Cw: breasts, nipple play, lactation venti being obsessed with your chest
Venti is 100% a boobs man. He's the fucker who'll come up behind you to put his cold hands under your shirt to squeeze your breasts. Big or small, he doesn't care, he loves 'em all. he'll hold and play with your titties anytime and that's a threat. More utc
Tumblr media
He loooveees how soft and jiggly they are, sometimes giving them little pats to see them jiggle while giggling childishly about it. He knows how sensitive your nipples are, and it's a curse, he'll sometimes quickly brush over them "accidentally" when you're out together, just to see you squirm and get all shy. He'll sometimes even blow colder winds to your direction to see your nipples harden and perk up under your shirt.
You can't tell me Venti's fingers don't have calluses, and he definitely uses that to his advantage, teasing your nipples by rubbing his finger tips on them, he loves it when you jump a little at the sudden stimulation. Sometimes even pinching your buds a little indelicately to make you behave, if you disobey him or piss him off, making you cry out..
Don't even forget about him sucking on your breasts, he'll suck on them like he wants something to come out. Hopefully maybe someday you'll leak milk from your cute breasts for him to drink up until you're crying from overstimulation <3 he might even prefer your sweet milk over dandelion wine, pinning you down on your shared bed, exposing your chest to him, you'll be a good girl and let him drink your milk right? Don't want it to go to waste now be still, it's leaking enough already.. he might even quit going to the tavern, instead opting to get drunk on your milk and your cute cries until morning and until you have nothing left to give him <3
Since you have no milk at the moment, he might as well just pour wine on your breasts and drink that off of you until he does manage to make you lactate. Taking you to the back of the tavern upstairs, ripping your shirt open, he'll pour the cold alcohol on your sensitive bosom as you whine his name as quietly as you can manage while he runs his tongue all over them, digging his fingers into your soft flesh.
You'll probably have his hand prints on your breasts (or on most parts of your body) throught your relationship with him.

Shot for shot
Jealous Kaeya Alberich/gn!vision wielder!reader
Rating: T
Requested by: N/a
Word count: 1182
Short fic inspired by @electrosair from their post "Jealous headcanons anemo + cryo ver."
Notes: hi hope u dont mind this!! I got really inspired by the kaeya section and well the writing gods just had to possess me :,) this was supposed to be a drabble but then I blinked and I hit 1k words
~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~
You and Kaeya were shot for shot so far. Bar hopping in Mond was a treat for you, even if it was a little more regular for your boyfriend. Unfortunately, your daily habits did not lend themselves well to a constant stupor.
But every so often, for a special evening of fun, Kaeya would dress the both of you in your favourite clothes and whizz you out the door for a night on the town.
The Angel's Share was your last stop for the night. You'd already said hi to Diona and many of the other working bartenders at your regular places, and now Charles was setting the two of you up with a special limited time new flavour of dandelion wine.
You watched as he poured the ingredients into two tall glasses, vision swimming as you watched green pearlescent liquid swirl in to mix with the wine. You smile dopily at it, swinging your head loosely around to look at your partner. "Babe look it's like. It's like Venti," you giggle out. "It's green and sparkly."
Kaeya, just as plastered as you, snorts out a laugh into the back of his hand. "I'll say. Contains just the right amount of wine, too."
You turn back to Charles. "Has Venti had one of these yet?"
He tops off your glasses and pushes them towards you, moving on to collect other empty glasses from patrons around the bar adjacent to them. "No," he thinks, "but I'll tell him you recommend it next time he comes in."
You shrug, drunkenly content with that answer. This was only released within the last few days, and it wasn't like the bard was at the Angel's Share every night. Taking the glass, you take a gulp of the drink.
To say it's new is an understatement. You have no idea what kind of things Diluc was experimenting with, but this topped anything he'd ever done. The ice in the bottom kept it chilly as sweet wine, a hint of Mondstat's sweet mint, a little side of lime, and something just distinctly flavoured as green slides down your tongue. It's a refreshing taste after the last bar, which was arguably one of the cheapest ones in town.
A sound makes its way out of your mouth, unsure in it's own sound if it's some kind of moan, warble, or drunken hiccup.
You blink. Wiping your mouth, you can't help but giggle. "Sorry Charles, I'm really drunk and that is going to be a smash hit."
When you look back at your boyfriend, he's staring at you, but not at your face, mouth open in soft wonder, eyes dancing in a glinting light.
"Kaeya? What's wrong?"
"Your vision..." he responds softly. You look over to where it's attached to you. It's glowing a faint light, not quite enough to rival the firelight from the torches, but enough to ad a coloured hue. The other patrons in the bar hush down to look at what's making the light.
After a moment, the wave of drunk from taking another sip passes and the light fades back to nothingness.
You stare at your vision, head swimming with too much inebriation to make any sense of what just happened.
The two of you look at Charles. He glances between the both of you, but shrugs. "We've never had anyone with a vision try it yet."
You scan yourself up and down. "Well..." you meet Kaeya's eyes to reassure him. "I don't feel any different. Not bad, just drunk." You give him a sloppy thumbs up, elbow supported up by the table.
Kaeya shakes his head at you, smiling. You can hear his amusement in his voice, "I'll try that next, but I gotta hit the head before I give it a shot." He runs a hand over your hair that lazily slides down your cheek before he gets up and goes to find the bathroom.
