#sanders sides among us funny
Note
to the annoying people that called me homophobic and said i hate sunshines and rainbows for my last ask when i said calling straight ships yaoi/yuri is annoying
first of all, i'm queer, very much so, and not homophobic or transphobic at all. i promise you, i've worked on my internalized stuff. you don't know me.
i mostly sent the ask because i know the people doing that stuff kind of claim it's canon which ties into another ask i sent in that said to... just stop doing that. and just give into the fun of having hcs for the fuck of it and not thinking they will be canon. because to be totally honest with you, thinking two characters that barely had five minutes of screentime combined would ever be canon is... sad to say the least. and you can't call me homophobic for not thinking nichaxel would be canon.
and this isn't ship hate it's more like fandom hate i. this fandom is just exhausting. i think it's because of the influx of new fans. but it's been CRAZY oh my god. everyone is so immature and acts like it's their first fandom. even joining, like, the sanders sides fandom where they put tws on the characters would be better (which is still so fucking funny to me like "tw // c!logan, c!roman" first of all get your dsmp stan ass outta here..)
BUT i will say that the person that used that ask as a copypasta is funny as fuck. i laughed at the 'alpha male and a mysoginist kissing gay style'. i never thought i would read that sentence with my own two eyes but the TDI fandom opens up new possibilities for me every day.
so, to be perfectly clear: i am a multishipper. i have a lot of hcs that are waaay off from canon. i enjoy damien x ripper, ripper x chase, chase x zee, ripper x axel, axel x nichelle, bowie x raj, and now raj x bowie x wayne is growing on me. among other ships. i also love transfem harold, transmasc cody, non-binary zee, hell i've thought of my own crazy shit like transmasc emma (rr), transmasc heather, transfem justin etc. my problem with the ships and headcanons is when they are claimed to be canon, and annoyingly so, and when people get mad that they're not. which is insane. you can't expect every single ship or hc to be canon. you should've seen it coming that axel and nichelle wouldn't be together ever. you are 100% allowed to be upset that axel was put together with a man because it breaks your hc; it's happened to me dozens of times! but you can't call homophobia, especially when she hasn't shown attraction in girls, and neither has nichelle. and it's so okay to hc ripper as a transfem lesbian. i hc harold as that, and it's harmless! but you have to remember that in canon, they're not. and you can't claim they are. jokingly, sure; but you can't come on here and state in full seriousness that axel is still a lesbian because ripper is one too... and say it's canon. it's just not how it works.
TL;DR - i don't have a problem with "this straight ship is yaoi/yuri" or trans hcs, as i do this stuff myself, i only have a problem with it when it is repeated hundreds of times and claimed to be canon, which it's not.

Orange Side Headcanon: His Name
Alright, so some time ago I proposed that Orange's name could end in -el or -il due to him being a Primal Side like Virgil. Now I got thinking what exactly that name could be, and I think I've got some ideas:
Mitchell: Comes from biblical name Michael, the name of the warrior archangel, fitting for a Side speculated to be Thomas's most acrimonious part of himself. Was influenced by Middle English michel, which means 'big, large'; it could refer to how much Orange has been hyped. Also, the idea of a force of nature such as Wrath being called "Mitchell" is very funny to me. A double whammy in relation to Logan's name, both being odd ones out among names of Roman origin (Logan is Gaelic, Mitchell is English derived from a Hebrew name).
Gabriel: A less common name of biblical origin that means 'God is my strong man', also fitting for Wrath. The name of the messenger archangel, who delivers life-changing news; his appearance will herald Thomas's realization that he's definitely not ok. The tonic syllable of his name is pronounced 'gay', which could lead to many jokes.
Samael: Rare like Janus, Virgil and Remus. The name of a fallen angel, sometimes used as Satan's original name. Means 'venom of God', which would be fitting if it turns out Orange is a parasite who slowly erodes self-control. Refers to a mythical being like Janus and Remus, though not from Roman mythology but from Judeo-Christian mythology. The culmination of Thomas's Catholic guilt. Starts with an S, so it lends itself to alliteration. Can be rendered as Samiel and confused with Samuel.
Nigel: A Latinized version of an Irish name, Neil, which means 'fury'; incredibly fitting if he's Wrath. Ends in the same sound as Virgil, connecting them both even more intimately; after all, fear and anger are produced by the same section of the brain, it would make sense that they could be two sides (lol) of the same coin. Of Celtic origin, much like Logan; it's still, however, a Latin name, much like everyone else's except Logan. Sounds like the name of an old butler, so it would be really ironic if it belonged to the most apeshit side.
