OMG 🥺 TYSMMM He’s my pride and joy and I love him so so much!!! I have sm I still wanna do with him and I'm so so excited for KHML to get him back into the action! 🫶 Unfortunately that also means he will, on some level, being Going Thru It but that's a small price to pay for more content of my boy <3 <3 <3

I hope u dont mind me taking this moment to ramble abt his general deal and vibe bc I feel like my thoughts are all scattered throughout my art with him 😭🙏 Will add a cut and reading past is ofc optional but TYSM for the interest in general! His design is so fun to doodle and he’s got a whole Dreamhouse Closet of fits 👍

But!! Basically in UX my boy joined Vulpes and got his keyblade on his bday, Dec. 25th when he turned 13-14 or so :] he started out on his own and was pretty quiet but very compassionate which paid off in the long run and got him some good friends (both in the form of Ephemer and co. and then with my friends' keykids Vivian and Vial--highly rec checking out their art too btw !!! @thequibblingking13 and @thatalien404 I love Vial and Vivi so so much as well 🥺)

As he pulled in these new friendships (and in the case of Vivi and Vial, practically family/siblingship) Alvi ends up having that compassion fuel him to become more skilled with his keyblade, learn more about how to best guilt and use medals, the best ways to Raid, etc. in order to be able to both protect/keep the people he loves safe as well as to be a teacher. He loved exploring new worlds and helping people in general and I think would end up being the kinda general Big Brother FigureTM who other kids could run to with questions--especially as he got into his later teens.

He ends up learning quite fast and scaling up pretty exponentially compared to some of his peers and, in general, ends up fairly competitive with the weekly rankings and PVP (friendly still, but ready to give it his all) and with that, he ends up taking that protector role more seriously as he becomes more competent. By the time the War really comes around when he's like 15-16, he ends up sticking around to fight in the hopes of shouldering as much weight as he can in the place of others, as well as wanting to shield Vivi and Vial as best as he can.

Though things definitely do get murkier as he gets stronger. I think that he'd always been a bit more open/neutral to darkness as a concept. He knows it can corrupt but would use it in small increments, however those would become larger and be used more often as time passed in trade for more strength--more capability. It would culminate at it's most out of control/chaotic when fighting with the Foretellers (shoutout to Ira who reflected every light attack BTW. like okay bro. u asked for this ig 😐) where he'd really just let loose and give it all, though it'd leave him weak and also pretty freaked out. Plus the whole almost dying thing definitely adds to that 😭 so he'd rein things in dramatically after waking up from the war.

As for the amnesia about the war, things shift a little bit here and I think he'd sorta wake up to reality pretty quick, especially with the nightmares. He loves Chirithy but his was never the best at lying, and despite whatever bumps in the road he and Ephemer had, he doesn't anticipate that he'd ever lie straight to his face. So when he confronts Skuld and Ephemer about it all? Well, they hesitate enough to tell him something's up at the very least--as he suspected. He's sympathetic to his friends' new position as defacto leaders though and, being a pretty natural leader-type himself, knows how precarious of a situation it is regarding information on the war. It's horribly distressing for him to remember everything to say the least, and he figures himself pretty capable of handling it, so the thought of having so many of the other kids remember en masse and just start hurting despite it being over just leaves him feeling sick. He doesn't like lying either though, and it feels wrong to hide such a huge event--which the others sympathize with bc damn they're dealing with that conflict too 😭 But, ultimately, Alvi agrees to remain quiet about the whole ordeal--even to Vivi and Vial whom he shared everything with. Which creates. Problems. 😬

In the weird mundane time they spend in the digital daybreak before things start glitching and life is just continuing "as usual" Alvi ends up inadvertently pulling back from Vivi and Vial (as they can tell something is Up) and gets closer to all of the Union Leaders! I really think he'd get along well and have unique but fun friendships with each and every one of them :> There's already that like Besties Bond with Ephemer and Skuld, but I think he'd really love Ven, Brain, and Lauriam, too. He and Lauriam would be the tallest two of the bunch and I think would lowkey prod each other about it in a mini competition as they both continued growing, he would ADORE Ven and love carrying him on his shoulders and such, and I think would just be chill and funny with Brain. Put them in a room together and the sarcasm level doubles 🤝

When Vivi and Vial finally figure things out abt the War tho, and that Alvi was actively lying to them, ehm... 😬 Things begin going downhill FAST from there. He doesn't really have any good explanation for himself as he just wanted to protect them at his core, but it was still not the best way to probably deal with it. That said though, what's WORSE is how he responds to the question of whether he'd do it again and uh. Well. 🤡🤡🤡

So suffice to say, Vivi and Vial feel pretty damn betrayed and generally angry at him but Alvi has hope they can patch things up and get it all sorted out. But with each attempt to be more transparent about things, Alvi keeps having to clam up because a lot of the stuff he's been doing have been with the Union Leaders and needs to remain kinda lowkey, so he ends up being unable to really tell that much which just comes across as condescending at best for Vivi and Vial. And then the glitches start showing up 🧍‍♂️

Alvi, in the midst of trying to both apologize and explain once more to them both, gets pulled away to go help Ephemer investigate what's going on at the Clocktower. He leaves his little siblings with the promise that, the very moment he comes home, he will tell them everything and share everything about all the worlds he's seen since--just like how things used to be. They have his word! And it's still shaky ground but a potential light at the end of the tunnel! But, well, then he and Ephemer end up in Game Central Station and things get very out of hand very fast. The end of the game unravels faster than they can keep up and the last "interaction" Alvi has with his siblings is Vivi crumbling in her own fight across town as the feeling of Alvi getting that hit to the heart from Ephemer echoes through to her oTL

