I just found out that Dark Cacao Cookie shares the same VA with Malanya, the Horse God/Fairy from Breath of the Wild. And now I can’t stop picturing the image of Dark Cacao yelling at someone for letting their companion die from their actions, just- he just calls you a whelp and gives you a thorough verbal beating. It’s great to imagine.

Is it weird that I like the movies more than the games of the Mortal Kombat franchise? I do like when they crossover with the Injustice games though. I hope the Injustice series doesn't die out.

Note: This is my own personal interpretation of what her birth chart looks like and how it represents Wednesday. The only confirmed section is the year and date, excluding the month and time. It's all for fun. Let me know your thoughts 🖤
Confirmed Birth Date: Friday the 13th in Vermont. Year of birth is 2006 as Wednesday is 16 in the series.
Wednesday's DOB used: October 13th, 2006 in Vermont, USA.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her Chart ~ Rising in Scorpio, Sun in Libra, Moon in Cancer, Mercury in Scorpio, Venus in Libra, Mars in Libra.
Tumblr media
Why I chose her as a Scorpio Rising:
Even though Wednesday sees the world through black and white, her strong moral values for right and wrong are defined by her Libra 11th house stellium that prioritizes objectivity, fairness & equity.
Even though Scorpio is an intense rising sign, and Wednesday is seemingly detached. She's actually quite an intense individual in the series when she protects her friends and her bond to her childhood scorpion in the past. You can also see her passionate determination to solve the mystery behind who the hyde and the hydes master are.
She just doesn't act on her emotions or overthink her feelings as I believe her cancer moon in the 8th house would conceal and hide her emotional nature as this house rules over what we conceal and keep secret as well as our fears. So, she's presented as having an "empty" heart, which isn't true, but I will explain more about this when I debrief my thoughts on her potential moon placement.
Because Scorpio is associated with death & and the void, this rising sign lends a cold demeanor to her personality that appears monotonous, but she does show her sudden bursts in her temper. Wednesday's actions show she cares more than she lets on as she's always looking out for eugene.
Wednesday is not fully detached as she gets in her head a lot and is shown to care deeply about Enid and crush on Tyler once she finds the courage to trust them enough. However, Wednesday is always polarized between who actually has her best interests in mind, and her perspective on the world remains suspicious and wounded. So she prefers loneliness and staying in the shadows to protect herself while also investigating those she deems as harmful to get an upper hand.
There is an obvious power dynamic present between herself and others that is common amongst scorpio risings. This power dynamic is people thinking that she's either better than everyone else or too odd to fit in, which is all just a misunderstanding. She has Pluto in the 1st House with this chart, and Pluto does show where we tend to be the black sheep and blamed yet at the same time are perceived as threats or having a hidden power others want to exploit or take. This fits with Wednesday's identity being heavily misunderstood by the school and Ms. Thornhill wants to use her as a sacrifice to resurrect Joseph Crackstone.
As a result of Wednesdays misunderstood intentions and intense personality, she ends up a bit ostracized at her school because she can't trust anyone. However, once she learns eugene and enid have her back, she stays very loyal to them. I believe all Scorpio risings just need to find their people in order to understand and show love to the world as it's often something they are left without.
Her appearance reflects that of a Scorpio rising in which she embraces the dark and macabre side of scorpio and their love for older clothing that reflects the past. Wednesday looks like a put-together ghoul, imo and seeing as how Scorpio rules over death, her appearance just fits that. I also see her smudged eyeliner and bangs, a fitting Scorpio look as many with this rising sign prefer bangs to conceal their forehead and add a layer of mystery.
Her Libra Stellium in the 11th House:
Main focus on Detachment, Selfishness, Objectiveness, Vengeance, Injustice is present in Wednesday's values. She has absolutely no desire for money, fame, status, or anything that would benefit her. Instead, her sole focus Is justice for others, specifically those who are innocently killed by the hyde.
Wednesday has her Sun, Venus & Mars in the 11th house which contributes not only to her life theme of bringing justice to a community and group of people, but also her motivation in life to fight for justice seen with her Sun - Mars conjunction.
This is the hero aspect to me, and Wednesday very well is the community's hero. I think it's important to note how she is written.off as self-absorbed and narcissistic by Xavier during their conflict. People assume Wednesday only thinks about herself, and for a period in time, SHE WAS only thinking about herself and her plan to capture the killer.
Wednesday's disregard and inability to see value in emotions reflects her Sun - Venus conjunction in the 11th house because while it's in Libra, this aspect is solely focused on prioritizing her values and ego. In the 11th house, this can translate to actually disregarding her personal feelings and only seeing importance in community and social matters, especially in Libra.
This is an objective sign that works with fairness meaning she can be very vindictive with no remorse because that is what's morally right in her opinion even if she takes it too far like we saw with Tyler trapped in the chair. 11th house & Aquarian people underdeveloped are known to take things too far just because they are so goal oriented that they tend to disregard the personal feelings of others as it's seen as a barrier to progression. I think this explains why she's only focused on her investigation and views her feelings as weak. Because her feelings could also be a part of her fears, which I will explain next.
Her Cancer Moon in the 8th House
Moon in Cancer was unexpected for many, but it makes a lot of sense the more I thought about it. The moon rules over intuition and subconscious, which is domicile in Cancer, meaning her intuition comes naturally to her. Even without visions, she had strong intuition, being naturally aware and suspicious of those around her. She wasn't your typical friendly cancer moon, but then again, her family isn't typical, so we have to focus on the signs qualities more so than stereotypes when analyzing her chart.
Wednesday was very reserved and internalized her feelings without realizing it. This is very cancerian behavior as they prefer to stay in their comfort zone, which in this case is by herself surrounded by darkness and gore, which her family and specifically her mother fostered.
Another point to acknowledge is how Wednesday has quite a supportive family. They got her out of boatloads of trouble and were there for her more than most other families. In fact, they were quite a clingy family that was close-knit and coddled Wednesday, to which she revolted against.
Considering the Moon rules over our behavior, what's genetically passed down through our mother & our maternal figure, we can see Wednesday is a lot like her mom as the moons' qualities are amplified in Cancer. Wednesday has her psychic visions passed down by Goody & Morticia.
The moon also shows our mom and the 8th house rules over what will withstand throughout time, the legends of individuals, and what will reoccur through generations in our bloodline. I believe this shows clearly with Wednesday's mom Morticia Addams' famous legacy at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday is set to repeat the same history as Goody and kill Joseph Crackstone as well as making a name for herself at Nevermore Academy like Morticia that will withstand time.
