Danny is Cass's brother

So! Back when David Cain was making his "Perfect Weapon", he came across a complication.

Lady Shiva, the woman who was set to give him his Weapon, was pregnant with Twins.

He decided that the Spare was useless to him, and that he needed to devote all his time to the Weapon. He was about to give it up, or maybe just dispose of it, when he decided that it was fine to keep it. A Spare is still a Spare after all, if the Weapon ever failed or died, he could start from scratch.

So, Danny was raised for the first 8 years of his life as a Spare Weapon. He didn't get the same rigorous training that Cass did, as she was the main focus, but he was still trained in the basics. Even a Spare Weapon need maintenance after all.

Then, when he was 8, Cass broke into his Cell Room and ran from the Base with him. She knew that once she escaped, Danny would be the next one to suffer, so she took him as well.

Unfortunately, they got seperated somewhere in Illinois when they got caught by some of David's mercenaries.

Cass kept going, running all across the country before ending up in Gotham at 15 (1 year earlier than normal). There, she got adopted by Bruce Wayne and became the Vigilante, Orphan. She never stopped looking for her brother, but at the very least she knew that he must have escaped David Cain's men. They were focused specifically on her after all.

Cass had enlisted the help of her new Family to search for him. DNA tracking, Facial Recognition, even asking some of their Underworld Contacts for information.

Unfortunately, they had no leads. Until one day when one of their Facial Recognition Programs finally picks up on a Match.

When Danny and Cass got seperated, he ended up in Amity Park. After a few days of Wandering, he was found by Jazz, who then took him to her Parents and convinced them to Adopt him.

When Danny is 14, he is in a Lab Accident that turns him into a Halfa. Using his New Powers and Old Training, Danny manages to keep his new Family and Home safe from the Ghosts coming through the Fentons Portal. He becomes a Hero basically, even though he doesn't really want to attention.

He thanks the Ancients when he finds out about the Media Blackout Amity is Under. He guesses it's not great, but at least he is safe for now.

He continues like this until one day when he is 16, and there is a knock on the Door.

He opens it, and stands shocked when he sees his Sister. Not Jazz, the wonderful woman who took him in and taught him how to speak all those years ago. The one who has acted as his Older Sister for the past 5 years.

His Sister. His Twin. Cass.

After a moment of Shock, they simultaneously go in for a Hug and start to cry a little.

After a few minutes of calming down, Danny introduces his Sister to his bewildered Family. Cass likewise introduces her Adoptive Brother, Dick, who came along to make sure she was safe on the trip.

While Dick and the Fentons get acquainted, Danny takes Cass up to his room to talk.

She explains what happened after they got seperated, what she is doing there, and how she found him.

She tells him that she had originally come to Amity to bring him to her new Family, but she could see the love he held for the Fentons. Also the town needed its Hero.

Danny is shocked that she even found him through the Media Blackout, but not so much at the fact that she nailed his secret identity on sight. She was always observant after all.

After that, Cass and Dick stay in Amity for a few weeks so Danny and Cass can catch up. He introduces her to his friends, shows her around his parents Lab, and even let's her meet some of his kore friendly Rogues.

They are just having a great time.

...

Back in Gotham, Batman just got a very frantic call from Barry.

"Bruce, I just came back from the future!" Shouted Barry through the Comms.

"Explain." Demanded Batman. Barry knew better than to Time Travel without just cause. If he was forced to time travel, it was serious.

"A Villain shows up, an Apocalyptic Level Villain." Barry explains, "He destroys Everything. And I mean Everything. None of us can stop him, he has too many powers to combat. Flight, Invisibility, Intangiblity, Energy Beams, Energy Constructs, Ice Manipulation, Weather Manipulation, Electrokinesis, the list goes on."

"How do we stop him?" Asked Batman. This was dangerous, a Villain with even half of those powers was deadly already.

