“how would touya-nii react if i did xyz” “i wanna do xyz and make touya-no punish me” “i wanna make touya-nii mad so he’ll do this to me” PLS I JUST WANNA BE TOUYA-NII’S GOOD GIRL IF HE YELLED AT ME FOR MISBEHAVING I’D CRY AND NEVER DO IT AGAIN😭😭
HAHAHA aw anon!!! he would love you so much!!! touya-nii loves perfectly obedient good girls just as much as he loves playfully bratty girls that he gets to repeatedly and continually punish. he feels such a swell of pride, of power in his chest when you submit so beautifully to him, desperate to please him, to be good for him. it sends a rush of pleasant dizziness to his head, blurs his vision and tatters his breath, gifting him a more potent high than any drug ever could <3 there’s something almost comforting about it all to him, knowing that he has this much control over you, knowing that he only needs to punish you once, quick and easy with a couple of choice words and a razored tone, to ensure that you never, ever do it again. the pretty tears and cute sniffles he procures when he verbally scolds you are so precious, so delicious that it almost makes him want to push a little harder, a little harsher, just so he can devour more of you, greedy and gluttonous for your dedicated compliance, but he won’t do that to you. instead, he savours the moments when you do slip up, whimpering and weeping for his forgiveness as you promise, prayerlike, that you’ll never commit such an act again, paired with the serene knowledge that you’re telling him the honest-to-god truth, you swear, because you’re such a good, good girl for him, aren’t you? <3

Buyer's Guide: Choosing the Perfect Luxury Case for Your iPhone
The iPhone, an iconic device in the tech world, is celebrated for its state-of-the-art technology, elegant design, and unparalleled user experience. Possessing an iPhone extends beyond mere practicality; it signifies a statement of refinement, preference, and social standing. Consequently, safeguarding this prized possession from daily wear and tear demands the use of a Luxury iPhone case.
If you're on the lookout for a premium iPhone case, this blog post is tailored for you. Delve into the essential factors that will aid you in discovering the ideal luxury case for your iPhone. Within these lines, we shall explore numerous advantages and compelling reasons why opting for a luxury phone cover proves to be a prudent choice for every iPhone user.
Benefits of investing in a luxury iPhone case
Before we discuss the determining factors of a luxury iPhone case, it is very important to understand the importance of using a luxury iPhone cover. Many factors set a luxury iPhone case apart from any ordinary phone case. The said factors are listed below.
1. Enhanced Aesthetics
One of the primary reasons to opt for a luxury iphone 13 transparent case is the immediate boost of aesthetics. Materials like genuine leather, exotic woods, metals, and innovative fabrics are used for making luxury cases. These materials add a touch of richness to your device but also provide a luxurious feel in your hands. The exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail in luxury phone covers elevate the overall appearance of your iPhone. This further transforms it into a fashion statement.
2. Superior Protection
Although aesthetics hold significance, safeguarding your precious iPhone takes precedence. Luxury iPhone cases are meticulously crafted using premium materials and cutting-edge technology to provide unmatched protection against scratches, scuffs, and impact-related harm. With reinforced corners, shock-absorbing capabilities, and raised edges surrounding the screen and camera, these cases establish a dependable shield for your device, even during accidental drops or unforeseen incidents. By opting for a luxury iPhone case, you guarantee that your iPhone maintains its pristine condition, safeguarding its resale value and ensuring its longevity.
3. Tailored Fit and Functionality
Luxury phone covers are specifically designed to perfectly fit the dimensions and contours of your iPhone model. This tailored fit ensures that all buttons, ports, and functions are easily accessible and do not get obstructed by the case. The precise cutouts allow for seamless charging, access to the camera, and ease of using the volume and power buttons. Luxury iPhone covers are way better than the generic mobile phone covers online, they provide seamless integration with your iPhone.
4. Exclusivity and Personalization
Luxury iPhone covers bring forth a notable benefit through their exclusivity and capacity for personalization. Numerous manufacturers in this niche present an extensive range of designs, patterns, and colors, catering to diverse tastes and preferences. Additionally, certain brands go the extra mile by offering customization features, enabling you to engrave your initials or incorporate unique embellishments, resulting in a truly distinctive case. Embracing a luxury iPhone case empowers you to express your individuality boldly, distinguishing yourself in any gathering and revealing your discerning taste and meticulousness.
5. Long-term Investment
While luxury phone covers may come with a higher price tag compared to standard cases, they should be seen as a long-term investment rather than a mere expense. The premium materials and superior craftsmanship used in luxury phone covers ensure their durability and longevity, outlasting many generic cases that might require frequent replacements. Additionally, the protection provided by a luxury transparent phone cover can potentially save you the cost of repairing or replacing your iPhone due to accidental damage.
6. Statement of Status and Success
For many, owning an iPhone is more than just owning a phone; it is a symbol of success and status. Pairing your prized iPhone with a luxury transparent phone cover further reinforces this image. A luxury case serves as an indicator of your refined taste and appreciation for fine craftsmanship. It exudes an air of sophistication and elegance, making a statement about your lifestyle and values. When you take out your iPhone with a luxury phone cover, it leaves a lasting impression on others and adds to your overall image of success and accomplishment.
Factors to Look for in a Luxury Phone Cover
1. Material Quality: The material used in a luxury phone cover is a crucial factor to consider. Look for premium materials such as genuine leather, exotic woods, carbon fiber, or metals. These materials not only provide a luxurious feel but also ensure durability and long-lasting protection for your phone.
2. Craftsmanship: Pay attention to the craftsmanship of the luxury phone cover. A well-crafted cover should fit your phone precisely, allowing easy access to all buttons and ports. Meticulous attention to detail ensures seamless integration with your device, maintaining its sleek design and functionality.
3. Protection Features: The primary purpose of an iphone 13 transparent case is to protect your valuable smartphone. Look for features like reinforced corners, shock-absorbing technology, and raised edges around the screen and camera. These features provide enhanced protection against scratches, scuffs, and impact damage.
4. Design: Select a luxury phone cover that perfectly matches your style and personality. The realm of luxury covers offers a diverse array of designs, patterns, colors, and textures, accommodating all preferences. Whether you gravitate towards a timeless and sophisticated appearance or desire a striking and attention-grabbing design, rest assured, there exists a luxury cover tailored to suit your unique taste.
5. Compatibility: Ensure that the luxury mobile phone covers online is specifically designed for your phone mode. A perfect fit guarantees easy access to all functions and features without obstructing any essential buttons or ports.
6. Functionality: Look for additional functionalities that add value to the phone cover. Some luxury covers come with card slots, kickstands, or built-in stands for hands-free viewing, enhancing the convenience of using your smartphone.
7. Brand Reputation: Research the brand's reputation before making a purchase. Established and reputable brands are more likely to deliver high-quality products and excellent customer service. Read reviews from other customers to gauge their satisfaction with the luxury phone cover.
8. Customization Options: Some luxury phone covers offer customization options, allowing you to add your initials or unique embellishments. Customization adds a personal touch and makes the cover one-of-a-kind.
9. Slim and Lightweight: Look for a luxury phone cover that is slim and lightweight. It should add minimal bulk to your device, maintaining its sleek profile and comfortable grip.
10. Warranty: Check if the luxury phone cover comes with a warranty. A good warranty provides peace of mind, knowing that the manufacturer stands behind the quality and durability of their product.
Key Findings
Choosing the perfect luxury iPhone case involves considering a range of factors that combine style, protection, and functionality. Material quality, craftsmanship, and protection features ensure the cover's durability and safeguard your phone from damage. Design and aesthetics allow you to express your personality, while compatibility guarantees a perfect fit for your specific phone model. Control
Pairing: Lucifer x gn!reader
Genre: smut
Word Count: 1.2k
Summary: Lucifer had no problem keeping himself under control, until he met you.
Warnings: Corruption kink (i think thats it, lmao)
a/n: So the lovely @sevensins-stuff decided it would be haha funny to send me this ask. It influenced me to make this drabble/blurb/scenario???? I don’t know what this is really but I hope you enjoy! It’s my first smut piece so I hope it’s okay <3
~~~~~
There was something in the way you looked at Lucifer when you were on your knees and waiting for his command that made him go feral.
You had been such a sweet little thing when he met you for the first time. When you arrived he was sure there had been a mistake and you were actually from the Celestial Realm. He hadn’t ever seen a human basically glow with kindness. You walked around all these demons without a care in the world because of your obliviousness. You were always thoughtful and kind to him and his brothers. You were nothing but good through and through.
And it drove him insane.
But not in the way it did with the second eldest, who frequently called you a goody two shoes. To be frank, it really turned him on.
He tried to ignore it. You were a human, you were the exchange student, you were absolutely off-limits. Yet he found himself sitting in his study with his pen in his hand, thinking about bending you over the desk he was working on. He would think about the sounds you’d make when he spanked your ass and thighs. He would think about how you’d scream while he pounded you into the hardwood. He’d realize he snapped his pen in half while daydreaming about you, again. That was his 4th pen this week.
Lucifer prides himself on his self-restraint. He was the eldest and the most mature which meant he could keep himself together in even the most stressful situations. Yet when you approach him in the kitchen one afternoon and ask him to walk you to RAD with those damn big, sweet eyes of yours he feels like he is a hair away from losing it.
He starts avoiding you, pushing Mammon to do even more ‘human duties’ so he wouldn’t have to see you much besides meals. But of course, he can’t control your actions. So when you stroll into his study while he’s working late one night in your really short pajama shorts and a tank top with your nipples clearly visible through the thin fabric, he barely manages to not let his demon form come out.
You couldn’t sleep and saw he was awake so you wanted to keep him company for a bit until you got sleepy. A simple request overall, he couldn’t find it in him to turn you away. Even if he wanted to leap over his desk, rip your pajamas off, and leave marks on every inch of your body. He nods and you go and sit in a chair. He manages to focus enough to get through a bit more paperwork. When the clock strikes 2am, he glances over to find you had fallen asleep.
He couldn’t just leave you here, right? He had to take you back to your room and so he does. He watches your face as he walks down the hall, even when you were asleep you looked like one of the purest beings to ever grace his presence. Considering he was an angel at one point, that’s saying a lot.
He sets you down on your bed but as he’s about to straighten up, you grab his arm.
“Oh, my apologies if I woke you MC. Go back to sleep,” Lucifer says gently as he starts to walk away.
But your hands don’t loosen on his sleeve.
“Stayyyy.” You tug on his arm, half asleep and very clingy.
“I...don’t think that’s a good idea.” Lucifer sighs.
He could easily pull out of your grip and leave, but the logical and impulsive parts of him were at odds and he couldn’t decide which he should listen to.
“Pleaseeee? Just for a little, it was so easy to fall asleep with you around.”
The moment you pouted at him with those taunting, sweet eyes of yours, he knew he was going to give in. It won’t take long. You’re already half asleep. He could control himself. Perhaps he may have been able to control himself, had you actually gone back to sleep. Instead, when he lays down next to you, you turn to face him.
“You can’t sleep with your eyes on me, MC.” Lucifer teases with a small smile.
Yet you don’t close your eyes. His smile falls as a look of confusion crosses his face. Then, you lean over and gently peck his lips. It’s a chaste kiss, your lips barely meet for a second. For a moment Lucifer's mind is blank. He is in pure shock, still trying to process what happened. His eyes meet yours and you look up him shyly, playing with your fingers. Even after kissing a powerful demon you manage to look at him with such sweet innocence like you were caught with your hand in the cookie jar.
He finally snaps.
It takes less than a second for him to be on top of you, one hand cupping your cheek while he rests on his arm so his full weight wasn’t on you. His lips are back on yours with a lot more force and hunger. Lucifer can feel himself shifting, his horns, wings, and diamond emerging as you take over his every sense. He could only feel your soft skin under his hand, your lips on his eager and responsive. Your sweet scent completely surrounding him, almost suffocating but he couldn’t get enough of it. Your hands gripping his waistcoat and pulling as if he could somehow get closer to you. It’s only when you pull away, desperate for air that he realizes what he’s doing.
“Tell me to stop.” He demands, his voice low as he shuts his eyes and wills himself to get it together before this goes any further.
All he needed was to hear you say no. To tell him to stop. His conflicting mind would be cleared with a simple word.
“I-I don’t want you to.”
That makes the fire in him reignite tenfold. His entire body stiffened, like a wolf ready to pounce on prey.
“You...have no idea what you’re saying. What you’re agreeing to.” Lucifer says, voice tense as he holds on desperately to the small semblance of control he’s managed to find.
“I like you. I don’t want you to stop. Please don’t stop, Lucifer.”
Just like that, that bit of control disappears and he spends the entire night indulging in his deepest desires with you. That night was the catalyst for your current arrangement. Over the next few months, he conditions you into being the perfect little cockslut and he loves every second of it.
Loves seeing you go from being too shy to look him in the eye once you were naked to keeping your teary eyes on him while you tried to fit his length down your throat. Loves hearing your quiet, soft moans turn into loud, desperate babbling of how good he felt and how badly you wanted to cum. Loves seeing your pristine, unmarked skin become littered with hickeys, bites, and handprints. Loves how you went from unsure about your desires to bringing him the toys you want him to use on you that night. Loves seeing your sweetness and purity drain from you as you serviced him and pleased him however he wanted.
Who knew he could gain something so precious by losing control?
Xiao x reader
!Angst Warning!
Slowly and gently, I can see how he tucks the loose lock of her hair to her ear. I can also see how she blushes at his gentle gesture. A small barely noticeable smile on his lips. I clench my fist tightly, I feel the Qingxin flower's stem crushed in my palm. I want to walk away from the irritating scene, but my feet are rooted on the ground. As if some force prevented me too.
It took all my willpower to tear my sight from them. "Xiao…" I whispered to the wind, hoping he would notice. But alas, the harsh reality proved otherwise.
10 years. It took me ten years to befriend the so-called vigilant yaksha. The only remaining yaksha. The yaksha which is said to be the coldest amongst all of the adepti in Liyue.
I met Xiao when I was 6 years old. I was lost in a forest near Liyue harbor. I remember Granny Ping said to call Adeptus Xiao if I ever had any trouble. So with a snotty nose, I wail out his name. A gust of gentle breeze blows before a tall big brother (at that time) in teal arrived. He frowns at me. I still remember my hand, which was full of snot and tears, grabbed his long sleeves and cried to it, effectively soiling the pristine cloth.
He almost flung me instinctively, but I know how hard I grabbed it and I am still a Liyue citizen. Xiao kneeled and with an awkward pat on my head, he lifted me up easily. Without a word, he jumps high. I can still vividly remember the breeze blowing my face. I stopped crying immediately and realized how high we were.
Tears were replaced with small giggles. From the position we were, I found my parents shouting my name. "Papa and mama." I leaned my body, wriggling out of his arms.
"Don't move." That was the first time I heard his voice. It's so beautiful that I shut up immediately. Xiao maneuvered and landed near to my worried parents.
"Mama, Papa!" I rushed to them right after Xiao put me down. My mother quickly hugs me tight, afraid if I were to disappear again.
"Where were you?! Do you know how worried we were?!" Papa scolded.