The end of UX makes me SO. AUGH. I feel like I've already talked a lot but there's just So Much in my head for my poor little guy and MAN. His end would follow the canon ending of the game pretty closely. He'd stick around with Ephemer and Skuld and help see the other Leaders off in the Ark with the intention to go grab Vial and Vivi and get them inside to safety before things go wrong again. One little thing I wanna draw or poke at somehow tho is that like, I think he'd give little mementos/gifts to the others before they send them off in the ARK. To Brain and Lauriam, he'd give them each one of his earrings, Elrena would get his neon bracelets, and Ven would get a moogle chain he always kept on his dufflebag :>

As for the final fight. MANNNN. I think that Alvi would be able to put on a pretty convincing act and, somewhat bitterly, kinda goes down the line of like "Well, I really am a liar lately, so what's one more?" and he'd go all-in to ensure Ephemer was pushed to his limit. WHICH SUCKS AND HURTS MY HEART TO THINK ABOUTTT. But he'd pull it off, and he'd get that shot to the heart, and I think in that fight it's poetic if he was fighting more in a stance like YX than usual. Smth smth foreshadowing also legacy etc. 🫶🫶🫶 He'd go out proud and happy, even if it was immensely bitter knowing the last memories his friends all shared with him.

Suffice to say I have SOOOO many thoughts abt him and I am SO excited for Missing Link to do a round 2 bc I have a rough idea of what I wanna do for his arc/character-wise on his second time around and I am also so hyped to get Brain back 🥺🥺🥺 I think their friendship is going to be so so crucial to Alvi in ML and I cannot WAIT to get into it!!! And OFC THE WHOLE RAISING OF XEHANORT??? MANNNNN. He would love Xehanort with everything he had. It's so bittersweet that he would've passed before Xeha started learning how to do a whole lot with the keyblade and got all manipulated by destiny bc like. Alvi would not be perfect, but he would've loved to train him himself. Which like also ik I'm #Coping and whatever but I'm just gonna say that Alvi, after passing in KHDR, is just chilling in Quadratum bc I'm sorry but he's far too stubborn to die and just leave his son behind so soon 🫶 I only have memes with them so far but I truly believe that Alvi and Xeha have a Like Father Like Son dyanmic thang going on. A long line of guys with something wrong with them 🫶💖

(This is about robot fixations) I legit have so many, so I’m making this a post because why not (plus counting this as an ask because this was a question, right???)

The first robot “fixation” of my childhood was probably either the Oscarbots from Odd Squad or Bot from Team OomiZoomies. I don’t know which one was first, but I blame everything that I go into on them (especially Bot since he’s a single dad-esk robot smh) (Someone for the orange thing from BrainPop here).

The first actual fandom I was in was in was DDLC and it has to do more with AIs than actual robots but I’ll count it.

MIKU MIKU OO EE OO

Sigh this is where I insert my K1B0 phase. Me and my irl friend were really in it (they were a Kokichi fan btw. We still vibed a lot tho). I think I have about 9 fully “rendered” (these were from 4 years ago so they were kinda bad and low quality) fan art of him, with countless doodles in my homework and notes. Those were the days.

This really shouldn’t count as one but the FNF mod Hex was something I really really liked and made too much fan art if for a TV screen that played basketball

Connor from DBH. He’s a cinnamon roll that can kill and I will protect him from the feels.

Vivy from Vivy. It’s such an underrated anime I love it

Not a full blown fixation but the robot girl from Pink B Club deserves a mention

Literally any character from Stray

I’m pretty sure the computer guy from DHMIS was my lowest why was I down bad for it

Favourite (+ Least Fav) Female Seiyuu

This post will cover 3-4 on the original post. One thing I would like to say is that since this list is influenced largely by more recent roles that came out in the last decade or so, there are a lot of veterans missing from this list. I did try to mitigate this with one of the other questions.

While the ranking is based off of purely my personal opinion, I thought I would state some factors that go into the ranking.

Voice acting ability: This is pretty standard. You know what to expect here. Performance is a key factor here. If they can act well and convince me of the character they're playing, then I consider it a good performance. Range is another lesser component. If I feel like they have incredible range in terms of their voice and emotion, that also comes into play.

Sentimentality: This is very subjective. This takes into account things such as access to good to roles and the impact of those roles which largely depend on how good the show is and how strong the writing is. Voice actors can try their best and give really good performance, but if the production, writing, art, or directing isn't good, it can all amount to close to nothing through no fault of the artists involved.

Musical ability: These days, voice actors are expected to sing with few exceptions (Akira Ishida is an exception, for example).

Voice: Yeah, if I like their voice, it boosts them up the list because it's a voice acting list. It has nothing to do with their voice acting ability. Although, range can help this a lot.

Personality: Although it doesn't really have anything to do with any of the other categories, personality that is shown through shows, events, and radio do play a small part in this because seiyuu are ultimately entertainers. These days, they are expected to be the whole package.

I will include a gif of a role that I liked (recent roles are prioritized) for the top ten.

Least Favourite Female Seiyuu

Just like the male-counterpart, I definitely don't have a least favourite female seiyuu based on acting ability, but I do have seiyuu that I just don't like their voice. However, this has negligible interference with my enjoyment of the show. Plus, I don't fault actors or actresses for playing bad roles if I can help it. Off the top of my head, I don't really like Satomi Arai or Yukari Tamura since they are usually typecast in roles that I don't really like (loli archetype). Besides that, usually voice actresses have at least one or two other roles that break their usual typecast that I've seen.