"It's complicated, but I think he followed me and another Hero back in Time. I think it may be a Closed Time Loop. He is the catalyst for his own creation."

"Is there any way to break the Loop? What is the main driving force to his Creation?" Asks Batman.

"Well, I know his name at least. He goes by Phantom, but his real name is Danny Fenton." Barry explains.

Bruce feels his heart grow cold. He knows both of those names.

Phantom, aka Danny Fenton, aka Daniel Cain.

Cassandra's Brother.

Barry seems to hesitate, before continuing, "...and as far as I know, the catalyst for his creation is the death of Orphan in Amity Park."

Hades as a protector of the city ⚔️🏛

In his book “Description of Greece”, the people of Elis stood out to Pausanias because:

1. They worshipped Hades under his real name, Hades’ name was feared and it was far more common to use alternatives such as Pluto, Klymenos (The renowned) and Chthonic Zeus (Zeus of the underworld) to refer to him

2. They worshipped him as the king of the dead, this in contrast to most cults devoted to Hades who worshipped his agricultural aspects and grouped him with Demeter, Kore or both

3. His temple was located in the city, most temples for agriculture deities were located outside the agora- This further reinforces that they were worshipping his chthonic aspect and not his agricultural one

I want to talk about the myth that the people of Elis used to explain their devotion to Hades. It goes like this: Heracles wanted to attacked Elis and was allied with Athena, Hades exits the underworld, allies himself with Poseidon and Hera, and leads an army to protect Elis. In battle, Heracles strikes him with an arrow and Hades has to go to Olympus to be healed by Apollo. Heracles wins the battle and while the Eleans were rebuilding their city they also constructed a temple for Hades.

It is remarkable how casual the Eleans are with Hades, they call him ‘their friend’ and use his name instead of the more formal options. They also named a mountain after Hades’ former lover, Minthe and had a river called Acheron after one of the rivers in the underworld.

I find this myth so appealing because it’s rare to see a god putting themselves on the frontlines to protect mortals. Hades has nothing to gain from defending Elis, but he does it anyway because they’re his followers. This myth represents Hades not only as a protector of the agora but as a friend of humanity- and the ending where he fails, gets injured and asks for help just makes him so much more like us

Random cotl drabble

“I think I understand now.”

They looked at Shamura with wide, vacant eyes. They figured their blank expression would have been haunting, if the spider had the mental capacity to feel disturbed at the moment. They just continued to weave, pulling at silk and clacking their mandibles.

“You understand little,” they mumbled. “Knock, knock, the Lamb comes to raze…”

Kore sighed, balling their hands into fists. “I understand your decision,” they whispered, their voice breaking. They stared down at their fleece, the red fabric covering their wooly body. They were taller now, taller than most sheep ever grew to be. They hated it.

They were changing. They could not stop it. Clauneck had said as much when they turned to him, desperately seeking answers and help with handling their new form. Narinder hadn’t been much help, as he had taken to godhood on his own. His power was not stolen, like theirs was. He could never understand.

Shamura waited in silence for a moment before speaking, stopping their weaving long enough to look Kore directly in the eye. Their face filled with clarity in that moment, their pupils shrinking to bright red slits.

“Godhood is filled with difficult decisions, little Lamb,” the spider muttered. “Sacrifices must be made.

Part of Kore wanted to scream at Shamura that the slaughter of the sheep was not their sacrifice to make. But they hadn’t come to yell.

They sat down on the ground next to Shamura. The spider didn’t seem to mind getting dirty, and neither did Kore. “I sent a follower to his death today,” Kore admitted quietly. “He did not request it, but faith was low, and I needed the devotion.”

Shamura hummed. “Curved horns,” they whispered. “The rot will spread.”

“I…” Kore blinked, tilting their head up toward the sky. Dark clouds were rolling in. It would rain soon, and they would need to make sure the crops did not flood. The world kept turning, even though a life had been cut short.

