she's the comic relief. she's the fan favorite. she's a main character. she's raven's best friend. she's probably the reason raven didnt go batshit crazy evil. she's the most amazing person ever and will always offer you tea. she has a mouse named earl grey. she has a magic hat. she speaks in riddlish and doesnt make sense to many people. she's incredibly brave and she loves her dad. she can break the laws of reality unless told something's impossible. she can hear and interact with their world's narrator.

and it's just in the sense that maddie is the 'funny' one. the one who goofs around and says strange things that everyone else brushes aside because 'oh that's just maddie', when she's actually one of the smartest characters that there are and the one who arguably knows most about their world and the situation they're in??

maddie casually interacts with the narrator; the person who is narrating their lives, like it's nothing?? she can walk through walls and eat rocks if not told otherwise?? she is incredibly wise and offers excellent advice??

and maddie was the closest to figuring out the fact that they aren't real. imagine raven reacting to that. imagine apple. they would never be able to handle the absolute batshit crazy amount of knowledge that maddie technically has.

maddie knows so much and it's such a brilliant thing that she's not utilizing the plot to her own benefit, because she honestly very well could, but she doesnt because maddie is not someone who is there to change the system like raven, and she is not someone like apple or briar or ashlynn, in the sense that 'oh things must change and i must be the one to do that'.

she leaves that for others such as raven to actually pursue and by god will she actively support raven like hell for it. what she will want to know, however, is what exactly is happening.

this is not to say that maddie is not important or that she's someone who takes a backseat to others. she's quite the opposite really. but i find it interesting just how maddie's influence works.

maddie is not the 'main character' per se. she is not the protagonist of this story and i dont think she'd like an integral part of the; without which it might fall apart, but she is not the one actively doing the main character things and furthering the plot. if anything really, maddie technically does keep things running behind the scenes?? and her ability to communicate with the narrator is no small thing to brush over too.

my mom is super pissed and super dissapointed BUT knows i wasnt involved and understands why i didnt act differently so i think ill be okay with her. my sister who wasn't involved (my older sister) is super pissed, but again not so much with me but mostly with my other sister because she did participate , but my older sister did scream at me for a few minutes, which made her a little less mad, and i desereved it. she also cant yell at my other sister because shes actially fucking crazy when she has to face the consequences of her actions and would likely do something irreversable because she feels like shit about what happened nd my older sister knows that, which kind of pissed her off more, but i think itll mostly be okay.

ive also decided i will not see any of those people aside from my sister outside of school, and will not speak to them or interact with them unless they initiate, and i will keep it short. im tired of being dragged into shit that i dont wanna be a part of. also that boy did take responsibility for one of the things used being his, so hopefully my sister and i will not get drug charges , but my 'friends' literally said they lied to the police. i dont know if thats true or if they just dont want everyone to think they snitcehd , but i refuse to be involved with people who think its okay to break the law and when they get caught, to do it again. theyre stupid and i cant deal with that. especially when half of them are shitheads who dont like me anyways.

ive also decided to see if i can tutor after school and also write handwritten letters to the officers superintendent and principal to attempt to get my reputation back. i know you said it doesnt matter, and its probably pointless to even worry about, but i do really care what these people think of me, and i want them to trust me and believe in me and support me. i am nothing without my reputation and intelligence at this school. all these people have known each other since diapers and have lives to fall back on. they have family farms and loyal friends and support from their community. i dont have that so i want to earn support and loyalty and this is the only way i know how.

1. ok but thats seriously what bugs me so much about LO, it never actually lets serious moments be serious, it's always lampooned by rachel's insistent need to force in her juvenile "humor" and never actually depicting how pressing things are. even the following moments from persephone's r//pe was undercut by hades making stupid puns! i understand if rachel cant write something more serious than "[x] is bad" but if thats so, then dont try it? because thats how you end up with this pretentious mess.

2. since when did lo hades have earrings??? i legit do not remember this ever being a thing??? is he trying to be hip with the kids 😭my man you still look like a crusty old man the earrings arent helping 😭

3. lo hermes looks and acts like flaky from happy tree friends and no thats not a compliment (TW for gore, blood, and violence if any of you google it)

4. Even though the earlier art style was better there are still some cursed panels from the earlier pages that still haunt me. Especially the way Persephone was drawn differently in so many of the panels.

5. lo hades has such "how do you do fellow kids" energy and im not sure why

6. im also confused on the fertility goddess stuff because how stupid is persephone if she didnt notice? she can create life and nature without even thinking and shes implied to be a genius in biology, so how would she not even notice this? if RS really wants to go with this plot, then why have her professor bring it up in class? why not show persephone going to her uni's library to research the topic and pouring over it? that's an easy way to show persephone's intelligence, yet LO doesnt even try.

7. What I wanna know in LO was how Demeter and Hestia were compensated after the war. The three brothers got to be kings and Hera is queen, but what we know of Demeter is that she had a millionaire dollar business that’s probably made it on its own (unless she was helped out) and then Hestia all we really know about her is that she runs that TOGEM and idk if there’s only 4 of them, Hestia really had a group by herself for a bit since Athena is Zeus’ (assumed) daughter, Artemis (Zeus’ assumed daughter) and persphone (newest member) which seems shitty since they won a war together

8. I think what happened with LO’s art style was RS got “lazy” (I’m lacking the right word). I feel like without the colors all of the men in LO have the same body type, and Hermès and Apollo may even have the same face if they smile the same. So to compensate for that lack of body diversity, RS doubled down on Hades’ features to make him stand out more to really show he’s the male lead. However, even in her own words he looks like Persphones’ “dusty ass dad”

The women use to be a little different but they’re all starting to blend with body types. Her was small, but now she’s short and busty like Persphone. RS makes Persphone look short and busty all the time but almost childlike. Minthe was skinny but her last moments she was busy. Aphrodite I feel was just busty but then tried to make her look small also with Ares and Hades beside her. Hestia stayed the same but is still small and busty. Athena was tall and thin (?) but now she’s tall but busty (and her relationship with Hestia looks like it mirrors HXP). Idk I just feel like the longer screen time the female characters get the more they start mirroring Persphone’s look. Like even Artemis was getting empathized on being small next to her brother Apollo. Like all the girls gotta look small but curvy as the story goes on. 

9. Demeter: watched her friend get ripped in half. Watched her friend get continually cheated on, paying the price for not hiding a mistress , watched metis get eaten, her back clawed, fought in a war. Later made a daughter who’s a fertility goddess (probably an accident) and now has to raise her. That same daughter then went on a rampage and isn’t really remorseful

Fans: Demeter is such an overbearing mother who gets in the way of our ship.

10. on regards to ace characters, asexuality is a spectrum like everything else, so a lot of asexuals actually do enjoy and have sex, so the maidens doing so isnt inherently a problem, its the fact rachel is clearly viewing it through a strict binary where she assumes asexuality is something that can be "fixed" over time/when the right person comes along. its also a bad modern reading of it, as "virginity" in an ancient sense meant via marriage, not via sex, but I doubt rachel cares to factcheck it.

