M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?) (or in his case evenings, I figure)

Slow, full of cuddles and “five more minutes, my love, please” – basically he loves to just hang around with you in bed. He also takes his sweet time getting ready after waking up – A) because he can B) “when you look this good…”; once he figures out what Tav’s favourite hot beverage is in the morning, he’d learn how to brew it perfectly and bring it to them when he’s feeling generous.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?) (and here days, accordingly)

Even more cuddles, talking before bed, talking after going to bed, probably having lots of wine while doing so – or just lounging around reading with his head in your lap while you detangle his soft curls.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Slowly at first but then more and more. But there’s just as much for him to unpack as there is for you to learn and take in. But Astarion learns quickly that you’re a good person to open up to: he feels safe and seen with you. And even if it doesn’t fix all his trauma right away – telling you, it really helps.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Astarion has more than a bit of temper. He can get very easily annoyed especially by little, seemingly unimportant things. He can snap at you but he tries to take a quick breather then and work through it and apologises – even though this too is something he learns slowly.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

I think he memorizes a lot about everyone anyway, because it’s a survival instinct to gather all possible information that might become helpful. But besides that: once Astarion is all aboard the relationship train, he will absolutely remember everything – probably even better than you. That’s also why he gets you the best gifts, because he listens, when you tell him something that you would like.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

He holds the memory of this first special hug very close and dear in his heart. Because he remembers how incredibly frightened he was how scary that leap was. But there you were quite literally with open arms and an open heart.

But there’s lots more moments. When you bought the house in Baldur’s Gate and he could carry you inside the first time cheekily in bridal style? The first gift you ever gave him for your first anniversary? There’sso many and he collects them like precious little treasures.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Very, oh he’s so very protective. And he will cut someone if the need arises. He might actually even be a bit too eager about it. And he likes when you’re protective of him as well – and let’s be honest you’re just as eager to keep him safe.

Nobody touches you or him – or they get the sharp end of a knife.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Everyday stuff, oh eeeeh, it’s hard. Astarion is just so not used to it, but he tries. He really does. And gifts, dates and all? Firstly, he finds out that he’s very much a romantic. Secondly, this man does not do things like this lightly, because “if we were going to be basic about it, we don’t have to do it at all”.

And he regularly outdoes himself trying to spoil you.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

As much as he tries to be open and learn. The habits of 200 years die hard. Sometimes when he feels backed into a corner he snaps and he can be very much hurtful. And as much as you want to pretend you rationally know it better, you do get angry sometimes, you do feel hurt. And you do have fights.

But at latest when tempers are cooled again, you always get back around to talking it through and learning something from it. The two of you never go to bed angry with each other – that’s an unspoken agreement.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Astarion deeply is a creature of vanity. He cares about his looks almost as much as he cares about Tav. And it can annoying, but then again: he deserves to treat himself and he deserves all the swooning and pining and compliment you can give him – and you happily supply.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Let me cite a fic of mine and although Tav says it, Astarion feels very much the same:

“I love you so much, I would give up everything for you, if only it meant I could still be with you. I would burn this whole world down if it meant, I could keep you safe. I would walk with you to the end of the universe if it was what you needed to be happy. And if I ever where to leave this earthly world behind, I believe my soul would find you again – and again and again – because I’m half and only ever whole with you.”

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

It’s hard to say that he has no regrets. And surely Astarion would never want to go through all his trauma again, but yet… in the end he met you, didn’t he?

In the end he found you and you became his light.

Sometimes he thinks about that as you lay beside him dreaming. He softly moves a strand of hair out of your closed eyes and thanks whatever God has sent you his way

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Plainly, if they saw him in a way like probably everyone did for the past two centuries and if he felt used by them. But you’re you and would never do that.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

He doesn’t know it but he tends to be a clinger when he’s in his dreamful trance. And maybe this is only a thing he developed since the two of you have been together, but he sometimes wakes you because in his sleep he pulls you to him so you’re left with nothing but snuggling up to him – becoming his life size teddy bear.

You’d never have it any other way!

Anonymous ask: the alphabet one, can you do a romantic SFW alphabet? Like how Nikolai would be in a relationship. If you have enough time (and you want to) can you also do the normal NSFW one as well? Like how Nikolai is as a physical lover?

Sorry for the wait anon, but here’s the SFW version. NSFW hopefully coming (pun fully intended 😉) in a day or two! This was my first time at one of these alphabet posts, I found the templates here on tumblr. It kind of goes without saying that these are just my head canons based on the books/Netflix show, and you are of course free to disagree with them😊

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?) - Nikolai is very affectionate, particularly with close friends and lovers. He didn’t get a lot of affection growing up, so he craves it as an adult. He always keeps things appropriate in front of other people, just hand holding and causal touches, but when you’re alone he can’t keep his hands off you -

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?) - Nikolai is a great friend, he’s warm and kind, and unfailingly loyal. He’s a bit of a joker, so his best friend needs to have a good sense of humour. Nikolai is willing to go to the ends of the earth to help his friends and would lay down his life for them without a second thought -

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?) - Nikolai definitely likes to cuddle, especially in bed, and he’s happy to be the big or the little spoon depending on what his partner prefers -

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?) - Nikolai wants to settle down eventually, he’s a bit of a wanderer but he longs for a family of his own. He’s always been neat and tidy, although growing up in the palace with servants meant he didn’t do much cooking or cleaning as a child, but years in the army/at sea mean he’s picked up at least some of the basics. He can probably make a meal out of very little, but whether it would be edible is up for debate -

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?) - Nikolai hates goodbyes, he’d rather not break up with a partner and for that reason he’d probably put it off as long as possible. He struggles with feelings of not being “enough” and puts a lot of pressure on himself to be a perfect prince, so if he were to end things then I think it would likely come from a place of thinking his partner “deserves better”. Nikolai wouldn’t want to draw things out, but he is a talker, and he would want to say the “right” thing, so for a breakup he’d have a speech planned ahead of time.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?) - Nikolai goes all in when it comes to commitment, and he’s no stranger to a hasty proposal. Once he’s found his one, he would see no reason to wait on getting married -

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?) - Nikolai is more than capable of being gentle both physically and emotionally. He puts on a front to the world - the tough privateer and the charming prince - but underneath all that, he’s just a boy wanting to be loved. Once he lets down his walls, he’s all soft touches and sweet words -

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?) - Nikolai is a big hugger. He’s not afraid to pull a friend in for a hug, either in greeting or as a way to offer comfort. He gives good hugs, the kind that make you feel warm and fuzzy -

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?) - Nikolai wears his heart on his sleeve, as soon as he knows he’s in love with you he’d have no problem saying it out loud -

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?) - Nikolai is a bit of a flirt himself so he’d be a total hypocrite if he got upset over his partner doing the same. That being said, he does get jealous occasionally - particularly if someone touches his partner in a less than casual way. He also won’t stand for anyone making his partner uncomfortable, so anyone pushing their luck will earn themselves a sharp word from him -

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?) - Nikolai is a fantastic kisser. He likes to kiss you as often as possible, just a peck on the lips in public, and a lot more sensual in private. He likes when you press a kiss to his temple especially if it’s combined with your fingers running through his hair, usually when you’re cuddling together -

L = Little ones (How are they around children?) - Nikolai is great with kids. He’s patient and kind, and he has endless energy to chase them around. His fun sense of humour makes him a hit, especially with the little ones. He wants children of his own someday, and he’d be a loving and attentive father, giving his kids all the affection he himself never got as a child -

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?) - He’s a busy man and an early riser, but on the rare morning he can sleep in he loves to cuddle with you and feed you breakfast in bed. Sometimes he wakes even earlier, just so he can admire your sleeping form in the light of the sunrise before he has to start his day -

