🌹 This hot headed boy was pretty surprised to find that the supposed magicless student from the orientation ceremony was not in fact magicless; seeing as you brought down a literal meteor and crushed the poor unsuspecting, feline resembling, monster. A meteor which appeared out of thin air and left no traces of damage behind after its impact. To say poor Riddle was confused and also fairly alarmed was an understatement.

🌹 Your mannerisms were very strange to him. You're very well spoken and composed; yet you're seemingly wise beyond your years. Why are you speaking as if you're in your 80s? Riddle won't lie though; for an old man you're quite good looking. If he didn't have a reputation to uphold and examples to set, he could stare at you all day long.

🌹 A dragon? Well… that explains a lot. No wonder the Dark Mirror couldn't detect magic in you; or at least, that's what he reasons with himself. Please; he needs an explanation, he's so confused. Upon seeing your dragon form though… Riddle is once again confused. Are dragons supposed to be that long? Not that he's complaining though; the way you make a massive bed out of yourself is hard to contest.

🦁 Right off the bat Leona could smell it and immediately he knew; that ain't a damn human. However, he couldn't seem to pinpoint just what you were exactly. You smelled similar to his one sided rival, Malleus, but it was different somehow. In the end, he just chalked it up to you being a fae of some kind. He did find it bizarre that the Dark Mirror claimed you to be magicless and directly after that you used magic. Whatever, he just wants a nap.

🦁 Why the hell are you talking like that? You sound like Diasomnia's Vice Dorm Head. Seriously, who in the world says ‘quite’ anymore. But, Leona doesn't mind you going off on one of your long winded story times about your past. Your deep voice is very smooth and soothing to his ears and has lulled him to sleep successfully every time.

🦁 HA! He knew it; his nose is never wrong after all. Well… maybe Leona was off by a little; but you're certainly not a human. A dragon though? No wonder you smelled similar to his nemesis; except your scent is more earthy than the dragon fae's. Your dragon form makes a very comfortable body pillow to cling onto. Yes, he is indeed speaking from experience. What was said experience, you ask? You were taking a nap in your dorm room while in your dragon form and woke up with a wild lion beastman clinging onto you.

🦁 Treasure, huh? Okay, be prepared for him to call you nicknames of his own. Noodle is one that Leona uses the most; a way to endearingly tease you about the foreign look of your dragon form. Another one he likes to use is old man/gramps; a tease on the strange way you speak.

🦁 Oh dear Seven; please not another Cheka, he doesn't think he can deal with another gremlin in this lifetime. Thankfully for Leona though, the avian adeptus is far older than his hyperactive nephew and awfully cold too. The lion beastman is pretty sure that Xiao doesn't like him, but you've continually assured him that your son actually really enjoys his presence.

🐙 His immediate impression of you was actually very positive! You seemed incredibly knowledgeable and well spoken. But what really caught Azul's attention was your apparently unrecognizable magic. The Dark Mirror proclaimed you magicless and yet shortly after the proclamation you displayed an exceptional control over stone and earth when you suddenly summoned a large stone pillar to attack your rampaging familiar. Color him intrigued.

🐙 My, what a strange way of speaking you have; are you perhaps anything like Diasomnia's Vice Dorm Head where you're far older than you appear? Azul actually doesn't find your mannerisms all that strange to be honest, he thinks it just gives a certain charm to you.

🐙 Oh, so you're a dragon are you? Would you perhaps be interested in signing a contract with him? It's for your benefit, he swears. No? Damn. Your dragon form reminds him a bit of various aquatic animals that populate the Coral Sea. Don't mind him calling you any names of fish you've never heard of, okay. Sometimes, if he's tired enough, Azul will allow you to cuddle with him in your dragon form. It's quite comfortable, so he doesn't mind too much.

🐙 Azul doesn't mind giving nicknames to people, but he's not too used to receiving from anyone other than Floyd and sometimes Jade. So when you refer to him as your treasure, he's caught off guard and pretty flustered. He'll never not be red in the face when you call him by that pet name, but he has a few of his own for you. Oarfish is one that he uses often, mostly in a teasing sense. Another is Ropefish, this one is used sparingly, he never told you why though.

