🎮Okay so I really feel like Gojo is in love with the mundane, mostly because his own life is so far removed from it. So, Gojo actually plays a pretty calm game.

🎮Or, he tries to at least.

🎮He has a thousand founders for generation challenges he will never complete, a million builds that he made the shell of and never went back too, and his world is riddled with homeless sims he made for rags to riches stories.

🎮Really, he always goes back to his favorite sim- is super sim that me made on accident. A random sim that he got so attached to he turned aging off so they wouldn't die, and that he tends to and frets over like a favored pet.

🎮He definitely has all the DLC and is a little bit ashamed of it. He even has DLC that he's never touched- like horse ranch. Why does he have horse ranch? He hates horses (Because how DARE An animal of that size be that skiddish and breakable) so why does he own HORSE RANCH?!

🎮So that he still owns all the DLC, that's why. It as just a much a mark or pride as it is shame for him.

🎮He probably has a few script mods here and there, like the cuddling mod or the real estate mod, but for the most part his modding starts and ends with CC. He LOVES CC, mostly cause the Sims team (in his humble opinion) makes shit clothes. All maxis match.

🎮He gets on telling himself he's only going to play for an hour tops at 6 pm and OOPS the sun is up. He swears maxis puts speed in this game.

Suguru Geto

🎮the opposite of Gojo- this man is a menace.

🎮Suguru's got a lot of built up rage he's repressing, and 100% takes it out on his digital dolls. If you're a sim and you displease him- straight to the fenced in pool.

🎮He has the extreme violence and life tragedies mods installed. You know why.

🎮Had his sim marry into the goth family just to murder them and take everything they had. You know- what Don Lothario failed to do.

🎮Oh, that's another thing: He has beef with these pixels.

🎮Like, yes- he knows it's unreasonable and a little childish...But if he ever ever catches Nancy Landgrab on the streets it is ON. SIGHT.

🎮He will just let his sims wreak whatever havoc they see fit. like "Oh, you want to cheat on your husband with the pizza delivery guy when your husband is literally standing right there? Who am I to stand in the way of feminism."

🎮He will also forget sims. Like, he'll set a sim up to do something, go play with a different sim in the house, and it will be like a real word fifteen minuets (keep in mind, a in game day is only 24 minuets) before he realizes the mom has been missing because she's been practicing violin with no end in sight and is about to piss herself. oops.

🎮He has a few of the DLC that interest him, like city living and snowy escape. He has all the occult packs but his favorite is Realm of Magic....duh. He only plays sorcerers and always goes down the chaos magic tree. You know why.

Nanami Kento

🎮Nanami is here to build.

🎮Nanami gets on the sims to build he dream homes and experiment with different layouts and such that he might like. And he's actually gotten really good at it.

🎮Like some of his builds are in the maxis showcase and he's quite popular on the gallery

🎮What determines if he buys any sort of DLC is if he likes the build buy items or not. and as such, most of his mods are also for build buy

🎮He does play a little bit of the actual game too though, but he tends to get board of it pretty quick. He's tried to make evil sims of dubious moral character and he just can not.

🎮Like, when Suguru tells him about his game play he just looks on in horror. What do you mean your sims has five secret families and an artist slave, do you not feel horrible? Have you no shame?

🎮I think Island Living is his favorite pack because he likes Sulani so much. He thinks it's a pretty place for a home. And mermaids are neat- he guesses.

🎮He also likes Werewolves cause Celene is his favorite townie. He started his first ever generation challenge with her and she's had a special place in his heart cause of it

🎮His sim has an artist sim painting locked in the basement that sells painting for the main sim to get money. His sim has romanced and ruined half the town and physically fought the rest.

🎮He genuinely plays to see how much chaos he can cause, and has mods to help him do it. extreme violence, life tragedy, fuck it- wicked whims he wants to see the world burn.

🎮He has all the DLC but that's because he pirated it- which is very cool and sexy of him.

🎮Have you ever seen a kid play with their barbies? The ones that are maybe a lil traumatized and have their dolls going through some of the most insane shit? Kidnapping, drug abuse, domestic violence, murder!

🎮Thats how Sukuna plays sims. You walk in and the house he's playin in is on fire and he's just contently watching as he sips his tea

🎮He doesn't play very often, but when he does he binges it. He gets on for hours at a time, then he doesn't touch it for months

🎮I will say, he does have a special place in his heart for Gregg. A monster that the town fears and hates who attacks on sight? That guy gets it.

🎮Choso has so many successful generations challenges under his belt it's not even funny. He's never played a rags to riches game he didn't knock out of the park.

🎮He honestly gets pretty attached to his sims, which is natural all things considered, and is genuinely a little bummed when they die. Oh well, onto the next.

🎮He's pretty bad at naming his sims, so he just lets random take the wheel. Or he lets one of his brothers name them. That's how he got his favorite sim: Giznap Lee Macintosh Bartholomew the Third.

🎮He also has all of the DLC but that's because, like Sukuna, he pirated it. Which is very cool and sexy of him.

🎮As far as mods go- he's never really felt the need to get any of them other than CC. Basemental Drugs maybe- but for the most part he's not super into script mods.

🎮His favorite townie is Bella Goth, but that's because he's been playing this game since Sims 2 and has been following her lore. Oh, you didn't know the sims had lore? It does and it's fucking insane. Bella goth caused Sims 4 to break off into an alternate timeline from the main games- no I'm not kidding

So, I own a discord server based on an RPF ship. It’s two streamers who are married in real life and also roleplay together as a married couple. There wasn’t a lot of content for them so I made a discord as a place to discuss AUS, share fics and have some fun

Discord gets a decent amount of people, about twenty. I prefer to keep it open, you can just come in without having to have a certain role or anything. Eventually, one of the streamer’s mods joins and they seem pretty chill

Now the server much had a tumblr Esque vibe when it came to jokes which was assuming the streamers would never see it. There was one member (I’ll call them Emily) who had a bit of a dirty sense of humor with their jokes basically being the equivalent of calling one of the streamers a DILF and drawing fanart that could be seen as slightly suggestive but even then it wasn’t like porn or anything. This server was also very obscure with a small amount of members and nothing in it was meant to be seen by the streamers.

Then a new person joined who I’ll call Ally. Ally joined and didn’t make an intro or talk at all but I don’t really care. Ally is on the server for at least five hours.

Then the mod makes a fucking call out post in the genral channel to the entire server saying that Emily’s jokes, told in a server with a grand total of twenty people, broke the streamers boundaries and that Emily’s fanart also broke boundaries. Then the mod fucking left before anyone had a chance to really respond.

As it turned out the mod had invited Ally over to answer questions about the call out because they were too much of a chicken to stay and explain things themselves. Also, these jokes went on for months plus those extra five hours Emily was on the server. They had all the time in the world to talk to anyone privately about their concerns.

I was never told privately that there might be a problem. Emily was never talked to privately that there might be a problem. Instead the mod just dropped a Twitter worthy call out post, abused their authority as a mod to make Emily feel terrible and didn’t even have the balls to face the server themselves after making this call out post instead using Ally as a proxy.

They planned a call out instead of talking to anyone privately like a mature person would do.

