It's that special time once again, to show your heart and spread the love to all you care for~💕💝💕🤗And this year, I would like to take opportunity to dedicate my annual Valentine to my newest OTP, Smiling Critter DogDay x my OC, DeerDelight~🐶☀️💘🦋🦌 I was thinking what songs would fit their ship, and one that stood out to me the most, was one I've listened to ever since I finished college, back in 2008 - 'Hikaru Michi' a.k.a 'The Shining Road', which is the second closing theme to the well-known anime, Sonic X~🎶I remember seeing a music video years ago with tender moments between Sonic and Amy Rose from the show, and that was when inspiration struck~💡💗✍️ I decided to draw DogDay and DeerDelight in the same emotional reunion with Sonic and Amy, where he promised he would never leave her ;w; But instead of a rose, I chose forget-me-nots for DogDay to give to DeerDelight. The reason, is the meaning behind them - a symbol of true love and devotion, declaring love to another and representing a promise that you will always remember them~💝 Forget-me-nots are also considered a symbol of fidelity (loyalty) and faithfulness~🫶🏻 And this is what is happening between the two adorable critters right now. With DogDay declaring his love to DeerDelight (something she had always secretly hoped and wished for~🌟🙏🏻) and vowing that he will never ever forget her, and will always be with her by her side, no matter what...~🥹To which DeerDelight emotionally yet happily accepts, as they seal their love with a tender kiss and embrace~🐶☀️💕🦋🦌

To give the wholesome moment between DogDay and DeerDelight more feeling, I decided to add the last three sentences of the last verse of the song, both in Japanese and English, along with adding details of the shadowing and falling tears, which I have to say I'm really proud of~👍🏻😊✨ ‘Sigh...~’💕😌I am ever so pleased of how this precious piece turned out, just the way I imagined it to be and I really enjoyed working on it too~💓🥰 And a very💗💘💝~Happy Valentine’s Day 2024~💝💘💗to you too, my lovelies~! =^o^=🫂Hope you all like as well, have a lovely day and spread the love~!💞🫶🏻💕😍💕🫶🏻💞xoxo.

Sasuke angrily shoved the letter in his pocket. Idiot Naruto, idiot Kakashi, he thought. They had no need to meddle in his affairs.

Sasuke had rented a small apartment upon his return to Konoha and Naruto had come to visit him in the morning. They had not seen each other since the day after the Uzumaki's wedding because he and Hinata had gone on their honeymoon. They had returned the day before and Naruto had decided to visit his old friend, as he had told Sasuke when he opened the door to his apartment. After a while, Naruto noticed a letter lying on the coffee table in the living room.

“What is this ?” He asked taking the letter.

Sasuke opened his eyes wide. It was the letter he wrote to Sakura on his redemption journey. He had written to her that he loved her and that he wanted her to leave with him. It had been easier for him to write down his feelings than to tell her, even if he had never been the type to write declarations of love. But he had never had the courage to send her the letter. Of course, Naruto had to see it. He did not dare give it to Sakura, so it was not for Naruto to read it.

“Give me that !”

“For who is this letter for ? Is it for Sakura-chan ?”

Sasuke blushed.

“Is this a love letter for Sakura-chan ?”

Sasuke blushed even more and Naruto grinned from ear to ear. Sasuke knew that look. It was the same one he had when they were genins and he tried to annoy him. Even if he was married and would be the next Hokage, sometime Sasuke felt like he was still the twelve-year-old child he had been. Naruto was about to unfold the letter. Sasuke lunged at him, but the blond narrowly avoided him.

“Naruto,” Sasuke raged.

He was no longer blushing because of the embarrassment, he was angry.

“Come on Sasuke, let me help you. I can tell you if your letter is not too cutesy.”

