Just kind of curious and wondered if we have or could there have been any dinosaurs that were omnivores? We have fossils of true canivores that ate meat and herbivores that ate plants but were there any dinos that were sort of like the bears and raccoons of their time that ate both meat and plants and/or just whatever they came across?
tons were!!! first off, very few things are hypercarnivores or hyperherbivores - most animals are in the spectrum, and supplement their diets (this is why dogs can have a little plant matter as a treat but cats are a no go - cats are complete predators, dogs just a smidge less so). We see lots of herbivores today eating carcasses, for example. So we can assume most dinosaurs were omnivorous in some capacity
then, beyond that, we have some dinosaurs that make the most sense as omnivores - the Oviraptorosaurs and Troodontids, for one, but also possibly others like Ornithomimosaurs and Pachycephalosaurs! We're always learning new things. there's a whole growing field where we determine diet from isotopes, and that may yet reveal more omnivores!

Only on tumblr dot com can “leftists” who claim to care about minorities viciously attack users for simply bringing up veganism in any capacity, ignore their lived experiences and identities, and then scream that they are racist.
Anti-vegans literally embody right-wing reactionary actions and talking points as soon as veganism or animal rights is brought up in any capacity.
Even the “leftists”.
You guys aren’t cute or original or funny. You are literally doing damage to a movement whose goal is to reduce harm as much and as practically as possible.

As I said in my last beastars post, humans have 2 main advantages over the animal citizens which are endurance (the ability to sweat a lot) and weakened senses (use their senses against them), but I now realize that's not what would make me even be considered a threat. It's my diet that would make me be considered a threat
Yeah, my mouth will water a little if I smell grilled meat but I won't go out of control like Legoshi or any of the other carnivores. But does that mean some of the herbivores will be weary of me? I do possess the strength to overpower the small ones like squirrels and rabbits, maybe with some difficulty on the latter just gotta keep it to a fist fight with no knives. I could possibly beat the larger ones, albeit with a lot of preparations and a weapon or two but would that be enough to make me be "dangerous"? Or will my ability to live without meat at all, with no withdrawals, make me seem like the ideal omnivore to hang out with? Will I even be considered an omnivore or more like a herbivore?
I wish omnivores were more explored in Beastars, it would be very interesting to see some kind of side plot of there being a serial killer on the loose but no one can figure out what carnivore did it. And in the end, it's revealed to be an omnivore and that they still possess sanity which is why they have not been caught. That apparently, omnivores have a stronger hold on their instincts or rather they have less of an instinctual urge to go savage after not eating meat, even tho they just consumed so much of it before

Stupid pet peeve
But I hate when people say humans are 'mostly' omnivores.
Vegans choose to not eat animals, they can physically digest it though because we're all omnivores.
Feeding a pig meat doesn't make it a carnivore.
