Hello! I’ve been so ill this past few weeks and been hospitalized because of medical concerns. Found out that I have a tumor and it was already malignant. I have a Stage 2A Cervical Cancer and needs help ASAP. 🥺

Ace & Aro Collective AU & AVEN are cohosts to this years International Asexuality Conference, IAC23. The team is very busy behind the scenes, but we would love if you could donate to help cover costs! Costs include venue hire, venue bond, liability insurance etc. IAC23 is free to attend ! Updates: We did have a venue but we were only recently told we would be unable to use it for the in person portion of the conference - and as such we are expecting this to be a major expense , over $1000 AUD. Most venues require a bond of $500 AUD and liability insurance will be atleast $400. Anything you can donate towards these costs would be greatly appreciated ! Any funds that are in excess of what is needed for the IAC23 will fund the ongoing work of AACAU.

I have some kind of feeling about the way that people on here will talk about people giving them "mutual aid" specifically. I got nothing against people wanting a nicer word than "charity", but the whole point of the idea of mutual aid, as far as I understand it at least, is that it comes from the community and it goes to the community. Like, a group of people who are all passing money around to each other and who are giving each other stuff. If I'm honest, I don't really feel in community with almost anyone on here, and while I don't mind giving what is to me largely filed under "tzedukah" (charity, but this time it's a religious mitzvah and obligation) it does feel odd to me to pretend like I could trust any of the people that I am donating to to have my back in any kind of crisis

Had a class that gave me such a bad impression on the first day that I’m actually meeting my advisor to talk about dropping it for something else tomorrow. Did not help my already growing dissatisfaction with college.

i need a mobility aid but i can't afford electric ones but i need smth lightweight for the bus/my mobility aid unfriendly campus but a cane or crutches won't work bc of my also disabled wrists so i need a wheelchair or scooter but again i can't afford a scooter so a wheelchair's my only option but with my wrists i can't push a manual wheelchair every day but even if i could afford an electric one it'd be too clunky for my campus/town and lightweight foldable electric scooters with a chair and basket don't exist with batteries that last more than 12 miles at a time so once again my only option is a manual wheelchair bUT I CAN'T PUSH MYSELF IN ONE AND MY CAMPUS/TOWN IS NOT V WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY AND EVEN THOUGH I CAN TECHNICALLY AFFORD IT IT'S STILL INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!!!