🐙 Xiao… does not like him. The adeptus made it very clear upon their first meeting when he held the blade of his polearm to the poor cecaelia's throat and fixed him with the sharpest glare Azul had ever seen. It would seem that you told him about the whole contract debacle that went down before his overblot and your son wasn't going to forgive him any time soon.

🪲 Why do you talk like you're old? You look way too young to talk like that; maybe around Professor Crewel's age but that in itself is a stretch. Expect a lot of questions from Kalim; like a lot. How old are you really? Are you a fae? Were you raised by your grandparents? What do you mean you don't know what omg means? How did you get your hair so shiny? Why do you wear clothes like that? Where are you from? Do you have a job? What do you do for work? Why are you looking at him like that? Huh… who's Hu Tao?

🪲 A Dragon!? That's so cool! Our precious boy was completely blindsided by the revelation that you were, in fact, not a human. When you reveal your dragon form to him Kalim is ecstatic, attempting to wrap his arms around your now massive form. Most times you'll be lounging on his massive bed while in your dragon form as he lays in the middle of your coiled body; running his fingers through the fur on your neck and pressing kisses to your snout.

🪲 While he certainly doesn't mind receiving nicknames and pet names, actually he loves it, it makes him happy, but Kalim isn't one to give nicknames himself, he prefers to use their birth names because it feels more intimate. However, he's not against it when you call him your treasure, he's very happy, it makes him feel all warm and bubbly inside. He might call you Cobra from time to time but it definitely won't be too often.

🪲 You have a kid? Can he meet them!? Please, please, please! Yes? Yay! Your poor emo son was immediately glomped by the eldest prince of the scorching sands as soon as he entered the room. Kalim was so excited that he didn't even let the adeptus speak before he vomited questions at him. Xiao actually didn't mind him at all, the golden retriever-like boy reminded him of a certain one he once met in the Casm in Liyue.

He's never seen a real dragon before but something about that form of yours seems a bit… off should he say? You actually resemble more of a snake in his opinion. He won't cuddle with you in your dragon form, unfortunately. His clothes are far too expensive to be covered in dragon fur; but he will give you a few pets from a good distance away. Take what you can get, man.

👑 I need you to know that Vil is the fairest of them all, he's heard it all by now. Well… he thought he did. It wasn't really the pet name but the sincerity in that loving tone you used when you called him your treasure. Oh, how it made him swoon! You rascal, flattery will get you everywhere with him.

One time, you left the two of them alone for ten minutes and came back to a trashed room, a grinning Vil and a beautified yaksha that was trembling in embarrassment and rage. You have gotten many letters from students who have this attraction for you, most are signed anonymous, others with initials, some with a full name. But more recently, you began recieving unsigned letters, not even signed anonymous or by initials or anything, there's simply no signature, not even a "Secret Admirer" sign off.

Supposedly, by the handwriting, the person sending these unsigned, and very unhinged letters is the same person. These letters usually go something like:

"Dearest/Dear Y/N,

I love seeing your smile everyday, being around you makes my heart skip beats, I want to be closer to you than ever before, but I don't know how I could tell you all this in person like I wish I could. You are so beautiful... so Handsome... your eyes are so pretty... your hair looks so soft. I hope you know I love you more than anyone else."

The writer is very descriptive in all their letters; describing all your features they find beautiful, thanking you for things you have done for them, complimenting you and much more. It may come off as creepy to others, but this entirely anonymous sender has piqued your interest, despite their... creepily accurate depictions of you and the occasional photos they said they took of you, or gifts they added in with the letter. Wait... how did they even get in your locker?

This sender remained completely anonymous, until one day, a student had come up to you with what seemed like one of the letters from the anonymous sender, you suspected this student was them, at first.

"Hello Ramshackle Prefect!" The student greeted you, the student seemed to be from Heartslabyul, considering their uniform color.