"But Papa, Adeptus Xiao took me home." I wriggled out from my mother's embrace and looked behind me, only to find empty space.
"Adeptus Xiao was with you?" Papa asked bewildered.
"Yep. Granny Ping told me to call for Adeptus Xiao if I had trouble. I did and he came. He jumped so high and I could see you." I excitedly told them my tale.
Not long after, I finally found out not many people can meet the elusive Adeptus. But I was determined to meet him again. To thank him and befriend him.
So, I ask the most knowledgeable person in this world, Granny Ping. Granny Ping told me that Qingxin is his flower. I want to pick one, but it only blooms in high peaks which is impossible for me. So, the next best thing is buying from a florist. Granny Ping also told me where to give the flower. Wangshu inn. Thus, I made it my mission to go there everyday to give him a Qingxin flower.
In Wangshu inn. As expected, I couldn't meet Xiao, instead I met the owner. Verr Goldet. After hearing my reasoning to visit the elusive Adeptus. She told me to put the flower on the balcony on the highest floor. I will stay there for hours without meeting him. And I do this everyday for almost a month.
Maybe Verr was taking pity on me. She told me to help her deliver a plate of Almond tofu to Xiao. And thus, our second meeting. I was so excited that I almost fell flat smashing the tofu to the floor if not for his fast reflex.
Xiao frowns when he sees me. "Adeptus Xiao, thank you." I smiled as I gave him the flower.
"Don't come close to me." He frowned.
"But, I want to." I shook my head. "Granny Ping told me you have protected us. I want to thank you." I pouted.
"...I am just doing my job according to the contract. I don't need any thanks." He said.
"Even so, I want to thank you." I said persistently.
I think that was the time he gave up explaining to a small naive kid. From that day on, I meet him everyday with a Qingxin flower and a plate of almond tofu. Of course, I still have to call him or else he won't show up even with almond tofu.
After a year, he softened up a bit. At least, I don't need to wait for him on the balcony. He will always be there by the time I reach the balcony with a flower and a plate of almond tofu. Another year and I can even manage to slip a Qingxin flower to his hair. And the second year of our meeting is truly the start of my happiness. Xiao gave me a small trinket made from sage technique to ward off evil. Every year following that on my birthday the small trinket will increase, a crystalfly, a leaf butterfly, you name it. And last year, he gave me an amulet. The amulet I have never taken it off since I wore it on my birthday.
In exchange I too, so persistently celebrate his birthday, since he won't tell me when is his birthday, I just mark the date we met is his birthday, not until a few years later he finally grumpily told me his real birthday.
I started learning martial arts and cooking courtesy from Xiao for the former and Smiley Yan for the latter.
10 years of hardwork, 9 years of nurturing feelings, all of them have gone to the drain. With just one appearance of this girl. No, she is not a traveller with a fairy. She is just someone from Qingce village. Xiao met her when he was patrolling around the area. Just in a month she undone all my hardwork. Now they are a step away from being lovers.
I made my way back home. For the first time in 10 years, I didn't go to Wangshu inn, no I didn't go to meet him. A fresh Qingxin I have picked and a plate of almond tofu are laid forgotten on the table. Fresh tears finally flowed down from my eyes. It hurts. It hurts so much looking at them. It hurts so much seeing him smile at them. The smile that I thought only I could see.
'It's not yours anymore.' A sickly sweet voice whispered
'He is finally happy. He finally rid himself of you. You are just a worthless girl. You don't deserve him.'
'The love of his life is not you. It will never be you.' The sickly sweet voice cackled gleefully.
That night I succumbed to the negative emotion of mine.
The next day, I resolved to investigate that girl. I have realized I am not good enough for him. That's why I want to make sure she is good enough for him.
'You just want to make yourself better if you find a flaw in her. What a liar.' The voice back in my mind echoed.
I shake myself, trying to get rid of those voices. First, I will obviously start from Liyue. I heard her parents are doing business in Liyue and she sometimes tags along. And today, she didn't come. Perfect. I have double checked in her parents' shop.
But every answer I get from them lowers my spirit. In the end, I can only summarize her in one word. Perfect. She is so perfect. All of the people I ask from will sing a praise to her. It's almost impossible for a perfect human like her to exist. But she is, and now she could even open the vigilant yaksha's heart in the span of a month.
To clear my head and the annoying voices in my head, I make my way to the secret place I have found a few years back. Inside the forest where I first met Xiao, there is a small patch of Qingxin flower field deep inside the forest. Qingxin flower, which is said to only bloom in the highest peak, somehow can grow in that patch and only that patch. The area around it is also safe from hillicurls or slime. Xiao said he never detected any malicious intent around the small field. Thus, that area became our secret spot.
Either Celestia likes to mess with me or I am just that unlucky, I met the perfect girl. She is surrounded by hillicurls. I frowned, I materialized my weapon and took a step.
'Why don't you just leave her alone. She is powerless. If the Hillicurls get her killed, then no one will be with your precious Xiao again. You can have him all by yourself.' The sickly sweet voice is tempting me with that.
I stop dead in my tracks. Indeed, If she is dead, then Xiao will have no one but me. It will be just the two of us again. I take a step back and turn myself.
'Good. This is what you should do.' The voice cooed.
"Kyaaa!!"
I grit my teeth and spring back to act. I rush to the group of hillicurls, which fortunately just 3 of them. I swipe their feet using my polearm. "Run!" I barked at her. She flinches at my harsh glare and voice, but finally starts running.
I quickly engaged with 3 hillicurls. I am not a pro, but Xiao taught me enough to defend myself. I panted after I finished the last hillicurls. I am just glad I didn't get any deep injury. "Kikiki!" A small fireball flew past me.
I cursed my luck. A pyro abyss mage is waving his staff and 3 small monster heads are firing flamethrowers at me. I barely dodge it. "Kikiki!" Then another cyro abyss mage comes out.
I gulp. This place might be my grave after all.
*3rd POV*
Yue Mei is just picking herbs by herself. She giggles at the thought of the famous vigilant yaksha literally swept by her feet in their first meeting. She fell in love at the first sight. She glanced at a charm on her neck. She is really grateful for this charm. She made a wish a year ago in an adepti abode. And that adeptus gave her this charm. She is told to wear this everyday, everywhere she goes. This charm will help her.
True to his word, after she had worn this charm. Everyone has become nicer. They gave her a lot of free stuff and some even started to court her. She was shy at first, the attention she got was really overwhelming. But, she already has an ideal man. A man who is strong and handsome. And her ideal man turned out to be Adeptus Xiao.
She blushes again remembering him. Their last meeting ends up with Adeptus Xiao tucked her hair back to her ear. This intimate gesture is really making her happy. Soon, she will confess to him soon. And they will become a couple.
But, her daydream is short lived. A group of hillicurls suddenly appear and surround her. Fear gripped her entire being. "A...ade...adept…" She is too afraid to even call the yaksha. One of the hillucurls raises its club high. "Don….'t… Kyaaaa!!!!" She let out a blood curdling scream as she closed her eyes.
But the pain didn't come. When she opened her eyes she saw the hillicurls on the ground and a girl wielding a polearm glared at her with such hostility. "Run!" She barked at her. Yue Mei flinches at her harsh tone. But her feet finally gained their freedom as she ran away to the direction of Wangshu inn.
Her feet are tired and trembling. She collapses on her knees. "Adeptus Xiao." She whimpered. A familiar breeze whirled, and Xiao came. Looking at the trembling form, Xiao frowns, "What happened?" He kneeled in front of her.
"Hi...Hillicurls…" She managed to stutter.
He hisses, knowing those monsters targeted someone under his protection. "Where are they?"
"There…" She pointed to a direction. "A girl...wielding...polearm...is...holding them...off…" She said shakily. The entire time she clutched her charm.
"A girl… wielding polearm…" His eyes widened. A girl wielding a polearm. The only one that comes to his mind is "[Your Name]..." He whispered. Somehow his mind becomes clear, as if the fog in his mind has been blown away. Xiao quickly summons his own spear.
"Don't!!!" Yue Mei quickly grabbed his hand. "Don't...leave...me alone." Tears streamed down her eyes, making her look so pitiful. This usually invokes some kind of protective instinct from the opposite gender. But, unfortunately for her. She is dealing with this the one and only Conqueror of Demons. Now the spell has been broken, he is not as nice as previous him except to a certain mortal.
"Release me!" He growled as he glared at her, more specifically at her charm.
She flinches at his harsh tone and glare. She stares at him wide eyed. He never used this kind of tone with her, not even on their first meeting. Her hands loosen up. And Xiao quickly disappears from her, leaving her all alone.
Xiao rushes to the direction that the girl pointed to. His mind is racing with what ifs. He finally arrived, but [Your Name] is not on sight. There are only 3 dead bodies of Hillicurls. He calms down a bit. She can handle herself just fine if it's only 3 Hillicurls. But, when he observed more carefully once again, his blood ran cold. Not far from him, a puddle of red blood is spotted, along with two dead abyss mages.
His heart thumped loudly, looking at the trail of blood moving to a certain direction. To the direction he is so familiar. His mind starts racing with a really unpleasant outcome.
"~~~♪ ~~~ ♪" The wind brought a familiar tune.
"...Xiao...where are you…?" He heard it. Her voice. But her voice is so weak, like she will disappear forever. Xiao has never rushed this fast. Right now in his mind, there's only she has to be alright.
*1st Pov*
"Hah...haah…" I panted as I stabbed my polearm to the ground, using it to stabilize my body. The puddle of blood on the ground beneath me is proof it's too late for me. 'If I were to die… At least let me choose the place.' With that in mind, I dragged my feet to our secret spot no, my grave. The small patch of Qingxin flowers.
I drop my body in the middle of the patch, hissing from the pain. But the smell of Qingxin is calming me down. It feels like Xiao is with me.
"~~~♪ ~~~ ♪" with my shaky voice, I started humming a tune. This song is passed down from generation to generation in our house. Apparently this song is some kind of a prayer back in the ancient times. My eyes are blurry now being soaked by blood. "...Xiao...where are you…?" I couldn't see anymore. I reach out my hand, hoping he will grab it. Then a miracle happened. I can see Xiao grabs my hand and pulls me up. I can feel the pain has started to dull and then disappeared, I feel so light, so free. I can see him clearly. Hand in hand the two of us wander to wherever we desire.
"Thank you for coming." I smiled.
everything i love about you // kei tsukishima
tsukishima’s has to write a journal for his english class - so he writes about you because he is a simp.
tw// (she/her) reader, cussing, too much fluff- ?
↳Thursday, October 1st 2020
This is my journal for English class. I will be writing about my girlfriend - (Y/N) (L/N) throughout the day. I’ve chosen her opposed to a friend or a family member because she is very interesting, unlike most of my friends who are just annoying - whilst my family are plain boring. If you can’t already tell, this journal will be written in whatever tone I desire, which is sarcastic 99% of the time.
Well, to begin on a high note, one of the reasons I love like my girlfriend - (Y/N) (L/N) - is because she is tolerant/patient.
For example, this morning she waited an extra 3 minutes for me to arrive at the bus stop - where we usually meet to walk to school together - as I was running a few minutes late due to a ‘bad hair day’. This displays patience.
Also, her friends are some of the most annoying, god-awful people I’ve ever met yet she still hangs out with them. That shows how tolerant she is of their bullshit - it’s honestly quite impressive to see someone throw away every last bit of their dignity just to spend more time with the people that are tearing them down. This could be considered stupidity but I’ll call it tolerance for now because I was told to start this journal with the positives.
↳Friday, October 2nd 2020
“The English language is one the most stupid ones out there.” - that was a factual opinion.
I’m finding it challenging to write this journal with the assistance of google translate and a whole years worth of English notes. It’s a hard language, anyone would agree with me on that. So imagine what sort of genius you’d have to be in order to know the language fluently?
Well, what if I told you that (L/N) can speak English with little to no errors? As well as Japanese! It’s insane, honestly. Which brings me onto my second point, she’s extremely intelligent; another reason I love her. Well, she’s an intelligent dumbass - and I know that’s an oxymoron but let me explain.
Again, she can speak English fluently so if she had taken it as a subject, she’d definitely be the top of the class. She is also passing all her classes with straight As. However, she is still very dumb; throw-back to that one time she mixed up Chernobyl and Auschwitz.
It’s perfect - just the right amount of intelligence that I don’t have to baby her but humble, so she’s not cocky about it. And just the right amount of idiot that she still makes me laugh..sometimes.
↳Saturday, October 3rd 2020
This next point kinda ties in with the last one but she is very confident and is able to take a joke which is something that  - I personally believe - is crucial to have in a significant other.
I am aware of the fact that I am not always the nicest, most optimistic person to be around; but she has thick skin and knows that whenever I call her a ‘dumbass’, I either mean it as a joke or as a term of endearment.
Also, anyone would find it quite annoying if their special someone always was seeking attention, validation and compliments. I mean, every once and while it is completely fine but if your whole self-esteem is based off of whatever people think of you and you need constant reassurance in every single thing you do - I personally - would find that a bit annoying. As I mentioned before, I am your lover, not your babysitter.
So, that’s another reason I love like her; and as Abraham Lincoln once said, ‘what’s sexier than confidence?”
Source: https//:pornhub.com
↳Sunday, October 4th 2020
She is so hot.
Now, please, don’t get wrong; I hate the objectification of women and physical appearance isn’t everything as they all deserve to be treated equally and with respect.
 But I am looking respectfully 👀
Actually, perhaps ‘hot’ wasn’t the best choice of words as there are so many different phrases/words in the English language that would be more fitting to describe not only (Y/N)’s physical appearance but how she acts. Words such as: gorgeous, classy, alluring, angelic, elegant, divine, stunning, captivating, radiant, tempting, adorable, ravishing and most accurately, beautiful.
She’s modest about it too. Understandably, she prefers compliments on her character rather than her look because she says, ‘People that compliment me on shallow things like my appearance are either toxic, wanna get with me or they are just naïve.’
However, I do believe that she dislikes those sorts of compliments because she simply doesn’t need them - she knows she is beautiful and so does everyone around her, I mean, it’s kinda hard to ignore.
Like seriously? Who could miss those enchanting (e/c) eyes of hers? Or her shapely figure that would make any person ‘act up’? And have I yet to mention her pristine lips that lift to make that charming smile of hers?
Okay, well, you see the point. (L/N) = very sexy, inside and out. I am done complimenting her for today. I need to go lie down.
↳Monday, 5th October 2020
The last day of the week. Well, according to my professor, anyway.
This is the part where I tell you the 5th and final thing that I love like about (Y/N). And honestly, I can’t decide between the following; so I’ll just roll a D20 and let that choose for me:
1. She is very funny
2. She is an amazing cook
3. Her singing voice gives me goose-bumps
4. She is so gentle towards animals, it’s precious
5. She is so talented
6. She is very supportive of everything I do
7. She makes an effort in our relationship and to understand the things that I enjoy eg. volleyball, paleontology
8. She’s is a good communicator
9. She’s loyal
10. She doesn’t get feisty or petty during arguments, we keep it classy
11. Her passion for the things and the people she loves is so attractive
12. She is one of the most diligent, hard-working people I’ve ever met
13. She just generally has this sort of charm about her, that’s why she gets on so well with people
14. She’s honest
15. I would trust her with my life
16. I know that she’d be there for me when I need her because she always has been
17. Explain how there is no one real reason I love her, it’s just that everything she does comes together and forms..her! She’s so special and unique, there is no way I’d be able to pin it down to one key feature.