12. ya know if hades has to lie to make apollo seem worse (who does not need much in this comic) its like??? why is he persephone's lawyer then?? lawyers are literally told not to lie, this is basic law 101. thats why they dont want their clients to mention to them if they actually did the crimes because then the lawyers have to say it in court. if hades lies so casually just to keep persephone away from justified punishment, then thats bad actually!  both in being a decent person and as a lawyer!

From OP: Hades didn’t lie but he was definitely out of line. RS liked a tweet saying that the wife thing was “subconscious” so it probably was. (Still doesn’t make it right but I doubt he’d say those things on the stand.)

13. I know Minthe was written in a way she was suppose to be unlikesable, she’s rude, she yells and she doesn’t hesistate. HOWEVER RS wrote her character badly. Minthe is so unliked? How was she able to be a bad gf to hades and Thanatos? Like yes it’s an affair but how was she able to pull 2 gods?! We don’t hear Hades or Thanatos say what they like about her BUT they both still had a fling with her. (Honestly I feel it’s cause RS can’t bare writing one nice thing about the female anatangoist without trying to make Persphone look good)

The other thing bothering me was everyone knew about her relationship with Hades after she put it on fatesbook, but everyone talked about the kiss in such a positive light IN FRONT OF HER. Aren’t they suppose to be scared of her? Why did the girls in the yoga class/dress shop had so much to say about that kiss? Because they knew persphone? Did they know every other detail too? What was their actual beef with Minthe?

I feel like realistically some more characters would have sympathy for Minthe if they didn’t know her that well because of Hera. Everyone knows Hera is a pill to deal with and she’s the goddess of marriage who hasn’t really tried bringing Minthe and Hades to the alter. That right there should let everyone know that Hera probably doesn’t help the situation.

Idk, I feel like RS could have gone deeper and made the character not such HXP shippers cause most people wouldn’t cheer for cheating nor an old ass guy getting with a 19 year old. (Idk how fast the news of the slap spread, but I doubt it made it to every place in their fictional world)

Were Jaxs vague words when he called you, you were spending the day shopping with Lyla, who resembled that of a cat who got the canary when she saw the blush spread across you cheeks.

Jax has been so busy with the club you only saw each other when you came and cooked for the guys at the club house and when he came home to exhausted to do anything but sleep. And lyla knew exactly what it felt like since she’s in the same boat with Opie.

so you both spent that extra time with each other, she’s the sister you never had. “Come on let’s find you something to wear for your hot date.” She giggles. Hair bouncing as she drags you through the mall.

seven sharp you were ready wearing black jeans, AC/DC T-shirt even a new red flannel tied around your hips. you played the part of 'biker chick' well. now all you needed was your knight on shiny dyna.

you still remember when you brought him home for the first time, the look on your dads face when he saw Jax said it all, he wasn’t a fan. untill he saw how Jax looked at you across the backyard at the BBQ while you were playing with your younger cousins. after he saw the practical heart eyes the 'big bad biker' was shooting at you he saw Jax for what he really was, a cuddly teddy bear, well with you anyways.

the deep rumble coming down the street brought you back to the present. like usual you waited untill he kocked five times on the door, even if all you wanted to do was run and jump in his arms as if you havent seen him for months, but no ever since he picked you up for your first date all those years ago and you accidentally made him stand there for five minutes because you were getting ready and never heard him, its beacome tradition almost. after the five raps you swing the door open reveailing Jax, a dozen red roses in his hands. that for a second made you question if youd forgotten your anniversary or something.

"hey darlin" stepping furthur into your house looking around like he doesnt live here, "Nice place you got here." going along with whatever game hes playing while you put your flowers in the vace you didnt notice was set out this morning.

"Thanks my boyfriend bought it."

"oh boyfriend huh? guess i better get you out of here before he shows." he smirks,

stepping into you when you turned around caging you to the counter while your hands hold onto his cutte. his lips brushing against your forehead when he asks if you’re ready to go.

You never got on a bike unless it was with Jax, you were kinda a control freak so riding with anyone else was a big no, but with him control was easier to give up, in multiple ways. plus he would have a fit if he saw you on a bike with any of the guys.

feeling the rumble and the cold leather of his cutte against your cheek was oddly relaxing as he rode through the streets. pulling onto a gravel drive stopping at a gate.

"are you gong to tell me where we are?" you asked as he grabbed bolt cutters from the saddle bag and cut the lock. the gate creaking as he forced it open far enough for the bike. a cheesy smile as jogs back.

"Nope"

the large no trespassing sign catching your eye as he drove farther up the drive. "you know we could get arrested for this right?" your voice raised so he could hear. you could feel him laughing as it finally hit you where he brought you.

an abandoned drive in, you didnt even know Charming had one of these back in the day. Jax pulled you to join him on the blanket he set out, setting you between his legs, arms wrapped tight around you.

"Look on the bright side, if we do get arrested we'd be spendin' alot of time together." he teases, letting out a grunt when you jabbed your elbow into his ribs, rolling your eyes.

"Hey! is that anyway to treat the man that broke the law to make you happy?"

"Breaking the law isn't a big deal for you Jax" he laughed, kissing your temple as he spoke "maybe not, but making you happy is."

as he finished his sentence your favorite movie started to play on the screen, and while there were boards missing it didnt dampen the moment. after the movie you both laid back and looked up at the stars, relishing in the rare silence here in Charming.

"I know i've been busy with the club and havent been around alot," he paused to take a beep breath. "that's not fair to you, im going to better, a better boyfriend or husband one day if you'd say yes."

before you could say anything blue and red flashing lights stole your attention"Come on!" Quickly pulling you up and back to the bike both of you laughing like teenagers running from a party that got busted. You knew the cops would let it go when they found out it was Jax that broke in but why not have some fun.

Wrapping your arms around his waist as he expertly dodged the police cars and drove down random streets to lose them. And while everyone might not leave a date tuning from the police pressed against an outlaw you know your relationship isn’t normal, but you wouldn’t trade it for the world.

headcanons for your favourite character?

Sam wilson / Falcon:

-I headcanon him to be a mutant with his mutation being him having real falcon wings and being able to communicate with birds. Imagine little Sam with tiny fluffy grey wings.

-Hes bi, hes had a crush on every single member of team cap at somepoint or another. Currently crushing on Bucky.

-Sam and Riley were dating whilst they were in the military. He still visits Rileys family on his birthday and sends cards to them.

-HOWEVER i did recently see a headcanon that Rileys family are a very Conservative southern Christian family which means they would've hated the idea of Sam dating Riley. So poor sam is grieving the loss of his boyfriend but he just has to pretend it didnt happen because Rileys family wouldnt want him telling people Riley was gay or dating a black man because riley was OBVIOUSLY straight. Which is very sad and i love the angst of it.

-I aLSO headcanon that hydra was hearing about how the military was creating a way for soliders to fly and they didn't like it so they sent The Winter Soldier to shoot them down. Bucky was the one who shot down Riley and killed him, he also hit Sam too.

-Riley died instantly whereas Sam managed to save himself. The rocket had blown one of sams wings clean off whereas the other was mangled and destroyed. They decided to surgically remove what was left of his wings to try and spare him of the most back pain they could. Plus they didnt think hed want to walk around with one broken wing. So now he just flies with a spare wing pack.

