. It is the perfect balance of him enjoying being an art subject, without him having to Make the art. And tying his visage to a now profitable, successful shop, makes him feel a bit better about seeing his own caricature on the storefront. I can see him in Peppermans studio being convinced to draw himself on canvas, and instead of his usual caricature style, it is an attempt at realism with him waving hi towards the ‘camera’, which is a nice contrast to Peppermans first picture of Peppino looking very blue and very sad. Pepperman is delighted lol look at his muse branching out !!!! Pepperman does not do this for anyone but he lets Peppino take the picture home with him (‘But you must promise to give me a copy of this to hang in my studio 😊 PROMISE ME-‘)

And yes, Peppino wood carves bc Peshino is a wood carved toy!! Hes got some bits in him to let him move around w a simple wind up mechanism. I dont think Peppino would do this in his free time prior to postgame, but as he gets more (positive) time to himself, he starts to take up some easy crafts. Wood carving when hes home and watching tv, and sculpting/painting when hes at Peppermans studio.

Harry Styles and The Most Difficult Time of the Year!

It's here! The first one-shot for my Holiday Spectacular.

“Lovie, we’ve been at this for hours, are you done yet?” H asked me. H as in Harry Styles, my boyfriend, who is being a very good sport while helping me with my Christmas Shopping.

“I’d be closer to being done if you would actually tell me what you want for Christmas H.” I reply in a slightly snarky manner as ive been attempting to get my answer to this question out of him since September.

“All I want for Christmas is You, baby.” H said back.

“Mariah Carey? Seriously H?” I say before turning into a kitchenware stall at the Christmas Market, and selecting a bells with holly cookie cutter for my mother. I’ve been giving her one every year since I was 6 and she let me help her make the sugar cookies. “Now I just need something for your mum,” I say after tucking the cookie cutter into the bag with the gifts for my dad, sister, and brother.

“I already have our gift for my mum.” H says to me, and quite matter of factly at that. “Now come on, let's get some cocoa to go, I wanna wrap you up, tie you in a bow, and put you under the Christmas tree for me.” You both laugh at that.

A few hours later, you've finally returned from the market and are getting your big wrapping station set up in your art room. It's huge. Big enough for quite literally every medium of art you do. Harry was happy to adjust his renovation plans when you agreed to move in with him just shy of a year ago. There are only two things in this lower level, your art room, and Harry's Studio. The music softly making its way through the sound panels for the instruments and that first croon Harry does. Though lately, Harry has been having the sound proofing on so nothing goes beyond his studio walls. And whenever you ask him about it his answer is the exact same, “You'll hear it one day Lovie, it is for you after all. Not until that one day though, there will be no spoilers.” That last line is your favorite because he glares at his mates, Mitch and Kid especially since he knows you're pretty close with them.

Now as Harry is chilling in the lounge chair in your art room singing acoustic Christmas songs while you wrap gifts, you stop every so often and turn to him.

“H, I need the present for your mum so I can wrap it.” You say and he just smiles at you before getting himself back into the song.

Finally after hours of wrapping, Anne's gift is the only one left and you still don't have it.

“Harold Edward Styles, I need the gift for your mum, NOW!” You give him your best death glare, hoping it will scare him at least a little bit, after all, you're no fun when you're mad.

He runs over to the studio and comes back with a little black wooden ring box with Le Raoulivere engraved into it. He sets it in your hands and you open it automatically.

“It's empty H.”

“Mum's old one for the ring from Robin broke, so we're getting her a very, very nice new one.” H says and I go to wrap it in the blue snowflake paper I have when h interrupts again. “Can you use the sleeping puppies wearing Santa hats one instead please love?” He asks very politely and you just sigh before wrapping it up in the paper Harry wanted.

“Thank you my love!” He says with a kiss when the bin is all packed up with the presents.

December 24th

We're all dressed up. Harry has on his suit he hugged Stanley Tucci in at the Brits. You're in a midi silver dress with white Mary Janes and a small white clutch. The house is decorated, the presents are under the tree, the appetizers are in the ovens, and the doorbell is ringing. Plenty of time to calm down and not freak out. Shit wait, that's the doorbell.

“They're here H.” You holler and run over to let everyone in. “Merry Christmas Eve!”

Your family and H’s family are both here. Your mum, Dad, sister, and brother, Anne, Desmond, Gemma and Michal, Mike and Amy were invited, but had other plans. Everyone mingled with appetizers while you and Harry prepped the lasagnas. When they were done you all sat around the table smiling and laughing with each other. After dinner you turned on the fireplace and some soft tunes while doing gifts. When Anne unwrapped the one from you and Harry, she just smiled at you. It was a bit confusing at first, until the music switched. Harry was suddenly more anxious, and everyone else was just watching the two of you.

“What's going on?” You whispered to Harry. He smiled, pulled you over to stand in front of the Christmas tree with him, and said, “Y/N.”