It was a mess, a total mess. People started leaving and Emily felt so guilty that they had ruined the server. I had to make some rules (that I don’t agree with tbh) about certain jokes being banned mainly so that everyone would stop freaking out. Emily also wound up getting banned from these streamers chats based on this private petty discord server drama where neither streamer even knew what was in it.

I guess I’m telling you all of this because I feel I handled the situation poorly. What I should’ve done was told Ally that the mod had to come and speak for themselves and then banned Ally from the server. That or I should’ve deleted the call out post entirely and told everyone to ignore it

But I didn’t because I got scared and I panicked. This was my first time running into this sort of thing as the owner and only mod and as a result of this I wound up not thinking things through and acting impulsively and being too much of a pushover.

I feel bad because I didn’t stand up for Emily, who I consider a friend

I have apologized to Emily, who thankfully didn’t leave, and after the dust settled the members who hadn’t left the server basically agreed the call out post was very fucking stupid. I also locked down the server and now anyone who wants to join has to make an intro. The server is getting some energy back after it almost died due to that drama.

I guess I’m telling you all of this because it’s a neat story and my first foray into being at the center of discord drama. It still eats me up at times how I handled it but at least no friendships were ruined because of it. My main concern is how many other people has that mod gotten unfairly banned from streamers chats.

Plus I think its a good story

I would have made a public statement about how the streamers' mod has a certain duty above that of just any fan, and that duty was to make the fandom a nice place.

I would say, both in the discord and outside of it, that they failed hard and should be ashamed of themselves. I would publicly put out the word that they invaded private space to cause a public ruckus and advise all other fandom discords to ban them preemptively.

They want to act like a server-raiding troll? Treat them as one.

I'll admit: I'd always been a little skeptical about the rumors regarding Lyn-Z/Lindsey Way, thinking that they were exaggerated by jealous fangirls and bitter former friends--that is, until I learned about the incident regarding a victim who was only 16-years-old when she experienced harassment. Especially when more than one person has backed this up; I doubt it was one person spreading different messages over the Internet. Jessicka Addams herself even admitted to contributing to this!

Someone on the My Chemical Romance subreddit, who claims to be the victim's longtime friend, shared the whole story. If anything, the comment only strengthened the theory that Lyn-Z was the one behind the NoWayMikeyWay blog, a similar debacle that clearly caused Mikey and his then-girlfriend a lot of distress. They definitely have a point with Lyn-Z's insecurity--her having sent the victim an E-mail saying, "If me and Gerard were dangling off a cliff, I know who you would save"--as I recall, on Twitter, the victim believing that Lyn-Z started to dislike her over what Chantal Claret told her about her crush on Gerard, and believed her, rather than acting like a civil adult and talking to the teenager about her feelings for a grown and married man.

I corresponded with this Reddit user, who believes that Lyn-Z and Chantal were the mods of NoWayMikeyWay, as a member of the band divorcing his wife for a fan was apparently Lyn-Z's biggest nightmare come true. Even after being threatened to not attend any of Gerard's solo tour shows, the victim still has a bit of a soft spot for Lyn-Z, whom she was so besotted by and treasured their initial connection (I guess, hence why she won't take her friend's advice to make a legal case out of this; why it's taken until only recently, in her late 20s, to realize how inappropriate this friendship was). The angry and mean-spirited messages she'd gotten, painting her as a stalker, led to having a great impact on her mental health, losing both online and real-life friends, and job opportunities. She’s not in either the MCR or MSI fandoms anymore, and I can't blame her. Also, Lyn-Z may have apologized privately, but the thing is, she's never addressed her harmful actions publicly.

Before, I'd noticed a pattern of behavior with the similar stories, shared by @lynzuglyliar, @mysterygarbage, @unmaskinglynz and @loverofmenartandpasta, and, while I did say I was skeptical prior, I definitely believe them now. If a man sent a teen girl messages saying, "I think you're super special. Can I keep you?" he'd readily be labeled a predator. I feel like the public have only recently become more critical of female groomers, given the whole Colleen Ballinger situation last Summer; plus, the amount of criticism geared toward Miss Grundy in the 1st season of Riverdale. Even if it wasn't sexual, Lyn-Z and the Coven gained this girl's trust, showered her with affection and invited her over, etc. And, really, are these accusations surprising, when members of her social circle have been accused of the same thing (Jimmy, Chantal, Jessicka)?

If Lyn-Z is still this possessive over Gerard today, then it makes the thought of what their marriage has been like behind closed doors heart-wrenching. And all the more infuriating when people continue to brush off these claims as nothing but being made up by jealous fangirls who only want Gerard to themselves.

Your partner must become beautiful after your first child is born (OAO: OR after you marry)(If it’s an ugly sim edit in cas, if it’s an supernatural you can make it human or edit the genetics).

Rules: have a childhood best friend (if you have the pets expansion it must be a pet). You can only leave home for school. Your partner must be poor, your partner must be on the criminal career. Have maximum of 4 children

Generation 10: Merida 🐻

“You always judge your mother for leaving her rich life and marrying someone poor. Your adventures lead you to trouble and getting grounded.”

Rules: you must have the rebellious trait. Lose yours siblings and mother in an accident.

Now you can choose two endings:

You try to change your families past, but you fail. You don’t believe in love and you never marry. You believe you’re cursed so you never have kids. When you’re older you realize you weren’t and you reject (oao: I think they meant regret) not having kids.

You gain the commitment issues trait as a young adult and you never marry. You can choose to adopt a child or be child free when you complete your lifetime wish.

I’m going to throw my two cents in and *try* not to offend anyone because I promise I really don’t mean to. I think for the past two or so years we have gotten a lot of Harry content not only because of tour but also with pap walks, movies, and also the Holivia bullshit and people got used to the idea of seeing things and hearing about him on a consistent basis. I don’t want to say everyone is obsessed (although some are) but I do think it becomes a sort of “addiction” for some people where seeing Harry stuff makes them feel good so they keep wanting more of it. It almost like a drug. I think people freaking out about him retiring is because they are not going to get their daily “fix” of Harry and they are worried they might not ever again. I literally just saw a girl who runs a Harry social media account say that she wasn’t sure how her life was going to continue from now on and was very upset. I’m sorry but that is scary to me that some people place their entire happiness on one person. It’s great that he can ADD joy to people’s lives but at the same time he is only human and makes mistakes but also deserves to take a break and rest and he didn’t ask for the responsibility of being the ONLY source of some people’s happiness. I think a lot of the reactions are based on fear right now and not knowing how to adjust to not seeing something every day or every week and some people really need to take a step back and find some other things that bring joy besides Harry. He will be back at some point and even if he wasn’t, I’m sure there would be some sort of indication or announcement that he wasn’t. He isn’t just going to drop off to never be seen or heard from again. On another note, I disagree with whoever said Gemma doesn’t want to get married so Harry probably doesn’t want to. I always have gotten the impression he does want that one day and I’m pretty sure he has said this in several interviews before. Just because his sister supposedly thinks one way doesn’t mean he does but I don’t think he will be getting married or having kids right away. I’m sure when he meets “the one” we will at least have some fan pics of them out somewhere. Even if they aren’t public, I don’t think he would keep their existence entirely hidden so I don’t know why people are worried about that too unless it’s also a fear thing like Mod said. Sorry for the long post but I just wanted to offer a different perspective on what *might* be going on.

