Darius’s childhood started with what was supposed to be hope. They adored their home and the close knit community they were born into on the outskirts of the city. It had such potential.

Unfortunately for them, as they grew and began to figure themselves out, questioning as they reached their teens, their parents became uninterested. All they seemed to care about was how they were doing in class or what time they’d be home from their friend’s house. As for what was going on in Darius’s head or how they were really feeling inside, that didn’t matter.

It was easy for them to begin to feel abandoned, like they had no one to turn to. In the end they bonded with a teacher at their school, would hide out in their classroom at lunch times and basically avoid everyone else.

They chose college over A levels, spent two years on the stage studying performing arts. In the end it wouldn’t actually go anywhere, but they had the time of their life, spent weekends heading down to London and watching shows, making a bunch of new friends and living life to its fullest... finally.

That was what prompted the move to the big city in the end. It was an easy decision to make and anything to get away from the family that had been so keen to disown them. 

They moved in with a group of theatre friends and they spent most of their evenings working backstage at various locations around the city. They weren’t entirely sure if it was what they wanted to do with their life, but it worked for now and they were happy, an entirely odd sensation after so many years spent miserable back in Birmingham.

Eventually they found themselves in Notting Hill, completely drawn in by the colourful streets, by the carnival, by everything it had to offer.

The job as a bellhop at the Ritz kind of fell into their lap. It works for now, even if they spend multiple days a week doing doubles —- the tips make it worth it, the rich and famous handing over £50 notes after Darius drops their bags off at their door. What could be bad?

in  very  few  words,  this  person  is  jack’s  rock,  her  fiercest  protector.  but  she  is  also  his.  they  met  at  st.  clare  orphanage  when  jack  was  barely  four  and  he  arrived  there  ( the  reasons  for  this  and  his  whole  backstory  are  totally  utp,  the  only  headcanon  i  have  about  his  bg  is  that  he  saw  a  lot  before  arriving  at  the  orphanage  so  he  was  a  very  sulking,  prone  to  violence  kid ).  she  felt  an  instant  pull  toward  him,  was  always  nagging  him  since  she  found  him  oh,  so  very  cool  ( we  can  discuss  why )  and  wanted  him  to  be  her  friend  —  because  that’s  jack.  however,  he  was  constantly  annoyed  by  her,  she  had  too  much  energy,  was  too  chatty,  too  oblivious,  but  she  hardly  realized  how  much  of  a  nuisance  she  was  to  him.  i  headcanon  it  took  him  around  a  year  to  soften  ( or  for  her  to  win  him  over ),  but  since  then,  since  that  shift  in  their  relationship,  keeping  her  safe  and  teaching  her  how  to  survive  in  this  world,  a  world  he  knew  very  well  what  was  capable  of,  became  his  priorities.  once  jack  was  old  enough  ( around  her  twelves ),  those  priorities  became  mutual.  they  have  survived  everything  together,  since  before  the  outbreak,  so  when  it  hit  they  barely  blinked.  both  of  them  are  the  kind  of  people  who  thrive  in  this  reality  because  all  they’ve  been  doing  is  what  everyone  has  to  do  now:  stay  safe,  stay  alive.

Your Idea of the Character: (TW: Car accident, death)

The Scooby Doo Crew are mid-twenties-year-olds who have known each other since they were teens, some maybe longer. 

They might not seem like a usual group of friends, but they all found a way to connect with each other. They would look into haunted places, try and solve crimes, and seek answers to the unexplained--or expose corruptness.

When Vanguard moved into Northpass, the Scooby Crew were among the protesters that didn’t want the lab in town and were suspicious when their petition was denied.

In January of 2020, one of the Scooby-Doo Crew accompanied Nancy when she went to confront Vanguard and perished in the car accident. Neither remember how they died, but the rest of the crew certainly does. Taken by Rosemary.