18. She’s human
19. I envy her
20. Roll again.
I rolled a 20.
Then I got a 17.
I know I probably seem like a love-sick sucker for writing all of this about my girlfriend but I can assure that even if she was just my friend, I’d still write this journal about her because she is the most interesting and extortionary person I’ve ever met. I can also assure you that if you ever meet her yourself, you’d be writing novels about her for a minute of her time.
To me, she’s perfection. And I’d rather die than say that aloud so that it partly the reason I am writing this for her. It is easier for me to express what I feel through this journal than it ever would be to say this stuff out loud, especially to her.
I like love her.
good job, Tsukishima! A very sweet journal and your vocabulary is quite impressive. I'm sure your girlfriend will adore this haha. What I will say though is that perhaps you could try use less contractions and real words - by this I mean that 'kinda' and 'sorta' are not real words in the english laguage so you should try and avoid those. Another than that, superb work!
Touch Starved (Kelley O’Hara x Reader)
Tumblr media
Request: R is really touch starved and Kelley hugs her for a second, but R doesn't let go and then Kelley agrees to be carried around for the whole day so that R feels better.
Author’s note: This one turned into something that i wasn’t expecting it to, so i really hope that it met the request, and if it didn’t a apologize. So there’s no Smut in this, but there are some adult themes. So proceed at your own risk. Let me know what you think, and hit me up with Ideas, Requests or if you just want to say hi. I hope you enjoy.
Your family was one of the reasons that you had never agreed with the idea that the grass was always greener on the other side. From the outside looking in, you were the model family. Your dad was the VP of a very prominent law firm and your mother was one of the best prosecutors in the country. But that success had come at a cost. Their work and the public’s perception of you came before everything else. They were both cold and distant with you and your older brother, substituting love and affection with material objects designed to keep up appearances and keep you quiet. Any deviation from perfection was a stain on the pristine family image that your parents had built their lives around.
They demanded that you live up to the impossibly high standard that they had set for you. Your brother had thrived in that environment. He had followed the path that your parents had laid for him, succeeding in both college and medical school, getting married to the daughter of the CEO of the firm your parents worked for and pumping out three beautiful baby boys before he had turned thirty. He was exactly the person who your parents had wanted him to be.
You, on the other hand, were not. You struggled in school and decided that moving to France to play soccer was a better option than marrying the boy that they had picked out for you (considering that you were much more interested in kissing his sister than you were in kissing him). They had all but disowned you, giving you 2 hours to pack up all of your things and get the fuck out of their house. By the time you turned 19 you had been called up to the national team, proving to them that you weren’t throwing your life away on some childish dream. The day your call up was announced was also the first time you heard from your parents in the two years since they had kicked you out. You would have preferred it if they had left you alone.
It had taken the team a long time to break through your stoic exterior, to show you that expressing your feelings was a strength and not a weakness. They had taught you that you were allowed to love whoever you wanted without feeling ashamed of it. One feisty woman, in particular, had convinced you just how nice physical contact could be, and that strength it took to become completely vulnerable to someone.
With Kelley, you could give in to the urges that had plagued your childhood, and let her take care of you in every way imaginable. She was so much more than simply your girlfriend, she was your rock, sounding board, and the love of your life. She also may or may not have taken up the role of Daddy to your brattier side, but that was beside the point. You were addicted to her touch and you felt anxious when you didn’t have it. You had been attached at the hip for the past 4 years, so that was why the team was shocked when the two of you had shown up to camp just after the holidays separately.
“Did you and Y/n get into a fight?” Alex asked, her eyebrows furrowing as she plopped down beside Kelley in the hotel conference room. Kelley’s eyes flicked away from the door and towards her friend for a short moment.
“Nope,” She said shortly, unable to prevent the annoyance from leaking into the short word. She was completely done with this entire situation. She hated being away from you, to begin with, and the reason for your abrupt separation was doing nothing to calm her nerves.
“That was convincing,” Tobin murmured, sitting next to Alex and placing a possessive hand on her leg. Kelley rolled her eyes. She hadn’t been happy when you had to leave her two days after New Years, but you hadn’t had much of a choice. It was your mother’s 50th birthday, and your father had demanded that you attend.
“Where is she then?” Christen asked soothingly, sitting in the row behind them, and beginning to card her fingers through Alex’s hair. Alex melted into the touch, and Kelley sighed. What she would give for that to be you right now. You were going to need some serious TLC when you arrived, and she was going to make sure you got it...
“Her plane from Chicago should be landing in a few minutes,” She said shortly, pulling her phone from her pants and checking to make sure you hadn’t texted her that your flight was delayed.
“Chicago? Don’t her parents live in Chicago?” Alex yelped, worry taking over her features. The team knew about your parents, and how you repeatedly twisted yourself into knots to gain their approval. They always used your desire for them to finally be proud of you as a way to control you. You knew that, but even with the support of your best friends and girlfriend, you couldn’t seem to smother the desire to prove to them that you weren’t just a black mark on their precious family image.
“Yep,” Kelley gave them a curt nod. She wasn’t happy you had insisted on going by yourself. Kelley would have gone with you, but after their last meeting, it was decided that everyone would be better off if you went alone. You were better at keeping your composure under your parents’ criticisms and backhanded compliments than Kelley was. She was too protective over you to just sit there and smile while your parents ripped you to shreds.
“Alone?” Tobin asked, her eyebrows raised as she took in Kelly’s nod. ”That sounds bad” Tobin murmured and Kelley shot her a withering look.
”How bad?” Christen urged, leaning forward in her chair and playing a hand on Kelley’s shoulder. You craved touch, and if your parents were anything like Kelley had described them, you weren't getting any affirming pats or comforting strokes. Hopefully, your plight didn't go much deeper than that, but the look on Kelley’s face told her that it did. That it was worse than just some touch starvation.
“Last time I heard from her, her dad was throwing a fit because she cut her hair short and died it blue 3 days before she went there. That was on Thursday, ” Kelley mumbled hoarsely, the sound of your Father screaming about how much of a disgrace you were still clear in her mind. You had tried to calm her down, to tell her that it wasn't a big deal, but no one had the right to talk to you like that.
“So, she’s in trouble for not communicating?” Alex asked hesitantly, biting her lip. She remembered the last time the two of you had forgotten to check in with your respective partners when you went to the mall. Christen, Kelley, and Tobin had made the two of you hold their pockets everywhere they went for the next week on top of their spankings.
 “No. Her mom took her phone because she was texting me and not paying attention to the ‘parade of suitors’ they had brought through to try and ‘fix’ her, ” Kelley growled lowly. Your parents just couldn't seem to accept that you had no interest in men and that you were in a very serious relationship with a woman. A relationship that was so serious that there may or may not have been a very nice ring sitting at the bottom of her bag just waiting for the right moment.
“So what’s the plan when she gets here then?” Christen asked carefully.
“I’m going to see what she needs, and then give it to her,” Kelley said with determination. She would fly to Chicago and beat the crap out of your parents if that was what it took to make you feel better. You were bound to be touch starved when you got here, but the touch you craved was yet to be determined.
“And we’ll be prepared to smother her in cuddles after?” Alex nodded, a pout forming in her face. You were her best friend, and if it was cuddling you needed, cuddles you would receive.
“Maybe,” Kelley mumbled. She didn’t want to burst Alex’s bubble, but she wasn’t sure what state you would be in when you got here. It was possible that you would want to be smothered in the love and cuddles of the friends who had become your family. Or could just need a more intimate form of comfort that the two of you most definitely didn’t do with the other three. It was also possible that you would need a more… physical release to deal with your emotions.
” Let's just see how she is when she gets here baby horse, ok?” Tobin whispered gently in Alex’s ear, making eye contact with Kelley. She understood that they wouldn’t know what you needed until Kelley could get a better assessment of the situation.
  Kelley’s eyes were glued to you the moment you stepped through the door. She took in the slump or your shoulders and the dark circles under your eyes.
“Hey, little one. I missed you,” she stood and went to pace a kiss on your lips, but was instead engulfed in a bone-crushing hug.
“Missed you too Kels” You mumbled tiredly into her neck, running your nose along the Colum of her throat, just taking in the comforting scent of your girlfriend. She allowed the hug to go on for a few minutes, before trying to pull back and look at you. You whined loudly and squeezed her even tighter.
“you alright?” She asked into your hair, trying to untangle herself from you enough to look you in the eyes. You growled lightly and clung impossibly tighter to her. She sighed, rubbing a hand up and down her back.
“Mmm. Just let me stay here a little while longer?” You mumbled quietly into her neck, your shoulders relaxing when she nodded.
“But let’s get a little more comfortable alright?” She whispered into your ear, laughing lightly when you groaned out an ok. She took a step back and settled herself into her chair, pulling you into her lap. You snuggled deeper into the woman, enjoying the first touch you had received in a week and taking in her comforting scent.
She ran her hands up and down your back, sighing in relief when she felt your breathing even out and your body slump further into her.
“Hey little one, look at me,” She said after a few minutes, using her hands to gently coax you out of your warm hiding place. You moaned in discontent but gave in to your dominant’s insistent fingers. She studied your Y/E/C orbs for a few seconds, before placing a gentle kiss on your lips. “What do you need, baby girl?” She asked, her warm breath fanning over your mouth.
“Just need you. Just hold me please?” You pleaded, your eyes growing glassy. You desired her touch so much that it hurt.
“Shh baby. I’ve got ya. I’m not letting go,” She said, allowing you to burrow back into her, and resuming her careful strokes on your back. She tester her cheek on the top of your head, humming out a random tune to help soothe you.
“You dyed your hair again,” Kelley mumbled, running her fingers through your newly brown hair. She felt you huff into her neck.
“It was just easier than listening to him bitch about it,” You grumbled. You had withstood his constant pressure for 4 days before you had given in. You had loved the different shades of blue that ran through your undercut, and you knew that Pino would tease you about how boring the Y/H/C your father had insisted on. You also knew that Kelley would never let you redye it, as she wanted to keep your hair healthy.
“Is that the same way your mom got your phone?” She joked, her lips quirking up at you. You were cute when you were clingy and grumbly, and it wasn’t a side to you that she got to see often. Your smile fade.
“No. That fucking cu-” You spat out, only stopping because of the light swat delivered to your butt.
“Hey. I know you’re upset but we don’t call people names,” Kelley said sternly, her smile also fading as she eyed you, waiting to see what you would do next. Carefully watching for your tells.
“It’s not name-calling if it’s true,” You spat out. The word you had chosen would have been nice compared to some of the words you wanted to use for her.
“Is that backtalk I hear little girl?” Kelley levels you with her stare, and you shrunk just a little.
“No,” You mumbled sadly, your shoulders slumping.
“You know what happens when you lie to me,” she raised her eyebrow at you.
“But Daddy” you wined loudly, throwing your head back.
“No buts,” She said softly, brushing a fallen hair away from your eyes.
 “I haven’t gotten to see you in eight days,” You pouting at the woman, who just gave you an unimpressed look. You leaned forward and resumed your hiding in the hollow of her neck.
“Yes, and you didn’t check in with me for 4 of those. I think that needs to be rectified doesn’t it?” She said slowly, and you felt a shiver run down your spine. You remembered what had happened the last time you and Alex had forgotten to check-in, and the amount of teasing you had endured from your teammates at the punishment they had chosen.
“Don’t want a spanking,” you grumbled into her neck, burying your nose in her soft skin. You took a few deep breaths, allowing her scent to settle you. The hand rubbing circles on your back froze. Now was the tough part. You weren’t generally this winey, but Kelley couldn’t say that she was surprised. Your family was a lot to handle, especially for little ones like you. So the question was If you were acting bratty to get a reaction from her? Or was it the only way you could release your built-up frustration?
“Do you need one though?” She asked you carefully. You thought about what you were feeling for a few seconds. You felt bad that you had let your family prevent you from communicating with Kelley, but you knew that it would have been nearly impossible to stop them. You also felt the shame and guilt your Father always imprinted upon you. You weren’t a good little wife for some CEO somewhere. He insisted that your place on the team would be short-lived and after you retired you would be screwed and he wouldn’t be there to pick up the pieces.
You knew that you needed a punishment, but spanking wasn’t it. What you were craving was for Kelley to hold you and tell you how good you were. To smother you in love and complements, but you couldn’t find the words to tell her that. Instead, you sighed and shook your head.
Kelley nodded back. She had been pretty sure of your answer before she asked the question, but communication was a hallmark of a good relationship. She was generally good at reading what you needed and wanted from your body language, but with you in such a fragile state, she didn’t want to risk being wrong. What you needed right now wasn’t a physical release, but instead, the contact and words of affirmation that you had been craving for the past week. She was almost positive that the only thing that would ease your mood was increased physical affection and reassurance that she loved you.
“OK, I think that because you didn’t communicate with me for 4 days, you should have to carry me around for that amount of time. What do you think darling?” She asked, brushing a strand of hair behind your ear. You smiled up at her. It was exactly what you needed. Well almost.
“Can I carry you to Alex’s room? Because her cuddles are almost as good as yours” You looked up at Kelly, fluttering your eyelashes. A smile broke across her face.
“I counter your baby horse cuddles with bathtub cuddles,” she smirked, bumping your noses together and placing a sweet kiss on her lips. She knew how much you loved baths with her. It would be the perfect way to get you to finally relax.
“With bubbles?” You questioned seriously. Not having bubbles was a dealbreaker, and an effective punishment incidentally.
“Of course baby girl, I think you’ve earned them” Kelly ran a soothing hand through your hair, smirking lightly when your lips poured in contemplation.
“To the bathtub!” You yelled, picking up the girl of your dreams. Kelley laughed at your goofiness. There would be time to deal with the aftermath of your family later, but for now, she would hold you and remind you that she was there and never leaving.
Feels Like This (Part 13)
Emma Swan is a once lost girl who is now making good. She has made a way in the world for her and her young son, Henry, and after years of hard work, Emma is in her last stretch of schooling for the career she’s always wanted. Unexpectedly, she finds herself in a tiny nation no one’s ever heard of for her last year of study. She knows nothing about the place except that it’s beautiful, has a world-renowned child life program, and is filled with possibility. Meanwhile, Prince Killian is hardly happy with the title he received at birth. As the second in line for the crown, Killian has long tried shaking his royal duties. He built a career in the royal navy, and has stayed out of the limelight, but his ship has been called to port indefinitely at the request of his brother, the King. Fate (in her many forms) brings Emma and Killian together and the resulting fic is a cute, fluffy, trope filled romp featuring heart felt moments, a healthy dose of insta-love and an assured happily ever after. Story rated M and will have 12 parts. Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9, Part 10, Part 11, Part 12. Available on FF Here and AO3 Here.