Sasuke tried to grab it, but Naruto dodged him again before running out the window. The Uchiha followed him. It was out of the question for him to let him get away with it. They chased one another in the streets of Konoha, in front of the stunned gaze of certain passers-by and indifferent of others accustomed to the behavior of the two friends. They ended fighting on the village bridge, Sasuke wanting to get his letter back and Naruto refusing to give it to him. Both had not noticed that Kakashi was watching them. They ended up falling in the water. Kakashi picked up the letter that had fallen on the ground and opened it. He laughed lightly as he read it.

“Well Sasuke, I didn't know you wrote so well.”

Sasuke was going home. He was soaked and irritated, but at least he got his letter back. He took it out of his pocket and looked at it once again. It was crumpled but at least Naruto had not been able to read it. But it upset him that Kakashi did.

“Sasuke-kun !”

He looked up and saw Sakura coming towards him. She frowned at his state.

“What happened to you ?”

“Naruto,” he answered simply.

Sakura nodded, not being surprised. Sasuke glanced at the letter. It was now or never. He shyly handed it to her.

“I wrote this for you.”

Sakura blushed and took it. She unfolded it and began to read it. She frowned and Sasuke felt his heart beat faster. Was she going to deny his feelings ? Would she refuse to leave with him ? He thought that everything was going well between them. But maybe he should have thought more about it. He asked her to leave her family, her job, her friends to follow him. What was he thinking ?

“Sasuke-kun.”

He held his breath for a few seconds.

“I can't read it.”

She gave the letter back to him and he looked at it. It was stained and in places the ink had leaked because of the water. It was completely unreadable. Kakashi could not read it either. He had laughed at him, Sasuke thought, annoyed.

“What did you write to me ?”

“I'll tell you later. Let's go have dinner at that new restaurant you wanted to go to.”

Sakura smiled and nodded. He took her hand and they walked towards the restaurant. It did not matter if she had not read the letter, Sasuke thought. It was now time for him to confess his feelings to her and this time he would tell her in person.

After seeing your detention pic it was in my brain for like a week then I went on a deep dive when i found out it was your OCs and there were comics. I love them but I'm especially obsessed that johnny used to just be Some Guy in the background then he took over and became a protagonist. Caro's journey to Gender has given me personally plenty to think about. Can't wait to see where the story goes. xoxo

I LOVE that you love that he was Just Some Guy (TBF he still kinda is.) the origins on John and Caro for those who don’t know, are complicated in the sense I wanted some other ocs to smoosh faces besides my main otp at the time, and I am bad at making up new people. So I took a NPC from my comic Seemingly Dark who shows up ONE TIME and put him together with the sunshine kid I’d made for an entirely dif project (fun fact, Mil-Liminal was not intended to be in the same universe, Caro wasn’t even meant to be in SD at all!) something to me at the time thought putting the Big Grouchy Punk Man with the Tiny Spastic Gremlin would be great. I have this habit of not planning or scripting SD and just sorta go with it, the entire chapter where they go on a walk, and end up at johns place, AND Caro being a doorway to the Other Side was all improv while spending 8 hours in the Boston Public Library waiting for a plane.

Look at them now! Anyway thank you dear anon, I’m really glad you found my stuff and took the time to check it out! Also, Caro gave me something to think about as well, they are the reason I have started to explore my own identity more and gotten more courage to be myself and I think that’s pretty neat.

Well, this was my first year dong fanfiction so following my word count (without counting three comms of 5k words that i didnt upload) i write 65, 993 words this year!!! yippy!!

6. To my surprise, that will be "As we fall (You will be part of me)" my poem collection that i have a little abandoned (but i will be back tho heheheh :3)

7. Well tbh, with a few exceptions, i almost never use song lyrics as titles so for now i don't an especial artist that i use the most (but i predict that one will be surely Breaking Benjamin or Ethel Cain surely)

16. Taking out the obvious ones like Dead dove, incest, etc. I'm proud that tag is "Catholic imagery" and "Daddy issues"

19. I can say jakelo? nah, just kidding...I think bessides my otp, im interested in explore more Quaritch's charcter in different angles and obviously i will do it along with Lo'ak (and maybe Taliya bc i just like imagine Q with someone he can't stand.)