Potential Plans & Headcanons:

After people started getting sick, Nancy’s job asked her to look into the pharmaceutical company and see what kind of story was there. She began snooping around and learned through an anonymous tip that the water company is the key. The investigation led to her breaking into the water company, and stealing a copy of their water testing results. Nancy does not remember where she hid this crucial piece of evidence, so she might need her close friends to help her retrace her steps.

Along with another member of the Scooby Crew (Rosemary Korbinian), Nancy decides to confront Vanguard with the evidence and they deny her claims. Neither would make it home; they would die in a car accident. Two years passed before Nancy opened her eyes again and began to remember her name. She didn’t immediately remember how or why she died, or that she’s the reason one of her friends died that night, too.

Basically, I’m looking for the rest of the Scooby Doo Crew. We can figure out what sort of stuff they got involved in more detail in a group chat or something when more get taken!! I’m also game for weaving in crushes on one another, dating, exes, etc. as well but figured that might be best left up to group discussion and character chemistry! I had a thought that perhaps the friend that went with Nancy had some sort of feelings for her, but totally doesn’t have to!

I just thought it would also be fun to explore the dynamic of friends grieving over the friends they lost only to get them back alongside the dynamic of those two coming back to life again and getting a second chance. Nancy is certainly going to feel like it’s her fault that one of them died along with her even though it was an accident.

au where mena massoud works in the same office building as you and is kind of crushing hard on you in the cutest way possible. 

you two first met on a coffee run for the floor, seeing as no one else could be bothered going to pick up the long list of orders from the starbucks down the road.

he laughed a little too hard at your jokes but it was cute regardless. 

working at opposite ends of the same floor; but always seeing him walking around your work area, ‘it’s close to the printer.’ is his default excuse. 

starts talking to you before and after work, walking with you to the subway.

leaves sticky notes on your monitor with new vegan recipes he thinks you’d like.

recipes graduated to dumb drawings then to notes such as ‘those pants really suit you : )’ and ‘how does your hair not fall apart by the end of the day? magic?’

mena always coming to you first with admin issues. ‘i know i could ask hr or the finance team but i don’t know mrs.emmington like i know you.’

one time mena directed a meeting and wore a jacket over his button up for the first time ever and you had an extremely hard time trying to concentrate. you had to ask for his meeting minutes afterwards. for the notes; of course.

he knows your coffee order off by heart and always buys you your coffee if he gets into the office earlier than you and he never forgets to ask if you want a refill.

he times his lunch break to match up with your own, constantly peeking over his cubicle to see if you’ve left yet or not.

‘omg Y/N drop everything you’re doing, there’s a therapy dog walking around the office RIGHT NOW we need to go see it before it leaves.’  

he gets visibly excited when its you who needs help from him, putting everything aside to help you. 

gives you pep talks and comforts you before you have meetings with the boss.

tells you the worst jokes just to see your annoyed yet cute reaction. 

once you both had to work overtime and to blow off steam you both just ended up having a paper ball fight, running like kids around the office. 

for your birthday he bought a large bouquet and balloons and covered your desk in sticky notes with different drawings and dumb sayings. the co-worker who worked next to you wasn’t too impressed but you were. 

you end up being the one asking him on an official date cause after six months he was still too nervous to ever ask you out anywhere.

A/N: Yet another Naomi with Mena x reader fic. This kind of takes a while to get to the point. I’m having trouble coming up with ways for Nay to tease Mena so my jokes aren't the best. I apologize, but let me know what you guys think!!