A/N: Hey everyone! I am so excited to be back with this story after the month I spent away, and I find it so wild that in that past month so much happened with royals in the actual world. I wouldn’t say it inspired this chapter at all, but it was cathartic to write a story where the Prince and Princess get a much healthier, more healing reception. I know how many of you love this fic, and it definitely has a special place in my heart as well. It’s been so important to me that I do the ending of this story justice, and so it took a bit of time to get my thoughts organized. This is one of the final chapters, and I only anticipate one more actual story installment and then maybe, someday far off in the future, an epilogue or two. That being said, this is a long-awaited milestone for CS and I have attempted to infuse all of my usual cuteness and romance. I hope that you all enjoy, I would love to hear what you think, and thank you all so much for reading!
Gazing out upon the overlook as the sun rose over the tree line in the Montenarran morning, Killian was comforted once more by the vastness of the world and the beauty that danced before him. The light shone with a color and vibrancy he’d come to know and love, but this morning the air hummed with languid layers of anticipation. Maybe it was Killian’s excitement and nerves, but he didn’t think so. No, if anything the world seemed to shimmer today, a sign from above that the timing was right and that he was ready to take this next big step.
The next time I visit this place, I’ll have Emma by my side, he thought to himself, soaking in the comfort of such a plan.
This was on his list of places to share with his Swan, but he reasoned that he had all the time in the world for such gifts. Today, though, he was planning to make that assumption a reality. For finally, after nearly three days of being parted from his love, he was planning to propose, in a way befitting a woman of Emma’s caliber.
Instinctively, Killian’s hand moved to his pocket, drawing out a small black box which held a ring inside. The ring was beautiful and ornate, an overt and ostentatious display of love, but one with inherent meaning. This was the ring his grandfather had given his Gran, a ring forged for the purpose of real and lasting love. It was not exchanged at their wedding, but instead in a private ceremony the two of them shared some weeks later. Their wedding had been arranged, but still they’d found real love. This ring was a gift, however, given at the turning point where Killian’s grandfather knew that his love for his new Queen was more than mere arrangement – it was true and totally transformative.
“Your brother, as reigning monarch, has full claim to your grandfather and my wedding bands, and he will make good use of them with his Elsa, I am utterly assured,” Gran had claimed some weeks back when she stole Killian for a private moment. On that night, she was serious and sincere, most of her deeply playful nature tucked aside for a brief window of time. She glanced at her the matrimonial ring she still wore, years after the death of her dearly departed husband before looking back to Killian with conviction and calm. “The love between them grows each day, and is befitting of what me and your grandfather shared. But this ring I’m giving you, Killy… this ring is something else altogether. This is magic made metal. This is perfectly genuine affection forged into precious gems.”
“It is gorgeous, Gran,” Killian agreed when she presented the ring to him. “But I can’t take something like this from you. Not when it means so much.”
“That’s why you must have it, Killy. If your Grandfather were here, he would say the same. This ring bound us in life, but now we are bound through so much more.”
For the first time in years, likely since the death of his grandfather himself, Killian watched as tears trickled down his Gran’s face. It instantly pierced his heart, for this was a woman who always showed strength. Even when he was on deployment and gone for years on end, his Gran persevered. She may grow misty eyed or get choked up, but tears were a whole different story. Only the memory of her husband could prompt them, and Killian thought to himself not for the first time that she had been so strong for so long, going on without him.
“Our love is forever, living, thriving, singing its song for now and for always. I miss him, every day, every moment, I wish that he was here, but someday we will have each other again. And in the meantime, this ring deserves another union. It was made to be passed through generations. I will confess that I wondered if anyone should ever be worthy of it, if love like ours would find its way here again. But I needn’t have doubted. You and Emma are made for each other, and it would be my honor for Emma to wear this.”
Killian agreed whole heartedly with his Grandmother’s explanation, and he knew no more beautiful stone could be found the world over. This ring bore a remarkable yellow diamond, encircled with smaller stones of the same rare hue. The exact shade sparkled in the sunlight, but almost seemed dipped in the golden glow of a summer’s afternoon. It was pristine and poetic, warm and well beyond the pale, reminding Killian of the highlights in Emma’s hair and the lilt of her laughter. Her joy was precious, more precious than any stone, but as he gazed upon the rock, it felt quintessentially designed for his Swan. It was happy and bright, bold and beautiful, and he knew, despite its flair and size, that Emma would love it.
The only thing left to do is ask her.
The thought breathed new life into Killian, even more so than the Montenarran morning, and he walked back through the forest paths towards the palace once more, energized and ready for the day ahead. He had everything planned and had been working on this for some time. There were many moving pieces, but he’d squared them all away. In the end he would see to it that this was perfect, for that was exactly what his Swan deserved.
Arriving at the palace just after the sunrise, Killian moved with purpose and precision. He had only a little bit of time, and much to accomplish.
“The last of the parcels have been delivered, Your Grace,” one attendant announced as Killian walked through the palace doors. “The bulk of them are here, as you see, though some are in the green house for obvious reasons.”
“Excellent, Jacque. Thank you.”
“I beg your pardon, Sir, it’s just… are you certain you don’t need help arranging things? It’s a significant amount of work here. The staff is happy to assist.”
“I appreciate that offer, Jacque, but I’ve got things well in hand. I’ve been planning this for some time.”
A thoughtful smile appeared at the older man’s face, one that broke the traditional polite protocol and spoke to how long he had known Killian and the royal family. “Of course, Sir. Well, in that case, best of luck.”
Killian took the well wishes to heart, knowing he had a massive task before him. Perhaps he could have given himself more time to bring all of these pieces together, but to him, it already felt like too much time had been wasted. He was more than ready for this next step with Emma, and after three days spent apart, not seeing each other in person, or sharing much more than a few texts and facetimes, he was particularly desirous to see this through. He had been strategizing on how to get this right for quite a while, and by now he knew each assignment down to the letter.
“I assume that your dismissal of Jacques offer goes for us as well?”
Killian glanced up, finding his mother on the stairwell. From here she was stately and elegant, a poised dowager Queen with refinement and grace, but as she descended, she became more herself, and by the time she was in front of Killian, taking his hand in hers, she was no more and no less than a wonderful mother. His greatest support for many years, and someone who he knew would give anything she could to make this moment special.
“It does, at least for this. But with the children arriving in a few hours’ time -,”
“Not to worry on that front,” his mother said cheerily, her own happiness at the thought of all the Institute’s residents coming to the palace for a special premiere outing. “Your Grandmother and I have all in hand, and Liam and Elsa are set to help us. It’ll be a day to remember.”
“Good,” Killian said, looking around and finding his Gran already in full form, instructing the staff as to the desires she had for the outdoor space. Through the glass of the palace’s wall of windows, her words were muddled, but the humor was clear as day. This woman, frail and aged from outward appearance, was a firecracker, ruling over the days designs with an iron fist. “Surprising that Liam is giving Gran such a wide berth.”
“Well how could he not? He’s yet to come down for the day. Hard to give orders from a distance.”
Killian let out a whistle, and laughed as his mother swatted his arm and ‘tutted’ his boyish actions. Knowing when enough was enough, he left unsaid the clear reason that his brother would choose to stay abed so late in the morning. Killian would stake his life on the fact that a certain guest was here within the palace, and that she likely made a visit of the overnight variety.
“What are the chances that Gran doesn’t know?” Killian asked and his mother shook her head.
“Zero.”
“And the likelihood that she will say something?”
“That’s still to be determined.” Killian was shocked at his mother’s genuine opinion. He, for one, thought it undoubtable that Gran would make mention of this moment, gleefully commenting on the need for royal heirs or some such outlandish claim. “Eleanor is direct and prone to speaking her mind, but she is also strategic. If the calculated risk of such a comment is too high, she will deny herself. She would never do anything to jeopardize your brother’s prospects.”
“You really think a smart comment from an old woman is enough to keep them apart?” Killian asked, thinking back on the few weeks that Liam and Elsa had shared since finding each other again. They had been as close to inseparable as the schedule of a King would allow. It was clear that they were both entirely invested, so much so that a royal announcement would be made in the coming days announcing their relationship.
“Not for a second.”
“So, if you know that, and I know that… surely Gran must know that.”
At that exact moment a maid was walking back into the house, opening the glass doors. From the outside they could hear his grandmother calling out to Liam and to Elsa, who had been discovered somewhere in the backyard. They no doubt were trying to be more discrete, but Gran seemed to have no interest in allowing them that privacy.
“Oh Lord, it’s time,” Meera said with a mix of worry and also amusement. Her eyes were alight with the humor of the moment, but also the very real awkwardness that may soon transpire. “I best get out there and spare them from what I can.”
Killian nodded, but wasn’t ready for the impact of his mother’s arms around him squeezing tight. It was not in any way part of the royal protocol, but his family never paid much mind to that. Still, this was a big hug, one that was obviously filled with tremendous meaning.
“I’m so proud of you, my darling. You’ll give her everything she deserves, and the two of you will be happy. So wonderfully, beautifully happy.”
“Thanks, Mum. Love you,” he whispered, accepting her soft kiss on his cheek and her shared words of love in kind before she dashed off to help his elder brother. A Queen should never move so quickly, but then again, Gran could do quite a bit of damage in the seconds it would take to get from here to there. For his part, Killian only chuckled to himself before heading to the side of the palace towards the gardens for the day.
The next few hours were defined by attention to detail and purposeful precision. Before meeting Emma, Killian could safely say he never imagined the lengths and planning required for a proper proposal. The idea was so intangible, so unnecessary in his estimations, that he never dwelled on even the possibility. It seemed unlikely that his heart would ever be touched in that way. He assumed he’d go through life a bachelor, or worse yet, that he’d cave to eventual pressure and say yes to something arranged and designed without feeling or passion. Luckily for him he had escaped such a fate, and instead had been steered through the grace of all things good towards a woman who was far and away the most remarkable he’d ever met.
Emma was rare and extraordinary. He had known it from their first meeting, and he continued to hold onto this truth every day they were together. There was never a moment when he didn’t realize his good fortune, or when he took her presence in his life for granted. Emma had revived him. She anchored him into the goodness of the world, and she showed him what could be. She expanded his horizons, even brought with her a son, another key part of a growing family, and by her side, Killian felt like he was capable of anything.
He only hoped that the elements he’d gathered today would translate as he imagined they could. This was a memory in the making that could only be shared once. Killian wanted to be sure that it was what Emma wanted and deserved. Luckily, he’d had help and more than a little bit of intel, mostly provided by Henry and from a few other insiders who knew Emma best of all.
“Are all systems a go, Captain?”
As if he’d conjured Henry with the grateful thought of all the boy had done for him, he turned now to find Emma’s son in the garden. Killian watched as the lad took in their surroundings, his eyes growing wide, and his whispered ‘this is so cool’ a welcome sign that Killian’s efforts had not been for nothing. He stood from where he’d been bent down, tidying up the last of his efforts, and when he gazed upon it himself, he had to say he was happy with the outcome.
“Aye, Lieutenant. All the necessary components are accounted for.”
“Good. She’s going to lose it. In a good way though,” Henry said with a smile which burned bright.
“Is everyone arrived then?” Killian asked and Henry shook his head.
“Soon, but not just yet. Anna and I have been here for a while now. Gran needed help with the game set up, but I asked if I could see you first.”
The look of wonder and happiness that had clung to Henry since arriving colored to something a bit more pensive. The shift gave Killian some pause for the first time all day. “Everything all right, lad?”
“Everything’s great, I just – well I was wondering – I mean if Mom says yes – or rather when she says yes, because she’ll totally say yes, it’s just that, well I – I was wondering…”
“No need to be worried, Henry,” Killian said, placing a hand on the boy’s shoulder. “Whatever you have to ask me, I’m here to help. You have my word I will make it right.”
“I know. And you’ll love Mom forever, right?”
“Aye, lad. Forever and then some.”
“And you love me too,” Killian’s heart clenched as he automatically nodded.
“Yes, Henry. I love you both, undoubtedly.”
“And we’re going to be a family.”
Killian didn’t know what to say. Down to his bones he knew that they would be. He was confident in this union between him and Emma. They had made promises already, declarations of love. He would give anything to be her husband, and he knew that someday he would be, but to say it aloud to her son when Emma herself hadn’t had a chance to even be asked was something else entirely.  In the end, he decided to just go with his gut.
“In my heart, we already are.” Henry beamed up at him, the worry of the moment melting away. Still, Killian never imagined what he’d say next.
“Well then I was hoping that maybe, when you and Mom are married, maybe I could call you Dad?”
Killian was overwhelmed with the request. It was something he had wished for, but didn’t want to press. He knew Henry had no memories of his biological father, but he never wanted to assume. It was a massive move for a young man to ask such a question, but Killian’s answer to the query was instant and heartfelt.
“I would be honored, lad.”
“Cool,” Henry said happily, brimming with the excitement he’d had since Killian first told him about his plan to propose to Emma.
Henry moved forward, hugging Killian with the affection of an earnest hearted ten-year-old, and Killian savored it, knowing he would always see Henry as his son. He may not be his blood, but he lay claim to a large piece of Killian’s heart. He silently swore to always do right by Henry. To protect him and to teach him what he could. But mostly he would support him, and show love to Henry and his mother all the days of his life. Before Killian could speak to more of that, the sound of busses pulling up, and happy children streaming onto palace grounds wafted through the air. The time had come. This was the moment.
“You know the plan, son?” Killian asked, the word slipping off his tongue so easily, and bringing real joy to Henry’s eyes.
“Aye, aye, Captain. I’ll have Mom to you in five minutes. You can time me.”
Killian might have laughed at the fervor and excitement Henry shared, but unfortunately, five minutes waiting in a moment like this felt like a lifetime away. The only thing that got him through were the last-minute adjustments, and the journey that was needed from where he was, to where they’d start their memorable afternoon. Finally, the moment came where Killian was waiting at the start of the hedgerow, even further from the festivities and he could hear the woman he loved, unaware of his being here.
“Henry, seriously, what’s going on? The party’s only just starting. We have time for a tour later. We can go with the others.”
“Trust me Mom, this can’t wait.”
“What is it Henwy?” a tiny voice Killian would know anywhere asked. Cecelia was with them, another sign from above that his plans were moving the way he wanted.
“Something magical,” Henry said and Killian could hear the sharp trill of an excited little girl.
“Like fairies?”
“Just wait, you’ll see.”
“Something magical, huh?”  Emma parroted, but at that moment they all stepped into view.
Three days may be but a blip in time to some, but to Killian it had felt like an eternity. The peace he now experienced at seeing his Swan again was profound, and somehow she was even more stunning than when he’d left her. The day’s light shone in her hair and in her smile. She was gorgeous and relaxed, dressed in a delicate pink sun dress designed to tease and torment. Her radiance outshone every flower in this garden, and in the moments before she saw him, he soaked in the sight of her. God she was beautiful, too beautiful to properly behold. His heart skipped and his muscles tightened, and then her eyes landed on him and he was whole.  The world was righted once more, and all because Emma saw him and felt the same pull he felt emanating from his chest. The surprise in her eyes was evident, followed immediately by relief, and joy, and love, and all of it was too sweet a call to resist. He moved towards her and the children, sending up one last prayer in this critical moment.