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?) - Nikolai has trouble sleeping, he has a lot on his mind. His favourite time to talk is late at night, when you’re cuddled up in bed together and the rest of the world is safely shut out -

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?) - In some ways he’s an open book, but he also tends to spend a lot of his time trying to be whoever other people want him to be. He would be slow to really open up to you, but once he felt safe enough to actually drop the act and just be himself, he’d share everything with you -

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?) - Nikolai is generally a patient guy, he’s a smart strategist and knows the value of waiting to get what he really wants. Sometimes he can be impulsive and act rashly, usually when it comes to people he loves being put in harm’s way -

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?) - Nikolai pays attention to the tiny details and remembers them all. This is partly because of his people pleasing tendencies- the easiest way to be who people want you to be is to study them, work out what they like and then be that person - but it’s also because when he loves someone, he wants to know all of them. He wants to know everything about you, every little mundane detail is fascinating to him -

R = Remember (What is their favourite moment in your relationship?) - Nikolai’s favourite moment would be when you finally confessed your feeling for each other. It’s a moment he would hold onto in bad times, knowing that he loves you and you love him in return is such a big thing for him, he would never take that for granted -

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?) - Nikolai is very protective of the people he loves, and he would never want you in danger. He would lay down his life to protect you or any of his friends. Words of affirmation make him feel safe and loved -

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?) - Nikolai puts a lot of effort into dates, anniversaries etc. He’s a romantic at heart and very observant, so he’s a great gift giver too. Day to day, he’s very busy, but he’d still try his best to make you feel loved and appreciated -

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?) - A bad habit of Nikolai’s is getting lost in his projects, whether that’s saving Ravka or his newest invention. Even when his current fixation is completed, he’s straight on to the next one. His mind is always working a mile a minute, and he finds it hard to switch off or rest –

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?) - Nikolai looks good and he knows it too. He takes pride in his appearance and his clothes. It’s important to him that he look polished and put together, and it’s a kind of armour for him, an image he projects to the world -

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?) - Nikolai loves with his entire being, and once he’s found his true love, he wouldn’t feel whole without them. If you absolutely had to be parted for any length of time, he would give you a token to hold on to and if you gave him something in return, he would treasure it until he could be reunited with you -

X = Xtra (A random head canon for them.) - Nikolai is great at card tricks. He saw a magician as a child and was obsessed with figuring out the secrets behind his tricks. Once he learned them, he practiced for hours until he perfected the performance -

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?) - Nikolai has no time or patience for prejudice. He wants a united Ravka, where all its citizens can live happily and peacefully, and that includes Grisha. He values loyalty, and one thing he would not easily forgive from a partner is a betrayal -

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?) - Nikolai is a bit of an insomniac because he lives such a stressful life, but when he does fall asleep, he’s generally dead to the world for a few hours. However, he does talk in his sleep and has been known to sleepwalk from time to time -

Note: Gaaagh...Finally! It's done. My message box is swarming with ideas and asks and I had to get this done before doing anything else. Again, I'm posting a random pic instead of Berserk related pic because I can.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Sorry, Guts’ range of affection is caring whether you live or die. That being said, the man would at least try if he end up in a relationship. Hard life toughens people up, but it also makes them more sensitive, and tender in some places. Like scar tissue that has never been completely restored. There are moments when Guts needs you. He survived many of these battles with his mental health somehow intact because there was always your voice, bringing him back from the dark corners of his mind, reminding him why is he fighting.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Protective. You’re not getting into any fights or following your stupid ideas as long as Guts is around. He’s the type of friend you’d ask for a huge favor and all he’d say would be: “When?” and “Whaddya want me to do?” He’s a constant, reassuring presence in your life. It’s difficult to gain his friendship, but when you do it’s for a lifetime.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

The mans a cuddler, even though he doesn’t know it. He may not even realize what he’s doing is cuddling or he may do it unconsciously. Whether he leans on you after a long day of traveling or drapes an arm around you when sleeping. Guts gets more cuddly the more he is tired, so I advise you to take advantage of that.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

All Guts know is to swing a sword, but if the war ended and Griffith would be defeated, there would be no use for mercenaries like him, so he would be forced to settle. Changing your life is always easier when you have someone adapting with you. He would need your help and support when accustoming to this new lifestyle. If given the right instructions, there are not many Guts couldn’t do with his hands. I see him as the type to build a house he’d live in with his partner and family. Occasionally his hands would itch to hold a sword handle, so you could find him in the backyard of his home swinging with that massive blade of his.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

He would approach the matter the way he does everything in life, straight ahead, bluntly, and to the point. He thinks you deserve that the matter is dealt as painlessly and quickly as possible, without any shitty excuses.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quickly would they want to get married?)

Guts never thought about marriage before. That goes against his credo which is: to plan only for the next day ahead. The lives of mercenaries tend to be short and unpredictable, so there’s no reason for any big plan such as marriage. Another reason why Guts may not rush into engagement is he is not used to such big commitments. Technically, the last time he gave away his life to someone it didn’t end well. He may be worried about leaving you alone in this world if he were to die. It may not even occur to Guts that he could marry someone he’s considered a partner for some while. His comrades would have to probably knock some sense into him and tell him it’s about the time most couples get married by this point.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

The black swordsman is the definition of Not Gentle in any sense of the word. Now there’s something that needs to be said. When a person is accused of lack of gentleness or outright called brute, we usually envision someone inherently cruel and mean. With Guts, it’s a mix of his personality, background, and severe trauma that caused his overall roughness. Gentleness had no place in his life. He never encountered it, nor he had any use for it. The reason he’s such a skilled mercenary is exactly his toughness. This goes so far that Guts is confused and defensive when given a shred of kindness. However, people who were not treated kindly and were forced to be tough by their environment are often those most sensitive. He may not know how to be gentle, but he can teach, observe, absorb, and even reciprocate if given the right pointers.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Addressing the previous text, Guts is tougher than nails mercenary swordsman. Hugs is not something he usually participates in. In anime and manga, he even pushed people away when they got into his personal space, specifically telling people not to touch him. It’s a defense mechanism. Most of the physical contact he got in his life was in a form of combat and he doesn’t know how to feel about other kinds. He’s scared of being vulnerable with someone, understandably. Give him time. Be careful with him. Take small steps. First, get him to allow you to stand close to him. Then, casual, fleeting touches. Until you wrap your arms around him. Better yet, ask him if you can touch him and wait patiently for consent, or open your arms and prompt Guts to embrace you on his own terms. Your first hug is endearingly awkward. Guts kinda woodenly wrapping his arms around you, not really touching you, with the two-inch distance between your bodies. Until he slowly presses his body into you, standing there like a statue, unsure what else to do. While you have time of your life, smushing your face into his pecs and caressing his back.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Probably never. Guts may never tell you these exact words, but he would show you with his actions. These words just don’t come to him easily. He’d rather say: “You’re important to me” or “I can’t lose you”.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

The black swordsman may actually get quite jealous and possessive. He would tell you that he’s not possessive, merely territorial over something that belongs to him. Most of the time he doesn’t overstep your boundaries unless he’s truly feeling threatened. He had to fight tooth and nail for that handful of possessions he has, you bet your ass he’d always keep a check on you. For Guts, it’s not that he thinks you would cheat on him, but more that other people might get funny ideas. He’s also competitive as hell, I don’t think that’s being talked enough about.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

