Jotaro is an absolutely enormous doggo who Holly adopted as a tiny pupper and they both love each other very much. Jotaro's always had his Stand and his much higher than average intelligence, and has something of a small silent war going on with Joseph because the man swears something is up with Jotaro and Jotaro in turns takes great joy in fucking with him when nobody's looking

if Holly weren't currently dying, Joseph would've been having SUCH an I Told You So moment

initially they were planning on leaving Jotaro behind, but he somehow managed to sneak onto the plane so they're kinda stuck with him, but he's very useful so they can't exactly complain

he's also very good emotional support, which is always appreciated :D

And you can bet when Iggy shows up it's on fucking SIGHT with these two. Iggy thinks Jotaro's an arrogant suck up and Jotaro wants to punt Iggy into the sun

also, screw average dog life spans, I'm saying having a Stand extends an animal's lifespan by a substantial amount so the later parts still get to happen with this silly little doggo

SCP-███ screamed, immediately imitating the crying of a child to match the form it took, (Possible attempt to gain sympathy from SCP-682), and crawled into the back wall of its enclosure. SCP-682 continued to advance and attack SCP-███ with little resistance from the latter.

Test interrupted by containment breach of SCP-173. As a result, SCP-682 breached containment as well and was secured later on. SCP-███ was found by █████ ████.

Yeah... kinda got excited there. The whole SD/FMA crossover thing for me started as a what if Scooby was a Chimera and just went from there. (Hi, person from the anons btw) Still love both tho, my personal thoughts were that Ed is Fred, Ling is Shaggy (Asian Shaggy), Velma is Al, and Daphne is Winry. ((And yes, other anon, Scooby is Nina.))

i just tried to take a second to picture the pure Chaos those 5 trying to do Anything and came to the conclusion it would be straight up balls to the walls InSanity like can you even IMAGINE

they go to unmask the villain of the week and ed just, fucking decks him. Al’s trying to describe how they solved the mystery or whatever and ed is just on the floor attacking this old dude dressed in a gorilla mask all while winry loudly threatens him with dismemberment should he damage her automail. What if Holly ended up visiting the Foundation when she was a young woman and there was a Containment Breach, during which she accidentally found this small kid and logically decides "okay, it's dangerous right now, gotta keep this kid safe" and lets the little Jotaro into her hiding spot. Maybe she even gives him a candy she had in her bag (Holly seems like to kind of person who'd have the Magic Bag Of Everything and no matter what you need or want she's got it)

and on his end of things Jotaro's decided "I've only known this woman for a few minutes but if anything happened to her I'd kill everyone here and then myself"

And then once he's been contained again and Holly goes back home, he just. Keeps managing to break out and always manages to make his way back to her. Doesn't matter what security measures they use or if they relocate him to the other side of the world, he always manages to get out and just chills with Holly, even if it's just for a couple hours

eventually (with some very convincing arguments and a whole slideshow from Holly), they end up just. Letting Holly keep him because aside from when he breaks out, he's not actually doing any harm and seems to genuinely only want to be with her. They do set some very strict guidelines on what Jotaro is and isn't allowed to do and make it clear that any trouble will get him right back to the facility, and some of the Foundation workers who check in probably aren't..... the kindest to him, but Holly is a damn good mother and more than makes up for it

I'll admit I don't know too much about SCPs, but I had a possible thought for Jotaro's Thing

What if he has a kind of learning/mimicking/creating type thing that only affects himself with almost limitless boundaries except it has to be what he wants on a deep, internalized level. He wanted to hide and be seen as a non-threat, so he took the form of a seemingly helpless human child. He wanted to be with Holly again, so he was able to escape every time and find her no matter where he was taken. He wanted to be her son, so he seems to grow and age like a human. He wants to protect her, so he "grows up" to be big and strong and capable

But with all this knowledge, everything he knows and everything he can be...... it can blend together and leads to him being socially awkward. He has difficulties communicating and sometimes he gets stuck in loops of indecision when he can't figure out what would be the best to do or say and then can get frustrated when people don't understand what he means. His family is usually pretty good at recognizing when he has these moments, but to outsiders it can be difficult

SCP Jotaro would probably be a bit different from Canon Jotaro.

For one, I don't think he'd lash out at Holly. Even more so than in canon, Holly is one of the only people he can trust because she is one of the only people he knows will fight for him if the Foundation tries to take him back. A small part of him is terrified of her deciding one day to just let them take him, but most of him knows that she would never. She is his mother and he is her son. They protect each other.

As for another, when he does lash out, he'd have to be W A Y more careful about when and how. Skipping school and the like would be mostly fine, but getting into fights? That is a HARD no because even if he didn't start them it would still be dangerous and pose a risk toward him getting taken away again. This....... actually adds another layer to him locking himself in the cell when Star manifests and he accidentally hurts those guys

FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST AND MYSTERY SKULLS CROSSOVER/FUSION!!!! Like, we could have the fma characters as msa characters and vice versa, or have the Elric Brothers and the Mystery Gang MEET. I am shocked and appalled that no one else has thought of these, it's a total waste of potential, angst and fluff, story material!!!