"Hello. Got something for me?" you asked, eyeing the letter in the students hand.

"Yes! Dorm Leader Rosehearts asked me to give this to you." Dorm Leader Rosehearts? Riddle? has he really been the one writing these letters and giving you these gifts?

"Riddle? Well, thank you for bringing it to me." you thank the student, he bowed respectfully before taking off.

You felt a pair of eyes on you as you stared at the letter, the gaze you felt was just screaming at you to open it, so you did.

"Dearest Y/N,

I believe I am ready for this.

If you have time, Prefect, please come to Heartslabyul, and meet me somewhere in the rose maze. I wish to talk to you about something."

Falling in love (Riddle edition)

At last, my first fanfic! I'm planning to do this for everyone, and Riddle is the first one. In this series, I'll write a one shot in which the character meets, falls in love and confesses to the reader!

Pairing: Riddle Rosehearts x male!reader (he/him)

Warnings: None!

Riddle's love for rules developed in a love for control long time ago. That's why the punishments for breaking them are so harsh, he just has to make sure that everything is under his grip of dominion. He needs it, he craves it and he succeeds.

That is until he met (y/n), a non-magical boy his age from another world. Ever since his eyes met Riddle's on the ceremony, the red haired's mind went completely numb. He doesn't understand why, that voice makes his heart shiver, that gentleness turns his face hot, and that overall presence makes him feel things, those which he cannot control.

He is confused, he can't do anything about what he is feeling, but it doesn't bother him at all. To the contrary, those thoughts of hugging (y/n), having his company... Kissing him? He craves that know. These new feelings are so strange, he haven't had any talks about them, the only talks he had with his mother were about girlfriends, not boyfriends, so he thought that what he was feeling was completely platonic until Trey stepped in.

Trey saw his dorm leader talk to (y/n) when he was looking for Riddle. When he noticed the gaze they were giving to each other, one full of the glitter of romance, he had to ask the control obsessed boy.

The vice-leader filled Riddle's cup with tea as he is thinking how to ask him about the matter.

-The new boy, (y/n) (l/n). -Trey finally said as Riddle sips from the cup.

-What about him.

-You seem really infactuated with him.

Riddle almost chokes on his tea when he hears that.

-What do you mean with 'infactuated'?!

Fearing a off with his head, Trey swallowed a bit of his saliva and, keeping his cool, proceeded to keep talking.

-Riddle, you need to talk about what you feel.

Then, what he said was really eye opening to the red haired. He is feeling love for a man, and now his face is burning in a red, hot sensation of embarrasment and realisation. What can he do know? He is completely lost, without a clue of what he can do with this new information.

That was one of the reasons he overblotted that day. All of the wrongdoings of his mother combined with being lost, he just needed Ace to slap on his face to make him explode. In that state, he saw his beloved tearing up with fear as he tried to reason with a berserk version of him, that broke him internally. That with that past strawberry tart incident, he just had to cry everything out.

As he is crying on the floor, a warm embrace accompanied with fingers sliding gently in his hair makes him open his eyes widely. It is (y/n), he is hugging Riddle on the floor, kneeling as he murmurs sweet words to him.

-Don't worry, Riddle, I'm here for you. -(y/n) says to his ear.

Now, the leader knows what to do, he has to confess his feelings.

On one evening, Riddle has to make sure his plan thought with every single detail in mind works out. The first step of this plan was a success: he has (y/n) studying with him in a private yet beautiful part of the Heartslabyul gardens. Now, the second step is ready to start.

-(y/n) -Riddle calls him, recieveing a soft 'mhm?' with a smile in return. 'Great seven, how I love that smile.' He thinks as he tries to keep his cool. -I really like control, I saw it as clear as water when I overblotted.

-Yeah, you really do. But don't worry, you're working on it, right?

-Sure, but did you know I had something I cannot control even before I noticed? -(y/n) looked at him with curiosity as he started trembling and sweating from nervousness.

-Riddle, are you alright?

-(y/n), I-I really... -he sights heavily- Can I... kiss you?