Moving onto Wednesday's emotional nature, for a water sign and house moon, you may expect an overly emotional individual, but it can actually create the opposite effect. A lot of the time, those that are water dominant have a clear control over how to express and use their emotions.
This means they can often end up expressing themselves as cold or detached as they don't lose control over their emotions easily. Instead, they control their emotions based on what they can use it for to benefit themselves and others. It's usually those that lack water in their chart that are overly emotional as a fun fact. In Wednesday's case, being both water & air dominant, there's a clear conflict between prioritizing her head or heart.
However, Wednesday chooses to guard her heart as this serves her the best and instead uses her high intelligence to manipulate others for answers. The 8th house rules over our fears and what we keep secret. The moon in Cancer here means she honestly did not want anyone at Nevermore knowing about her family, Wednesday is seen trying to remove her reputation from her mom and hide her family identity.
Another big fear of Wednesdays was trusting others. She had been so used to being stabbed in the back and people hurting her loved ones that it wasn't death that scared her. She actually loved gore. It was instead love and intimacy that she was afraid of expressing and experiencing. As the 8th house deals with deep, intimate bonds, Wednesday feared deep emotional connections throughout the series and purposely put others at a distance and self-sabotaged connections. Wednesday's fear of trust ultimately almoat put her in the grave, but she learmed a big lesson through enid, xavier & eugene on how to truly bond and trust their loyalty.
I'd say Enid helped her the most in this area as her polar opposite because Enid was the light Wednesday needed to nurture her hidden feelings that were comfiest, staying in the dark and alone. Enid brought Wednesday out of hiding and shined light by embracing it. This dynamic definitely resulted in some conflict between the two but ultimately an irreplaceable bond as Enid sought to help Wednesday understand her own emotional needs and to be able to recognize and percieve others intentions which is what cancer moons in any water house are the best at when they've matured.
This placement also indicates massive family secrets and could point towards Gomez Addams' false murder accusations and her mom instead thinking she murdered Garrett Gates when really he was poisoned.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Scorpio Mercury in the 12th House:
Her blunt and sharp edge, she is known for her intelligence and quick wit plus dark humor. She's more focused on strategy, vengeance, and solving challenges that come her way, not chatting up people. Scorpio does rule death, and I hate to say it, but most Scorpio Mercury natives tend to have a dead expression almost? They just sound very sarcastic 24/7 and sometimes monotonous unknowingly as this sign rules over paradoxes.
So naturally, they communicate in a paradoxical way that can be confusing despite their sharp straightforwardness due to mars traditional rulership. Wednesday's trademark humor is definitely seen here, as well as her perception that everyone has secrets, even those we don't suspect. She receives knowledge from higher realms and isolated or foreign places she touches, which can be attributed to the 12th House.
She often finds out secrets by chance, and her goal is to investigate. Wednesday is so secretive I think her Mercury placement here makes perfect sense, especially because she's always overthinking because of her second-guessing which is common for Scorpios as they struggle with knowing who to trust with their information just like how she struggled to trust tyler and xavier.
I'd also say that because this house rules over hidden enemies and Mercury & Jupiter is placed here, we can see how her neighborhood crush and someone who's highly educated and has authority would be her hidden enemy.
Jupiter in Scorpio 12th House:
This shows an abundance of spiritual knowledge & protection from the higher realm being Goody Addams. Jupiter is also very karmic and can show where you have the most success or fortune in which would be spiritual matters, foreign places & anything having to do with magic.
It's actually the best placement she could have for Nevermore as it literally points towards success over hidden enemies. As well as expansion towards what is invisible without a physical body. This means her dreams and visions as well as others' emotions she'd have a level of influence over. This is why Wednesday is seen as such a threat to Bianca imo.
Saturn in Leo 22° 9th House:
I mean, the 22nd degree is known as the kill or be killed degree, but also the fall from grace and rise back up degree. It's also in Leo the shining star in the 9th house that rules over religious and higher educational institutions, which Nevermore would fit into as a school full of magical people learning advanced topics for their powers.
Saturn is about delays, limitations, completing past life lessons, and discipline. Nevermore showed Wednesday that she may actually have gotten herself into some trouble and overestimated herself. Saturn here presents the lesson of Wednesday expressing her heart and this being delayed. Her lesson was to learn how to trust, which almost killed her because she trusted Tyler first. But then someone with leo qualities would be more fit to actually show Wednesday loyalty and love.
I'd say Wednesday's biggest setback was her disregard for her own and others' feelings, but this changed at Nevermore. Another interesting pattern with Saturn here can show where we build ourselves up and keep respect. Wednesday saved Nevermore, so obviously, she was highly respected but also went through many obstacles at her institution with her authority figure the principle Larissa Weems.
Although Larissa wanted the best for Wednesday, she viewed Larissa as a setback and someone who got in her way. Wednesday also struggles with authority figures as a common theme because she values her independence, which can show up as a common 9th house saturn theme and the battle against those who teach you life lessons. To say the least, Wednesday would struggle to listen to others' ideas, beliefs & morals until she matured because she just views hers as better and others as too restrictive and boring. Rules are not for Wednesday lol
Saturn also opposites Neptune in the 3rd House, which means there's a theme of common knowledge being hidden from the authorities and a lot of secret messages made to deceive the school and principle. The neighborhood conflict between Jericho and Nevermore can be seen here because Jericho holds more mystery and secrets than they let on in the neighborhood history, literally being a lie as they praise Joseph Crackstone.
On the other hand, Nevermore feels trapped by Jericho and unfairly treated. Saturn being a cold planet means Nevermore feels isolated from their neighborhood Jericho that is put on a literal pedestal built off of lies.
North Node in Pisces 4th house
Wednesday's life path is to create familial bonds and become closer to her family. This also has to do with searching family history and speaking to ancestors through her psychic abilities. Because her NN is in Pisces in the 4th House, this means she's supposed to nurture and grow her psychic abilities as the 4th House is how we foster and nurture while Pisces theme are unconscious psychic sense and higher emotional comprehension. The 4th House is the root of our being.
Therefore, it is in Wednesday to master her psychic abilities and further develop her emotional understanding. However, she has a hard time understanding herself. She's simply more comfortable with her SN in the 10th house Virgo, where she has an intelligent reputation and work from evidence and facts. She prefers to solve problems rather than work on emotional comprehension.