As he does so, a large group of patrons exit the bar for the night, so Charles picks up his empty plate tray and swings his towel over his shoulder. "Holler if you need anything," he says, and you swivel your thumbs up towards him.
He leaves the bar to collect the glasses and trays, and as he does so you turn to ponder your drink.
Your thoughts space out, mingling images of Venti's happy, laughing face and what his thoughts would be on this drink, shifting over to Kaeya, his hands on your face, resting against him at the bar, and—
"Excuse me?" You jolt up, focus broken from the still slowly swirling beverage in front of you.
"Can I help you?" You direct your gaze towards them. It's a man, a young man, with windswept brown hair dressed in the knight's uniform. His cheeks are rosy, but clearly he has more of his wits about him than you.
Not that you couldn't hold your own against him, regardless. But he didn't seem to know that.
He sits down in Kaeya's seat to look at you.
"I saw your vision when it started glowing. That was really cool."
You turn and give him a smile. At least he's friendly. "Thanks! I got it from doing things." You give him your best serious wobbly nod and he chuckles at you.
"Well, anyway, I'm Browen."
"Nice to meet you Browen, I'm [___]".
He smirks at you, taking your answer as an invitation to continue. "I have a vision myself you know."
Your eyebrows raise. "Really?" You glance around his form, but don't spot the framed crystal anywhere.
"Yeah," he says, "I keep it at home because I'm not supposed to wear it around the other knights." He leans close to you, putting his hand up to his mouth like he's sharing a secret. "They get jealous." He winks over at the table where his knight companions are more focused on their own drink and camaraderie than on whatever was happening here.
"I could take you home, show it to you," he prompts, and you feel disappointment rush through you. Of course he's a liar who just wants to get into your pants because you have a vision. You need to tell Jean to whip these men into better shape.
"What would you like to show us, Browen?" A hand claps hard onto the knight's shoulder as a familiarly sultry voice soothes your agitated nerves. The man shoots up straight, expression changing to one like a dog caught stealing.
He stands up, stumbling over himself to get back to his original table. "N-nothing, Captain. Sorry to bother you."
You sigh as he leaves, tension flooding out of you. "That's more like it."
"Come on, love." Kaeya swings his arms around your shoulders and tosses coin on the table for Charles when he returns.
"Where are we going? We're not going to finish?" You glance up at him, your shoulders at his rib level.
The hand around your arm squeezes as he ducks down to whisper in your ear, "oh, I think my home private show is going to remain private."

Genshin men as cat dads because I’m sick right now and bored
Diluc: best cat dad. He is a walking heating pad so the cats follow him around waiting to swoop onto any unoccupied thigh or foot permanently binding him to the chair. He also is the kind to pick up a mischievous kitty and pepper them with kisses because they’re too cute to be mad at. Any kitty no matter how thin they were before their care will become a plump beast in days of staying at the winery. Not only will Adelinde be spoiling him but Diluc is weak to their cute little meows and pleading eyes even if its their second dinner.
Thoma is just the perfect animal dad. He’s such a ray of sunshine that even the most terrified and scared kitty ends up warming up to him and cuddling beside his thigh.
Itto the kind of cat dad who probably takes in a orphaned kitten thus turning them into a overly clingy and playful cat. You bet that cat isa hefty one too and is well fed. Such a well loved and plump kitty
Lyney would be a literal cat dad. He probably has a better understanding of cats than anyone else to the point where it is like a genuine child to him he’s taking care of. He probably attracts tons of cats.
Pantalone would spoil his kitty rotten. Likely a purebred white cat to lay on his lap for him to pet like a cartoon villain. But cats aren’t always serious and often are foils to their owners. So i think it would be funny if his kitty was more needy and playful than one might expect. It pats at his jewelry or loose hair. It meows rudely when it wants food. Still he keeps the little guy. If anything their defiance of normal cat behavior is amusing and entertaining to a man who hardly leaves his office. Besides, nothing is better than sitting at his desk with a purring kitty laying on his paperwork giving him a much needed break to gently stroke their fur.
Neuvillete in my humble opinion, has a weakness for small and big eyed critters. Especially ones with pure hearts or simple minds. From the adorable and sweet melusines to the mischievous but sweet cats. Its rare he gets to stop and pet a cat but if he does see one on his way to work he will pet it at least once. My personal idea is that his dangling clothes and fabrics would attract a playful and persistent little kitty who would follow him everywhere until they had to be kicked out of the courtroom. But he can’t bare to kick them out so he simply puts them in a room and brings them home later. He knows cats can handle themselves, but he can’t resist the adoring eyes of such a small creature that meows at him for something.
i hope you have been feeling better since you sent this ask, anon!!! thinking about all of the genshin men and the cat dads has me smiling silly... if i may add some more thoughts;
alhaitham tries to take absolutely perfect care of his cat; nutritional meals and scheduled playtimes and such. unfortunately, kaveh is a Spoiler and so the kitty that lives with them becomes an entitled little creature meowing at all hours and desperate and needy for snuggles and love whenever either of the two are around. alhaitham ends up accepting this because how can you say no to that little face!!!
venti attracts cats he is certain because he is allergic; mostly he can manage to hide from them, but there's this one incredibly persistent little orange who seems to have imprinted upon him who can find him no matter where he is . . . and diluc of the angel's share takes great pleasure in allowing it into the tavern to rub along venti's legs and purr and sit beside his dandelion wine on the table.
wriothesley cannot keep an animal because of the conditions of the fortress, but that doesn't mean he doesn't love them. he's more of a dog person than a cat person, but he has a soft spot for older streetwise alley cats with missing eyes and a limp and gives . . . rather a lot of money to animal charities within the court of fontaine.

