So I’m at the library checking out some movies. They got some newer staff working the checkout desk and my older daughter keeps saying she feels like they’re judgey. Which ok yeah the anxiety runs strong in this family and since they don’t have the self check out anymore I always feel like the librarians are going to be judging my choices. So I always try to include something not trashy in my selections. But all this time I’ve been like “no they’re not judging you that’s all in your head they’re just doing their job”
Anyway so today I’m checking out my movies and the lady gets to the last movie and says “ugh this looks so bad” w t f
I suffer from moderate hearing loss and I heard her clearly. I’m sure she thought she was talking to herself or maybe even thinkng it but oh no
The movie in question buster keatons sidewalks of New York
Now I’m not about to stop going to the library over this. I’ve been told I got crap taste in movies my whole life but seriously what if she says something like that to someone who isn’t comfortable with their film choices or someone taking out someone exporingntheir sexuality or a medical issue their embarrassed about.
Not cool lady not cool
And I mean not for nothing I also took out this
And I mean come on that certainly looks like a much worse movie than a buster keaton talkie

New Yorker’s were going home one day and suddenly they noticed the city was filled with tulips.
Does this mean winter is finally over?