Pisces 4th House & Houseruler in 3rd (Neptune):
I can see this with Wednesday's struggle to emotionally understand or become attached to others. She may have often felt manipulated by her own family and dissociated a lot at home. The 4th House is our upbringing and emotional roots, how our emotions were nurtured. I can definitely see how Pisces here would make her feel insecure by her family but also protective over them as they're her greatest power and healers.
But at the same time, she felt like living in their shadow with past wounds that were brought up later by her father's accused murder. A theme seen from the I.C. ruler in the 3rd House where dirty rumors about her family were spread to the entire neighborhood.

I can probably guess, but how would those individuals getting the Death Note make things worse?
Well,
Tumblr media
While she probably should have the book over Light, Emilia is far more ambitious and dangerous that he could be even without the notebook. She's sort of this embodiment of a child's imagination/rebellion in that she's this rebellious firecracker that can do basically anything and has very little respect for grown-ups and very little tolerance for injustice, but she's also egotistical and stubborn and has very little breaks and a very stunted sense of morality, among many other flaws. She's not really that bad, she's a trickster with a big heart trying to make the best of a fiercely opinionated brain and a lease in life she was never supposed to have, she grows for the better but, she did think about cutting off an angel's wings just to see what happened (she later saved the angel by beating Popeye with food poisoning). She held the world hostage with a shrinking spell to try and force the U.S President into ending war forever. Her first appearence had her win a fight by carving out a scorpion's eyeballs with a barbecue spit. Again, she's not evil, but she tends to rejects concepts like "nuance", "social filter" and "not getting to do what she wants right now". She absolutely would have a list planned for the occasion, and there would be a lot of politicians and big shot important folks in there. I'm starting to reconsider my stance on whether she should have the book or not.
The Golden Amazon actually is just straight up evil though. In the first book, she destroys most of England and attempts to rule the world by replacing humanity with synthetic beings, by the second she's leading a secret society of superwomen from the Amazon, and in the following books, while she became an "anti-hero" in the loosest sense possible, that's more so because she succeeds in taking over things and so now has to defend her matriarchy from aliens and saboteurs (I think the books might have retconned some details as they went along but she seems to be either defending Earth so she can rule it or already being it's ruler). She is the Dominatrix of the Solar System, the greatest scientist who ever lived, a cruel, ice cold murder expert superhuman who pretty much doesn't need the Death Note in any way, she really really doesn't need any kind of help in killing/torturing people. The real danger here is her learning about the existence of the shinigami and the shinigami world and deciding she doesn't like death gods in on her territory (existence itself) and deciding to do something about it.
Tumblr media
The Black Bat, I mean, Tony Quinn is kind of a piece of shit. He's a scarred and miserable District Attorney turned vigilante serial killer who brands the corpses of the criminals he kills, and unlike The Spider he's not exactly dealing with apocalyptic extreme circumstances to make this behavior less insane, he's just fighting mobsters. Passing the Death Note from the son of a cop, into the hands of a disgraced District Attorney who already decided to go out at night to murder crime with guns and has associates at hand to help him do it is just, well it's not exactly a step up from the threat Light Yagami posed.
El Sombra, look, Djego tried, he truly did. He did a lot of good. If you gave him the Death Note, he'd use it exclusively to kill Nazis and he'd mean it, because that's all he ever did, if you handed him the book during the events of El Sombra and Gods of Manhattan he could have done a lot of good with it. It's just, Pax Omega happened, and what became of him is absolutely not someone who you want to hand something like the Death Note to. He failed, and he failed where it mattered most, and his reward for failure was becoming version 2.0 of everything he hated most and nearly dooming the entire planet. Even if he could have used it to kill Hitler and every member of Untergang, there was no happy ending to the tale of El Sombra. He just failed too profoundly for that to be possible.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Whisperer, see The Black Bat's deal but times ten, or really just read that editor note above introducing him. The Whisperer is "Wildcat" James Gordon, a handsome young dandy Police Commissioner who, once elected, turned out to be a total maniac asshole (famously burned down an illegal casino as Commissioner, didn't even put on a disguise to do it) and who fights crime by transforming himself into an unrecognizably older persona so he can murder people with impunity. I feel like I don't have to elaborate much here, what's wrong with this guy is fairly brutally self-evident.
The Blue Morpho, because, well how long you've got? Even if you've never watched The Venture Bros and don't know all the horrible things he's done personally, I feel like "cartoon supervillain moonlighting as a dark violent pulp hero in order to kill all the other supervillains in town standing in his way" is fairly self-explanatory. Mr Fitzcarraldo here offed his world's Legion of Doom in one blow pretty much by accident. He's not really out to kill for killing's sake, he just wants to get one guy really badly, but he doesn't really care who he has to get rid of to do that, or even just killing people to solve minor dumb inconveniences like avoiding paying taxi fare or being annoyed by a henchman. He might have the biggest on-screen body count in a show that has Brock Samson in it and only became deadlier as The Blue Morpho, that's no small feat.
Hugo Danner, because there is not a single aspect of Hugo Danner's life that didn't suck and that he didn't find a way to make worse. Hugo Danner was every bad/evil/stupid take on Superman published years before the genuine article. Hugo Danner is the Garth Ennis Superman pisstake that Garth Ennis loved the character too much to actually do. Hugo Danner enlisted in WW1 and only realized he could have ended it single-handedly after he'd already slaughtered thousands and thousands of poor infantrymen with his bare hands and the war ended, and promptly hated himself for being such a colossal idiot. He could not conceive of solutions that didn't envolve "squeezing continents into submission" and punishing all the people too stupid and scared to love him the way he thought he deserved. He hated himself too much to even kickstart plans to create a master race. He got himself killed by cursing the skies and being struck by a lightning bolt on the final page. There's not a lot that the Death Note could have done to save his life from being a shit show, but all he ever did was perpetrate that shit show on others so, yeah, good riddance Danner you stupid bastard.

Live footage of Fire God Liu Kang rewinding time to see what went wrong when he sees Hanzo legit kill Quan Chi despite being told they needed him alive to undo the revenants.
Liu: Bruh.
Yeah I imagine that's why Hanzo got turned into a kid because Liu saw how Hanzo inadvertently caused problems with his shirt temper.