Tagging @the-orange-sanders-side 'cause you might appreciate it.

out of the total 5, wip number 4
👀🎬💡🪞
If I number them 1 - 5 with 1 being most recent, number 4 is the next post-able chapter of Visibility, so,,,,
🎬 - What is the source material and what is appealing about it?
Sanders Sides! I think Sanders Sides is always going to be special to me because this fandom is where I really discovered/developed my love of writing. My first fanfic and most of the early ones were ways for me to process whatever was going on at the time. I remember Accident, especially, because I was so worked up for so long after my car crash, and my therapist suggested I try writing about it, but putting *myself* back in the situation mentally was so much worse. So I used Patton as a stand-in, so I could process it more as an observer. And from there, I started making my own stories and now entirely my own worlds, just featuring the characters I love 😍
Plus, Sanders Sides is just so open. The set-up is flexible in a way I didn't really have with Good Omens? I don't know how to describe the difference. I can see a lot of different aus working in TS, where as I tended to avoid aus in GO because they never felt *right*
💡 - What inspired you to want to write it?
I LOVE fairies, if that wasn't already obvious 😅 and as much as I love high fantasy aus (see Long Road Home) and traditional Fair Folk, I grew up on stories about the little fairies that lived in the woods. The ones that really just wanted to be left alone, like wild bee colonies, but would be polite and maybe even make friends if you were respectful/nice enough.
I spent a lot of time growing up with my grandparents, who would both read stories about the little fairies. My grandpa would take me to the nature center and we would go on fairy walks, looking for signs of little friends.
So I wanted to take those memories and apply them to my sort-of newfound passion; and since I wear glasses, for some reason, I started wondering what would happen if like,, aliens found them and had no idea what they were. Or fairies. And here we are lol.
🪞 - Can you cite any examples of the style you're going for?
Uuhhh I'm kind of going for a mix between children's book and whatever people would call my usual style, I guess 😅😅 I want it to be light-hearted and silly; Logan and his excitement and the "mystery" being at the forefront. It's technically LAMP but I'm not trying to focus on the romance. I'm trying to focus on the way they work together in general, how they support each other.
Someone said it reminded them of the Borrowers series, which is funny because I'd never even heard of the Borrowers series until I joined the Sanders Sides fandom for the first time in 2018 lol.
👀 - Can you give us a sneak peek?
As I’m readong over chapter five, I’m realizing its very short and nothing really happens, but this passage is really cute:
A scavenger group managed to come back one late evening, dragging an almost-whole glass bottle of some kind, and the lucky find was portioned out among the crafts-fairies, with a significant portion going to Logan’s work.
It was a thrilling feeling, to realize this was something more than him, more even than within the court. This was something that (hopefully) the whole colony could really benefit from. Maybe even some of their neighboring colonies, if they were open to trade. And things were finally going well.
After almost two months of research, the summer was bleeding into autumn, and they finally had enough pieces to test their first enchantment.

Just an observation or three
Content advisory (AKA trigger warnings): Deceit, snakes in general, manipulation, physical restraint, suffocation
When people play up the snake imagery with Deceit, they usually go in a viper-y sort of direction, with fangs and venom. And this is not surprising, since we humans generally think of venomous snakes as the dangerous ones.
But consider: Deceit as a constrictor snake.
Because when you fall victim to his brand of manipulation, it doesn't come as a sudden strike out of nowhere, instantly burning. It's slow. It winds around you a bit at a time, and by the time you realize you're becoming trapped, you already are trapped and it's going to take one hell of a fight to escape.
If you even can.
If you don't suffocate first.
Also consider: You can't talk if you can't breathe.

So I thought I’d try something a little different (and slightly more fun than my usual saltiness) and do my own little personal ranking of Sanders Sides episodes!
Now I actually haven’t watched anything from the series for awhile so these rankings are going to be based purely on my own memories of each episode and how much I remember enjoying them. I’ll also be splitting the rankings up so I’ll do season one today and season two later on.
Eventually I want to go back and actually rewatch everything but I’ll probably wait until the season two finale comes out (whenever the heck that will be) but until then I think this will cover it.
Also important to note is that I will not be counting Asides in this since
1. I’m salty
 2. It’s not supposed to be Sanders Sides anyway so why include it?
and 3. I’m very salty.
Alright, let the ranking begin!
Dang, can you believe season one has seventeen episodes? Starting with My True Identity on October 19th, 2016 and ending with Accepting Anxiety on July 15th, 2017.
