*TOPGUN Coffee Maker, 0700 Hours* Hangman: So. Who broke it? I’m not mad. I just wanna know. Bob: I did. I broke it. Hangman: No. No, you didn’t. Rooster? Rooster: Don’t look at me. Look at Phoenix. Phoenix: What? I didn’t break it. Rooster: Huh. That’s weird. How’d you even know it was broken? Phoenix: Because it’s sitting right in front of us, and it’s broken. Rooster: Suspicious. Phoenix: No! It’s not! Coyote: If it matters, probably not, but Daydream was the last one to use it. Daydream: Liar! I don’t even drink that crap! Coyote: Oh, really? Then what were you doing by the coffee cart earlier? Daydream: I use the wooden stirrers to push back my cuticles. Everyone knows that, Coyote! Bob: Okay, let's not fight. I broke it. Let me pay for it, Hangman. Hangman: No! Who broke it?! Payback: Hangman…Fanboy’s been awfully quiet. Fanboy: Really?! Payback: Yeah, really. *Yelling*
Hangman, to Maverick: I broke it. It burned my hand so I punched it. I predict ten minutes from now they'll be at each other's throats with warpaint on their faces and a pig head on a stick. Good. It was getting a little chummy around here.

My dad’s been watching WWE again (which means… I’ve been watching WWE again lol) and because I am the way I am I’m thinking about narumitsu
Nothing crazy, I do think Phoenix and Maya would both be wrestlers and ridiculously strong (you remember that really long post that’s like “body builders aren’t built for endurance, but you know who is? This man that’s built like a square” and yes that’s Phoenix, STRONG)
Anyway, all of this to say that Phoenix can and should be able to throw Miles over his shoulder even though Miles is also Built Like a Fridge
And this is even less about narumitsu but I feel like Maya would LOVE wrestling. Love the showmanship and the costumes and love the LIFTING SO MUCH, has this whole character built up, many many passionate women have made those videos about her (you know the ones), and I also think that she would get recognized in public but be like “oh the wrestler?? Haha yeah I get that a lot! I wish :-/“ and then just break something in half “oops lol, butter fingers”

I don't know why YouTube is recommending me RD S6 clips but they assure me nothing tittilates today's TV viewers more than a properly unionized labor force.
That's some scathing hot TV, folks.

You know, Manfred’s role in the Ace Attorney universe is very strange, because his presence is very much felt; even into the second and third game, you still see echos of him in his children and how they grapple with the legacy left to them and what it means to them and who they are, but when you get down to it… he was in exactly one case. One. Ema Skye, who wasn’t even in the original release, appears in five times as many games. Even Will Powers shows up in twice as many cases.

There’s always something new to learn
I could finally finish part 8 of the Spinoff set in the normal sentient Lost Light au from @cuppajj
You guys don't know how long it took me to finally figure out how to continue it. XD
Also, someone might be warming up.
.:():.:():.:():.:():.:():.:():.:():.:():.:():.:():.:():.:():.:():.:():.:():.
There was a commotion on board the Lost Light and Megatron could feel it, before he got a call from Rodimus asking him to come to his location. Although the second Megatron stepped into the medical bay, he already wanted to turn around again. There, with his legs sticking out of the vents, was Phoenix. Trying his best to crawl into the enclosed space, while Rodimus and First Aid were trying their best to pull out the hissing youngling. To no avail.
“Took you long enough.” Grunted the prime, as he looked over to the ex-Decepticon, before quickly returning his attention towards his slippery brother. Who had managed to get his leg free from First Aid’s grip and was now trying to do his best to get it free from Rodimus too. “Do something!”
Megatron raised an optical ridge, before shaking his head. “And what exactly do you want me to do? He’s your brother.”
“Yea, and you’re the former leader of the Decepticons. He has to listen to you!” Argued the prime back, before his grip slipped. Causing him to land on his aft and giving Phoenix the chance to scurry deeper into the vent. Although, the youngling didn’t make it far. Not with something blocking his way of escape. “Great! Just great! Now he won’t come out of there for a long time.” Groaned Rodimus and got up. Fixing Megatron with a slight glare. “And you didn’t come sooner, because?”
“Ah… Ultra Magnus and I were discussing some… things.” Was the former warlord's response, which got him a knowing smirk from Rodimus. “You can wipe that smirk off your face, Rodimus, we were mostly discussing poetry and some literature from earth. Now. Would you mind telling me why you told me to come? I doubt it has anything to do with you wanting to know what I do in my free time.”