-Sam has two big scars down his back now. He works out in jumpers a lot because he doesnt want to sweat in a thin shirt and make it so people are able to see through the wet material and notice his scars.

-Sam isnt the most open book. He talks to those he trusts, but hes not just going around telling everyone about his wings. In fact, he tries to keep it a secret.

-Steve accidentally saw them during training once and just had to ask out of concern for his friend. Sam initially looked uncomfortable but ended up opening up to steve and telling him all about it.

-Steve being the great friend he is, promises not to tell anyone on the team unless sam tells them first.

-Bucky also knows, sam eventually told him.

-Sams aware that Nat probably knows - because she knows everything - but they both just pretend like its nothing

-Bucky and Steve make sure that Sam is okay when its Rileys anniversary/birthday. No bickering, no teasing, nothing. Theyre just there for him.

-Sam has bird mannerisms like doing the funny head tilt thing when hes confused. And he puffs out his chest and tries to make himself look all big when hes trying to be threatening, hed puff and spread out his wings too if he still had them.

-SAM CANT SEE GLASS, its very funny writing him just bonking into glass doors which i headcanon are a lot of the doors in Avengers tower.

-He whistles along to songs if hes not singing them

-I own birds and we keep a few of their feathers when the fall out because theyre pretty and theyre good memories. I bet Sarah and Sams parents definitely kept some of Sams feathers from when he was young, all the way up to when he was leaving to join the military. Sams old bedroom at their parents' house is just filled with feathers. Theyre just everywhere. Hes never properly cleaned the room out.

-Sam takes his nephews out for pizza whenever he goes to visit and if its during the term, he picks them up from school to give Sarah a break and to let his nephews boast about being the falcons nephews.

-If you ask him what his favourite colour is then hed say red or blue, but its secretly yellow.

-He loves watching the sunrise and likes early morning flights to go watch it.

-He loves dancing

-Not a headcanon but can we talk about how many people hes lost? His parents, his brother in law, his brother, nat, steve, riley. Give this man a break. I love him

@chaoticemobookwormpickles and @sayly (who i can’t actually tag for some reason) asked for these a little while back so, here ya go!

right so

rose doesnt have a great track record with academics

she never really felt like her classes in school were actually contributing to her education, unless they were guardian theory classes

when she had to take precalc she got so annoyed 

her exact words to dimitri were “its not like in a fight with a strigoi one of them is gonna stop and stay ‘wait! graph this function and i’ll leave!’”

he responded with “you never know” under his breath

not helpful

but by the time rose and lissa get to college, lissa is freaking out about queen stuff 

so she majors in political science so she can get a better grip on it

but now shes freaking out about school

shes pulling a C- for the first time in her life

like she figured it’d be a little challenging, but that she’d pick up on it pretty fast

she didnt

none of the material makes sense to her

she literally thinks shes gonna fail one of her law classes 

rose however, is excited about school for the first time in her life

she wasnt doing great with some of the theory at first, not bc she didnt understand it but bc she thought it was stupid

she never really got over that but once she saw how it applied to moroi politics and dealing with council, she figured it was worth it

she loves her law classes 

she doesn’t just think they’re interesting, but she realizes that by studying law, she can figure out how to work around the rules without actually breaking them

when the have a break and come home to dimitri and christian, and she tells dimitri exactly that, he gets scared

like “great, now she can get away with anything, just what we needed”

christian has the same thought.

shes excited for school for the first time 

despite dimitri’s initial fear of rose’s law breaking, he’s really proud of rose and so happy for her that she found this

when abe gets wind of this, he’s also super proud

and can’t stop thinking of all the mafia family possibilities

just one more thing for dimitri to worry about

when they graduate rose has a higher gpa than lissa

and she wont stop talking about it

anyway

rose sorta becomes lissa’s unofficial advisor

which works out perfectly

so rose spends hours and hours with lissa pouring over official document, planning for meetings, writing and editing speeches, researching ancient moroi law

between that, her guarding shifts, and the desk work/ planning she has to do as a royal guard, lissa realizes shes taking up a lot of rose’s time

so she starts to pay her for it

rose is like lissa wtf

but she just goes with it after a while

lissa consults her on almost everything

and rose is really great about advocating about dhampir issues that lissa hadn’t even thought of bc they’re not discussed and lissa doesn’t have that lived experience 

i have this one scene in my head that i can never stop thinking about

lissa, christian, dimitri, and rose are all having a little family dinner sorta thing in lissa and christian’s apt complex, royal living quarters or whatever

lissa and rose are on the couch/ coffee table area going over laws strategizing for a council meeting about guardian rights and benefits, so they’re also going over some really old laws and trying to figure out exactly what they’re saying

and they’re super caught up in it

and dimitri and christian are making dinner (and by now they’re really good friends; i wanna write about their friendship development at some point)

they’ve done this so many times that they’ve got a really good rhythm going 

one of them call out that dinner is ready

and lissa mumbles back something about “wrapping it up”

and dimitri just pauses and looks at rose

and he’s just like

wow

and christian does the same

and they’re gushing to each other about how cool their significant others are

and rose gets up from the couch and she’s all

“talkin’ about us?” knowing full well that they were

dimitri’s just like “yeah” and leans in for a kiss

and lissa comes up to join everyone

they start setting the table and sitting down to eat

and its just super cute and domestic

also

sometimes its the reverse

where dimitri and christian are working on lesson plans and proposals for moroi defense classes and mandates and such

and lissa and rose cook

except its mostly lissa cooking and rose reading ingredients and instructions and then doing paper work or something

sometimes they’re all too busy

and they sit around working on all their respective stuff together bc they just enjoy all being in the same space

so they order in

they have a drawer full of takeout menus from around court

with all their favorite orders marked

(The following review contains spoilers, and if you would like to not be spoiled, I would recommend watching the episode before reading)

(I had to pause a LOT to get through this special)

-Oh s*** Cosmo bug and Astro Noir. That is so cool.

-Okay maybe its my audio, but their voices seem a bit deeper. No big, just something I noticed.

-Okay the yellow flower was cute. Good on you kitty.

- Also, side note. This is very nice animation. Very crisp.

- Marinette is moving on... kinda. Well, she is trying. Its not easy getting over someone you have a thing for. I guess that means Miracle Queen did happen and I will need to suck it up. But.... I am not moving on yet either.

- The puppet show was perfection. And honestly on par with what you would expect from middle school projects. (I almost thought it was the adults showing them and was like WTF)

-BACK THE F***. Madame Bustier is PREGNANT! PREGNANT?! I am so lost? What is the story!? Who is the father! Is she married? Is it artificial insemination! Is it the principal?

-Adrien so moved by Marinette’s outburst of Friendship. Marinette ‘Just a friend’ Dupain-Cheng is going the Tia Gardner method of friendship. Lol

-Marinette ready to fight and Gabriel just like ‘Yea sure whatever’ (Gabriel’s smile murders puppies)

- Kagami trying to cheer adrien up. If you love adrigami, get that juice. (That looked like a kiss kiss, but the angle seemed off, so I am not counting it that way.)

- Kitty Clicker is wonderful. This entire scene is gold.