Favourite Female Seiyuu (TOP TEN)

HONOURABLE MENTIONS:

These seiyuu are really good. I just ran out of spaces in the top ten. I also ran out of spaces in the honourable mentions spot. Just like the previous counterpart, the ordering changes really frequently so don't pay too much attention to that (except the top two which seem to remain consistent).

Mariya Ise

The duality and range of her voice is really cool. I think she's mostly on here because of Killua (which is funny since I never finishes HxH) and Ray (we don't talk about The Promised Neverland Season 2). Also, can we just mention how strong she is carrying her career while being a single mom? Some people in Discord were expressing disappointment with/at her, but I think she's doing great from what I can see. Also, I can't wait to hear more from Himeno in Chainsaw Man. From what I hear so far, she's really good.

Atsumi Tanezaki

I got the completely wrong impression about her voice acting after watching Zankyou no Terror and Mahoutsukai no Yome. Since both of those characters were relatively flat, I interpreted her performance as flat as well. However, after seeing her as Satowa in Kono Oto Tomare, Vivy, and most recently as Anya Forger, I realized, I was so fricking wrong.

Aki Toyosaki

I recently finished that Cautious Hero anime, and let's just say, I was not expecting her to go that hard voicing basically blonde Aqua. She did it really well, and she practically carried the show on her back. I get that she's usually known for cutesy roles, but I think she should start getting more casting to play really mature characters like in Re:Creators. I think she sounded great there (not that I ever finished the anime after it put me to sleep every time Inori Minase dropped an exposition rant).

Ayane Sakura

Ayaneru is incredibly talented. She got some hate for playing Gabi from Attack on Titan and Mika from Psycho-Pass 2 because those characters were hated, but ironically, I think that just means her performances made those characters exactly what they were meant to be. I haven't watched either, but I really like her performances in Non Non Biyori (which I also haven't finished), Hero Academia, Hotarubi no Mori e, Gotoubun no Hanayome, and Kakushigoto. I know Kakushigoto wasn't a main role, but she was funny whenever her character had a moment to be. Her chemistry with Kouki Uchiyama is also really endearing, and I would like to see her and Kensho Ono interact considering how much she loves Kana Hanazawa.

Rie Kugimiya

It's funny because a lot of my lists are missing the good veteran voice actors who carried a lot of the series that I first watched. Yet she's the only one that made it onto my new list (mostly because I wanted to shuffle in more of the newer roles I've seen). She was my preferred performance as Kotaro from Kotaro Lives Alone on Netflix (which you should watch); I watched the show both subbed and dubbed, and while both performances were great, I found myself preferring Rie Kugimiya's version. It's hard to explain why. Rie Kugimiya is also behind some of my favourite older roles like Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist, Kagura from Gintama, and Taiga from Toradora.

Sora Amamiya

I could not believe that I had ten voice actresses that I liked more than Ten-chan. But this is how the ranking turned out when I was making it. I really liked her performance as Chizuru from Rent-a-Girlfriend which was one of the only things that carried this show (because it sure wasn't the writing). I prefer her more badass role rather than her cutesy ones like Akame from Akame Ga Kill (who should've been the MC instead of Tatsumi, my 13-year-old self says) and Touka from Tokyo Ghoul. I'm also a fan of TrySail which is the idol group with her, Momo Asakura, and Shiina Natsukawa.

10. Ai Kayano

I honestly haven't watched a lot of her recent roles or some of her most popular ones (I could not sit through Konosuba, Saenai Heroine, or Guilty Crown). However, I watched Anohana and Sakurasou, and those were great. She also had a really entertaining run with Matsuoka since they've co-starred so many times together (seriously, so many). She seems to have a really nice and caring personality. Oh yeah, my friend also recommended that I watch Maquia because it's supposed to make me cry. We'll wait and see.

9. Rie Takahashi

Now, this is one I didn't expect since she wasn't even in my honourable mentions, but I've seen her in a lot of things lately, and I'm pretty sure the roles I've seen her in aren't even her most notable ones with those being Takagi-san and Megumin from Konosuba. Despite that, she made Romantic Killer such a blast, and she's fun to watch in a lot of the events she's in too. There's a seiyuu subber named LegoF who subtitled a lot of her content, but he got taken down. However, he resurrected. I highly recommend Romantic Killer, by the way.

8. Maaya Uchida

I found out about Maaya Uchida way before I found out about her little brother. In fact, when I started watching anime, his career hadn't really taken off yet. Maaya Uchida was the heroine in one of the first anime I'd watched when I was an early teen which was Noragami, and I later watched her breakout role in Chuunibyou as Rikka, and I really enjoyed that one too! When I heard her as Norman in The Promised Neverland, I couldn't believe it was the same person and had to check the cast list. Now, she also plays one of my favourite reverse harem protagonists, Bakarina (Catarina) Claes. She's a ton of fun to watch in the events she's in, and her dynamic with Yuuma is what you'd expect. I like some of her songs too (which are available on Spotify)

7. Asami Seto

Man, I can't wait to finish watching Chihayafuru and Wandering Son. I swear, I'll get around to those eventually. I would've actually preferred her voice as Hori in Horimiya, but I think the cast that was chosen still did a really good job. Regardless, I really like her as Nobara in Jujutsu Kaisen and Mai in Seishun Buta Yarou. Honestly, the ordering of this list doesn't mean all that much because it switched so often (except for the top two).

