I don't know if you know this, or maybe the lesbian masterdoc has been changed, but it has been criticized pretty heavily for calling a lot of things evidence that you're a lesbian when actually bisexual women can relate to many of the things in the doc. So it's supposedly not a good source for figuring out if you're a lesbian. I know you said it helped you figure out you were bi, so this isn't directed at you but I think other women should know and not rely on it too much.

I didn't know this honestly!

Mine was more a joke than anything else tbh... I ended up just figuring out that I can be attracted to both women and men and nb people too in my life and I'm sure about that.. the masterdoc was just a little plus, but thank you for letting me know!! :)

picking apart the comphet and cishetnormativity you've been taught is fucking HARD. plus it's frustrating thinking about how non of us asked to be born into instant ingraining of misogynist bullshit. but deeply rewarding as you become more actualized in yourself and your sexuality/sexual self. reading the lesbian masterdoc was a turning point in realizing I don't want to have sex or romance with men (or anyone subscribing to similar ideals).

I don't identify as a lesbian partly because I'm trans and agender, and partly just because "queer" feels much better as a label. but a lot of the masterdoc was still helpful and applicable to me. I can recognize that I want to prioritize sexual, romantic and every type of relationship with women, now. feels like a huge tension in me is slowly releasing.

some of you just can’t fathom the reality of being bisexual and capable of loving men & women. some of you read the ‘lesbian’ masterdoc, which i could shove down every woman’s throat and i’d guarantee you they could relate to it, and are now trying to tell women who are bisexual that actually no, you wanting to fuck willy wonka is actually a huge sign of being a lesbian because he’s fake! Like……some of you are actually idiotic. Bisexuality is literally in your face but no! bisexuality is invalid, bisexuality is hard to explain…….seriously? you can date women and never touch a man and still be bisexual. The masterdoc literally says that marrying a man could bring you comfort but you could still be a lesbian !……Anyways a whole lot of those ‘lesbians’ that use that bright colored lesbian flag always have the most bisexual way of explaining their sexuality and it’s so sad to see people so in denial, so confused, and so delusional. i’m so glad i woke up bc i know it’s exhausting having to explain that every crush on a celebrity male or fictional male is still not a sign of OSA….LOL

Citing the lesbian masterdoc is crazzzyyy like now I KNOW you’re not a lesbian.

If you need to cite a document made by a bisexual to prove something about lesbianism then you’re simply not a lesbian lmfao. Imagine needing a document to add “validity” to your sexuality instead of just simply being a woman who is attracted to women exclusively.

Compulsory heterosexuality isn’t real. You jumping from having sex with males to having sex with women does not mean you’re a lesbian.