“Can you believe we’ve kept this a secret for so long?,” Mena said, rhetorically. You and him were currently abroad doing press for ‘Aladdin’ and you were hanging out in his hotel room. You were laying on the bed and had your head rested on his chest as the tv played. “I know right?,” you replied, laughing. “Like you would at least think that Nay would have found out by now,”you told your boyfriend. You two had been dating ever since filming of ‘Aladdin’ wrapped and you asked Mena for his number. You found him attractive and he thought the same. Over the next couple weeks, after the film wrapped, you two fell in love with each other’s personalities and started dating. Now, two years later, you both were just as in love as you were back then. “Yeah. We’re both good friends with her. You think she would have suspected something,” Mena replied. “What about Will?,”he added. “I think he thinks we’re just close friends. Like how you and Naomi are very close, but you’re just friends,”you told him. “Oh, yeah. That makes sense,” he replied. “If only they knew how close we actually are..,” he said, leaning down to kiss your lips. He attached his lips to yours and turned to where he could be on top of you. He moved his lips down to your chin and then your neck. “Slow....down......Mena. We have a long day tomorrow,” you said, pushing him off just a little. “Do you really want me to?,”he said as he placed kisses all around your neck. “No, but we both have to head to bed,” you said, trying not to moan. This made Mena stop what he was doing and look at you. “Why don't you just sleep here?,” he asked. “You know we can't risk that. I can't be seen coming out of your room early tomorrow,” you told him. He got off of you and laid next to you. “We never get to have any fun,” he pouted. You got off the bed and started getting your things together. “We will, babe. Just wait until press is over. You know how time consuming it is,” you reassured him. “Fine...,” he whined. You walked over to his side of the bed and placed a kiss on his cheek. “Goodnight, my love,” you told him. “Goodnight, princess,” he replied. You closed the door behind you and headed back to your own room.

The next day, you were doing press interviews with Mena, Will, and Naomi. After a tiring day, Will surprised you three with a fancy dinner with him and his family. You sat in between Mena and one of Will’s kids. While Will was discussing with Naomi on how he proposed to his wife, Jada, Mena thought this was the perfect time to mess with you. He placed his left hand on your right thigh, under your dress, and you gave him a stern look. What was he doing? He slowly moved his hand down to your inner thigh, making the area between your thighs heat up. You took a deep breath and your eyes widened. “Y/n, you ok over there?,” Will interrupted his story to ask. “Oh, I’m fine. The food is just really good here,” you said, taking a bite of your dinner. Will smiled and continued his story. Meanwhile, Mena’s hand moved closer to your inner region. You held back a moan and gripped the table with your hand. You wanted Mena and you wanted him now. “Is your food that good, y/n?,”Mena asked. You now wanted to kill him. “It’s good.. Mena. Thanks for asking,” you replied slowly. As his fingers reached your panties, you stood up from your chair and pulled down your dress. “If you all will excuse me, I have to use the restroom,” you said and rushed off to the restroom. Naomi leaned over to Mena. “I hope she’s okay,” she whispered in his ear. “I think she’s fine. It’s probably just something she ate,” he reassured his friend while trying not to smile. His phone chimed and he noticed a text from you. WOMENS BATHROOM FOURTH STALL NOW!! Mena waited a minute and then stood up from his chair. “I have a call from my mom. I’ll be right back,” he said, holding up his phone. He made his way toward the exit and then checked if anybody was looking and made his way to the restrooms. He checked both ways before entering the women’s restroom. The coast was clear. He opened the door and walked to the fourth stall. As he opened the door, he was pulled in the stall quickly by you. You pushed him against the wall and started undoing his button up shirt. “You can't just do that in front of everyone and think you can get away with it,” you breathed out. “It worked didn't it?,” he said, smugly. “Oh, shut up,” you said as you took his shirt off and planted your lips on his. He pushed you to the other side of the stall and starting unzipping the back of your dress as he kissed around your clavicle. “Meens......I need you,” you moaned out. He successfully unzipped your dress and pulled it down. You stepped out of it and reached for his belt. Your foreheads touched and he breathed out “You're so beautiful.” You unbuttoned his pants and pulled them down, along with his underwear. He ripped off your panties and immediately stuck his length in your slit. He pushed you even harder into the wall as you moaned and he planted kisses all around your neck and under your chin. Your hands scratched his bare back as your lips found his again. Your bodies pressed into each other as your lips did. He pushed harder into you and you went to moan, but he covered your mouth. “Shhhh..be careful, my love,” he whispered in your ear. You were placing kisses all over Mena’s chest when you heard a familiar voice call out to you. You immediately stood up and recognized the voice. Naomi. You pulled up your dress and motioned for Mena to get dressed. “Hey, y/n. You all right in there, lovely?,” Naomi asked. “I’m good, Nay. Food didn't agree with me,” you said as a half naked Mena stepped onto the toilet seat so Naomi wouldn't notice two sets of feet. As he went to go step his other foot on the seat, he slipped and his head slammed into the wall. “Ow!,” he exclaimed. You covered his mouth this time. “Y/n! Are you ok?! I’m coming in,” Naomi exclaimed. “No! You don't hav-, ”you started, but Naomi had already opened the stall door. “To...,” you continued. “Oh my gosh,” she said and then immediately closed the door. You zipped up your dress and exited the stall. “Nay... say something. Anything,” you told her. “That..that was...a..lack of clothes,” Naomi said, shocked. Mena came out of the stall. “Naomi, this has been a thing for years. Not..not the bathroom thing, but me and y/n. We’re dating,”Mena told her. Naomi turned around to face him. “Meens...you’re in whites. I can't take you seriously right now,” she said, covering her eyes. “Oh..oh right! Sorry!,” he said, heading back into the stall. “Are you mad?,” you asked. “Why would I be?! My best mates are dating!! I’m just shocked is all,” she replied. You sighed in relief. “This has been going on for two years? I can't believe I didn't figure it out sooner!!,” she exclaimed. “Mena and y/n sitting in a tree k i s s i n g..,” Naomi started singing. “Get it all out now please,” Mena said as he exited the stall. “Mena, dear Mena....,” Naomi started as she walked over to him. “I never want to see you in your undies ever again,” she told him. “You’re the one that walked in on us!!,” he defended. “I thought y/n was hurt! As you all walked out, Naomi started singing again, this time in a low tone. “Prince Ali, fabulous he, Ali Ababwa, show some respect oh wait check he has y/n down on her knees... so-” Mena and you stood front of her. “Naomi, please tell anyone what you saw. We don't want anyone to know just yet,” you told her. “I know. I’m just pulling your leg. You can trust me,” she told you. you've worked with tons of singers and even worked on soundtracks for movies and tv