They looked back at Shamura, who had stopped weaving. Their eyes were bright and lucid, staring right through Kore with an intensity that was rare with their addled mind.

Kore started again. “If I was in your position,” they said, “centuries ago… and it had been any other species than the sheep…” They balled their fleece up in their hands, digging their fingers into it.

“I would have done the same as you.”

Shamura nodded. “It is difficult to see mortals as anything more than tools,” they admitted. Kore’s ears twitched. Tears pooled in their eyes, threatening to spill over. They scratched their neck.

“I feel so far away,” Kore whispered.

“You will only grow more distant.”

“I know.”

“Then why are you here?”

Silence stretched between the two, broken only by laughter coming from the more populated cult grounds. Shamura’s hut was isolated, more for the cult’s safety than their own comfort.

Kore stared out at their Flock, blinking their tears away. “I’ll never forgive you,” they said under their breath. “But I understand.”

Shamura did not respond for a moment. Then, they sighed. “You are not meant to be here,” they ordered curtly. “Go back to your chambers, sheep.”

Kore looked up into four pairs of foggy, distant eyes, and gritted their teeth. “Very well, My Lord,” they muttered. They stood up, stretching briefly before walking away. They did not look back, but they could hear Shamura whispering as they went.

“Off with their head, the rot will spread, the rot will spread…”

Astolfo and Persephone's myth

This a speculation after I read the article from digital-dhampirs.

One most interesting thing about Astolfo is his cover which presents a pomegranate.

I found strange nobody talked about this because pomegranate has very strong symbolism, and maybe can be a hint of his story.

First it is possible symbol of his family, because the word Granatum is part of scientific name of pomegranate; Punica granatum.

But the connecting between the family and the fruit doesn’t stop here, because in fact the word “garnet” comes from Latin word granatum from seed or grain, most likely are reference to the seeds of pomegranate fruit.

Pomegranate also has strong Christian symbol because represents martyrs’ blood, which it appropriates for hunter family.

If we remove Astolfo from the cover we have a picture in still life, a work of art using also like metaphor, because pomegranate is also a Christina symbol that represents a priest, hard outside soft inside, but because the corruption around and inside the fruit, the author is talking about corrupt of the Church but I don’t think only about the Beast act but the tragedy of family Granatum.

If we look inside the fruit we can see tubes, I thought can be Chloe library but it is too dark and broken and there are not books, but another place with tubes it is Moreu lab.

Moreu got help from Church now and then, because it is impossible there is no one in Church didn’t know about a secret lab near to their headquarters.

But why Moreu’s lab if Astolfo had never met him and he is not with Ronald about the search.

His sister can be n°70, a child who is been rewriting by 13 marks and from a powerful line of hunters, a subject who Doctor would love to have.

Plush it is possible Granatum family bloodline isn’t completely human, anime color in VNC it only used on vampires/dhams, but from anime we know both siblings has got pink hair/eyes, but there is not other humans with anime colors.

If his sister is n°70 , her and Astolfo has got a lot parallels with Demeter hymn, or more knowing as Persephone myth.

This myth is already showed up in series, when Veronica talks with Domi, she sat down on statue of Ratto of Prosepina, that Latin name of Persephone.

I think this myth is connect with Granatum siblings; Astolfo fills as Demeter and his sister as Kore/Persephone.

The myth is often rewriting as love story between Hades and Persephone but it is far away from original myth.

Demeter’s hymn is part of Eleusinian Mysteries. Her hymn is sole protagonist who is mother in grief for losing of her daughter, and only when she played dirty she can have her daughter back.

After the kidnapping of her daughter she ignored her duties for looking for her with help of Hecate.

Hecate is one who proposed to ask help for Helios, because he can see everything.

Helios has pity of her and only one who shared the truth(other Gods ignored her because they were afraid of Zeus).

After Demeter found out Zeus sold out Kore to Hades, she took all humans hostage by famine, and Zeus had to give in.