I have no idea what Liu Kang thought when he kicked Hanzo out from his Scorpion’s identity and put that cursed mantle on Kuai Liang, but I doubt his decision was based on one event. Hanzo killing Quan Chi is a culmination of many tragedies that befalls on original/alternative Scorpion through more than two decades. The man experienced his own death, losing wife, child and whole clan in a brutal way, being manipulated and turned into Wraith responsible for a great number of innocent lives ruined and taken. Generally speaking, Hanzo endured emotional and psychological abuse. What he did in MKX was selfish, as he put his revenge above the possibility to save other revenants and in result, eliminate the threat of Netherrealm but he did not do that for lulz or out of spite. Hanzo was a victim who finally had a chance to punish his abuser for all the injustice done to him and his family and this need for revenge was built for years. If I was guessing the reason behind Liu Kang’s choice, I would rather say he decided to spare Hanzo the misery that being Scorpion brought him rather than punishing abused man for causing an unwanted problem.
Of course, the choice backfired, as Hanzo is still a traumatized person in Liu Kang’s timeline and now trained for future war between Shirai Ryu and Lin Kuei that may mess up the boy even further. But it seems like timeline likes to “fix” the changes done by the new Keeper of Time, as a lot other things have already backfired when it comes to Tarkatan, Mileena, Sub-Zero, the sorcerers and General Shao.

I loved the 'Be my king' finale. All the Lin Kuei just chilling at Hanzo's new castle and the chickens! I just *chef's kiss*
I really likes how you just didn't forget about Raiden nor his relationship with Hanzo. I feel for Raiden, though I don't think Snowblind takes places in the exact same universe as the other two films but o well.
I have a MK Legends headcanon that while Scorpion was being Lord of Netherrealm it was like:
Hanzo: I miss my husband, Sareena. I miss him a lot.
*Kuai summons Hanzo*
Hanzo: ... I'll be back.
Also I got introduced to the song "Tongues & Teeth" by The Crane Wives. And it gave me major Subscorp vibes. Specially on Scorpion's side cause of his whole vengeful wraith state.
AHHHH THANK YOU!!! I'm so happy you guys liked the finale!!💙💛💙💛💙💛
I wanted to give poor Kuai some happiness, so I had to bring his friends back! (And I had so much fun with the chickens I had to bring them along too!)
I couldn't forget Raiden. His death hurt me. Deeply🥲🥲 And I loved his dynamic with Hanzo, Raiden being everyone's dad is one of my favourite things!💛💛💛
I think Snowblind is like... you know, in the first Injustice game, where the main Earth and the other Earth were practically the same except for one major event (Lois' death) that made everything for there on extremely different?
Yeah, I think the Snowblind Earth was at some point exactly like the previous two movies' Earth until some major event (Kano finding the Hourglass) changed everything!
Headcanon entirely accepted and fully embraced! I shall assist you spreading the word!
And ok, I just heard the song, and oh. OH! It does have some major SubScorp vibes!! I loved it!
The dynamic swap makes this song heavily MK Legends Kuai coded, with the whole powers growing out of his control and how he chose to isolete himself and grew bitter and hopeless after killing his clan!🥲
If I ever make a SubScorp inspired playlist, this song will be definitely in it! And also "Love like Ghosts" by Lord Huron! Highly recommend it both as a Hanzo song and as a SubScorp song!💛💙💛💙💛💙

Lucky Cat Caper
Rated: G
Leo’s wallet gets swiped by a Hidden City cat yokai while on a mission. Plus, claws, cool jackets, teen problems, and a coupon for two free tacos.
My incredibly self indulgent “Leo and Tomiko first meeting” fic! Enjoy!!!
💙💖
While the Hidden City was filled with all sorts of surprises, especially an underground farmer’s market, Leo didn’t have time to explore today, he was on a mission.
“Technically an errand.” Said Donnie over facetime.
“Anything can be called a mission if you’re feeling fancy.” Leo quipped.
“Ok you remember, right? I need dragon scales.”
“Yeah yeah trying to mix mystic and your tech stuff yadda yadda” Leo made a talking motion with his free hand. “and I—your ever so loving brother and twin—have bravely volunteered to help.”
“Right, right. Definitely not because you don’t owe me a no questions asked favor. After I lent you money for... what was it again?”
“The Jupiter Jim IX: Disappearance of Milky Way Deluxe Graphic Novel and Art Book Combo. No sir.”
“......Yeah. That one.”
“No worries, dude! I’ll get your scales no problemo. Honestly I thought you’d cash in your favor for something more, er, grim. Like hiding a body.”
“Oh please I’ve got better ways of handling that.” Donnie said in an almost bored tone.
Leo chose to ignore that last remark.
“Anywayyyy, tell Dad I’ll be home before Scorpion Treadmill. Later!” Leo hung up and stuffed his phone back in his pack.
Perusing the market, the slider made passing glances at both the wares and crowd. There was a sense of normalcy here he enjoyed, as a mutant blue wearing turtle with a large sword strapped to his shell. A "being able to walk around freely and not worry about having to put on a nerd voice or a fanny pack to fool a tourist family from Maine" sort of vibe. It was nice.
He casually leaned over a stall selling what looked to be candied apples, with bright pink caramel that smelled like a mix of honey and lemon. No harm in a snack while down here. He had to make it back to the lair alive, after all, so starving to death was out of the question.
“Well helloooo tasty trea—“
Off to his side, a bright ring of a bell. He barely had time to turn before someone collided into him. In a split second he saw a girl. Pale fur, bright blue eyes, and a pair of cat ears. She turned back towards him as she strode past and he regained his composure.
“Oops!” She called, louder than the large bell ringing on her neck. In a flash, she disappeared into the crowd.
Leo straightened up and lifted a blue masked brow.
“Market’s not that packed but okaaay” He turned back to the snacks. “Anyway, how much for...the....” he reached into his belt pack, fumbling around for his wallet.
A cold sweat rushed through him. Wallet gone. No wallet, no buying the dragon scales. No dragon scales, no Donnie letting him off the hook. No Donnie letting him off the hook, now Leo has bathroom cleaning duty this month. But, most importantly, no fun Hidden City snacks. The injustice would not stand.
“HEY!” He tried to look over the crowd for the girl, but only saw a sea of strange yokai shapes. He huffed and hopped onto an empty spot on the counter and up to the stall’s sturdy metal roof, ignoring the angry fish running the shop.
Squinting, he saw the familiar cat ears a ways away, and with an “aha!” started after her.
“Hey! Cat burglar!” Leo yelled as he jumped over stall roofs.
