DATING REYNA AVILA RAMIREZ-ARELLANO WOULD INCLUDE:

• Following the “lowkey kinda hate u” to “okay i can tolerate u” to “fUCK i like u” trope

• You’d definitely have to be the flirtier one, but sometimes during training when she’s observing she’ll spend extra time with you and make some suggestive comments that can be interpreted one way or another

• Beaming at her from afar or simply winking at her would definitely make distract her from whoever she’s talking to

• You steal her clothes (pants, hoodies, t-shirts, even one pair of her boots that she forced you to return)

• You guys would have sort of a secret relationship for a while with the only people knowing at Camp Jupiter Hazel, Frank, and maybe a couple of your close friends

• One night your friend group with Reyna, Hazel, and Frank decided to have a movie night, and when everyone else fell asleep you and Reyna were left alone, and you guys ended up accidentally cuddling

• Hazel woke up early and found you two and took pictures for blackmail fun

• Glances across the mess hall or during Senate meetings

• Giving her nods of encouragement or a thumbs up when she addresses the Legion or Senate

• The Seven + Nico & Will visiting Camp Jupiter and Hazel breaking the news to Nico quietly that Reyna has a “boyfriend/girlfriend/partner” and Nico exclaiming “she has a WHAT” and everyone finds out then

• Cooking together would include either the most delicious meal ever cooked or a half-baked disaster with flour on the floor and terribly cracked eggs on the countertop (depends on what kind of mood you two are in)

• Stealing her cloak and wrapping it around yourself for comfort (she pretends to mind but she actually finds it adorable)

• Cheek kisses, forehead kisses, hand kisses (I’ll leave it at that)

• Reyna gives you her ring (the silver one with the symbol of Bellona on it) and you give her one of yours

• She has one of your hair ties or bracelets around her wrist at all times

• (People find out you two are dating this way, but then one day Reyna kisses your hand in public and leaves you a blushing mess and the whole camp practically explodes)

• You definitely got the “hurt her & i’ll kill you” talk from Nico with Hazel behind him, nodding in agreement, with Frank looking a bit scared for you

• Reyna got mad at this but you told her to relax and she said “I suppose I can let it go” and was fine

• You convince Reyna easily

• One simple puppy eye look and Reyna’s like “FINE”

• One little “please” and she gives in

• (works the other way around as well. who could say no to her?)

• Annabeth & Jason watching you to make sure you are treating Reyna right (and of course you are because if you weren’t the entire camp would’ve killed you by now)

• They warm up to you eventually

• The entire camp is Reyna’s protection squad. Hurt her and you’ll get the full unrestrained wrath of the legion

• Reyna’s actually a huge softie when you guys are alone, but tell anyone else that and she will throw you out the window with no hesitation

• She can’t help but smile at you and grab your hands whenever she can

• Her eyes light up whenever you walk into a room and everyone’s like “holy shit she’s in love”

• (everyone else notices this but you)

• Of course, the same can be said for you because you absolutely melt under Reyna’s gaze

• You guys secretly cuddle at night… but you’re too shy to talk about it and she has a reputation to uphold

• She is the big spoon.

• Even if you are taller than her she will bring your head down and press a kiss to your forehead.., she loves doing it because the look on your face after is adorable

• She secretly knows how to dance but no one else knows this

• When you find out you plead and beg for her to teach you how to dance (cause you suck) and that leads to adorableness at two in the morning

• Nobody wouldve guessed you guys were dating because you didn’t look like Percy or Jason, the “hero type” seemingly her type, but Reyna fell for you because you saw something in her no one else had ever seen

• You became her friend before her lover and that’s what she needed, and her crush grew and grew, and the time she spent thinking and worrying about you skyrocketed through the roof after a few months

• You protecting her during battles and she’ll snap that she doesn’t need anyone to protect her

• She just doesn’t want to see you hurt

• After battles or a monster fight she’ll find a way to get you alone and just hug you for a while

• You never question why she does this, you don’t really need to

• Your presence calms her down