Hades tricked Persephone to eat pomegranate seeds, so she cannot completely come back to her mother, because she is part of underground.

So season are born because the staying of Persephone.

Like we can see Demeter is sweet and devote person who can be so powerful turning the world outside down if her beloveds is in dangerous. She can be pretty revengeful and mean, she punishes humans, who are innocent, for bring Zeus to his kneels.

Astolfo is a devote, sweet and self denial person, but also a revengeful force.

During the myth we don’t know how Persephone lives in underground, if she is love with Hades ecc.

The beauty of Anciest Greek mythology is a big mess fandom of fanfictions so you can find a lot version of same myth, and pick your favorite.

But what is sure, Kore that means maiden, from innocent girl turned is a fearful and severe goddess who scared also big heroes like Odysseus.

It is interesting if his sister alive, both they share a lot with myth.

Also Ronald and Oliver can fill in some roles in myth. Ronald like Helios, the god of light, the only one who pitied Demeter and told the truth, Oliver as Hecate, a reasonable figure for Demeter/Astolfo.

Like we see in chap 59,they are only one they give a darm about Astolfo, the other hunters are disinterested or mean to him, like Demeter and other gods.

Ronald was only light for the boy, Oliver used to be near to him, so the relationship is pretty strong like for Demeter with Helios and Hecate.

Like I said before Ratto di Prosepina is other connecting with the myth and possible with Granatum siblings.

“Ratto of Prosepina” can be connect with his sister because this statue represents a sexual assault.

Ratto in old Italian mean marriage by kidnapping or rape, between VNC characters despite there are a lot of violation, Misha, Astolfo and sister are victims of sexual abuse. Astolfo acts a lot like SA victim. Maybe he didn’t suffer by the act but he saw rape on his mother, seeing sexual acts against own will still rape.

Astolfo also said to Noè “My sis was only six when they…!”

The sentence has never ended by implication are grave, because in previous meeting he already told about the torture, so he didn’t need to repeat himself, and we know there were already rapists in group, so we can hope for best but be prepare for worst.

So this version Hades is a terrible monster who violates completely body of people and our doctor Moreu fills the role

My guess his sister is in fact n°70 and possible the first artificial vampire in series.

VNC is a very peculiar vampire media, because we don’t have turning vampire plot, the most similar thing to that is the rewriting.

Rewriting sounds a terrible and mysterious transformation which we and VNC’s world didn’t know enough

So artificial turning in a vampire maybe is not so far away, like for Kore Olympic godess turned in Crhonotic one by tricky and egoism of other.

An another point making believe Astolfo’s sister is alive because she should be chekhov's gun

and the fact Astolfo mirrored Vanitas.

A character is not mentioned if they aren’t necessary for plot. Yes, there are characters like ghost but these ones are alive and often are used like joke.

Astolfo’ sister is not really necessary character for writing his background dark, if we remove her now and making a lone boy who befriend the wrong person still work, but Astolfo is the mirror of Vanitas and what’s happened to Vanitas recently? He found out his brother alive.

So his sister would work like character if she show up in future and if she is counterpart of Misha.

It’d ’ be pretty cool; while Misha uses childshness as coping/manipulation mechanism and cannot move on from his past with Luna and Vanitas, in contrast she’d be more mature of her age and she don’t try to reunite with his brother because she know things wouldn’t be the same and in fact are enemies.

Like Kore from an innocent girl became to fearful goddess.

Turning a really strong vampire, not for her choices(in myth is tricked by pomegranate seeds) but she enjoined the power but still deeply miss Astolfo.

She would be the one who take care of dr Moreu;Vanitas and Misha are clearly avoiding him, but killing him is not only for revenge but also for stopping him.

If Astolfo ‘s sister is Kore, there is an other possible connection with myth; they are both sold off by someone support to protect them.

Astolfo hates himself because he thinks he’s responsible of tragedy, but it ‘s not a tragedy but a full shreme, with a mandate church/charlatan.