The girl spun around, caught a glimpse of the turtle, and dashed. She wove through the assortment of people before ducking into an alley. Leo hopped off the stalls and ran in after her.
“Nope, not happening.” He drew his odachi and sliced the air to summon a portal in her path. A bright blue circle appeared and the girl skidded to a stop. She nearly fell in, but shifted her momentum to jump to the wall and onto the other side of the portal, continuing her run.
“Oh COME ON.” Leo groaned.
Stealth was probably the better option here, he thought as he portaled himself to the top of a nearby building, looking over where the girl had run off to, and following her from the rooftops once more. As much as he wanted to have a truly fun and bombastic chase, getting back home in one piece with no bathroom chores sounded way more appealing.
Eventually, she did come to a stop, in another far off alley, and Leo finally got a good look at her that wasn’t in passing or running.
A young cat yokai appearing in her early teens, she had the patterns of a calico; splotches of pinkish coral and black running over her white fur. A collar with a large bell sat on her neck, with a simple dark teal top and oversized peach and red shorts, held snug with a red obi belt with a large bow on the back. She looked like a lucky cat figurine come to life, but instead of granting luck this one thieved turtle property.
The cat sighed and sat down on an overturned trash can, fishing inside her shorts pocket, her arm going deeper than Leo would have thought possible (but then again, as a mutant turtle son of an action star, currently in a magical underground city, what did he know about impossible), and pulling out a small pink canteen. She took a huge swig and dropped it back into the spacious pocket, letting out a satisfied sigh.
“Ok.” The slider huffed, and slid down one of the gutter pipes from the roof to the ground silently, hovering over her.
“Hey,” her ear flicked back. “This has been fun but are you gonna give me my wallet back orrrr?” Now she fully tensed up, shrieking and falling over the trash can.
“H-How did—“ Her fur fully poofed in alarm, tail practically doubling its size.
“Listen, I’m just that good.” Leo shrugged. “In any case, wallet pleeeease.”
She spat a hiss at him and sprinted away.
“Ok, no need to cuss.” He casually twirled his sword, slicing open a portal to his side. He side stepped, passing through and reappearing directly in the cat’s path, stopping her in her tracks.
She blinked twice, bright blue eyes moving quickly, as if sizing him up. Her eyes settled on the sword he lazily rested on his shoulder.
“Oh this?” He nodded his head towards his odachi, grinning. “Pretty cool, huh?”
The calico took a step back, eyes fixed on him with a calculating expression. She was a head shorter than him, tensed as if ready to run again. Alright, this situation needs to chill, the slider thought.
“Ok, ok, can we talk like people about this? Man to man, or, uh, turtle to cat?”
The portal closed behind him and he struck his sword into the ground, using it to support his weight in his usual lean.
“Sooo, let’s start with names. I’m Leonardo. Leo to many, Nardo to few, and Neon Leon if you really wanna spice it up.”
“...You’re being,” she started, expression going from surprise to a squint. “Very casual about this.”
“Yeah, well I figured a thrilling chase across the Hidden City isn’t gonna work, so good ol’ fashioned diplomacy it is. And your name?” He waved his hand towards her with a flourish, raising his brows.
She raised her own brows, and for the first time since he snuck up on her, relaxed and took a casual stance. She flicked her tail, the fur settling back to normal size.
“Tomiko.”
“Alright, Tomiko, now don’t tell me you’ve already sold my wallet in the, what, few minutes I’ve trailed you, that would be some next level stuff, even for me. In any case, I’ve got a coupon for two free tacos in there that I do NOT want touched.”
“No, no, I’ve still got it.” She started to reach into her oversized shorts pocket. “...Buuut....” She paused.
After a beat Leo spoke up. “That’s a suspiciously long amount to time to leave after a ‘but’.”
“Ok, you help me out with something, I give you your wallet back.”
“My stolen wallet. The wallet that you stole.”
”Eh, semantics.” Her tail swished back and forth. “Listen, a little I scratch your back you scratch mine.”
”Shell, but, go on.”
“If you can use that mystic sword of yours to help me get something back, I’ll return your stuff. Simple, right?”
“So you’re holding my wallet—stolen wallet, haaaate to keep bringing that up—hostage, in order to get me to help you perform more petty thievery?”
Tomiko shrugged. “I mean, when you put like that...” Leo gave her a practiced “oh really” look. “Yeah basically. Deal?”
Leo sighed and mirrored her shrug.
“Eh, there’s worse ways to waste an hour.”
————
A short while later, Leo found himself hiding in the hedges outside a grand estate.
Tomiko had been mostly silent the entire walk over, sometimes answering his questions, more often with shrugging or other nonverbal cues.
Now he sat casually, hidden in the shadows while she surveyed the solid fence and gate, trying to look for a way in.
“So why stealing? Why that life choice?” Leo asked, picking between his teeth with his free hand.
Tomiko’s tail flicked. “It’s a hobby.”
“...there are better hobbies.”
She shushed him, pointing to the large gate opening, then to a carriage coming up the road. Leo looked over and saw a strangely familiar face. A red dragon with a well pressed suit and an eyepatch. He chewed his lip as the carriage disappeared into the estate, and as the gate closed it hit him.
“Ah! That guy! Dragon boss dude!”
Tomiko turned, whiskers twitching. “You know him?”
“Oh yeah, my brother and I served him and his cronies at Hueso’s a few weeks back. Got some good unicorn tips outta that one.”
“... Who even ARE you?”
“A turtle hero of mystery~” He winked.
She chuckled, more of a snort, and quickly caught herself. Leo noted it was the first time he’d heard any sort of a laugh from her. He grinned. Face man charm worked on any sourpuss, clearly. He briefly wondered what it would take to get her to full on guffaw.
“Ok, let's do this.” He gripped his sword. “Portal in, grab, uh, whatever it is you need, and portal out babeyyy.”
The cat turned serious again. “That’s it? That’s your plan?”
Leo shrugged. “I mean, yeah, duh.”
“Do you know the layout, how many guards there might be, or where the target even is?”
“Uh, no, but—“
“What if you get ambushed? Or portal right into the boss’s closet?”
“Oh c’mon it’s basically improv, how hard can it b—“
plap
A gentle yet firm hand made contact with his cheek, stopping him mid thought. Tomiko held her arm straight, expression stern. A beat passed.
“Seriously?” Leo said out the free, un-plapped side of his mouth.
Tomiko pulled her hand back and stood up. Leo’s moved his hand to where hers had been.
