Ok so I'm very deep into NBC Heroes as well as Sylaire ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ like 10 years late but idc the series are *chef's kiss*

Shout out to @keysstina 's analysis as to why Claire Bennet and Sylar/Gabriel Gray are amazing characters in Heroes because ugh they put into words everything I've thought so far.

EAD: Bugs's preliminary debut was on April 30, 1938; Daffy's first appearance was on April 17, 1937. Since there are a lot of variations through the franchise, a lot of fans decide to "age" the toons by debut date. Ergo, there's a 1-year difference between them.

Al was born in 1934, and Sam was born in 1953; there's a 19-year difference between them.

Sky High introduces Will as a new student; as it's made obvious that he's a freshman, he's likely 14. Warren is made evident of being an older student; I figure he's a sophomore: 1-year difference.

Shane was born in '88, and Ryland was born in '91. It's a 3-year difference.

Sylar is 31 at the beginning of series 1 (2006), and Mohinder is 41 at the end of series 4 (2011). 11-6=5; 41-5=36, so there is a 5-year age difference.

6. List your OTP from each fandom you’ve been involved in.

Oh damn so many. And almost all are “problematic” ships; just because I can’t stand assholes and fight for victims of toxic relationships in real life doesn’t mean I can’t love asshole characters and take enjoyment from dark pairings. Draco/Hermione was my first OTP, along with Snape/Hermione. Sylar/Peter from Heroes, Kirk/Spock from Star Trek, Wincest, Dean/Benny, Destiel, Samstiel, and Wincestiel are all kind of tied for Supernatural. Sherlock/John from Sherlock. Reylo from the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy. I’m sure I’m missing some but those were the big fandoms I had prolonged involvement in.

11. Who is your current OTP?

I don’t really consider Stan/Reader and Ford/Reader eligible to be considered OTPs, so I’ll go with the other fandom I’m heavily involved in; Reylo.

15. Is there an obscure ship which you love?

Though I never wrote any fanfic for this ship myself, the somewhat obscure podcast The Thrilling Adventure Hour has a wonderful show called Sparks Nevada, Marshal on Mars, and the OT3 of Sparks/Red Plains Rider/Croach has always held a special place in my heart. I love poly ships to begin with, and the push-pull of mildly antagonistic love between the three of them is so damn charming.

21. What was the first fanfic you ever wrote?

Oh god, some unspeakably badly written Draco/Hermione fic when I was about 14.

23. Name a fic you’ve written that you’re especially fond of & explain why you like it.

So far, Must See: Mystery Shack remains one of my favorites. I’m just so proud of the banter!

28. If someone were to draw a piece of fanart for your story, which story would it be and what would the picture be of?

I woudn’t mind seeing fanart for Must See: Mystery Shack or Blooms of Fortune. The reader bent over the “mermaid” display with Stan behind them would be so sexy and funny for Must See: Mystery Shack, and Ford looking dazed and lust-struck up at the reader from Blooms of Fortune would be lovely.

31. What’s the nicest thing someone has ever said about your writing?

I don’t really have anything specific that comes to mind, but I will say that I once got recognized by my username at a Supernatural convention and I just about died at how rad that was.

Peter smiled into the bottle. “I guess I'm just not afraid of you," he said, taking a drink from the shared glass without breaking eye contact.

It was the lack of lie-alarm-bells in Sylar's head that sobered him. Suddenly it wasn't a laughing matter to be sitting alone with the only person he'd ever met who knew exactly who he was, held no illusions as to the things he was capable of, and still wasn't afraid of him.

Do you remember the episode/chapter/scene where you first started shipping 6?

[Kirk x Spock] Amok Time, although I never allowed myself to think of it sexually (I was very repressed) until around 1992 when I stumbled across vividly pornographic fanart while in college. Even then, I was deeply scandalized about it. I suppose it’s fortunate that I had no one I could discuss the matter with, because that meant I failed to embarrass myself with a bunch of homophobic yet titillated feelings.

What’s your favourite fanfiction for 4?

[Petlar] A bunch of Mac and Lana’s stuff. I don’t know if it’s even still around, as it’s been more than a decade. They posted (as far as I know) exclusively on LJ. They wrote some of the most decadent, hot, sexy, and fun scenes I’d ever read. This was back when FFN was not safe for erotic content and AO3 wasn’t around yet.

What’s your favourite fan art/picture for 2?

[Reylo] The best Reylo art I’ve seen is by lilithsaur. There may be single individual pieces better than hers is in general - I have no idea, I haven’t seen all her stuff and I certainly have never lined up all the Reylo stuff to judge it - but she has SO MUCH and it’s ALL lovely! The expressions are fantastic, the content is hot, they’re both gorgeous! I’m always happy to see her art. When I think of Reylo, her art is what I think of.

What’s your favourite headcanon for 1?

[Kylux] That their relationship is not unsalvageable. I love to read the different ways people bring them together, as long as the author doesn’t brush away all the difficulties between them. It’s that process that I’m in love with, which is why so many of my ships are opposites or enemies or have other “unsolvable” barriers between them.

