My primary nostalgia for Mario is playing the Nintendo at my grandmother’s house with my cousins as a kid, but I was the youngest and I was terrible at the game, so I could never make it to the Bowser level. My grandmother passed in January. I tried to play it on the Switch, even if it hurt. Turns out I’m still terrible at Mario.

(Bowser got his butt kicked by Mario so he taking a nap to try again later? lol)

I’m in the midst of redesigning all the leaders of the kingdoms in Mario (Plus making more!) Daisy and Peach were really fun :)

Lady Fernsworth is the queen of the Plains Kingdom, the border state to the Mushroom Kingdom. In all honesty, she’s probably the smartest of all the monarchs—she’s a sentient plant, ofc she’s going to surrender to Larry Koopa, he can breathe fire!!

Zephyr Smoothsail is the prince of the Sky Kingdom, a kingdom that has been isolated from the rest of the world by mountains for centuries. He’d never seen a Koopa when Ludwig invaded, Zephyr was reasonably frightened. Also I may or may not ship them it’s fine.

If you have any ideas for the last four kingdoms, I’d love to hear them :D

I don't know why it took me so long to post these, but at least I was drawing before I did. More coming this month. Also don't ask be what kinds of dogs these are because I forgot... For the most part.

Transparent and read more undercut:

The only ones I remember is Fred being a golden retriever, Scooby as a great dane (like always), me as a blue heeler (despite me not being Australian, I couldn't imagine myself being anything else), and Ezekiel being a nova scotia duck tolling retriever, as well as Staci. And Trent is a Canadian inuit dog.

Huh, I guess I remembered most of them. I'm guessing that Scott is a red heeler (because I'm too not into research so..), Ponce is probably a dobermann and I think Brick is the same as Trent idk. The rest I forgot. Sorry.

Also that's younger me with today me. Not sure if that counts as vent but I drew me and little me when listening to whatever. Meh.

Also also I tried giving them specific hair styles because of the decades those styles were popularized. At the time of drawing this I became nostalgic and/or a fan of 2000's stuff and beyond. So I thought that it would be cool to have certain characters have that sort of hair (or fur) style that matches their canon counterparts, while making it seem like a specific style at specific times. You know?

Wanted to show of my designs for Princess Sorela (who belongs too @marshmalleaux-queen/@marshmallowloves)

Sorela is the princess of Ice and snow and does have ice related magic, (I like to think her kingdom has a bunch of them growing around.) She was called the princess of the Aurora lights by Rosalina who gifted her a power star as a thank you for taking care of some Luma that got lost, she also thought it be safe with her since her kingdom is seeming isolated.

Sorela and Leanna are best friends cause they're considered to be rejects/weird among the other princesses, Sorela is called creepy cause she lives out in a frozen "wasteland" and doesn't talk to anyone when really shes just shy, Leanna is called a brute or evil cause she lives with the Chain Chomps and cause of how ripped her dress is, shes really sweet and nice, she just loves animals people find scary or dangerous and her dress is ripped cause she lets her Chomps chew and pull on it she thinks its cute~ (And she was just born with sharp teeth)

random headcanon that bc luigi is so scared all the time, he LOVES scary movies and fake haunted houses and stuff like that because it's a way for him to CONTROL his fear and know that they're fake - he can decide to watch or go to them on his own, can stop at any time, and there's no consequences either way

For those post... 2010? The Nanny fans who want more fic and haven't discovered this one yet (or those older fans who thought this site was lost), let me introduce you to the Real Unofficial Nanny Home Page (RUNHP). Not online anymore, but well archived on the Internet Archive.

It was my home away from home for much of my teen years. It had screen caps when only a few people had capture cards. It shared interviews, appearances and titbits before we knew how to find them (especially us non-US folks). And it had fanfic. So much fanfic. I have personally archived about 800 stories from there.

Barb was the webmistress of the site, and especially in the beginning, you had to submit your story and she might not publish it. Also, most stories were written during the shows run, which means that most of it is Fran/Max. There is some Niles/CC, and I don't think there are any other pairings (except maybe TN Character/OC). Also, most of it is rated G or T, later stuff might be rated M/E.

Some authors made it over to FF.net (I don't think I know of any besides me who made it to AO3, if there are I would love to know) and republished stories there. But a lot are just on that site. Also, we did a virtual seventh which was quite fun.

Recommended authors: Christine Davis (F/M & N/CC), IvanaBGood (N/CC and the one who opened my eyes to that pairing), and SMB (F/M). If you want angsty teenager-written fic (some self-insert even) written by me, look for Sara (the one with the most fics).

Anyway, if you are craving more fics, if you want to see what people thought while the show was still on the air (and we didn't know even if Fran and Max would get together, let alone Niles and CC), have fun!

NB: There are later snapshots but at some point the encoding got messed up, and there are no newer (or not many at least) fics in later archiving.