The vampires attacked when the mansion was more vulnerable, most hunters leave for looking a group of vampires, they weren’t guards, the presence of 5 powerful vampires and the fact the group didn’t leave.

What criminal stay in crime scene? They stayed for days, giving all time for Marco asking for help, why they stay a place frequented by vampire hunters.

In fact they give enough time to Church to organize itself and kill all them.

And if wasn’t Church, senate could send bourreau. We know bourreau are sniper for rogue vampire, and they act very quickly to act; one day for Mina, and Amelia was afraid to have them on her way.

Now a situation of a rogue group of vampires who assault humans is a big problem to Senate, because peace threat, we see they send Jeanne to Chloè for that.

And not mention killing a family of paladin is the same to send a letter” We want war kisses”.

Like when Charlaton attacked Luca using very similar clothes from hunters, if Luca didn't survive, they would be political consequence between Church and Senate, why didn’t this happened with Granatum tragedy?

Why didn’t these vampires leave? Why there wasn’t a diplomatic accident after that.

That group must have protection until its protect let them die.

“Oh we are sorry,but responsible are dead.”

This group looked like they were used a sacrifical lamb.

Onother points makes me believe Church can be responsible of Tragedy, it is missing of Lousiette.

In anime we see the lord using a rapier not Lousiette, but Charles told Astoldo to take it, that it is means Lousiette is the weapon of Garnet throne.

I think the paladin weapon are unique and best pieces cannot be reproduce so only when somebody become a paladin get one.

Ronald didn’t have Durandal when he met Astolfo, so why Lord Granatum who presumably was a paladin didn't have Lousiette, one of stronger weapons of The Church and a weapon that he was used?

A good weapon and ability to use it, can make difference in battle.

Dr Moreu was able to make disappear a trainer, faking his death, and we see clearly there some members a Church help him,, so kidnapping little girl wouldn’t be hard.

If Church is implicate with Granatum tragedy and sister’s missing, we can have a plot line for Astolfo.

Astolfo isn’t loyal to the Church, his drive is hate for vampires, but if found out everything about his family also what doctor Mareu did to his sister and other people, I cannot see Church survive.

Remember Demeter put down on their kneels Olympus, Underground and Earth, when she went ballistic.

But who represent Zeus, my guess is Charles, he is intrigued on Astolfo, but Gano and his blond vice who were asshole, they were showing pity on him saying Charles is scary and should be let the boy die.

I don’t know how Astolfo reached if his sister is alive and vampire, my guess can be deny but I think his love for her would be stronger; Astolfo hates more himself than vampires.

So maybe they can reunite in future but cannot be together because they belong to two different words.

If I’m right I really serious want their reunion being a reproduction of Frederic Leighton-The Return of Persephone (1891).

Astolfo eyes are drawn empty it ‘d be interesting after he reunite with his sis, got reflex back. I like idea also his sis eyes’ make the same.

And or couse they must go together to kick out some ass together.

In worst case she can be the new vessel of queen but remember Demeter's rage...

in life, i sing the names of my Gods—my King and Queen. Zeus and Hera dearest, whom watch over us and offer us comfort from the pain of our threaded lives. in the heavens above where all life has and will come. She will teach me to love deeper than I have ever known and He will shake down my foundations to help me build them stronger. I will reach my hand out to my fellow life, a stranger that waters the plants of a home I do not live in. my life will celebrate the world and the ways my time here will change it.

in death, I will finally breathe the names of my Gods—my new King and Queen eternal. Kore and Plouton whom dwell deeper than i will ever know. below the soil where all life cultivates and will flourish. She will water the tears of my loved ones and He will offer them the riches of grief from which they will build a new life without me. I will return to the soil from where I came, sustenance for the children that come after me. my death will celebrate the earth and the future that will be built atop my bones.

