yes, i was technically named after my great grandmother who was named katerina. my mom wanted to name me something along the lines of katerina or kathleen, so she went with katelyn :)

do you have any kids?

no i do not have any kids. kinda undecided if i want them in the future. i think i would really love having like one kid, and continuing the only child trend in my family haha but it's not something i'm set on. definitely not something i'm concerned with right now.

do you use sarcasm a lot?

yes lmao. i use sarcasm all the time, it's a lot of my humor

what's the first thing you notice about people?

i think the first thing i notice is body language. i feel like i'm in tune with other people, and i think i can easily sense other people's true emotions, and a lot of that comes out in body language, so i typically look to that first

what's your eye color?

they are blue-green!

scary movies or happy endings?

definitely happy endings, i cannot handle scary movies. you will have to cuddle and hold me through the entire movie if you want me to watch anything scary.

i was born in the u.s., and for close moots that know what state i live in, i was born and raised here :)

writing, reading books, listening to music, daydreaming lmao, hiking, basketball, soccer, board games, making bracelets and necklaces, being a raging homosexual.

i have one dog! he's a sweet old chocolate lab.

i played soccer from like when i came out of the womb til freshman year of high school i think. and then i played basketball from third grade and through high school, and i still play basketball just not competitively.

i thought i was 5'6 but i measured myself again and i'm actually 5'7!

favorite subject in school?

definitely math. i'm a huge math nerd

dream job?

some sort of mathematician or engineer! i've loved math all my life, and i'm very good at it, so it's something that i really want to go into. or being an engineer, i just love problem solving. but i am also interest in science and forensics as well, and another career path i'm considering is forensic botany or forensic anthropology.

before i share something from myself please understand i absolutely don't mean to make it about me but hope to share my experience that might give you hope! its gonna sound like bragging but please bear with me

so, when i got together with my partner (now ex), it was a few years after they had gotten out of a very toxic relationship (like the worse you can imagine, emotional manipulation, coercion and what not) so she was very hesitant to start a new relationship with me even though we knew we liked each other! i had been dealing with depression stuff as well because of my toxic household & friendships. but we found courage and decided to give it a shot! and that was the best 2 years of my life, and hers as well. i know for a fact. we had the cute innocent puppy love people dream about, very very tinngun/patpran and what not, so much so that i can see the scenes of them and think wait we did that too! it felt like a movie literally, sometimes it felt so fantasy like that it felt fake. we didn't have a single fight. not one. we trusted and loved each other so much so unconditionally and we could establish it because of near perfect communication and empathy. we broke up for reasons out of our control but it was amicable and we're still the very best of friends.

anyways, my point is that i know and i hope that you get the cute innocent puppy love with flowers and rainbows! because if it could happen for us, two people who were royally fucked up and in even worse environment, it can happen for everyone. we managed to create a safe sustainable environment for just the two of us where we could feel like it was our first love all over again, and i know you will too 💕💕💕💕