29.I have two coming from my two first works ever, and i cant chose just one so here it is:

The first one comes from the fourth chapter of A Father's child (my first fanfic, pls dont read it, is bad compared to my other works.), and i hold it close to my heart bc summarizes one of the main reasons why im so fixated in Lo'ak and Jake's relathionship, how difficult and fuck up it is, where there is intense amount of love but also a lot of past, guilt, and ghosts:

“I know that I’m a failure to you…” Lo’ak says with a broken voice, a single tear falls from his eye. “But is a lot of begging to look at me? Not as Toruk makto’s soldier or the kid that you were once time ago but as your son, Father….” More tears fall through his face, his voice cracking. “I’m your son, an imperfect one.”

 Jake thinks that statement it’s a cruel joke. Every time that he sees Lo’ak since his birth, the first sentence that come always to Jake’s mind is My child. The single one from his children of blood that came to this world with five fingers and eyebrows, the one who is stubborn and capable of jump to the danger without think twice, just like Jake.

"Neteyam is his pride, Kiri his empathy and Tuk his kindness. Lo’ak is the child that could have been born just from Jake’s rib. Jake Sully’s child in appearance, blood and heart.

Jake is scared for him because of that, the last thing that he desires for his boy is the same road and mistakes.

Ending with stained hands and uncountable sins. That simple thought makes Jake want to eat Lo'ak to make him reborn without the curse of being like Jake Sully."

The second one is from the sixth chapter of Look at me (on the horns of a dilemma), this one is mortly bc i suffered writing this with my impostor sindrome hitting me in my guts while my lack of english was not helping me at all, writing something more ambicious than i did before, and im proud that atleast i made to not gave up in it in the process.

"“After days spent doubtful and afraid, Fabian made the decision to free his little brother from Christian’s claws. So, in the dead of night when the eldest boy returned to the house, Fabian mustered the courage to sneak into his brother’s room and steal the shed’s key. When he managed to grab the keys without making noise, he didn't waste any time and ran to the shed so fast his legs ached. He opened the door with trembling hands, but what he was met with was not something he recognized as his brother.”

Lo’ak doesn’t want to feel like he’s walking in a tightrope anymore. He doesn’t want to feel like every breath he takes is a step closer to falling into a void, never to see the sun again. Lo’ak wants to be capable of at least knowing what he really wants for his future, something that is not swimming.

“A chained wolf-beast was what he saw. A beast with a big mouth that contained deadly, stained fangs. A beast with claws that appeared larger than Fabian’s head. It began to growl, which let out a putrid scent from its mouth. The boy froze in front of the thing that he once called a child, staring into its eyes. Dark, foggy-red orbs replacing the warm amber, erasing any trace of innocence, leaving only the dreadful ferocity. Fabian would have begun to cry if not for the sudden sound of the door closing. His heart stopped when he tried to open it and found out that it was locked. He started to scream, begging to be let out. This seemed to irritate the beast behind him, its growls getting louder with every cry. He heard Christian’s voice through the other side of the door, ‘This is what happens when you don’t listen’.”

Lo’ak is aware that the people around him would not even stand him being their sight if they knew about his forbidden lust and he understands why.

“No matter how Fabian begged or cried or screamed, Christian, the perfect son and brother, left his little brother trapped with a monster that, with the sunrise, would wake up as a kid again. A kid that would wake up with blood coating his skin and a new corpse that wasn’t from a sheep.”

But the Sully's middle child can’t stop thinking about his younger self. If the kid that Lo’ak was could see him in the present, what would his impression be?"

top 10 otps?

Now THIS is MY kinda ask! It took me a full day to think about this ask because I wanted to answer it as thoroughly as possible, but now that my writer's block has cleared up, it's time to answer this one.