These episodes were a lot shorter too. The longest one, Growing Up, is only about 15 minutes long (14:39 to be exact because I already have the playlist pulled up to get all these references so I might as well use the info I have) and the shortest episode was Way Too Adult that barely makes it to the four minute mark. (Okay it’s 4:18 but that’s still closer to four)
It’s really interesting to see how much the series changed just throughout season one alone, especially once it shifts from just being a silly series of one shots to a series with more fleshed out characters and beginning to scratch the surface of dealing with heavier topics.
How did it do for me personally? Well if you made it this far I assume you actually want to know my opinion so I’ll go ahead and tell you...
For real now, let the ranking begin!
*cue drum roll*
#17 I'm in a Disney Show
Yeah this one is pretty forgettable, and it really sticks out like a sore thumb among the other episodes in this series since it’s based on something that happened in real Thomas’s life and later on they try to establish that Sanders Sides isn’t about real Thomas. Not only that there wasn’t much in this episode that stuck out as funny to me. The only bit I actually remember laughing at was when the Sides were throwing around click bait titles.
So yeah, boring episode, feels out of place, moving on.
#16 Becoming a Cartoon
Like with the last one this one is just very forgettable to me. It also features someone who turned out to be a pretty shitty person so I can’t even watch it without feeling uncomfortable.
The only thing I remember laughing at was Patton holding a potato.
#15 My True Identity
Okay I know it’s harsh putting the first episode so low on the list, especially when most of my problems with it stem from it being made before there were any intentions to make it a series, but like the first two it’s also kinda boring. I mean on it’s own it does a good job of introducing people to the basic idea of the series and gives an idea of what the characters are like, but they all basically act like the same person (yes I’m aware of the irony) with just one or two minor things to set them apart.
Can’t really hate this one like the other two since, again, this was made with no intention of plot or character development, so it’s only this low because it doesn’t really stick out to me. But hey, it did its job at getting people interested in the characters so in that aspect it did its job perfectly.
#14 Taking On Anxiety
Oh the second hand embarrassment in this episode is too much to bear. Honestly any episode that has Thomas interacting with someone from real life just feels so weird to me and takes me out of the episode. However, I do actually have a bit more positive things to say about this one. The advice they give is actually helpful, and my gosh I love pre-AA Virgil.
The snark, the sass, it’s easy to see why he became a fan favorite so fast. And fortunately for me, there’s plenty of episodes for me to love him in before I start to hate him.
#13 Way Too Adult
This is gonna sound repetitive but again, forgettable. Doesn’t give me second hand embarrassment or make me feel negative in any way so that’s why it’s higher than the others. And hey, 13 is one of my favorite numbers so that’s gotta count for something right?
The best part of this episode is Patton, I really miss the earlier version of him where he actually took on more of a fatherly figure and had more of a serious side. Not that I don’t like him now and I still think he’s one of the better written in the series (more on that in another post) but it’s kinda nice to see him being portrayed in a way that doesn’t feel like he’s being dumbed down for laughs or is just sad and confused.
#12 The Mind vs The Heart
Or as I like to call it “Selfishness vs Selflessness in Five Minutes.” This episode is way too relatable which is both fun but also I don’t need the reminder that I can’t say “no” to people, but that’s a me problem not the episode’s. I like the format of using cutaways to show examples of how Logan and Patton clash in Thomas’s day to day life and honestly I wish they’d use it more since I think they only do it in this episode and in Growing Up but I could be wrong and I’m too lazy to check.
All in all this a cute little episode (and not cute for the reason you might think) and I enjoy it.
#11 Accepting Anxiety Part One
Honestly not much to say about this one? It’s funny watching Thomas’s antics while the Sides have to try and figure out what’s going on. Which is a nice change of pace from the usual “The Sides are being goofy and zany and Thomas has to try and get them on track” that I kinda notice throughout season one and that starts to change to become the norm in season two, but I’ll get to that later.
Reason this one isn’t as high as others is just because besides that one gimmick of Thomas saying and doing silly stuff is that there isn’t much beyond that, and of course that’s just because this is the first part of a two part episode so I’ll give it grace for that. Still a great set up though and is funny on its own.
#10 The Dark Side of Disney
Alright, we’ve made it to the top 10! Here’s where things start to get interesting.
Personally, I find this episode hilarious because I do this kind of stuff to “kid’s films” all the time. Never to actual kids but to adults, it’s fun to see just how dark I’ll go.
