{Who's The Coward Now}
Tumblr media
Program: Even though the medic somehow always finds a way to get under your skin, you hold a deep respect for Kix. That may have begun to turn into something more than a professional admiration. Until it shatters after an argument that continues onto the battlefield. Heated words are exchanged, but you'd rather hear him yelling at you than the radio silence that answers when you try to call him.
Pairing: Medic Kix x Support Agent, GN! Reader
Genre: Angst
Length: 3967w
Warnings: Reader and Kix say pretty hurtful things to each other because they care about each other type of deal, Battle scene, Medical scene, Couple of swears (as usual lmao)
Camp Resolute Masterlist
Counselor Notes: Thank you to @wizardofrozz for your help on this as a thought partner. It was so helpful & @obixwan, I hope you enjoy! Not too sure how I feel about this one tbh, but I am pretty happy with it.

“You have to be more careful,” Kix reprimands you. Though his hands carefully hold your head, he can’t control the anger burning through his veins. With one hand still holding your head, he tosses the blood soaked gauze and quickly takes another from his medical table. Pressing the fresh swab onto the cut on your forehead, Kix hesitates when you wince. His gaze softens momentarily and mumbles an apology.
“We all have a job to do, Kix,” you hoarsely explain, “I wasn’t about to sit on the side lines as our friends took their last breath”.
Kix pauses after placing a plaster on the small wound and looks away from it to meet your serious expression with one of disbelief. “We all have a job to do, but it doesn’t mean we have to sacrifice ourselves for nothing”.
“For nothing,” you exclaim and push his caring hands away.
His careless words cause your blood to boil as you look at him incredulously. In any other situation your stomach would have fluttered from his cute, wide eyed expression. Instead, knots twist your stomach as bile builds in the back of your throat.
“I would lay down my life without second thought to keep you and your family safe, Kix,” your voice breaks. “You and your brothers mean so much. Not just to each other, or to me, but to countless people across the galaxy. You have to understand that”.
You reach out with a shaky hand to try to hold onto him, but Kix ducks his head and steps away from you.
His weak voice murmurs your name before he says barely above a whisper, “We are nothing, but a surplus of pawns”.
Kix darts his tongue across his lip and swallows the lump forming in his throat. Everything feels numb and too much all at once. Pin pricks sting his skin. The fluorescent lights cause a dull ache to pound against his head. His heart shatters, and the pieces slash him from the inside.
With a shaky breath, Kix turns away from you and begins to clean his medical table. “When one of us dies, one thousand more run onto the battlefield to replace us. Clones are nothing, but cogs in the Republic’s machine. You have to understand that. There is no reason for you to risk your life for one of us when there are a million of me,” Kix explains and pulls his gaze from the bloody scraps that stain his fingers to look over at you.
Your heart pluments, and you open your mouth to try to reason with him. His raised hand and defeated smile silences you. “There is only one of you in this galaxy. I have no control over my life, or even how I die. The semblance of control I have is by helping my brothers and civvies when they need aid,” Kix’s voice subtly shakes as his eyes scan over your bandaged wound, “Do not put your life at risk for some clone”. Bile builds in the back of his throat as the memory of an assassin droid jumping at you and nearly cutting your life short. Just another reason he owes Jesse his life.
Your eyes sting as you look at the man who stands before you, completely unrecognizable in front of the one who has slowly been stealing your heart much to your dismay. Instead of the teasing, know it all of a medic, you see a man hiding behind the mask of his fallen brothers.  “You are so wrong,” you firmly breath out. “And if you can't realize how much you--or your brothers-- have to offer the galaxy for just existing as individuals, then you’re truly pathetic,” you spit out.
As if your words cut him, Kix staggers a step backwards. Your steely gaze freezes him in place as you stand up from the cot. “Not because you are a clone,” you continue with a growing fire in your voice, “Because you are a coward of a man who would rather fall into society’s place and play the victim. I hear your lies, and I see right through you, Kix. You are afraid of what happens next after the war, so you’re pushing me away. You’re isolating yourself to put the blame on yourself and the situation rather than trying to make the best of it and make a difference”.
Kix clutches the edge of the cold durasteel table. Your words tear down the reality he’s tried to come to terms with. His head spins as his lungs seem to be weighed down as he desperately tries to breathe. He opens his mouth to try to … explain himself? No, that doesn’t seem right. But there’s nothing to defend, right?
“If you’re even thinking about trying to convince me that you’re right in this situation,” your voice trembles with anger, “I am walking out that door”. There’s a beat of silence as the two of you look at each other. Even with the ventilation fan whirring in the background, the air hangs heavy in a thick blanket. Kix turns his back to you to continue cleaning his workstation.
Without second thought, you turn on your heel and walk swiftly out of the medbay. A blistering heat washes over you, and only once weaving through the starship’s corridors do you feel like you can breathe again.
Fog consumes the battlefield, and the tense atmosphere weighs down on your shoulders. You peer around the boulder you’ve taken shelter behind. Blaster bolts cut through the thick blanket of mist. Surveying the area, your eyes widen when a red beam shoots toward you. With your heart pounding in your throat, you throw yourself backwards for cover once more. A flurry of embers kiss the arm you use to block the scorching rock fragments and debris flying around you from the blast.
“We need you to infiltrate the ray shields three klicks North of your position,” General Skywalker’s voice crackles through your comlink. Echoes of reflected blaster bolts and battalion commands blend in disharmony behind his tired words.
“Easier said than done,” you yell through gritted teeth. Pushing into the balls of your feet and clenching your fists, you push from your crouched position and take off across the crumbled terrain. “I can’t see a damned thing,” you relay back to the battalion as you duck away from a blitz of crossfire, “Some guidance would be helpful”.
“I can spare Kix and Jesse, but we’re not exactly in a better position than you,” Rex grunts followed by a deafening explosion.
A spear of panic pierces your pounding heart. Why does it have to be Kix? Any other clone--hell, any other 501st trooper--would be better than him.
Your feet slam into the barren wasteland as you push further into the battle. Troopers collapse all around you while clankers melt from blasters. No one is safe in this hellscape. Not man. Not machine. Not you.
You weave past the scattered soldiers, and some yell out to you in the haze.
“What are you doing?”
“Turn back now”.
“We can hold them off, fall back behind lines”.
“I told you not to do anything risky,” one voice rings clear in all the chaos. Footsteps fall in time with your own as you near the ray shields, now just ahead of you past the enemy defense.
“I’m following orders, Kix,” you wheeze. Your lungs scream for air as you duck out of the way of an onslaught of blaster shots. “Something you seem all too familiar with,” you say through gritted teeth.
“Why did you volunteer for this,” Kix hissed over his shoulder. He raises his gun to help his brother clear a path for the three of you to infiltrate the enemy’s inner lines.
With a haggard grunt, Jesse throws a shock grenade towards the surrounding droids to clear the last of the blockade. “If you haven’t noticed,” he yells, “we’re a bit preoccupied. Finish this spat when we’re in the next system, far away from this shit”.
Unable to tell if the surge of determination coursing through your veins comes from Kix’s words or the sight of possible victory, you break from the two troopers to push ahead. “I need you to flank my sides,” you say into your comlink, “we’re nearly to the center, and I’ll be able to set up the explosives. I just need you to keep the fire off of me”.
“Ten-four,” Jesse responds.
Through the roar of war, the static of your comlink rings in your ears. Filling you with dread, you hit it a few times to make sure it’s not broken.
“Kix?” you question. A gnawing pit of anxiety bubbles in your stomach when met with static. “Jesse,” you try the other channel, “Is Kix with you?”
Your skin tingles when you step through the shield barrier. Scanning the area, your eyes lock onto the target control area and power supplies. You sprint towards the control panel first, and you fumble with the protective plate before connecting the first explosive.
“What?” he asked in confusion. You hear heavy gunfire crackle through mixed with the trooper’s strained breathing. “No,” Jesse pushes out, “Saw him break off to your West when you gave the command. East generator is cleared”.
Each step you take to the East power supply is met with no resistance. With just a few strides, you reach the generator and connect the explosive to its side. Shifting your weight, you push off and run to the West generator. As blasters and explosive shells ring in your ears, your heart pounds. Prickles of fear sting your skin. He has to be there.
“Right behind you,” Jesse shouts, “Heard anything from Kix?”
“Radio silence,” you yell over your shoulder. When you face forward again, the fog billows and folds over itself as some of the enemy land cruisers shoot off into the distance. This could be it. At the thought of reaching the last moments of battle, you attach the last explosive and grab the detonator from your utility belt. Jesse stands tall as he shoots down any stray droid emerging from the shield barrier. With a click, you sync the charges and motion Jesse to move out.
“Kix, meet at the West cliff cave. The charges are set and prepped,” you shout into your comlink over the battle’s cacophony. Once again, only static hums in response. You shoot Jesse a look of confusion. Your com channels work fine, even with the frequency interference, so why was Kix suddenly unreachable? Is he really that petty to ignore com calls after our last conversation? You scoff and duck behind one of the boulder stacks inside the cave. Your heart pounds against its cage as you look over to Jesse on the other side.
“Have you gotten through to that idiot,” you shout with a shaky voice.
Jesse taps the side of his bucket a few times. “No,” his words slowly come out as he thinks, “But those droids will be getting close to the charges by now. I don’t think we can spare him anymore time”.
“What if he gets caught in the blast? We have to wait for him,” your response tumbles without thought from your chapped lips.
“We have a job to do,” Jesse reminds you as he tilts his head. “Kix is smart. He knows about the charges, and he won’t do something reckless”.
You bite your lip and look at the detonator in your hand. A cold wave of uncertainty wash over you that stings your skin with the scorching blood coursing through your veins.