My Top Ten Ships (in no particular order)

John Murphy and Emori kom Spacekru ( The 100 )

The ultimate rags to riches love story. These two went from having absolutely nothing, fighting tooth and nail for just the smallest scrap to get by to living in a huge castle on a moon. You can't get better than that!

Without a doubt the most passionate and intimate couple in the series. That scene where they share each other's very souls? Epic!

What makes this romance such a strong favourite for me is how it surprised us all. I don't think anyone was betting on John Murphy of all characters to end up in the show's most enduring love story.

Lois Lane and Clark Kent ( Superman )

If you have Lois and Clark as a ship, you're never starving because their love story has been adapted to practically every form of media out there. Comics, Radio, TV shows, Movies, Books, Animation, Video Games, you name it, they got it. It's a buffet!

Their staying power as a couple is incredible. 80+ years later, and people STILL get goosebumps whenever they meet for the first time in any new Superman continuity. To have the ability to take people's breath away like that is unbelievably powerful.

The way they inspire each other to reach new heights, to beat the odds, and to take challenges head on is eternally rewarding to see. They are the definition of power couple.

The Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler ( Doctor Who )

These two right here are at the root of my entire blog because my newfound obsession with Doctor Who was perfectly timed with me starting this blog. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for them, so they'll always occupy a special place on here.

Every time I look at them, they just radiate happiness and comfort. They're each other's beacon of hope in the dire of situations. All of time and space is a much more beautiful place thanks to them!

What will always make me emotional about these two is how they saw something beautiful in each other, and bit by bit, they gave each other the courage to show it off to the rest of the world.

D'Artagnan and Constance D'Artagnan nee Bonacieux ( The Musketeers )

Speaking of going back in time, let's go back to 17th Century France where we meet my next ship, D'Artagnan and Constance from The Musketeers, my favourite period drama romance.

What I love the most about them is how they provide each other the one thing that's been missing in their lives. D'Artagnan liberates Constance from a life of boredom, emboldening her heart that's been yearning for adventure. Constance becomes D'Artagnan's sanctuary, becoming his home after losing his own.

In this version of the story, Constance is able to defy her fate and live, so we're able to see their relationship grow, and by the end of it, they become a formidable team.

Niles Crane and Daphne Moon ( Frasier )

If there was an award for the best sitcom romance, this one would take home the big prize, because Niles and Daphne are a showstopper.

What makes them so emotionally resonant for me is how, when they first meet, they both are a little insecure and lonely in their own way. Their combined happiness and newfound confidence when they're finally able to be together is so worth the wait!

Then, of course, there's the sublime modern fairy tale aspect to their story. It's a bit like Cinderella in a lot of ways!

Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese ( The Terminator )

I love 80's action movies, I love sci-fi, I love time travel stories, and I love romance, so Sarah and Kyle's romance is a winning combination for me.

The Terminator, for the most part, is a movie that's fairly bleak, and that's why Sarah and Kyle's romance with each other is such a standout. It's the one string of hope that eventually leads to humanity's victory over the machines.

I'm a huge sucker for the bodyguard crush trope, too, so it makes this ship tremendously appealing. What makes it even better is that halfway through the movie, they trade places, and it's her protecting him.

Father Andrew Kiernan and Frankie Paige ( Stigmata )

Now for something from my more obscure collection of obsessions: Stigmata. Still in the vein of talking about tropes, this ship's all about having some fun with the Hot Priest trope. Forbidden love at its finest, am I right?

What draws me into this dynamic and into this story is its subtlety. It doesn't hit you over the head with it, which makes every intimate touch and moment they have hit like a train off its rails whenever they occur throughout the movie's runtime.

Now this is just my personal take on the ending of the movie(it has an open ending), but I like to think that Andrew eventually retires being a priest because he can't fight his feelings for Frankie, and they go off to be together.

Talon Spears and Garret Spears ( The Outpost )

This was the little ship that could because I thought for sure the series would get cancelled and left on an unresolved cliffhanger due to the utter lack of promotional material it received from The CW, but it managed to make it to four seasons and finished on a satisfactory, conclusive note.