-  Gorrilla doesnt like planes, poor baby

- Plagg, you are a devious little s***. I love you so much. As a writer, his dialogue on how to convince adrien is so devilish its amazing. Using technicalities to tempt adrien.

-Lukanette shippers get your juice... even if it was still tainted a bit by Adrien inclusion. You still get a kiss.

- Okay, can we appreciate that Adrien is also having the same amount of trouble as Marinette moving on, but also include Guilt into the equation? I love this because you KNOW Chat noir is going to get an ear full later.

-Marinette has totally moved on from Adrien.... Oh my poor sweet little girl. You havent. You havent even a little. This ride is litterally the reverse of Startrain and its amazing. Alya is NOT helping. Also, give the person that drew Marinette’s Daydreams a f***ing raise. They earned it

-Marinette pulling herself OUT of the situation. Now adrien is slightly bummed out. Well i am sure that this is the last awkward experience with Adrien she will have. It isnt like the two of them will get lost in NY together... thats whats gonna happen isnt it?

-Marinette walking past all the couples sleeping together. JULROSE GET YOUR JUICE!!!

-Ah yes, nothing like watching the sunset with your good friend. Yes, you good pal, Adrien. Who is Just a friend. Wow, the realization that Marinette used the word friend in this movie more times then Adrien did in the entire series so far. (Or at the very least close)

- Adrien, STOP! Marinette is trying to move on from you! Stop making it so damn difficult for her. (I am not serious, i am eating this s*** up like Sushi)

-Nino confirms he loves Adrien. ADRINO COME GET YOUR JUICE! But yea, I feel alya and Nino’s pain. So they are going to help them both.

-Adrienette hugs. Yes, good.

-And thank goodness for Techno Pirate! Saving everyone from awkwardness by trying to bring down a plane... thats heading for NY...

-OH SWEET! BATMAN RIP OFF AND Captain Marvel rip off! And their sidekicks, Robin rip off and... Medusa girl? Okay Neat.

-Jokes aside, Majestia and Night Owl are boss as hell.

-Wow, I know that Ladybug and Chat noir got powerups now. But these United Heroes make their powers look so bland in comparison.

-How come New York has a f*** ton of superheroes in this universe? America really gets all the cool stuff regardless of what fictional universe your in.

- Why are the superheroes so keen on watching over Marinette’s class? Do they know? Do they know Marinette and Adrien are there? Or is it like they just want to prevent an international incident. PLEASE LET IT BE THE LATER.

- I have only had Aeon for 15 seconds and I would violently murder anyone who harms her.

-Oh my Sabrina! GET YOURSELF AN AMERICAN BOY! ... And Chloé is going to ruin the fun. Oof tough break roomies.

-The entire class! I cant even! Not even a second after the door closes they out to party on the roof!

-So lucky charm can only fix damage due to specific villains. It cant fix things when the villain is gone or they are out of range. I always knew it had limitations, but damn. Chat noir REALLY screwed the pooch on this one.

-Adrien no! Oh s***! He cant just... I mean.... He can but...

- So night Owl and Sparrow are both chick with Masculine superhero appearances. Thats actually pretty damn smart, great way to keep people off their identity.

- So an akumatized person can USE A MIRACULOUS WHILE AKUMATIZED! WHAT THE F*** THATS AWESOME. Also why didnt catalyst do that?

-Gabriel actually getting adrien out of there while before s*** hits the fan. That is actually kind of a decent parenting move. Granted he is going to cause it, but appreciate it.

-Marinette the bike thief is back! And she is an international criminal!

- She tried so hard. Welp I am glad that Marinette is clearly over... actually no. This trip made that clear.

-Liberation, Wow. That is the most American power I have ever seen. I LOVE IT.

- Okay, so I never thought i would say this. maybe there is such a thing as too much freedom? Or at least Freedom that lets you impede on Other people’s freedoms.

- I know what Zag is up to, and it is working. I want a tv series Of Jess and Aeon. They are wonderful.

-So Majestia can casually move the moon. Yea, thats amazing and terrifying! I love her.

-Quantum masking! So there is a glamor effect! I knew it! So Aeon knows who ladybug and Chat noir are.

-DID I F***ING MENTION I WOULD MURDER FOR AEON!

-aeon will never see Tikki or plagg. Thats so sad.

-At least Adrien learned an important lesson.

Overall, I did greatly enjoy this movie. Though there were times i wanted to know more, and times I wanted to know less. I know this takes place sometime during season 4, but the exact time is vague. It did tell a really cool story. It felt like a three episode saga combined into one. It was kind of interesting. And damn the drama was higher.

I give it a 7.5/10.

I would rate it up there with my favorite ML episodes.

General Headcanons

He was born November 24 1965. He’s currently 56, but I usually write him in his late 40s in most fanfic and content I make. So there’s this middle aged man....

He has hazel eyes. Sometimes they look green, sometimes brown. Sometimes they’ll be white but that’s when he’s using his magic so mind your business

:) i think he has piercings and tattoos, a skull (dead man teehee) on his upper arm, a tattoo of a date (the date pickles and him first met TEEHEE) on his left arm also has a tattoo on his arm of the day he “died” on his right. had his ears pierced when he was a teen.

Has a sweet tooth so hard. Smuggles in treats into the drawers of his desk just to snack on during the day and has a mini fridge just filled with ice cream and also sorts of other goodies. He loves brownies and cookies the most

Likes to work out and keep himself in shape. it takes his mind off of stressful things like work and the boys, and just take his morning practice sparring and doing various exercises in the mordhaus gym. 

he’s uh also very flexible so he does yoga a lot when he exercises. don’t. look too deep into that

cannot cook to save his life. he almost burned mordhaus down trying to make himself a sandwich

he can play guitar! he used to play it more often when he was younger but he rarely has the time to play it nowadays. when he does get to play it, it’s usually in private (and mainly songs by dethklok), or it’s to show off to a certain lead guitarist that yes he is playing that solo wrong

he’s ambidextrous but prefers using his right hand. he’ll use his left hand to spar in order to go easy on his opponents because hes a smug cunt

he’s 5′7 but intimidation factor adds a couple inches doesn’t it

has a scorpion named princess as a pet. he lets her sit on his desk sometimes and it scares the shit out of dethklok which makes charles laugh on the inside

hes also a cat person. one time toki brought a cat home and it settled on charles’ lap and he almost cried

loves to be a smug asshole and relishes in it. will not take shit from anyone, especially from some asshole who is trying to pull one over on him

he has no idea how social media works at all. will print memes out to show to dethklok, he’s very fond of cat memes specifically (i can has cheeseburger type beat)

he has no idea what any internet memes means he isn’t going to start learning. he is going to misuse internet phrases. are you boys, ah, finding the imposter? [cue five groans from dethklok]

the band he managed before dethklok was a band named savior who said they were a metal band with a unique sound, but that unique sound was actually just being a christian metal band that were bad at playing music. they also treated charles like shit and blamed him for them doing so poorly with sales and shows. had an unfortunate “accident” with a tour bus after charles had enough of their attitude towards him.  he denies he had anything to do with it (he did.)

Family/Childhood

charles is actually one of the tallest in his family. his dad is 6’1 and his older sister Callie is 5’11. cynthia is 5’6, caroline is 5’6, and his mom and charlotte are 5’5.