The flavor of Guts’ kisses depends on the situation and the stage of your relationship. In the beginning, the kisses will be hesitant and soft, due to Guts’ lack of experience, mixed with his nervousness and clumsiness in anything intimate. He quickly presses his lips to yours, hoping you wouldn’t notice the slight tremble and pause before his lips met yours. And yes, Guts’ is really nervous about messing up your first kiss. He would die first before admitting it tho. After he gets confident in his skills and his position in your relationship, his kisses would get more passionate and powerful. This guy is big on I-haven’t-seen-you-for-some-time-and-I-have-to-have-you-now kinds of kisses. The ones when he stalks to you in powerful strides, dark eyes boring into you. Unknknowing bystanders would think he wants to kill you from his body language. Although Guts has some stabbing in the plan, as he sweeps you into his arms and his mouth devours yours, ignorant about where he is or who’s watching. If that’s the case everybody better get the fuck out of his way because he’s been craving you for months.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Not really, Guts are not good with kids. He doesn’t know how to interact with them or how to treat them. Not to mention he finds their weakness and innocence triggering. However, in the manga, he clearly tries his best to take care of that little kid. As he grows older, he might associate a family with the stability he never had, and when he holds his child, an incredible sense of protectiveness washes over him. Extremely protective parent who treats his children like they are made of glass, even as they get older. He’s the type of dad that doesn’t always communicate and connects well with his kids, but they know he means well.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Guts usually wake up before you to start the day with a bit of sword training. When he gets to the point in his life where there’s no imminent danger or quest, he likes to laze around for a day. Good luck getting anything done when he decides it’s one of these days because the man is not spending that time in bed alone.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

In an established relationship with Guts, things quickly fall into a routine. Once you actually have a place to live in, evenings become your favorite routine. As you both prepare for bed, you watch muscles rippling in his back as he pulls his shirt over his head and he brushes your hair, you two settle for bed. You don’t go a single night without sharing a kiss goodnight. When he sleeps, Guts always unconsciously touch some part of your body with his.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Phew…that’s a tough one…Very, very, very late into the relationship. Obviously, there are things that are extremely hard for him to talk about and then there are things he talks about matter-of-factly and flippantly without realizing how awful and traumatizing the event was. Sadly, Guts doesn’t have all the standards as to how he should be treated. He also has major memory lapses and remembers only chunks of twisted versions of moments from his past.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Well, he is a berserker. Patience or serenity is not his forte. Then again he took upon a Sisyphean task of defeating Gods’ Hand and Griffith. I’ll say he has short temper for short-time things, but when he sets his sight on something, he goes a long and strenuous way to get it. With his partner, certain things just boil his blood. Not listening to his orders, getting injured or pestering him with questions, and sometimes having pretty reasonable demands. Guts go-to emotion is usually anger and then he actually thinks about it and realizes he was a bit too harsh, or not. The mans stubborn as hell. He just won’t budge on some things.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Guts surprise you with how many things he knows and remembers about you. You feel sometimes like he doesn’t care about you the way you do for him, but you’re wrong. He’s always watching, always listening even if it doesn’t look like it. He always keeps checking on you, especially in crowded places. He can be talking to anybody or looking the other way but his senses will be always acutely aware of your presence. Before you two got together he listened intently to your chatter with others, looking like he couldn’t care less or even that the noise annoys him (brat).

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Your first time. It may sound silly but your first time was literally the definition of perfect, at least for him. It was after a battle with one of the apostles. They were dead but at the price of Guts’ wrecked body and mind. You were changing his bandages at the moment you carefully treated his wounds with a contracted stomach. You were a superb healer, but you can’t do miracles. Then, you noticed him shaking. You dropped everything and held onto him until he calmed down. After that, he suddenly pressed his lips against yours and start to pull at your clothes. The last thing he remembers is you urging him to be gentle, otherwise, he’ll open his wounds. And he was, in fact, he remembers that moment to this day because the Black Swordsman is not a soft man, but back then he loved with all the softness he didn’t even know he possessed.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Extremely protective. One of the few signs of him showing affection. I’m pretty sure as Berserk fans we can all see and agree on strong protective urges for this man, but only to certain people. Now what needs to be talked about more is how weak it makes Guts when someone is protective of him. The older he gets, the more he learns to appreciate that, especially after Eclipse.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

His partner would have to be the one keeping track of these things. Guts would even think it’s nonsense. You love one another, why address it with such frivolities?

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Guts is unadaptable and stubborn. This man will probably hurt your feelings a lot before you get together. Guts don’t mince words and when it comes to empathy he’s like an elephant in a porcelain shop. Many times he watched you leave angrily or in tears with a thought Was it something I said? Ugh. Good luck if you try to talk him out of something, the man won’t budge, no matter how wrong it is. Compromises don’t work with this guy. He’s an insensitive fuck. Part of it is his trauma, and part of it is just him being a jerk. There’s a reason he never had a partner, Guts has a charm of a tree stump. Guts also likes to throw himself in danger mindlessly, to the point where you are not worried for him anymore, just annoyed and frustrated. His idea of heroism is confused with stupidity. Impatient. Whatever it is, he wanted it done yesterday before he even thought of it. Very private guy, to the point where he’ll budge only when your relationship is at stake. Sorry to tell you, but being with this guy is just not easy. Guts knows he’s a bit of an ass, all the more he appreciates that you give him the time of your day.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Guts don’t give a rat's ass about how he looks, as long as he doesn’t smell bad in front of you. He doesn’t consider himself attractive. His blueprint for an attractive man was always Griffith, considering how everyone swooned over him, and since he’s his exact opposite, personality and looks wise, he’s gotta be ugly right? That doesn’t bother him any. He always perceived his body in terms of functionality, not appearance. He’s big and sturdy enough to withstand most blows and strong enough to wield his sword, that’s what matters to him. Depends on the depth of your relationship. For me, it’s very difficult to say how Guts would handle his loss of you. By experience, he would power through it and would do his best to move on because no amount of grieving would bring you back. The longer the two of you would be together, the more he would feel the lack of your presence in everything he has, everything he sees, and everything he experiences. Even the smallest of things. The empty space on shelves where your stuff occupied it. The plant that you used to take care of is now wilting. Your smell starts to dissipate from your sheets. If Guts misses you, he’ll never shows it in front of others.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

Guts has social anxiety and doesn’t know it. This is medieval times we’re talking about, so the concept of mental health didn’t even exist until the 19th century. His avoidance of social gatherings and large groups goes beyond his lone-wolf persona. The mans anxious and scared. Whenever he’s in a large crowd his heartbeat picks up, he gets overwhelmed and disoriented and has to get himself out of there. His partner knows this and they’re his support the same way cheetahs have support dogs. You make this more bearable just by him being able to sense your presence through your joined hands.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Lack of character. You Gotta learning how to Stand up for yourself. He can't dote on you and watch alternativní you all the time. Guts doesn't have patience with shy and meek People.

People that talk about themselves 24/7. The royal country was swarmed People like this and all they ever earned from Guts was a .ocking scoff. Let him Děčíně if you're worthy of his time with actions rather than words.

People who have constant need to prove something about themselves. cough Griffith cough

Clingy people. The quickest way to turn him off. He loves you he chose you, there’s no need for you to follow him like a lost puppy all the time. He’s bit of an ass. Guts will consider even general affection between two lovers as clinginess. You come up to him to take his arm and he’ll rips it away like you’ve bruned him. Relax, jeez.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

Depends on time and place, he can be very heavy sleeper. If he's wrought out after battle, he'll sleep like a log. Most of the times though, he's alert even in his sleep. Not even a mouse gets past his. Also, his night tend to be mostly his curse with one or two hours of sleep. If he's able to fall into deep sleep in your presence it's a sign that he trusts you. Lot's of tossing and turning. Whoever sleeps with better watch out or they'll end up with black eye.

Cardinal Copia is naturally affectionate, often expressing his care through warm embraces and gentle touches. He shows affection by surprising loved ones with thoughtful gestures, such as leaving small gifts or writing heartfelt notes. He loves surprising you with things like your favorite treat or your own personal acoustic concert of new/old songs.