And that endurance to make it to the end is definitely instilled in these two, because they never stopped fighting for each other, protecting their realm with everything they had.

Through compassion, bravery, and resourcefulness, they won the hearts of the people, becoming their champions. They're truly deserving of their royal titles.

Cyclops and Rogue ( X-Men Evolution )

When you think couples from the X-Men franchise, your mind usually goes to the regular suspects: Scott x Jean, Anna Marie x Remy, but this series will have you thinking twice on that front because of this unexpected surprise.

In this series, Cyclops and Rogue work so well off of each other. They're a walking contradiction because despite having a lot of common ground with each other, their personalities couldn't be more different. That creates a perfect storm of opposites attract + birds of a feather.

One day soon, I hope to see a continuation of this version of the X-Men, because it would mean I would be able to see more of these two.

Commander Nate Shepard and Jack ( Mass Effect )

This is a seemingly new addition onto my blog, but it really isn't, because I've been a fan of Mass Effect since 2012. Back in the day, I wasn't able to capture video footage of my custom Shepard with Jack because I'm a console player, but with the PS4 being able to record gameplay footage, now I can! It feels so much more personal this way instead of using the default Shepard, you know?

I feel like this portion of this massive list needs its own segment, because I have so much more to say about them(it involves a lot of explaining about how I've developed my Shepard's backstory and why it aligns so perfectly with Jack's), but that wouldn't be fair to the rest who're on this list.

So I'll just say this romance is a beautiful showcase of how someone can enter in your life, offer an escape when you think there's no way out, and give you the chance to rehabilitate and recover just when you least expect it.

Bilbo gave him a bitter smirk that seemed to counteract the fondness oozing from his hazel eyes.

Fun concept:

A character who requires physical touch to maintain their health except they're in a shitty situation where they're touch-starved and trying so hard to hide how much it's literally killing them until the only person to clue in is their mortal enemy who is all "die like this? I think the fuck NOT!" and now has to cuddle them back to health.

Bonus points if they're more enemies by necessity than desire and it turns into enemies to lovers.

i imagine this would start playing after hanan's dad sends her off ahead of her sister and another warrior from clan lavellan. hanan almost treats going to the conclave as an easy little trip that she could go on by herself. the result of the conclave is both a blessing and a curse; she loses her sister and gains immense responsibilities and the looming fear that her clan could be harmed because of a mistake she makes, but she gains the most agency she would want and an unexpected love is able to flourish despite the circumstances.

A - Ships that you currently like a lot. (They don’t have to be OTPs because not everyone has OTPs.) Friendships, pairings, threesomes, etc. are allowed.

Jaylos and Malvie will always be my favorite romantic pairings. No other coupling in any other fandom has ever compared. They are my loves 💕

Friendship-wise, I’m writing some Jal banter right now that’s helping me out of my writing slump. I seriously love them being little shits to each other. They’re the most fun pairing to write.

K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

I think Descendants really missed out on the fantastic development arc that should have existed for Carlos De Vil, but I love bringing it out when I write my fics. The abuse he endured with Cruella made him strong, and the way he used his brains and pursued his studies to find a way out is courageous and admirable. That alone gave his character so much potential on the Isle, and especially when he had the chance to grow in Auradon. 

There’s a little glimpse of what he becomes in the movies, because Cameron really took his moments on screen to shine, but the strong, smart, snarky Carlos that’s comfortable in his own skin and growing in his own confidence is what we deserved and what we were denied in Descendants.

Z - Just ramble about something fan-related, go go go! (Prompts optional but encouraged.)

My brain has been spinning with the CUTEST Jaylos idea I got from another fandom, where Jay the jock would spot Carlos at a party and just go right for him, hitting on him straight away and trying to hook up with him. And while Carlos is usually not that type, he can’t deny his attraction to Jay, and just says “Fuck, I kind of do,” when Jay asks him if he wants to make out. But Carlos quickly realizes what a player Jay is, and tries to avoid him after the party. 