Oh it's definitely an addiction to some people. They're going to go through "withdrawals". I think this mainly applies to the chronically online people. I won't try to get too deep into it rn but yeah lol

Oh… was the state of Scarlet and Violet the reason why you took a hiatus?

{Admittedly, no—it just had hilariously excellent timing.

If we're talking about the blog alone, the hiatus was (and is, as it's still technically going on) purely accidental because of a cross between RL stuff and me spending a lot more time on original fic, which honestly makes me happier than writing fanfiction ever has. There's something about toying with a universe you've created entirely on your own—and, also admittedly, seeing how many people are actually interested in reading what you create. I'm actually working on three different novels at the moment, one of which I plan on self-publishing sometime next year (and another of which is a delightful fantasy romance that's best described as "powerverse meets FFXIV Endwalker," should anyone be interested), and the amount of support I've gotten from writeblr, Tumblr's writing community, for these novels has been incredible.

But really, I do it for the freedom and the peace of it. I sort of alluded to this when I left fandom as a whole, but when I was super involved with the fandom, I felt like I was constantly doing things for other people or changing parts of myself to please others, only to have people violate my boundaries, take advantage of me, treat me like crap, ignore me/my needs, etc, and then go off on me because I wasn't doing what they wanted. There are good people in fandom, don't get me wrong. It's just that there are also a lot of people who don't really acknowledge that other people on the internet are, you know. Other people. If you catch my drift.

Point is, I just wasn't having fun. At all. And I guess that's also why I haven't really been back all that much. It's been hard to do much with Pokémon because sometimes, when I look at anything to do with it, I'm just reminded of how many years I'd spent making myself miserable when I could have been embracing the things I love. Like, apparently, I really like film analysis, and I never really knew that before because I'd always spend my time talking about Pokémon? And lost media! I spent two hours watching somebody on YouTube talk about how they discovered the lost Saban Moon pilot, and it was incredible. And musicals—apparently, I love musicals too!

And then, the writing! I wrote an entire book that was probably about 75% one dude monologuing, and people actually liked it? Not a single comment was disparaging? They're excited to see me turn it into a book they can hold?

I guess what I'm trying to say is for a very long time, I wasn't having fun with fandom. If anything, I was just hanging around because I liked Bill and Lanette and because I felt like I had to in some respects. So I kinda had to leave to do my own thing and figure things out, and that became a hiatus for the blog too, not because I intended to leave it when I left fandom (I was planning on doing more of my own thing here, after all) but more because I realized I was just having more fun doing other stuff.

Now, again, don't get me wrong. I still like this blog and want to continue running it. It's just that it isn't as much of a priority for me as it used to be. Will I ever close the askbox and write an ending? Maybe. I'd thought about it, even. It's been a couple of years since we last really heard from Bill and Lanette, and I had thoughts about writing a post in which we find out they've gotten married and started in on a new project—maybe even lay the foundations of Halcyon Labs, as a nod to one of my fanfics. But if that post ever comes, it'll be some time far off, I think. I'm not quite done with this blog just yet.

But! Yes, I'm still on hiatus. Technically.}

The Early 60’s was an innocent time in America if you were White and middle class. Well, on the surface it looked like that. Every sin was a secret. Superficiality was as phony as a three-dollar bill. You were never allowed to express your true feelings because it was bad optics. Your clothes were a status symbol and so was your car. It was the second decade of the teenager and the first time that age groups were recognized as real people.

During the prior decade, Rock & Roll had burst onto the scene, scaring the adults to high heaven. Dance styles emulated sexual movements in bed. Black singers were sexualizing our pure-as-white-as-snow children.

Then, scandals ruined the music movements. Payola was one of them. Record A&R promoters would bribe disk jockeys to play their records. Jerry Lee Lewis married an underaged girl. Elvis got drafted into the Army. The Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens, and Buddy Holly all died in a fatal plane crash.

By 1960, the era of JFK Camelot had taken hold. Rock & Roll was replaced by teen idols—good looking chads with nice pompadours. The fossil fuel industry made millions selling hair tonic to horny, teenage, White boys who wanted to get laid. If you were handsome and could sing, you got an agent who got you a record contract. Then, you had a team of song writers who penned you a hit record. You appeared on teen dance shows and lip synched your hit song. Millions of teenage girls had your picture on their bedroom walls. You had it made! For four years, starting in 1959, teen idols dominated the charts. They ruled the airwaves.

Then, on February 9th, 1964, the Beatles debuted on the Ed Sulivan Show. Afterwards, Franki Avalon, Booby Rydell, and Fabian lost their fame. Some teen idols survived by starring in B movies; others ended up as auto mechanics. One teen idol saved his career by singing a song about an underage girl, “Come Back When You Grow Up, Girl.” For a while, Ephebophilia was a trend in popular music.

All in all, the has-been teen idols blamed their showbiz failure on the Beatles. The Beatles, however, reminded Americans what Rock and Roll was all about. They changed everything about popular music and culture. Long hair replaced slicked-back pompadours. Tennis shoes were replaced by Beatles boots. The Beatles had one Ephebophilia-themed lyric that went, “Well, she was just 17, you know what I mean,…” It was called, “I Saw Her Standing There.” American conservatives claimed the Beatles were after our White, virgin, maidens. Actually—it was the other way around!

Fast forward to the 90’s. The music industry was on top of the Fortune 500. Money and cocaine ruled the decade. The Punk Rock movement fragmented into various sects. Heavy Metal became androgynous; all the metal bands looked like the 70’s New York Dolls. Synthesizers and drum machines dominated the radio airwaves. The Grateful Dead became a traveling hippie band to Gen X goofballs who missed the Summer of Love. College radio stations became popular because commercial radio sucked ass. The so-called Rock stations were playing 70’s Heavy Metal music. Only college radio was the saving grace of real music. Kids knew how fake music had gotten, with the silly clothes and hairdos.

I used to live in Los Angeles, in the Fairfax district. There was a street called Melrose, a two-lane thoroughfare that stretched eastward from West Hollywood to East Hollywood. It had independent store fronts for stuff like plumbing supplies, paint, and carpeting. It also had a few small theaters for actors trying to make it to the big time. Then, suddenly, due to cheap rent, a myriad of shops popped up; trendy shops for the “dedicated followers of fashion.” Before long, the sidewalks became crowded with teens in costumes defined as goth rockers, new romantics, mods, punk rockers, and heavy metal geeks. West Melrose Avenue became a mixture of England’s 1966 Carnaby Street and the Sunset Strip of the same year. I stopped going there.

Everybody became alienated by the superficiality of music. Instead, kids were being drawn to Speed Metal and Hard Core Punk.

Then, up in Aberdeen Washington, a new band appeared. They looked like early 70’s Hippies. They played a mixture of Punk and Heavy Metal. They didn’t give a shit about their appearance. They had no money for nice clothes or haircuts. It was because of this that Rock critics gave them the moniker, “grunge.” They were “Nirvana.” After they hit the scene, like Detroit in the 60’s, Seatle became the new capital of Rock. The Seattle bands took Rock music back to their roots!

Overnight, nobody hung out on Melrose anymore. Glam Rock clubs closed, chicks with dicks bands disappeared, and Techno Pop vanished from radio.  Subsequently, these types all blamed Nirvana. So-called “Alternative Rock” was born. Then, Gangster Rap came crashing into the youth’s consciousness. Grunge took over, as did Speed Core bands. Rock was back! But not to stay; It lasted just 10 years.

