megumi was exhausted from school, training and so much more. the teenager’s patience was wearing thin. especially with satoru almost pressuring him into telling you both what’s weighing on his mind. when all he wants is to be left alone at the moment.

the tone satoru’s using to talk to megumi only pisses the high schooler off more and more. it’s fatherly. like he’s still the little child satoru took in and cared for. it pissed megumi off, along with everything else;

“you’re not my dad, so stop fucking acting like you are!”

you freeze. satoru freezes. megumi freezes. time freezes. the silence was deafening. no one was moving. your eyes flicker over to satoru’s and your heart shatters in a million pieces.

satoru’s hurt. so hurt. it’s visible and he’s not hiding it — not hiding it like he usually would behind a wide grin. his blindfold and glasses aren’t there to hide the way his face falls either.

“i know.” satoru whispers. his voice lost its cheery tone, his eyes have lost their spark. the sorcerer slowly distances himself from megumi. a bitter chuckle leaves his lips. a futile attempt to hide his shaky voice, “i know.”

all you could do is stand there in shock. megumi doesn’t know what to do after his little outburst either. and satoru. . . well, satoru is the first one out of the room. you hear his breath hitch as he walks past you. you see his eyes twitch. the strongest, in tears.

By the way, @staff is changing the video player and photo viewer on the mobile app to the one from Tumblr TV. As a result, they have made the abhorrent decision to remove an important accessibility feature in order to TikTok-ifying Tumblr. You can no longer zoom in on photos. Or so I thought. Because the visually impaired are now second-class users to the Tumblr Staff, they just decided to make it harder to zoom in on photos.

So, for all of you who, like me, find the pinch-to-zoom feature on Tumblr invaluable to read and view photos, you now have to:

Tap the Photo > Tap the “more” button in the description > tap the photo again

This will open the old photo viewer (for now, anyway) which was formerly one tap away. It will grant you all the former features of the old photo viewer, including the ability to zoom in.

EDIT: if you’re seeing this on your For You Dash or some other non-reblogged method you will see this edit. Before reblogging and commenting on this, there is addition information in the replies. I have replies disabled, so I am the only person who can add them. I’ve added addition info, as well as an update. Please read them. TLDR: many others, and myself, are now seeing it’s fixed. Many others are not. It may be a roll-out fix from the back-end. Be patient and wait to see if it’ll make its way to you.

That one scene from The Interview where eminem comes out but like. Rockstar!eddie

I mean. He probably orchestrated the whole thing himself since he loves the Drama of it. He waits patiently for the interviewer to ask him something along the lines of, what inspires your lyrics? And when he does Eddie shrugs, poker faced.

“Uhh, many things. Life, mostly. My friends, my husband, my family, Dungeons and Dragons… you know?”

The interviewer all but stops, and Eddie does his best not to laugh. This is live tv after all. He can vaguely hear people shouting from the poor guy’s earpiece.

“Let’s back up a little, what did mean by-“

“Dungeons and Dragons?” Eddie asks, feigning innocence. “Oh, it’s the fantasy storytelling game, with the dice. You must’ve heard of it, many people-“

“Not that,” the interviewer persists. “You said you had a husband?”

“Yeah?” Eddie replies, as if it’s the easiest thing in the world. “I’ve been married for the last four years.”

“To a guy.” The interviewer carefully clarifies.

“Yeah. I’m gay.”

More screaming through the earpiece. Eddie feels like bathing on the waves of satisfaction that are washing over him.

“I’m actually surprised no one figured this one sooner, I wasn’t exactly hiding it.” He continues.

The interviewer listens intently to someone talking in his ear. “So when you sang, take me to your place, stick it in my face, gonna sit here on my knees ‘till your crown falls on my head, you meant…”

“This is definitely about me giving oral sex to my dear, beautiful male husband, yup.” Eddie smiles. “I’ve been leaving, like, a gay breadcrumb trail for you to follow.”

Steve, waiting patiently in the green room, laughs so hard he has to crouch down on the floor. He’s proud of his husband, and happy he was finally ready to let the world truly know him, but Dustin’s horrified face and loud Ew, that’s way too much information will never not be hilarious to him.

The most common argument you'll hear against self diagnosis is that people will fake being [X] for attention. But every disabled person, physical or otherwise, knows this could only work in online spaces - the world was not made for us, and brandishing your disability as a badge of honor that gives you ~special privileges~ is such a funny idea.

Like, honey - that doesn't happen. No one gets anything from being disabled. Maybe extra accommodations if you're lucky - but nothing else. And the internet isn't as important as you seem to think - eventually it just feels hollow.

Ask disabled people how often they had to fight to get diagnosed so their medical needs could be met and their complaints would be heard. Doctors are just hardwired to delay this as much as possible.

I knew I was autistic since late 2018 - I got an official diagnosis 4 months ago. Knowing yourself and how you can make your own life easier is a lifesaver.

And this isn't even going into how many *cons* there are to a professional diagnosis, like being met with disdain at most and denied services at worst.

I don't care if a 16 year old who self diagnosed after taking 1 online quiz about autism is wrong. And honestly I think it's weird people treat this 'issue' with so much hatred.