And Jay should be ok with that, since he’s only into one-time hookups anyway, but instead he finds himself searching for white curls in the hallways, and getting distracted by laughs that sound like Carlos’ when he’s supposed to be flirting. So he finally decides to pursue Carlos again, and after a few tries they end up hooking up again. And after that it kind of becomes a regular thing, because Jay gets his number and texts him for secret meet-ups to make out all over campus and even in his room sometimes. They usually end up chatting or grabbing coffee or food after, and even though Jay’s never done this with any of his other hookups, he still assumes this is just a casual thing.

Until Jay gets drunk with a few friends, and notices on Snapchat that Carlos is out to dinner nearby with his friend Evie and decides to crash their dinner. He’s so drunk after that Carlos ends up having to walk him back to his room and get him to bed, and Jay wakes up to a nice note from Carlos and aspirin and water on his nightstand.

Jay feels awful that Carlos had to take care of him, since that’s obviously not how their arrangement is supposed to work, so he calls to apologize, hoping he didn’t ruin things by being needy. When he explains that to Carlos, he suddenly gets angry and tells Jay to lose his number and hangs up on him. Jay is confused as to what happened, so he talks to his friend Mal, who enlightens Jay to the idea that he might have actually been sort of dating Carlos, which he’s never done with anyone before. When Jay realizes his mistake, and that he actually does like Carlos and wants to try dating him, he tries to call Carlos to tell him. But Carlos has blocked him. Luckily he has Evie’s number and he convinces her to hear him out, and once she understands how stupid they’re both being she tells Jay where Carlos will be studying tomorrow on campus with her, and that she’ll run late so they have time to talk.

When Jay arrives and Carlos sees him the next day, Carlos immediately tries to flee, so Jay hurries into his apology and explanation, begging Carlos to give him a chance. When Carlos learns how new the actual concept of dating is to Jay, he finally relents and agrees to give it a shot with him. Cue Happy Ending and kiss🥰

Who is the most affectionate? I think they're both pretty equal affection wise. Both of them definitely do have baggage re: affection because they both are more comfortable showing affection physically for the most part though Lann is a bit better at verbal affection.

Lann's verbal affection kind of takes a bit for Thea to get used to because he's so genuine about it and she's wanted it for so long. Thea is very used to being wanted, admired, idolized but not genuinely loved. She's very raw and sensitive when it comes to that so she kinda bristles sometimes.

Lann during his romance also kind of gives me the vibe that being good at sexual intimacy is like his Thing that makes being in a relationship with him worthwhile. Like a "I know I'm a mongrel and unattractive and not the best man for you BUT-" Especially considering his first partner was Wendaug which definitely gave him a complex. Almost like he has to prove himself?? (which applies to other facets of his life too so I'm not surprised it translates to relationships and physical intimacy)

So they both gotta work on other aspects of affection besides sex in both accepting and giving :')

Who is the big spoon/little spoon? Big spoon is definitely Lann! I think Thea likes the feeling of being protected because she does so much protecting other people but has never had a person make her feel so safe and secure before. Also, Thea is a warm little potato and Lann likes to hold her because it warms him up. Their other fav sleeping position is Lann on his back with Thea curled into his scaled side.

What are their nicknames for each other? Lann calling Thea beautiful during their in-game romance I almost died so I'm running with it. Thea definitely calls him handsome in return. I can see Lann calling her sweetheart too. Thea definitely is tease with things like "big guy" and "tiger" jokingly.

Who says I love you first? How did it happen? They're both so stupid about stuff like this I keep going back and forth but I think it ends up being Lann because he just can't hold it in any longer. Their relationship during the game is weird because they're obviously seeing each other and sleeping together and clearly adore each other but they both have kinda attributed it to 1) it's the crusade and everyone is stressed and we need a little bit of happiness and 2) both of them saying to themselves like ok we can talk about it if we survive.