B = Best friend:

As a best friend, Cardinal Copia is loyal and supportive. The friendship with him would likely start through a shared interest or a chance encounter. I like to imagine that you probably met him as a sister of sin and soon became his secretary. I know it’s cliché but I eat that shit up EVERY TIME!! I ,also, like to imagine that you are a vet/ pet care worker and he brings a rat when he gets sick. He, then, starts to make excuses to come see you because you don’t judge him for his pet choice. He would be the type of friend who listens attentively, offers advice, and is always there to lend a helping hand.

C = Cuddles:

Cardinal Copia enjoys cuddling, finding comfort in physical closeness. His cuddles are warm and reassuring, often accompanied by soft whispers or soothing strokes. He cherishes the intimate moments shared with his partner. He loves any position as long as he’s basically squeezed into you. You’re his true and only love and he’s not gonna lose it.

D = Domestic:

While Copia has a busy life, he appreciates the idea of settling down. He might not be the most skilled at cooking and cleaning, but he's willing to learn and contribute. His enthusiasm in creating a cozy and welcoming home would make up for any domestic shortcomings. I love to think he’s shit at cooking. Eggs? Burnt. Toast? Burnt? Cereal? Somehow, also burnt. But those aren’t things he really ate since he grew up in Italian culture. But, he can make killer Italian food and pastry. (Oh God, am I gonna have to write a domestic Copia fic?)

E = Ending:

If Copia had to break up with his partner, he would approach it with honesty and compassion. He would ensure that the conversation takes place in a private and comfortable setting. He would make sure that you understood why it was happening But God, it would it break his heart to do it. He would probably break up with you because he felt like he wasn’t giving you enough time on tour. Or that when he became papa, he’s so involved in paperwork that he doesn’t have enough time with you. He wants to fulfill his duty as leader but, he wants to keep you as happy as possible.

F = Fiancé(e):

Copia is open to commitment and values the bond of marriage. However, he believes in taking the time to build a strong foundation before rushing into such a significant step. Since marriage really wouldn’t be a option while he’s a papa, he would probably not think about this. He would be happy just knowing you were his forever. If you were serious for a while after he became papa, he would probably make you prime mover. But he treat you with a lot more respect than just a sexual partner.

G = Gentle:

Cardinal Copia is naturally gentle, both physically and emotionally. He handles delicate situations with care and approaches relationships with a soft touch. He takes great pride in treating others with kindness and tenderness. That’s one of the reasons why Nihil didn’t like that thought of him being Papa. As Cardinal, he was kind. He never raised his voice and would always be compassionate. He would always give a hand to anyone who needed it. Nihil didn’t believe that Copia would be capable of being a strong and serious leader.

H = Hugs:

Copia enjoys hugs and believes in its power to convey warmth and affection. He is generous with his hugs, freely giving them to express comfort, support, and love. He appreciates the comforting embrace of others as well. But his hugs… are exquisite. His hugs come from gentle arms but it tell you that they are with you. I can imagine after a long day of hard work. Both of you are having a bad day so you just sit and the couch and cuddle forever. I imagine he wears a very strong woodsy cologne.

I = I love you:

here’s the thing, we all know our mans is clumsy. I would think that Copia would try to takes his time before saying the L-word. He would want to be certain of his feelings and ensure that the connection is deep and meaningful. Despite that, he probably would say it in the most random times. You could be having a bad day and crying and he would come over and comfort you and tell you that he loves you. Or he accidentally bumped into you and tell you then. It’s probably not in the most fairytale way but it’s genuine.

J = Jealousy:

Copia prone to intense jealousy…. Especially if it deals with his brothers. He trusts you and believes in open communication to address any concerns. He’ll probably seek reassurance but he’ll never become possessive or controlling. Now, if you’re at a ritual and someone comes up and starts flirting with you, you better believe that he is on you. Holding you as tight as you can the entire night. Everyone in the ministry knows not to mess with you but once you get out and about, there’s no telling what could happen. And don’t even get me started about how he acts with his brothers and you. One time, before you were together, he saw you and Primo talking and laughing in the garden. He thought that you were flirting with each other so he ran to his room to cry for three solid days. When he joked about this later on, you told him that you actually remember that. You were actually in the garden talking about what flowers were Copia’s favorite and Primo was making fun of you (jokingly) for being in love with his brother.

K = Kisses:

His kisses are passionate and tender. He enjoys exploring different areas of intimacy and finds pleasure in sharing gentle kisses on the lips, as well as on the forehead, cheek, and hands. He appreciates both giving and receiving kisses on the neck, finding it particularly intimate. His first kiss with you one of two things: After a rather successful ritual and he ran backstage and kissed you. He was so caught up in emotions that he kinda forgot it was his first kiss but everything went perfect. Or, he could’ve been trying to confess his feelings. I imagine him stuttering and getting all jittery trying to explain how he feels and you cut him off by kissing him to let him know you feel the same.

L = Little ones:

Cardinal Copia is kind and nurturing around children. He’s a bit awkward at first, especially with babies, but after seeing how you interact with them, his tension would start to melt away and he relaxed around them. As they get older, Copia enjoys their innocent enthusiasm and loves to entertain them with his rats or his musical skills. He somehow has a natural ability to connect with kids, providing them a sense of security and understanding.

M = Morning:

Mornings with Cardinal Copia are often filled with laughter and warmth. He enjoys cozy breakfasts together, sharing light-hearted conversations and affectionate gestures. He might surprise his partner with a fresh cup of coffee or breakfast in bed. Especially if he makes that breakfast. It will consist of some thing that his brothers taught him when he was younger.

N = Night:

Nights with Copia are a time for intimacy and deep connection. He enjoys cuddling in bed, exchanging whispers and soft kisses. He cherishes the quiet moments shared, where he can truly be present with his partner. At night, he likes to read some sort of book. His makeup is off, his hair messy, glasses on. Hell, he’s probably playing something like Candy Crush or something.

Copia starts revealing things about himself gradually, allowing trust and familiarity to develop. Being friends for a long time meant that you two were already very comfortable telling each other things. When you start dating, he was slow to tell you even more secrets, until he knew you were the one. He believes in the importance of maintaining a balance between sharing personal details and respecting his own boundaries.

P = Patience:

Copia possesses a patient demeanor. He doesn't get easily angered and prefers to approach conflicts or frustrations with calmness and understanding. He believes in working through challenges together, fostering growth and harmony within the relationship. Now if you guys got angry with each other, he would feel like it was all his fault and he would try to make it up to you only for you to apologize too and remind him that it wasn’t all his fault. Overall, you very rarely fight, and he intends to keep it that way.

Q = Quizzes:

Copia has a remarkable memory and pays attention to the details. He remembers significant moments and appreciates the little things that his partner mentions in passing. His ability to recall and cherish these details adds a personal touch to their relationship. He would pretend not to remember things about you and ask you. It never annoyed you though. He loved hearing you talk about yourself and all of the things you can do. He’s absolutely smitten by you. Those conversations would reminded of how special you are.

R = Remember:

Copia's favorite moment in the relationship would be the first time his partner truly understood and embraced his dual nature, both the light and the darkness within him. It symbolizes acceptance and genuine connection, bringing immense joy and satisfaction. It would probably be after a particularly long tour. He just needed time to sit and think. You were right there beside him and constantly reassured him that he did a great job. He also really enjoys when you confessed to each other. Remember, you’re his first love. This is not something he’s ever experienced before. Thinking about all of those things you said about him and why you love him truly makes him smile every time he thinks about it.

Copia is protective of you and takes your safety seriously. He would do everything in his power to shield you from harm, whether it's physical or emotional. He would even ask Sister Imperator to teach you defensive and offensive spell you can so you can never be hurt. He appreciates a sense of security in his own life and you can offer him support and protection when needed.