As Your Divine Punishment Dear - I
Fem!Dom!Reader + Sub!Venti Warnings: femdom, degrading, handcuffs and uh yeah that's it Can be read where the reader has a dick
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Another one please!" Venti cheered asking for another glass of his typical favorite dandelion wine.
Even if though it was his 24th glass, you on the other hand had your arms crossed as you had your head stooped low, eyes closed hiding the fact that he broke your promise of limiting his glass of wine up to 10 glasses.
Diluc looked over to you with a sad face, "Hey! That's mhy wife yhour looking at..!" Venti slurred his words, too drunk to even comprehend what's going on.
"Ugh.. I'm having a headache.." you suddenly spoke up, as you place your hand on your head.
"Eh?? Windblhume waht happenedh did someoneh hurt you??" Venti asked concerned, which resulted you placing your gaze upon him.
Venti had the "oh shit" face, you stood up and gave Diluc your bag of mora and thanked him and carried your husband back to your home.
You soon entered your home as you locked your door and carried him to your shared bedroom.
You pushed him down the bed as you got up and went towards the drawer to grab something.
Venti on the other hand was too drunk to comprehend what's going on, he breathed heavily but however what he does know is that he was about to receive punishment, but he didn't even bother stopping you.
You finally got what you wanted and walked towards him, "Are you okay with this?" he nodded as you pulled on his ribbon that held his cape and took off his hat.
You unbuttoned his shirt as you kissed on his chest and neck leaving marks, he whimpered at the gesture and held onto your hair silently begging for you to do more.
You pulled back as he whined at the loss as you put your knee in between his legs as he moaned at the action.
You then stood up and took off the remains of your clothes leaving you with your shorts/panties and bra, you then get the strap as you went in the harness.
Slowly climbing back into the bed, you caressed his cheek and gave him a kiss on the forehead, he whimpered at the little gesture and proceeded to whine for more.
You were taking off his shorts and boxers while bringing your face closely to him as you kissed him, he returned the favor.
You teased his tip as he whined, he would often pull away to breathe but even in his drunken gaze he knew what he wanted and it was to get ruined by you, no matter how many hours pass by.
You pulled away, staring into his breathless expression and putting every detail in your mind.
"M-mommy..! Please.." he managed to speak, "Oh? Please what? Speak whore." you reply back in a stern manner, your stoic demeanor making him squirm against the sheets.
"P-please.. I need you.. I want you-!" he moaned and grinded his hips onto the air, begging about nothing else besides you fucking into him.
You couldn't wait longer as you finally inserted your dick into him, fucking him in a slow pace and then slowly speeding up.
Venti could feel his orgasm building up, "hah~ m-mommy I-I'm gonna- I'm gonna-" and just like that he splurted his cum on his stomach.
You smiled softly, gently caressing his stomach and taking his seed and putting it in your mouth.
Delighted by the taste you then flipped him over, his stomach facing the sheets.
He squeaked in surprise as he felt your fingers caress across his stomach until it went up and up til..
He moaned so loudly, the things he was feeling tonight were overwhelming, your hand on his nipple, you fucking into him in a fast pace, your free hand holding his hand as he forcefully grabs the sheets.
He wanted you to punish him even harder, you are his goddess and he was just nothing. The thought of you calling him a "bitch in heat" was still lingering in his mind until now.
He wanted you to know that he is your pet, and you are his master and he can't bear to leave you.
"You are such a whore~ are you like this to all the women in the tavern~?" you suddenly spoke, not stopping to give Venti a break.
"N-no mommy.. only for you.. o-only a whore f-for mommy.." he stuttered out too far gone, only focused with one goal.
"My~ such good boy you are~" you let go of his nipple and went over to his lips, as you caressed them and put your fingers into his mouth.
He gagged on them but continued to suck on them like the good boy he is.
He came for his second orgasm as his body shook slightly as he whimpered, he looked like he didn't want anymore but he was silently begging you punish him further.
Fortunately you were able to see through him and decided to give him he wants before this night.
"Venti.. dear..!" you spoke, your voice sweet like candy. Oh how he wishes he would taste your mouth again.
You flipped him over again, his back facing the sheets once again.
"Do you wish to continue? And are you sure you wish to approach the hole you've made and dig even deeper this time?" he could only respond with a nod.
"Use your words, slut." your voice slightly louder than last time.
"Y-yes I w-wish t-to c-continue-!" he was too far gone to even speak, he was crying due to the overstimulation, you wiped his tears away and kissed his cheek.
"Very well then, however if you do wish to stop then please say the word 'stop' please I do not wish to hurt you any longer." you spoke your voice full of sorrow, however while leaning down on him, he grabbed your head and kissed you, once again tasting that candy feeling in your mouth.