“Wow, soft paw.” He muttered to himself.
“C’mon. We’ll go up to the roof.”
“Sure sure.” He said as he strapped the sword to his shell.
They moved through the hedges to the estate wall. Solid stone about a story tall and roof tiles covering the top. A fancy wall for a fancy crime boss.
“Pfffft easy.” Leo said, jogging in place in a warm up motion.
The slider broke into a run, scaling the side of the wall. He grabbed onto the edge, hoisting himself up and onto the top in a crouched position. Looking back over his shoulder, he saw Tomiko giving him a “hm, impressive” type of look.
“Need a hand?” He stage whispered down to her. Not everyone had his amazing ninja training, talent, or good looks. What a sad day to be those people.
She shook her head and crouched down, jumping halfway up the wall and using her claws to quickly climb, coming up to meet him. The cat grinned and stuck her tongue out at him before she jumped down the other side, starting across the grounds towards the estate.
Leo chuckled and followed her down.
He low whistled looking up at the house, more like a mansion, really, not bothering to look in front of him as he walked across the lawn. The slider briefly imagined life living in such luxury before bumping into something, stopping him in his tracks.
Leo frowned and looked down. Tomiko stood still, fur completely on edge, eyes wide, and tail puffed up. He followed her gaze to the other end of the lawn and his own eyes widened. A low snarling five eyed guard dog watched them, baring its fangs. Leo didn’t have time to say anything before he heard a sparkle and whoosh sound.
He looked down again and where the girl had been was a small calico cat, desperately trying to make itself seem bigger than it actually was.
Suddenly, the dog barked and charged them.
Time for acting in the moment, Leo’s specialty.
Quick as a flash, he scooped up the cat in one arm and used his other arm to grab his sword. He dashed to the mansion and leapt up, sticking the blade in a wooden column. With the bending sword acting like a slingshot, he flung himself up to the tiled roof.
Sword in one hand, and a bewildered cat in the other, Leo looked over the edge to see the still angry dog. He let out another low whistle.
“Whew, close one,” he sighed.
Another whoosh. Sudden weight in his arm. Leo turned and met face to face with a bewildered Tomiko. He kept steady, not wanting to drop her, until she scrambled out of his grasp and away from him, hands going to her face fur to smooth it out.
He blinked. “Ooooooh.” He said in realization. “Wait, where’s your cloaking broach?”
“I,” she cleared her throat, avoiding looking at him. “I don’t need one.”
She began to briskly walk across the roof, Leo stored his sword and followed.
“So, what, you’re a shapeshifter, then?”
“Mhm.”
“Cool cool cool,” He put his hands behind his head, part stretch part casual lean. “Can’t you, I dunno, turn into a dragon and sneak in yourself?”
“Not exactly. I can only really shift between this form,” She turned around to face him and gestured towards herself. In a flash, she flicked her tail and the familiar magic that surrounded yokai when they used cloaking items coated her, and left the small cat in her place. “and this one so far.”
“...so not much of a shapeshifter, huh.” Leo raised his brows.
Tomiko poofed back into her humanoid form and frowned at the turtle.
“I only got my powers last year. How many forms can you shift into?”
“Last time I checked, just the one” he gestured to himself with a smirk. “But I have to say, it’s a pretty good form.”
“Two versus one? I’m doing better than you.” She said with a deadpan expression.
Leo blinked, taken aback by the sudden sass, his grin unfazed.
Before he could continue riffing, Tomiko held out an arm and crouched down against the roof, he followed suit.
“There.” She pointed to an open hall across the garden courtyard. “There’s the target.”
The turtle followed the cat’s line of sight. A maroon dragon yokai girl, around the same age as the two rooftop teens, crossing the open hallway as she tapped away on her phone, absentmindedly scratching her scaly neck. What really caught Leo’s eye was the bright golden jacket she was wearing.
“Really?” Leo turned to Tomiko, who was staring down the dragon intensely. “More petty theft??”
“Technically? No. No it’s not. That jacket’s mine.” The cat never took her eyes off the dragon, pupils growing by the word.
“Ok, it’s good to have goals but—”
“No, literally,” Tomiko turned to Leo. “My mom gave it to me for my birthday, when I first started learning shape shifting. But she,” She gestured towards the dragon. “borrowed it from me like a month back for one thing, then she said she lost it—total lie, by the way—she posted on hidden-gram with her wearing it, and, and, I mean look at it! It’s amazing! The gold and red color scheme! The flower pattern sleeves! The perfect bomber, it’s mine, I’m getting it back.”
A beat passed, Leo paused in stunned silence.
“What?” She said, whiskers twitching.
“Pretty sure that’s the most you’ve said since we met. Nice to know you don’t have a word limit.” He grinned.
“Pffft shut up”
“Physically impossible. Ok!” He brought himself up to one knee and pointed to the sky. “This is about as close as heroism we’re gonna get here. Petty, yet understandable heroism. I’ll take it! Let’s go!”
He hopped up and started to slide down the side of the roof into the inner courtyard. The plan? Easy. Bypass whatever guards, nab the jacket, portal outta there. Easy peasy pizza with extra chee—
“GHK!!”
Leo felt a sudden pull on his face, quickly realizing his mask tails had been grabbed.
“Wait wait wait—agh!” Tomiko whispered loudly, and with a gasp, lost her balance and fell forward.
Both turtle and cat tumbled off the roof. Tomiko shifted into her smaller form midair, trying to stabilize herself with no luck. Leo hit the ground face first with a SMACK.
“OOF” He gasped as Tomiko landed on top of his shell, and he briefly thanked the great pie in the sky she was in small cat form.
They both looked up and gulped. Boss Bruce had been treating several of his employees to a lovely tea break overlooking his courtyard garden, rudely interrupted by a mutant turtle and magic cat falling right onto his veranda.
A snake grunt struck first, clearly new and eager to prove himself to the boss. Jaws snapped and Leo swiftly pressed himself up and away. Another incoming strike, Leo ducked under the grunt to shift his own weight against him, sending the snake into the courtyard. He quickly drew his sword and took a ready pose, staring down the table full of well dressed lizards.
Boss Bruce stood, cracked his neck once, and tapped his sheathed katana on the floor, the signal to strike.
Another snake yokai’s neck extended towards Leo, and he parried with the side of his sword, extra careful to not do any damage. He was a guest in this house, after all, an unwanted guest, but still.
