Someone should make a renegades version of “Stars Above”, except they should call it “Skies Above”.

Just remembered that the first (not for Halloween) cosplay I ever did was of human underfell sans. It was really bad, mostly because I didn't have a binder and was wearing a fake beard and a fur-lined leather jacket in july
My dad made me go into a restaurant by myself to pick up our food (nightmare scenario) because he was mad at me for dressing up as a guy + then I went to the local small-town Comic Con and they called security on me because I looked "dangerous"
Anyway, teenage me, don't worry 👍 we're still bad at cosplay and can't grow a beard, but we've got incredible sideburns now and we're literally about to get top surgery and Dad's paying for it 😎

“Simon put a bid down for a latticework pie, though Hugh was the pie lover and Simon definitely would have preferred the chocolate cake beside it.”
-Marrissa Meyer(Archenemies)
This is always on my mind. I love little moments like these in books. Adorable

Renegades and Arch-Enemies - Marrissa Meyer
Renegades by Marissa Meyer My rating: 5 of 5 stars I enjoyed this book a lot. Though it was a bit slow at catching me, once it got me, I really struggled to put it down. It was full of twists and turns, and though at first the romance annoyed me, in time it came into its own and became endearing. The last 100 pages threw so much at me at once, and I loved it. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good story. Even if you aren't much of a superhero fan (like myself), this book is still a fantastic ride. I am very excited to begin the sequel.
Archenemies by Marissa Meyer My rating: 4 of 5 stars I enjoyed this book just as much as the first. It is a stunning sequel and continues the story beautifully. Each character is complex and well written; even down to the smaller background characters, no one is black or white; they are all shades of grey. The last few chapters were a gorgeous whirlwind, and I am very excited to finish this series.

When we read do we take those books and warp them to fit for our reality?
Do we take different part of authors such as Stephanie Meyers, F Scot Fitzgerald, Rick Riordan, Marrissa Meyer, etc and make them fit ourselves? Taking their writing and changing ourselves to for their perspective?
I would like to believe I have a little bit of every author I’ve ever read in my soul somewhere.

Incorrect Renegades P.2
Like, the sheer fact that Ruby and Oscar act as oblivious to each other’s feelings is rivaling Ladybug and Cat Noir’s is probably infuriating for Adrian. Like, him desperately trying, and somehow getting Nova into this to, pushing them together through the most obvious situations. I could see them waiting for them to fall asleep on stakeouts and then shifting them together so when they wake up it’s like “Well, how did that happen?!”

Okay listen Renegades and TLC are alternate timelines of the same universe in TLC Ace Anarchy never succeeded in overthrowing the government and when the opportunity arose to move to the moon prodigies went in droves without letting people know they were prodigies. Over time they let their powers show and blamed it on the moon making them evolve, and their powers started to merge into a basic skill set over time rather than being so all over the place in terms of who can do what

Once Upon a Time Book Rec 2.0
requested by @shadowtearling and @anassarhenisch
(fun story, this was one of the first book recs I ever made, way before my blog became anywhere near popular. It’s been quite a while, so I’ve expanded it) (Hope you like the format!!)
Kill Me Softly by Sarah Cross- m/f, sleeping beauty au, bluebeard au, fairy tale crossover, modern day setting, low key love triangle, fairy tales are blessings/curses, gory and dark themes, not explicit gore, ya fic
Sisters Grimm by Micheal Buckley- all fairy tales are real, small town setting, ocs as main characters, puck is main character and a tween, mysteries, multiple installments, kids’ lit, no real romance until the end, very important sister relationship
The Frog Princess by E. D. Baker- m/f, frog prince au, high fantasy setting, kids’ lit, multiple installments, cute romance, fun magic
The Stepsister Scheme by Jim C. Hines- m/f, f/f, cinderella, snow white, sleeping beauty, low fantasy/historical setting, post fairy tale setting, snow white is a witch, sleeping beauty is gay and martial artist, adult fic
The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer- m/f (multiple), cinderella, red riding hood, rapunzel, snow white, princess team up, dystopian setting, aliens and cyborgs, ya fic
Rapunzel’s Revenge by Shannon Hale- m/f, rapunzel, jack from jack and the giant beanstalk, wild west fantasy au, her hair is a weapon, graphic novel format, kids’ lit
Beastly by Alex Flynn- m/f, beauty and the beast, modern day au, beast pov, beauty isn’t beautiful, better than the dumbass movie, personal redemption arc
The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor- the “true story” of Alice in Wonderland, Alice is Alyss, princess of Wonderland, gets sent to the “real world”, like dark and edgy retelling, but for kids, imagination is magic, low key steampunk setting
Bonus: Grim by Christine Johnson- A collection of short stories, some in modern day, some are not. (YA)
