Simon and Micke: S1 - E1
Discomfort is the first word that comes to my mind when thinking about this scene. it's our first time getting to see simon's dad and give him a face, but it takes so little to read the room and understand where ayub's previous words of concern come from.
The difference of approach is the most noticebale thing: simon's caution and distance - physical by sitting on the opposite side of the couch and emotional by directly asking him the favor he's there for - versus the excitement of micke in cleaning up the messy table, bringing him coffee and starting a random dad-son conversation, just like any father would welcome his child home after a 'long time no see' period.
The point is, no matter how much micke's good intentions are in caring enough to create a cozy space and show interest in simon's life, the tension is much stronger than whatever attempt to overcome it. he really tries to make it right, but it all seems so out of place anyway.
Simon feels that too, right when he steps into his father's apartment: he acts politely while every. little. thing in his body language speaks for the discomfort he's in, from his eyes costantly wandering around the room to keeping the hands busy to relieve his anxious state.
side note: simon's flustered reaction at the "a cute guy then" is the one and only sign of relief throughout the scene, he's able to let his guard down for an instant and it's, in fact, the most adorable shot of him.
There's also the stiff posture in reciprocating micke's hugs to prove simon's conflict of acting son-like but not really feeling ready or in the position to do so. he's well aware of the way his father's presence and physical contact affect him, yet still allows him to step closer.
It's simon and his attitude, manifested more than once, of worrying about people he loves, hoping for them to change, putting aside his emotions to be there for them and showing he cares. breaking boundaries to let be hugged by micke and hug back, even if it's clearly not something he's comfortable with, shows a very vulnerable side of him, the first one we audience get to know of simon's character actually.

so. episode 1.
wtf is their mother? some sort of android?? and there's a literal ape butler? i think klaus is my favorite, and diego is my least favorite. vanya and five's relationship is currently my favorite of them. are allison and luther really Like That? did diego kill reggie? and v has to have some sort of power, you can't tell me she was born on That Day like That and she's just a person. no, i refuse to believe. i think it's really fun y that there were 43 of them and he could only get 7. and poor ben got straddle with Eldritch Horror powers and then died and klaus was talking to him aboht breakfast foods. i think i will love this place.

Hopes to make a movie deal
I've also seen this pose an awful lot too– which makes sense. It's nice and full bodied, and shows off the whole design. And has a bit of character to it– albeit is still kind of generic imo.
Sidenote– but I'm mixed on if a Freakazoid movie would… work or not– I guess as a parody movie, maybe in the same fashion as Airplane! ? In the sense of there being rapid fire jokes, likely on the superhero genre, if you were trying to go for the og feel of the show. Alternatively, if you're looking to do a wholesale reboot for a new audience, then a movie that has a simple enough plot could also work, before possibly going into a show– you know, being optimistic here, given that even a movie of Freakazoid would probably be a miracle.
But we can keep hoping!!

“Hypothetically, what sort of boy do you want to go out with?”
“One who doesn’t mind people seeing us talk to each other would be nice.
Someone I can have a laugh with.
And who’s nice, and kind.
And likes being with me.
I’d probably just settle for someone tall.”

S1 E1: The beginning
In the beginning, there was a proper lady who had ambitions to be the head of a mega-corporation. Her name was Lily Cavanaugh, and this is her legacy.
The founder's legacy resides at 684 Vista Boulevard, Starlight Shores. A large lot but only a small budget. She starts a career in business and tries to get out to meet the locals.
Small and humble beginnings for Lily Cavanaugh. On her phone talking deals.
She went on a date with a local man Bryce Savage. He was interesting and super cute. But they lacked the spark. Lilly checked herself out as she got ready for work the next day. Her ambitious ways are exactly what we need to fund the start off this mansion development.
Luckily she meets someone interesting at work who is much younger than her.
She invited George Durelli out after work to the local festival. They hit it off straight away.
Things were rushing so quickly. He soon became her boyfriend, but Lilly tried her luck in proposing.
He politely rejected it. In fact, they handled the situation quite well.
Lilly is proper so waiting for marriage is a must. She goes out with George many times for many different events, making out and cuddling.
Usually, stuck on her phone, blogging everything.
Lilly gets closer to her friends, neighbours and her love interest by throwing a party in her adorable home.
She proceeded to spend all her spare time with George.
Dates at the park where he won the eating contest.
Going to parties with George where she had plenty of friends and romance to blog about.
Their romance is getting stronger and George is a good, very smart, friendly person. Will Lily have the nerve to propose again?