Please let her be mine. I swear I’ll deserve her. Whatever it takes.  For I am hers, body and soul, and I always will be.
………………
God he’s gorgeous, Emma thought instinctively upon finding Killian at the far end of the garden hedge. That thought was followed closely by, Wait, what is he doing here?
“Killy!” Cecelia cried out happily, letting go of Emma and Henry’s hands and sprinting towards him. Emma watched as Killian crouched down, accepting the hug from the little girl who effortlessly stole their hearts. He closed his eyes momentarily, soaking in the moment, and then he pulled back and pushed some of her wayward curls from Cecelia’s eyes, smiling at her with genuine affection.
“Good morning, little love. How are you finding the palace?” Emma’s heart clenched in her chest in the best way. He was just so sweet with her. He always had been.
“It’s so so good,” Cecelia replied, bringing a laugh out of all of them.
At the little girl’s enthusiastic endorsement, Killian thanked Cecelia and then stood once more, looking at Emma with those captivating blue eyes and that charming smile that always took her breath away. She was still trying to fathom his presence here. They had spent the last few days apart, days she found so much more difficult to manage than she expected, but he wasn’t set to return for a few more days. Liam had sent him on state business. She didn’t press for details, assuming it was confidential, but now, she was curious as to this wonderful turn of events. Before she could ask though, he walked over to her, taking her into his arms and kissing her surely. She leaned into this embrace, loathed to let him go, but he seemed to remember they were in the presence of little eyes. It was a fleeting kiss, but still invigorating all the same.
“I don’t understand. You’re supposed to be away the rest of the week.”
“I hope you’ll forgive my brother for that white lie,” Killian said, his hand coming up to scratch at his ear in that subtle show of bashfulness she’d witnessed a time or two. “If you’ll recall I never actually confirmed an itinerary, having sworn never to lie to you again.”
“So, you weren’t on a… huh, let’s see, how did Liam put it? A ‘mission for the future of the nation’ then?”
“Not exactly. But then again, in some ways, that’s exactly where I was. Do you trust me, love?”
Emma nodded, and watched as his smile grew warmer. She knew that it meant to him to have her trust, but in her eyes, he had earned it ten times over. Killian was a good man – the best man she knew – and he made her feel safe. Of course she trusted him. She had never trusted anyone this much before.
“In that case, I’ve some things to show you. Henry, you’ll be sure to hold down the fort in the meantime?”
Emma looked over to her son, and only now realized that this was all planned somehow. Her boy looked pleased as punch, and even sent a salute Killian’s way. “Yes sir. And Cecelia will help, wont’ you Ceci?” The little girl nodded, joyously, thrilled at the prospect of helping. “We’ll see you both soon.”
Killian nodded, leading Emma in the direction of the garden. The further they moved into the hedgerow, the quieter it became, until the only songs around them were those of birds and breeze. Emma was amazed at all of this, but she was also still wrapped up in his return. It felt so good to be back with her hand in his, the glow of his presence enveloping her. She’d never missed someone like she had the past few days, never ached this way to be reunited with someone. It was a testament to all she felt for him and how much she’d come to love him. Quietly she stopped walking, pulling Killian’s attention. With a quick glance behind them, she saw no one had followed. They were totally alone and so she made her move. Pulling him down for another kiss, she said a proper hello, and shivered in delight at his reaction.
His hands were on her, seemingly everywhere, holding her close as they tasted each other. She felt his soft dark hair between her fingers, where she ran them through by the nape of his neck. She arched in closer, feeling the friction of their bodies together, and sighing in pleasure when they pulled apart. It couldn’t go further than that, but Emma felt more secure having shown him even in a small way how happy she was to see him.
“Hell of a welcome home, love,” he growled out, words low and throaty from his own swirling emotion. “If leaving wasn’t torture in itself, I’d consider more trips just for this.”
“No need to leave for these,” she whispered to him, leaning in for another kiss but then nipping him gently instead and stepping back out of his grasp. She smiled at his evident frustration, and laughed when he groaned in defeat. He knew he was had, but from the way he pulled her back into his arms, running his hand along the small of her back and looking at her adoringly, he didn’t seem to mind.
“You are a marvel, love. Have I mentioned that yet?”
“Maybe once or twice,” she teased, looking back to where they’d been walking and giving him silent permission to lead to their destination once more. “It’s beautiful out here.”
Beautiful was an understatement. In truth, Emma had never seen such intricate floral designs or such an array of colors and flower species. She had to imagine it was more than a palace garden. This had to be one of the most beautiful botanical spaces in all of Europe.
“Much of that is my mother’s doing. Her passion project, so to speak. She brought us out here when we were boys. Showed us bits and bobs. But this has always been hallowed grounds. Special, and perhaps, as Henry hinted, a little magical as well.”
Emma was poised to reply, but at that moment they turned a corner and things changed. They were still in a garden, but this time – oh lord it was difficult to describe. Magnificent was the first word that came to mind, and ethereal came soon after. For where there were blossoms and buds before, now there even more, hanging from pergolas above and winding through ivy vines on every hedge. Some were clearly naturally placed, but Emma noticed pieces woven into this area that she’d seen before, half a world away.
“Windchimes,” she murmured, looking at the gorgeous displays that reminded her of home.
There was a storefront, totally discrete from the street view and far off of the beaten path, deep in the heart of Chinatown, that she and Henry had found when he was younger. It was filled with artisan chimes and motifs and mobiles made from natural items and glass and more. The owners were amazing and known in crafting circles around the globe. The first day Emma and Henry visited taking refuge from a sudden winter chill, the couple who owned the store had taken the time to walk her son through their work. They’d then spent hours in the studio, and though Emma had very little by way of money for a purchase, they’d showed her and Henry nothing but the utmost kindness. She’d always found the pieces beautiful, comprised of shells and flecks of crystal or silver and gold, swirled into constellations that evoked a night sky or sense of wonder.
Over the years she and Henry returned to the studio many times, and even bought a few pieces when she could save enough to treat herself to something precious. There was so much beauty crafted in each piece. Emma always found herself wanting more, and she loved their trips back over and over again. The style  of this artwork was one of a kind. Emma had never seen other pieces like these, but here, in this patch of the garden, there had to be a hundred intricate, delicate, interrelated art pieces dancing in the wind.
“How is this possible?”
“Henry may have mentioned something. Do you like it?”
“It’s gorgeous. God, the time it must have taken to put this all together…”
“Was time well spent, believe me, love.” Emma looked to him and she could have sworn from the look in his eyes and the tone of his voice that he was the one who had done this. But that was crazy. How could he have possibly had time for all this?
“But how did it all even get here?”
“I brought it.”
“You brought it?” Emma asked, stunned, her fingertips grazing the smoothed lines of one art piece dripping in sea glass. “You were in New York.”
“Aye.”
“But why?”
“Patience, love. There’s more to see.”
Emma had no idea how there could possibly be more, but she tucked her arm through Killian’s and walked with him to the next section of gardens. Here there was a sudden burst of purples and whites, and a scent she’d been missing without even realizing it. Lilacs, but none of them in season. Oh God, look at all of them.
“Killian,” she whispered, looking at what must have been thousands of bouquets of her favorite flower. It was unbelievable, but it was real, and she moved forward, seeing them all set up and displayed prominently in the midst of a garden with white roses. It was gorgeous and surreal. And now she was utterly dazed and more than a little confused.
“You and Henry are well known at the Brooklyn gardens love, as I’m sure you are well aware. I had it on good authority from a woman named Ella that lilacs are your particular favorite.”
“These can’t all be from there,” Emma said and Killian shook his head.
“No, these are admittedly sourced from a few specialty purveyors across the continent. But this,” he pulled out a polaroid of a small lilac tree that was recently planted. Looking at the surroundings, Emma realized that was outside Killian’s home here in Montenarro. “This is directly from the gardens. The same family and strain, all the way from New York.”
Emma was too shocked to speak, and felt the tears welling in her eyes. He had done so much for her, and she knew it was for one reason. He wanted to bring part of her home, part of a place that meant so much to Henry and her, here to his home. It was so thoughtful she felt tongue tied. What could she say? This was all so much.
Unbelievably there was even more, and over the next few minutes he took her through three more break away gardens, each filled with other staples of her one-time home. Food and culture and memories and more. This man had managed to find all of the best parts of her time in New York and he had brought them here. Some of them were things completely out of the realm of possibility.
“I can’t believe you found this,” Emma said, holding onto a years-old piece of construction paper that had been forgotten to time.
This picture was one of so many projects that her son had made in life, but Emma cherished the memories that went with it. Another example of the city’s serendipity, this painting chronicled a day of adventure for Emma and Henry. They’d wandered all through the city, and ended up in Queens for a special summer program for kids. She was always looking for magic moments for Henry, especially ones designed for a budgeting single Mom, and this one had delivered. There were story times and games, crafts and activities, and Henry had been thrilled. He made this picture of the two of them, and though it looked nothing like Emma, it had captured her heart. It also caught the eye of the librarians working that day and they’d selected it to put on the wall in the Children’s wing. Henry was oh so proud, his four-year-old heart filled with joy at getting to hang his art somewhere aside from their refrigerator door. It meant something to Emma, another example of her doing her best by her boy, and giving him all that she’d never had.
“There was a picture of you and Henry and this particular masterpiece in the Saturday Times.”
“Okay now how could you possibly know that?”
“Your neighbor, Mrs. Hubbard. She was very forthcoming, and she’d saved the article. Has it framed and everything.”
“You spoke to Mrs. H?” Emma asked completely bewildered, and Killian nodded. “And the library had it all this time?”
“Aye. In the archives. Nothing a few strategically planned favors couldn’t procure.”
“I don’t deserve this,” Emma said, letting the tears finally fall. This was all too much, but she was immediately comforted by the feel of Killian’s strong arms. His hand came to cup her cheek, his thumb wiping some of the tears as he shook his head, his eyes full of earnest feeling and emotion.
“That’s where you’re wrong, love. You deserve every good thing the world over. I know it’s presumptuous for a man like me to ask for such a treasure, but I swear to you I’ll spend my life giving everything I can.”
“I already have everything. I have you, and Henry,” Emma said. “This is beautiful, but it’s nothing to you.”
Killian hummed out a sigh of contentment, but where Emma expected a kiss, she watched instead as he pulled back, reaching for something in his pocket. “I was hoping you’d feel this way. Makes this next part a bit less nerve wracking.”
In a smooth gesture, he pulled out a small black box and lowered to the ground. Watching Killian drop down to one knee here in the gardens, Emma felt totally adrift from all cares of the world. She was stunned and yet deeply aware that this had all been a long time coming. There was no doubt in her heart that she loved Killian, and she held no fear over taking this next step. This man had shown her for months that he genuinely cared for her and her son. He would move mountains for them, if only for a possibility of their happiness. He was selfless and loyal and true, and he made her brave, emboldening her to believe that the risk was worth it. Love was worth it. Still, it was shocking, to be adored so deeply, and to know that someone truly felt the world began and ended with her.
“Emma, I realize that this is perhaps soon by some standards, but believe me when I say that I have been aching to ask you this question since the moment we met.”
More tears formed in her eyes, thinking back on that day. Her world had truly shifted in the span of one morning. There was a time before Killian, before romantic love that ever made her hopeful, and then there was more. It all started at the center, but it built well beyond those four walls. Knowing what she did now, she had to call their encounter what it had been – love at first sight. Maybe she hadn’t admitted it then, and surely she hadn’t said it aloud, but that is what transpired. She took one look at this man, this extraordinary, incredible man, and she was hooked, plain and simple.
“You amazed me then, that first day at the Institute. I didn’t realize anyone like you could truly be real, or that I was capable of forming an attachment with such strength. I had seen too much, I reasoned, knew the darkness of the world in ways that may leave me lacking for the rest of my days. I thought such chances at something halfway near normal were beyond me, but those first sparks between us proved me wrong. I was totally ensnared, caught in a web you couldn’t help for making, and still, that immediate response can’t compare to all I feel now. Knowing you – loving you – I am more certain each and every day that you hold my heart in your hand. I am yours, Emma. I have been yours, and I will remain yours all the days of my life.”
There was absolutely no chance at stopping from crying now, but the sensation was one of happiness. She was actually living a fairytale. Her, the once lost girl who never had a nickel to her name, or a friend to keep her going. She had survived the cruelest affairs of the heart. She had been so terribly and tragically alone, but she persisted, and she learned, through the grace of her son, and the courage of her convictions, to live. Now with Killian she was starting anew, building up the small life she’d shared with Henry into something much bigger. To say she was exited at the prospect was an understatement.
“Emma Swan, will you -,”
“I want to adopt Cecelia!” Emma said abruptly, blurting out a seemingly unrelated fact in the middle of what had been the most beautiful proposal. She was mortified, but only for a moment. Because the smile on Killian’s face calmed the storm inside her.
“Ah, right. You see, I had anticipated that, though in the interest of full disclosure I envisioned this part of the conversation after your reply to the proposal. Regardless, I offer you this, love.”
Emma watched as he juggled the ring and instinctively she took it, holding the box and sparing another glance at the absolutely beautiful band. Her fingers itched to put it on now, but she knew it would be so much better to let Killian do the honors. She then watched in amazement as he pulled out a series of papers from inside his jacket. He opened the file containing them all and showed her an application for adoption. The child in question was Cecelia, and the forms listed both Emma and Killian as petitioning guardians. Now she was completely overwhelmed. He knew every single part of her. Every hope. Every dream. He was perfect.
“Family is so much more than blood, Swan, as we both know, and I think we’ve known for sometimes that Cecelia will always be our princess.”
“Yes,” Emma whispered. Yes to everything, yes to all of it.
“I’ve also spoken to Henry, not intentionally per se, wanting to speak with you first, but it would mean the world to adopt him as well. I don’t know how you’d feel about that, but I-,”
“Yes,” she said again, this time with even more conviction.
“Yes?” he asked with a hopeful grin and she nodded. “Well in that case. May I, love?”
She handed him the papers which he put down beside them with care. Emma watched as he took the ring box back from her other hand. He settled down on bended knee again, preparing himself for another attempt at asking her to marry him. It took everything in her to bite her tongue and let him actually get the request out.
“Emma Swan, love of my life, light of my spirit, and queen of my heart, will you please do me the honor of becoming my wife.”
“Yes.”
Everything from there went quickly as he slipped the ring on her finger, tossing the box without care to the group. Killian was up at full height in mere moments, pulling her in for a scorching kiss and Emma was complete. It may not have been a totally according to plan proposal, but Emma believed what they had was even better, because it was real and true and filled with so much love. She could think of no better way to start a beautiful forever, and when they pulled back, resting their foreheads against each other and soaking in the moment, Emma let out a sigh of sheer relief. This was what they meant when they said happily ever after, and it was so very worth the wait.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy,” Emma murmured aloud.
“Neither have I,” an emotional voice said – only it wasn’t Killian. The voice continued. “Truly beautiful.”