And when you go on Ellen to promote your new ep, things take a bit of a turn

She asks the usual questions like how long did it take?, whats your favourite song? What are planning next?

And you answer her easily

But the she decides to play a game

Basiclly you have to choose between 2 celebrites to date. The one you knock out gets replaced and it keeps going until one of them ends up being your "soulmate" (this is a real game she plays i just couldnt remember the name. But i think demi lovato did it so you can check it out)

So as you play you have to choose between some of your favourite celebs, people who you've been crushing on for years

But then Menas face comes up, and you knew there was not a single chance for anybody else

You choose him and as the game keeps going his face is a constant

Ellen catches on and decides that Mena is your winner

Which typically prompts her to ask the question

"Is he your biggest celebrity crush?"

"Ahhh..... weeellllll. I guess so"

The crowd goes nuts

So does Ellen

"Ohhhh. So disneys newest prince charming has charmed your heart i see..."

Can you blame me! Look at that smile, and his eyes, and oml his dimples i mean, who isnt head over heels for him?"

This sends the crowd into even more of a frenzy

Nidal has an adventurer’s heart, just like his mother and the will of a survivor, much like his father. there isn’t anything that he can’t put a positive spin on, something that Nidal is quite proud of. 

Much like his mother had Raja to comfort her, Nidal also has a pet, though his is more of the less-aggressive nature, though still very much feline. Fara is his black cat who seems to want to be by Nidal’s side every second of every day. With social season coming around, he has hardly been home and this has caused his cat great anguish. 

Knowing that he will become sultan sometimes feels like a burden, as he wants to do right by the people. he just doesn’t really know how and there’s only so much that his mother can teach him about ruling. 