But Lann finally can't anymore and as much as I love the scene in the actual romance, I don't think he makes a big romantic deal of it because it would be too much for Thea and he knows that. I think it's during a quiet sweet moment when they're falling asleep or just a quiet moment when he says it.

And Thea doesn't reply that night and he's okay with it, he's okay if she doesn't love him because he gets to have this with her for right now and that's even enough for him. But in the morning when they leave for the day she kisses him and tells him 'I love you.' :') because she had to work up the courage.

They both have dopey smiles the rest of the day.

Thank you! I feel like I should put a content warning that while I think Qui-Gon's a great character, I'm in this fandom to bash him...

Why I like them - Qui-Gon's chief role in my fandom world is to make Obi-Wan suffer. And he's exceptional at it! Obi-Wan is so self-critical and nervous and desperate to please as a kid, and in return Qui-Gon just amplifies those destructive traits until they consume him. The pièce de résistance is when he leaves a just-turned-13 Obi-Wan in the middle of an active war zone on Melida/Daan, doesn't bother to tell anyone, then just lounges about watching other kids train at the Temple and wondering if Bruck Chun would like to be his new Padawan. At 25 Obi-Wan is still a stuttering mess who believes he's nowhere ready for Knighthood. That's all Qui-Gon's work.

Why I don’t - sometimes the suffering is all too real. And his obsession with the super powerful special boys.

Favorite episode (scene if movie) - TPM, of course! The end fight / death scene was so cool, like cool enough to make up for having had to sit relatively quietly through all the rest of TPM.

Favorite season/movie - TPM and Jedi Apprentice.

OTP - Qui-Gon/Tahl. I think they could have been really good for each other if she'd lived and they'd left the Order.

Brotp - Qui-Gon & Jar-Jar.

Head Canon - Even the river stone wasn't unique to Obi-Wan. He's definitely the only poor sod who got it for his 13th birthday, but Qui-Gon totally gave one to Feemor and Xanatos too. Maybe even other promising boys he took a shine to.

Unpopular opinion - that wasn't Qui-Gon at the end of OWK. Obi-Wan's just lost what was left of his mind.

A wish - I wanna know what Xanatos was telling Granta Omega. Why did he hate Obi-Wan so much? Why was he always so convinced Qui-Gon was looking to replace him? There is a lot of very dark fanfic to be written...

Ho Boy. I don't even know where to start here. One of my favourite rp moments stems from you directing Eddie's approach with Beth. That from silent coffee sharing to the moment he works up the courage to ask her out on a date, he pays attention to the small things. He goes into it armed with the knowledge that she's a little shy, a little quiet, a lot pescatarian, and not the kind of girl you kiss on the first, fifth, maybe even twentieth date. And he was still willing to pursue her. He offers her a picnic date, going so far as depriving himself of the resources he needs to survive. He gets advice from his symbiote. He takes it seriously enough to have planned activities. He literally did everything right. Even the moment when they finally evolve to the point that Eddie's holding her in his lap, making out with her on the couch, and her top comes off...he stops. Because he feels it's unfair to go any further, without knowing he's committed to someone else in his life. He introduces her then, to his Other. Rather than being horrified by a seven and some foot, enormous alien creature that lives in and with him, Beth feels instant desire. Maybe it's because his Other is part of him, but mostly I am sure it's the teeth. From that point on, Beth falls in love with both man and alien separately, and with Venom as a collective of both of them. With Eddie, she has a kindred spirit; someone who has a need to do good, who sometimes does things frowned upon by society, who has forever been on the fringes of their social class and peer groups, both Catholic, both survivors of different forms of neglect and abuse, both with demanding jobs. They lived pretty close to each other in New York but didn't meet despite mutual people in common, not until they both end up in San Francisco. By virtue of being bonded to his Klyntar, Eddie is maybe one of the few people who understand just how powerful and terrible the loss of her brother was, what it feels like to be forever incomplete. She isn't wholly jealous of his bond with Beloved ~as she soon names his Other~ and she does love Him, too, as an entity, a being in His own right. If Eddie speaks to Beth's human side, then Beloved speaks to the part of her that is equally alien, the nature of being a predator spirit as Rokea kinfolk. She might not have an immortal hive mind, but she does have nearly immortal sharks who frown upon human society except when they serve as meals. And when they decide to be Venom...well. Everything I say about that would get me banned for TOS violations and crimes against the Hays Code, but needless to say, I literally love everything about them. Which is why we have plans to ruin them both in the best ways possible. You have no one muse that I don't love a hundred different ways in a hundred different universes, but I think even beyond ones I've already talked about, this is my OTP of ours. And because of you, you gave me a whole new fandom <3