You both pulled away for air and took off the 'scrunchie' on your arm and put it over his eyes.
You then leaned forward to grab something that was on Venti's hat, which of course is a vibrator.
You put it inside him and turned it on, he moaned at that while you were thrusting into him.
Also you never needed to worry about the vibrator being stuck, there is a string attached to the vibrator and the remote.
You had some handcuffs on you and decided to put it on him, tying his hands onto the headboard.
"You're doing so well~ so well~ oh~ you're so pretty like this~ so so pretty~ oh~ you're perfect~ so perfect~" you kept giving him praises as kept moaning and whining, there were tears in his eyes as you wiped them off and reassured him.
"Shh.. it's okay my dear you're doing well.. so well for me.. oh~ so good~" you softly moaned while pounding into him, he's doing so well for you.
He came for his third orgasm as he whimpered, while caressing him and reassuring him.
"This night is not over yet dear~ why don't we do a few more rounds before we end this night hm?" Venti was too far gone, even you took off the blindfold and handcuffs for him.
He was breathing heavily, he then lifted his hand to remove your bra. You then knew what he wanted and proceeded to bring your chest close to his face.
He instantly got sucked on your nipples like a good boy he is and is now sticking onto you.
"Mmm.. so tasty.." he mumbled while sucking and licking on your nipples.
You kept whispering praises to him and caressing him, you see him as fragile and small and wish to protect him forever.
He's yours to hold and you're his to serve, he sees this as great dynamic as he loves you and worships you.
You love everything about him and you're glad that you get to be with him, forever.
He stopped sucking on your nipples and proceeded to look at you with a pleading face, as you went down and down until you come face to face with his dick.
You licked the tip as he whimpered, and then you took him whole as he moaned almost to the point where he screamed.
He grabbed your hair begging you for more as he moaned, "mommy mommy mommy~ pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease~ ah~" he was crying.
He came for his fourth orgasm in your mouth as you swallow it, 'oh~ how the taste is so delightful~!' you thought as you stood up and pushed him on the bed once again.
You then spread his legs open and took out the vibrator, having a good view of his hole.
"Such a delicacy~" you licked your lips as you teasingly licked his hole, he silently bit his lip preventing a whine going out of his mouth.
You then proceeded to eat him out as he desperately tried to close his legs but your hands were refraining him from doing so.
You bit, licked and kissed his hole, it was overwhelming for him to handle.
He was breathless as he felt his orgasm building up for the fifth time.
And then he came once again, you decided end this night with one more round.
You then took off your undergarments as you were bare infront of him.
You then lifted him up to kiss him as he returned the favor, putting his hand behind your head to keep you in place.
You then aligned your entrance to his tip and slowly put yourself on him as he softly moaned in the kiss.
You then grinded your hips against him as he pulled away for air and cry.
You again reassured and whispered praises to him as if this was both your last moments.
"M-mommy~ I'm gonna- I'm gonna- ah~" he finally came inside you as he whimpered and laid his head on your shoulder as he fell asleep.
"Oh? Tired already? Well that's fine dear.." you spoke as you laid him down the bed and kissed his cheek.
"Good night, Venti." as you grabbed the blanket and you put over yourselves as you hugged him.

Little Brother
wc: 1.5k
chr: brief venti, kaeya, diluc
sum: Diluc sees a familiar face at his workplace while unwillingly in a deep lee mood.
dni luckae shippers 💀 this isnt 4 u
Tumblr media
Diluc furrowed his eyebrows as he spilled yet another drink he was trying to serve to a customer, grabbing a cloth and wiping down the small spill, giving the filled drink to the man who was patiently waiting for it. Diluc watched as he left, looking down at the cloth he had just put in his hand. It had wine all over it.
For the whole day, only one thing has been on Diluc’s mind: His lee mood. The big and scary muscular man, Diluc Ragnvindr, was knee deep in a lee mood and he had no idea how to shoo it away. He did know one way, and that’s asking for it, but he’s absolutely not asking anyo—
“Diluuuuc~!”
The redhead snapped out of his own mind when he heard a familiar bard’s voice, and the ring of the bell that rang every time someone opened the main door. Venti sat down onto his usual seat, the one at the very right of Diluc, and winked at him. “My usual, please!”
Diluc nodded, turning around and grabbing a bottle of Dandelion Wine. He went back to the counter and opened the bottle, pulling a cup towards him and pouring it in. Once again, he started to zone out at the thought of someone’s fingers creeping up from his hips to his underarms and scribbling back down, or someone squeezing his thighs and teasing him about how hard he’s laughing..Or—
“Diluc!”
Venti called for him and interrupted his thoughts again, looking down and seeing yet another spill made from his distraction. Why does this keep happening?
“Diluc..are you okay? You weren’t responding to me at all and your face got really red. Are you drunk yourself? Diluc, are you finally coming to terms about how amazing wine is?! I knew you’d come around!” Diluc sighed and shook his head. “I’m fine, bard. Just a little hot.”
Another ring from the door had caught Diluc’s attention, him frowning a bit when he saw who it was. Kaeya sat down next to a slightly tipsy Venti and rested his hand on his cheek.