When he isn’t following his mother around, listening to everything that she has to say and trying to take in every lesson that she’s willing to give him, Nidal likes to spend his free time painting. it isn’t anything that he’ll make a career out of - he knows this - but it is something to keep his hands busy and empty his mind at the end of the day. besides, he’s gotten quite good at it and it’s nice to see the fruits of his labor on canvas at the end of every project.

So in my fandom career, one of the first stages of commitment to a ship is dedicating a music playlist to them. As you may have guessed, Sukka is no exception.

So the graphics I vision for this song are sorta based around Book 3 Sukka. I headcanon that Sokka would look up to Yue for reassurance when feeling lost, such as when Suki was imprisoned and he had no idea where she was. Also, post-Book 3 when they are in their long distance relationship, I know they would miss each other like crazy. Something I see comforting them is the fact that they see the same moon.

Now we all know Suki is our resident independent- badass- queen who doesn't need anyone to look out for her, especially a man. I thought that this song was a good parallel to when she was fed up with Sokka's sexist bs in "The Warriors of Kyoshi". Like I can imagine her having to hear this from so many people around her growing up, and to hear it from someone she showed interest in must be disappointing. Not a super happy rec, but a necessary one nonetheless.

So oddly enough, I actually find enjoyment in 'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series'. But in the scene, the main couple sang this to each other when they couldn't be together for Valentine's day, and when I first heard it, my head immediately went to Sokka and Suki. Seeing that they had a long distance relationship for a decent amount of time and have many individual responsibilities, they are bound to miss some holidays and events. But even through that, they know they are the most important parts of each others lives.

I really love this song for them because after losing Yue, Sokka came to appreciate time, and didn't want to waste a moment with Suki. He realized that death can be sudden and real, which was why he was so protective of Suki during 'The Serpent's Pass'.

I thought this song fit really well, and this lyric in particular reminds me of the failed escape attempt in 'The Boiling Rock Pt. 1'. Suki was willing to give up the concept of freedom if it meant staying to wait for Hakoda with Sokka.

So I really love this song and feel that it could be used for literally any atla ship or even atla as a whole, due to the theme and aesthetic (might mess around and make an edit😏). One of my favorite things about Sukka is how supportive they are of each other, and how easily they make each other happy. They've seen each other at low points, they've been on death row, but through that they were still there cheering each other on.

Lucky ~ Jason Mraz & Colbie Caillat

I think this pretty much sums up their time together during 'The Serpent's Pass'. They were apart for so long-and with the war, had no reason to really believe they'd see each other again. But then by chance they were brought together again, revealed their feelings, only to have to split up again. But through that, they didn't let the distance bother them, as they stayed committed to each other.

Your Idea of the Character:

The general idea is that this is a Vanguard employee is very much in charge of keeping a careful eye on Cordelia's brother, Beck. Think of that fun little FBI agent joke- except it's honestly kind of real. Somehow while surveilling Beck, him and Cordelia got in contact and one thing has led to another and they're in a relationship.

Sometimes life laughs you in the face and you have to adapt accordingly, and that's kind of  hilarious in it's own way. I'm unsure if he has told Cordi what he actually does for Vanguard but she does know he works for Vanguard on some kind of security basis and that's about it. It's entirely up to you if you think he would've told her about it and if that is something they're trying to figure out and overcome. (Bonus points if he was somehow a bit of a anchor to her absolute everywhere-personality. Less likely to do impulse choices, her anchor.)

Potential Plans & Headcanons:

The general thought is just for there to be a lot of conflict (both funny and actually sad/rough) between Cordi, her fiancé and her brother. At some point Beck will be finding out his sisters boyfriend works for Vanguard and if he figures out the guy is watching him- well that's a hurdle for then.

I imagine they're a pretty stable relationship though, like- fully enamored  in each other and all of that true love stuff that people write about in romcoms kinda situation. I can see them being very ready to have a life together even if Cordi is super unable to keep a stable job and the guy working for Vanguard (be it because he wants to or because he has to).

I want that fluffy angsty couple that overcomes hurdles because they love each other even if it makes NO sense that they're  together.