(y/n)'s face matched Riddle's redness as he let the information sink in, this is a dream come true for him, after all. When he agrees, both of the boy's lips click together as (y/n)'s fingers caressed Riddle's hair the same way he did when the leader overblotted. Riddle's embraces his beloved's neck.

-I really like you... -At last, said Riddle when his lips separated from (y/n)'s.

-I like you too. -He corresponded with a smile.

It took Vil all of two seconds before he squealed and jumped onto you. He was placing butterfly kisses on your face at mach speed and nuzzling into your cheek. Oh, this was perfect!

A/N: I've noticed that some people aren't very obvious when asking someone out or generally establishing their feelings. I actually realized that one of my ex-friends stopped being friends with me because I wasn't picking up on their signals, what's up with people lmao

One afternoon after you had finished all of your classes, your closest "friend" approached you looking rather nervous and asked you to accompany them later. Seeing this as just a request to hang out was friends, you accepted. When he suddenly thanks you for going on a date with him halfway through your activity your caught off guard.

"Wait, this is a date!?"

Riddle Rosehearts

Oh boy, be prepared to start apologizing because the once surprised look on his face at your sudden outburst melted to one of pure sadness. He was absolutely dejected

He took this as you rejecting him halfway through the date he put so much effort into

He even baked all the pastries for your little tea party date :(

He cleared his throat and straightened his posture. He put on a serious face despite clearly being on the verge of tears, and apologized for... making you uncomfortable? Wasting your time?

Well that wasn't what you wanted

In another quick outburst you cut him off and say that you didn't actually mean it in a negative way

You started doing the usual over-explaining hoping that he wouldn't get the wrong idea (more than he already had) and apologizing for not getting his signals

The relief he felt in that moment was something he doesn't think he can compare to anything else in his life

He actually started crying for the fact that "oh thank the sevens they're not rejecting me"

After he calmed down the two of you went back to your tea party date, although both of you aware aware that it was a date this time

bonus: Trey and Cater screaming internally after watching all of that from afar (They'd be there for Riddle's first date as emotional support you can't convince me otherwise)

It took him so much to build up the courage Ortho blackmailing him to come over and play video games just for you to not know he was asking you on a date???

He played Stardew Valley with you what could be more romantic than that???

He kinda just sits there and stares at you

Literally the only response he gives you is just a "Uhh..yeah. Duh." (he's trying to not give away how disappointed he is)

And in you just respond with an "Oh."

After sitting there for a few seconds rocking back and forth to make yourself a little more comfortable, you take a deep breath and lean your head on his shoulder

"Well I like this date."

He tries to hide his flustered face after that, but you can see the tips of his hair turn a soft pink in contrast to the usual blue

He really is bad at hiding his emotions

for the rest of the night the two of you keep playing video games together, and you eventually fall asleep on him, which he freaks out about but tries not to wake you up

Really just two autistics trying to figure out how to date and flirt

He thought the two of you were a couple long before the two of you went on your "first date"

You know that thing on tiktok that's like "check with your autistic s/o that they know your dating because it turns out I've been dating someone for months and had no clue" Yeah that's the two of you

In his eyes it was established that the two of you had been dating. He probably confessed in his old poetic fae way of talking.

So he was just like "You are the sunrise to my day, the cool breeze on a summers day, the blood in my veins." and you were just like "Yep me and my good ol' pal Malleus. besties :)"

What do you mean friends don't give each other little trinkets they find pretty? What to you mean that's fae courting?

What do you mean friends aren't that affectionate? What do you mean friends don't hold hands, hug, and tell each other how much they appreciate them?

Honestly when you burst out with the question, he just laughs after a minute while you sit there flustered and confused

he has to sit you down and explain to you that you've both been dating for at least three months by this point. Lilia was even starting to ask him if he was going to ask you to marry him (he's impatient)

He does make sure that you're okay with this relationship and that you actually want to date him

After this you're relationship grows even stronger rather than growing weaker, he thinks it's endearing

He'll make sure to be more forward and literal with you from now on