“Hello, dear brother. Long time no see, hm? I need to come here more often, I’m sure..” Diluc turned to the bottles to get Kaeya’s usual, pouring it in fine (thank the lords, Kaeya wouldn’t have let that go past him) and handing it to him. “There.”
“Ah, thank you. I didn’t think you would remember.” Diluc scoffed. “Like you don’t come here every week and ask for the same thing.” Kaeya laughed and took a sip of his drink. “Why so mean, Diluc? I just want to come visit my brother and see how he’s doing! Lighten up a bit.” Kaeya emphasized his point with a poke to his side, Diluc jumping with a gasp.
Venti, thankfully, had his eyes closed and probably wasn’t listening. Kaeya, in fact, was. “Aha, I forgot that worked on you. I thought you would’ve grown out of it by now, I suppose not.” Diluc’s face got redder and he crossed his arms, huffing out a quiet “shut up”.
Kaeya stood up and cocked an eyebrow, leaning over the counter a little. “What was that?” Diluc stepped back slightly, moving his hair from his eyes. “Nnnothing.” He looked to the side, hearing Kaeya chuckle at him. “Now I know how to put you in your place, mm?”
Diluc and Kaeya both looked up in unison, hearing a clock chime from outside. The clock usually meant Diluc was off of his shift and that the winery was closed, so he grabbed his bag and woke Venti to leave.
“Brother.” Diluc turned around, removing his hand from the door handle. “Will you go on a walk with me? We used to all the time, I thought we could reminisce for a little.” Diluc turned back and looked at the door handle, thinking for a moment. He looked back up at Kaeya and nodded. “Sure.”
Kaeya’s eyebrows rose, not expecting Diluc to agree and assuming he would just walk away. He smiled softly, walking towards him. “Let’s go, then.”
Diluc sat on a rock next to Kaeya, admiring the large tree in front of them at Windrise. Kaeya looked over at Diluc and smiled. “Remember when we would sit at this very tree and talk about anything that was ever on our mind?” Diluc nodded silently, still staring at the tree that had beared so many memories of their childhood.
Of course, as his lee mood was still there, he had to think about the times he and Kaeya had their tickle fights. Diluc would usually win, but sometimes he let Kaeya win. Right now, if they were having one, Kaeya would have absolutely won. He misses when Kaeya would pin him down after they wrestled and dug into his ribs or blew a raspberry through his thin shirt on his stomach, not realizing that his face was once again getting redder by the second.
“What did you miss?” Diluc’s head shot up, staring at Kaeya with wide eyes. “Nothing!” Kaeya smiled and moved towards him, Diluc flushing even more. “No, no. You said something, I know you did.”
Diluc shook his head but gasped loudly when he felt a hand rest on his side. “Oh, no.” he said to himself internally, but he knew his brain was going “Oh, yes.”
Kaeya grinned evilly and walked two fingers up his side, Diluc’s breath hitching. He was as silent as he could be, furrowing his eyebrows at Kaeya. “What did you say, Diluc?” He gently dug into the spot just under his ribs, getting a little yelp out of his brother. “Nn..nohothing.”
Kaeya chuckled. Diluc knew he was dead by the tone of voice Kaeya had. “Well, if you’re not going to say it..” The cryo user immediately pounced onto the pyro user, digging his fingers into his stomach. Diluc coughed out a squeal, breaking quickly and letting the dam of breathy giggles out.
“Kaha- Kahahaeya!” He attempted to cover his face, but was quickly stopped by a hand grabbing both of his wrists and pinning them under their knees. Oh, god, no.
Kaeya grinned as he vibrated into his stomach, snaking his hands under his shirt and scritching at his navel. Diluc snorted and tried to squirm his way out to no avail, his loud laughter only fueling Kaeya.
“You’re still as ticklish as you were when we were young, I see! I don’t know how anyone sees you as scary when you’re so sensitive..” Diluc’s face only flushed a brighter red as his laughter increased..Kaeya knew teasing always got to him. Diluc let out a shriek when his ribs were attacked from under his shirt, arching his back up and crashing it back down when it made it tickle even worse.
“KahaHAahaeyaha! PlehehEAHASE!” Kaeya blew a small raspberry on Diluc’s stomach. “Please, what?” Diluc tried to flip Kaeya off with his hands under his knees, but it didn’t work so well. Kaeya still got the point, though.
“Oh, how rude!” Kaeya immediately jumped to his highest rib, making Diluc scream and cackle, thrashing even harder. This was incredibly embarrassing, but it was exactly what he wanted all day.
The rough tickling turned to soft as Kaeya swirled a finger gently around his navel. “Dear brother, would you like to say what you said now? I heard you miss something, I just want to know.” Diluc giggled softly at the tickling and looked up at Kaeya, teary eyed. He completely forgot what this was for. “N..Nohoho..”
Kaeya sighed exaggeratedly, positioning his fingers over Diluc’s underarms. “Your funeral, then!” He giggled as he dug into the hollows of his arms, making Diluc let out the loudest shriek he’s let out yet and going silent.
“KAHAHAHAEYAHAHAA!” He screamed out, thrashing and shaking his head, ruining his usually pretty and fluffy hair. Kaeya only dug harder. “Hey, you shouldn’t be able to talk right now!” And not talk he did. He only went silent, and after a few seconds Kaeya went back to soft tickles, this time on his underarms.
