These are all real sounds, without effects and without sad music. This is how our children are every day and every night I'm so tired of seeing our children in pain like this. Honestly, I'm tired. Please stop the aggression for the sake of the children, only the children.
“100 days have passed since the conflict in Gaza began on 7 October. This compilation provides a harrowing visual account of the struggles endured by the Palestinians amid relentless bombings, tragic losses, and an escalating humanitarian crisis.
Since the war began, at least 23,210 people have been killed, with 59,167 wounded and more than 7,000 missing who are believed to be dead and buried under rubble.
These figures represent a grim reality: 4% of Gaza’s population has been affected - killed, injured, or vanished. The majority of victims are children and women, according to health officials.’ - Instagram @ middleeasteye
Those are children. Innocent. Full of wonder and beauty and potential. And you’re going to hurt them? Mercilessly? Let them die in hospitals by the thousands, suffer by the thousands, starve and freeze and bleed by the thousands? How do you sleep at night?
It’s disgusting. It’s revolting. I can’t stand to see it. I keep seeing pictures of little kids with blood on their faces and I cry and cry because to me the greatest crime you can commit is harming the innocent.
I don’t really know a lot about what’s happening in Gaza. I don’t understand the politics and the sides and everything that’s happened. But you don’t have to know much to understand that genocide is wrong. Killing children is wrong. And I’m absolutely ashamed to live in a country that cares more about profit than human lives.
I am so sorry. I am so ashamed to go about my day, meanwhile innocent children are bleeding out and losing their families. I can’t believe we still practice such primitive things like war and carnage, and I would give anything to make it stop.
When the whole world will be celebrating the new year and doing the count down, the children of Gaza will be waiting, fearfully, in the dark night, just waiting for the next air strike. The next missile to drop. The next explosion to happen. Not knowing when or how they'll die. This new year, stop yourself from celebrating. Stand in solidarity with palestine. Our children are dying. This is not a thing to be celebrated.