T = Try:

Copia puts a great deal of effort into creating memorable experiences for you. He plans thoughtfully curated dates, celebrates anniversaries with heartfelt gestures, and surprises them with meaningful gifts. He believes in continuously nurturing the relationship and showing love through everyday tasks and acts of kindness. He always wants you to know how much he loves you. He would go to the ends of the earth for you and wants you to know it.

U = Ugly:

One of Copia's bad habits would be his jealousy. Like I said before, he’s very possessive and sometimes this causes the two of you to fight from time to time. He wants you to be with him, but you need him to respect your boundaries. Eventually, the two of you would make up and find a happy middle where you both were happy.

V = Vanity:

On the outside, it seems that Copia takes pride in his appearance and pays attention to his looks. He does believes in presenting himself well and maintains a certain level of vanity. However, he very self conscious in his looks.

For his partner, he values substance over superficiality and appreciates genuine connections beyond mere physical attraction. He’s not concerned about your looks at all and you amaze him even in your pajamas or in your clergy wear. You’re beautiful because of who you are. But, it’s an absolute bonus that he finds you smoking hot.

Copia feels complete and fulfilled when he's in a loving relationship. He thrives on the emotional bond and shared experiences with you. While he's an individual with his own identity, he believes that love enhances and enriches his life. Once he gets with you, however, he is truly terrified of losing you. He knows that he would never be whole again if he lost you. You are his world and he couldn’t even bear the thought of a life without you.

Do I think that he’s nervous and clumsy? Yes, but he hides it very well. When he first met you, he treated you with such elegant and poise. But on the inside he was a mess. He felt like his heart was beating out of his chest and that he could fall dead on the floor any minute.

I also feel like if he kept rats, he would love them but would be terrified of seeing one out and about. Just imagine that the cage breaks and all of a sudden there’s a rat running around the ministry. Someone will scream “there is a rat “and immediately he will turn his head and scream. He would totally forget that he actually has pet rats. Y’all know that one audio on TikTok that goes “It’s Shredder” and he goes “WHERE”… it’d be like that

Y = Yuck:

Copia dislikes dishonesty and lack of integrity in both himself and others. He values transparency and expects his partner to be honest and genuine. He also dislikes arrogance and selfishness, as these traits go against his core values.

Z = Zzz:

God, let’s not talk about his schedule. Copia’s sleep habits are hella irregular due to his busy schedule. However, when he does find the time to rest, he enjoys sleeping in a comfortable and cozy environment. That 100% means his bed, cuddled next to you or your guys matching plague doctor plushies. When he has the chance, he will always nap with you. He love those naps when it rains. The bad weather makes him want to stay in and relax with you. He loves feeling your body cuddled up against yours and when it rains, he brings you up to your bedroom and cuddles you until you both fall asleep.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

(Same as letter A: Affection in the yandere alphabet): Penny’s very affectionate, and expresses a lot of affection through physical contact. Kisses and hugs, of course, but also simpler gestures like having her hand on your arm when the two of you sit next to each other. She’s also pretty verbal about it, constantly cooing about the aspects of your personality and appearance she finds so endearing. She can be pretty intense and overwhelming about it, but tries to back off and be less intimidating with it if you’re shy/early in a relationship with her.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

(Same as letter L: Love Letter in the yandere alphabet): She’s rather bold, so I can see her just approaching her Darling and offering to hang out sometime with no shyness or apprehension. If her Darling is her neighbor, she loves fostering a positive connection through making food for you, helping each other out with lawn work and stuff, etc. If her Darling is one of Wisteria’s college friends (or even Wisteria’s Darling), she still brings them food but there’s more of a power dynamic to it since she’s fuckin’ rich and kinda inserting herself as their Sugar Momma (so to speak, with lots of literal sugary treats) and they’re… probably not exactly rolling in money as a college student, y’know? Also posits herself as a safe place to go if you need somewhere to spend the night. Really, regardless of the situation, she’s still going to try and spoil her friends a little. Still very physically affectionate (“Yeah, friends kiss and cuddle all the time… wdym it makes you uncomfortable?). From there she pushes the boundaries into romantic territory.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Penny loves cuddling, especially cuddling while laying down. She wants her arms and legs tangled with yours, her head buried in your chest while you talk or simply sleep. If she has to sedate you to cuddle you, she will.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Settling down with you and growing old together is what Penny wants the most! She loves cooking and cleaning, especially getting to make fun recipes like jalapeño poppers and cupcakes. She really adores baking and cake decorating as well. Penny’s great at cleaning, though you probably shouldn’t let her clean your place (which she’ll offer to do as a “favor”), because there’s a good chance she’ll use the opportunity to look through all your stuff to see what secrets you might be hiding, and maybe even place a few bugs… She’s not the best with tech, so they probably wouldn’t even work, but still! It’s the thought that counts, right…?

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

Penny’s not letting you break up with her; she’s just gonna drug and kidnap you.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

She wants to get married as soon as possible. After you’ve been dating for a few months, if you don’t seem ready to propose, she starts getting passive-aggressive and pointing out rings she likes, ads for honeymoons, etc. She’s not patient, but she also wants you to be the one to propose rather than the other way around.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Penny can be a little brash and overbearing at times, although she tries not to be. Sometimes the excitement and cute-aggression just overwhelms her and she has to give you a big ol hug and kisses, before she composes herself again. She can also be pretty insensitive with sharing her opinions on things, like your clothes, or your extremely dismal taste in partners (if you’re trying to date anyone but her, that is).

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Penny absolutely adores hugs, and she’ll give them to you all the time whether you want them or not. Her hugs are warm and tight. No matter how big or tall you may be, Penny usually makes a little swaying motion back-and-forth as if she’s hugging a plush to her chest and swinging it with excitement, if that makes sense? If you’re much smaller than she is, she might even be able to pick you up and move you just like that even though she’s not super strong lol.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

It really depends on your relationship. Penny wants to avoid being vulnerable by saying it early on, so she waits and gauges your reactions to smaller signals of affection before “accidentally,” letting an “I love you,” out. Unless you make her really, really jealous and she says it during an argument over whoever it is she’s so jealous of.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

(Same as letter J: Jealousy in the yandere alphabet): Penny is naturally very jealous and territorial. Even if you’re starting as “just friends,” she pouts at seeing you with any of your other friends, and starts doing what she can to drive them away without raising any alarm bells on your side. She’d be the kind of girlfriend to take your phone while you’re in the shower and start blocking people she thinks are getting too close to you, if she thinks she can get away with it without you noticing. If she doesn’t think she could get away with it she’ll probably beg and plead for you to block or unfollow them yourself. Penny wants to stay by your side as much as possible. If you insist on going out to work, she’ll spray your clothes with her perfume or leave lipstick on the collars of your shirts to try and mark her territory. If she gets jealous enough, poisons are her go-to. She’d love for that to be her first line of action, but she has enough awareness to be afraid of getting caught and arrested.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Penny likes kissing you all over your face in her bouts of cute-aggression towards you. Her kisses are usually quick, firm pecks, though kisses on the lips can drag out longer, as she gently slots her lips against yours and simply enjoys the warmth between you. Most of Penny’s kisses include both of her hands cupping your cheeks/squeezing your face to hold or pull you in. She likes being kissed on the neck and shoulders– she’s a little ticklish, and the soft feeling of your lips makes her giggle and feel all warm and happy, domestic.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Penny’s good with kids in general (good at playing pretend with them, reading stories to them. Little kids also think her pink hair and colorful clothes are cool), although she might not be the best mom for children of her own (overbearing, sets expectations too high, impatient with them). That doesn’t stop her from wanting kids with you, though.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

There’s a few different ways it could go, depending on your relationship with her. She typically doesn’t want to be seen the way she really is when she wakes up– disheveled, groggy. She wants to keep the illusion of being a morning person and avoid you seeing her without makeup (insecure), so she’ll do her best to wake up before you and put on her makeup. From there, she might make you breakfast, or she might crawl back in bed to pretend to wake up next to you when you do. If she’s more comfortable with you, you might get to see the genuine way she wakes up, all groggy and still-sleepy, and then make breakfast with her.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Penny’s ideal nights with you are spent cuddling on the couch, watching classic horror movies, or reading together.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

She isn’t the most open, as she feels the need to obfuscate her murderous instincts by playing them off as a joke or just sweeping them under the rug entirely. She also hides a whole room in her house, and her interest in deadly plants and poisons. Penny also hides her insecurities (but don’t many of us?). She can be open and honest, enthusiastic, about horror movies, cooking, gardening, and other casual things. There are some things that she’s “open and honest about” that she genuinely believes, but aren’t true (like that she and her little sister Wisteria had a good relationship growing up founded on mutual teasing, when the truth is that she pretty much bullied Wisteria when they were little).