A lot of 80’s musicians blamed Nirvana for their unemployment. They have themselves to blame. There is more to Rock and Roll than drug orgies, outlandish outfits, and fancy guitars. It was all about the music. 80’s rock stars wanted glory and fun, but not the hard work of creativity and artistry of the music.

Thank God for the Beatles’ and Nirvana’s revolutions. What will be next?

Isaac's story began with an elevator of all things. His father, Alexander, who perpetually lives his life in a suit and tie, and his mother, Fern, who was affectionately described as a force of nature by those who loved her met in a faulty elevator in New York City. Alexander was there for business, while Fern was in the midst of flitting from state to state in search of adventure. In the years that followed, she would describe their meeting as kismet while Alexander thought of it as a happy accident. Either way, it felt to them as if it was meant to be.

For months following their meeting, the two kept in touch, often talking for hours on the phone before they decided to meet again in person. His father flew Fern out to California and the two were inseparable from that moment on. They were married not long after and a few years later brought a baby boy into the world.

For nearly the first fourteen years of his life, everything was perfect. His parents provided a warm and loving home filled with music and laughter. They adored him and he wanted for nothing. That all changed, however, just four months after his fourteenth birthday. For days Isaac had been sick, barely leaving his bed so when his appetite finally returned and he asked his mother for chocolate chip pancakes, she was more than happy to oblige. The only problem was that they were all out of chocolate chips. So, to the store, they went. It was on the way that disaster struck. His mother's car was hit by a truck trying to speed through the light and while Isaac came out relatively unscathed, his mother wasn't so lucky.

After Fern's passing, Isaac fell into a deep depression while his father buried himself in his work. Suddenly the warm and loving home he had grown up in was gone, replaced by just the shell of what once was. That coupled with the guilt he felt over his mother's death grew to be too much and a few days before his fifteenth birthday, he decided he couldn't live with the guilt anymore. A member of the staff found him and after a brief stint in the hospital followed by a short stay in a psychiatric facility, he was sent to stay in Merrock with his grandparents on his mother's side per his grandmother's request.

At first, Isaac hated the idea, but with time and plenty of therapy, he slowly began to feel like himself again. While the pain he felt following his mother's death never truly subsided, he made room for it and began to find joy in life again. He made friends and a few weeks before his sixteenth birthday, he met a girl through a mutual friend. The two got on like a house on fire. At first, they were just friends, but it didn't take long for feelings to develop between them. It was young love, puppy love, really. The kind that felt like it would stretch on forever, but they were young and stupid and just a month before his seventeenth birthday, they discovered that they were going to be parents. Naturally, their families didn't take it well. For a couple weeks, they grappled with what to do about their situation before they eventually decided to keep the baby and raise it.

The following nine or so months passed quickly and before they knew it, they were the terrified parents of a healthy baby girl. They lasted four days before she left, leaving Isaac a single parent. It was an incredibly daunting task, but Isaac refused to give his daughter up. Instead, with the help of his grandparents, he chose to raise his daughter without her mother. The following years flew by. Although it was hard, Isaac managed to finish high school before moving on to study at a nearby university and eventually became a high school English teacher all while balancing parenthood.

Now, he works at the local high school teaching twelfth-grade English during the school day and during the afternoons, evenings, and on days off of school he works as a tattoo artist at Mods while trying like hell to raise his daughter on his own.

1. What’s one experience your character had that made them very afraid? - Ashe

In a very chaotic battle, Spade sustained a pretty nasty injury from a charge and it was bad enough Ashe was told by the healer Spade was going to die there or it was going to either be a very long road to recovery and there was still a high risk Spade wasn't going to make it at all. Ashe has raised and known Spade since his birth and he was still a very young horse (4-5yrs old), so he was absolutely terrified he was going to lose his best friend. He triple checks Spade's armor and always ensures to upgrade it even before his own any chance he gets, because a mounted knight is only as good as his steed and those initial days while he was critical spent sleeping outside the stall just worrying and hoping he would be okay still haunts him.

2. Does your character have a deep and/or dark secret? If so, what is it? - Cerelia

Yes! They really do. She's going to murder anyone who claims to know this, so other muses be warned. Meta-gaming/God-modding this one will result in death.

Cerelia's secret is that she was raised by the Celestial King of Wind and is actually his spy in the "mortal" planes, reporting back what is actually happening and why the gates are being opened. Whether or not she's there to help the gates open or prevent them... well... that remains to be seen.

3. Have they ever lost a loved one? What happened to them, and are they the same as they were before they lost them? - Azure

Yes, and I regret writing it every time I look at his backstory. Azure lost his beloved Sebastian the day before they were to be wed. They had run away to an Italy as it had always been Azure's dream to get married there and Sebastian didn't have the heart to deny him that even though he was aware of his father's poor reputation with the a powerful gang in Italy because he didn't know just how terrible that reputation was. He was murdered brutally in front of Azure and as a "warning" to Sebastian's father, Azure was made to drag his dying boyfriend (and eventually corpse) through the streets out of town.

Azure has never been the same. Completely traumatized by the events he found he couldn't reintegrate back into normal life, haunted by every little thing that reminded him of Sebastian. Thus, he ran from it all and is still hiding from his trauma in a formerly abandoned cottage the forests.

4. Has your character ever been hurt or betrayed by someone they thought they could depend on? What happened? - Kuro

Since the only being Kuro truly depends on is his twin brother, Shiro? No, actually. Shiro and Kuro have rarely gotten into situations where one could even have the chance to betray the other. They're more likely to tell their twin someone tried to split them up and then go torture them or dismember them as a warning to anyone else who dares to try.

5. Would they ever turn on someone they just met in order to save themselves? - Shiro

. . .Yes. Shiro does not make emotional connections to others quickly and he has the moral compass of...well, a demon. He'll happily sacrifice a stranger if it meant self preservation and he wouldn't even lose sleep over it.

6. Have they ever committed a crime, or something they felt was wrong? What was it? - Faelen

He accidentally stole a book from the library once because he was following his mother and reading it while walking and his mother didn't notice he still had it until they were home. When he went back in tears professing he was sorry and that he didn't know, he found out it was actually "free book" day and he had picked up said book from the pile of books that were being given away...for free... (this boy has never done anything wrong in his life....well...except...that one thing...)

7. If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would it be and why? - Azure

The mob boss who dealt the final blow to Sebastian that made his love suffer the entire time he was dying.

8. Does your character have any enemies? If so, who and why? - Ashe

Mostly just the kingdoms his kingdom is at war with because he is a loyal knight and enemies of the crown he serves are by proxy his enemies.

A common enemy for the mortal planes though would be the King of the Umbra whose seals are being broken across the world...

9. Is the character a victim of abuse? - Faelen (the random number generator is really picking on him tonight. I've rerolled twice and gotten him on this one and the prior 2 questions...)

Sadly, yes. The "M" scar/brand on his wrist was not his own doing nor is it a tattoo.

10. What were the character’s parents like? What was the affect the parents had on the character? - Ian

Ian's parents were actually very kind and loving by demonic standards and even human standards (very very unusual). They supported and cared deeply for their two children.