Of course this isn’t really what the episode does, it talks more about the messages in these movies as opposed to talking about how “dark” they are. Which, now that I look back I clicked on this episode thinking that it was going to be a part of the latter and had no idea it was a Sanders Sides episode. Maybe that’s how I found the series? I always forget which episode was my first...
Back to the episode, it also establishes Virgil and Roman’s little dynamic of being rivals and I love it. They have some of the best exchanges in the series and it’s fun watching them go head to head here, and even bonding a little as well. All in all, fun episode that provides some good character moments and some laughs.
#9 A New Year of Lying to Myself... In Song!
Just the song, man. It slaps.
But am I the only one miffed that Virgil technically got a villain song (about lying no less) and Janus didn’t? Not even an evil reprise? Yeah that’s some bull spit right there.
#8 Growing Up
Aw, the first name reveal episode on this list! This episode is a lot of fun, mostly because of the scenarios they come up with and the little cutaways they add in. Seriously. Just use these more instead of going to these great lengths to show us something that can be accomplished in six seconds of footage.
It also has one of my favorite moments with Logan quietly asking Patton what they’re doing wrong after Thomas tries to force himself into the “serious adult role.” I really got a soft spot for this episode and honestly talking about it makes me wanna watch it again, but I’ll hold off for now.
And I think Patton has one of the best name reveals. Like Thomas really thought his name was Pattoncake, and Patton’s reaction is priceless. I still want to know what “Pattoncake” actually is and how it’s played, but part of me also accepts that it’s probably better if we never know.
#7 Making Some Changes
Why are Thomas’s friends so good at acting as Thomas acting as his characters? Seriously half the time when I watch this episode my brain doesn’t acknowledge that the Sides are now being played by different people until halfway through.
This episode is one of the funniest in my opinion, and one I remember coming back to a lot. Do I still want an episode where the Sides pretend to be each other? Yes. Do I know it’ll probably never happen and if it did they’d find some way to just make it full of angst? Yes, yes I do.
#6 Alone on Valentine's Day
The first episode to be officially cowritten by Joan, and it’s great. It’s hilarious, and just seeing all the varying ways each Side tries to portray their idea of romance is the cherry on top. What more can I say about this episode other than I’m curious as to what Janus and Remus would have contributed to a conversation like this, maybe they’ll do another episode like this in the future with their inclusion, but who knows what the heck they’re doing at this point.
#5 Sanders Sides Q&A
Top 5 here we go!!! This is when ranking started to get difficult because I love all of these episodes so much. Especially this one. I think I’ve watched this one more than any of them and why not? It’s just pure goofball shenanigans and seriously, Thomas, why haven’t you done another one yet? Especially with Janus and Remus?! I mean I get if you’re waiting for “all the characters” but come on man! I need more of the energy this episode gives off.
#4 My Negative Thinking
This episode made me realize just how underrated Logan and Virgil’s relationship is. It’s also the second entry in the “Logan Fights Everyone” saga. I do love how this episode has actually helped me with my own negative thinking and I just freaking love Virgil’s sass in this.
Did I mention I also love Logan and Virgil’s friendship? Ah, good times when they all more or less liked each other.
#3 Losing My Motivation
The set up of this episode is just brilliant. Having it be a “mystery” for Logan to solve with Patton as his sidekick provided a lot of laughs and one of my favorite Logan moments with his little bit he does after realizing he was the “culprit” in all of this. Ugh, I really wanna watch some of these episodes now but I’m gonna hold out.
One thing is that I feel like Logan got the short end of the stick with his name reveal. Like Patton just casually calls him by his name like it’s no big deal, yet pretty much all of the other names are revealed after some kind of emotional moment and are treated as a big deal. If Patton was comfortable enough to just call Logan by his actual name and Logan himself was fine with it then why didn’t any of them introduce themselves before? There’s not really an explanation within the series itself as to why this is or why the Sides even have names in the first place, like it makes sense why Virgil or Janus would hide their names but Logan, Roman, and Patton have been there since day one so what gives?
My personal headcanon is that the three of them had a bet going on to see how long they could go without calling each other by their names in front of Thomas and Patton lost because he forgot.
#2 Am I Original?
Look, Roman is my favorite so of course he’s up here! Not only that but this episode resonates with me a lot as a creative person, and I just love watching the Sides trying all the ideas Roman comes up with.
And his name reveal is also great, probably my favorite one, and of course it’s followed by the now infamous, “You’re my hero” line. But I’m just gonna ignore what became of that and focus on the fact that Roman was actually happy at the end of this episode.