You instinctively replied, “Yes H?”

“Y/N, it's the title of this song.” He answered back and let the lyrics wash over you both. You realized they were telling the story of the two of you, from colliding in a rainstorm, to you having almost no clue who he was, the time you spent apart, and him showing up at your doorstep soaking wet from rain ready to do whatever it took to get you back, and finally his little dreams for the life ahead of you two. The last line of the song was, “All you have to do is say yes to me.”

He knelt before you, took the box from Anne, and pulled the ring out of his pocket. “Mum's been on my case lately, she knew I wanted to marry you before I did. So our real gift to her, only if you want it too, is us, because all I want for Christmas is you to agree to be my wife. I love you Y/N.”

“I love you too H. And yes, yes I want to be your wife!” You let out between tears.

After sliding the ring onto your finger, H kisses you and whispers, “best Christmas ever.”

“I made you a new pendant.” You whispered back.

“I'll love it, but even more so because it's from you.”

2) I used to do commissions and had worked at a tattoo shop but found out quickly i HATE doing art professionally. it caused a lot of stress as since highschool i was set on being an artist professionally but thankfully found that i love working in tech instead!

8) ill be completely honest i dont know what my art style is. I feel like it looks different all of the time. I also used to do almost entirely horror so the switch in aesthetic also makes it harder to tell, like jhudora standing out really funny with some of my ocs here hahah:

Can I ask where you got that super high resolution Millia Xrd chibi. Because man I would love it if we had all those Xrd chibis archived somewhere since they're not on the GG wiki

Oh my god yeah so fun fact most of the xrd chibis seem to be partially lost media. I have OK resolutions for I wanna say around 10 of em? Some of those only exist in partial versions from old websites me and joel have dug up. The only 3 I have found in complete resolution have been Millia Venom and Axl (theyre on my archive website if ur curious!). I have the low quality images of all of them floating around, most notably the old colab for fight stick buttons has them all extremely small.

I got the millia venom and axl and then the ok quality versions of a handful of others through the old official merch shop- they were up as recently as 2021 iirc ! Only those three had the full pages saved so their descriptions and full quality art were in tack for when they were sold as keychain/standees.

This is my own personal nightmare hunt hell. Ive probably dedicated close to 20+ hours on hunting these down alone. Ive even gotten art from the artist (sume_ on twitter. Theyre the artist who did the strive recap manga too!!) In the same style found before some of the chibis LOL (my discord banner if youve seen that- the zato and eddie art!). Ive dug up a ton of old xrd merch and images thru trying to find them, so its not all a bust, but man its frustrating that these were the main promotional chibis for ALL of xrds run (we have both elphelts and all the rev2 additions…!) and arcsys never like. Put the art somewhere accessible.. gah!!

#i still look out for em… I have gotten close to emailing sume_ about it LOLLLL #I can grab the ok quality versions I have if ur curious itd just take a little bit for me to force myself to sitting Lol #theyre on a ton of old merch so you can pretty easily dig up any xrd merch and find a mediocre quality image of most anyone

Happy New Year!!

I’m far from the first to say that it was a hard one. A lot happened for better or for worse.

But I’m typing here in regards to my art and posting. I’ve been doing art for a long time and last year feels like the first time I lost a lot of the joy in doing it. I’ve had art blocks and crises with medium and style like never before, and as much as paid support for my work is lovely I do not want to lock away to being all shop and paid tier stuff only. Frankly I never want to view mine or other’s art posted for cheap (or most often for nothing) as “content” and it should be for one’s own enjoyment more than anything.

I have felt in general more unhappy and a beaten-up feeling so it likely correlates to that - I’m not happy to do art few and far between, but I’m not looking to push myself if I need rest in the moment. Only to push to try find what works for me in art now.

My work has never been the most frequent or consistent, but it makes me all the more thankful that people stick by. For the time being I’m likely going to be inconsistent, experimental, mostly smaller pieces, maybe largely inactive; please bear with me as I find my footing with my own passion to try find what I truly want to do with myself 🙏

All I can really say to the start of the year is, let’s just keep going.

Regarding Commissions/Paid Support:

It’s not my favourite thing to bump, but the financial support helps in my hopes to advance in doing this with more stability.

As I don’t really feel confident in doing the art style Ive been previously doing largely in commissions, they are closed indefinitely. If anyone finds interest in other styles I may post it can be asked about.

For now, support is on my Ko-Fi - as I am currently typing this my Ko-Fi Shop is currently closed, future posts will bring up when it’s open and where I’ll be shipping to.

Tips are always taken, and I have membership tiers too, which I’ll be transparent that there is not much exclusive stuff to see there at all, but the Star tier offers the chance to give me an art prompt each month. I do 30-min digital sketches for members of both Gem and Star Tiers to see. As always, never necessary to join or to stay :]