“Gran,” Killian muttered shaking his head. Emma bit her lip and covered her mouth. They had absolutely just been caught out here, but when they both turned to see their unexpected audience, consisting of Killian’s family, Elsa and Anna, and Henry and Cecelia, a different person outside of all the rest, was revealed to be the culprit.
“You take that back, Killian, for you know better than that,” Gran said, standing beside a dressed up and dazzling looking Mrs. Hubbard. Mr. Hubbard was there too, his hand on Henry’s shoulder and his leg being held onto by a very friendly Cecelia. Emma never expected to see her dear, sweet neighbors. Their appearance here in Montenarro left her floored.
“My new friends are a treat, believe me,” Gran continued, walking forward, and seemingly giving everyone else the silent permission to do the same. “But their spying skills need work. I would never speak through such a moment, nor rustle these hedges with quite so much gusto. Not to worry though, they’ll learn.”
Everyone descended in that moment to wish them all well, but the most important reactions came from Henry and from Cecelia. The happiness of both of these kids – their kids – gave Emma tremendous joy and satisfaction. She was also thrilled to share this with their blended family, and with the friends who had become such strong bonds in her new life. After much congratulations, everyone returned to the party, and an announcement was made. If Emma believed the reaction to be enthusiastic from her loved ones, it was even bolder from all of the children at the center. Indeed, the happiness and infectious sense of hope made for the best party any of them had ever been to, and created an afternoon like none she’d ever experienced.
Hours later, Emma was still reeling from the high, and loving the fact that she and Killian had stayed together all day. He’d never let her go after her saying yes, always beside her, supporting her, adoring her, and loving her endlessly. She was so happy with him, but as the day drew to a close, her spirits dampened slightly. In his usual form, Killian caught on immediately.
“What’s the matter, love?” he asked, sure that no one else was listening, even though they were still amidst the party.
“Nothing,” Emma said automatically, though that was only half true. “This is one of the best days of my life. It’s just… the waiting…”
“Aye, I’ve considered that too. But I think I’ve arrived at a workable solution.” Emma looked at him curiously. “I will submit for a special license from the crown. The King and I are on decent terms you see.”
“Decent, huh?” Emma teased, looking over at Liam and finding him swaying with Elsa on a makeshift dance floor. There wasn’t even any music playing, but to this happy couple, and to the children dancing nearby, that didn’t matter in the slightest.
“He’s been in better spirits of late, as you might imagine.”
“Seems to be going around.”
“Mmm,” Killian hummed out, running his hand along her cheek and looking at her with sincerity and bliss. “We can have everything arranged in a week. It’ll be quite the undertaking, but the staff is up to the challenge.”
“A week?” Emma said, not believing it. Surely it must take longer than that, but she loved the idea. In truth, she’d marry him right now if she could. “Can we really do that?”
“Just say the word, Emma.”
“Yes,” she said nodding. “It’s crazy. Actually it’s totally insane, but yes, please, yes.”
“As you wish,” he replied kissing her again under the party lights and lighting her aflame once more. “In the meantime, I’ve no wish to be apart. We should be together, love, as long as that’s what you want.”
“I do.”
“Everything’s ready. I’ve been working for weeks on it. The rooms for Henry, for Cecelia, all of it. It’s merely a matter of moving your things in, all of which can be done tonight.”
“You’re serious?” Emma asked and he nodded.
“A magistrate’s already granted temporary custody for Cecelia. You can take her home now while the process continues. Please, love, say you’ll all come home to me.”
Emma looked over to Henry and to Cecelia, who were dancing together on the floor. Emma watched as her son already took so well to his new sister, and as if she’d conjured his attention, Henry glanced her way. He waved, a sign that Emma returned. Drawing attention to them set Cecelia in motion, and soon the little girl was dragging Henry across the party. Soon enough they were back together, the four of them a new but undoubtedly permanent unit. Cecelia jumped into Killian’s arms, and Henry came to Emma’s side looking up with his knowing expression.
“What’s up, Mom?” he asked and Emma smiled, unable to resist pulling him and pressing a kiss to the crown of his head.
“How would you feel about moving to Killian’s house -,”
“Our house,” Killian stressed and Emma chuckled.
“Sorry, our house, tonight?”
“That would be awesome!” Henry said excitedly. “Can we do that?”
“Aye.”
“And me too?” Cecelia asked hopefully.
“Yes, honey, you too,” Emma said, brushing a stray curl from Cecelia’s face. The kids made their feelings known. They were in, totally and completely. “Well I guess we have our answer then.”
“Aye, love. The best of answers, all around.”
And so, later that night, when the festivities of the day had ended, and the children all departed, Emma and Killian, Henry and Cecelia all headed home together, enjoying their first night in a place that would always be theirs. And though Emma knew they were in for a crazy week of planning and party design, and wedding wildness, she was truly joyful. For this was a life beyond her wildest dreams, and she knew, deep down to her core, that it was going to be breathtaking.
Post-Note: So… what did you think? Personally, I found it SO cathartic to write this scene. It’s been such a long time coming and I have pictured this outcome for Emma and for Killian even before writing the first word of this story. Almost a year ago to the day this story came to me, and my hope is to write out the final chapter by the one year anniversary in early May. Hopefully it won’t take quite so long, but please know that it has been a joy to write this and share with all of you. I hope this chapter and this fic have brought some brightness to your world and some magic to your moment. This has been an insane time, but I’ve been grateful to share it with all of you. Anyway, hope you all enjoyed, and I’d love to hear what your hopes for the end of this story are. Until next time, wishing you all well and healthy and safe! xE.
HARRY HART/ ORIGINAL CHARACTER M/F
WARNINGS: Mature, Smut, light D/s, lust
Words: 7600
SUMMARY Harry and Gwendolyn, after getting acquainted with each other, share a rare evening alone together in the Kingsman lounge. What starts out as an innocent challenge and a glass of scotch, leads Harry to teach a lesson on the finer points of the gentleman spy's art of seduction.
NOTES: This is part of my main series for KINGSMAN 3, but since this is the chapter with sexy gentleman spy Harry Hart combined with smut that many of us like the most, I decided to also separate it so it's easy to find and read on it's own. If you're looking for the whole story, check out my other fics. Still in progress though
------
After working months at his side, whether it be in the field, during training, debriefing in his office, or simply occupying the same space in quieter moments, reading in the lounge with a cup of tea, enjoying a few precious moments of peace, Gwendolyn was no closer at deciphering the gorgeous mystery that was Harry Hart. Her time with him merely reinforced what she already knew. And what she knew had, much to her chagrin, become increasingly and disconcertingly distracting with every moment she shared space with him. He was beautiful, obviously. She determined that the moment she saw him. Even from a distance, he cut a striking figure. But is was the understated way he acknowledged his own appearance, knew that it was pleasing and accepted it with grace, dignity and a matter-of-factness, that only made him more attractive.
His appeal wasn’t just based on his good looks. There were other men who had more classically balanced features. It was significantly more than good genes or the symmetry of bone structure. Not that his purely physical attributes were lacking in any regard. She had already committed to memory every aspect of his form and figure, from his hair, with a distinguished flurry of silver, all the way down to his feet in their gleaming oxfords. No doubt polished with every wearing; they carried him with purposeful movement and long measured strides.
Harry was a tall man. She would never forget the first choke hold he put her in. Often folding his legs as gracefully as possible under tables and desks that were just a breath too short to accommodate a man of his stature. He carried himself differently. Always with a posture, walk, a gait, that had a purpose.  Never rushed unnecessarily, he possessed the ease of someone in full control of his physical body. His movements were light, sharp, and kinetic. When he was still, he held himself straight and tall, without strain. In more casual moments, his weight would shift to one side or the other, or he might lean against a support, breaking up the long, precise lines of his full height.
Mostly, this had to do with a hyper awareness of his environment and his place in it. If he needed to calm a new recruit, he might stand with authority, but tuck his hands in his pockets, conveying a sense of ease and familiarity. When confronting an adversary, his stature seemed to grow as he pulled himself to his full height.  In those rare moments where he was free from personal and professional obligations responsibilities, as much as he could ever be, his figure would take on smooth curves and relaxed angles. The space he occupied was his to claim, mold, and manipulate. And he did so with his body, his voice, his gaze, his way of dress.
Surprisingly, she discovered that Harry was a man who often communicated through physical touch. As a man of few words, who often guarded his privacy and personal life, she expected him to be even more reserved with his body language, to be even more wary of close physical contact. Quite the contrary, he was often more generous with a hand on the shoulder or a gentle pat on the back as a form of approval or encouragement. Sometimes, he would place his hand over an agents as gesture of support and understanding. He was more demonstrative with contact and touch than he was with using words of praise or comfort. Even his proximity, whether it be as a figure in the distance or his physical closeness, could affect the energy of the room.
Rolling it over in her mind, she realised that it made sense that Harry would be comfortable communicating through touch. In some regards, he was a very tactile man, a sensual man, if not overtly so. He was a man that celebrated the senses.
In his office, though minimalist by Kingsman standards, austere even, there were touches of extravagance not influenced by tradition. All the furniture, as well as being beautifully made, focused on designs that were hospitable as well as functional. The chairs were comfortable. The lounge was upholstered in a dark, rich leather, well oiled and worn smooth by years of use. It was masculine, but also soft and inviting, a piece that you could relax and sink into.  A sumptuous throw. Pillows covered in dark velvet that were actually soft, not just decorative.
The items that did adorn his office were obviously selected thoughtfully and with care. The enticingly smooth curves of a vase, seemingly out of place, brilliant jade against the subdued tones of hunter green, tartans and plaid and the deep tones of polished wood and leather. The delicate lines and breathtaking color of a framed butterfly.  A small, sterling silver paperweight in the shape of a terrier. A cut crystal decanter, with matching tumblers, no doubt holding an insanely old and very expensive scotch.
There was an emphasis, not on the prestige or price of an object, but on its, color, texture, lines that were pleasing or challenging to the eye. Not as a flaunting of wealth, but a source of pleasure. It wasn’t an ostentatious display of the rich, It was the luxury of selection and taste. Any piece of clothing or fabric that touched his body directly was often luxurious, as well, scarfs, gloves, fine cashmere or calfskin leather. Though she had no way of knowing, she assumed his sheets would be of the highest thread count.
His manner of dress was immaculate and as precise as the polished, clipped tones of his aristocratic accent. He presented himself as a man who was self-assured with his appearance. Whatever he wore, he wore with confidence. He wore it well, without vanity, pretension, ego or conceit. Not that he needed the help of his wardrobe to face the world. His manner of dress seemed to highlight, magnify his innate sense of self.  He was not a flashy man, but he appreciated the expert craftsmanship that went into a finely cut suit. That good clean lines, quality materials, understated but interesting details could be the final polish on an already finely honed presentation.
His clothing was the other area where he allowed himself some extravagance. A firm believer in the principle that if one’s self and surroundings are not only presentable, but impeccable, then one will always be prepared for what surprises life may decide to throw in one’s direction. In his line of work, unpredictability was as predictable as the sun rising in the east and setting in the west. His wardrobe countered the erratic nature of life as an agent.  Thus, his was a look of man who had his life in order.
He was a man of consistency. His tie was an unfailing full Windsor, tucked under the spread collar of a pristine white shirt. An equally crisp pocket square, folded neatly, peeked from his breast pocket. French cuffs were secured with custom gold links, bearing the Kingsman insignia. His suits were mostly double breasted, in classic shades of black, charcoal, navy and grey and cut in a wool that was appropriate for the occasion, whether solid, pinstriped, or woven with a pattern such as herringbone, or houndstooth. After years as a Kingsman agent, he had amassed a considerable and varied wardrobe that consisted of classic suits, formal wear, overcoats, ties, scarves, for any occasion or any type of mission. Each Kingsman agent also wore a gold signet ring on the pinky of their dominant hand. Harry wore the ring on his right.
Kingsman suits were cut close to the body, but designed with allowances made to accommodate weapons, ensure manoeuvrability and flexibility in all types of action. They were also bulletproof. It was a feature created after decades of experimenting with different textiles and weaves and exploring processes and techniques that would result in a material that could withstand the velocity and impact of of a bullet shot at close range. The lightweight, flexible lining was sewn into every Kingsman suit and many times proved to be a lifesaver.
Shoulder harnesses were used for carrying. Not belt clips. Belts constricted the body whereas a harness allowed freedom of movement. They were also easily and quickly detachable in case they needed to be removed. Belts, on the other hand, though they had their uses, could also cost valuable seconds when needed to be taken off. The carry position prevented printing and maintained the lines of Kingsman’s suits.
The fine, bespoke tailoring emphasized Harry’s height and build. Trousers were slim cut, long and hemmed with a perfect mid break. He preferred the simple Oxford rather than brogues. His shoes would glow with a mellow shine. He styled his hair in a classic, handsome cut, and was always clean shaven, (unless in the field where there was no opportunity for a straight razor shave). His aftershave and cologne were unobtrusive but memorable. Rather than preceding him, the warm and masculine sent of woods and spices, with hints of cardamon, the tactile sensuality of rich leather and suede, would linger after his departure, like a layer of warm dark velvet. Even his hands were beautiful. Beautiful but not delicate. Large wide palms, long elegant fingers, his nails were neat and clipped. They sometimes bore the marks of time spent in the field. They were strong and capable.
Overall, he had the appearance of a man who embraced classics, honoured tradition, but defined his look with his own individual aesthetic personality and sense of style.
In quieter moments, when she had the opportunity to watch him without being too obvious or call attention to herself, she allowed her curiosity to wonder over all the small details and mannerism that were unique to Harry. How his fingertips would gently find the arm of his glasses and rest lightly there, when he was thoughtful or pondering a question, as if it helped him focus or think.  The automatic gesture probably developed after years of transmitting information through the eyeglasses, which also functioned as communication devices.  Through her experience in human psychology, she recognised this as a self soothing gesture. Finding the comfort of something familiar. She was fairly sure that Harry was aware of this gesture and allowed himself some habits, that were, not particularly productive but, helpful nonetheless. Rubbing his thumb along the band of his signet ring. The way he would always shoot his cuffs when rising from his seat. Or run the palm of his hand along the back of his head, smoothing down the already polished hair.
Never had she met someone who had the ability to asses and evaluate any given situation as throughly and unerringly as Harry. Whether it entailed clearing a room, identifying a mark, or even just something as simple as slowing his pace when she walked along side him so she wouldn’t have to struggle to keep up. He was constantly aware of his surroundings and deconstructing what needed to happen to make the environment more pleasing, the conversation more engaging, the meeting more productive, the mission more likely to succeed. He was nothing if not thoughtful. Thus when she walked with him, he always slowed and allowed her to maintain her own graceful stride.
His physical appearance, his exacting nature, his precise moments, his carefully maintained wardrobe, his formal patterns of speech, his refined accent, not to mention his good looks could intimidate even the most confident agent, let alone a green one.  That was until the person in question realised that this outward perfection was merely the layer that he presented to the world.
It would seem impossible for man to be blessed with so many gifts, but Harry Hart proved to be the exception to the rule, for he was as charming and gracious as he was handsome. His quick wit, his clever way with words, as well as his dry, incisive sense of humour could enthral even the most unwilling participant.