This made losing them the way he did that much harder on Ian. He was still very young and his support system was ripped out from under him. Even as an adult now, he still self-soothes by humming his mother's lullaby and re-reading the only book he has left from his home (a small thing he has managed to keep hidden all these years) that tells of a legend in the Sand Demons that a great dragon would be the savior of their people cursed to the shapes of lizards. He pleaded and begged that dragon to save him many times growing up. As an adult, he still reads it but more for comforting nostalgia than for actually believing the legend.

NOTE: I’ve gotten some questions about a potential Sims 3 version of the Space Legacy Challenge. I haven’t played much of the Sims 3, so I don’t feel qualified to make a version of this challenge for the game. However, if anyone wants to make a Sims 3 version, you are more than welcome to. Just be sure to tag me!

Basic Rules:

-Start as a young adult

-Your sim can be any gender and have any sexual orientation 

-You can create generation one’s family (parents/siblings) beforehand but not necessary and won’t interfere with the challenge if you do or don’t

Mercury: Gen 1

Color: Blue Gray

Mercury is the smallest planet in the solar system and closest to the sun. Mercury’s temperature fluctuates from extremely hot to extremely cold every day, due to its close proximity to the sun. Mercury is also the fastest planet, zipping around the sun every 88 earth days.

You are a bright-eyed freshly adult sim and you can’t wait to see the world! Your friends always joke about how you’re basically a human golden retriever. You love adventure and you are loyal to a fault, but you can also be hot-headed and cruel if done wrong. It’s kind of difficult to figure you out. You long to experience new things and see what the world has to offer you!

Venus, occasionally known as Earth’s twin, is similar in size and shape as the green planet. However, Venus is incredibly dense, the hottest planet in the solar system, and contains crushing air pressure. Venus was the first planet to be explored by spacecraft, and has gotten more than 40 spacecraft visitors. Venus spins in the opposite direction to most other planets.

Your parents always saw the best in the world, and you never understood why. To you, life is harsh and unforgiving, so to protect yourself, you become harsh and unforgiving in return. You grow up with an acidic tongue and push everyone away, preferring to focus on your career. The only problem? You’re the most attractive person in any room, and it becomes increasingly difficult to push away infatuated love interests.

Earth is the only planet that we know of that is capable of supporting life. Most of Earth’s surface is covered in water, and is protected by our atmosphere. 

Growing up, you looked up to and adored your grandparent; you loved the way they saw the world and wanted to fix it! Ever since you were a kid you’ve always wanted to be just like them. You were always the most trusting of your family too. You have a natural green thumb, and love being outdoors and gardening. You have a strong maternal/paternal instinct and can’t wait to have kids. After failing to conceive multiple times however, you finally have a baby, and you vow to protect and love them till your dying breath.

The Moon: Gen 4

Color: Silver

The moon is Earth’s only satellite, and an important feature in stabilizing the earth. The moon controls Earth’s tides and how it wobbles on its axis. The moon is the only place that humans have set foot on beyond Earth. It is also littered with craters and holes from asteroids, thanks to its thin atmosphere.

Your parent and you have always had a special bond. Since you have multiple chronic illnesses, you’ve been doted on since birth. You went everywhere with your parent, and now that you’re an adult, you’re finding it hard to fly the nest. You've been offered a position at your dream university, but can you risk breaking your parent’s heart by moving so far away? And even more pressing, will you be able to make it on your own?

Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun – a dusty, cold, desert world with a very thin atmosphere. Mars is one of the most explored bodies in our solar system, and it's the only planet where we've sent rovers to roam the alien landscape. These robotic explorers have found lots of evidence that Mars was much wetter and warmer, with a thicker atmosphere, billions of years ago.

As a child, your parents always taught you to stick up for yourself. They wanted you to be ambitious and self-assured. You grew up in the suburbs and you loved it, but you have always been the wild child of the family. You long to explore the vast universe and make it your goal to discover universes that no one has seen before. Even though you’re a hyperactive coffee addict with a taste for adventure and freedom, you also want to find someone who understands you. Maybe that special someone lives among the stars?

Jupiter has more than 75 moons.

Your parents have always been obsessed with space. They always made you watch sci-fi movies as a kid, enrolled you in astronomy classes, and dressed you as an astronaut every Halloween. The rest of your family loved it, and you didn’t really mind it too much, but you were more interested in keeping your head out of the clouds. You much prefer reading over science and rainy days with tea over flying through outer space. All you’ve ever wanted was a quiet life, free from the chaos of your family. To put it simply; you are the embodiment of dark academia.

Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second largest planet in our solar system. Adorned with thousands of beautiful ringlets, Saturn is unique among the planets. It is not the only planet to have rings—made of chunks of ice and rock—but none are as spectacular or as complicated as Saturn's.

You were raised in a very hectic household. You have so many siblings that your parents didn’t always pay that much attention to you. And you love attention. You and your siblings get along, but you can’t stand that they got more attention than you. Once you become a young adult, you move out and decide to make something of yourself. That’ll show them! You hide behind an overly confident exterior in order to hide your true feelings. You just want someone to love you for all of you- even the ugly parts. But true love is harder to find than you thought. And it doesn’t help that the paparazzi keep eyeing every person you go on a date with. (To be honest, you don’t mind the attention that much).

Uranus: Gen 8

Color: Light Blue or Icy Blue

Uranus is an ice giant. Most of its mass is a hot, dense fluid of "icy" materials – water, methane and ammonia – above a small rocky core. Uranus has 13 known rings. The inner rings are narrow and dark and the outer rings are brightly colored. Like Venus, Uranus rotates east to west. But Uranus is unique in that it rotates on its side.

Your parent was obsessed with the spotlight and their image in the media. They weren’t the worst parent, but they weren’t always around for the things that mattered. You got all A’s and exceeded at your extracurriculars, but nobody ever seemed to notice. You’re fine with it, honestly. Maybe it’s best that you fade into the background. You try to become a politician like your family expects of you, but it doesn’t feel right. It’s only after you reach half way through your career do you realize that all you’ve ever wanted was to help people and make a bigger impact than your parent did. Dark, cold, and whipped by supersonic winds, ice giant Neptune is the eighth and most distant planet in our solar system. Neptune has at least five main rings and four more ring arcs, which are clumps of dust and debris likely formed by the gravity of a nearby moon.

In your family, you’re kind of known as the perfectionist. You’re extremely blunt to the point of hurtful but you have good intentions. Some people describe you as cold, but deep down you have a heart 3 sizes too big. You like being known as the intimidating goth of the family, which is why no one can know you run a cutesy pastel veterinarian shop, which you co-own with your cutesy pastel partner. You insist to your family that you work as an accountant, which is just an excuse so that they never see you in your cute pink vet outfit.

Pluto – which is smaller than Earth’s Moon – has a heart-shaped glacier that’s the size of Texas and Oklahoma. This fascinating world has blue skies, spinning moons, mountains as high as the Rockies, and it snows – but the snow is red.

Growing up, you were surrounded by love. Your parents were total opposites but they loved each other dearly. When you were a teen, you had a few people who became romantically interested in you, but nothing ever felt right with them. You try desperately to find the love your parents had, but to no avail. When you become a young adult, you start to realize that maybe… Romantic love just isn’t for you. Instead, you pour your heart into your relationship with your friends. Hey, platonic love is better anyway!