I do recall several different occurrences where arthur and the gang dress up in cosplay, but never an actual crossover of the two! there was a brilliant art post here (will edit with link) that combined the two, but that’s as far as it got as far as I know.

(my favorite was someone going “that’s the wrong arm idiot!” and arthur just rips his prosthetic off and waves it over his head “no shit!”)

plot-wise, the only idea I can think of right now would be artie trying to transmute lewis back to life and losing his arm (and memories too maybe?) for his troubles? or actually!! maybe lew isn’t totally dead yet and the circle is trying to heal his body or whatever but the cost is too much (so art only lost a limb instead of more), and his soul managed to be bound at the last moment to an armor like Al was? (I’d say he’s bound to the locket, the mark’s inside across or behind the photo, but he wouldn’t have a body then…)

UNLESS!!! maybe he can possess/share a body with whoever is wearing the locket (kinda like Greedling but not 24/7)! which would mostly be arthur in this case, since I don’t know how to slot Vivi and Mystery in? [because WE ARE NOT GOING THAT ROUTE EXCUSE YOU]

nvm! They def would join the duo in their adventures, like they meet at whatever the equivalent of the state alchemist program is? and then follow Vi around as investigating haunts and ghost sightings (in art/lew’s case) to try and find a way for lewis to come back (or at least not just be stuck in a locket anymore, if these ghost stories turn out to have any merit to them?)

Oh wow, people still remember that au? :o Hmm, let me see...

-Millennium World is complete chaos now that we have two vessels involved instead of one. So the duel with Zorc as Bakura and Yugi now includes Jounouchi cause he at least deserves a rematch! That little duel before time stopped was utter nonsense!

-I am *this* close to just letting Atem stay with them cause the ending of ygo is bullshit, and Yugi is more than happy to have another roommate

-But if he leaves, we get DSOD and we see Jounouchi actually being saved by Atem, who talks with him. We get to see more of that than just Atem posing in the distance.

-I will always have the bad guy never knowing that Jounouchi is the other vessel for Atem’s soul, so it’s always a surprise. ‘Really? This guy!? First the tiny man and now king dork?!’

-I’m surprised that it took them so long to tell anyone, you’d think either of them would have let it slip that a ghost lives in their souls

-Kaiba starts to see Jounouchi as more of a rival than as a constant annoyance the longer Atem hangs around. He can see that both of them duel differently with that deck Jou has, and he has to admit... Jou has a better grasp of such a risky deck than even the spirit. He’s not gonna admit this out loud, of course.

For Yellow Streak, the yellow lantern ring is an alien piece of magic technology right? (Sorry, I'm not very familiar with DC or marvel.) The first thing I thought of was Steven Universe and the Gems. How it can create constructs out of hard light, a supercomputer artificial intelligence, and seemingly has a mind of its own (even before Shaggy gave it a conscience). I wonder what other abilities it has, would you mind shedding some light on that? And things that Shaggy may be able to do with it?

The Ring as it originally was was pure alien tech, a copy of the Oan’s green power rings made by Sinestro. It didn’t really have an artificial intelligence as much as a couple of preprogrammed behaviors. Basically the Green Rings had a failsafe, if the Ringbearer died it would find the nearest person who fit the core values as espoused by the Green Lanterns and that would be the new bearer. Sinestro fudged that a bit by programming the Prime Yellow Ring to alway go to the person who was the greatest source of fear, in his ego never thinking that it might not be him.

As we all know, this bit him in the butt. The Rng transferred itself to Shaggy who scared himself more than Sinestro scared others (and probably solidifed it since now Sinestro was scared of Shaggy and Scooby, who could challenge the source of his power)

Rings change started almost immediately. In the comic that started this the Superheroes had been shrunk by a device of Brainiac’s. After Shaggy gets Ring Fred (mistakenly) says power rings can do “Anything you can imagine.” So Shaggy imagines the Justice League as their normal size and it reverses the effects of the shrink ray. Obviously that’s not how power rings work. But it is how magic works. For the purpose of the fic, this is the first example of Shaggy using Ring as a magic focus, rather that using it’s inherent powers.

This effect is magnified after Shaggy in given custody of the Ring in Yellow Streak. The idea was to drains it’s power so without a lantern to recharge it, it was harmless, therefore they encouraged Shaggy to use it as often as he could, to hasten the drain. This involved Shaggy subconciouslly channeling magic through it more often than not which, coupled with his own perceptions, awoke the ring as a thinking being.

The Ring standard powers as a power ring are creating Hard Light constructs, translation, allowing the bearer to survive in vacuum, and scanning. Since becoming aware of Shaggy’s magic and it’s own connection to it (since Ring ‘feeds’ off it) it can store magical power or throttle it, stopping Shaggy from unknowingly casting spells (like his self inflicted curse). As it learns more Ring may be able to use it’s connection to Shaggy’s power to cast spells of it’s own volition.

Incidentally, there’s one power Ring has, but that would be telling;)
