A moment of silence.

This isn’t usually what I post, especially since I’m not an Aroha, but I’m moved to tears to do this. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Moonbin’s family and friends right now. My heart is truly breaking. Sua, Sanha, Jinjin, MJ, Rocky, Eunwoo, Seungkwan, SinB, Chanwoo, his family, we’re all thinking of you. I hope everyone respects their privacy and their need to grieve, and I also hope we are all able to celebrate his beautiful life and all that he was, and all that he gave to it. Kind, gentle, incredibly talented, I can’t imagine what could’ve happened that got him to get to this point. My foundation feels shaken to its core.

Moonbin-ah, I hope you know how much you were loved, and how sorely you shall be missed. You have left a beautiful legacy behind you, and yet it was nothing compared to all you could’ve done. You remain in our hearts and our memories. You were wonderful.

It's funny at best, how many Kpoppies and a portion of the Korean press refuse to acknowledge BTS's power, fame, and success, and the fact that HYBE wouldn't exist without BTS. They also love to ignore the fact that all the artists under HYBE don't report the same profits and commercial success as BTS, either as a group or individually.

Yes, several of them do really well, but not at BTS's level. And that's a fact that doesn't need to be denied and is hard to refute. So I don't understand why they do it.

It's also amusing how kpoppies simply refuse to acknowledge things like the rap line being one of the best, if not the best, in the industry. How J-Hope and Jimin are better dancers than most. How Jungkook is one of the best vocalists in the industry, etc. It's quite hilarious when they make lists or rankings about this and don't include any BTS members.

Like, are they afraid to acknowledge it? Or do they think they're better for not doing so?

And another thing...

Korean news media hyping how BTS has continued to release content with no gap even while enlisted in the military.

Yonhap News.

KBS News.

"Is this BTS' military service?" astounded, like... what kind of military service is this where the members are still active while they are enlisted??

They've even coined a new term to describe it: Rubber Shoe Content.

Apparently this sort of thing has not been done before, at least not to this extent, when an idol group is on break fulfilling their military obligation and release things for the fans while they are away.

"They are creating a new activity model to fill the gap with so-called 'rubber shoe content' for fans waiting for BTS, from music videos and entertainment documentary films to offline events."

The planning that had to have occurred and length of time it took for all of this to be produced... BTS and their staff, along with their agency BigHit and the resources available to them via Hybe, were able to carry out this extensive effort so that we would continually have things to look forward to while they are away. They worked hard before enlisting for us.

And we know more is coming! Wait until K-news sees Jimin and Jungkook doing MMA in their sleep!!