“Why are you hesitating? Set them off now, or we’ll all be in trouble,” Jesse yells. Panic pushes past his usually cool demeanor.
Your thumb presses down on the small button, and you shut your eyes as a deafening whirlwind overcomes the chaos. A powerful gust of wind pushes through the cave’s entry way bringing flames and debris with it. The heat swelters around you and constricts your lungs. Sweat drips across your skin. You try to steady your haggard breathing, but the smoke lingering in the air burns the inside of you with each inhale.
“Status report,” a static voice faintly calls out. Its location seems to bounce through the cave, and you can barely register it above the ringing in your ears.
“Jesse,” you call out. A cough accompanies your hoarse voice. Slowly rising to a standing position, you lean against the wall to your side. The world sways underneath your feet, which only makes your head spin harder.
“Over here,” a similar voice coughs from where you last saw your squad mate. “You alright?”
Your comlink chirps, and you carefully nod your head. “Probably. You?”
“Been through worse”. Without warning, a beam of light breaks through the smoke and fog settling around the two of you. “We’re alright, Rex,” Jesse explains through the shared channel. “Lost Kix though when we broke off to clear the surrounding area near the generators”.
“We’ll keep an eye out for him, but he’s probably already at the temp medbay. Hurry over and get checked out. We’re trying to evac ASAP. This place is making everyone uneasy, and it’s time for well deserved R-and-R”.
Your stomach lurches with your first step away from the wall. As your heart plummets, the sense of uncertainty freezes into dread, and your knees buckle. Rex didn’t know where Kix was?
“Hey- hey,” Jesse shouts your name and rushes over to you. Just as you’re about to sink into the ground, his arms catch you and hold you up. “Kriffssake, you look like you’ve just seen a ghost”.
“I need to find Kix,” you say in a rush. Everything feels sharp to the touch as you try to pull yourself away from Jesse. “Something's not right. We need to find him”.
Jesse’s arms tighten around you as he guides your struggling form out of the hiding spot into the remnants of the battlefield. “What’s gotten into you,” he huffs. “The two of you were just arguing in the middle of an onslaught of blasterfire, and now you’re worried about him?”
An unexplainable instinct urges you to try to fight out of Jesse’s hold, but your aching muscles only want to sink into his arms. Kix may be insufferable, but he follows orders. Regardless of who gives them. “Jesse, I’m telling you- there’s something wrong. Kix isn’t okay”.
“Even if he isn’t okay-which he’s not- why do you care so much all of the sudden?” Jesse prods as he pushes you past the rubble and heaps of scrap metal.
“I’ve always cared,” you nearly shout in frustration. Your body screams in pain as you continue to shift and throw your weight to break free. Even when the ARC trooper’s hold softens, he still keeps you from running off in search of…him. What is Kix exactly? A crush is too childish for the deep respect and admiration you hold for the medic. Friend is nowhere close to describing your teasing and heated relationship. The only word that comes to mind to describe the man -- who has soft, inviting eyes and a smirk you just want to wipe away with a kiss -- would be lover. An agonized groan rumbles in your chest as you fling your body weight completely forward. “You’re not listening,” you practically scream.
“Enough,” Jesse shouts and pulls you tight into his chest as the pair of you walk through the beginnings of the Republic camp. The plastoid armor digs into your back and knocks the wind out of your chest. “Coric,” he shouts, “need you check this one out. We took in a lot of smoke and might have some minor burns”. Stares from just about everyone in the camp lock onto the two of you. A tangle of collected calmness and frantic fighting.
Before Coric can even ask what happened, you beat him to the first word: “Where’s Kix?” Nausea rocks your stomach as Coric takes you in with a careful look.
“Wasn’t he with you,” he slowly inquires. A crease of confusion digs across his forehead as his gaze flickers between you and Jesse.
At his words, you feel Jesse simultaneously lock up and loosen his grip on you. With weak knees suddenly trying to support you, you almost wish he would hold you tighter with the news. Silence settles between the three of you with an unspoken understanding. Kix never reported for medical duty. Neither his commanding officer or his medical chief knew where he was.
“Think you can hold on a little longer,” Jesse nervously asks, looking at you.
“Didn’t even want to be here in the first place. We need to find Rex and the general,” you reply and nod.
Jesse wraps one arm around you to support you and pushes the two of you to walk faster. Dust clouds kick at your heels with each determined step. You’re going to find Kix, bring him home, and give him hell for everything he’s put you through.
Maneuvering through the aisles of cots and further into the camp, you see Rex and Anakin stand around a makeshift command table. Datapads and a small hologram console crowd the table as the two men speak in tense, hushed tones. Both wear a grave expression that does nothing to hide their concern.
“Rex,” both you and Jesse call out in a rush. Feeling the subtle tremors shifting his armor, you wrap your arm around Jesse to pull him into your side. Both of you lean into each other. Ragged breaths rise and fall from your aching chests. The two of you hold each other up as the commanding officers face you and take a sharp inhale. A choked sound of protest tears at your throat.
“Rex,” Jesse tries again. Anger flares underneath his skin and continues to stoke his anxiety when his ori’vod won’t look him in the eye. His lip curls into a snarl. “Where’s Kix?” he growls.
Jesse’s body twitches underneath your touch, and you find yourself pulling him back as he tries to take a step towards the general and captain. Holding him back, you press your feet into the ground to try to do the same for yourself.
If it comes down to it, neither of you are concerned about stopping the other from running anymore. Now in agreement that something is terribly wrong, both of you are prepared to even give the commanding officers hell if needed to find Kix. The two of you try to give the others the benefit of the doubt that whatever consequence the mission’s success brings, it has nothing to do with Kix’s absence.
General Skywalker exhales a deep breath as he turns to the holo-console. With a press of a button, shaky helmet-cam footage from the battle plays in front of you accompanied by Kix’s shouts. “Always calling the shots, huh,” Kix mutters under his breath before following with, “Copy”. Your eyes flicker from where you disappear out of sight from the holograph to the West power generator that shows up a few moments later.
“Just has to have the last word, kriffsake,” Kix mutters. His helmet scans the area as he approaches the West generator. “Maybe you should come down from your throne and walk amongst the common people for a day. Nothing’s fucking good enough to you,” Kix spits out. His boot kicks a rock tumbling as he rounds the corner to clear the area. “Instead of thinking you’re all knowing, try looking in the mirror. I bet you’d shatter at the sight of your reflection. A person who’s so desperate to prove their worth to others that they insert themselves where they aren’t needed. Even when it puts their life at risk,” he groans and hits the side of his helmet with his fist. The generator hums quietly as the battle rumbles around him, but the area is void of any life. No rubble littering the coarse dirt and rocks. Not a single stray piece of metal or plastoid lurks in the mist. No immediate threats to pull Kix out of his spiraling thoughts. “Calling me a coward when they’d rather sacrifice their life, so they can die a hero rather than fight another day to be a better person”.
Kix’s words knock the wind out of you, and you stagger a step backward. Bumping into Jeese, your chest aches as you choke on your breathing. Dust and realization sting your ears as tears prick at your lash line while you watch Kix check the boulder mass just beyond the generator. As he approaches the obstacle, a blunt impact crashes into his helmet causing the footage to fizzle through static snippets. His com connection cuts in and out as Kix’s shout of surprise quickly turns into noises of combat. Until the hologram fades into the table, and you’re left with his words echoing in your head.
As if a cord has snapped, you feel as if you’re disconnected from reality. Your body feels like it weighs nothing while you do everything to balance the crippling fear trying to push you to your knees. General Skywalker and Captain Rex’s voices sound like they’re systems away even though you could reach out with your hand to either of them at the moment.
The only thought cycling through your head -- the only thought that burns itself into your memory -- is how Kix is missing and he thinks you're a coward.
At least that’s something the two of you could agree on.
You pull your gaze from the holoconsole and look Rex dead in the eyes. Rather than the collected captain you’ve worked with so often, Rex’s apprehensive expression and concerned eyes further stoke the rising flame of determination that courses through you. The sensitive pinpricks that sting your skin heighten the sensation of breaking through your consciousness’s fog.
“So, how are we going to bring Kix back home?” you demand. The finality of your words rings clear through the camp, and the four of you share a look of mutual agreement. None of you would be returning to the Resolute without the medic.

Five-Oh-Thirst (501st x Fem!Reader) Part One
Summary: One little comment sends the night spiraling into hilarious, shameless territory as the boys show you their best lap dances.
A.N. IDK, man, I just really want the 501st boys to be exotic dancers and I figured I'd share that! Please don't take this seriously, it's just for fun and debauchery <3 Also, I highly recommend listening to the songs I link as you read! Enhances the ~experience~
Word Count: 3,174
Warnings: 18+ (minors DNI), drinking, the boys being way too hot and thirsty for you, lap dances, and general debauchery
Tumblr media
It all started with a little holo ad flickering in the corner of the drink menu.
You were with your boys, enjoying some shore leave celebrations at 79s, as was the tradition when returning to Coruscant, but one little comment sent the night spiraling into hilarious, shameless territory.
"Ooo, what's the chances that we'll still be on shore leave next week?" you had asked the table, and when Jesse asked why you waved the ad at him with a grin, "Because they're having a Thunder Star act here next week."
"A what?" Echo squinted at the picture, then let his eyes go wide at the shot of a topless, ab-bearing twi'lek.
"Thunder Star, they're a popular company of exotic male dancers. Looks like 79s’ trying something new."
" 'Exotic male dancers'?" Hardcase smirked, "You mean strippers."
You shrugged, "I prefer to give the profession a little more dignity than that, but, yes."