❤ You made him realize something about his preferences. When it comes to physical contact, he's not gotten a bunch, romantic or otherwise. You are his introduction to touch - to love. And touching you: your squishy thighs, your plump hips and the lascivious curves of your body is so welcoming compared to every other body he has [and hasn't] touched. You don't know this, because he never tells you, but if you are good at reading people you will realize this in the way his hands attract to the rotund parts of your body when it comes to situations where it is acceptable for him to grab you.

❤ So, he is quite defensive on behalf of you. If you have friends who love to compliment you - he will talk back to them. Like if you post yourself, in the comment section of your post: your friends complimenting you non-stop and professing their love, he is going to mass respond to them in the comments with "shut up.". It is something that is both maddening and hilarious. But he loves you so much, he's so protective and head over heels. He has never felt so strongly about somebody. He always imagined his future like this: marrying a girl that his family signs him up to. But you're different. You're his choice. You've honestly never been with somebody that listens to what you say - somebody who can also keep up with their promises.

After some time alone in the bedroom, Byakuya in his own study, doing whatever the work (that he hates explaining) is. You let him spend his time in that damn study. Part of it is you not being in the mood to harass him, not now.

As you went into the kitchen, looking for a drink, you spot the grocery bags. The normal servants aren't in here to put them away. Should you? You eye them - wondering if they bought that drink you requested. Looking wouldn't hurt. Your fingers pull at the reusable bags, peeking inside. You do this to three only for your hand to be stopped by pale, slender fingers grabbing your wrists.

"Quite frankly, I do not expect you to be doing the butlers work."

You look up at him, squinting your eyes to taunt him. "I just wanted to see if you asked them to get my drink like you promised."

He rolls his eyes, looking at you briefly before marching over to the fridge and opening it. You're surprised he even knows how to work a fridge. Has he touched one himself in his life? He shows his hand to you, holding your favorite flavored beverage, to which you tilt your head in surprise.

He says, "It won't be in those bags because I got it for you myself."

You stare at him for a moment - your eyes shining with admiration before you awkwardly take it from his hand. "I'm surprised. Thank... you."

❤ The two of you always have some witty back and forth banter when it comes to things like what colors to match with at the professional gathering - what flowers to order for his family's dinner party. Being with him for so long just means you're more willing to talk back to him, knowing that he doesn't mean any genuine harm, and no amount of him rolling his eyes will mean that he stops being in love with you.

❤ You talk about your favorite places to be touched - and he listens, because truthfully, he likes touching you everywhere, so limiting it to a few places leaves him more than satisfied.

❤ He likes it when you sling your legs over him when you're cuddling into his side. This way he can hold your thighs.

❤ Although, his favorite cuddling position (once he gets comfortable enough to sleep close to you) is spooning you, his hand innocuously in between your breasts, warmed by your toasty chest.

❤ Drunk Togami's hands will accidentally land on your ass when he goes down to hug you - a miscalculation - but the consensual honking afterwards is not an accident.

Korekiyo Shinguuji

❤ He was so used to 'traditional' small bodies of those accessible to him. But humanity is diverse - and his tastes are diverse - so being with you means he finally gets to delve into his love of stout flesh. He will kiss your thighs, holding your knees with his hands as he uses his lips on your skin. Him touching you is almost entirely salacious in nature - outside of simple things like cuddling, or if it's unconsensual, then he won't go there. You - you are just delightful and delicious. He is a body-worshipper, but you don't need to know that. His attraction towards you was very physical based initially, as he had the mindset that he would never fall in love with someone - but once he started talking to you, he found your story swapping addicting, and he decided that for once, he would let himself settle.

❤ He visited you a lot when he was courting you. He gave you a lot of lilacs, walking you home after every date, sending you letters in the mail (multiple papers each time) whenever he is away on a study. He thinks about you constantly. The glitter in your eyes when you see him after he returns - the way you let him indulge in you without being scared. You're his dream, and he had also found himself not being aloof towards you in the slightest. The two of you had created a game to occupy your longing for each other whenever he was away - he would send you a photo of an artifact, and you would guess where he is, or what it was used for, or if it's clothes - what era and region it is from. He adores you for partaking in his work like this.

"Hmmm... Is your intention to enrapture me, or else, your body is too striking for my eyes?" His eyes fall down to the leggings clenching your visible legs. You put on jewelry in the mirror, letting out a har har to him, too busy decorating yourself to give him an actual response. His flirting is an every day thing, and you're accustomed to it - not feeling as flustered as you would have been months ago.

He is always so excited to bring you to his presentations. You are mostly unaware of any of the topics he talks about, but having you by his side improves his confidence, so you go. Plus, half of his department consistently compliment you, so it boosts your compliments too.

After a few seconds, you find him still staring at you, so you put your hands on your hips and giving him a form of a smile through the mirror. "If my intention was to 'enrapture' you - you would be on your knees right now."

He comes up behind you and presses his lips to the back of your head. "I am more than willing to go down on my knees if that's what you desire."

"Not right now - not right now."

You can still feel your cheeks heating.

❤ When he let it slip that he has 'gotten around' with various women, you had a physical reaction, one that made him laugh to shield his embarrassment. He did not mean to tell you - and whether you were off-put or intrigued in beyond him. Any details you want to ask, he'll answer anyway. He is an informer.

❤ Your first kiss was many many months after he started courting you. He had many times pressed his masked lips to the back of your hand, or nuzzling into your cheek and neck, but feeling his bare lips on yours was a long-awaited specialty.

❤ Even though he acts all high and mighty in the area of love, he is dead at the neck up, not experienced anything before sexual pleasure, so things like cuddling and suaveness is truly outside of his region of knowledge, but god is he good at improvising.

❤ Whenever he would sit next to you, he'd hold your hand, physically analyzing your fingers in an almost stim-like way.

❤ He is very conscious about how he compliments you. He doesn't want to focus all of his attention to your body - because even though it's what drew him in to you, he needs you to know that you're special; that he fell for you.

Games I Played in 2021

Because Why Not? 

Only listing games I spent a “Significant” time playing (Let’s say 10+ hours) or played to finish.  Not including like, dumb webgames or mobile games (which I didn’t play much of anyway.)  There’s lots of other games I tried and decided against playing, or dipped a toe into and thought “Yeah I’ll get into this” and then have not yet.

Wildermyth

I’m going to start with the game that inspired me to make this post, just because I really think more people should know about Wildermyth.  It’s an RPG where you create characters who yes, fight monsters and save the world, but also live their lives in the background and in the in-between years between chapters.  They fall in love, get married, and have children who also join your party.  You play out the story, often with your earliest heroes retiring before the story is done, leaving the youngsters to finish the work.  They can die heroically.  They can be blessed (or maybe cursed) with transformations turning them into werewolves, ravens, elementals also completely changing how your character works in some cases.  And then you can make some into legacy heroes which can be pulled into other adventures.

There are several campaigns to play out, each starting a fresh story.  There’s a crafting element.  There are pets, artifact weapons... the game is deep.

There are mods in the Steam Workshop which will make the game easier than intended, if you choose to use them.

The artwork is papercraft, but it’s gorgeous.  The story plays out in comic-like panels, which somehow works so well. The dialog and narration is poetic.  The overland map is generated at random.  You will get surprisingly attached to some of your characters.