Rodimus’ smirk only grew wider, before he crouched down to the vent and stuck a servo inside. Although, he had to quickly pull it out again, or else Phoenix would have kicked it out. “Easy. Phoenix is having one of his hissy fits again, and I thought he would listen to you. He isn’t listening to me and Lightlost walked out of the medibay, as soon as they entered. Saying something like ‘I think I know what to do’.” Said the prime with a shrug of his shoulders.
Megatron, yet again, shook his head. He might have been the leader of the Decepticons, but from the information Phoenix has given them, which considering how long he has been staying with them wasn’t much, he was clearly told by his crew to ignore whatever Megatron had to say. And yet, he could see why Rodimus would call him, of all mechs, to help out. Phoenix did, somewhat, interact with him regularly. Interactions Megatron was sure were only happening because the youngling and he both belonged to the same faction at one point. That, or because he didn’t regard the young spark with distrust whenever he was handed one of his handmade gifts.
So, Megatron let out a sigh, before answering his co-captain. “Rodimus, I doubt he will listen to me now either, even if he usually does. Haven’t you once complained about a similar situation? Maybe this isn’t because of Phoenix having a ‘hissy fit’ and not wanting to listen, but rather because of something else?” Suggested Megatron, but before anyone of them could say anything, their attention was grabbed by Lightlost and the two mechs following them into the medical bay. Convoy and Snow.
“You went and got them?” Asked Rodimus with some disbelief in his voice, before he shook his head and threw his arms up in a dramatic display of over exaggerated defeat. “Great, does that mean we’re gonna get a second youngling throwing a hissy fit, just because he doesn’t want to be in here?”
“Captain, I doubt that Snow will throw a ‘hissy fit’.” Said Lightlost calmly, while looking from their captain, over to the vent where Phoenix was hiding in. “But he might have some better… insight as to why Phoenix reacts like this whenever he has to come for a check up.”
Lightlost was right. Snow hardly looked bothered with being in here, unlike Phoenix who starts digging his fingers into the doorframe the second Rodimus tries to drag him in for a check up, or anything else that requires a visit to the medics. "Alright." Said the prime as Lightlost, Snow and he left the medibay to discuss the situation, while Megatro, First Aid and Convoy stayed behind to make sure Phoenix wouldn’t try to escape. With Convoy attempting to maybe get the youngling out by himself. “So… shoot, what am I doing wrong?”
Snow looked a little bit unsure at Rodimus, before averting his optics from him to Lightlost. Who smiled at the youngling reassuringly and placed their servo on his shoulder. “It’s okay. I doubt Rodimus is going to be mad at you, for telling him anything. If that’s what you’re worried about.”
“Y-yea… that’s a little bit what I was worried about.” Muttered Snow, which got him a small offended noise from the prime, that was too funny not to chuckle at. But hey, it seemed to help the blue and white youngling relax, because he took a deep inhale and started to tell them his thoughts on why he thought Phoenix was acting the way he does. “You’ll have to keep in mind that I’m not… well… We aren’t 100% the same mech. For example, he told me that he gets very uncomfortable around corpses, while I have gotten pretty used to them.”
That statement alone earned Snow a concerned look from Lightlost and a rather weirded out one from Rodimus. Causing the youngling to let out a small, nervous, chuckle while scratching the back of his neck. “Wait, hold up, you’re used to corpses? I mean, yea, Convoy told us about what happened in your universe, but… he kind of didn’t mention that.” Said Rodimus, as he put a servo on his hip and cocked his head to the side.
“Oh, he didn’t? I guess it’s not really that important then. But if you want to know, I just used to move the crew around and make them look like they were still alive. You know? Prop them up, make sure their guts wouldn’t spill out and over all repair them to make sure they were as live-like as possible. Granted, my work wasn’t all that impressive, but… Lightlost seemed to like it…” Snow grew quiet with each sentence, until he was silently staring at his servos, before clenching them and shaking his head. Not now. He can unpack that when he’s back in his own universe.
