Finally finished this piece! :D The joke here is that @jenniferbrincho and I discovered that both our main characters started as Danny Phantom fan characters. So naturally, I had to draw them all interacting. XD My guy Barrenger (wolfy-lookin’ dude) was modeled after Wulf’s species originally. (Now he naturally looks more human if not for shapeshifting shenanigans, thus him thinking these other glowing-eyed individuals are also tulinai, his race. Everyone is confused and it’s great.)

1) Three non-romantic duos: Hmmm...brotps I adore would be Jack and Daniel (SG-1), Sam and Daniel (SG-1), and Lune and Matsen (Jade Torch -- is it cheating to use my own book??? xD) If that's cheating, then Sam and Frodo (LotR).

2) A ship that might surprise others: I kinda ship Link x Mipha from BOTW. I like Zelda x Link too, but something about Link x Mipha is just so sweet and tragic. I like that they knew each other for a lot longer than Zelda and Link knew each other.

Let's be real. I don't have a lot of crazy ships. Although, in SG-1, I do ship Vala x Tomin (but I also like Vala x Daniel).

3) Last Song: Shackleton by Adam Young

4) Last Film: My parents and I watched Hitched for the Holidays last night. Very funny romcom with Joey Lawrence. It's a Hallmark movie from 2012, so just before they all got so unbelievably cookie cutter/copy+paste with their plots.

6) Currently watching: The X-Files. I'm nearing the end of season 1. I've never seen it before, and I'm loving it!

#i am in a massive stargate phase right now #i almost put john and rodney as the third brotp but i wanted to include something non stargate #and seriously. i am enjoying the x-files SO MUCH!!!!!!!! #the alien episodes are my favorite and i wish there were more of those and fewer of the ghost/spirit ones #but oh well #and can i say? mulder and scully's dynamic is perfection #not just how they trust each other or tease each other but how they physically behave with one another #the acting choices seem very deliberate #mulder wears his heart on his sleeve and i am living for that #and he's big on touch. not in a creepy way at all #but he's constantly putting his hand on her shoulder or gently placing his hand on her back to steer her #so much of it is 100% unnecessary for the scene so it feels like very deliberate acting choice regarding the character #and it doesn't phase scully a bit #even in the first few episodes when they've only known each other a few months or less she has no issue with how familiar mulder acts #again. i need to emphasize---it never comes across as creepy just really cute and tender #i really really like how she is SO TINY compared to him and i think his physicality and protectiveness is emphasized by that #but at the same time he knows she's fully capable #he seems protective of her but not in a demeaning way. not overprotective. just lots of chivalry and honor #that's something that seems totally lost in media today: men who want to protect women just because that's what they should be doing #and women who let them #too many women get bent out of shape when men try to be gentlemen #women have tried to wipe out chivalry and then they turn around and complain about toxic masculinity 🙄 #but mulder is a wonderful gentleman and i love watching him and scully #tagged #sorry for going off in the tags but i've been wanting to rave about this stuff for a few days now xD

Finn joins Lando and Jannah on their quest to find long-lost family and discovers that his Force sensitivity is growing far faster than he realized. Meanwhile, Poe accidentally gets himself involved in Zorii's personal mission of revenge and Rose deals with the tremendous weight of filling Leia's shoes.

The Final Steps is back - in fanfic form and with a shiny new cover! Art by @jenniferbrincho. Edited and beta read by @theunforgivenscone! Updates will be sporadic for my sanity, lol. But there will be updates.

Highly recommend starting from the beginning if you can--there's new character insight and some plot fixes that bring a lot more to the story. But you can also start right where the comic left off and follow along from there!

I wasn't sure on what to make so I figured that I would work on another character art piece featuring my OC Jessibel. She's out on a stroll looking for any lost lambs to guide them through the dreamscape safe and sound.

Keep going with Somnia, Menta! As someone who’s been working on the same WIP series with my sister for years, I can tell you it’s so worth it to watch the story improve and grow (and eventually get closer to finishing 😄) Also let us know when you’re finished! TRON oc dump WOO!! I’ve had these characters since 2016 and haven’t done a thing with them since then, but watching Uprising with some friends sparked my imagination, and so I decided to dust em off and work on some plot stuff! •Della is a former Siren-turned-club waitress (she works for Donavan, blue circuitry). She flirts with soldiers to get information from them for their homegrown resistance to use.  She often gets in over her head, but she’s good at talking her way out of a situation! •Daxon is a Sentinel Scout who grew disillusioned with CLU’s propaganda and decided to go awol.  He seeks refuge at Donavan’s club, where he’s waiting until he can get his identity disc modified before getting smuggled out of Purgos. •Donavan is the owner of the club where Della works at.  He’s also an ISO who is able to masquerade as a Program, which is one of the reasons why he started the small resistance by helping out other ISOs and Programs on the run from the army.

Faffing around with some Dune stuff again, this time attempting some Bene Gesserit designs ✨

I drew inspiration from medieval nun habits for the overall look and shape of the clothes, and ancient Egypt for the gold detailing.  The idea of the Sisters mirroring each other came early on, though I didn’t have the notion for the veils until after tackling the Reverend Mother since I wanted her to look more extravagant by comparison; the Sisters are meant to blend in and operate behind the scenes throughout the Empire, so I thought it was fitting :)))

Charlotte (Sugar Coated Dream) by Sketchman

Something I whipped up for a friend named jenniferbrincho on Instagram as a late birthday gift. I wasn't sure on what to make so I figured that I would work on another character art piece featuring my OC Charlotte. Based on a piece of gift art my friend made with her and the spirit animal, I drew the two of them enjoying their time in a wintery landscape while floating in the air as snowflakes fall and they dance in a sweet sugar-coated fashion.