Was in a band with his fellow college bandmates. The band was called Habeas Corpses and he was the lead singer who also played guitar. Their sound was kind of similar to TWRP’s first two EPs (The Device and 2nite). they had a grunge aesthetic, and yes charles dyed his mullet black (with a purple streak), for the band.

his bandmates were all fellow law students. dillan was on drums, margaret was their bass guitar, and nick was their keyboardist. all three of them also got tutored by charles while in law school. they are still best friends and write to each other sometimes

Was on the debate team, but uh kicked off due to be very competitive (he threatened to punch the opposing debater)

Was also in the chess club, also kicked off for being too competitive (lunged at a kid for cheating)

After being kicked from the two previous clubs, he joined fencing, his very competitive nature made him the best in the state

nick (the guy in charles’ band) was charles’ roommate the whole time they were in college. they may or may not have had a brief relationship before they realized they would be better as friends

nick also has a nes and charles loved to played zelda and wrote an entire guide for himself because he’s was that into the game (nerd)

Relationship with Dethklok

Pickles - he’s known the drummer the longest out of any other member, and if you couldn’t tell by now, he had a brief relationship with the drummer back in the 80s (and maybe also still has a crush on him :)). charles respects and admires pickles’ talent as a musician and sometimes they play together when they have time alone. he tries to be there when pickles has a relapse in either emotions with his family or something else, but still tries to maintain a distance because he thinks that pickles doesn’t feel the same as he did in the 80s. (he does btw). nothing could break the bond these two share. not even death

Nathan - understands nathan’s quiet nature (nonverbal kings!) and strive for perfection in everything dethklok creates because he is the same way. their similarities allow them to connect on a level that allows nathan to open up about his feelings that he likes to lock away. nathan also gets charles to open his feelings up and actually care for himself for once in his damn life. charles also helps nathan with the depression he develops after charles dies and how to deal with it despite it being not brutal. nathan wants to give back and he does by becoming one of charles’ closest friends (and maybe even lovers hehehe)

Toki - charles has taken it upon himself to be toki’s father figure after seeing the way toki’s family has left him for essentially dead. ever since toki joined the band, charles has made it a point to be there for him whenever he needed it. even if it meant spending late nights reading to toki or sleeping over in toki’s room to help him sleep, he’ll do it. he blames himself for toki’s disappearance but toki assures him that he did the best he could. toki calls him dad a lot after doomstar. it makes charles cry.

Skwisgaar - unstoppable asshole meets immovable object. skwisgaar sees himself above everyone else like he does with the other dethklok members but with charles, skwisgaar knows that charles isn’t intimidated by him nor will he bow to the guitar god in anyway. this develops a game of cat and mouse between the two, with skwisgaar trying to no subtly push charles’ buttons and to see what makes him ticks, while charles resist him at every turn with a smug ‘:) is that all you got’ and it delights him to finally see the guitarist squirm under pressure.

Murderface - at first the two are very. distant to say the least. murderface used to see charles as unemotional robot and charles was fine with that and accepted the distance. overtime however, and especially after charles died, murderface warmed up to charles confiding in him things he hasn’t told the band, mainly things about his insecurities because charles is ‘fucking smart with crap like this’. and charles helps him and is happy to see him work out his problems and not bottle them anymore like the rest of his bandmates. charles also enjoys murderface’s company as a friend as well. and….he’s gonna help murderface the most with the whole traitor stuff too.

Abigail - mlm and wlw hostility. but seriously they’re good buds. he sympathizes with having to deal the moronic actions of dethklok on a daily basis and also thinks she’s really intelligent and overall fun to hang out with. they take lunch breaks frequently together and like to make fun of people at dethklok dinners together as a fun activity together. abigail will bully his ass once she finds out she’s dating charles’ sister and WILL bring up those baby pictures to get a higher raise thank you very much

Knubbler - can you say coworker besties! like abigail, he gets along because they both have to deal with dethklok being, well dethklok, but with knubbler, charles can relax a little more. the two cause problems on purpose just because they can. the two are also close friends and knubbler tries to get charles to relax for once in his life, and despite charles protests and objections, he sometimes caves and hands out with his friend (maybe boyfriend OOOOO who knows)

Can and will laugh at anything. She’s not stubborn exactly? Like she’ll concede an argument if it’s not super important to her and has no problem with losing or backing down in many cases; she’s pretty open minded in that respect, but if something is central to her values then she will Die before she backs down

On that note she’s overall a very logical person but when it comes down to it she'll follow her heart/first instinct

Lowkey she… did not care about the reveal? it was a surprise but not her first priority in the moment- she kind of already thought UB was sketchy and didn’t trust them, so mainly she was pissed off that Rebecca had sent them to babysit her instead of actually help solve the murders

Speaking of Rebecca their relationship is kind of yikes. Kira isn’t exactly mad that Rebecca was gone so often, but she does think that she kind of forfeited her parenting rights and was annoyed that Rebecca was interfering with her life; first by getting her on the force and then by dropping UB on her. So now it’s Very Awkward between them because Kira doesn’t want to be like… mean but honestly what is there to say?? They’re trying but neither of them like to share personal information so it’s rough

On the subject of sharing, she just… genuinely doesn’t like to open up. Like, it doesn’t come naturally and in her mind it’s just… nobody else’s business what she’s feeling/what’s going on in her life

Genuinely does not realize that people care about her unless they openly tell her lmao... sad hours but at this point in the story she honestly doesnt think that any of UB cares abt her beyond their job besides the one she's dating :(

Two weeks had dragged by as you felt like an empty shell going day by day . You hadn't spoken to anyone apart form Scott ,you haven't left the house unless it was for a good reason. You would constantly forget to eat so Scott became like your own personal chief.

And all this because the time had finally arrived where your love for chris was outshone by his own love for someone else .

Scott had told you that Lisa and Minka have been planning a engagement party much to chris dislike as he sees the announcement as an engagement party .

Chris had tried to call you but you always let it go to voice mail as it was probably an invitation to the party next Saturday. You really didnt want to go . The pain in your heart was begaing you not to as it cant take anymore hurt . But you knew as being the brothers best friend and a family friend you need to go . Because as much as it hurt you . You know that this will make Chris happy and you need to be happy for him even tho you are dying inside .

It was the day before the party so the Friday and some how Scott had managed to get you out of your bed and house only to be in his house on his couch . Currently eating too much mint chocolate chip ice cream along with this stuiped movie Scott forced you to watch

You knew that Scott put picked this movie on purpose . Whether it was for the both of you to make fun or the movie like you usual do or let you watch it because it was so fuckin relatable. Either way you too had ended up watching the movie in silence with a few mumbles about food or if one was getting up or not and even a giggle or two when Rosie was struggling with a new born .

It had got to the part of the wedding and oh by god how you related to it . Rosie speech on how she loves him no matter where he is or who hes with .. your heart was yelling someone gets it . You were stuck in your own your head focusing on Rosie words until Scott spoke up.

"How ?" He ask

"What ? " you were confused and faced him as he faced you turning his body as the movie played in the back ground .