Honestly I can’t recommend this game enough.  It was the best new thing I played all year, and has gotten some accolades to back it up.

Cyberpunk 2077

Technically started in 2020, but finished in 2021.  I didn’t pay any attention at all to this game before it was released, but it looked interesting so I bought it just before release, ignored 98% of the controversy surrounding it, and enjoyed the hell out of it for what it was.  Am disappointed all the big plans for updates and DLC seem to have gone out the window.  But I did nearly everything this game had to offer, and as a bonus when I was about 2/3rds done I upgraded to a 3090FE so at some point, maybe this year, I’m excited to revisit the game with the graphics cranked up the entire time.  Romanced River, loved all the main characters.  It was worth it.  I understand that this game didn’t live up to expectations, but I went in expecting nothing and loved it

Fallout 4 (Incomplete)

I tried replaying FO4 and I probably put about 30 hours into it and haven’t gotten back to it.  I keep meaning to.  But I probably did the typical Fallout/Elder Scrolls thing where I spent as much time fiddling with mods as I did playing, and I did make the game kind of unstable.  Oops.  Didn’t make it far enough to do a romance, but I did have a mod installed where Nate (your husband) survives so that was interesting, having him along.  It was REALLY nice to play with all the graphics cranked up, though.  I’mma finish!  I played like 200 hours the first time and never finished the game because I was mad that my preferred ending wasn’t possible.  (I wanted to take over the institute but make it a force for good.

Mass Effect 3

Did a ME3-only playthrough (before the LE came out) to knock out some goals I’ve always had of the game, seeing a few things different than my typical all-Paragon-win-everything-Femshep/Kaidan canon.  Played as MShep, did several renegade choices - including betraying Wrex - that I normally wouldn’t, and finally saw the MShep/Kaidan romance.  Game started crashing during Citaldel Epiloge Mod and I never got around to troubleshooting that so I guess technically I didn’t finish completely, but good enough.

Mass Effect (1) Legendary Edition - 1.5 Times

I played ME1 on release up through finishing Noveria and nearly every sidequest possible to this point, then decided to put it on hold til the modders could do some modding.  Like I’ve posted extensively about lately, I did finish it and am now waiting on the LE2 Community Patch to get started on a LE2 playthrough.  Did my canon Femshep/Kaidan/Vanguard/Paragon run and will continue to do so for amazing screenshots.  But I’m already planning my next trilogy playthrough.  Really, really love LE1 and all its changes, especially with the mods helping perfect it.

Boyfriend Dungeon

I actually Kickstarted this game way back when because it looked hilarious.  I do not play “Visual Novel” type games typically, just not may jam.  But this one had the isometric fighting element and seemed off the wall, so I was like “Sure!  Why not!”

So I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed it!  I did most of the romances (not the kid in college, felt they were too young, and I dipped out of Sunder’s) but my main romance was Issac.  The story was interesting, the fighting was fun, good experience overall.  Will probably play again when the last two characters are released.

The Outer Worlds

I’d played this game on release via Xbox Game Pass, then waited for it to come to Steam and go on sale, including the DLC, to buy it for real and do a second run.  As I hadn’t done the DLC before, that was the main draw to replay.  I really loved the game the first time around, and felt the same this time, but will forever be mad I cannot romance Vicar Max, (or Nyoka).  Especially after softening him up after his personal quest.  But it was still really fun and I enjoyed both of the DLCs, Murder on Erandios a little more.

New World

Yeah, I played New World.  The launch was terribly typical botched MMO launch, and things didn’t get much better from there.  I did join a company of nice people and reconnected with an old friend while playing for a bit, and I did enjoy a lot of what I did when I did play it, but after things got so bad that they started shutting off the economy for a week or two at a time, I dipped until this game can get its shit together.  Not to mention the way that the guild leaders are able to fuck over the playerbase even more than they can in a typical MMO and that it’s nearly impossible to get into the endgame/PVP stuff (which, admittedly, I wasn’t close to and didn’t do ANY PvP in this game while I played) without being in one of the elite guilds.

Amazing visuals, until you realize they all repeat themselves a lot.  There was a lot of copy/pasting to get this game out.  I usually try to be more positive about games I played, but tbh this is one I probably would have told myself not to really bother with, at least not yet, if I could turn back time.

Solasta: Crown of the Magister

Another game I’d Kickstarted.  A pretty faithful D&D5e adaption mechanics-wise.  Really enjoyed the gameplay, and yay modders bringing in more options.  Also there are now player-made campaigns being made and released for more content (like Neverwinter Nights.) 

The main campaign is... good.  Not great.  Enjoyable.  Still a recommendation.  I did enjoy how you get to create your own party and can assign them personalities so that they have unique voiced lines.  If you want to pay a 5e-based video game, it’s a good one to try.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker

I made it uh... maybe halfway(?) through this game on release a year or two ago.  Giving it another shot.  Slowly making my way through it again.  I don’t know if I will finish, I load it up and play a few hours every couple of weeks still.  Something about it just doesn’t grab me, even though I feel like it should.  I’m cheating heavily this time to get through the more tedious aspects.  TBH I more feel like I’d like to play Kingmaker in a TTRPG using PF2e rules.  Does that exist? Someone run that for me and other nice people who like PF2e, thx.

The Sims 4

I mean... who didn’t play The Sims in one way or another this year?  I really like playing The Sims while like, watching Critical Role, or MST3k, or any movie/show I want to watch but not pay 100% attention to.

What I maybe spent the most time on with The Sims 4 this year is making an entire house as a map for my Sunday night D&D game that I run.  Which is what that screenshot was from, the boss-fight room that was a magic/alchemy lab that had been trashed by The Monster.

House Flipper 

Like The Sims 4, it’s a great game to play while paying a lot more attention to something else.  Also like The Sims 4, it’s about decorating houses.  But also about cleaning up houses and doing tasks for people and earning money.  Yes I think House Flipping IRL is Not Great.  But it’s a pleasant distraction game and I’ve been enjoying playing it.  This is a screenshot of the starter shack you get as a home/office, I’m mostly done redecorating it.

Torchlight III

I’d played 1 & 2 and enjoyed them.  Three was fine.  I enjoyed it.  Nothing groundbreaking.  Again, I mostly played it while watching CR/movies/TV as it didn’t take a lot of concentration.   Eh, I don’t have a screenshot and I’m not gonna go get one.

lol just kidding, all I did was boot up the game and get the achievement for not playing the game for 5 years.  I should replay it, though.  It’s a cool game.

Star Wars: The Old Republic

I mean, I’ve been playing this game since Beta, but some years I don’t touch it.  And I didn’t for most of this year.

But since I’ve been playing that long, one of my big regrets is that all my screenshots from my first few characters are all small, and ugly in many ways.  The graphics in game have been somewhat improved since 2011 but also I couldn’t run the game at even close to the max settings back around launch.  Not only that, but there wasn’t armor customization and both you and your companions were often stuck looking like a clown (sometimes literally) because you needed to gear yourself and them in whatever you could find, and that usually didn’t match.

But a lot changed since then. 