“E-either way. Phoenix hates the medibay, because of what his crew did. His old crew, not this one. He really likes you, all of you, minus Getaway. He once even told me that getting abandoned in space was the best thing that could happen to him, because he met all of you.” Snow gestured around. “I… can’t really understand that sentiment, because I got abandoned on a ship that… yea… messed me up? I mean, I know that I’m messed up. No normal mech would get used to the stuff I got used to and… well… At least I got two brothers out of it, two very nice guardians, my kinda dad and a punch of cool uncles. Like, did you know that Tesarus is really good at cracking jokes? OH! And he’s amazing with the crane game. He got me my shark plush! OH! OH! And Tarn is so cool, like a noble knight in shining armor, kinda like that one Thunderclash guy you’re always complaining about but I bet you secretly like him. Because, no-one would complain so much about someone if they didn’t like them. Roddy always complains about that one big flier he’s seeing, but I know he really really likes him! And Pharma is the best medic I have ever met! He’s given me so many tips on medical work while I was still recovering and… and…”
Rodimus had to place both of his servos onto Snow’s shoulders in order to stop his ramblings, because if he didn’t, they would have probably stayed in front of the medical bay for quite some time. That, and anyone passing by would have probably raised their optics rigs at the youngling for talking so… positive… about the DJD. It sure enough would blow Snow’s and Convoy’s covers. And Rodimus didn’t want to hear about his counterparts love live either. “Okay, Snow, listen. What you’re saying sounds nice and all, really, you can later tell me all about how nice those mechs are, but right now, we got some other things to worry about.”
Snow let out a small, sheepish chuckle and nodded his head. “A-ah… yea… Phoenix’s hate towards medical bays. Got you. So… ehm… I’m sure you remember what I told you about the scar, right? You know? The one on my back? Near the important cable?”
“Yes?” Rodimus was unsure where Snow was going with this question, until he remembered what the youngling told him when he and Convoy were still new to this version of the Lost Light. And then it dawned on him. Phoenix wasn’t throwing a hissy fit because he didn’t want to go to a check-up, he was throwing one, because he was terrified First Aid would do something similar as the medics from his old crew. Phoenix was scared of being hurt by those who have sworn to help everyone. And with one final look at Snow and Lightlost, the prime quickly turned around and rushed back into the medibay. Pushing his doppelgänger away from the vent, much to Convoy’s protest, and crouched down.
And Rodimus put on a smile, as he started to softly talk with his brother. Using the same calming tone that oftentimes came to use, whenever Phoenix came to him after a nightmare. Or when the youngling was feeling like the world was crashing down on him. A feeling, Rodimus knew all too well. “Phoenix, it’s me, Rodimus…. I’m sorry for dragging you in here. I just… I’m worried about you. Snow told me about…” Rodimus cut himself off for a moment, before looking back and motioning everyone to go out. Which was met with protest, but considering no-one was using the medical bay at the moment, everyone complied. With First Aid and Ambulon deciding that this was the best moment for a break and going to get themselves some Energon, while Megatron went back to Ultra Magnus. They still had to discuss that one story where a beautiful maiden fell in love with an ugly beast. And Convoy, having nothing better to do, joined Lightlost and Snow in front of the medibay. Throwing the cartographer a pointed look, before grabbing his brother's arm and pulling him along.
Convoy stopped halfway though, looking from his brother to Lightlost, before smirking. “Are you coming?” And his smirk somewhat grew, as he saw Lightlost look around before pointing at themself.
“Are you… Are you talking with me?” Asked the cartographer, which was met with a snarky repetition of their words from Convoy, before the darker prime decided to give them an answer. “Who else? Snow has skipped breakfast again, and I don’t want him to skip lunch too. So, we’re heading to our ship. Do you want to come too?”
“Of course!” Convoy felt annoyed at how delighted Lightlost sounded just from his invitation, but Snow looked happy about the prospect of having his “new friend” join them for lunch. So, Convoy resigned himself to that and waited for the disguised Titan to catch up with them, before they continued their walk towards the hangar.
The walk was surprisingly a nice one. While it still felt like the ship was watching his every move, it didn’t feel like something was going to snatch him, or Snow, up at any moment. Convoy was glad for that. Knowing that this Lost Light was safe enough to walk around in gave his overworked mind some form of comfort and allowed him to relax at least a little bit. He was still vary of everyone on here though, working as a bounty hunter and having been on the run for a long time does that to one, but at least it's bearable now. The only true distrust he still has is directed towards a handful of the crew. Lightlost still included.
“Alright…” Convoy broke the small, comfortable, silence after they made it to their small ship and he opened the door. “I was thinking about making my famous stew. We should still have the ingredients for that…” Muttered the prime as he started to rummage through the kitchen, while Snow looked up at Lightlost with a smile. Asking if they wanted some Energon, or maybe try some of his newest take on Energon Jelly Cubes. Although, even after Lightlost said no to both offers, they still found themself being pushed towards the dinette and seated, before a small bowl with the sweets was placed in front of them. With Snow looking excitedly at the cartographer.