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Penny’s impatient at the best of times. It only gets worse if she feels the need to kidnap you.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

She has conveniently selected memories about who you are and what you want. Everything that aligns with her wishes for your relationship is cemented in her mind, gilded even. Anything that doesn’t align with her fantasy ideals for the two of you is forgotten or blatantly ignored.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Your wedding~! Or if it hasn’t happened yet, it’s something she’s looking forward to immensely.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Penny’s territorial and protective in her own way, even though she doesn’t have the physical strength to fight most opponents she might come across. But, if other people are trying to put you down and be rude to you, she’s lightning-quick to stand up for you and give them a piece of her mind. She would feel very satisfied and smug if you protected her in any way, whether social or physical, and might play up her reactions just to get you to do it more.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Penny puts a good deal of effort into everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning. She tends to like casual dates, but for anniversaries or other special occasions she’ll put a lot of effort into making it special and setting the mood with decorations. Penny’s not the best at gift-giving because she’s more likely to give you things she wants you to have rather than things you’d actually want, if that makes sense.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Penny’s a malicious gossip and a bit of a bully, shameful for any age but especially for a grown adult.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

I wouldn’t call Penny’s feelings about her appearance vain– she’s more insecure than she comes across. The time and money she spends on her makeup says it all, I think; she doesn’t feel comfortable without it, even worrying about what her dear Darling might think if they saw her without it. She does have fun with dying her hair, and picking out clothes though!

(Same as letter Q: Quit in the yandere alphabet): In the unlikely event you died in her care, Penny would mummify and keep your body. She would feel as though her heart and soul have been ripped open and eviscerated, but she can’t accept those feelings. She might continue to play house with your corpse, having breakdowns in moments of lucidity. If you escape, she becomes obsessed with finding you and bringing you back. Penny doesn’t have the closest ties with the Bardots, but if needed, she can persuade them to help hunt you down and bring you back.

She listens to those true-crime podcasts where the hosts are like... jarringly cheerful/cutesy

She doesn’t like it when her Darling doesn’t pick up after themself. She’s very particular about how she likes things to be cleaned, so she doesn’t really let you help with cleaning, but she at least expects you to throw away your own trash. She doesn’t want to pick up after you to that extent!

Penny drools in her sleep, and tosses and turns quite a bit. She also tends to sleep in her makeup even though it can get on the pillows and isn’t good for her skin.

Duke is far from being the most affectionate person you've ever met. However, if he starts to get attached to you, he’ll be a little more considerate. Not that he’s gonna upfront about it – he won’t. But he’ll make sure to check on you a little more often, he’ll care more about your feelings… Generally, he’ll just be less annoyed by your mere existence. Although he doesn't mind physical contact, Duke is usually not the one to initiate it. You want to cuddle with him? Well, that's fine, go ahead. He'll let you wrap your arms around him and rest your head against his chest. For his part, he prefers giving light or friendly touches, like putting an arm around your shoulders, taking your hand to sketch a couple of dance steps, or simply brushing your back or your arm. If you're not the type to ask for cuddles a lot, he'll simply make those light touches from time to time, but not a lot more than that. However if you truly need a hug, you can be sure that he'll know, and he'll make sure you'll receive the biggest, warmest hug you ever had.

Duke is not exactly the domestic type. As an artist in the beginning of the XXth century, he grew used to rely on himself, and on himself only. The idea of living in a home that would belong to the both of you would make him uneasy at first, and he'll avoid the subject for a long time. So at first, for him "settling down" would look more like him spending all of his time at your place and doing the chores. And as time passes, he always seems to be staying longer. But it isn't really like he lives here right? I mean of course he washes his clothes with yours, he cleans and cooks sometimes, and you both eat and sleep together, but it isn't really like you're sharing a house right? He's not even paying the rent or anything, he's just visiting you for a few days! Expect him to think about it for a long time. He won't share his thoughts with you, but he will think about it a lot, until he'll finally connect the dots and ask you if he can just... Move in your house? And honestly you'll probably deadpan at him, considering he was already living almost h24 at your place anyway.

Duke is pretty independent. He doesn't feel like he needs a partner to be complete. Most of the time, he'll ask people out because they sparked his interest briefly, but once the dopamine disappeared and he starts getting bored, he really struggles to maintain a meaningful connection. So he'll look pretty detached, almost cold, while breaking up with an ex. They either bored him, or frantically annoyed him by not going along with his little mischievous plans. He doesn't like being held back and feel restricted.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Once he finally accepted to officially lives with you, committing is not that much of a problem. To Duke, it's practically the same thing anyway, except you'll both have some more jewelry, and he'll get a new occasion to blow your mind with some impressive demonstration of love. But he will do his best to make sure you feel loved and appreciated for who you are. What can I say? He's a bit of a romantic at heart.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Duke is not fundamentally mean, it's just that he can be... A bit insensitive at times. He doesn't mean it of course, but it can happens for him to do a joke that he intended to be fun for you, but might hurt your feelings a bit. It's really not bad intentioned tho, and obviously he will immediately say sorry if you tell him it was hurtful. But yeah, emotionally, he can be pretty challenging from time to time. Same physically: he can hugs you or wraps his arms around you a little too tight if he gets carried away, but it's never too harsh and if anything, it's definitely a proof that he cares about you.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

As I said before, Duke is not the most touchy-feely in the whole crew. But he can have his moments, when he's feeling particularly joyful. Sometimes he'll simply get carried away and lift you up in a tight hug, making you turn around until you can't help but giggle at his behavior. Other than that, he will definitely tease you when he feels flirty, by wrapping his arms around your waist from behind and whispering some joke to make you blush.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

It's pretty easy to catch Duke's attention. The most challenging part is to keep it. And I think he knows that himself, so of course he'll take his time to say the L-word. He just wants to know if you'll last longer than the others before making any statement about his own feelings. After all, maybe you're just some kind of new shiny trinket that he'll get bored of ? But once he realized that you were sticking in his mind longer than usual, he'll panic first, than he'll accept it, and only after that, he'll say it.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

Duke is not really upfront about his jealousy: he trusts you and he knows that he's definitely taking all of the place you have in your heart, because you can be sure that he's constantly making sure to occupy your mind. He'll just get more judgmental, cold and defensive toward the person he's jealous of, if they take too much of your time or try to flirt with you. If anything, he'll probably make some very sarcastic comments toward this person. He really wants them to understand that he is the boyfriend, and nobody else will.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

The man definitely enjoys kissing your cheeks, your forehead and your chin. He keeps more romantic kisses for when you two are alone together and he can really get the time to be with you, without being constantly distracted. The way he kisses you also depends of his mood. Sometimes he'll give you endeared, affectionate kisses. And sometimes, he'll tease you by giving very light, yet very flirty little kisses everywhere on your face, just to see you blushing and smiling like an idiot. He likes to see the way you react to his teasing.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