persephone's relationship with demeter is so fascinating. her existence is just an extension of demeter, at first, and their bond is a never ending cycle of life. demeter birthed kore and the personification of spring came forth, but her absence leads to cold and drought to not just her mother's heart but to the whole world : it is a deep connection between the child x the creator and so much more ( ... ) i'll write kore as a defiant force against her mother but doing so in a respectful, wishful, and even adoring way ; questioning her place as only a secondary piece to an olympian instead of her own diety that deserves praise and fear as any other. a being refusing to go against what the fates have written, but wondering if she's meant to be just maiden of spring ( sometime i'll write how that defiance applies to hades as well and how far were her choices considered but i believe it is much more complex considering how the hades and persephone thing is seen, usually, and how many myths and tellings are of that story. i like the homer route and the goose tale, too, that little know of. anyway ). wondering if demeter is correct in keeping her just that, her daughter, and little else. the sensation of being held back. and later on, above all, fighting for power against demeter, as i believe gods of any size are in a constant battle for glory and power despite love and adoration for each other. i believe wholeheartedly that the mother x daughter relantionship is a fascinating aspect of our lives and usually the most definining one be it healthy of not. the same applies here. she's much more devoting to her duties to demeter once she has her own steady foot equal to hera and amphitrite's, loving her as spring does the earth and all its living creatures, but demanding equal respect and consideration despite demeter being her creator.

The Heart of the Ark

Amy’s eyes widened. “How–?”

He pointed at Rouge. “I am most optimal when I’m running on Chaos energy,” he said. “Now farewell.”

Something rumbled through the station, the sound almost deafening, and then a familiar screech tore through the air. Amy’s blood ran cold, and she turned to Knuckles. “We have to find the others!” she said, her voice frantic.

2. Immortality

But the way she looked at Hermes, the warmth and devotion in her gaze… It made his stomach turn, a cold fire burning in his chest.

Hades cleared his throat, and Hermes looked up at him with a smirk. “‘Sup, Hades?” he said. “I was just checkin’ in on Kore.”

Kore’s eyes shifted to Hades, and yet her smile didn’t change. If anything she brightened even further, and the flames in his chest banked a little. Still, Hades turned his gaze to Hermes, narrowing his eyes. “I see,” he said. “I don’t remember giving you permission to enter my abode while I was out.”

3. Boom Dark Gaia fic

Sonic was about to try to follow him when someone called his name behind him. He turned to find a tired beaver with a pair of glasses and a clipboard standing in the doorway. “Your friend is stable,” she said, almost as if she could hardly believe it. “He’s still unconscious but he looks like he’ll pull through.”

Sonic sighed, his shoulders finally relaxing. “Phew,” he said. “For a minute there I thought he was a goner.”

“So did we,” the doctor replied with a frown.

“Could I get your name first?” Shadow asked.

“Oh,” the echidna said, as if he’d been startled. “I am Knuckles, the last of the mighty Echidnas.”

Shadow nodded. “My name is Shadow.

Shadow huffed a laugh, then grimaced as Sonic smirked triumphantly. “Who said you were the coolest hedgehog ever? I thought you were just the most annoying.”

Shadow bit back a laugh as Sonic’s smirk melted into a mildly annoyed expression. “The universe has ordained that I’m the coolest. Although you’re a close second.”

“Gee, thanks,” Shadow deadpanned. “High praise. Now get out.”

Persephone is the goddess of spring growth and Queen of the Underworld alongside with King Haides.

Persephone is also referred as Kore when She acts as the goddess of spring, meaning “the Maiden”.

Persephone is the daughter of Zeus, King of the Gods, and Demeter, the goddess of grain and agriculture. She’s married to King Haides, ruler of the Underworld and God of the Dead, whom She spends time with when She’s not on Olympus with Her mother.*

In both cases, Persephone returns to Her mother on the day of the spring equinox. How you choose to worship the Goddess it’s completely up to you and your beliefs and how it adapts the best in your practice.
