Oh I really don’t want megumi to feel responsible for anything 😭

That is so true 😭 It makes me think about that "love is the most twisted curse" thing again. Megumi seems to get punished for the things he does out of love. He saved Yuuji’s life because he couldn’t stand the thought of a good person like Yuuji dying. But keeping Yuuji alive lead to all the following mess. And then later on, Megumi refused to leave Yuuji’s side even when Yuuji told him to stay away because as long as he is close to Megumi, Megumi will be in danger. But Megumi wanted to protect Yuuji and show him he wasn’t alone and wasn’t a monster… and that lead to the very thing happening that Yuuji had been scared about: Sukuna attacking Megumi and taking over his body 😭

It's so tragic, so sad, how something that was done out of love causes all those bad things to happen!!

And now this role reversal!! Megumi was the one who reassured Yuuji and kept him from killing himself by telling him he wasn’t to blame for the deaths that Sukuna caused while using Yuuji's body. But will Megumi be able to apply the same to himself?

Plus it doesn't just make things harder for Megumi, but also for Yuuji. Now the guilt that Yuuji feels is even bigger because if he had just left on his own, Megumi would still be alright, Tsumiki could still be saved, and Gojo would still live. Sukuna would still be Yuuji’s burden to carry and not Megumi's 😭😭

Yuuji and Megumi are probably both blaming themselves.

But it also makes me think, what is going on inside Megumi's mind? How strong can love be? How long until you question yourself and decide it was a bad idea to let it influence your actions? How long until you think you should have never broken the rules and just let that pink-haired stranger get executed, even though he was so selfless and saved your life?

The irony is that Megumi never cared about humanity per se. He was all about only saving certain people, mostly the ones he cared about or deemed good. So I don't even think he would care that much about a thousand strangers dying, not like Yuuji does. The only thing that really gets to Megumi is when the few people he cares about get hurt. And now, he has lost two people he cared about, and they died because he refused to leave Yuuji's side even though he knew about the danger. So by saving one person he loves, he indirectly killed the two other people he loved.