"How , when, why ?" He stared directly into your eyes with the soft blue shade he shares with his brother

"What ? " you asked again

"When did you begin to have feeling for my brother and why ... and how much because not to be mean but iv never seen you like this not ever so his engagement clear has affected you " he said softly

You hadn't yet actually spoken the words I love your brother to Scott or I'm in love with him to be more exact but Scott had guest it never asked about it until now .

You were silent for a moment thinking ... well more like your head was empty of thoughts you just liked the silence.

"Who said I have feeling.... "

"Y/n " Scott cut you off

You shift in your seat turning to face Scott legs cross over each other and hands in your lap looking down .

"I .. I had always had a crush on him you know ... who didnt " scott hummed in agreement

"But do you remember that day when I...was ment to have my first date but he never showed up "

"Well Chris picked me up... and he tried cheering me up .. and it worked "

You glanced up a Scott who looked softly at you as your eyes hot glassy . You looked back down to your hands as there stared nervously fiddling with the ends of the blanket that was wrapped around you.

"Well we were at a dinner ... and do you know in movies it like you have loved someone and you always new . Well it wasnt like that ... "

You took a deep breath.

"I hit me .. like a truck ... he was sitting at the other side of the table... and it hit me everything flooded I... love him but not just that . Because I love you ."

That caused Scott to scoffed as if ' I know you do who doesnt '

"It was more ... well more like a different type of love ... or more like . I was in love in love with him ."

You glance up at the ceiling letting the tears sink back into your eyes as you shake your head .

"I AM in love with him "

You looked at Scott who now had tears in his eyes ..and red showing he was trying to hold them back .

"And I think I always will . "

You were both silent for a seconde

"No matter where he is ... or who hes with a will always love him "

That caused you both to giggle as you made your way into Scotts open arms

"Quoting are we " he chuckled as your head landed on his chest as his arms wrapped around you .

"Well you know me "

You heard him sniff as you felt a tear drop into your hair .

"Oh .. god ... how have you kept it in for so long... that was like ... .... we were 14 or 15 fuck how ? Why ?" He said softly as tears clouded his voice .

"I didnt say anything or do anything because he will never and has never felt the same I'm... im like a sister to him ...in a weird way... and I'd never deserve him ....."

You left your head and looked at Scott .

"And at the same time I realised iam in love with him I also knew nothing would become of it because... " tears bow fell down your eyes .

"Because it was better to have both of you in my life then not to have neither of you ... and I wasnt willing to risk it ..... and I knew ... I knew this time would come .... but it dosnt stop .... it doesn't stop it hurting " you couldn't help but let it all out as you tucked your self back into Scott

He placed a kiss in your hair

"Your a silly one ain't ya ..... I will always be here you know that " he said softly

"You do know that right ?"

You just nodded as your tears drained his shirt .

You stood at Lisa front door with Scott by your side much like that dreaded day three weeks ago . You were in a blue floral dress in small pumps waiting patiently as you heard the party already up and ready with in .

"Its not late to turn back " Scott whisper in your ear just before the door swang open. To reveal Minka at the door with a giant smile and an even bigger diamond on her left hand . That had somehow made your heat beat pain through out your veins.

"It is now " you whisper back before putting a wide fake smile on

"Minka .... contagralations " you tired your best not to sound bitter you really did .

"Y/n right ? " she asked looking you up and down . You just nodded your head

She was about to speak again when Chris practically ripped the door hinges off as he opened the door wider . As his eyes landed on you there grew and his month hung open as he let out a deep sigh . Making your heat beat fast instead of the numb feeling it has had over the last three weeks .

"Y/n " was all he said a small whisper .

You and Chris eyes were locked missing the fallen smile of Minka as she looked between the two of you here eyebrows knitting . While Scott had a small smirked placed on his lips due to Minka reaction

"Chris I thought we agreed I'd do the door " Minka snapped at chris . Breaking his eye contact with you . To glance at Minka for a split seconde

"Um yeah sorry " he said quickly and looked back deep into your eyes , with the softest blue shade "I... I just heard her name ..." he sighed and he said it slowly and softly . He tilted his head almost like a child went there feelings are hurt . "I haven't..... I havnt see you ... heard form you ... I tried calling but ..I always ... "

"I was busy " you cut him off

Before chris could answer or even process what you said , Lisa pops her head at the other side of the door

"What are you all doing out here ! ... come on come in "she took at step back with a wide smile , as you stepped in .

She pulled you in to a tight high as she always does "isn't this amazing.... finally get to celebrate my boy with hes wife to be "

You closed your eyes as your rested your chin on her shoulder and sighed "it sure is "

You took a step back and put on the widest smile .

What you didnt know was as you were facing momma Evan's. Two blue eyed boys looked at you with soften eyes but both for different reasons .

alright, im actually kind of in the mood to unpack some stuff regarding karkat's character and the way alternia works actually, so i dont mind giving this a go. and while act 5 isnt completely finished yet (so this is an analysis post for act 5 up until page 2305), there is still more to explore, and im pretty sure i have a lot more to read regarding both karkat AND alternia. until then, i will give a general layout as to what i know so far and how i can expand this in a psychological way (especially considering i did my psych exam so my mind is FRESH from studying)

alright, starting with what seems to be the deal with the hemospectrum, theres a total of 12 blood colors. HOWEVER, one of those blood colors is a "mutant" blood which is unwanted in troll culture as it is, well, "mutant", meaning whoever has this blood will get brutally slaughtered. hurrayyy. im guessing it is even lower than aradia's rust blood, as she is allowed to live but is the lowest on the hierarchy triangle. meaning karkats blood is not even ON the hierarchy triangle and simply buried underground where they hope he stays. so its not exactly pleasant to be living in a society where everyone is trying to KILL you or at least keep you away from everything.

from what i remember, troll reproduction is a vital aspect in their culture, that everyone is forced to mate and drones will come by each house to collect the genetic material. this is mandatory apparently, and if someone were to object, they will be “culled" as quickly as they could say no. alternia seems to be really keen on the whole "blood and carnage" thing, which means their probable solution to anybody breaking the law, is to kill them on sight and just leave them there to rot - regardless of who they are and what families they comes from or have. trolls are free to kill whenever or whoever they please without any governmental repercussions. which means revenge upon revenge happens without any policy.

however this is very important when looking at karkat, because karkat may not be able to do the whole reproduction process (not that we necessarily want him to, im saying this in terms of how its mandatory for every troll and there will be a time when the drones WILL come for karkat). but as he is already a mutant and if they were to "collect" from him, they would find out his blood regardless of how he hides it. they will either cull him for saying no, or cull him for his blood. karkat, in this sense, is doomed regardless. which makes his character much more interesting.

and keep in mind alternia kind of sucks, because from the looks of it, trolls are constantly tested throughout their lives to prove themselves to society that they are allowed to live and survive. but ONLY if they are the strongest among them. alternia wants to become this fearful planet where the weak die off and only those proven worthy can stay to grow up and slaughter more of their kind until the world is nothing but blood thirsty strong murderers. im not too sure who is governing alternia but they can suck a dick if they think this is how good morals work. alternia only really has one way to solve things which is to kill those who question/fight back, OR to kill those who CANNOT fight back essentially. which puts all the trolls through a double edged sword where they cannot do anything but follow the guidelines given to them by troll's society and government, and try to survive as much as they can until then.

if i remember correctly, when it comes to the law side of things. if you look at it from terezi's introduction where she explains prosecutions with her plushies (lemonsnout ect ect i forgot the term for them lol), she said "you are guilty until proven innocent" which is the polar opposite of "innocent until proven guilty” used in OUR own society today (tho i guess we are by far the "good guys" in this situation, but we are far different than how trolls live their lives). anyways, what this means is that everyone dies regardless unless theres literal proof that they have not done the crime. even so i wouldnt put it past them to do nothing about their case even WITH proof. terezi even goes to say that technically there is no way to deal with the law on alternia, and most of crimes get solved through death. she even demonstrates this by how easily she hung the "suspect" and flipped a coin to determine his fate. however, even with the coin landing on the side of safety, where the suspect were to be released, she said "im blind remember i cannot see this coin" and essentially "killed" him. while terezi may have just been playing with her plushies, theres something we can take from this which dictates how their actual court cases are actually solved.