After a few more dodges and parries he heard a hiss off to his side. He glanced to see Tomiko still had not switched out of her small cat form, and was dodging snakes left and right, looking more like a panicked puffed up stuffed animal than an actual creature.
The distraction was enough to almost let a yellow snake with exceptional hair gel game get the jump on him, but he blocked and braced with his sword. Another hiss, and he turned in time to see Tomiko leaping away from snapping jaws, landing on the snout of a henchman and jumping high. Right into Leo’s face.
“AGH!!” he yelled as claws hit first. “GET OFF GET OFF GET OFF”
No dice, she was latched on good. His vision was a blur of white fur as he staggered, odachi swinging wildly. The familiar whoosh of a portal caught his attention, right before he stepped back expecting more flooring, only to tip backwards over the courtyard.
Trying desperately to regain balance, he waved his arms furiously. Suddenly the cat braced and jumped off his face, giving the final kick that sent him tumbling over the edge and into the portal. His hands flew to his face in pain, his sword forgotten and sent flying upwards.
Unfortunately, Tomiko had only jumped upwards, not towards something, and after a “meow” that very clearly translated into “aw no”, fell into the portal herself.
The portal closed, and a moment later, the mystic odachi struck upright into the sand, leaving a truly bewildered bunch of crime lizard yokai.
The two teens landed on stone as the portal closed behind them. Leo whipped up to see the small garden they’d been dropped into. From a distance, he could hear the scuttle of the grunts fussing over his sword. To his side, the whoosh sound again as the cat shifted back into her humanoid form.
They had portaled to the other side of the estate grounds, away from the commotion. The garden itself was decent sized, stone paths, flowering bushes, and a couple trees decorated it. Everything was bathed in the soft glow of light from behind the paper screens to the side.
“Ok, ok,” He shook his hands, trying to clear his head. “It’s fine, it’s chill. You’ve faced worse before. It’s fine? It’s fine. C’mon, c’mon, think—”
“Hey.” Tomiko said softly.
“—you’ve definitely lost your sword before and survived—“
“Hey, turtle.”
“—UGH I can’t even—“
“LEO.”
Her sudden voice yanked him from his train of thought, and the slider’s brain immediately shifted onto another track.
“Of course none of this would be happening if you hadn’t stolen from me in the first place!” He was tempted to yell, but that would make their position obvious. So harsh stage whispers it was. “If it wasn’t for you, I’d be done with this and halfway home to pizza and a movie marathon by now! But nooOOOoo someone has a hobby.”
Tomiko staggered back a bit and turned away, silent, but Leo could see in her body language, clenched fists and puffed tail, his words had stung.
She sat on the ground, curling up into a ball, refusing to even look at the turtle. Leo rubbed the back of his neck.
“...Look, I’m...” he sighed and joined her on the ground. He didn’t know how to continue that sentence, or if he should continue at all. This was a petty thief that got him into trouble, he’d held grudges for worst things. Being thrown off a building type things.
There was a beat of silence.
Tomiko muttered something under her breath.
“Hm?” Leo chirped.
“Stealing.” Tomiko said more clearly. “My mom, I want to make her proud. She was so excited when I got my shifting powers and started training. But, I’m over a year in, and I’m not progressing as I should be, and, and,” She sighed. “Pickpocketing is something I’m good at and don’t have to worry about impressing anyone. The opposite, really. Sure, it’s petty, but, like, so is scrapbooking.”
“Hey you could always try knitting, don’t cats like yarn?”
Tomiko shot him a look.
“Just sayin’.” Leo shrugged.
She sighed, turning away again.
“Leo, listen, I...” Tomiko started, still not meeting his gaze. “I never thanked you, for saving me, back there.”
“Pretty sure I saved you twice. First time from dog, second time from snakes, and even I’m not sure if that one counts.” He countered.
“Well! You—” she sputtered before gathering herself and continuing. “It’s my fault you’re in this. I should’ve... I’m...”
He sighed, looking away from her, trying to work out an escape route, some sort of plan.
“Look, Tomiko, it really doesn’t matter now. We—“
When he turned back, he was met with the sight of his Jupiter Jim wallet. She held it out towards him, eyes still turned away.
He said nothing, waiting for her to speak. Gradually she got more and more uncomfortable with the silence, finally turning to meet his eyes.
“Just, just take it, ok? Find your sword and go! I can, I can shape shift and escape. The stupid jacket doesn’t even matter. I’m sorry. You’re in this because of me, and, I’m sorry. Just, go, ok?” She bowed her head, still holding the wallet up.
Leo noticed her tail swishing harder than he’d seen. His brow furrowed with the slow realization that this, both the apology and letting go of her jacket, was difficult for her.
He slowly reached for his wallet, then placed his hand on top and gently pushed it back towards her. Tomiko blinked and looked up at Leo. With a soft grin and determined eyes, the turtle spoke.
“We’re not done yet. I made a deal that I’d help you get your jacket back, and that’s what we’re gonna do.”
The cat’s blue eyes widened.
“Cause that’s what heroes do, babeyyy” He shot her a wink and a thumbs up.
Tomiko snorted, then giggled, before finally breaking into a full laugh, punctuated by more snorts. Leo’s face broke out into a huge grin, utterly delighted.
“HAHA ugh, that was, haha, so CHEESY! Do you always talk like a cartoon dweeb?”
“Hang on hang on wait-wait-wait that’s how you laugh?”
BANG!
The sliding door was flung open, a suited snake yokai standing in the threshold. Leo and Tomiko jumped to their feet.
“Boss! I found ‘em! I followed the sound of teen problems and emotional catharsis!”
Another this-is-getting-too-familiar whoosh, and a startled Tomiko was back in her small cat form.
Without thinking, Leo grabbed her by the scruff and threw her claws first into the face of the well dressed snake. He keeled over onto the his back, howling, a very straight legged Tomiko stuck to his face. Leo dashed into the hall, grabbing the cat on his way. A flesh tearing sound, more howling, that was fine.
“Hey!!” She growled, tucked in his arms. “What was that for?!”
“First hand experience on how much claws to the face sucks.”
“Not all of us have swords—TURN LEFT!”
Leo took a sharp left in the hall, nearly sliding over to keep his balance.
“Maybe not, but some of do have shape shifting powers.” He said under his breath, still keeping his pace, with Tomiko trying to wriggle free as only a cat can. “Hey-hey-hey, don’t change back yet, I have an idea.”