He could placate the most difficult handler, assuage the most reluctant agent, enchant the most reserved target, or ingratiate himself into the most inhospitable of circumstances. When he turned on the full force of his charm, the people he met, let alone the men and women who worked with him, frequently found themselves elevated in his presence, their own experience heightened by his vitality and charisma. They left the experience a little breathless, a little awestruck, a little seduced by Harry Hart. She herself was no exception. And she had been spending a lot of time with him.
————
They found themselves alone one evening at the manor. In the lounge, when they both happened to desire a drink at the same time. Most of the Kingsman had already departed for the shop if they were returning to the city. The rest had dispersed to their own private quarters, or were participating in whatever activity they had planned for the evening. The lounge was quiet. They way he liked it. Apparently, it was the way Gwendolyn preferred it as well.
He spotted her the same moment she lifted her gaze at the new arrival. Her eyes narrowed slightly in pleasure at the sight of him. She gave him a small, but welcoming smile. The musical clink of crystal against glass as he poured a scotch from the fully stocked bar was the only sound aside from the cracking logs in the grand fireplace.
The club was a vast space with a vaulted ceiling. The stately fireplace stood on the far wall. Like most of the manor, it was dressed in masculine shades of dark brown and hunter greens, tartan and plaids. Polished hardwood furniture, mostly antique, and historical paintings, displaying the rich history of Kingsman, whispered class and wealth. In the center was an arrangement to accommodate a more substantial group with larger sofas and chaises surrounding a massive polished low wooden table.
Around the room were smaller clusters of tables and leather club chairs tucked into alcoves for smaller gatherings or intimate conversations.
It was at one these clusters that he found her, tucked in a quiet corner near the fireplace.
In the most relaxed arrangement he allowed himself while still on kingsman property, he had his coat draped over his arm. Dressed in his shirtsleeves, tie and shoulder holster, tumbler in hand, he approached her, also with a pleasant but small smile. Pleased that she be the one that was sharing this space with him.
She was dressed quite differently from how he first remembered her. Well, her clothes hadn’t been memorable, but she had been. Since she was not a knighted agent, they weren’t quite sure how to classify her yet, she took the freedom to dress beyond the Kingsman uniform. Though always appropriate and surprisingly on brand, she was not quite regulation. If she was out in the field, she was in tactical, or the women’s version of the kingsman suits. She even had the shop tailor some custom pieces so she could have more diversity. When she was at Kingsman HQ or at the shop in support, she dressed appropriately, but in her own style. There were handfuls of fashionable men at Kingsman. You couldn’t turn around and not run into a gentleman turned out in Kingsman’s finest. But an attractive, stylish woman was a rarer sight. Even he noticed the heads that turned when she walked by.
Walking toward her, he took the time to observe her appearance, he told himself as spies always did out of habit. Today, she remained on the property. Without the need for being in the field, this would be her most ladylike look. She was dressed in a way that was very elegant, but sexy at the same time. Or, perhaps it wasn’t supposed to look sexy. He set that observation aside. Not the time nor the place, he thought to himself.
She was dressed in a slim, knee length pencil skirt in a very deep shade of oxblood red. It was velvet he noted when he saw the sheen of the grain as she shifted her knees in his direction. A matching tailored jacket, that, like him, she had removed and draped over the back of her chair. Topped with a delicate, almost sheer silk blouse the color of sun bleached bone. It had tiny pearl buttons down the front, and lace detailing at the collar, cuffs and similar detailing along the button placket. A narrow dark brown leather belt circled her waist with a gold clasp rather than a prong buckle.  Dark brown suede court shoes with a tall, but reasonable heel. Her makeup was minimal and natural. She looked like she just somehow heightened her features, but in no discernible way he could describe.
As he got closer, he was able to notice even smaller details. Her long, wavy, he had to admit, beautiful hair, was twisted up and away from her face and secured in some secret way women have where it would stay perfectly in place by means he could never quite see. Her accessories were feminine and understated. Small gold earrings in the shape of teardrops, a simple gold cuff around her wrist, a Kingsman issue watch on the other. A signet ring on her own pinkie. Her nails were trimmed short and clean, either no polish or something bare. A thin gold chain around her neck with a small solid gold version of the Kingsman pendant.
He didn’t know what he wanted a woman to look like until he first saw her. The first time, on that first chaotic night, he had the same thought. He could give you a basic description of what she was wearing, but he could describe every feature of her face. The way she looked when she was reflective. The line of her jaw when she was determined.
And then, for the very first time he saw her, dressed, properly, walking down the long marble corridor of the HQ manor, when she had the opportunity to present herself on her own terms. He thought, this is what I want a woman to look like. It wasn’t that she was model beautiful, or that her features were perfect. In London, on the streets, you could see plenty of models. They were beautiful, no doubt, and pleasing to look at, but once you were done, you were able to go about your day without a second thought.
Her beauty had substance. The fact that he knew what her skill set included, to know what she had overcome to be where she was, to be the person she was, made her beauty a real tangible thing, regardless of what she was wearing. Perhaps it was that, whatever she wore, she made it part of her. It wasn’t just a pretty skirt or a flattering blouse, it was the way she wore it that made you notice her. She could have look completely different, with the opposite features, petite and curly brown hair and brown eyes. He would have still have felt the same. And he would still say, this is what I want a woman to look like.
This young woman had the capacity to stir his heart. Something that had been quiet and still for a very long time. Even something that he thought no longer had the desire to be moved. It was certainly not something he was seeking. He, long ago, had accepted the fact that the life of agent isn’t one that fosters lasting relationships. Relationships were based on communication and he had far too many secrets as a Kingsman.
He was beyond the time in his life for these kinds of thoughts. He knew he had been handsome in his youth. He had his fair share of relationships and much more than his fair share of sexual encounters. He was aware that his looks had carried him quite well as he got older and that if he wanted, there were women, very desirable ones, that would be more than willing to engage in a casual relationship. He was by no means vanilla. It wasn’t that he was prudish in the least, or one to deny himself physical pleasure. If she wasn’t who she was, then he would have most likely allowed himself to pursue her and enjoyed whatever that relationship had to offer. The crux of it was, that he would not be as attracted to her, or charmed by her if she wasn’t exactly who she was. He would not want her as much as he did if she were any different. But it was who she was, ironically, that kept him from her. She was Merlin’s daughter.  It was a knot too tight for him to untie.
——
He set these thoughts aside as he approached her. Even though it was obvious she was alone, Kingsman manners never failed. Never ask a lady directly if she’d like your company. Give her a polite way to refuse without making her say no. She will indicate if your presence if desired.
“Excuse me, miss.” he opened. “Is this seat taken?”
She awarded him with an amused smile. She always enjoyed his little game of manners.
She nodded toward the chair. Please.
Draping his coat on the back of his chair, just as she did, He adjusted his slacks so he could sit down comfortably and gracefully. The club chairs were low and designed to sink back into. He took his seat, adjusted a little until he, too, was settled in.
Since both of them were now relatively stuck in their respective positions, where they couldn’t move without significant effort, he simply raised his glass in her direction. She followed suit.
———
Gwendolyn was pleased when he was comfortable enough to sit in silence with her. It was one of the first tells she would look for in asset or mark. Did they have enough self assurance to be silent? Were they uncomfortable, awkward, fidgety? Did they try to fill the silence with their own words? Most often, if they lacked confidence, she would notice these tells immediately. One of her favourite activities was to sit in silence.
It was also one of her favourite activities to look at Harry Hart. The fact that he was handsome was no surprise. When she initially started at Kingsman, this was simply an objective observation, like masterful way he handled weaponry. Or the fact that he was right handed.  The more they were partnered on the field, the closer they became, both in proximity and as colleagues, his physical attributes began to affect her in ways that continued to make her increasingly uncomfortable.
She was aware his body was that of a man that she admired and looked up to. Tall, broad shouldered, slim hipped. Strong, driven, powerful. She became aware of all the things that his body could do. She had the opportunity to observe him every time they were in the field, in combat, in action.
But she also began to discern a softness, a gentleness that he could convey when he gathered her up after a surprising blast had knocked them both off their feet. Hands that smoothed back her hair from her forehead upon waking up in medical after a particularly dangerous mission. A warm hand on her shoulder as she successfully accomplished a challenging task. Arms that held her after a devastating loss.
She was aware that as her mentor, he had a responsibility to maintain a professional relationship. But with escalating frequency, she imagined how it would feel to have him pressed up against her, to feel his body, purposeful and confident. While not in a chokehold.
————
The evening was relaxed. Both of them, without the urgency of an upcoming mission to prepare, took the opportunity to simply rest and unwind. A seldom occasion. Feeling more and more at ease when they were together, she allowed herself a little space to test the waters. When engaging targets, if they seemed comfortable sitting in silence in her company, would they make direct eye contact? She took another small sip of her drink, savoured it for a moment, and swallowed.
Hmmm. She was very curious about Harry and she was feeling surprisingly playful. She wanted to try something. Let’s say an experiment in tradecraft. She waited until she caught his eye. He seemed amused and matched her eye contact with equal directness. She was pleased that he made eye contact and even more pleased when he maintained it. But he was a spy, after all. Making and maintaining eye contact would be elementary for him.
With a little cheekiness on her part, she raised her glass to her lips again and took a small sip. He did not waver. His eyes even took on a little bit of curious amusement. She held the scotch on her tongue, pulled it to the back of her mouth, rolled the scotch around a little bit longer than necessary, before she swallowed.
Neither of them would look away first. She gave him a half smile, half smirk, crinkled her eyes a bit in amusement. She seemed to be saying. Ok. Your turn.
He had never seen her in this kind of playful mood and Harry suddenly found himself enjoying this little match immensely.
He could more than participate in this game. He, literally, had decades more experience than her. An agent may be able to seduce. But a gentleman agent was a master at the art of seduction. And Harry Hart was the consummate gentleman agent. One did not get to where he was in life without knowing how to pleasure a woman. He was often told he had beautiful and talented hands. That may have been years ago, but those kinds of skills, they stayed with a man.
A quick raise of his brow. Darling, challenge accepted.
Holding her eyes with his, he lowered his glass just enough to where it was in her sight line, but slightly off to the side, at the edge of her peripheral vision. She would still be able to hold eye contact, but would have to make an effort not to glance down at his glass. Especially, when she saw what he was going to do with it.
He held her gaze suddenly with an intense focus she was unprepared for. Out of the corner of her eye she saw that he was holding his glass, cupping it in the palm of one hand. He began to simply roll it around gently, as one would while enjoying a proper scotch. He rolled it around harmlessly, in a slow, lazy, rhythmic pattern.
She had to concentrate a little harder not to look away, but she kept his gaze. If she was uncomfortable, she didn’t show it. She hoped her gaze held a similar intensity as Harry’s. His felt, well, piercing, for lack of a more appropriate word.
This was certainly turning out to be an interesting evening, Harry thought. She seemed determined to stick this through. He would be required to dial his technique up a notch. He nested the heavy base in the center of his palm and let it rest there for awhile without moving. Then, once again, he started rolling the glass in his hand, not to stir the liquid, but to feel the surface of glass itself. He bounced the glass, lightly, as if testing the weight and feeling the heaviness.
The movement was subtle, slow, and sensuous. He let his hand explore the texture of the smooth surface. The base of his thumb pressed against the glass in slow, languid circles, sometimes rolling on to the pad of his thumb, sometimes to his finger tip. But he did this as if he were doing it unconsciously, because he was staring at the young woman who sat in front of him with the focus and intensity that said she was the only woman on earth, and that he wanted her.
There was truth to the term, the male gaze. It was not looking at something through a man’s eyes, it was seeing into something as a man. There was a reason why they called this particular look penetrating. It was a gaze of desire, a singularly male want and need. If done properly, it was a way to make love to a woman without touching her. It was far beyond physical contact . It wasn’t hard for him to harness his essential masculine energy. He had done it for years on countless honey traps in his younger days with the agency.  He hadn’t thrown the full force of himself to seduce in quite awhile and found that he was enjoying a little flex of his muscle.  If desire had a name, at that moment, it would be called Harry Hart. He let his desire roll off of him in waves.
What she didn’t quite understand, was that the game she was playing with him, wasn’t about who could keep eye contact the longest. It was a question of who was going to be seduced and who was going to be the seducer. She was approaching what she thought was a staring contest as a battle of the wills, which was why she was going to fail. Making eye contact may be a test of power and confidence, but that was a quick, brief test. A simple meeting or a darting of the eyes. It was very easy to find out who was going to be able to make and hold contact. However, eye contact for a prolonged period of time, especially between a man and a woman? It became something quite different. It was a game of seduction. It wasn’t a test of power. It was a test of control. Control of two things in this case, the seducer’s own desire, and the desire of the other person. Could the seducer harness his own desire to control the seduced.
She had not faltered yet. He raised to single brow. Would you like me to keep going?
She narrowed her gaze. Please, do.
The expression on his face all but said out loud. “You asked for it.”
He saw the flush in her cheeks when she noticed what he was doing with his glass. Her breathing intensified. Her pupils dilated and there was nothing she could do to stop it.
They were very small movements, but very deliberate movements. He cupped the bottom of the glass in one palm, fingers spread as if he were holding up a small tray. Using only his middle finger, the rest of his hand now cupping the base, he began to stroke the center of the glass. Like he was using his finger to say, come here. In very slow, very deliberate, beyond suggestive movements. His other hand simply rested on the top rim of the glass. Gently holding it in place while he moved his bottom hand. He did this without twitching another muscle in his body, as if nothing had changed.
Her eyes widened. Holy fuck, she thought. With very exact and explicit movements of his hands, he was not just implying, but overtly demonstrating how he used them to give pleasure to a woman. The shock of seeing him within the frame of something so blatantly sexual, all the while looking at her the entire time? It was intensely arousing.
He was not only looking at her, he was positively devouring her with his gaze. She could feel him, his energy in pulses of heat. This wasn’t merely eye contact. This was something unexpected and she was not prepared for it. Harry was suddenly changed, maybe not changed, but different. He was harder, stronger, more demanding. He was more of everything. The polite, honorable, considerate gentleman was still there,  but now he added an aspect of himself that she had never seen or experienced before. The man was still Harry, but it also as if a part of him had been unleashed, whatever primal energy that was held in check by the handsome suits and the manners and the chivalry, had been released.
She fought to maintain her composure. He knew exactly what he was doing. His hands moved expertly, and with ease. His gaze, became even more intense, if that was even possible.
He continued to play and to tease as he held the glass in his palm. She knew where he had his hand. She could feel the exact placement as if it were on her own body. The base of his palm would cup her center, with the rest of his fingers spreading between her legs. His middle finger was still moving in achingly slow circles, one direction, then slowly moving in the other direction. He curled his finger under, using his knuckle, rolling it in tiny circles. Not even really moving just shifting the pressure moving from one side to the other, from top to bottom.
She saw in his eyes, that he knew, that she was not only being affected by his movements, but she was feeling sensations as if he were touching her directly.
It was the most erotic experience of her life.