6. Saori Hayami

I really like her voice, but she's been in so much stuff lately that it almost feels the same way as I do with Yuuichi Nakamura. There is a little bit of over-saturation, but it's not any fault of the voice actor. I watched Akagami no Shirayuki-hime and really liked it. After that, I was drawn to Yamada-kun to 7-nin Majo where she played the main girl Shiraishi, I ended up liking that too. Her portrayal when switching character to character was astounding. She has a ton of other amazing roles too, and her most recent ones that stick out to me are Shinobu from Demon Slayer and Yor from Spy x Family. I expect some really good stuff to come out of Demon Slayer considering how Shinobu's character progresses. I won't spoil.

5. Kana Hanazawa

I know some people are a little bit upset about how she hasn't gotten as many roles lately, and there's always the crowd that says that "that's what it means to be part of the industry", but Kana's impact on one of the most pivotal eras of anime will forever leave a mark, and I mean it, she was one of the first idol seiyuu I saw, and she is really good at her job. She made Deadman Wonderland a lot of fun, and she played the best girl in Nisekoi (will never forget how dirty the manga did her). She also stuck out as some nasty villains in Akame Ga Kill and Tokyo Ghoul. While writing this, I was also reminded that she plays Ichika who isn't a "villain" per se, but everyone in that fandom sure makes her out to be one. I still like that role, and I think she convinced me so well that she played the older sister that I forgot it was her.

4. Haruka Tomatsu

She played the heroine in the first anime I watched (in subs)! And I'll be honest, I get why people call that heroine a bit bland, but I don't care, I like her all the same. Morgiana is fricking tough and badass. I will wait for a Magi season 3. I believe in it. I will go fricking watch it on Netflix again if it means we get the rest of the manga adapted. She was so much fun to watch in Horimiya too! She made so many of the funny bits, and she made me feel like I was watching a teen romcom (I was) despite being probably pregnant at the time (which is why she couldn't do some of the Horimiya events). I enjoy some of her music too, especially Sphere.

3. Mikako Komatsu

This one was the result that surprised me the most, but the reasoning is similar to that of Rie Takahashi's placement. Both of them were really good in Romantic Killer, and Mikakoshi's range never ceases to amaze me. I think my favourite recent role from her is Riri from Romantic Killer and Maki from Jujutsu Kaisen which are just the absolute opposite of roles. Even her music has polar opposites. I listened to the ending theme of Romantic Killer right after listening to "Maybe The Next Waltz" and got whiplash so hard. Also, congrats to her and Maeno! Pretty much all of the seiyuu I watched when I got into anime are now becoming parents, and I really don't know how to feel about that.

2. Maaya Sakamoto

My opinion on this one hasn't changed, and I still stand by the fact that Maaya Sakamoto is one of the best seiyuu singers out there, and I respect her singing a lot. She even has some musical theatre experience! Her voice acting range is incredible, and I was so happy when I found out that her and Kenichi Suzumura had their first child! Even though I haven't watched all of her titular roles, I really like what I have seen, and it's enough for me to put it this high on the list. Also, I'm really looking forward to hearing her and Rie Takahashi when I get around to watching Re:Zero Season 2.

1. Miyuki Sawashiro

Since my opinion about her really hasn't changed all that much, I will just put pretty much the same entry as last time. I watched a radio segment with her and her brother. She sounds like an awesome older sister. Bishamon is honestly such a caring epic goddess who takes in people because she wants to care for them. She is a respectable goddess who is one of my favourite Noragami characters. Celty is a mysterious biker who is also really cool. Even though she barely speaks literally in Durarara, Miyuki reads her texts perfectly. If I'm going to continue watching Durarara, it's gonna be for Celty. The quest to find what she has been missing is one of my favourite sides of the story. Seo from Gekkan Shoujo is an inspiration who I love to this day. She’s one of my favourite characters, and I always rewatch her scenes. I love her voice and her singing. She speaks English and plays the piano too. I can’t even express in words how much respect I have for her. I would love to meet her someday. Also, I want another season of both Noragami and Gekkan Shoujo. There's more than enough people who want to watch those. Come on.

A.I Art and How It Is Ruining Art as a Whole

A.I. art has recently blown up.. pretty much everywhere. You see accounts on Instagram and Twitter dedicated to sharing these pretty or even funny/silly pieces of art made by an A.I. The A.I art trend on TikTok now that everyone and their great great grandfather are doing it. It's everywhere, and it's kind of scary, actually

I understand that not everyone is using it in a harmful or bad way, some do it recreationally because it is fun to do. It's fun to put my dorky little pieces of art into an ai and then it shows something so laughably bad. it's fun. really fun. but there are also those who use it in a bad way.

Some companies have already started firing their hard-working, talented artists because of A.I which is horrible. There was a huge debate awhile ago that is still brought up sometimes that robots are just stealing people's jobs. I have to admit I can see from a business point of view how it could be good, faster working, endless shifts, and other stuff but is that really worth it to be putting people out of jobs?

Art is such a beautiful thing. From the beginning of time, we have embraced art into our cultures and passed stories through art for decades and decades and decades. Take the Aboriginal Australian Dream Time stories, for instance. They were passed down THROUGH ART. We would never be the humans we are without art. it is human nature to create art and express ourselves through it.

So that's why i find it so immoral that we are slowly letting A.I take over the genre of art. Plus A.I art is kind of odd, like in the uncanny valley. On the surface level it looks fine but if you stare at it for too long you'll start to realise that it's fake, a human didn't make that. Its such a weird and gross feeling. Like finding out a lie you've been told your entire life was well a lie. A pit in your stomach starts to grow because of the feeling.