When you two first started to know each others, you were honestly terrified to the idea of every leaving Duke alone with a kid. But life never really goes as planned, and you ended up discovering that he was surprisingly a good caretaker. Not the best in the whole world, but he was better than what you had pictured: he's able to distract kids and keep them entertained with jests and magic tricks, and his mischief seems to really please them. They like his fun and light demeanor, and he likes being the attention's center.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Duke has a very well-oiled morning routine. He likes to take care of himself when he wakes up, I mean he's a magician, an escape artist, he needs to stay healthy for his tricks, doesn't he? It was kinda unexpected for you to see him doing warm-ups just after going out of bed, but eventually, you ended up getting used to it. You eventually get absolutely unbothered about it, going out of bed and preparing breakfast while you wait for him to join you after his exercises.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

The more energy Duke spends through the day, the faster he'll stop teasing you in the night before going to bed. Because no: you are not safe from his teasing, even after a whole day of activities. If his day was boring, prepare. You'll have to deal with all energy remaining that he didn't use. He'll tease you, tickle you, flirt with you to an indecent amount. You just won't get rid of him until he finally decides to sleep. On the contrary, if his day was exhausting, you'll ultimately experience peace, because he'll straight up fall onto his mattress and fall asleep faster than anyone else.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Duke is not particularly focused on the past. He'll make efforts to talk about it more once you get to know each others and start getting more intimate, but really, he doesn't see the importance of talking about his past life. That is, unless you talk about his stage performances. It's pretty much the part he talks about the most, he loves to tell the tales of his incredible success, probably exaggerating it a bit in the process, but it's really light-hearted. So he's pretty opened, you just have to ask questions because he won't bring the topic on the table. The only thing he will never share about himself is how he does his tricks. A good magician never reveals his secrets!

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Surprisingly, Duke is not as hot-tempered as he can look from the outside. Sure, he can be quite intense to deal with, but he also knows very well how to keep his own emotions in check, and stay calm and collected no matter what. If someone try to anger him, the best reaction they will get out of him will probably be light annoyance. He'll only express his anger if he trusts you: he doesn't want anyone and everyone to know when and how he feels impacted by something.

Duke doesn't exactly have the biggest attention span you've ever seen. Expect him to forget stuffs, even stuffs about you. He doesn't do it on purpose, it's just... sometimes you say something about you, and the second after, the information have disappeared from his brain. He'll definitely try his best to take note of the most important things (and despite some fails, he successes for the biggest part!), but when it comes to tiny, little details, you'll have to repeat about them a few times before he registers the information.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Schemes. Mischievous plans. Wrongdoings flawlessly executed. You probably stole food from the kitchens. Or broke in some students' bedrooms. Yeah, the longer this relationship goes, the more the two of you achieve unharmful, yet still prohibited deeds. Duke can't help but love this feeling of having you by his side in his fun schemes. If his plan makes you smile or laugh, he'll straight up ascend. Once you started to get involved in his life, making you glad with his adventures became a new sort of goal for him to achieve. A success is never really a success if you didn't find the trip fun. He can't help but love the rush of adrenaline he gets when committing his little deeds with you, and seeing you entertained by them make his heart ache with affection. If you looked very, very closely, you could even see him blush a tiny bit from it. He loves having you as his partner... in crime.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Oh wow now. Are we seriously talking about this? Duke can't even keep up with his own safety. This man has very little to no self-preservation. Of course the idea of seeing you in pain or seriously injured concerns him. But also... He's very bad at stopping it from happening. He does his best by staying by your side, and occasionally stopping you from doing something extremely stupid, but most of the time his definition of protection is to keep bad people away from you by giving them death stares whenever he gets the occasion. He doesn't want to limit your freedom, even if sometimes your ideas can be a bit risky. But without stakes, where is the fun, right ? That's also because he deeply cares about his own freedom, and can't stand people trying to rip it away from him. Don't try to protect him by stopping him from doing what he wants: he'll absolutely hate it. Instead, try to expose logical arguments on Why This Is A Bad Idea. And stay by his side, support him when he needs it. Make him feel like he can rely on you. That's all he needs.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Duke is the walking definition of "living for the cameras". He loves making his tiniest move extra-dramatic, just to entertain himself and his friends. So you can be absolutely certain that he will try to impress you every chance he gets. There were occurrences of him over-doing it, even. Dates dusted with so much sparkles that it almost hurt your eyes. But it's always well-intentioned: he really wants to let you know how madly he's in love with you. In the same time, if Duke puts a lot of efforts in special occasions, he tends to forget a lot about everyday tasks, and gets distracted easily. So, you have to remind him about those a good couple of times. But he really tries his best.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

It is not a secret to anyone that Duke likes to try new experiences. Some of them are funny. Some of them are dumb. Some of them are... weird. Really weird. They can involve tasting terrible food, going to odd places, touching ominous things... Basically, anything that looks uncanny and a bit mysterious. In the best cases, it often turns out gross. The food is probably the worst part.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

When you're a performer, the way you present yourself is a key point. This also applies to Duke. This man can't stand the idea of not looking eye-catching at all time of the day and night. If he appreciates you and you show him that he can trust you on being honest about his looks, he'll ask for your opinion absolutely every morning, to know if the way he's presenting is great. Please compliment him. Tell him he's shining bright like a star. His heart will probably skip a beat if you tell him that.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Once again, Duke is extremely independent. He doesn't feel like he needs anyone to feel complete. It does bring something more to his life, something he loves to experience everyday with you, but he wouldn't feel incomplete. More like bored, probably. You're so much fun to be around, and you always make his heart beat a little faster, it's entertaining. Without you, things aren't missing, but they definitely seem more flat.

If someone introduced you to the Misfits, it would probably be Duke. He saw you going around and you caught his attention? He'll straight up come to you the first chance he gets, and then present you to his friends. He can't help it: he just wants to show them the cool new human being he found in the wild.

As I said before, Duke doesn't like anyone (or anything) that restricts his freedom. If a rule sounds dumb to him, he'll disobey. If someone tries to stop him from doing something without an explicit and logical reason, he'll try to do it even harder. More generally, people who seem boring or "don't know how to have fun" (comprehend: aren't getting themselves in trouble all the time just for the sake of attention) are annoying to him.

Duke. Can't. Sleep. If he doesn't pass out from exhaustion. The amount of energy in his body on a daily basis should be illegal. Please cuddle this boy, he is so touch starved, he’ll melt into a puddle once your arms are around him.

I think he definitely wants a partner, but he may be hesitant about children, he’s still so young, and Middle-Earth is so chaotic, to him it almost feels cruel to subject a child to that uncertainty.

Elrond can clean, but he cannot cook, no matter how many times he’s tried to learn he just doesn’t have the skills necessary.

He’d do it face to face, and probably be crying the whole time. He cares so deeply and the idea that he has to hurt someone, hurts him.

He wants to find the love of his life, someone to bounce ideas off of, and share his journeys with. He also wants someone so Durin and Disa will stop trying to set him up.

I think if Elrond fell in love it would be a love at first sight, married within months type of deal, he knows his heart, and trusts in its decisions.

Have you seen him???? Gentlest soul alive, he has the biggest heart, and he treats his partner like they’re made of glass. Everything about them is so precious he can’t help but feel he needs to be gentle with them.

He’s a hugger, he wasn’t at first, but after he became friends with Durin, it was all downhill from there.

Hugging Elrond is like biting into freshly baked bread, like the sun on your face, and the feeling of being home after a long day. He just radiates comfort.

Oh, so fast. So, so, fast, he’s fighting to keep from saying it the moment you compliment him on something meaningful to him. Ex: A speech, his bonds with his friends, his kindness.