NOW, vriska (yes ik pls bare with me here, i will not make it about vriska but i do have a point here), from the last few pages i saw, can basically kill her friends in an instant, without any remorse. i can tell she sees this as the most "necessary" solution for her problems. i wouldnt say its for survival, but she does do it as a way to provide some sort of safety on alternia. she is a higher blood, and apparently the high bloods are known to kill whoever they please as long as its convenient. and since trolls have this whole fad of "killing the ones who cause you trouble so the problem is out of the way", she is wired to think its the only solution when threatened or when you dislike a person. 

god, she killed aradia because she wanted "revenge", because she wanted to get back at aradia for tormenting her with ghosts EVEN IF aradia did so because she threw tavros off a cliff in the first place. this may have worsened their friendship, KEEP IN MIND THEY WERE FRIENDS, but NEITHER, and i mean neither terezi/vriska/aradia, had any remorse if the other dies as long as there was a reason. in the story, vriska didnt care what happened to tavros because she disliked him, therefore becoming pretty bias over his fate. because of this attempt at killing, aradia didnt care what happened to vriska either, and neither did terezi. terezi sold her out to one of the most powerful beings on their planet, solely because of their revenge cycle. as long as the troll in question did something "malicious”, then that plays a factor in their morals. vriska gave no second thought to killing both of her friends (or at least attempt to with tavros), terezi also tormented john in act 4 which led to his “doomed timeline death” and sold vriska out after she realized vriska wouldnt change. so no fucking WONDER karkat tries to hide who he is, he's overly cautious to not let it slip out because even the people he calls friends could backstab him at any given time considering theres LITERAL EXAMPLES OF THESE TROLLS HAVING DONE SO.

to karkat, he sees this as dangerous, which is why he even CALLS vriska dangerous to begin with. she might not even hesitate to kill him herself or maybe sell him out to the drones, because 1. she may not want to be a witness to something society actively seeks to destroy and 2. she cares more for her survival than karkats. EVEN if they were friends (re: aradia and vriska and terezi). so it just shows. 

on that note, i find it funny how karkat indirectly distracted vriska after she baited him with the question of his blood in a past conversation, which prompted karkat to monologue about troll romance. he was, yes, VERY interested in this topic to start with, but it was a nice little bonus for karkat as to not be found out by the one person who would most likely kill him even if it wasnt on purpose. however, we do not know how this will play out IF she does find out, we just know karkat is in the right to be scared of the theory.

and, alright i do have to mention this, while karkat may have been an angry fucker to START with, who spites the world and throws out insults every chance he gets, i feel he does this as more of a survival instinct as well. he doesnt care what he says to people no matter what they rank on the hemospectrum. they dont know his blood color so he feels he has some sort of immunity, but he just needs to keep it hidden. it also may just be his personality, as he IS a character who was given specific traits and andrew went along with it without so much thinking about plot. yet if you look at this from more of the metaphorical route, think about it with uhhhh lets say the perspective of how dogs work. for example, when you put a chihuahua next to a doberman, a doberman is more of an excited, energetic dog whereas a chihuahua will rain hell down on anybody who so goes near them. sometimes this is to make up for their size, to seem as menacing as the larger doberman, as they have nothing else to fend themselves with. another way to look at it is, if you see a bear (i forget if its black/brown or grizzly) you make yourself seem like the bigger person by scaring it off with sounds and eventually it will leave you alone. these sort of tactics work in the sense of survival. this is sort of what karkat could be doing, he uses insults and a defensive shouting to not really "hide" himself, but to have some sort of way as to not be found out if people start to question. someone asks him "hey karkat whats your blood" he goes "FUCK YOU, FUCK OFF, END OF STORY" which could make a person go "yo sorry dude forget i ever asked". so this could be a factor as to why he is so crabby, however on the other hand, he is crabby because that is also his character. andrew probably thought yo cancer = crab = crabby. however i do like how he is perceived and the whole "mutant blood" really made me do a double take on how he views life himself. he has to always hide who he is or he will get physically killed. alternia would take joy in finding out he does not belong there because lets face it, alternia is a bitch of a planet.

this also brought me to ask the question, why does karkat want to be a leader if hes so scared of what would happen to him if he were to be found out? which then, at first i said lol this is just karkat, he wants to a leader because he just wants to be the leader, he likes when things go to plan and that he the most say in their sburb plans considering he thinks everyone else is a "dumbass". to which, i then thought about it more and went ouch what if hes a leader because he knows hes not valued enough in society, that he somehow wants to feel some sort of importance in the world, so he wants to become a leader. i imagine younger karkat, not knowing why his blood is so undermined, finding out he is not wanted and suddenly on the most wanted list without having even DONE anything. even TAVROS said he was on that list, but only because he was weak and had no back-bone, here karkat may have been strong but no matter what, he was to be culled BECAUSE of his blood. something he cannot change no matter what. imagine a little kid knowing he will die at any point because of who he is (rlly sounds familiar if you think about it). so of course, he hides himself from the world, but do you think for an instant, little angry karkat wants to simply be FORGOTTEN about? i doubt that, he wants to be heard, he doesnt necessarily want to be rejected as he knows he will be, so while he does hide his blood, he wants to have a voice no matter what. when being a leader, people dont reject you, they LISTEN. they all may not want to because karkat is just a fucking ticking time bomb, who can lash out at any second, but i feel theres now a reason why he has this superiority complex. he wants to sort of become the person he knows he never will become (if you put it into that perspective). so thats kind of why im giving him the benefit of the doubt here.