I think A.I art has it's benefits and I know A.I has brought some great tools for real artists to use but I don't feel like they should be creating art themselves.

Nami (One Piece)

Sexuality: Lesbian

Nami from One Piece is easily one of the most obviously queer coded characters in the entire series along with our ace king Luffy ofc.

The most recent conclusion about sexuality that scientists and psychologists have made is that early childhood does effect your sexuality. Nami’s childhood was spent closely with her adoptive mother and sister and was constantly surrounded by positive and strong women. She was also forced to join a solely-male based pirate group named the Arlong Pirates, who put her through extremely traumatizing experiences since she was 4 years old.

To be fully honest it’s been a WHILE since I’ve watched or even been involved with My Hero Academia, so my evidence thread probably isn’t going to be that long.

Her and any other MHA woman, like seriously. She just gets totally flustered and plus her relationship with men just seems so much more business like than with women.

*slams down the heavy tome* i hope you are ready for the can of worms you’ve unleashed. also, i’m sorry for any hopes i get and subsequently dash.

so, in no particular order, we have: - klabaturerman franky. now this one i have done things for but i still wanna. do more. like, him interacting with the merry, and the crew learning what he is, that sort of things. - related to this, is a more general sea spirit/fae franky au, just cuz i like fae stuff. i do have some art ideas for this, i just. haven’t done any of them yet. - supernatural frobrobin au, where franky is a (recently turned) werewolf, robin is a vampire, brook is…brook, and they’re all trapped in a magic mansion by some curse. and it’s just them growing close and bonding and trying to break free. also, ghibli vibes. - speaking of ghibli…howl’s moving castle au. featuring franky as sophie with a curse that turns him into a perceptually broken robot, and robin as howl, but with her canon backstory with the government. also has luffy as calcifer, usopp as merkel, brook as turnip head, and nami/crocodile as a weird split version of the witch of the waste (with croc as the villain and nami as the redeemed version). - a pacific rim au, expect it takes place in a post-apoc version where the kaiji have basically won. starts with luffy, usopp, and chopper finding an abandoned jaeger and decided to pilot it. not sure abt the plot on this one, but it does have franky as a disillusioned former jaeger pilot/engineer. - my franky/blueno au, which is being run by vibes and little else. pretty canon-compliant, but with blueno and franky becoming friends (and possibly more) and then dramatically falling out after the reveal. i initially described it as enemies to lovers, but really, it's lovers to enemies. no happy ends here, boys. - several, count ‘em, SEVERAL franky/rosi aus, cuz i got way to into them and had a lot of ideas and then. never did anything with them - main one is them having a meet cute in water 7, before rosi goes undercover with doffy and before the whole sea train thing happens (rosi’s about 24yo, franky’s 21). it’s basically just them bonding and being cute before going their separate ways. - the other one is a sprawling splitting mess of an au that has the two meet as kids on the streets and becoming fast friends. then they get found by sengoku and becoming marines, with rosi training with sengoku and franky becoming vegapunk’s protege. I had one idea where they were close to saul, and after the arrest of olivia became disillusioned with the marines and helped her escape, and then joining her try to save ohara. another branch is rosi still going undercover with doffy, but with franky in tow, and that whole she-bang happening, but with franky, rosi, and law all escaping alive. plus a bunch of minor plot threads that i'm forgetting. again, it's a mess. - various frobrobin aus set in the early-mid 19th century (20s-50s mostly) with mobs, romance and political intrigue. - a roleswap au that i have bits and pieces of written, i’ve just never finished it. unfortunately doesn’t have jinbe in it cuz he’s just too hard to swap with, and i started this before he joined. - i’ve written a summary of this before, but my rouge adopts franky au that ultimately leads to franky being a big bro to asl. - a disney's beauty and the beast au, where robin is the “beast” (cursed child who has been outcast from society and became a monster to survive with a flower motif) and franky is the “beauty” aka belle (intelligence child of an eccentric inventor whose ostracized by the town and willing to sacrifice himself to save another). has lucci as an altered gaston and the straw hats (+ others) as various cursed castle residents. - an arc style idea (not really sure if it counts as an au) where franky gets kidnapped and experimented on by the government. basically my whumptober comic, but in long-fic form. - pokemon aus! i’m mostly entertaining these two: - one piece but with pokemon, and how the straw hats met their various pokemon partners. - and a pmd au with the straw hats as the pmd starters (this one is a drawing, so i might actually finish it) - and i do wanna do something with pokemon gijinka, i just

haven’t given it much thought. - an au where law convinces franky to join his crew bc doffy has been trying to muscle in on water 7 and law is basically like, "we both hate this guy, let's team up". this one is very shaky, but I do still love the idea. - a subnautica au? hear me out. it has the straw hats as space pirates that infiltrate the aurora right before it gets shot down, and they end up trapped on the alien planet. they get split into three main groups: franky, luffy, usopp / robin, chopper, jinbe, sanji / zoro, nami, brook. and they all basically try to survive and find the others in their own ways.