Fives' glass thudded against the table as he set it down, then snatched the menu out of your hand, "Whoever owns this place is throwing away their money," he leaned back with a smug grin, "I mean, who'd need to hire male dancers when aaaallll this is right here already?" he crooned, running his hands up and down his chest.
That earned a round of laughter.
"What?" he demanded, "It's true! We'd make better entertainment than these clowns."
Jesse was still laughing as he said, "Maybe we should ask the bartender to hire us instead."
"We'd need a group name for that," Kix chimed in, smiling into his drink, "and I don't think the General would approve of a stripper group calling themselves the Five-Oh-First."
"Oh! Oh!" you waved your hand excitedly, "You could call yourselves the Five-Oh-Thirst!"
An even louder roar of laughter at that, Jesse and Hardcase even thudding their fists on the table.
"Perfect!" Hardcase elbowed a chuckling Echo in the side, "Echo, quick, write that down!"
"Although..." you hummed, tapping your chin. It was always so easy to tease the boys, and you took every chance you could. "You guys need a lot more than a clever name to compete with Thunder Star."
"Oh yeah?" Fives leaned in over the table to give you his attention, "Like what?"
You pointed the fruit garnish of your drink at him for emphasis, "Talent." After popping the fruit into your mouth, realizing the rest of them were grinning and leaning in as well, you went on. "Dancing like that takes skill, boys. You can't just shake your ass a little and call it a day."
"That sounds like a challenge, sweetheart," Fives all but purred.
The fruit caught in your throat, "Wh-what?" you coughed.
His smile was wide as he scooted out of the booth, "I'll give you a show you won't forget," he answered with a wink.
The others began whistling and catcalling as he sauntered over to your end of the crescent-shaped booth. Your face was instantly hot at the way he was locking eyes with you, especially when he motioned for you to turn to the end of the seat.
"Come on, mesh'la" he urged, "I need a lap if I'm gonna give you a lap dance."
Beside you, Hardcase was egging Fives on and you heard Jesse say something about music as he grabbed Echo's datapad that had been sitting on the table. Finally, you were over the shock of what was happening and, maybe it was the alcohol buzzing through your body, but some flirtatious confidence rose up in your chest.
You turned to Fives fully, and patted your lap, "Alright, do your worst."
With that, the datapad speakers started blaring music which made Fives clap his hands, "Perfect! Oh, sweetheart, you're in for a treat."
He started the dance by trailing his hands down his chest again, slow this time, keeping his eyes locked on yours. Then he was on you. He framed your knees with his, hovering over your thighs as he started rolling his hips side to side.
Those hands moved over said hips, until they rested on his thighs, drawing your attention just where he wanted. That's when he bent his knees, placing his ass on your lap just as he started moving his hips back and forth.
His smug grin was wide as he mouthed the lyrics of the song, now tucking those hands behind his head and bouncing his chest to the beat of the music. The motion made you jolt despite yourself, and you had to resist the urge to grind up into his tempting ass.
Fives obviously noticed the way you gulped at the sight of him, because his tongue darted out to lick his lips. It was all you could do to suppress a gasp, especially when he shifted his stance, moving back to slot his leg between yours.
With his eyes on yours, he leaned in close, breath hot on your ear as he said, “Damn, mesh’la,” then, again in time with the lyrics, “the things I would do to you.”
You did gasp that time, and he nipped your ear as his reward, before spreading your legs with his. The others were whistling and cheering as he put his hand on your thighs and sank to his knees. Again he made a show of licking his lips as he raked his eyes over you, admiring, and not hiding any of his dirty thoughts. And of course, as he got back to his feet, he flashed you another wink.
Then, with grace you weren’t expecting from an ARC trooper, he hopped onto the booth seat, planting his feet on either side of you so you had the perfect view of his codpiece as he gyrated his hips to the beat.
The others went crazy at that, shouting and banging their glasses all while Fives thrust dangerously close to your flushed face. His fingers came down to stroke your hair and, for just a moment, you thought he would pull you against him, but he only teased the vulgar act as he ground his crotch closer and closer to you.
Fives didn’t stay there long, though, instead, he hopped back down to the ground, grabbed your hand, and hoisted you up.
A delighted squeal left you as he lifted you into those strong arms, wrapping your legs around his waist. He spun you around, this time actually singing the song all while bouncing you up and down with the rolling motions of his hips.
At the table, the boys sang along too, treating ‘Ride it, my pony!’ like a battle cry as Fives enjoyed the feeling of you against him. You were breathless from your hysterical giggles while he danced, and trying to ignore how much heat was traveling south with every thrust against your body.
Fives swayed you back towards the booth and, with your legs still clamped around his hips, he laid you on the table, somehow avoiding everyone’s drinks as the song finished its last repetitive set of lyrics.
Everyone was clapping and cheering as you covered your hot face with your hands, lungs pleading for air since you were still breathless from laughter. Fives was laughing too, just basking in the playful air as he put his hands on either side of your head to brace himself.
“So, convinced, mesh’la?” he chuckled.
When all you did was continue to hide behind your hands, someone reached out and tugged lightly on your wrist, “Oh come on, sweetheart, don’t be shy now!”
Somehow, you managed to take a few gasping breaths into your chest and peek out at him between your fingers, “Okay, maybe you could make it as a professional.”
Fives and several others roared with laughter, “Maybe? After all that, I just get a maybe? You’re breaking my heart, cyare!”
“Well obviously,” said another voice, Kix, as he stepped up and put his hand on his brother’s shoulder to pull him away. Something was gleaming in his eyes as he looked between you two. “You didn’t listen, Fives, she already said you have to do more than shake your ass and grind.”
Intrigued, Fives stepped back, letting your legs fall from him as Kix stepped in front of you instead. He winked, eyes never leaving yours when he reached out and took your hand.
“You have to seduce the woman you’re giving attention to, brother,” he purred.
A chorus of “Oooooos” rose from the booth as Kix pulled you gently up from the table, still eyeing you as he took a few steps back. He must have set his plan into motion before he challenged Fives, because there was now a lone chair pulled up.
That’s when Kix pulled you closer, lips actually daring to hover near yours as he whispered, “Take a seat, gorgeous.”
Well, any air you had managed to pull in before was swiftly gone again. You were glad he was asking you to sit since you suddenly felt very weak in the knees. Kix stood before you, eyes half-lidded as he looked down, gaze sweeping over your lips before he gave a quick nod to Jesse.
Again, Kix must have had a whole plan, because Jesse pressed play on a new song, and you knew you were in for something very different.
Kix didn’t jump in head first, instead, he started slow. His eyes ran up and down your body as he moved a thumb over his lips, teasing, thinking. Then, when your own gaze started to wander down his body, he took that same hand and tapped your chin.
“Eyes on mine, mesh’la.”
And when you obeyed, finally, he touched you. Starting by brushing his knuckles across your cheek as the sensual song played on. Then a finger trailed down your neck, giving just the briefest of attention to your chest before venturing down your arm.
“Beautiful,” he whispered, reverently, as he took your hand again. This time, he placed it just above his belt, laying your palm flat against his toned, hard stomach. “It’s okay, you can touch me all you want, cyare.”
With that and his gentle hold on your wrist, he moved your hand up, letting you feel every bit of his muscular chest under his blacks. All while keeping his bedroom eyes on yours. He didn’t stop at his chest, though, and kept guiding your touch to run across his throat, until he finally cupped your hand over his cheek.
Only then did he break eye contact, just so his eyelids could flutter closed as he leaned into your touch. Your chest was so warm at such a simple act, the look on Kix’s face one of pure adoration, as if your hand on his skin was all he needed.
Then his lips kissed your palm and he finally released your hand as the song’s beat picked up. That’s when he got on his knees before you. Kix places his hands on your thighs, letting out an admiring hum as he gave them a gentle, almost possessive squeeze. He was determined to spread them open too, but, like everything else, he took his time instead of coming in hot.
His hands crept upwards and as they did, very, very subtly, he pushed your legs apart. When his fingers were just on the precipice of your core, his eyes snapped back to yours.
That’s when he pounced. Kix hooked his arms under your knees as he stood, leaving you to slide down the chair into a very vulnerable and exposed position, your ass pressing into his pelvis. He smiled down at you while shrugging your legs onto his shoulders for more comfort, all knowing and smug just like his brother.
Kix stayed with the music, though, and when he took advantage of the suggestive position, it wasn’t Fives’ fast, enthusiastic trusting. The medic rolled his whole body into the motion, slow, deliberate, and letting his action sink into you as his hips met yours. His thrusts were deep and he only pulled back for another one when the beat allowed for it.
Somewhere, probably in another life where Kix wasn’t gazing at you like a goddess, someone said, “Why does this feel even dirtier than Fives’ dance-?”
“Shhh!”
The man holding you didn’t seem to notice or care about the commentary, he only had eyes for you, even as he gave one finally suggestive push of his hips, before letting your legs touch the ground again. Then he slid his arms around you and lifted you back into a proper seated position on the chair.
Of course, he just used this position to his advantage too and caged you by gripping the back of the chair with his hands. That’s when he settled on your lap, silently urging you to keep your eyes on him again and get lost in the feeling of his body on yours. He moved in steady, circling motions, always making sure you felt the brief touch of something hard at the height of every rotation.
Then the song hit its ending pitch and Kix used his grip on the chair to pull himself forward, pressing his chest flush against yours. He lingered there, breath fanning your skin and his lips hovered tantalizingly over yours. Said lips whispered the song’s iconic line just before he closed that small distance and-
And kissed your cheek instead of your mouth.
Even if you wanted to, you couldn’t have stopped the whine that left you. It earned you a chuckle from him and his lips brushed your ear as he whispered, “So, what do you say, cyare? Are you seduced?”