He ran back to the courtyard, turning the corner to see the cluster of henchmen and Boss Bruce still on the veranda. A grunt was holding his odachi by the blade, handle up in the air, presenting it to the Boss. They all turned their reptile heads towards the teens, eyes narrowing.
“Heads up!!” Yelled Leo, reared back with the cat curled in his hand, and threw her as hard as he could over the tops of the mob. “NOW!!”
Mid throw, in a burst of magic, Tomiko shifted back into her humanoid form. Passing overhead the grunt holding the sword, she reached out and grabbed the grip, yanking it from the snake. Another flip and she kicked right into Boss Bruce’s upturned face, regaining her balance enough to throw the sword back to Leo, and using the dragon’s snout as a backflip springboard.
The turtle swiftly caught his odachi with a triumphant “HYA!”, and immediately slashed the air in front of him. The snakes, still concerned with their Boss’s new paw print shaped face markings, watched as the cat gracefully fell into the sudden blue portal, which swiftly disappeared.
A split second later, another portal opened next to Leo, and Tomiko hopped out.
“Ok, that is pretty cool.” She said.
“Right??” He grinned.
A sudden chorus of hisses startled the two teens.
“Shall we?”
“Mmmm yes.”
The two broke into a run down the hallway, with Leo calling “EXCUSE-US-YOU-HAVE-A-LOVELY-HOME-BYEEEEE!” behind him.
Running through the halls, Tomiko turned a sharp corner, and Leo skidded into the wall to follow. She threw open a sliding door to reveal a tastefully decorated living room with the dragon girl sitting on one of the couches, idly scratching her neck, still wearing the coveted jacket.
“You.” Tomiko hissed, stomping over, as much as she could stomp with delicate caw paws.
The dragon girl didn’t even have time to protest before Tomiko grabbed her by the jacket and pulled it off in one swift tug. Flying off with it came several red sparkling dragon scales. Leo quickly dove in and caught as many as he could.
“Just because you’re molting doesn’t—what’re you doing?” Tomiko started before noticing Leo crouching to pick scales off the floor and sticking them in his blue belt pack.
“Uh, it’s for science?” He tried, cringing at his own excuse.
“Gross.” Said the dragon girl, now fully scratching her patchy arms.
“Yeah dude, gross.” Tomiko added.
“Wuh—buh—Not for me!! It’s for my weird nerd brother!”
“Hah!” Tomiko laughed. “A whole family of freaks! Here have some more.”
She shook out the jacket over his head, more cinnamon scales raining down, both of them laughing. The dragon girl looked on with an expression like a dead mouse had been brought to her doorstep.
The turtle and cat barely gave her a wave of goodbye before he slashed at the air near the door, blue portal glowing to life. He bowed in a dramatic “after you” to Tomiko, and she returned the bow with equal fake gravitas before hopping through. He nodded to the dragon girl and stepped into the portal, leaving her to her itch.
The blue portal opened up on a cliff overlooking the estate, both blue turtle and pink cat hopping out.
“Finally! Oh thank goodness, thank you thank you thank you.” Tomiko sang.
Leo grinned. “You’re so welcome—aaand you’re talking to the jacket, huh.” The smug wind suddenly knocked out of his sails by the cat hugging the garment.
Tomiko whipped around, slipping into the jacket with ease, a genuine wide smile on her furry face. Leo felt a soft smile creep onto his own.
“Oh! Yes! Don’t think I forgot.” She said, reaching deep into her shorts pocket, pulling out the JJ wallet with a dramatic flourish. “Back scratched, shell scratched. It wasn’t that bad, right?”
Leo took the wallet. “Finally!” He gave it a kiss before stashing it back into his pouch, rustling the scales. “Yeah, it wasn’t terrible.” He fished through his pouch a bit more before another cold sweat rushed through him.
Phone gone.
He whipped around frantically before hearing the familiar keyboard noise.
Tomiko was tapping at his phone. “You know you really shouldn’t make your passcode your own name. Are you forgetful or that self obsessed?”
She smirked before she tossed it back to him. He caught it and looked at the screen. The cat’s contact info was listed underneath “Tomi-cat” with a winky face and a couple cat emojis for good measure.
“If I need help with something how about I text you, hero?” She said.
Leo smirked, putting his phone away. “Hey, I can pull off any heist.”
“So all that big good guy talk was for nothing?”
“Eh, well, I’d say I’m more ‘hero-in-training.’ There’s still room for fun.”
Tomiko chuckled softly, and Leo was glad to hear her laugh again.
“I’ll see you around, hero.”
She took a running leap off the cliff, bouncing from another rock face onto a roof and out of sight.
“See ya ‘round” Leo smiled.
It wasn’t until he got back to the surface, jumping across rooftops heading back to the Lair that his phone buzzed.
The selfie Tomiko sent as a first text didn’t make Leo yell “AW COME ON!!” in frustration to the New York City night sky. But the coupon for two free tacos she held in her hand, along with the message “for next time!! :3c” certainly did.

I love your Sephiroth headcanons! Very believable, very funny. You mentioned that Sephiroth doesn't care for video games, but he'll sometimes play competitive ones. Does that extend to fighting games, and if so, who does he main in games like Smash, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Injustice, etc?
Thank you !!!! I'm glad you like them :) <3
In my headcanons I'd like to think Sephiroth gets more real life action in his day-to-day work life than video games could ever provide.
HOWEVER Sephiroth will not hesitate to pick up the controller and happily game for 8 hours straight if his friends (namely Genesis) challenge him to a match. And it absolutely extends to fighting games. And to answer your question....
★ Mortal Kombat -> Sub-Zero without question. Cool blade and ice powers? to combat Genesis's penchant for fire (Scorpion)?? Sign him up.
★ Tekken -> (I remember playing Tekken 6 a lot when I was a kid so that's my limited frame of reference I'm sorry) I'm going to say Lars Alexandersson for the main character energy™ Also if memory serves me correctly, that would be a fun contrast to Sephiroth's devotion to SOLDIER.
★ Injustice -> NIGHTWING. This may be an instance of Sephiroth getting sucked into the character's storyline and background. I could totally see him sympathizing with Dick losing his parents at a young age, admiring how he grows as a character and goes from being Robin to training and evolving as a fighter until he becomes Nightwing, and the subsequent responsibilities he has to uptake. Also I'm going to reach and compare Nightwing/Deadman to Sane Seph/Insane Seph.
★ Smash -> Bayonetta Himself, duh. Bayonetta. Who else? Bayonetta.