- an au where the crew stops at a weird marriage theme island and franky and brook get married by accident. which is a problem cuz this marriage is ~magic~ and psychically bonds them together. so the crew has to figure out how to undo it. also features frobrobin and zosopp. - a cookie run crossover au, with the straw hats as cookies. pretty basic, expect i, like with most things, went overboard and then never finished it. - and some zosopp aus! - a superhero actor au, where usopp is a new actor playing sogeking in a new kids show and zoro is the main villain, and they fall in love. - an au where usopp is a tengu that guards a small forest (but mostly plays harmless pranks) and zoro who is a lost woodsman, and they become close and fall in love. And also maybe save the forest from a rich jerk along the way. - a gurren lagann crossover au, where usopp is simon and franky is kamina, with all the angst that implies. i really like this concept, but I haven’t actually finished gurren lagann, so… - a leverage au, where the straw hats are a band of thieves that help people out. basically taking canon and sticking in a thief/modern au. - you know those one piece rewrite aus? i have one of those, surprise, surprise. starts with gin joining the straw hats with sanji and quickly branching off from there. other big changes include: - jinbe getting introduced super early and helping the straw hats with arlong, and then becoming an ally until he later joins - brook getting swept back to the beginning of the grand-line and meets the straw hats when they first arrive. gets to reunite with laboon before decideding to join the straw hats to finish his old crew’s journey. - a delay in loguetown means that croc succeeds in taking over albasta and the straws hats help vivi overthrow him (with robin working with cobra in the background to betray croc); ends with vivi joining the straw hats bc she publicly allied with pirates - franky running from water 7 with the blueprints and ends up working for doflamingo. He gets sent to check in on croc (and search for robin) after he takes over alabasta and ends up kicking it with the straw hats and eventually deciding to betray doffy and join them - there’s like. a lot more, but if I do ever end up writing it I don’t wanna spoil all of it. - but im probably not, cuz this would be looooooong. *lets out a deep breath* and that’s about it. and if anyone wants to steal any of these ideas, please do, i would love you forever.

Taking on more of Divi’s physical attributes, all excluding your Vivi’s famous snowflake pupil and lil white strand on the side of her hair, this cold being is a force to be reckoned with. Ice cube represents both of these girls’ protective nature and sense of justice, acting as a guardian to those they hold dear; and most of all, a being that protects and guides all life (and all those alike in death, too). In turn, this fusion takes on Divi’s God powers, able to create other worldly beings if they so chose so. With their combined energies, they don’t waste as much energy to do so. Anything would be possible, if this fusion put their mind to it to make it.

Plus, not only has their own ice abilities have grown 10x as stronger too? Their powers are driven into high gear in this fusion, making the energy they produce now make the air about them EXTREMELY freezing cold as a result. If you got too close, that cold air would potentially make ice form upon your body if you stood there for too long.

And, given both of these girls are strong, this fusion is pretty hefty in the strength apartment too! If they’re not careful, they could potentially break a LOT of stuff without even thinking about it. This fusion is an unpredictable Ice God, once you have these two draw together.

Plus, also!! While they’ll rarely do it, it is possible for this type of fusion to exist in this canon. Is this an excuse to explore this fusion more? Yeah, why the hell not!

Okay I actually got an ask. So, in your opinion, what design of godzilla do you think Vivienne and Ishiro would reincarnate into? Like, if there were different species of Godzilla, i.e. pacific variant and a Atlantic variant and so on(that's the only example I can think of). Think the different kinds of crocs and gators if it helps convey what I'm trying to say.

That is a good question. In terms of Godzilla species, let’s examine a few gator-crocs and also take a look at some concept art from the 2014 artbook...

Let’s start with Goji!Vivienne. She’d be of a smaller subspecies that could hunt in groups (a bask of Gojis?). Pretty chill when not on the hunt. But if you go near the nest or try to sneak a bite off her lunch she’ll turn into an amphibious/reptilian honey badger and OH GOD THE TEETH

Kaprosuchus, basically Boar Crocodile.

Pardon the glare, had to get a decent image. In terms of body she’d be small (the titan equivalent of 5′2) and her spines wouldn’t be as pronounced. Not that size is an issue when you’ve got a frickin’ spike trap for a mouth. I like to imagine her having a stripey coloration, like a tiger shark.

Now for sensei! He of course would be bigger. Maybe not Godzilla’s size, but he’s a big boy. I almost imagine him looking kind of like that point in evolution where dino-crocs/gators were starting to resemble t-rexes.

He’d have more pronounced dorsal spines than Goji!Vivienne, maybe almost like the “Christmas tree” fins seen in the art book. Plus a coloration distinct from other... gojisauruses? Gojisaurians? While Vivi has the death jaws going on, Serizawa has a particularly long and powerful tail, useful for trapping and rolling prey in water... or if he just needs to smack a bitch.

Galactica, Chapter 5 (Group Fic) - TheDane/Veronica

A/N: Since we’re on a roll and impatient as fuck, we decided to up our posting rate! Hope you enjoy! Click here if you’re looking for previous chapters (or here if you’d rather read on AO3). 💫

Last Chapter: Violet gave Trixie a heads-up about Fame’s dislike of the new collection, and moved into her new apartment--where she found some very welcoming neighbors.

This Chapter: All hands on deck as Fame demands a complete reconceptualization of their Spring collection.

Fame swept into the office on Monday, all business, barely looking Violet in the eye as she rattled off a waterfall of orders.

Fame pulled off her coat and dropped it, nearly letting it fall on the floor before Violet dove forward to catch it.

“Have you taken care of the messages I left you over the weekend?”

Fame seemed almost frantic, her energy all over the place.

“I’m almost done Miss,” Violet folded her coat over her arm, holding out her hand for Fame’s bag. “I just need to confirm wit-”

“Good.” Fame hung her bag on Violet’s wrist, the weight almost toppling Violet over if it hadn’t been for her hours at the gym. “Have you ordered the new fabrics I talked about?”