All you could manage was a small nod and, though it was very unlikely that heard what Kix asked, Fives let out an annoyed, “Seriously?”
To please them both you let out a shaky praise, “Both of you could definitely give the professionals a run for their money.”
Everyone seemed pleased at that. Kix finally leaned back, getting up from your lap and offering to help you up like a gentleman.
Or at least, he would have, if Jesse hadn’t jumped up then.
“Oh no, baby, you stay right there. Fives and Kix can’t have all the fun. I think it’s only fair that all of us get to show off our potential.”
Hardcase, Tup, and Echo all cheered at that, and when Jesse started climbing out of the booth, they drummed their hands on the table like the music for a grand entrance. Kix gave you one final wink before making room for Jesse, who only wasted time in doubling back to the table for a moment.
“Hold on, need props for this one!” and he plucked the cherry garnish from Echo’s drink. Echo gave an indignant look as Jesse turned to you again and jabbed a finger at Hardcase, “Hit it!”
Again a beat poured out of the speakers and Jesse wasted no time. His hips instantly started jolting to the music as he put the skewer of fruit between his teeth. When Jesse moved his body it was hard and fast, constantly in motion just as the song demanded. He definitely had some moves and used the bouncing thrusts to push himself closer to where you were seated.
Like most of his brothers, he had forgone the top half of his armor that night, leaving his chest covered in nothing but his blacks. Keeping just an arm’s length away from you, Jesse started rubbing his hands down his sides, until he got to the hem of his shirt. Then, he pulled the fabric out from his belt and lifted it, revealing his well-toned muscles to your wide eyes.
Your greedy eyes pleased him and pulled the garnish from his teeth, “Like what you see, baby?”
He didn’t stop there, of course. Making sure it caught your eye, he trailed the cherry down his chest until it met bare skin. Juice from the fruit collected in the dips of Jesse’s abs as he rubbed it across his stomach. It was your turn to lick your lips, which pleased him even more.
“Come here, mesh’la, I’ll let you have a taste-”
“What the hells is going on up here?!”
The unfamiliar voice had all of you snapping out of whatever debaucherous bubble you had built around yourselves. Somehow, in the midst of all this, no one really seemed to care that you were all still in a corner booth on 79’s second floor.
Well, the manager cared, and he was standing there looking over the scene (you, disheveled in a chair, and Jesse rubbing fruit over his abs) with absolute disgust on his face.
“What? We’re having fun, what’s it to you?” Jesse snapped, clearly annoyed that his shot with you was being interrupted.
“Fun!?” the manager mocked in horror, “Son, this is a bar, not a strip club! Not to mention the racket all of you were making,” he cast a glare at the booth, “out! All of you, get out!”
Hardcase jumped from his seat, “Hold on a damn minute!”
“OUT!” the manager seethed, “And just be thankful I’m just throwing you out tonight and not banning all of Torrent Company!”
Knowing that they would listen if you stepped in, you got up from your seat and took Jesse’s hand, “Come on, boys, we don’t want to be any trouble, right?”
Jesse and Hardcase were still narrowing their eyes at the other man, but, catching your look, they softened. When Tup, Fives, and Echo started gathering their things from the table at your pleading eyes, they finally mumbled their agreements.
Thankfully, the manager didn’t feel the need to continue his berating comments as everyone filed out the door. But, of course, because these were your boys we’re talking about, the moment they were outside, the loud cursing and complaining started.
“This is bantha shit!”
“Buzzkill!”
“No fun!”
“Had the perfect song for my dance!”
You laughed at their array of comments, especially when Hardcase flung his arms around you and clung to you as everyone started walking. “Come on, boys, it’s not that bad! Listen, I say we get some booze from the corner store up the way, and we can make as much of a racket as we want back at my place.”
The words didn’t strike you as anything suggestive. The boys had drunk at your apartment plenty of times before, but, given the context, it was no surprise that some of them exchanged looks.
“I’m in,” Echo said, the corner of his lips lifting as he caught Fives’ eye.
Tup, who was walking backwards in front of you, flashed that toothy smile of his, “Sounds like a perfect night to me.” That’s when he reached up and pulled his hair loose from his top knot. “And back at your place, gives the rest of us a chance to really show you our moves.” He winked at his curls came cascading down.
Hardcase tightened his grip on you, “Oh, kriff yeah!”
Well, looks like the night was just getting started.

Coffee’s 270 follower celebration!
This one is for all of my clone wars and tbb friends out there! I can’t guarantee that your favorite character will be on the list but they’re the ones I write best for.
Characters: Rex, Echo (tbb and tcw), Fives, Kix, Wolffe, Fox, Howzer, Mayday, and Jesse (all will be x reader)
What I won’t write: NSFW, x Male reader, anything that feels uncomfy.
All of these will be fluff and have a happy ending. There may be a smidge of angst or hurt/comfort but these are feel good fics.
How it works: send me a character, a number between 1 and 10, and one of these three emojis: 😜🥰🥹. Each one corresponds to a list of prompts that I have stashed a way in a secret compartment somewhere 👀! The number will help me choose a specific prompt and write your fic.
Open through Saturday March 30th!

Please Hold My Hand
Clone [insert] x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Today is your yearly gynecological exam and you’re less than excited about it, but your boyfriend is there to make it better.
Pairing: Clone [insert] x Fem!Reader
Characters: Clone [insert], Kix
Tags & Warnings: 16+ for allusions to female anatomy, no graphic descriptions, male!gynecologist, gynecological procedures, gynecological tools, fear, anxiety, hurt/comfort, fluff, soft kisses, supportive clone boyfriend, clone insert fic, based on a real life experience and dialogue
Word Count: 3.2k
Author's Note: I had my yearly exam today and it was an absolutely terrifying experience. The nurse had to hold my hand the whole time and she was absolutely amazing! But I thought about how great it would be to have my fave clone there holding my hand instead. This is for all the v*gina owners that struggle with their yearly exams 💚 (I chose Kix as the gyno because I know that man would be super gentle and not weird about it). As always, please enjoy 💚
@clonexreaderbingo Square: Relax
Tumblr media
“I don’t want to go,” you pout while sitting down on the edge of the bed and resting your head in your hands. You were all set to go to your appointment, but now your nerves are getting to you and you’re having second thoughts.
“Meshl'a,” he walks over to you, places a gentle hand on your shoulder, and crouches down to look you in the eyes. “You should go. It’s for your health and safety.”
“But it’s uncomfortable,” you groan as your mind wanders to the last time you went to the gynecologist. You shudder and shift uncomfortably at the memories. “It’s awkward and it hurts.”
He sits down on the bed next to you and wraps an arm around your shoulder to pull you against his side. He leans his head over top of yours and breathes softly. “I can go with you, if you want.”
“You would?” you respond with a little surprise. “Really?” Your heart melts. Out of the few boyfriends you’ve had, none of them ever offered to go to your exam with you. They never understood how truly terrifying the exam was for you.
“Of course,” he answers with a shoulder shrug. “If it will make you more comfortable.”
You hesitate and fidget with your fingers as you think about the offer. On one hand, it would be great to have the emotional support for such a frightening exam, but on the other hand, you don’t want him to see you in such a vulnerable state. Not that he would do or say anything to embarrass you, but you haven’t been together yet, so it might be awkward. You put your hands against your face and blush at the thought.
You remove your hands from your face and clasp them on your lap. “Okay,” you exasperate. “I’ll do it, but only if you go with me.”
“Say no more, cyar’ika,” he gives you a soft kiss on the cheek and gets up to grab his things so he can go with you to your appointment.
As you approach the facility, your anxiety increases and your heart pounds in your chest. You know exactly what is coming and you’re not looking forward to it. You cling a little tighter to his side as you walk in and head to the reception counter. You think it’s a little weird to be at a GAR facility for your exam, but that’s supposedly a perk of being a clone trooper’s girlfriend. You’ve heard good things about the GAR facility’s care, but that doesn’t make you less nervous.
You check in with the receptionist droid and it scans the serial number in his left wrist to make sure you’re eligible to receive care. Your mouth is completely dry as you sit in the waiting area for them to call you in. You hope you get a humanoid doctor and not some cold mechanical droid, but you can never be sure. You don’t get to choose your doctor in these types of facilities. As your foot bounces up and down on the floor, he places a strong hand on your thigh and gives you a small smile.
You take a deep breath and exhale. You tell yourself you’re going to be okay and that he’s with you, so nothing can hurt you in there. You try to convince yourself that this time will be different. Maybe you’ll be able to relax this time. Maybe it’ll fit better this time. Maybe it won’t hurt so much this time. But try as you might, you can’t convince yourself it’ll be better. Before your thoughts can continue, you hear your name called and the two of you get up.
You hang onto his hand in desperation and stare down at your feet while walking towards the droid. Not paying attention to anything else, you suddenly lurch backwards when his hand is no longer moving forward with yours. Unsure as to why he stopped walking, you look up and see the droid holding out its arm in front of him. “Non-spouses are not allowed in the exam room,” the droid states.
“What?” you ask with wide eyes as your anxiety increases. “No, you don’t understand, he needs to go with me.”
“I’m sorry,” the droid continues. “But, protocol dictates that non-spousal family members are not allowed during an exam.”
Your breath catches in your throat. The fear of being alone in that cold room overwhelms you and your heart beats rapidly. You whip around to leave, not caring about the appointment cancellation fee, when you bump nose-first into his chest plate. You startle for a moment, but lean your forehead to rest against him in defeat. Tears begin to form in your eyes. You don’t want to go in there alone. You don’t want them to touch you. You don’t want them to hurt you.