#1 Accepting Anxiety Part Two
What can I say other than this was the perfect way to end this season? Virgil has been the outsider of the group since day one, and seeing him go from this snarky antagonist to gradually being tired with the role until he decides that it would be better if he just wasn’t around at all. This episode has some funny moments too, but what sticks out to me are the more emotional ones.
Roman’s entire speech to Virgil is just *cheff’s kiss* perfection. Their relationship has finally come full circle and when Virgil smiles at him? Ah it’s so good!!! Like the music, the acting, all of it comes together so perfectly and it makes my heart happy.
Virgil’s name reveal is also great, after being teased about it over and over again we finally get the real thing and it’s executed perfectly. Although my favorite thing about this episode is probably the end card, it’s so sweet and makes me all sentimental. Why? I dunno, I’m supposed to be heartless but I somehow find my heart melting when Patton gives Virgil the card anyway. Ah, I love Virgil’s relationships with the others by the end of this season, and honestly I would have been satisfied if this had been the end of it.
Just a neat little way to wrap up this neat little series.
Of course we all know that wasn’t the case and oh boy things certainly took a turn, but that is for another post!
And that was the first part of my ranking! Like I said this list might change once I go back and watch the series again, but I’m pretty sure things won’t change much then.
I’m actually surprised at how many happy memories I have with the season, like I seriously want to just go back and watch my favorite episodes again because I’m all up in the nostalgia but again, I’ll hold off for now.
I hope y’all enjoyed this and I’d be curious to see other people’s rankings of season one. I’m glad I was able to have fun with this and just gush about the series for awhile because oh boy I know things are gonna be very different once I get to season two...

Hey Val!!! Its frisay! Its friday!! *feeling excited*
It is Friday, indeed! And since the chapter isn’t ready, yet (I think it will come out on Sunday), here is a snippet for you!
Sander had decided to leave as soon as Robbe was surrounded by his friends. Surely, the boy would have been safer among them, and they knew him well enough to know what to do in case he needed anything. Thus, Sander’s presence was no longer requested. He had carried out his task and could go back to his place. But after all, he told himself, it was better that way. He was feeling deeply sad after hearing what had happened to Robbe's mom, and he needed time alone to process the news. As he reached his room, Sander remembered that he had to talk to Noor. Though his first instinct was to postpone again, he thought he might as well face another issue that same evening, so he backed off and went to knock on the girl's door.
The conversation was honest, although, for obvious reasons he chose not to go into details, but he told her about his past with Robbe, their years apart, and the way he was feeling since he started to work for the band. Noor was very understanding and they decided to stay friends, without benefits this time. They had smoked a cigarette together and after that, Sander finally went back to his room.
He took a hot shower, hoping it would wash away all the tiredness, sadness, and desire to disappear he was feeling in his body. It seemed like that day had lasted two months. Starting with the fight the evening before, the sleepless night, the trip with Lucas and Jens, and then the insane run in the park to find Robbe. It had been an eventful 24 hours.
The worst part, though, was probably realizing that everything he had relied on for the past four years was just a big, fat, pile of bullshits, he told to be at peace with himself. He hadn't saved Robbe from a life of pain, he hadn't freed him from carrying Sander's burden. He had simply turned his back on Robbe. Sander had left him alone to face all the sufferings in his life.
Now, he didn't even know how he could explain to the other, the reason behind his gesture, without being laughed at. His illness seemed nothing compared to what Robbe had to go through completely alone.
Probably the best thing to do was to simply make amends, without hoping for forgiveness. In light of the facts, his explanation had become ridiculous, useless, but he owed it to Robbe. He wanted to finally be honest.
Sander wore a lilac hoodie and a pair of black sweatpants and went to bed with his computer on his lap, editing the photos he had taken in the previous days. It was something that helped him stay present, having to concentrate kept his mind from wandering.
It was almost midnight when he heard a knock on his room door, and for a few seconds, he was tempted not to open it, pretending to be asleep, but in the end, curiosity prevailed.
He moved the computer from his legs, leaving it on the bed, and went to the door, finding himself face to face with Robbe.
Sander felt his heart skip a beat. The boy had his hair down over his shoulders, and he was wearing a sage-colored sweatshirt and pants. His face was pale, tired, with dark circles under his doe eyes, but they were still beautiful.
"Robbe?" He exclaimed, sounding more surprised than he intended.
"Stop leaving me behind without a fucking word, okay?" He said, with a stern face, looking the other into his eyes, but then gave him a small smile.