Violet nodded. “They are on their wa-”

“And what about my new assistant?”

“Yes-” Violet reached for her desk, a stack of resumes already printed out. “I’m starting the pre-interviews tomorrow-”

“Wonderful.” Fame completely ignored Violet and the papers she was holding out, instead walking towards her office. Violet quickly disposed of Fame’s coat and bag, putting both down on her desk so she could grab Fame’s coffee and the letters for the day before she followed her.

“Remember, only perfection is accepted,” Fame instructed, settling down at her desk.

“Yes, Miss.” Violet handed her the coffee, which Fame took a single sip of before she scrunched her nose and handed it back to Violet.

“I’d like a new latte and a medium fruit salad, no pineapple.”

“Yes Miss.”

“Is that the schedule for the day?”

Violet nodded and handed her the paper.

“Also, before you go. Get Raja up here. I need to discuss the collection. That’s all,” Fame said, turning to her computer.

It wasn’t for a few minutes that Violet realized how serious Fame was about the collection change. She was standing in line at the coffee shop, checking her email, when she saw that Fame had sent one to the entire senior management team.

Subject: URGENT

All hands on deck meeting at 3 pm today to discuss a complete re-conceptualization of our Spring collection. Bring your best ideas, ready to discuss, along with samples and visual aids. Be prepared to work late.

Violet gulped, forwarding the email to all of the applicable assistants, when another one ticked in.

Subject: Violet - Get me Pearl

“This is interesting, try to get a sample of the skirt done ASAP and then spruce up the sketch,” Trixie said.

Trixie had been walking around the busy design floor, checking out what his team had come up with over the weekend. Ever since getting Violet’s text last Friday, he had a sinking feeling in his stomach that Fame was about to bring down a hammer, and so they needed to be prepared with new ideas.

Half of the team was working on changes and additions to their current collection. Half of them were working on entirely new concepts and ideas.

‘Remember guys,’ he’d said before they left on Friday. ‘This is a spaghetti against the wall situation. No bad ideas, time to explore everything. If it’s unique and innovative, that’s a plus. Pull out your passion projects.’

The truth was, Trixie had no idea what to expect. Fame had been silent all weekend, which made him even more nervous. Usually she’d send at least a few texts or emails. Ideas that popped into her head. A doodle on a notepad. Image references. But now, when she was allegedly questioning their whole collection? Nada.

Trixie walked over to where April was draping out an ornate sample dress in multiple shades of blue, telling her to carry on. Then he moved on to Alexis, scrutinizing the sketches on her desk with a critical eye.

“Some of these shapes are interesting, but I need you to redo them with different colors and fabrics,” he told her. “Remember, the color story is apparently the thing she’s most ambivalent about.”

“Got it,” Alexis said with a good-natured sigh, picking up a fresh pad.

“Um, Trixie?” Kandy looked up, a terrified look on her face as she hung up the phone.

“Yes?”

“Raja says to check your emails, don’t panic, and that she’s coming down to fill you in,” Kandy said.

Trixie pulled out his phone, stomach lurching as he read the email from Miss Fame, face going pale.

His worst fear had just come true: they were facing a complete reconceptualization. He looked up, forcing a smile in order to not terrify the design team even more.

“Okay,” he said, attempting to keep his voice light. “New plan...Blu, Jovan, Gia? Forget about the adjustments you were working on. We’re looking for fresh ideas, anything that you think could be a new signature piece. Everyone: the deadline is today at 3 pm.”

A small gasp rippled through the team as they realized how soon that was.

“Three pm?” Blu asked, the Irish designer looking like she might burst into tears.

“Yeah.” Trixie scanned the room again, hating the anxiety that he saw on everyone’s face, which he knew full well was not conducive to innovation. “And try to have fun. Remember, this is fashion, not heart surgery. No one’s gonna die.”

“We might die,” Jovan muttered under his breath, ripping his current piece out of a sewing machine and tossing it onto the ground.

“It’ll be okay,” Trixie put a hand on Jovan’s shoulder. He was his oddest worker, the wrinkly brain he had coming up with the most beautiful, crazy, intricate ideas when he was left to his own devices. “I promise.” Trixie squeezed, trying to put as much conviction behind his words as he could. “Just do your best.”

Pearl had just settled into her chair, ready to see if anything exciting had happened on Twitter while she had been by the design department to give Trixie his lunch.

It wasn’t something she normally did, but Katya had been near heartbroken when she saw that Trixie had forgotten the lunchbox she had made him that morning, and since Pearl was a pretty damn good roommate in her own opinion, she had volunteered to deliver it.

Katya had given her a kiss and a hug as thanks before she hurried out the door, two tote bags and canvas under both arms. If Pearl didn’t love her so much, she’d be almost disgusted with how good of a human being Katya was, spending her summer as a volunteer art teacher at a community center in the Bronx.

Her beating heart was however also the reason that Pearl hadn’t been kicked out of the apartment she shared with her Trixie when he and Katya had started dating, so who was she to complain?

A polite cough came from the door just as Pearl was catching up on Olivier Rousteing’s Instagram. She turned around and came face to face with Violet.

Pearl smiled; it was always a joy to see Violet, the other always a sight for sore eyes with her almost impeccable beauty.

It was always fun to see what Violet would wear, the woman almost vintage in her style.

“Is that Gabbana?”

“Of course it’s Gabbana” Violet smoothed down her skirt, and Pearl smiled. She was the only person who Pearl knew that could wear a button up, and still look like someone begging to get fucked.

“You’re late.”