“I would try at least one.” Said Convoy as he heaved a cooking pot onto the stove. Fixing Lightlost with another one of his pointed looks, before his optics turned slightly soft as he looked over at Snow. “He’s not going to let you off the hook that easily. And if he has to, he’s gonna shove that treat into your mouth, after making you scream by hitting you harder than any Decepticon ever could.”
“I doubt that-” Lightlost started, but got cut off by Snow.
“It was an accident!” Exclaimed the youngling, before looking over at his brother with a pout. “And I didn’t hit you that hard… Also, you said that you liked the cake!”
“Well, maybe I only said that, because I was scared that you would hit me again.” Came the reply from the prime, and it would have stayed by that, if Snow didn’t find his brother’s smirk annoying and started throwing Energon Jelly Cubes at him. Which the prime caught and ate, before getting tackled by the youngling. And despite landing on the floor in a heap of arms and legs, and throwing very light punches that hardly hurt anyone, both brothers were quick to start laughing as if nothing happened. With Snow smiling brightly and Convoy, for once, sporting a genuine smile. However, his expression soon enough turned stoney again, after remembering that they had a “guest”.
And with a grumble, Convoy got back up and started preparing lunch. With Snow’s help, of course, because the prime couldn’t really stop his brother from getting everything else out and start with one part of the recipe, while he prepared the other. Although, while they were making lunch, both of them kind of forgot about Lightlost. Talking and joking with each other, just like they would usually do, but Lightlost didn’t mind. On the contrary, they found watching the two brothers’ interactions with each other interesting and fun at the same time.
They were, after all, quite similar to their captain and youngling. While, yes, Phoenix was a lot more open and, dare they say, rambunctious and Snow seemed more on the calmer side, there were still things they shared. The obvious thing would be their crew. Both of them did not have an easy start, and it made Lightlost’s spark ache thinking about how anyone could treat such young sparks with as much hate as Phoenix’s and Snow’s old crews did. But then there were also the smaller similarities. The ones they got to see when they were visiting the amusement park. Like, the way both younglings would get excited over the same thing, or how they didn’t understand sarcasm at times. And then there was the talking.
If given the chance, both Phoenix and Snow could ramble on about Primus and the world. Oftentimes changing the topic halfway through a sentence, because they just thought about something completely different. And considering how Phoenix oftentimes would say nothing or stop talking to anyone after a short while, when he was still new on board, Lightlost couldn’t stop the small swell of pride in their spark from growing. Their youngling sure has grown in the time spent here, turning from a distrusting and scared youngling into one who walked through their halls confidently. And one who sometimes painted on their walls, even though Ultra Magnus has told him to stop on multiple occasions.
Although, thinking about their Phoenix’s growth made them wonder how Snow’s was. Lightlost knew what their counterpart did. Convoy has told them everything the second he got the chance to, and didn’t spare them any of the gritty details. Not even after Rodimus asked him to stop. So, how much work went into Snow’s recovery, before he too could grow more confident and less scared? It must have been long, or maybe, he was still healing. If their evening conversations were any indication.
Lightlost did catch Snow sometimes when he was wandering the halls at night. And they would offer their company to the youngling. Sitting with him in silence, or talking until the young spark would start to drift off again. When that happened, Lightlost would usually carry Snow back to his room, before leaving. Although, sometimes, Snow would look for them after a nightmare. Especially one that included their counterpart, because he needed the confirmation that this wasn’t them. That their counterpart didn’t come back and that they weren’t just a hallucination conjured up by Snow’s mind. On those nights, Lightlost would often find themself sitting in Snow’s room and doing the same routine as if they had found him wandering. Only with the twist that they would hold the trembling youngling in their arms and sooth his aching spark by softly singing to him.
Those nights were also the only ones where they found themself disliking their counterpart more than one would think.
“Are you okay Light?” Lightlost was pulled out of their thoughts by Snow, who was looking at them worriedly. “You… looked far away. Shanix for your thoughts?” Asked the youngling, as he placed a bowl of stew and a spoon in front of them. And Lightlost simply shook their head before smiling. “I was just… thinking about some things. Don’t worry too much about it Snow.” They said and watched Snow nod, before sitting down on the other side. And together, they started to eat. With Convoy joining them, after he made sure that the stove was turned off.
And like that, lunch went on smoothly. With small conversations then and there, until Convoy mentioned that one time he and Snow went on a small fishing trip. Then it turned from small talk to story time real fast, and Lightlost could have sworn that the darker prime was glaring less at them the more they talked.
Maybe he was warming up to them after all.
