Everything I Published in 2023

After a long hiatus, I finally got back into creative writing this year -- and what a busy year it was! I published eight pieces on the SCP Wiki, including three entries in The Eternal MxTape. Here's the rundown:

Somewhere Empty: In this black comedy, Mx. Wren Masterson hitches a ride into Utah to settle the score with two anomalous terrorists.

SCP-6476 — Let A Die Be Cast!: Codename NEMO infiltrates a TTRPG group that plays with probability-bending dice. Shenanigans ensue.

NTE-2858-Cyan-Blaecca — "Village Jeweler": The Global Occult Coalition fights for control of "Other London", a Victorian-era asteroid colony populated by anarcho-syndicalists. Charles Babbage is there, and he's a real jerk.

So we sang the chorus from Atlanta to the sea: A hard-nosed Union investigator and a merrymaking veteran haggle over a miraculously compelling one-man band. An alternate-history tale cowritten with ch00bakka for RemixCon2023!

SCP-2444 — Flea Circus: A traveling venue for extradimensional misfits and unloved merchandise. Rewrite of a Series III article by Anonymous.

SCP-7492 — No Matter Where You Live: Post-secondary students receive disembodied reminders of their stress and turmoil. This popular entry was written in the style of SCP Series I.

Nightmare on Archer Row, Part 2: Movie night becomes a fight for survival when "Mr. Slasher Villain" crashes GAW's Halloween party.

The Lambton Ghoul: An eccentric groundskeeper is pushed to his breaking point… and beyond. A "Canadian Gothic" horror story presented in wiki format. Winner of Unofficial Paracon 2023!

Sorry if this is an unusual question for your blog, but could you explain the Wanderer's Library to me? Ever since I read your fic I started trying to get into SCP more and its lore, but that library and how it functions and what it is exactly is leaving me really confused. I've seen it mentioned in a bunch of articles.

Also please explain it to me like I'm 10 years old

don't apologize, it's not a problem at all!

think of The Wanderer's Library as the SCPverse's own Library of Alexandria. it contains all knowledge. literally. from past, present future. from every possible universe. you can get into the library using these types of portals called "Ways," but you typically also must perform a "Knock" to actually enter. there are a bunch of different 'staff' inside this library. there are these entities called Docents who guard/protect the library, Pages who help/sort books, etc etc... there are also ones called Librarians, which are people who broke the rules of the library, (rules are important!), and must work/pay off their debts. oftentimes you'll be seeing The Wanderer's Library mentioned alongside Serpent's Hand, as it is that GoI's base of operations. hope this helped! of course i didn't/cannot explain everything but i can try to answer any further confusion :)

David Bright Headcanons:

Mister Cupcake's service vest would have a small pouch or backpack attached with one or two different cane tips so if David goes to a places with different terrains, he can change his cane tips.

David organises his money in his wallet by folding then differently. Or he just puts them in different pockets.

Carries trail mix in his pocket at all times. And snacks. A lot of snacks. He has a candy bar somewhere in his jeans.

He's actually pretty fit and buff. Works out a lot. Man's got muscles. He's also, like, really tall.

Prior to his blindness, like Mikell, David's aim is scarily accurate. He was very good with axe-throwing.

He's very sporty and outdoorsy, actually. Prior to that incident, he spends a lot of time doing outdoor activities like horseback riding, biking, hiking and ice hockey.

He still love sports and outdoor activities. Dude still regularly goes on a lot of walks, hikes and swims. He's been trying out rock-climbing too.

Despite his active lifestyle, within the Serpent's Hand, he's more well known for being a more behind-the-scenes guy. He's the guy you'd look for advice or opinions or even ask to represent/talk to people. (Brain not braining ATM so I can't think of the words)

This man is wayyyyy too much like Mikell in terms of charisma, people skills and charm. (Listen, Mikell did not get THAT many children without some sort people-skills you get me?)

He's in a big, closed polycule with 5 other guys. They're not all human but they all love each other and hold hands.

You can count on him to have a knife all the time.

He's actually pretty close with Sera and they're pretty friendly towards each other! He helped her a lot.

He gets a bit tense around Yoric though. Something about him makes him feel really uncomfortable and he can never figure out or see what Yoric will do next. (A Yoric headcanon that deserves its own post)

David's clairvoyance is not as powerful as Claire's because he's only Clairvoyant while Claire has Clairvoyance, Clairaudience AND Claircognizant.

He's got his hair in an undercut and his hairstyle really changes from time to time.

He actually doesn't really mind how long his hair is as as it's out of his face but one of his boyfriends uses him to practice on working with black hair and he's always happy to help them.

His boyfriends once dressed him up in a full on tuxedo with his sunglasses and he looked like a bodyguard to a celebrity. There were so many pictures taken.

Bonus: Mister Cupcake's tail gets dyed a lot. Mostly rainbow but once got the MLM flag palette, bright neon pink and toxic green

hello everyone reading this, how do you know my relative and I are victims of this harasser, and it's my request that she won't post anything related to scp076 for now until she even answers us, you are bothered by the fact that illustrators create au and illustrations quotes and comic strips about scp076? From what I understand you attack the victims for creating something outside the official wiki, but the wiki itself does not have an official ie and several stories and you do not attack them why are they on the wiki? most of the people who are on tumblr were unable to enter the wiki for not finding that code, my cousin is in the official scp group on discord and on reddit and the international wiki, and in her au it is focused on the group serpent's hand. a manga story the ocs she and I created have already been presented, we thought you would stop with that but no, are we drawing so much attention in a negative way to the character scp076? is it so wrong to create comics and fanfics of a character we like? if in fact you think it's wrong, publish a text and explain yourself on account that shows your true self. To the illustrators, continue your work, explain how it is, if you work with shipps, I suggest you go with the Sumerian legend, there is a danger of being a religious fanatic. So be careful with emails and chats. God protect you.