Sander stepped aside, inviting him in, and closed the door. He didn't know why he was letting him in his room, but somehow, that night, after what had happened, he didn’t want to let Robbe go again. He needed his presence there.
"Sorry, I thought there were already too many people around."
"Yeah, but I wanted them to leave, not you."
Oh.
Robbe stood in front of him, biting his lower lip. He was so different from anything Sander had seen in the previous weeks, even different from what he'd seen in the car a few hours before, and it was confusing. Sander wondered how many Robbes were still to be discovered. But this version made him feel at ease. There was something genuine and familiar in him.
"Can I stay here with you tonight?" He asked, blinking his long lashes, pausing for a few seconds to rephrase his request, reading the surprise on Sander's face. "I'm not talking about sex. We can have a pajama party, but like, for adults."
Sander frowned, "It sounds a lot like sex." he said, smiling.
"Come on." He pushed his lower lip out, as an incentive to make the other agree.
"Let's have this pajama party for adults, then." Sander conceded, running his fingers through the boy’s hair. He couldn’t explain it, but ever since they had been forced by circumstances to stay physically close in the car, it was like that invisible barrier, that was keeping them apart, had disappeared, and now every gesture was natural.
Robbe was playing with the lilac strings of Sander's hoodie, twisting it around his fingers. "But on one condition. We can’t talk about our past. Only about present and future."
"Deal." Sander nodded, turning away and walking back to bed, to resume what he was doing. He slipped under the covers and took his laptop again, pretending not to observe every slightest movement of the other, who meanwhile looked around, carefully studying all of Sander’s belongings scattered around the room.
"What are you doing?"
"Editing."
Robbe had nonchalantly approached the bed, trying to look at the screen. "Can I?" He asked, pointing his index finger at the bed where Sander was sitting.
"Yes, come here." He replied, lifting the covers. Robbe immediately snuggled up beside him. They remained silent, while Sander kept editing, trying not to smile too much, and Robbe watched him work. That closeness was amazing. It felt right and Sander wished to stay like that forever.
"I like this one so much. You made me look so good."
"Are you fishing for compliments? Aren't you tired of people telling you how beautiful you are?"
Sander looked at him, raising an eyebrow, and Robbe rolled his eyes, without trying to hide his smile.
"Do you like your job?"
"I do, most of the time. You?"
Robbe sighed, pausing for a long time before answering. "It doesn’t make me feel as happy as it used to, but it’s the only thing I’m good at."
"First of all, I hardly believe it." Sander closed his laptop, placing it on the bedside table, and turned to face the other, giving him his full attention, exactly as he would have done once, during their endless conversations. "Secondly, Robbe, you're just 20. Your life has not even started yet. You can go to college and study whatever you like if you want. I know you probably feel so much older, but you're not."
Robbe slid onto the bed, lying on his back, staring at the ceiling. "I just wanna a happy, quiet life." He admitted. He didn't know what he would do without the band, the tour, and the concerts, but at the prospect of being happy, really happy, he could have given up his adrenaline addiction. "No strict schedule, no paparazzi, interviews, or people following me around everywhere."
Sander lay down on his side, supporting his head with one arm. "I bet you already made enough money to retire. You can do everything you want, seriously."
Robbe turned his face to look the other in his eyes. "Not everything." He whispered, shifting his gaze to Sander's lips. "I can't kiss you."
Sander smiled, drawing his face closer and closer. "Do it." He whispered when their lips were close enough to touch.
Robbe placed his hands on Sander's face and closed the distance that separated them, feeling as excited as when they had exchanged their first kiss. Both couldn’t stop smiling, and it was a very uncoordinated kiss at first, but then the feelings they felt for each other took over, reminding them that what they had wanted for so long, was happening.
It was sweet, familiar, healing. Their souls were quieter after that, and when they parted, they both had an incredulous smile on their faces.
"Now your boyfriend will get so mad."
"He's not my boyfriend, and what about Noor?"
"Noor's not my boyfriend either."
Robbe rolled his eyes for the thousandth time during that night, feeling the affection for the other grow a little more each time. "I know you probably think you're funny, but believe me, it's quite the opposite."
"Look at you, being so mean, and so proud of it!" Sander pulled the boy back, placing another kiss on his lips. "But seriously, there’s nothing between Noor and me. Besides, I’ll pretend you haven’t just admitted you asked around about me and her."
Robbe punched Sander's shoulder, snorting. "I saw you, idiot! You're not that subtle!"
"Ouch! So rude." He said while the other kissed him again to be forgiven.
