CHRISTIANITY IS NOT ABOUT GOING TO HEAVEN!

let me explain:

Christianity is about following in Jesus's footsteps, following him and his example of living. it's not about the final destination. we do not follow him because we want to go to heaven. we do not follow him for that end reward. we follow him because this is how we live. Christianity is a way of living not just some assignment that we need an A+ on. the most important thing when being a Christian is how you live your life and how you share the word of God to other people. it's a lifestyle of kindness. of forgiveness. of love and compassion. we are Christians because Jesus devoted his life to making other peoples lives better. then he gave his life into making our lives better. so we must follow his lead and spend our lives making others feel loved.

we choose this life because it is the best way to live not because it is the best way to die.

There's only one faith. The bar is so high to be saved. Don't lower it for a higher chance to get into Heaven. It won't work. It's easy to believe you're saved without ever going back and checking and making sure. Imagine how hard it is to convince others that they're not when they believe they are. Being a Christian isn't enough. Obedience and being consumed by the bible is the only way.

Don't attend churches outside of Christ, founded by men and not by Jesus himself, and believe false teachings that deceive and harm you. Be in the one faith, obey the bible only, not what others say and believe.

Hello! Thank you for the ask.

What I have is not religion. It is a personal relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is the hope of a better life coming than the evil we have in this world.

I believe in Jesus Christ because in this world full of darkness, we need the light that only Jesus gives. In this world where betrayal, lies, and murder are the norm, Jesus teaches us to love one another. You can love someone and still say what they do is wrong.

Everyone has sinned. We have all broke the commandments that God gave us to follow. (Exodus chapter 20) If you broke one commandment you’ve broke them all. The penalty of sin is death. Death in hell.

I know I have sinned against God. I have put worldly things before God. I have lied. I have stole. I have coveted. I deserve to go to hell for the things I have done.

But despite this, God loves me and He sent His only son Jesus Christ to take my punishment. Jesus willingly laid down His life on the cross for me, He shed His blood to wash my sins and my iniquities away. He made the way for me to be forgiven for what I’ve done. I asked Jesus to come into my heart and save me. Now I will go to heaven when I die or when the rapture occurs.

To go to heaven you must admit that you are a sinner and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and save you from your sins.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I Am The Way, The Truth, and The Life: no man cometh unto The Father, but by Me.

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Society has changed and started to accept things that are sinful. But God does not change. What He deemed as sin in the beginning is still a sin today even if society says it’s ok.

There is one Lord. The God of Israel. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The Father Jehovah. He is one: with His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, and with the Holy Ghost the comforter.

God created male and female. God established marriage between a male and female. God commands us to be fruitful and multiply. But sex outside of marriage is a sin called fornication. Abortion is Murder. Children are a gift from God and we have no right to murder them.

It’s a sin to change what God created you as. If you were born male you are a man. If you were born female you are a woman.

God laid out the rules for the way we should live in The Holy Bible. Reading Genesis in the Old Testament and The Gospel according to John in the New Testament together is a good place to start if you want to learn the truth.