i would also like to point out a sort of.... comparison?? not with the dogs but with unwanted children in a family household. this doesnt necessarily apply to karkat, but sub in family household with society and it might as well. (on that note, a warning/viewer discretion, if you have any problem with this kind of discussion, i wouldnt read further into this paragraph and skip to the next one) alright, the unwanted child psychology basically deals with the process of a child which is neglected by their parents, and/or know that they were never wanted in the family. i read an article a while back when we were discussing this in a lecture, we were browsing multiple people's perspective on the matter, and one said "An affective relationship may be suffocating to [the unwanted/neglected child]: it’s a defense against intimacy of which they know nothing. Normally they fluctuate between egotism and deep feelings of inferiority. They don’t understand what a balanced and healthy self-esteem looks like." it explains how the child who grows up in an unwanted home admits great emotion deprivation, because the child's bonds of affection are extremely fragile, and this can lead to both egotism and feeling like they are inadequate. and it really strongly shows karkats personality. we havent gotten that much from him in general, but considering how he uses this egotism to cover up the fact that he may be doomed, really shows the similarity. i liked this short article so i want to give some points to take into consideration, specifically this part: "It will be very difficult for unwanted children to build healthy relationships of affection in their adult life. Love is a foreign language to them. They don’t know how to decipher the codes and much less how to build them. It’s very hard for them to need and to be needed. That’s why, more often than not, they completely shirk their conflicts with peers and superiors, or do nothing but generate them. They speak incessantly about the broken relationship that marked their arrival in the world. A person with such a background will need help to get through those abysses of love that live in their heart. The most important step is that they recognize that their discomfort doesn’t depend on who they are, but the circumstances that led to their being." it may not be 100% tru for karkat but theres a small portion of it that can link back to karkats view on life and how being this mutant can really change who he is as a person. and i hope you can see the similarity between karkats character and this form of psychology. yet i also do not fully know the depth of karkat vantas. however i do hope it continues to build up in this way, as it would be both interesting and make us feel more for him as a person.

alright, i think if i write any more i will never stop aghjsk, which is a bit too much for a sunday afternoon, basically to sum up this post, trolls are violent and karkat will be killed if hes found out, even by his friends if it comes down to it. so karkat cannot really trust anybody, hes alone and imagine the thrill he had when he saw jack cut his hand to show the bright red blood? that he finally has someone LIKE HIM. imagine when he finds out about the kids. so i believe in his growth, while he needs to get a better vocabulary, i do get why hes so defensive all the time. because hes both scared and unwanted. and he wants to make up for it.

and i guess with all that being said, you can tell i now have a slight soft spot for the kid lmao

actually let me just talk about my monster ocs real quick

Jula: big blue ominous beast

His head is a cow/bull skull with like ridiculously huge massive long horns. he has 4 diamond eyes. 2 large ones in his eye sockets and 2 smaller ones above the eye sockets. I will get into the eyes later. he has a mohawk/mane thats striped dark blue and black and it flops over his skull a little. It goes all the way down his spine as a mane. I think his body is covered in short soft fur, and its blue. (lighter than the blue in the mane but still a pretty dark nice color. He has huge shoulders and arms, like, absolutely jacked. massive beefy arms. but he is also very dexterous and nimble with both sets of hands. like he could be a world renowned surgeon if he wasnt a huge terrifying monster whos presence fills all with dread. more on that in a sec. He has a smaller second set of arms underneath the first set. theyre even more nimble and dexterous. he has hooves, i think like a bull or a horse, idk, i dont usually focus much on his hooves, except for the fact that he rarely if ever makes any sound when he walks. he has to make an effort to make noise announcing his arrival. He likes to wear colorful fanny packs/hip bags around his waist to carry Important Witch Items(tm). His tail is big and long and heavy and covered in sharp, painful barbs. His tail is a deadly weapon. Now remember what I said about the dread? that has nothing to do with his appearance, for the record. that is a natural side effect of being in his presence. at all times he exudes an aura of ominous dread and doom. its not on purpose, he cant really control it (until later) eventually he figures out how to turn it Up and Down, at first he figures out how to turn it down to a sort of minimum baseline level of dread but he eventually even figures out how to suppress it entirely. but he doesnt ever really do that bc it takes a Lot of effort ans makes him feel awful instead. those who are well acquainted with Jula can eventually learn to distinguish between Real, Legitimate Dread and Doom feelings, and Jula Dread and Doom feelings. He likes birds more than people. most animals seem to be unaffected by his Dread Presence unless he specifically makes an effort to affect them. He's a He/Him aro lesbian. Oh! also!! the eyes!! let me talk about the eyes: Jula's gemstone eyes are interesting, because not only does it give him sort of, multifaceted kaleidoscope vision, they can also be connected to any other cut gemstone like object and be able to see from THOSE as well. this does require actually conencting them and adding them to his network of gemstone eyes, with a spell that Birdie taught him. He generally uses this for surveillance of Birdie's network of tunnels to make sure nothing is amiss, but eventually he decides he wants to be independent from Birdie and do his own thing, so she has to figure out another way to do that (This is why Jared was made). He doesnt mind it but it does take up a large amount of his mental energy and focus for awhile, to sift through the sheer massive amount of visual input he recieves for awhile. he can also still see through a stone even if it is broken. in fact breaking it just increases the number of its facets that he can see through. He also doesnt seem to have to obey the laws of physics, and he can possibly teleport? or at least move very quickly. We are unsure. he can move in complete silence, and is often found in rooms that he could not logically have entered without breaking open a doorframe. eventually he learns how to appear in peoples dreams, and influence emotions besides the dread.

He cant Talk, he can make Some Sounds but he cant talk, so he has made it his mission to learn as many different sign languages as he can and do his best. he also carries a little notepad and pen if people dont understand his signing. eventually he also carries a little electronic device in addition to the notepad. the notepad unfortunately has the flaw of requiring to get close enough to someone for them to see it and read it, which is difficult bc the Dread Presence coupled with his towering, terrifying appearance often sends people running before he can talk to them. He is known for being very stoic, but this could be because his face is a nake skull with no muscles or skin to make expressions with. But then he also is often so preoccupied with sorting all the visual input he is constantly receiving that he seems unresponsive to things. often he could very well engage with these things but chooses to ignore them bc he does not want to bother.

He eats bones. he might have more teeth than you think he does. He is the only one strong enough to subdue Bokrae if she goes Rogue. Bokrae enjoys wrestling/Sparring with him, and sometimes he indulges her in this.

(this is what she helps him learn) her familiar is one them #massive fucking snakes that are too big to have a cage for so they just live in ppls houses? yea. they have a fun and chill dynamic #i should post his playlist at some point tbh #and also like develop the blood witch a little more. oh also jula learns magic he keeps setting things including himself on fire #but like harmlessly but he develops this habit of scaring the shit out of ppl by being hidden in a dark corner and then doing a little spell #and FWOOOSH BRIGHT blue flames run up his arms and along his horns. very startling and unsettling #when he becomes a witch himself he does copy Birdie in having multiple bird familiars. he gets a bunch of different types of Jays. #like blue jay stellars jay etc? he maintains a chill rship w birdie tho btw even after he leaves. they do collaboration a lot on dif things #but Birdie still tries to respect his space and autonomy. shes very proud of Jula. sometimea he likes to get existential in convos w Krachyn #but it doesnt last long bc Krachyn is too cycnically divorced from being sincere so they wont stop being sarcastic about it. i think tho.. #eventually he krachyn and siiyr do have some bonding over their individual fraught relationships with how they came to exist and what its #all for. Bokrae should be able to relate as someone who needs her bones and SKULL replaced semifrequently so that her head doesnt. explode #but Bokrae simply doesnt have very complicated feelings about it. shes fine. shes just thrilled to be here and wants to drink some more #molten glass and pure capsaicin please and thank you. okay im out of tags now lol