They kept going like that, laughing, kissing, and talking until they collapsed tightly into each other's arms, lulled by an inner peace that both hadn't felt for a long time.

hey maybe lets not make jokes abt Anthony cheating on Jasmine bc I’m sure that 1) if tables were turned, Anthony would be getting so much fucking sympathy and 2) if this was your relationship would you really want someone making memes with HAMILTON REFERENCES to how you were cheated on????

This is gonna be a bit of a long one, reblogs aren’t working for me.
I like the idea of Wrath being the newest side, and I have had this idea for a while in my head when I first came into the fandom.  You’re points make sense too, and it’s ones I’ve thought of.
See, I’ve had an OC of mine who is Thomas’s Wrath, and I’ve put much thought into him. Just never had the courage to post about him as OCs tend to get a bed rep in any fandom. But, anywho, he in my mind isn’t a very angry person.
Reason being is Thomas himself isn’t a naturally angry person, meaning his Wrath is possibly the lowest on the pecking order in terms of the Dark Sides ‘power’ or 'influence’ over Thomas.  It’s make sense also as Patton is the 'leader’ as some people see of the Light Sides. In contrast his brother is the lowest in the Dark Sides order. And as I said, Thomas isn’t angry, he most is annoyed at best and hardly lashes out. Even after Lee and Mary Lee pulled the thing they did at the end of SvS Redux.  (I don’t know about you, but after my friends ignored me through the wedding and then showed up later to 'make up’ I’d be a bit skeptical and pissed Then again I was bullied and used alot so…)
I always have hated how people think Wrath would be always angry and always ready to fight. In my mind, I think he’d be the term 'It’s the Quiet Ones you have to watch out for.'  He’s very calm, barely speaks, and doesn’t like to show up, which is why we haven’t heard about him, even from Janus. I’d bet it’s because he hasn’t want to show up, until now… after the wedding. Thomas has some anger from it inside him, and it’s starting to show.  I’d also bet Janus wants Wrath to show himself, to get Thomas to grow a spine as you said. He’s hesitant in my mind, given how his friends, Remus, Janus, and… old friend Virgil was first treated.
People who often aren’t that angry can be afraid of their own anger. I’d best the same is true for him. He knows he’s Wrath, he knows he could hurt them, but unlike Remus, he’s scared he might.  So, with all these factors, he’s just never wanted to show up. But now Janus ahs been accepted, and Janus possibly knows he can’t keep Orange hidden forever. Not because Orange wants to come out, be, if he’s as you say tired to Self-Preservation, well.. they are a package deal like how Logic and Morality are.
I’ve also hated how people have made Wrath a 'Oc Villain’ which, it’s valid, but kind of feels over done to me. It’s like when you see so many abusive Patton fics. I don’t think Wrath is abusive to the darks, if anything he’s the one you rarely hear or see.
I based most of this on how Thomas is as a character, as he reminds me a lot of myself in the series. Too kind, too nice, not alot of anger until something REALLY sets it off.  Then when that happens, Orange is near 'unstoppable’. Logic goes out the window, Fear amps up to a 20/10, And your Intrusive Thoughts are going CRAZY with ways to kill, murder, maim the thing or person that set you off.  So far we’ve seen only Logan can keep the darks in check most of the time, and has helped Thomas accept each of them. However with Wrath, well, it’d make sense he doesn’t want that. As Wrath is the only emotion that can render him obsolete.
Though it’d honesty be funny as when Wrath first shows up, everyone talks over him, and he just sits there quietly and listens. They don’t trust him, the Light Sides, Virgil is scared out of his mind, Patton is reluctant as he knows what seeing Orange means for Thomas, and Logan is glaring daggers, and Roman.. well he’s the first to say 'villain.’ But, he just sits there and listens as they talk, he’s got nothing to prove or say. Yes, he’s here, yes he exists, and of course he’s evil no amount of words will change that thought clearly.
Besides Wrath being a yeller and always anger for this series doesn’t fit. Patton isn’t always laughing and crying. Virgil isn’t always a paranoid mess every two seconds, he ahs his moments but not always. Janus even said 'I don’t always speak in lies’ and that was true. So why would Wrath always be angry?
Sorry I’m rambling, I’ve thought long and hard about this trait as a character in Sanders Sides. (because of my fear of making OC’s thanks to FFN, so I keep my baby to myself.) But these are all things I thought about before ever making the OC. And they make sense. What do you think?