What do you like most about the dynamic between the people of 7?

[Darkpilot] This one is a guilty pleasure because it’s twisted. I like the power dynamic and Poe being a complete slut for it. There’s never any future for the relationship. It’s all self-indulgent PWP.

When 9 have sex is it more giggly or more serious?

[Drarry] Never giggly. They’re both dreadfully serious, but also very snarky and possessed of dry wits and biting sarcasm. When they have sex, they put that all aside and it’s reverent.

Out of all the ships who do you think have the best chemistry?

Kirk and Spock at present, but I have expectations that Rey and Kylo will match them. It’s the mental/spiritual bond that does it.

Which ship has the strongest bond?

As above, Kirk and Spock. It also helps that we’ve seen their bond develop over forty years on screen and such a rich assortment of canon supplemental materials.

Which ship do you spend the most time reading fanfiction for/talking/writing about?

At present, I read Kylux the most, write Gingerpilot the most, and probably end up talking about Reylo the most. Or maybe Kylux. It’s mostly me saying things into the void about whatever I’m excited about.

Which one was your first ship?

Kirk x Spock. I sent them on endless fantasy missions when I was a kid.

If 6 were to break up, how would it happen?

Kirk and Spock? Uh ... they wouldn’t. I mean, they might go their separate ways for short periods as life dictated, but even then, they would not be ‘broken up’. Even if Kirk fell in bed with various others, that doesn’t threaten the bond he has with Spock. Keeping in mind most of my shipping of them was before and without a sexual element between them.

Between 3 and 8, who would last the longest if they were in a zombie apocalypse?

So basically, would Hux last longer with Poe at his side or Rose? Gosh, that is so tough! I think Poe is more likely to do something stupid and get himself killed or infected before Rose would.

Does 7 hide their relationship, and if so, why?

[Darkpilot] Not in the fics I like most. In those, it’s sort of an ‘anything goes’ in the First Order interrogation unit and Kylo is free to do whatever he wants to those who fall into his clutches. Though I like best the idea that Poe turns the tables on the interrogation and seduces/distracts Kylo into fucking him instead of rummaging for the map. 

What is 9′s favourite date to go on?

[Drarry] Depends on the time period. But most often, they travel somewhere far away, where Harry’s not the Boy Who Lived and Draco isn’t a Malfoy. They’re just a couple boys (or young men) exploring the world and each other. Of course, they rarely get this, but it would be their favorite if they could.

What’s your favourite canon moment between 10?

[Destiel] Keeping in mind I bailed from Supernatural around season 5 ... I think I most liked Castiel’s big entrance with the wings, and the later times when he was trying to be human and failing, and Dean was left trying to explain or cover for him. All the deep plot stuff was unimportant. I **love** fish-out-of-water trope and different cultural backgrounds making characters stumble in interactions.

What do 5 argue most about?

[Petrellicest] Nathan’s career and Peter’s failure to support the family legacy.

If you had to pick an OTP which would you chose?

Kirk x Spock.

What’s the biggest kink that 1 shares?

[Kylux] Both of them want to have someone angry at them and then have it turn out okay. So they set each other off or push too hard so they can have that relief when they are still loved after acting out. I don’t know what that’s called in the kink world.

Do 8 want children?

[Hux x Rose] I think they’d make really good parents, but I doubt either of them want to bring kids into the world. (I mean, I think Rose would happily bring Finn’s kids into the world, but Hux’s ... there’s so much baggage there.)

Between 10 and 4, which would you rather became canon?

Destiel and Petlar. Wow. I guess Destiel, because it’s why I left Supernatural. The way the show was written just struck me as baiting. When it was clear to me they were basically recycling plots and NEVER going to move forward on the relationships, I exited. With Petlar, I was happy enough with how that resolved in canon.

Does 2 do much PDA? And does it annoy their friends?

Reylo - Yes, and a lot. And sometimes they do it JUST to annoy their friends. Both of them would fuck on the ramp of the Falcon if they thought they needed to. Absolutely shameless. (This assumes their relationship is known.)

Which of the ships would you say is the most romantic with each other?

That’s impossible to say except: ‘not darkpilot’ and probably not Petrellicest. Everyone else is as romantic as their personalities allow.

How would the proposal between 5 go?

[Petrellicest] Given that they’re brothers ... LOL! Actually I’ve read a bunch of fics with that basic premise (and written one). Most of the stories have Nathan as being possessive and extorting Peter into never being with anyone but Nathan. And then Nathan strings him along. It’s a very unhealthy dynamic. The story I linked works out very differently, but the Nathan character is Sylar/Gabriel struggling with his identity so I’m not sure it counts strictly as Petrellicest.

Who cooks more often in 3?

[Gingerpilot] Poe at first because Hux has never cooked anything more complicated than tea in his life. But later I could see Hux really getting into the culinary arts. There’s a precision involved in it and it’s very complex. Also, it’s ‘safe’ and new and something Poe enjoys, plus Hux doing it means Poe doesn’t have to do it for him all the time.