“I’m running out of time to tickle you, since you have stamina and all. Pleaaase?” He gave Diluc the best puppy eyes he could. Diluc sighed in the middle of his hysteric giggles. “Fihihine.” Kaeya removed his hands from his underarms, setting them on his lap. Diluc was still giggling.
“Ihihi- Ihi missed it whehen you uhum, did, thehe thing.” Kaeya cocked an eyebrow. “The thing?” Diluc nodded. “Yohou just did ihit.” Kaeya’s expression went from realization to adoration.
“Diluc, that’s the cutest thing I’ve ever heard.” He got off of Diluc, letting him sit up and regain his composure. “Shuhut up..” Diluc yawned, leaning up to a rock. Kaeya moved closer to him, wrapping his arms around Diluc hesitantly and putting his head on his shoulder.
Usually, Diluc would push him away and scoff if he ever tried to hug him. This time, he felt Diluc melt into him. He yawned again, closing his eyes.
“Is it okay if I sleep here? With you?” Kaeya softly questioned.
“Yes, it’s fine. Now shut up and let me sleep.”
Kaeya laughed. He feels like a little brother again.

: In which you do not condone Venti's detrimental drinking habits one bit. However, with the way he touches and showers you with ardent affection after every drinking sessions, you just can't help but to forgive his propensity.
And just like how you easily find reasons to forgive his flaws, he too finds it easy to love you under moonlit nights.
Venti/Reader (Romantic)
No pronouns are used in this ficlet. (Though there is the use of "beautiful" to describe the reader.)
Tags: kisses, established relationship, domestic fluff, midnight conversations, drunken conversations (venti), love confessions, words of affirmation, physical touch.

"You have no idea how much I love you."
You stare curiously at Venti who lays beside you. He is positioned on his side, fervorly gazing into your eyes, cheek puffed on the pillow.
His eyes are half-lidded, intoxicated in drowsiness and a barrel's worth of dandelion wine.
"Even I love you fails to convey how I truly feel at this point. For me to be so smitten, you must be love itself."
You try your best to obscure your smile—and your laugh. Ah, there he goes again.
He notices your struggle and turns into a laughing mess himself, covering his eyes with the back of his palm. You break, following suit with his laughter.
"Oh, come on! I was being honest." He looks at you accusingly.
"I know. You do this every time, Ven."
"How can I not?" he whines. "My mind doesn't let me rest for the night until I've ensured that I've said everything that needs to be said that day."
"But you do this every time you get drunk," you say. "And you're drunk about ninety percent of the time."
"Ten percent sobriety is a lot!"
"For a wine goblin like you."
He huffs through his nose, annoyed, but does not debate with you any further. Instead, he buries his face on your collarbone. His breaths feel warm on the skin.
His hand finds its way to your upper back, his fingers atop to frame your shoulder. You can't help but giggle at his drunken antics.
"Whatever you say, wine goblin lover," he mumbles. Then he remains motionless and silent for the longest time.
Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
Tick. Tock.
Tick.
You think he's finally fallen asleep. How very Venti of him.
You attempt to rise from your bed to change his sleeping position to a more comfortable one, but you yelp as you are pulled back the moment you rise an inch.
He moves his face closer to your shoulder and plants a kiss. Oh, so he wasn't sleeping.
"Let's stay like this. Please bear with my drunken state a little longer, love."
You laugh again, devoid of prior playfulness and instead filled with adoration. "No matter how long you want me to stay, I will."
He stays still once again, aside from the rise and descent of his chest.
The curtains flutter with the outside wind, allowing the moonlight to peek through the window grilles.
The bedroom is entirely illuminated in silver and blue, from the photo frame that contains your wedding photo to the discarded pouch near the door that you could not keep due to how busy you were tending to your lover priorly.
Your gaze falls beyond the window towards the expanse of the night sky.
Is it just you, or do night skies always look brighter when your lover is beside you?
Venti opens his eyes to see your face basked in the moon, and he could have sworn all the wind left his lungs.
The first time Venti witnessed the moon in its full glory was when he was but a tiny spirit lost in the woods. He had yet to even understand the concept of beauty, nor did he have a clue on what the name of the mysterious glowing ball was.
and yet, as if it was nature to his soul—the way he was easily drawn to how the moon unleashed the acme of beauty in all things.
You are no exception. In truth, Venti thinks you are the most beautiful person to ever exist under the moonlight.
"You are so beautiful."
You turn back to him. His fingers tuck a stray hair to the back of your ear then let his palm rest on your cheek.
"The more we share eventide moments like this, the more I am inclined to believe I am not just in love with you anymore. You are love itself."
He slowly reduces the space between your faces until your noses touch in the proximity.
Heavens, how he could stare into your eyes and drown in them alone. That would make a merciful way to die.
"You have completely, irreversibly rewritten my definition of love."
He closes the space in-between and kisses you ever-so-gently. Venti's way of affection is an ardent procedure;
It is evident in the way he is gentle as he caresses your cheek, the way he lets out a soft moan when your hand feels the skin underneath his shirt, and the way he does not want to part from your lips, leaving you wanting more.