“Shhh,” he hushes while wrapping his warm hands around your back to hold you tight against him. “Udesii, cyar’ika. It’s going to be okay.”
“I don’t want to do this,” you muffle your words into his chest.
“I know,” he soothes while rubbing his hands up and down your back for comfort. “I know.”
“Would you like to cancel your appointment?” the droid asks.
“Can you give us a moment?” he retorts sharply.
“I’m sorry, but we’re on a tight schedule,” the droid points out.
He lets go of you and confronts the droid. “Listen,” he begins with a gruff tone. “She needs a second.”
“Would you like to cancel your appointment?” the droid asks again.
“Can I cancel you?” he raises his voice in annoyance.
“Is everything alright over here?” Kix asks as he walks into the waiting room after hearing the mild confrontation.
“Oh, thank the Maker,” he sighs in relief at the sight of his brother Kix. “This droid won’t let me go in the exam room with her.”
“I see,” Kix notes as he looks at you, sees your terrified expression, and quickly realizes the situation. “Well, we can’t have that, now can we?”
“I’m sorry, sir,” the droid starts again. “But it is against protocol—”
“I’m in charge today,” Kix begins to explain with a snarky tone while placing a finger in the droid's face. “So, I say he can come with her.”
“But—” the droid tries to interject again but is cut off.
“Alright, follow me,” Kix directs while ignoring the droid and walking through the door to the inner facility.
You both follow Kix through the door and down the corridor. The facility is a mirror image of Kamino. Everything is white and bright and… sterile. Your shoes clack on the tile flooring, making an unnerving sound. You grip his hand tighter as you walk through the halls and he gently squeezes it to remind you he’s still there. The further you walk the more your anxiety increases. You can feel the sweat forming in the palm of your hand and you find it embarrassing.
Your first stop is the vitals station. You nervously step on the scale and Kix notes the weight in your chart. Kix then notes your blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation before leading you both to one of the exam rooms. As you enter the room, you see the exam table with the stirrups and a knot forms in the pit of your stomach. You feel sick. You hate this appointment more than anything in the world. It’s only once a year, but once a year is enough.
Kix pulls out a gown and a small sheet and hands it to you. “Everything comes off, gown ties in the front like a robe, and the sheet goes across your lap. I’ll be back in a couple minutes.”
“What?” you ask as your face goes pale. “You’re… You’re doing the exam?”
“Yes, I am,” Kix answers hesitantly as he can tell you are uncomfortable with the idea. “There’s a lifeform giving birth to twenty upstairs, so they pulled some last minute fill-ins from the troops here on Coruscant.”
“Nope,” you squeak out in response as you shake your head and back away until you feel his chest plate against you.
“I’m fully certified,” Kix explains as he tries to quell your worries. “Done it several times and seen it all, literally.”
“Nope,” you repeat. Your head is spinning. You don’t care what credentials Kix has or how many times Kix has done it. There’s no way a he is touching you down there.
“It’s okay, cyar’ika,” he reassures you while gently rubbing your shoulders. “I’d trust this man with my life.”
“It’s not my life I’m worried about!” you retort with fear.
“I’ll be here the whole time,” he continues to comfort you and plants a small kiss on the top of your head. “You know I won’t let him hurt you, right?”
You think about it for a moment, weighing the options in your mind. The whole situation has completely blown up in your face and you’re not sure you can relax now even if you want to. You mull it over quickly, because you know Kix has other things to do. You also know that your boyfriend really won’t let anyone hurt you and he’ll be right there beside you, but it’s still a hard decision. You take a deep breath and squeeze your eyes shut.
“Okay,” you sigh in agreement while leaning your head back against his chest plate. A male human is still better than a droid.
Kix nods his head and leaves the exam room and closes the door to give you privacy. You give a shy pleading look at your boyfriend and he turns himself around without a word. You take a deep breath and begin undressing. The tile floor is cold against your feet and goose bumps form on your body as the cool air in the room brushes over your skin. You shiver as you tie the gown and hop onto the exam table. You lay the sheet across your lap and cross your legs tightly.
You startle upright when you hear the knock on the door and Kix walks back in. Kix takes a seat on the rolling chair and puts on a pair of gloves while looking at your anxious state. Your muscles are tense, your legs are not quite where they need to be, and you look like you're ready to jump out of a window. “Are you okay?” Kix asks with concern.
“No,” you say with a shaky voice. “I don’t like this exam.”
“Not many do,” Kix agrees with a soft chuckle, trying to lighten the mood a little. “I’ll do it as quickly as I can, okay?”
You nod your head because your words are lost somewhere in the atmosphere.
“You know,” Kix begins as he pulls out the needed tools. “They say, men are actually more gentle when giving this exam than women are.”
You give a small ‘mhm’ in acknowledgement.
“See,” he says while leaning against the counter next to the exam table. “Kix will take good care of you no problem.”
You really want to slap him in the face for that remark. Not that you would, since he’s genuinely trying to comfort you, but it’s hard for men to understand what it’s like to have a metal duckbill shoved inside you and then being pried open like an oyster. It’s humiliating is what it actually is, and painful. As you wait for Kix to continue, your breath becomes rapid and your body begins to shake. You want to get it over with, but you don’t want to get it over with.
“We’ll start with the pap smear, then a pelvic exam, and finish with a quick breast exam,” Kix explains while wheeling over in front of the exam table. “Sounds good?”
You nod automatically, but you really just want to vomit.
“Lay back, scoot forward to the edge of the table, and put your feet in the stirrups,” Kix instructs.
You take another deep breath and start scooting down the table. Your face turns red at how awkward this is. The silence in the room is deafening. It feels like they’re both staring and judging you, even though they aren’t. You lift your feet up and place them into the stirrups, but lean your knees against each other with an iron grip, too embarrassed to expose yourself. You try to swallow the lump in your throat as you think about what’s going to happen next.
Kix gives you a soft and compassionate look at your discomfort. “I'm gonna need you to spread your legs out.”
You look up at the ceiling and hold your breath as you slowly open your legs to put them in the proper position. Your heart beats rapidly and pounds in your ears. You don’t want to be here. You don’t want to be here. You tell yourself this over and over again as your body shakes in fearful anticipation. You're pulled out of your downward spiral by a warm hand being placed atop yours. You look over and it’s him, standing right next to you, looking at you with his big brown eyes.
“Please hold my hand,” you ask with a shaky voice. He smiles and opens his palm for you to grab his. His hands are so much bigger than yours, but also gentle and warm. You feel a bit more strength while holding onto him.
He bends over to get on your level and places a kiss on your cheek. “Cyar’ika, you’re doing great.”
His presence and words of comfort give you a small sense of peace, but the feelings quickly dissipate when you hear the dreaded clink of the speculum. You grip his hand tighter and you feel your body tense up automatically. You know tensing only makes it worse, but who wouldn’t feel tense being splayed out like this? You try to breathe through it, but it’s like you're underwater and drawing in fear. You hold your breath and brace for it.
“Take a deep breath for me and relax,” Kix coaches you as he rolls to the side to look at you and motions with his hands. Kix takes a deep breath along with you. “It’ll be over before you know it.”
You take another deep breath and feel the torturous instrument intrude. “Ow!” you flinch away from the source of the pain and grip his hand tighter. The instrument intrudes a little farther. “Ow!” you yell, digging your nails into his skin. Ow! Ow! Ow!” you yell louder in succession. “Please, stop!”
Kix stops the exam and gives you a moment to collect yourself.
“Do we have to do this?” you ask through a panting breath as tears form in the corner of your eyes. Seeing your distress he kisses your temple to comfort you.
“I’m sorry, but we do,” Kix laments, feeling awful about your pain and discomfort. “I know this isn’t fun.”
“I don’t want to do this,” you say while bringing a hand up to cover your face to wipe the tears away.
“Eh,” Kix begins while rummaging around in one of the drawers. “There might be a smaller one in here somewhere.”
“I’m so sorry,” you cry in embarrassment at how childish you are being.
“There’s nothing to be sorry about,” Kix encourages as he pulls out another speculum. “You’ve done nothing wrong. There are a lot of women who struggle with this exam.”
“I think you’re doing a great job,” he reassures you while nuzzling the side of your face with his own.
“Ready to try again?” Kix asks with a kind smile.
You take a deep breath and mutter ‘no’ under your breath, but you nod your head yes instead. Kix starts the exam again and you feel the instrument start to intrude. “Ow!” you wince. It’s still uncomfortable, and painful, but it’s better than the last try. “Ow!” you grimace as it finally makes some progress. Now you can feel the instrument start to pressurize your insides. You groan and grit your teeth and scrunch your neck at the pain and discomfort. You tighten your grip on his hand.
“Easy,” he whispers into your ear in response to your intense grip. He kisses your cheek. “Deep breaths, cyar’ika. Deep breaths. Relax. I’ve got you.”
That’s right. You forgot to breathe again. You take in a few deep breaths, but the room starts spinning as you realize your beginning to hyperventilate. You want to leave right now. You turn your head to look at him with pleading eyes, waiting for him to scoop you up and remove you from this torture chamber, but he doesn’t. He just gazes lovingly into your eyes. So much love. So much care. So much comfort.
“And done,” Kix says as he pulls the speculum back out. “How are you doing?”
“I…” you say breathlessly while swallowing hard against your dry throat. “I’m okay.” In reality, your insides are throbbing and your head is spinning.
“You’re going to feel a little pressure again for the pelvic exam,” Kix warns as he grabs the surgical lubricant off the counter. “Are you ready for this?”