“Am I?” Pearl smirked. Violet was fun to rile up, but Fame was her favorite, one of her very best days at work happening because she had agitated her boss on purpose.

“Is this about the collection? Trixie told me Fame has officially freaked.”

Violet didn’t say anything, and Pearl almost wanted to roll her eyes.

“I’ll take that silence as a yes.”

Violet was an annoyingly good assistant, never saying a word against Fame, always holding her tongue even when it would have been more than fair to complain.

“She wants you in her office in 10.”

“So I’m not actually late?” Pearl turned around to her iMac, seeing that the small email icon on her screen was blinking red. “Ah.”

Pearl realized that Violet had just saved her from Fame’s disappointment, but there was no way she was going to let the other know of her gratitude.

It was too early in the game for that.

“Sorry for helping you.” Violet huffed, rolling her eyes. “Here-” Violet put a folder down on Pearl’s desk. “In case you want to actually prepare-”

“Thanks Vivi.”

“Don’t call me that.”

“Shit.” Trixie exhaled a groan of frustration as he dumped down in his chair. He had known the email was coming, but it had still felt like a punch to the gut when he’d actually seen it.

Raja had come straight from a meeting with Fame, and Trixie had known it was bad, real bad, when he had seen how Raja’s normally ice cold exterior was chipped.

Trixie sighed, burrowing his head in his hands for a minute. He hated having to push his designers, hated forcing them to deliver in extreme conditions. A few of them thrived on it, Betty always delivering excellent work, while Aiden almost always buckled when he didn’t have time to pay attention to his details.

Trixie reached into his mini-fridge, taking the lunch Pearl had stopped by to drop off for him. It was only 10:30, but he unpacked it anyway. Katya had packed two pieces of carrot cake, a can of diet coke and as Trixie opened the metal container, the lovely smell of Katya’s best mushroom and cheese blinis greeted him.

He opened his drawer, pulling out a fork as he turned his computer on, the promise of carrot cake the only thing getting him through the avalanche of worried emails he knew was waiting for him.

Raja heaved a sigh as she stepped off the elevator. She’d been trying to give Trixie a warning about Fame’s current state of mind without causing the EVP of Design to freak out, but couldn’t shake the notion that she’d failed, seeing the crease in his forehead deepen the more she spoke, until she’d finally just left him with a firm pat on the back. She entered her own suite, the rich fabrics and warm colors immediately soothing her, although her relief was short-lived, since Jaida was perched on Ivy’s desk, a stern look on her face.

“I need to talk to you.”

Jaida was the most recent addition to their management team. The bright, resourceful CFO joined them almost two years ago, when Patrick stepped away from the day to day financial management to focus on his own firm. She’d truly been a godsend—immediately understanding the need for creative flexibility in their budgets, and helping to streamline the company’s organization in a way that was incredibly effective even as they grew by leaps and bounds.

But now, Jaida’s beautiful face was about the last one that Raja wanted to see. She was well-aware that Fame’s email had caused mass panic, and Jaida’s mind was probably already spinning in 100 different directions, thinking about how their timelines would now completely change the budget for Fashion Week beyond the normal contingency plan.

Raja gestured to her office, resigned to have this conversation now, and Jaida immediately sailed in, settling on the forest green velvet couch that Raven had picked out. Raja turned to Ivy, requesting some herbal tea, before joining her.

“So, Jaida, what are you brightening my day with?”

“An entire reconceptualization, Raja?”

“I’m aware that-”

“Has she completely lost it? Can’t you talk to her?” Jaida implored.

“Fame has made up her mind.”

“Ughhh!” Jaida’s hand fell into her hands.

“What a mature response-”

Raja was cut off when Shangela burst into the office. One of their longest and most loyal employees, the Director of Operations usually never panicked, taking on every challenge with an almost annoying amount of enthusiastic joy.

It was possible, Raja supposed, that she was extra annoyed by Shangela because of their failed relationship, but she liked to tell herself that that was besides the point.

“There you are! I’ve been looking all over for you!” Shangela exclaimed, taking a seat across from Jaida.

“I was stalking Ms. Gemini here.” Jaida pointed with her thumb.

“Shangela, you’re in my office-” Raja began.

“Listen. I just want to make sure everyone understands the situation at hand. Bendela is already asking to double the staff in the tailoring department through September, and Alyssa says that this is going to potentially triple the budget for the media campaigns, and-”

“I know! It’s a shit show!” Jaida exclaimed.

Raja closed her eyes. Where the fuck was Ivy with her tea?

“I hear your concerns, however, we haven’t even had the creative meeting yet, so don’t you think we’re getting a little ahead of ourselves?”

“But Bendela says-”

“Of course she does, Shangela.” Raja sighed. Shangela was always so dramatic, but she was irritatingly good at her job.

“Bendela’s been requesting to hire more tailors for months now. That doesn’t mean that her estimate is accurate and if she truly sticks to her guns, Trixie just interviewed potential interns. I’m sure some of them can be assigned to tailoring.”

Ivy pushed her way through the door, a tray with coffee and tea for everyone in her hands.

“Right, okay, but what about-”

“We’re going to get through today, listen to what Fame has to say, what ideas everyone comes up with, and then reconvene tomorrow morning,” Raja said, gratefully accepting the tea that Ivy handed over.

“Fine,” Jaida said. “But if I were you, I’d convince Miss Fame that the current collection is brilliant.”

“You don’t think I tried that?” Raja laughed.

“Fair enough,” Jaida replied, finally letting a small giggle escape.

“Another day in paradise,” Shangela added, rising up from the couch.