There are countless things he wishes he could say, before the imminent comes to take you away from him.
"My definition of love is the way your eyes reflect the moonlight. I'm holding you like this, and you're looking at me as if I'm the only person in this world."
"I think we should close the windows."
"My definition of love is the way my heart sunders into smithereens when tears fall on your face. You have been through so much, you cried alone too many times and no one even noticed."
"Haa... you're closer to it anyway, just shut it already."
"I wish I could have your pain, so then you would not need to feel as if you are alone in this world. I do not want you to feel as if you have no one to turn to in times when you need a shoulder to cry on the most."
"Wow, so bossy. When and where did you pick up such a displeasing attitude?"
"When you spoil me so much, you should have already expected this."
So just know, if I ever love again,
He huffs, smiling regardless.
"I love you. I hope the wind continues to tell you how much I do when I am no longer able to."
my definition of love is always you.

Dearest
Ft. Venti
Tumblr media
Who would've thought someone like me would be in love with the laziest God I've ever heard of?
But there's no stopping me now when even I didn't notice that I'm head-over-heels for him.
Venti, is what he goes by.
A normal bard—well not really— wandering in places, singing, drinking, performing.
He can be annoying, but that's what I love about him.
Every time he's drunk, I'm the one who always takes care of him by bringing him to my place.
Gladly enough; he doesn't get hangovers.
Oh, I could get used to it.
-
His body; he might not own it, but It's fine. Because even if he changes to someone hideous, I'll still love him.
-
Oh, how many days have I needed to build up the courage to confess to you?
I'm not afraid of getting rejected, for I know the reason behind it; you're the God of freedom, after all.
-
So now here I am, standing nervously by the tree you love to go to, waiting for you to arrive so I can finally remove the heavy feeling inside my chest.
I waited patiently.
-
"Y/N!"
"GAH!" You exclaimed out of shock, putting a hand over your rapidly beating heart.
He giggled and went to stand in front of you.
"Venti, you almost gave me a heart attack..." You whined."I felt my soul leave my body."
Slowly calming your breathing, Venti giggled again and said, "So, what does our little Y/N want that they have to call for me?", In a teasing tone.
"Venti, listen and listen CAREFULLY because I'm not going to repeat this." You said, seriously which Venti noted.
He smiled and waited for you to continue. Right now he feels all giddy inside, and he can't wait for you to say something but he composed himself- internally hoping that you would say you'll buy him some dandelion wine again, but by the expression on your face, it seems like it's not wine that's in your mind.
Taking a deep breath, you finally manage to use the courage you built up. "I love you, Venti." You said, looking straight into his eyes.
Venti stood there, his lyre on his right hand, wide-eyed and mouth slightly open.
He frowned.
You took this as a rejection, you look away, and as you were about to say something a sudden strong gust of wind flew by the both of you. (He farted/j)
You look back at him, seeing him smile sweetly at you.
"My dearest Y/N," he said opening his arms wide open, lyre now gone.
He tilted his head slightly, taking in your teary expression. "Come." He gestured with an open arm, his eyes half-lidded as he stared at you with a smile.
You launched forward to his arms, burying your face onto his chest, and hugging him back.
"Does this mean... You feel the same?" You said in between your small sobs, you promised yourself that you will never cry even if you were rejected or not but here is your pathetic ass, crying your heart out.
"Don't cry now, windblume, and yes." He said, hugging you just as tight.
A few minutes passed, and you finally stopped.
Now sitting under the tree, together with your new lover, Venti.
You gazed up at the dark starry sky.
You look back at him, "You scared me, y'know." You whispered slightly punching his arms.
"Hehe!"
You continued talking with each other, you talking to him about your adventures, and him telling you stories.
Slowly, sleep started to eat you and before you know it, you were asleep with your head on Venti's lap.
He stopped talking and looked at you. He smiled, Looking at your beautiful features.
He decided to let you sleep, for he knows you're also tired.
He kissed your forehead, "Good night, my dearest."

"hiding an illness"
If the little green-cloaked bard ever felt sad, or tired, or ill, none of the children of Mondstadt ever knew it when he played his songs for them in the high open square. If he was a little slower to climb out of his chair in the Angel's Share late in the evening under Charles's watchful eye, that would easily be attributed to the multiple glasses of dandelion wine he'd downed in the past hours. As for where he slept, or when, or for how long, this was a matter of uncertainty in any case, and any sniffles that the locals overheard from him were easily attributable to the wandering cats in the alleyways.
Kaeya did give him a few sideways glances, one night that autumn, as they sat side-by-side at the Angel's Share bar: "Looking a little ghostly, are we? Do you need an extra glass tonight?"
Venti only sighed a little, and rubbed one hand up along his flushed cheek; his eyes had dark tinges under them, and there was a slight tremor to the edges of his hand that made Kaeya blink and set down his own glass. Ghostly truly was the word for it, as if somehow his drinking mate's body was less real than the rest of the world around him, the dark wood of the bar stool momentarily half-visible beneath him as Kaeya blinked again.
Kaeya stopped at one Death After Noon that evening, and kept a closer eye on Venti than usual, but the bard bid him farewell for the night with the same insouciance as ever, and departed into the damp autumn dark.
It was the next morning, though, when the two children came looking for Barbara with a shoebox in their hands.