I stan NaruHina hard even to this day (though I delete all the burrito content from my brain) and I always will.

You know that stuff like Sakura in Naruto: The Last saying she was too good for him must've happened all the time with their friends and Hinata’s family and that's not even touching the whole 'hyuga heiress vs urchin street rat demon boy' thing they had going for most of their childhoods. 

But she didn't give a single god damn, she was the only one in that village who appreciated Naruto without having to be prompted by him gutsy-ninjaing his way into her good graces via hard work and prolonged exposure. She thought the world of him from the get go, she thought he was great and she was so lucky.

 And I think, I am so tearfully glad that Naruto got that in a partner at the end, that he got someone who would make him feel loved and who would never hesitate to state their admiration for him. Someone who he got that kind of positivity about himself from.

I just, he's got such a thick skin but he spends the whole series being insulted by allies and enemies alike (with plenty of praise in between let’s be real he was mc for a reason) and then there's Hinata and she's just like seeing him as a person and wanting to do her best because he motivates her and shit. 

WILL I EVER BE OVER THE DYNAMIC? NAY

Remember in the chuunin exams when NOBODY but NOBODY thought he had a chance against Neji? Not even Naruto really? Like he’s walking to the stadium and you can see his nerves on his face. And then he runs into her, because despite being injured she’s shown up early to wish him luck and give him ointment to use on any bruises he has. 

She's the only one in the entire village to wish him luck and tell him he can do it and he's just, never had that kind of unconditional kindness before? Like bonds have always been something Naruto's had to earn, work for, but she's just there. And she gave him courage when no one else was bothered to. 

 And then she does it again!  In the middle of the fourth war when everything's on his shoulders and everyone's depending on Naruto and you can see a trace of unease on his face and then Hinata grabs his hand, and gives him courage. Unasked for, unconditional support. For an orphan who grew up unloved with none of that. FUCK.

I'm still pissed she had little to no development in shippuden and I largely blame it on the fact that Kishimoto was undecided on the final pairings because NaruSaku was popular, like that scene when Naruto tells edo tensei Minato that Sakura's his girlfriend and Minato tells her to please go easy on his son? Pandering or weighing his options I don't know but regardless the final ships suffered big time for the indecision. 

And Hinata's characterisation additionally suffered for her being so limited in screentime which made the relationship feel less equal. But these are quibbles, the ship is solid to me. 

I mean don't get me started on the whole Pein fight.

Like yes it would be cool if we got to see more of her personality in canon and more of what was going on with her and Neji after Sasuke left and the hyuga clan and everything, yes I crave that and wish we'd gotten bamf Hinata moments. 

But like the core of her character for me is unimpeachable because she's somewhere Naruto can rest also the parallels between the affection she offers and the affection Naruto’s blood family offers during the seal release scene with the chakra imprints finally talking to him and telling him they loved him are very real and I have feelings about all of it. 

Anyway no shade to people who hate the ship for whatever reason, but in this one specific case, the canon pairing is OTP for me.

Hinata’s love for Naruto and the idea of Naruto getting to carefully let himself be surrounded by feelings we all know he considers precious? Amazing.