Also, before I ever heard it, I wanted Orange’s animal to be a Snow Leopard and seems alot of people in the fandom like that.

I will try to reply to all your points in order.
About Wrath not always being angry: I support this so much. As you said, the other sides aren’t 100% what they are, all the time. So why Wrath would be someone always angry? when you’re angry, you don’t always lash out. You can keep the anger inside and let it come out with sharp words or by showing how pissed you are. Or you can keep boiling and boling, until you finally snap.
What, Orange being abusive? Pfff, I don’t think there’s someone who can be abusive to people like Janus or Remus. The dark sides are all tough guys and, even if we still don’t have canon evidences, there’s a hinted sense of brotherhood or at least respect among them: the most evident proof is how Virgil had thousands of chances to reveal Janus’ name but he never did, no matter how much he dislike the guy.
(Yes my next analysis will be about the dark bois)
Then when that happens, Orange is near 'unstoppable’. Logic goes out the window, Fear amps up to a 20/10, And your Intrusive Thoughts are going CRAZY with ways to kill, murder, maim the thing or person that set you off.
About how the dark sides influence each other, well, this will also be part of the dakr bois analysis
Though it’d honesty be funny as when Wrath first shows up, everyone talks over him, and he just sits there quietly and listens. They don’t trust him, the Light Sides, Virgil is scared out of his mind, Patton is reluctant as he knows what seeing Orange means for Thomas, and Logan is glaring daggers, and Roman.. well he’s the first to say 'villain.’
But, he just sits there and listens as they talk, he’s got nothing to prove or say. Yes, he’s here, yes he exists, and of course he’s evil no amount of words will change that thought clearly.
Oh wow, this is so good. I seriously love this. Not only because it would be a very powerful scene: you are seeing this new side and everyone talk about him as if he’s the worst of the worst, the terrible one, the most dangerous one, while he’s just there, quiet, and listens. It builds up tension and expectations in the audience.
But, at the same time, this shows another important thing; that Orange has a very good self-esteem, just like the other dark sides. And that he has not problem with who he is - again, just like the other dark sides. And that if he exists, it’s because Thomas’ needs him.
The sides are fundamental aspects of Thomas’ personality. So if Thomas has a side who represents anger, it means this side is a part of him, no matter what

Sides ranked by how good with kids they are because I made a child laugh at walgreens today and it's basically the only thing that's keeping me going
6. Remus
- Oh they all love his fancy clothes and funny expressions, even if he does smell a little... odd
- Buys them plastic party kazoos and spends an hour teaching them the opening to his theme (da-da-da-da-DA) just to piss Roman off
- Unfortunately, he can't be around for too long before he starts making Remus-typical jokes. They fly over kids' heads but worry the adults, so Janus has to yoink him out of there with the cane.
5. Logan
- Fumbles with understanding these Very Emotional creatures and doesn't have much wide-appeal among young kids
- However, absolutely changes the lives of those few quite kids with niche interests they're dying to chat about. He has limitless time and patience when indulging curiosity
- Always talks to children like they're smart and capable (i.e. never uses a baby voice), which they all come to appreciate
4. Janus
- Not particularly fond of kids because they are Messy and Loud-- "Please contain your sprog, Karen"
- Unfortunately, the bolder ones are quite fond of him. "Mister, is that your real face?" "Why've you got gloves?" "Can I try the hat??"
- Does foam-sword fights with Roman for their amusement. Claims it's "undignified" but secretly enjoys the opportunity to be Dramatic
3. Patton
- 100% attuned to everyone's emotional needs
- Armed with snacks and bandaids at all times. They all want sandwiches cut "the way Patton makes it"
- Only not higher up on the list bc he's not novel to them—sorta blurs into kids' conception of reliable constancy and home (which is exactly what Patton "Dad" Sanders would want)
2. Virgil
- He'd be awkward with young children at first "oh god it's so small I'm gonna break it" but they take a shine to him. Unlike those of us who've seen him on a skateboard, these kids genuinely believe Virgil Sanders is cool
- Protective Big Brother energy is off the charts
- Kids learn that the hoodie = Warm and Soft. The line for piggy-back rides is at least 6 children long at all times
1. Roman
- Disney Prince!! Straight out of a fairytale!! Big sword, fancy sash, & pretty emblem thingies!!
- Big, funny expressions—just like a cartoon. Kids love expressive people, and Roman is nothing if not expressive
- He'd regale them with tales of his grand exploits, bc Roman's brand of creativity is quite literally made for this. "I wanna be just like you when I grow up!" Roman would melt-