Of course you’re not ready. You’re never ready for someone to do this to you. You’re not sure which one is worse, the pap smear or the pelvic exam, but they're both terrible. You let out a little ‘mhm’ in response and take a few more breaths. As the pressure increases, you wince. “Ow!” You shut your eyes tightly and squeeze his hand again as you wait for it to be over. You feel the pressure subside and you let out the breath you were holding in.
“All done,” Kix says happily as he tosses his gloves in the trash receptacle. Kix puts on a new pair and does a quick breast exam. “The results of the pap smear will be back in a couple days, but other than that, you’re all set to go.”
“Thanks,” you say while slowly sitting up on the exam table. You feel dizzy and your legs are like jello. Your boyfriend stands up beside you and slides a hand across your back to help stabilize you when he notices your sway. You pull your shaky legs out of the stirrups and let them dangle down the side of the exam table.
Kix gives you another smile before taking his leave. “You did great kid. Like a real trooper.”
You smile back at Kix and he shuts the door behind to leave the two of you in peace. You lean your head against his chest, and he wraps his arms around you and plants small kisses on the top of your head. He was right, it was much better with him there. To be able to hold his hand and squeeze it when you were in pain was such a relief. To know he was there, giving you praise, and encouraging you through the whole thing was amazing. He’s definitely a keeper.
“Why don’t we go grab some ice cream,” he says while helping you off the exam table and steadying your wobbly legs on the floor.
“That would be perfect,” you answer with a sigh of relief.

My Masterlist
I will do my best to keep this updated. I did not create one of these for my other blog and by the time someone mentioned it, I was too far in.  Also, with longer fics posted less frequently, it seems like I might be more successful keeping a masterlist here.

Rules
main masterlist
Tumblr media
hello! thanks for being here, here's the rules for requesting nothing too serious <3
Tumblr media
My Writing:
A lot of my writing isn't canon. I love writing AU stuff and changing characters to fit what I'm writing. Although I do try to stay true to the character sometimes I'll go "off script" and write shit they'd never do or say. don't be offended by it.
I mainly write NSFW but I enjoy writing angst and fluff as well feel free to request any type of writing and I will try my best.
Everything I write is just for fun and not to be taken seriously <3
Tumblr media
Characters I write for:
Anakin Skywalker Obi-Wan Kenobi Luke Skywalker The Bad Batch (all of them cuz i'm a slut) Platonic!Omega The 501st Boys (Rex, Fives, Echo, Jesse and Kix) Commander Cody Commander Wolffe Commander Mayday
~def more in future~
Tumblr media
Gender, Sexuality and Pronouns
I am a cis woman so I mainly write cis man x cis woman content with p n v sex. My writing usually caters to an AFAB audience. If you would like to request I use different pronouns/depictors in a piece I'd be happy too :)
I do also like writing x male reader so request if you'd like tooo
Tumblr media
NSFW
I would like to mention with my smut it isn't very accurate and it's all meant to be fantasy like most smut. Don't bother telling me if you don't like it cause I write for fun x
I will write for the majority of kinks so feel free to request anything that isn't on the list below and I'll most likely reply...or add it to the list if I don't like it which is superrr rare.
MINORS DNI
Kinks I will not write about:
Blood play
Scat/Piss kink- squirting is fine no straight-up piss though
Rape
Incest
Omegaverse

A cool chill settles across your body as a warm glow begins to illuminate Courescant’s skyline. Gentle kisses trail across your cheekbone as wandering hands pull you closer into your lover’s chest. Your hands run across Kix’s bare chest, and a soft sigh falls from the man’s lips. His breath tickles your skin, and he presses his face into the crook of your neck.
“Don’t go,” you plead.
Kix’s heart shatters. His arms squeeze you tighter. Already awake for some time now, Kix wanted to spend his remaining hours hidden from the galaxy, tucked away at home with the love of his life. His breath shudders, and he rests his forehead on yours. “As long as I have a home to return to,” Kix says and looks softly into your eyes, “nothing will keep me away from you. There is never a moment I don’t search for comfort in a memory we have created together. We have a lifetime to foster our love and start our family. As long as my heart beats, it will beat for you”.
Meeting his golden gaze, you breath hitches. Mere moments from returning to war, Kix lays beside you with an adoring gaze as the sunrises outside the window behind him. You reach out to hold his cheek in one palm, and your heart swells as he leans into your gentle touch to then press a kiss to the inside of your wrist. Kix takes hold of your hand and keeps them connected above your hearts.
“You’ll always have a home with me, Kix,” you promise. “There’s only one person I imagine waking up beside every morning. One person who I dream of every night to keep me company even when we’re systems apart. Know that when you leave, you take my entire heart with you, because it belongs to no one else”.
Neither of you know who shed the first tear, but you take your hand from his to carefully wipe away the few he shares with you just as he reaches to do the same. Bodies and souls forever connected since the moment your gazes met. Anyone who witnesses your shared, tender love recognizes the two of you as soulmates.
After a few more moments of peace, Kix finally braves what’s beyond his safe place. Pulling away from your embrace, Kix’s heart lurches as you continue to hold onto him. He presses a lingering kiss to your temple and eases your hands to hold onto his pillow. Kix leaves your shared bedroom, and he quickly runs through the shower. He takes the time to mentally prepare himself and shake off the uneasy feeling churning inside him as he uses your body wash to relax.
It’s only what seems like seconds after he stepped out of bed that you pad quietly behind Kix to the apartment’s entryway. Your bodies find eachother once more as the two of you hug each other, neither wanting to be the first to pull away. Your well-loved sleep shirt catches on his well-worn blue armor as the pair of you sway.
“I’ll be back before you can even miss me,” Kix reassures you. He presses a soft kiss to your lips that’s followed by another. A few more quick kisses soon follow after that make you laugh.
When he grabs his helmet from the entry table and takes the step away towards the door, a cold wave of uncertainty washes over you. “I miss you,” you weakly laugh with tears threatening to fall.
Kix, with a similar expression, smiles sadly: “I’ll be home soon, cy’arika, and we’ll be able to celebrate our anniversary”.
“I’ll count down the days, love. Stay safe and come home, Kix”.
“I promise”.
As the door slides shut, you wrap your arms around yourself unable to shake off the sinking feeling overcoming you.
Nothing out of the ordinary stopped you from entering or exiting through that door in the cycles to come. You went about your life the best you could, even with the gnawing unease. Friends came and went to hang out nights in. Family popped in and out to check in with you.
Until the day you open the door, ready to go shopping to prepare for your anniversary, and you nearly run into Captain Rex who stands with his bucket securely at his side with his hand ready to knock.
Everything stands still as you stare at your boyfriend’s commanding officer. The air wraps around you in a thick blanket, and your knees wobble. “He’s not dead,” you seethe. Yet, you weren’t angry. How could you be angry at the man who looks at you with an understanding expression.
Rex’s heart breaks while he watches you bravely face what you thought was your worst fear. He presses his lips in a firm line and thinks of what to tell you. Orders came through to share what would be easiest to hear. Even the general is concerned about how the 501st’s sweetheart would handle the news, and he thought it better to give closure. Standing before you and bearing witness to a side only shared with his brother, Rex steps towards you and rests his helmet on the entry table.
“We don’t know,” Rex softly admits.
“You have lists,” you quickly deflect, “of every fallen brother. Kix will not become just a name on some casualty count. He won't become another number. He’s coming home”. Your voice shakes as you try to hold onto reality.
Rex shuts his eyes tight for a moment, “Kix has gone missing in action, cy’are”.
When he opens his eyes, Rex witnesses you break before him. He quickly takes you into his arms and holds you close as you beat your fist down on his faded, blue armor. Your sobs drown Rex’s soft condolences and promises to do whatever he can to support you.

Live While We’re Alive
Tumblr media
(gif by @rex-is-best)
pairing: commander wolffe x f!reader
summary: you thought being a newly recruited civilian doctor to the GAR was hard enough until you developed a hopeless crush on Commander Wolffe
words: 2.8 k
warnings: mature, some suggestive talk, mutual pining, medical exams, co-workers to lovers, a doctor having inappropriate thoughts about their patient
a/n: I started writing this awhile ago and then lost all creative motivation but I've been in a Wolffe mood the past few days and sad we didn't get to see him in The Bad Batch so here we are. I'd like to apologize to my doctor dad and all medical professionals everywhere lol. Also, I had intended for this to end in smut but then got lost in feelings so there mayyyy be a chapter 2. We'll see ;)
read on ao3!
You want to fuck him. It’s been decided. This realization couldn’t have come at a worse time, though. You’re surrounded by Jedi and Clone Officers in a very important meeting detailing your next mission. But you only have eyes for one of the men and he’s currently standing at the head of the room giving a briefing to the holo of Master Yoda. It’s a testament to Commander Wolffe’s presence that you barely notice the little green Jedi Master he’s conversing with. Well, his presence and his extreme handsomeness.
When you’d first met him, you’d been truly intimidated. The other women you worked with nodded in understanding, whispering they had been thrown off by his cybernetic eye and prominent scar. But that wasn’t it. You’d noticed those things, but that wasn’t what made you uneasy.
It was the fact that he took one look at you and seemed to see right into your soul. You couldn’t explain it but you felt like with just a glance, he could tell your deepest insecurities. And stars, did you have a lot of those.
You had worked your way up through the medical field and had started your residency at the biggest hospital in Coruscant. After your training ended, you had secured a permanent job there. It had been difficult, to say the least. Though you knew you were qualified, even more so than most of your male co-workers, you still doubted yourself often.
Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi had come to visit you one nondescript Thursday afternoon, telling you of the need for doctors in the GAR. He said you came most highly recommended when he was searching for recruits but still, you thought a mistake had been made and that someone soon would realize and send you back to your normal life. It was a recurring nightmare you’d developed in the past few weeks that shook you from your sleep.
