Everyone always wanted something different; claws, horns, cat ears, elf ears, wings etc—

Well news flash. People with horns tend to have trouble falling asleep because they get in the way. Claws presented the chance of clawing your own eyes out in rubbing them. Cat ears were a nightmare to have if your normal human ears stayed. Lighter colored and darker colored eyes see light differently so you could rather easily be blinded by a sudden shift in light level.

Then there were people like you with wings. It took you so many years to build the muscles to just even glide! Any injuries to your shoulders impaired the ability to fly. Sleeping in a bed was a hassle in itself whenever you were traveling. Broken pin feathers hurt like hell. Simply preening both tended to take you hours to do…

People kept mistaking you for an Angel.

Honestly Falling Feather is a really interesting choice because now not only are the kits Thunder’s half-sisters, they’re also Lightning Cry and Acorn Swoop’s cousins. Also Pale Feather is just a really pretty name, not that Clear Sky would ever allow her to keep that name

I'm heavily leaning towards Falling Feather. She was also sweet to Thunder in-canon before being pretty brutally punished and publically humiliated for... (checks notes) saying goodbye to him too nicely.

I'm not sure if I'll keep Fall's death in the Great Battle or not, but it does sound pretty brutal for Tiger Sky to lose her twin AND her mom in the same battle her dad starts. And then he blames HER for them dying, actually, because Tiger Sky should have protected them and been stronger.