Here was this beautiful man, still dressed as properly as ever in his dress shirt and tie, his shoulder holster with his side arm. His perfect hair, his perfect face. With all his dignity and respect, relaxing comfortably back into his chair, his legs spread wide, an ankle crossed over his knee, one elbow resting casually on the arm of his leather chair. Radiating such a profound sexual energy, that without even touching her, had the ability to control her body with only his eyes and the the way he moved a glass in his hand. He was so confident in his movements. His expression said, however brief this moment, that he owned her, that she was his, and he knows that she wants it that way. He can see it all over her face. He can see it in her eyes.
——
He wasn’t even close to being done.
He took his other hand, laying his palm over the glass, as if it was resting there. On the other side of the glass, where his thumb fell, he began to roll it around in very explicit, very familiar circles.
He felt himself harden as his own arousal grew. He didn’t try to stop it. Instead of letting it distract him, he channeled that energy through him and into her. Allowing her to witness the physical evidence of his own desire would strengthen his hold. Never underestimate the power of the imagination. She would see it. Her mind would do the rest.
He saw her lips part, even the slightest bit. Her chest rising and falling under her ladylike blouse as her breathe quickened. Her knees pressed tightly together. He watched her face very, very carefully and intently, watching the subtle changes in her expressions as he shifted the movements of his hands, knowing that she was feeling his movements in her body. Every time her brow would furrow, or she took a sharp intake of breath, or would clench her pretty hands, as he moved his own, he knew she was feeling pleasure. And that he was the source of that pleasure.
He knew that there were men who were turned on by violence. For him, however, there was nothing more erotic than the sight of a woman experiencing the pleasure that you were giving her. So, he was especially aroused when he was free to look at the nuances of her face and body freely and openly. Her pleasure had reached a constant as she moved almost imperceptibly to the consistent rhythm of his hand.
And she still did not drop her eye contact. He knew, now that she was fully aroused, she would not break eye contact. She probably couldn’t at this point if she tried. For, half of her pleasure was a result of seeing the man who was controlling her pleasure. And seeing that she pleased him, that he was also sexually aroused, intensified her pleasure. And she wanted to offer that to him, very willingly. He was finding out much about her in these few moments. Things that he wasn’t even sure she knew about herself. Very few women would have been comfortable enough with their sexuality to be purely on the receiving end of pleasure. In the intimacy of their own bedroom in a committed relationship. Let alone in an extremely public and therefore vulnerable way. With a man who may be, slightly off limits. Which, in fact, probably added to her pleasure.
To see just how much she was under his thumb, pun aside, he paused for a moment. He kept his hand, his fingers in the exact same place. He just stilled. And watched her. After a few moments he could see the tiniest furrow of her brow. When he continued to remain still, he saw the movement he waiting for. She probably didn’t even know she had made it. It was the slightest lifting and rolling of her hips. He didn’t realize he could be more turned on, but he felt himself harden even more. It was the motion every woman made, in his experience, when they wanted more, when they were asking for more, and when they were begging for more.  The ability to actively listen and comprehend another person was the most profound influencing tactic one could hone in communication, and therefore seduction.  Which is exactly what he was doing. In a very non verbal, very physical way.
He began his movements again, with more intensity and purpose. He let his finger, for the first time, slide all the way up the side of the glass, even letting it lift with the upward movement of his palm. He saw her body move as if she were receiving him.
He knew she was experiencing waves of intense pleasure. He could tell she wanted to close her eyes and tip her head back. As he witnessed her need, he went in for his last movements. His palm pressing up into the base of the glass, his thumb rolling in small firm circles and his entire middle finger along the entire length of the glass, the tip almost reaching the top of the rim.  As if his finger were deep inside her, he made deliberate strokes while pressing into the glass, slow, but then gradually increasing in speed and pressure.
He knew, that she knew, the exact two parts he was pleasuring.
Her lips parted, her breathing grew heavier. She had no idea what was going to happen next, all she felt were waves of pleasure. The only thing she could concentrate on was not losing eye contact with the man in front of her.
Harry knew at this point, he had let what was a silly, flirtatious game, go too far. He also knew this began as a challenge, and Harry Hart was never one to back down from a challenge. He also knew that he never purposely lost a game. If it took climaxing for her to break eye contact, then so be it.
He also knew he was mesmerized by the sight of her. He didn’t know if he could stop. But it didn’t matter because he didn’t want to. This moment had to hit the list of the top most erotic experiences of his life. Both fully clothed, siting in separate chairs, more than six feet apart. With only eye contact between them. He didn’t know if he’d experienced something more intensely arousing, knowing that he was the one she was feeling when she made herself come.
He began to see the tell tale tremors, the quickening breath, her lips parting with cries that she desperately wanted to make that she would not let herself, and the dear girl, was still trying to hold on. Psychologically she was making it harder for herself, denying her own release would only make it that much more physically intense when she had to give in.
It was at that moment, that a door banged within the manor and someone appeared at the large entrance of the club room.
“Harry. That you?”
Damn it. It was Eggsy,
“Just headin’ out.” Eggsy called over. “What’s up? Looks like you two’re having a staring contest. Whose winning?”
“It’s a tie” Harry replied.
Eggsy held up his hand in a quick wave and left.
He glanced back over to Gwendolyn, where she was still trying to maintain eye contact, wait no, she was just staring into the space behind him, concentrating on something he could not see.
——
She knew she had to stop staring at Harry, so she looked past his shoulder into the empty space behind him. At this point, even the sight of him might set her off. She was still right at the cusp of her climax and her body was still so aroused she was afraid that any movement could push her over the edge. She wanted to tell Harry to leave, but she couldn’t think of a way without embarrassing or offending one or both of them. All she could do at the moment was sit quietly. So that’s what she did. She was waiting for her body to catch up with the rest of her and settle down. He was waiting patiently until she was ready to move or speak.
After a bit of time, she glanced over at him, made sure it was safe. It was, and she began to relax a little, though her body still felt like a flame that was ready to ignite with any hint of friction. She just needed to stay still for awhile.
She saw Harry watching her, his face both concerned and amused.
He broke the silence.
“And that, my darling,” he said pointedly. “Is how one create’s an effective honey trap.”
In an attempt to further diffuse the situation, he wanted to be frank and direct with her and not to brush what just happened under the rug. That would be awkward for both of them.  He did not want her to feel embarrassed or ashamed or uncomfortable with him or what had happened. The best way was to be as blunt as possible. He pushed down on his palms and rose out of his chair with minimal effort.
“My dear, I’ve been in the spy business for over 30 years. One does not get this far without knowing how to pleasure a woman.”
He winked at her.
“Not to worry, you’ll get there.”
He reached behind him for his coat, draped it over his arm, but not before she clearly noticed his own erection. Which before had just been a suggestion in the shadows. He’s hard!
The thought made her flame all over again.
“I need to take my leave. Will you be alright, here?”
All she could do is nod. She didn’t trust her voice yet.
Always the gentleman. He leaned over and brushed his lips against the top of her hair.
“Thank you for the lovely evening.”
She still couldn’t look directly at him so she turned her head slightly to the side and gave him a small nod. With a quick squeeze of her arm, she heard his departing footsteps. He was heading to the tunnels. He was going back into the city, He wouldn’t be staying at he manor. She didn’t know if she was glad or disappointed.
She was grateful to him for providing at least a somewhat graceful way to exit the situation, referring to the seduction technique that ALL agents are trained in. He was letting her chalk it up to a learning experience.
She opened her mouth. Nothing came out. She tried again.
“Fuck.”
It was the first word that she had said all evening.
——
“Fuck.”
Harry thought as he boarded the train back into the city. He had actually planned on staying at the manor, but with what just happened with Gwendolyn, he wasn’t sure if that would be the best course of action. It took all of his self control to remove himself from any temptation by leaving the place entirely. Making it impossible for him to act in a way that was inappropriate. Not that what had just happened would qualify as appropriate. At least it had the veil of a lesson on seduction. He wasn’t sure it would convince judges, but he found it a weak, but passable excuse.
Now, the problem for the moment was that all he could see was her face as he pleasured her. How her lips parted, and her breasts underneath her blouse, the flush of her cheeks. He wanted to hear what her cries would’ve sounded like. He wanted to be the one to make her cry out. His sex drive, always healthy, may have had a prolonged dormant period in recent times. But now it was raging like a fire that he unleashed and now he couldn’t put out. By letting the full force of it out this evening, it was fully awake and needed something to do. He had feared that if he had stayed at the manor even a moment longer, he wouldn’t have been able to help himself and would’ve taken her and had her right there.
If he could do that to her with his eyes and just the suggestion of his hands, he couldn’t imaging what it would be like pleasuring her with his entire body. He knew he wouldn’t be able to sleep until her took care of himself, and when he did, he would allow himself the sight of her trembling, responsive, body underneath his own as he gave her the pleasure he knew she so desperately wanted, him deep inside as he felt her body shudder around him when she climaxed, feeling his own release as he heard her cry out his name in pleasure.
If you got this far, thanks for reading! There will be additional chapters, but I thought this could stand on its own. Hope you liked it! Comments are always welcome and appreciated.
Also to come is a chapter when they finally get together :O (Smut is the main reason I started to write about Harry Hart anyway :)
♡  An Obey Me! Self-insert Fanfic feat. Lucifer ♡
Hoki Notes: So the process was like this: i no likey event luci’s mock proposal > i make my own > i ended up making him propose for real wwww
I don’t know if anyone else has done this, but this is just my version of Lucifer proposing to MC ;w; I hope you like it and I tried making it gender neutral! uwu
Warning: Spoiler for Chapter 28-19 (Conclusion of the RAD festival arc)
Deep down, Lucifer couldn't accept it. He was well-aware of the fact that out of all of his brothers, his proposal was far too simple. His pride wouldn't allow him to live it down, that you received something so meager, so unbefitting from him.
It was just a game of mock proposals, but you deserved so much more. You're so important to him, you deserved to be spoiled rotten to the core-- to feel like you are the center of the world, that you are the center of his world. That's why, after days and days of preparation, you're finally here, linked with his arm, strolling down the lavish and exotic gardens of the royal castle. The big day has come.
But for you, he only told you it’s a special day. He hasn’t told you why, but you’re dressed up in your most favorite formal attire while Lucifer came in an immaculate white tuxedo with blue accents.
Earlier, you accepted his invitation to a private dinner under the stars and served by the stars. It was just you and him, the starlight playing in the reflection of your eyes, a sea of galaxies filling the champagne glasses, shadows bringing in the grandest of feasts. Your time with him has always been short-lived. That's why you savored each moment with him, as each second was precious. And now, Lucifer guided you out of the lush woodland, arriving at a familiar place. It was the dance hall where you promised to dance with Lucifer after the culture festival play. That was the first time you showed your relationship in public and it caused a commotion. Every demon in the vicinity had their eyes on you, in awe, as the proud and revered Lucifer waltzed across the hall with you--a great contrast to now, where it's so desolate, so quiet, that you can almost hear your individual breaths.
"It seems like you remember this place." He said, his deep voice echoing into the empty hall. "I do." "But did you know? This hall, the Unison Hall, is the only place where the Celestial Realm's light could reach in The Devildom.” He explained. You shook your head and you walked towards the center, where the pillars gradually changed hues, deep purples melting into a pristine, golden shine. "Why did you bring me here?" You wondered. A gentle look crossed his eyes as he glanced towards the source of the light. "You can say that I'm asking for a blessing."
For what? Before you managed to utter a word, Lucifer bowed, hand outstretched towards you.
"Will you indulge me for a while, my dear?"
You beamed him a smile. “Always.”
You took his hand and he whisked you away into a waltz. When your feet stepped in motion with his, a singular note resonated in the air, the next one in a higher pitch, and a familiar melody followed.
You realized Lucifer spelled the hall to play your favorite musical piece in his record collection. He has complete faith in your taste and you never failed him in choosing what piece would fit that day’s mood. But this piece stood out among the rest and you’d play it during the happiest occasions.
He spun you around and caught you in his strong arms. It was so smooth that you feel like you’re falling all over again for him. Your face must have been so dumbfounded that he smirked, but his eyes crinkle with endearment. He’s always been amazing. He’s a distinguished man of many strengths and talents and yet he’s not as arrogant as others deem him to be.
He smiled at you fondly and held you closer against his chest. Your heart soared and you added a joyful spring to your step as you traversed the hall. He’s such a sweetheart. He is stern, but vulnerable to affection. He always puts the needs of others before his own. But when he gets absorbed in his work, his weary eyes would wander sometimes. And you knew, he just wanted someone to be there for him.
You wanted to be that someone.
The music reached its end but it’s as if the spell hasn’t worn off completely. You’re lost in your overwhelming feelings for him. Your heart is so full. It wasn’t until Lucifer sat you down on a chair that you found yourself almost out of breath from dancing. Wow, Lucifer was just so mesmerizing, the thrilling thump of your heart wouldn’t calm down.
“Are you okay?” He asked, sliding his thumb up your cheek.
You easily relaxed against his hand and placed your hand on top of his. “Thanks. I’m feeling great! I might have fallen for you again.” You teased, but you didn’t miss how something deep flickered in his eyes.
“Oh, [Name].” He looked like he wanted to kiss you. You wanted to kiss him too and comb your fingers through his perfect hair. "I’m the one who has fallen for you.”
You could only gasp out his name when he knelt before you, cradling your hands in his and his eyes carrying a certain vulnerability that he shows only to you.
“For a long time, you made my days brighter. My memories of the sun in the Celestial Realm can't compare to how you look at me so warmly as if you knew I needed a beacon. I want to bask in your smile every morning. Teach my heart new ways to love every day for the rest of our lives and I'll fill your days with the happiness you deserve. Every piece of me I've shut away from the world, you took into your arms and held all of me together.”
“You made me whole." He planted a kiss on the back of your left hand. "You've made me yours." And another on your ring finger. His sigil imprinted on your body, the mark that signifies your pact, prickled with heat. "And now, on this day, on this moment, will you become mine?" Lucifer pulled out a red velvet box from his inner jacket and opened it. He looked straight at you, determined. The wind blew down on your bodies, raining down red rose petals around you. The ring sparkled under the light from the heavens. It seemed like it came out of a dream. "Will you marry me?" The silence was deafening. Lucifer can read your mind, but he wants you to say it out loud, to give physical proof of the emotion welling up in your heart, to promise him an eternity of happiness with just one word.
“Yes.”
The light around you seemed to glow brighter and casted an illusion of a halo around his head. In that moment, you could have mistaken him as an angel, or maybe you did catch a glimpse of Lucifer in his angelic glory.
It’s as if it didn’t matter if he’s a demon and you’re human. You’re just in love. You’re finally that someone you wanted to be for him.
End Notes
- The dinner served under the stars and by the stars is a reference to Maple and Sally’s date dinner in the anime BOFURI!
- Unison Hall is based on the dance hall at the end of the RAD festival arc. I made the name up and about the light coming from the Celestial Realm. I just want Lucifer to be that desperate, begging for Michael the heavens to watch over and bless his proposal to you. Ehehehe :3c
Thank you so much for reading my first posted obey me fanfic. More will come and I would love to hear your thoughts before the next one ;w;)/
Have a good day~! <3