You had agreed to join the GAR, sympathetic to the cause and wanting to do your part. The next few weeks had consisted of you getting your bearings and meeting the rest of the staff at the base . Kix, the clone medic in charge, had helped you learn the ropes and had introduced you to all his brothers. At first, you had been overwhelmed by the sea of identical faces. As the weeks had gone on, you’d learned everyone’s names and they’d made you feel welcome, like one of their own.
The Commander and you had crossed paths several times. He was polite but distant. Not like you blamed him. He had more important things to do than exchange drawn out pleasantries. With each run-in, though, he seemed to be making more of an effort to be personable. Unfortunately, each conversation left you looking more and more like an idiot. Or a di’kut. The boys had been teaching you some Mando’a.
You were a medical professional, a well-respected doctor and yet Wolffe made you feel unsure of yourself. It had been so long since you’d had a crush that you didn’t realize this was what the beginning of one felt like.
*******
As you sit around the war room table, you feel even more like a school girl. Instead of paying attention to whatever Master Yoda is saying, you’re transfixed by Wolffe’s face. The hazy blue light from the holo reflects off his features, making him look ethereal. His scar looks even more prominent and you blush, remembering how often you’ve wondered what it would feel like to let your fingers trace it.   And his lips. They’re moving, responding to whatever the Jedi has said. They’re mesmerizing and now you’re thinking of what it would be like to kiss him. Or even better yet, to have those lips pressed against the plushier parts of your body.
You continue to stare until you realize his face has turned to you. It probably only takes you a second to come back to reality but it feels like an eternity. Somehow you’re able to respond to the question.
“Yes, Commander. All medical personnel are prepared for an 0800 liftoff. Kix will take his team with the 501st and I’ll have my staff along with the 104th. We’ll reconnoiter once we’ve landed on Hisseen.” The rest of the table nods, moving the conversation along. Wolffe stares at you for a moment, a hint of a smirk on his lips. You avert your gaze, finding the table a much safer object of your attention.
The discussion wraps up and Wolffe stands at attention, puffing his chest out, before Master Yoda disappears. Once again, your eyes are drawn to him. You’re not sure how but he makes something so mundane look indescribably attractive. Wolffe’s head turns in your direction but you’ve already bolted from your seat, hoping to cool down in the hallway.
Kix pushes through the crowd to get to you. “Hey, Doc. How’d the meeting go?” You shrug. “Nothing new to report. Just making sure we’re all set for our campaign.” He’s shifting back and forth, a sort of glazed look in his eyes. You realize he’s not paying particularly close attention. It’s the look of someone asking you something just so they can request a favor in return.
“Hmm oh yeah, that’s nice. Say, Doc, do you think you could cover for me for a few hours? I have some urgent business to attend to.”
“Since when is playing Sabacc with Fives and the boys urgent?”
“Since I remembered how terrible they are at it. I can make a real killing playing against them.”
You laugh. It’s true. You’ve come to love those men but a lot of them are really horrible at the game. You’ll need to give them a remedial course if you have any downtime on Hisseen. “Of course. What do you need me to do?” He rewards you with a huge grin. “Nothing hard! A few higher ups coming in for their physicals. Just the usual. Make sure they’re in tip top shape to get shot at by some tinnies.”
He gives you the list. It’s only a handful of men but the last one on it makes your blood go cold. “Commander Wolffe needs a physical?” Kix is oblivious to your inner turmoil. “Oh yeah, but he knows the drill. Honestly everyone can do it themselves at this point. We’re basically there to oversee it as a formality.”
You swallow down your apprehension and nod. “Sounds easy enough. Go have fun. And take it easy on them, will ya? Let them keep a little of their dignity intact” Kix just grins and shoots you a wave as he runs off.
*******
Your first few appointments go just fine. The officers are professionals and Kix was right, they could do these routine physicals with their eyes closed. You give them all your seal of approval and settle in to do your paperwork before your last, most anticipated patient arrives. The forms in front of you hold no interest and you find yourself checking the chrono every few seconds.
It’s not easy but you manage to finish your work. You set it aside and take steadying breath. Five more minutes and he’ll be here. You scold yourself. The Commander has never been anything but professional. You’re the one thinking these very unprofessional thoughts.
And you’re a doctor, for kriff’s sake. Your patients should be able to come to you without worrying you may be fantasizing about what they look like naked. But these are uncharted waters. It’s your first time having to deal with a patient you’re this attracted to. They really should take your medical license away.
Just as you’re thinking of packing it all up and handing in your resignation to the Jedi Council, a knock at the door snaps you to attention. Well, here goes nothing. You scold yourself once again for checking your reflection in the mirror before answering the door.
You had tried to adopt a passive, professional look to your face before greeting Wolffe but it must not have worked. “Everything alright, Doc? I’m not early, am I?” You shake your head.“Not at all. Punctual as always, Commander.” You beckon for him to come in and take a seat. You close the door, then sit across from him at your desk.
Your datapad hums to life and you busy yourself opening the appropriate forms you need to fill out. The weight of his eyes is heavy on you and your cheeks heat up in spite of yourself. You push on through as best you can.
“Well, Commander, how are you feeling today?” There’s that ghost of a smirk again but it vanishes so quickly you're not sure if you imagined it. “I feel like a million credits.” You giggle despite it not even being that funny. You’ve got it bad. “Glad to hear it. This should be quick then.” You gather your equipment and get to work.
First, you take his weight. Then, you listen to his heart. You press the stethoscope to his sternum, thankful you can do this over his blacks. He observes you the whole time. “And what about you? How are you today, Doc?” You risk a glance and meet his eyes. That was a mistake.
“Me? Oh-um just fine. Maybe not like a million credits but a few hundred at least.” You trail off dumbly but he humors you with a chuckle. You’re not sure you’ve ever heard that sound from him before. It’s like music to your ears. “Anything I can do to help? You do look a little flushed. Are you sure you don’t have a fever?” You avert your eyes again.
“No. I’m alright. It’s just, uh, hot in these uniforms. The coarseweave doesn’t breathe.”
“You sure? Maybe I should be the one giving you a check-up.”
You realize he’s toying with you now.
“That won’t be necessary, Commander.”
You move on to check his lungs. “Breathe in for me.” You move the stethoscope to his chest, then move it around a few different spots on his back. “You can call me, Wolffe. If you’d like.” He breathes in every time, not even needing prompting, ever the dutiful soldier, even when he’s teasing you.
“I would like that. Thank you, Wolffe.”
Next, you measure his blood pressure. You’re shocked that it’s so low. He sees the look of surprise on your face. “Something wrong?”
“Not at all. The opposite, in fact. Your pressures are great. I just thought with your lifestyle they might, understandably, be a bit higher.”
“What kind of lifestyle do you think I have?”
You’re backtracking as quickly as you can. “I just meant, your life as a soldier, it must be extremely stressful.”
There’s that smirk again. “It is. But you don’t get to be a Commander by not being able to handle the pressure.”
“Of course. But even so, if you’d like some stress relief techniques I can suggest some.” He hums as if really thinking it over. Thankfully there’s only one part of your exam left. Which is good because you’re not sure how much resolve you have remaining.
“Everything looks great. I’ll just do a head and neck exam and then I can send you on your way.”
You need to touch him for this part but you stop yourself, hands hovering but not quite meeting their destination. You feel like once you touch him, really feel his skin under your fingers, there may be no going back.
Wolffe sees your hesitation, then slowly reaches out to take your hands. You watch with wide eyes as he guides them to his neck. He looks up at you innocently enough but you can tell he’s laughing internally. You try to reign in control of the situation.
“Sorry, I just got distracted.” The Commander studies you but this time it’s in earnest. “Are you nervous? This’ll be your first time in an active war zone, right?” You had been anxious but not about that. But now that he mentions it, yeah, you honestly don’t know what you’ve gotten yourself into.
“Yes, I’m not sure what to expect. I guess you could say I’m a little scared.” Wolffe gently holds your chin, directing you to look back at him. “I won’t lie. It’ll be overwhelming and frightening. Battles can seem never-ending. But I promise I won’t let anything happen to you.”
You’re staring into each other’s eyes and you don’t want to stop. But then he’s clearing his throat and gently removing his hand from your skin. You realize you’ve been resting your own hands on his shoulders this whole time. “Thank you, Wolffe. I do feel much better knowing you’ll be there.” You offer him a smile, hoping it conveys just how much you appreciate him looking out for you.
You begin your exam, gently kneading where his neck meets his shoulders, checking for any anomalies. Then you move to his throat. The throat you’ve so often been distracted by. It’s featured prominently in your daydreams. You move your hands along it, under his jawline. Having a man this powerful baring one of the most vulnerable parts of his body to you is intoxicating. Focus, di’kut.
Everything feels normal except for some knots you find resting right below the surface of his smooth skin. “Lymph nodes feel good. You’re a little tense, though. But I bet it’s from that bucket you have to wear most of the day.” He hums in thought. “True. But even so. Maybe you could give me some of those ideas for stress management?” He looks up at you with big eyes. There’s mischief in them but something else. Vulnerability?
You gulp audibly. “Of course. There are a few that work particularly well, um, like deep breathing techniques, going on walks, talking with friends, meditation, journaling, physical activity…” You’re rambling, fighting a losing game against your resolve. Wolffe thinks on it. “Physical activity seems like a good place to start.” His hands come up to gently cover yours that are still resting on his neck.
The sensation of his calloused fingers on your skin sends shivers down your body. You close your eyes, feeling the last of your self-control topple over. “Wolffe,” you whine “We shouldn’t…” He immediately drops his hands, worry etched on his face. “I’m so sorry. It’s just- I thought you wanted-.” He cuts himself off, snapping up to his feet and to attention. “Doctor, you should report me to General Plo Koon for immediate disciplinary action.”