So, I went and made an exact visual clone of my main character (A trooper), and named her the same thing with one extra letter, and ran through the main storyline plus a couple of favorite planetary quests again, screenshotting and videoing along the way.  Technically I haven’t finished, still need to do Corellia and the endgame, but I will.  Also I just played around on my other characters a bit (I have so many) and uh... spent a lot of cartel coins (I had tons saved up from being a subscriber) on this winter sale + unlocks.  But yay, lots of pretty (for an 11 year old game) with maxed settings and matching outfits and outfit changes with some of the best looking outfits in the game.  I’ve made some gifs, need to make some more to keep posting that Beth/Aric romance storyline.

Might do the same for a couple of other favorite early characters.

Next I gotta get my main through the Onslaught storyline, because the last time I played seriously was right around when that came out, but then I burned out.

Fable 2

I don’t have a screenshot because I’ve been playing it on my Xbox360.  Literally the first time I booted my 360 up in 5+ years.  I have not bought any other consoles except a Switch since then because I just don’t play consoles much.

Stalled on the playthrough a bit, but I’m about to recruit Stephen Fry’s character.  Probably need to give up on doing a completionist game and just put my head down and finish it.

Minor Mentions:

I literally stopped playing Animal Crossing New Years 2020. I played every day from May til then.  I picked it back up for a week or two, but not sure I’ll actually be a daily player and I hate getting guilt tripped by the game and having cockroaches in my virtual house every time I don’t log in for a few days.

I played a Hidden Objects / Adventure game all the way through on my Switch.  It was cheap, and entertaining enough.  I don’t remember the name of it and don’t care enough to go look.

I play Mah Jong and Solitare games on my Switch to wind down at night while listening to podcasts and hanging out with Patchy before going to sleep.  It’s probably sad that besides maybe Animal Crossing, this is what I’ve used my Switch for the most.

Also have a Mahjong game on Steam that is my other “distraction while watching Critical Role / MST3k” game.

Played a little bit of the Star Trek games that released on GOG this year.  It IS fun running around Voyager.  Also tried again to play Star Trek Online and I just CAN NOT get into the spaceship fighting part of the game, which is like, half of the game.  I am bad at it.  I don’t want to do it.  I like the storyline/ground team/building the spaceship parts of it.  But you can’t really play STO without the spaceship fighting part, and there’s no Story Mode in an MMO.

Does playing Dungeons and Dragons on Roll20 count as video gaming?  It doesn’t.  But I did that **A LOT** in 2021.  And will continue to do so in 2022.

ME:LE2 & 3, close to starting my MELE2 playthrough as soon as that Community Patch drops.

Finish Pathfinder: Kingmaker maybe? And maybe buy that 2nd Pathfinder game, is it better?

Also play, possibly finish, Fallout 4?

If Baldur’s Gate 3 releases, I’ll play it.  I bought it already, played for a few hours, and am waiting on release before I play again.

Finish Fable 2 and play Fable 3 which I bought on Steam last year.  I did play F3 to completion when it came out, but two attempts after that and I got caught in the game-breaking bug that gets you trapped in the “home base” area.  Heard that’s fixed on the PC version.  I hope so.

I bought No Man’s Sky because my brother loves it.  I dipped my toe in and haven’t been back.  Would like to.

Bought Outward and haven’t tried it.  Would like to.

The Waylanders - I Kickstarted this and the official release date is in February.  Played the first hour or two and think I’ll like the full game.  There’s 2 or 3 other games I KS’d that may release this year that look good.

New SWTOR expansion drops in February, will probably try it.

I stalled out on my playthrough of Divinity: Original Sin 2 in 2020.  I should finish that.

Possible Replays,: Enderal (seriously, please play Enderal.), a renegade “fuck up” Mass Effect (LE) run where I deliberately ignore/lose most of my beloved companions, Cyberpunk 2077, Pillars of Eternity 1&2, maybe Baldur’s Gate 2 before BG3?  All of these should take a backseat to newer games I haven’t played at all or lately.

I’m sure there are things coming out I haven’t thought of, and surprise drops may happen.

New and Improved list of Aphmau series that were eventually forgotten about

Rewritten, because all of my old posts have popped out of existence

Mod Mod World - Jess tries different Minecraft Mods out and there’s a little bit of plot sprinkled throughout, very nostalgic

VOID Paradox - Again, MMW but rewritten so Laurance stans could finally be fed, however the ending will leave everyone feeling 2x sorrier for him. Pls give this series a S2

Mermaid Tales - A very cute miniseries that you could totally binge watch within a day. Zane is a crab, Teony and Amber are gfs your honor. The only downfall is that there is no S2 because Lucinda was going to be the big-bad, but it left off on a cute ending so there’s nothing else necessary to the plot!

Heart Point - I completely forgot this was a miniseries she did, from what I remember it was a dating simulator game to try and earn points from the peers around her. Honestly it sounds cute!

Meteora Valley - Omg I also forgot this was a series of hers, I was absolutely in love with it and I liked how we as the viewers got to choose what happened next. I still don’t like how because Jason originally voiced one of the characters he got all the good things and Kestin’s character ended up being treated so badly :( (maybe I’ll discuss it one day because wow was the fandom at its worst during that time)

Ultra Nova - This looks like a Roblox series but it’s just a weirdly shaped MC series that I know nothing about lmao, pretty sure it’s about the story of a girl who has big dreams and how she worked hard for them but this series never caught my interest

The Pilot Episodes/The Big Move - Before the canon S1, 14 episodes were released to show the audience a ‘What-If’ for the MCD characters where they’re all in the modern world. It’s nice to see how MyStreet started off originally, with Jess still reading the character scripts herself and using Speech-Bubbles when the characters speak to each other in scenes!

Winter Special/The Technical S4 - Between S3 and S4 there were about 25 episodes of Side Stories that advanced the plot but did not count as a Season despite how many episodes were released

Aphmau’s Year - The year that Aaron spent recovering from S4 while everyone else waits on MyStreet, it’s super sad however none of the characters that were at the lodge ever recovered properly from that incident

Her Wish - The 3-Part series that confirmed that MCD and MyStreet are connected within the same universe, I won’t get too into it but Alina from MCD is the main protagonist in this series, this takes place after S6, showing that everything will turn out okay in the end

Side Stories 3.0 - After S6 was released, there have been 6 episodes so far that show MyStreet in the future, going back to that Slice-Of-Life cliche again

A Royal Tale - Princes and Princesses need to get married or they won’t be in charge of their kingdoms after their parents pass, chaos ensues. I can’t remember anything from this series except for the fact that Aphmau and Aaron don’t actually get together in the end!!

Graduation Days - A quick miniseries about the remaining MyStreet cast graduating from college and the rest of the cast in college. This is just a transition between Phoenix Drop and FC University

Diaries Rebirth - The rewritten S1 of Minecraft Diaries that should have gotten continued :( It had so much potential

Diaries Season 3 - The continuation of MCD, I can’t remember much about this series in general but it always leaves a warm place in my heart

Dreams of Estorra - I never got into it and I probably never will because that series only has 16 episodes and hasn’t been updated in 3 years, RIP the DoE fandom, you deserve better

My Inner Demons - For the longest time I thought this series and Heart Point were the same ones lmao, I never watched this before this was during the time where my interest in Aphmau started to dip very much but it looks so interesting!!

(I just KNOW that I’m missing something else but I genuinely can’t remember any other big RP’s that Aphmau did that were eventually forgotten overtime)