Elrond is not a jealous person, he knows your heart is his, and his is yours.

That being said, he does get a bit insecure, and when he does he’ll break out the clinginess. He’s sticking by your side, pressing a kiss to your temple, and praising you to all who can hear.

Elrond tastes like sun warmed honey, pure sunlight, and clear water, when he kisses you, it’s all encompassing, in the best way possible, it leave you breathless and giggly. He likes kissing your temple, forehead, lips, and nose.

He enjoys being kissed on the lips, neck, cheeks and nose.

He likes children to an extent. He acknowledges they are wondrous creations, and he loves how inquisitive they are, but there are a lot of times where they just plain get in his way.

Elrond rises early, he has to be up around the same time the High-King is. He likes eating breakfast with you and watching the sun fully rise. but will understand if you want to sleep in instead.

Elrond likes to go to bed early since he wakes up so early. He’ll typically read a chapter of a book then he likes to fall asleep as you both discuss your day. Something about falling asleep to your voice always ensures he has pleasant dreams.

Elrond is very open with things that are important to him, and if asked he’ll give you an answer about almost anything, but things of a more serious or sad nature he tends to hold close to his chest. It may take some time for him to be comfortable talking about them with you.

Elrond is a saint, unless he’s working. Then he has the shortest fuse you’ve ever seen.

He’s very protective, you’re so precious to him, he doesn’t know what he’d do if you were hurt. He’s not a warrior like Gal, but he isn’t without skills. In a verbal battle though???? He really enjoys the way you verbally protect him, especially if you’re of a higher rank. It makes his heart flutter when you speak highly of him, or defend his name.

Before he’s courting you, you think he might actually dislike you with how often he bails on meetings/activities. After he begins courting you though, you realize just how busy he is. He's not so used to PDA, but he still tries. He likes to hold hands and when you rest your head on his shoulder.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

He's such a good friend. He helps you with your homework and would fight anyone making fun of you. The friendship probably started because you didn't act differently after knowing who is his father.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

He loves cuddles! Having you in his arms makes him feel so relaxed. If you were both in Hufflepuff, he would sit with you in the couch and cuddle as you talk about your day.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?

He's tired. He wants the war to end, so you can be together. I think he would like to live in the countryside, so you can look at the stars together and stuff. He's terrible at cooking, but he really likes cleaning the house.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

If you broke up, it would be due to insecurity or to your own safety. Even though he's not in the Order, he's still associated with it, and if he feels he can't protect you, the best option in his head is to stay away from you.

But you'll break up eventually, he dies in HBP.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Since he's a minor, i'll just put his opinion about it.

I'll be honest, he doesn't care about marriage. You're already together, what's the point?

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Such a soft boy. The last thing he wants is to hurt you, so he is always gentle physically. Emotionally, sometimes he can be a bit insensitive because there are a lot of emotions he doesn't really understand. But it's not on purpose.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

He really likes hugging and also being hugged. Wyatt prefers when you hug first, so he can imitate your moves. His head goes "Oh, this feels nice. I'll do the same so they can feel this way as well".

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

I think he said "I love you" when you were still just friends. He's aware that romantic love is not the only type of love, because he also loves his pet and his dad. That's why he felt cool when saying this so early.

I imagine him saying that after you do something for him, like helping him with some wounds, and he goes "I love you so much, thanks" and doesn't notice you getting as red as the Gryffindor uniforms.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they're jealous?)

He's usually really chill, but he can't help but get a little jealous when you do something you usually do together with someone else. He would go to the Shrieking Shack (he found out the passage in his 2nd year) to calm down and then just forget about it.

He really trusts you, it's just his insecurities getting on his way.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

He would kiss you so softly that you could think a butterfly just landed on your face. He loves kissing your hands (what a gentleman), and even though he's kinda short (he's 1,62 m/ 5'3 ft), he likes kissing your forehead.

As you can see in the image, he has a scar on his nose. His heart would melt if you kissed him there.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

He's scared of children. Ok, not exactly. He's scared of how fragile they are, and how any sudden move can make them cry. Unless someone else is in the same room, he won't even get near children.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Mornings are spent really calmly. You would have breakfast at the Great Hall together (If you weren't in the same house, he'd just sit next to you like it's the most normal thing in the world), but you wouldn't chat so much because he's not really able to talk in the morning.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

That's the time you usually cuddle. When the Common Room is empty, he's much more affectionate. I think he'd also like to read for you :) He would pick a book you like and read it out loud (not so loud, it's late), making different tones for each character and stuff.

BONUS: If you're in Slytherin and you don't want to say a bigoted password, he would camp with you in the Room of Requirement ("omg how did he find so many secret places" hufflepuffs are good finders, I don't make the rules).

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

His dad taught him that revealing too much at once can cause trouble, so he waits until he's a 100% sure he can trust you. He usually drops information once in a while, like when a conversation is related to some topic about him.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

C'mon, he's a Hufflepuff. Patience is his second name. His default face makes him look like he's mad all the time, but when he's with you, the only face he makes is a soft, tired smile (like the image). When you do something reckless, he may raise his voice a little. But that's because he's worried, not angry.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

This guy has elephant's memory. He remembers EVERYTHING about you. But that includes your favorite type of tea, as well as that time in the 2nd year when you tripped on his shoes and said "thank you".

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

His favorite memory would be when he asked you to the Yule Ball. Your first answer was hugging him and he was so confused, and blushing. He went like "is this a yes?", you went "you bet", and he felt he would melt. The fact you started dating for real after the Ball makes this moment more precious to him.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Him? Mad-Eye Moody's son? Oh, my friend, the only one who knows more about security than Wyatt is his father. The only thing he won't do for you is use the Unforgivable Curses, but only because he doesn't know how to cast it.

About being protected, he feels loved when you do it for him. But if you hurt yourself while doing it, he'd feel guilty.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

At first, he wouldn't know how to do it. You are the first one he ever dated. But when he learns more about relationships, he decides to give you things that made him think about you. For example, if a book's synopse makes him remember you, he would buy it for you. Or a pretty rock, he likes rocks. And writing love letters.

And he would NEVER forget a special date! Your birthday, your parents' birthday, all of it.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

He has a huge difficulty in accepting a praise. His mind can't process it, even when he recognizes he deserves it.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

He just doesn't like too wrinkled clothes. Besides that, he doesn't really care about looks.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Yes. Since you entered his life, he simply can't imagine living without you anymore.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

He has a pet snake. It's a white snake named Scamander (in my native language, a snake's scale is "escama", it's kinda similar to Scamander). When he's reading or doing homework, she curls on his neck like a scarf.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn't like, either in general or in a partner?)

He couldn't be with someone that's used to lie. He values honesty the most in a relationship of any kind. And after knowing so much about death eaters, a blood purist have no place in his life.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

After the events of Goblet of Fire, he tends to sleep badly, because of the nightmares with Barty Crouch Jr. Or he doesn't sleep at all.

Sam is so affectionate like who says the homies can’t hold hands or cuddle? He’s the only reason Sebastian isn’t completely touch starved. Literal golden retriever boy, shows affection by laying all over his friends and loved ones. He also will pick up any cool rocks or shells he finds to bring them to his partner. Always brings wildflowers rather than a purchased bouquet.

Sam decides he’s friends with someone and then you’re friends. He is the extrovert adopter of introverts. He collects them like Pokémon. He’s the kinda guy who’s easy going and can talk to anyone. He makes a deeply loyal friend and is always on deck when you need cheering up.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Sam is super into cuddling but he’s a little wiggly and a little chatty. He’s got a lot of energy that makes him unable to sit still for lots of cuddling. (Unless you like to be bounced as he shakes his leg lol). But his favorite thing is to cuddle while he plays video games and you do your own activity.