Dank Farrik, you’ve just ruined everything.“Wolffe! No, I’m not reporting you to anyone. If anything you should report me for being so unprofessional.” His shoulders relax a bit but he still eyes you as if you’re a live grenade that might explode at any second. “What do you mean?” You sigh in frustration. This isn’t how you wanted to confess your feelings to him.
“I…want you, Wolffe. The second I realized that I should have asked to be re-assigned to a different battalion. Instead I thought I could push those feelings down and continue to do my job. Looks like that was a mistake.” You hang your head, avoiding his piercing gaze. He’s silent for just a moment but it feels like an eternity.
“So, you want me and I want you?” You nod your head, ashamed, as he continues. “Then what’s the problem, Doc?” Your eyes snap to his, not believing what you’re hearing.
“Isn’t it wrong of us?”
Wolffe sits down on the exam table again, genuinely thinking on it. “I don’t see why. We’re both consenting adults. We don’t work directly with each other- I report to General Koon, you report to General Kenobi- so there’s no real conflict of interest. The worst we’ll face is a little ribbing from the boys if they find out.”
You raise your head to look him in the eyes, needing to make sure he’s serious and that this isn’t some twisted joke. What you find staring back at you is hope and promise. He senses your trepidation and gently takes your hands in his. “I’m sorry if I came on strong. But the thing about this life is that there are no guarantees. Tomorrow isn’t promised and so I figured I’d rather go for something, someone, that I want and have my heart broken rather than regretting my inaction.”
Your eyes roam the scars on his face, evidence of just how true his words are. You’re heading into active battle tomorrow. One or both of you could be injured, or worse. You step towards him. He spreads his legs so you have room to get closer. You rest your forehead on his, breathing him in.
His hands come up to caress your sides. You take a shaky breath. He questions you softly. “Cyar’ika?” Ah, now that’s one of the new words you definitely remember. His vulnerability makes you ache and the decision to hand your heart over is an easy one. “You’re right, Wolffe. Might as well do some living while we can.”

Missing You
Ahh this would be so cute with Echo. May or may not be biased because— I love him with all my heart, but since you offered you get Echo. You are a medic in this because, uh yeah I am SO creative. But anyways, Echo calls you Doc because I dunno how to use cooler nicknames.
Echo x Male!Reader: “I remember practicing to ask you out in the mirror.”
Warnings: It is a little sad because I am kind of in my feels rn. It has its fair share of happy stuff though, don’t worry.
Tumblr media
You were a medic, that often worked along side Kix in the Medbay. The first time you and Echo met he was in with a blaster shot to the leg. It wasn’t anything that you couldn’t help in healing, though. Taking over for Kix as he tended to one of his other brothers.
You were calm and collected. Starting conversation with the man to distract him from the pain as you disinfected and then patched up his wounds. Eyes flickering up to look to him when he would wince and tense up. Though he gave you a look that said, ‘I’m fine, keep going.’ So you did.
Echo always requested to have you helping him. Claiming that you were more gentle than his brother was. Which you were, in some ways, but honestly he just wanted an excuse to hear your voice. To be near you. After a few visits, he would start looking for you when he knew you weren’t working. Go out of his way to walk with you to your quarters, or to the mess. Or to wherever you were going. It made your day. You absolutely loved it. He was so kind, and thoughtful. He listened to you, let you talk, and even shared stories with you on the days that you weren’t really in the mood to hold a solid conversation.
But now? Now that was all gone. Now you wouldn’t be seeing him in the medbay, or the mess, or bump into him in the halls. You wouldn’t be able to sit in your quarters with him and eat some of the snacks you snuck in for him from the last mission that you were needed out on the field. He wasn’t able to bring you trinkets from the planets that he visited. None of that was able to happen again. All you had was your memories.
Your damned memories that seemed to be slowly fading after months went by without him. You were beginning to forget how he laughed. Sure his brothers shared the same laugh, but something about his was unique. You were beginning to forget little details, and it upset you more than anything. The others in the 501st could tell, too. They all knew you and Echo were close. Even Fives could see that the two of you wanted to be more than friends. It wasn’t rocket science. So, the moment Rex found out that Echo could be alive. He made it his mission to not only save him for Echo, but for you as well.
Echo wasn’t the only trooper that loved your smile and your kind heart. So he hoped if he got him back for you. Even the closure of his body, then it would finally put you at ease.
You weren’t told about any of this. Not until you heard troopers talking about how they found a POW. You were curious, to say the least. Finding one of the shines that was talking about it with his brothers. “Who was the prisoner?” You asked with a brow raised. You had lost so many men, so many friends after Echo, that you never believed it would be him. Though a piece of you, deep down. Screamed and shouted in hopes that they would say his name or number.
“An Arc Trooper, sir, went by the name of Echo. They’re bringing him back here with Clone Force 99.” The shiny informed you, and you felt your heart stop. Your eyes were darting around. Breathing picking up a bit, this was a joke, wasn’t it? It had to be. Rushing off past the men to find someone to fill you in on what in stars name was happening.
You sooner or later ended up getting a hold of General Skywalker. He could tell you were distressed. “What sort of sick joke is this?” You spat, starting in before Anakin could even get a word in. “The shinies are talking about how Echo is alive? That’s impossible. I was there when the explosion happened, he’s not, why are they saying this?” You were on the verge of tears as you paced your quarters. Running your hands through your hair. “Oh, he’s alive alright. Why don’t you come outside?” He spoke with a smirk. Anakin knew about your feelings for Echo, and you knew he didn’t mind. He was supportive, even. Anakin always treated you like the little brother he never had, and told you to go for it a number of times. Though you never did, and you greatly regret it.
“Y/n, just come outside and see for yourself.” You were brought back to the conversation. Biting your bottom lip and hanging up on the general. Rushing out the door and down the hall. Until you were exiting the hanger and finding a group of people gathered around.
Your stomach was turning. Heart pounding in your chest. Then the world felt like it froze when you saw him. He was talking with a group that you knew had to be Clone Force 99. You knew it had to be Echo, his armor didn’t match theirs. He looked like a clone, at least. If it was, he looked horrible. But not in a way that you still didn’t want him just as bad as you did nearly a year ago.
You were stuck in place, waiting for him to turn, and when he did. His eyes fell on you. His expression dropped, and he froze up as well. “Cyare..” You watched his lips mouth. Your eyes tearing up, it was him. It was Echo. Your Echo.
You started with a fast walk, and then a jog over to the other. Him moving towards you nearly just as fast. The two of you extending your arms and then engulfing one another in a hug. Something the two of you missed more than you could both remember. “Echo, I- Are you okay? oh my force I’ve missed you so much-“ You sobbed as you burried your face in his neck and he rested his forehead on your shoulder. “I’ve missed you so much, too, Doc, not a day went by I didn’t think about you.” He murmured, and that made the dam break. Tears falling from your eyes in streams.
You were at a loss for words, the two of you holding onto one another for what felt like forever, but honestly it wasn’t long enough. “You’ve changed your hair?” He muttered, reaching up to run his fingers through your hair with his good hand. It was longer than the last time the two of you saw each other. “You changed yours, too.” You murmured. Reaching up and running your fingers over the top of his head. Causing the two of you to snicker a bit.
You both parted slightly so Echo could rest his forehead on your own. His eyes, unlike his skin. Were still bright and had some life in them. Your hand falling to cup his face with a small smile. “Y/n?” You raised your brows a bit. His voice was soft, and stars you missed him saying your name. You missed his voice in general. “Yeah?” You spoke in a near whisper. Shuddering a bit as his hand ran to cup the back of your neck.
He looked nervous. Eyes darting to the side and then back to yours. Gulping, even. “Echo, what is it?” You asked again, and he sighed. “I know, I just got back, but I don’t wanna waste my chance, not now, not ever. Never again,” You stared at him, creasing your brows. What was he saying? “I want to take you on a date, just the two of us, I don’t know where, but.. Kriff, Y/n I like you, and I have since the first time I met you. I maybe even love you, you were what kept me going, you kept me fighting. Because I knew you would be there when I got back. Even if you got into a relationship with someone else, you would be there for me, like old times.”
You were tearing up again, and you could see the panic in his eyes when another tear drop rolled down your cheek. “You do-“ You couldn’t speak, for you knew you would just break down. Which would scare him more. So you reached up and cupped his face with both hands now. Pulling him in for a kiss. Interrupting whatever he was about to say.
The kiss was soft, Echos hand stiffening, then relaxing. Along with his lips. Both your guys’ eyes falling shut as he moved his arms down to wrap around your torso. This was when you felt the metal of his other arm. Making you even more angry and upset. They hurt him so bad, but that didn’t change how you felt about him.
The two of you parting after some time. Huffing out breaths as you both tried to steady your breathing and racing hearts. Even though you were both on cloud nine. “I remember practicing to ask you out in the mirror.” Echo blurted. You looking to him with a shocked expression. “You did?” You asked, and he smiled shyly. Looking down towards the ground. “Yeah.. I did, Fives was tired of hearing me talk about you all day, so he told me to take it like a real one and ask you on a date, so I would talk to myself in the mirror.” He spoke, catching your eyes again.
Your gaze softened on him, and the mention of Fives pained you. You were going to have to tell him about what happened, it was the right thing to do, but it wouldn’t be now. That was a conversation for another time. “Yeah? Well, it paid off in the end.” You hummed, and he tittered. Kissing your forehead with a sigh as you leant agains him. “Yeah, yeah it did.”