-
"I don't know if I know much how to help with one of these, dears," said Barbara, taken a little by surprise as she lifted the lid. The tiny wisp of a creature huddled into the folded sweater tucked around it, alight with Anemo power, its half-transparent body pulsing with a fitful gleam through the soft white wings surrounding it. "It does seem to be ill somehow, poor thing. Perhaps I'll talk to the Grand Master, Anemo being her specialty, after all."
"Please, we found it under the statue," said the little boy, round-eyed beneath the fringe of his hair. "We didn't know what to do with it."
"I'll do my best, of course. Poor little creature! May Barbatos bless it."
Jean didn't know either, and marveled at the tiny wisp; a breath of her Vision seemed to perk it up somewhat, the light strengthening briefly. Barbara's own Hydro only seemed to dampen it, setting it shivering more. But the wisp had the strength then to sip sugar water from a spoon, like a baby bird, and curl up in the folds of Barbara's dress, softer than feathers and almost intangible beneath her fingers. It reminded her of the Crystalflies that she had chased as a little girl, with the same glimmering glow and insubstantial form that tingled at her touch.
She couldn't carry it with her all day, of course, so she made a little nest for it not too far from the stove in the chantry study, an old choir robe bundled up which it crawled gratefully into. Choir practice ran long and there was dinner to get after, and an old man ill in the cottages near Springvale.
So it wasn't until the border between afternoon and evening that she returned down the Cathedral stairs at last, to check on her little patient. The sound of what seemed to be a very human cough beyond the shut door froze her in sudden startlement, as she reached for the handle.
"Hello?" she called, her free hand going to her Vision nervously.
Another cough, and then a weak and familiar voice answering, "Ah, Deaconess, I hope I don't intrude - "
-
It was Barbara's first impulse to ask why Venti the bard was asleep on the chairs in the choir closet, but as soon as she got a good look at him the whys and wherefores dropped completely out of her mind. His usual shiny hair was disarranged and tousled, braids loose and dull; his cheeks were fever-flushed and lips cracked with dryness; and the slight rattle of his breaths echoed loud in the silence, shoulders heaving a little as he curled into himself.
"Mr. Venti!" Barbara summoned the bright mist of her Vision up around her, as she bent over the bard and slipped an arm under his shoulders. "If you'd gone to talk with them upstairs, they'd have summoned me, and you wouldn't have had to wait here. Come with me to the infirmary right away - you're in a dreadful state."
"I - only need - a moment, I think, and then - " Venti became an abruptly limp weight on her shoulder as he bent into another coughing fit, although a strangely lighter weight than she would have expected.
"Now, I'm not going to let you get away while you're looking like this. It would be a horrible breach of responsibility."
Venti didn't answer, perhaps lacking the strength for it, but he did smile a little, an odd green light from his Vision seeming to reflect in his eyes as he did so.
He stayed silent for a long time, worrisomely pliant as Barbara and Sister Victoria worked together to tuck him into a cot in the infirmary. A warmed brick from the stove and several blankets quelled his shivering at last, though the rough crackle of his breathing had not started to ease yet despite Barbara's healing Hydro and the hot compress Sister Victoria had put on his chest. The green cloak trailed sadly onto the floor from the back of the chair Barbara had hung it over, the feathers in Venti's cap on the chair seat a little crushed and askew.
A bad case of lung-fever, it seemed, exacerbated by not taking care of himself. That wasn't uncommon this season of the year, with colds and fevers running rampant. But to wait until he felt this poorly... Barbara shook her head, reaching out one hand and sending another bright mist of Hydro to circle the head of the cot. How small he looked, propped up on the pillows; almost ghostly, as if the color was ebbing out of him. She almost fancied that if she touched him her hand would go straight through him like a cloud.
No matter. When he was well enough again to hear a lecture she was sure she'd give him one, poor scatterbrained bard. You did not play around with this kind of thing.
-
The wisp wasn't in the choir closet at all, to Barbara's bafflement as she returned later that night. She hoped it hadn't crawled away to die, poor little thing - did Anemo wisps die, or just return to the winds again? Perhaps that had been what became of it; perhaps it had been lonely, and needed to return to its friends. She paused, hands wrapped in the spare choir robe she'd bundled the wisp up in.
If the children asked her, she decided then, that was what she would tell them: that it had returned to the winds, and Barbatos would take care of it.
Then she shook out the robe and folded it again, until it was next needed, and returned to the infirmary and her current patient.

Acceptance (Diluc x GN!Reader)
Wordcount: 2.5K Warning: Alcohol consumption (It's set in Mondstadt come on lol) Also this does not have a happy ending. Note: I'm sure people will catch on but the older sister is based on Alice's character hehe Also I did not proofread this at all I was just trying to get it posted before midnight.
Tumblr media
Looking back six months ago, you had truly thought you were ready to move back to your hometown of Mondstadt. Even after years of traveling around the cities and landscapes of Teyvat, it was still the one place that held a grip on your heart. The rolling hills spotted with wildflowers at Windrise, the scent of cecilias filling the air on Starsnatch Cliff, and the sight of dandelion seeds drifting on the breeze were just a few of the things that made Mondstadt special to you.
The capital city had its own charms of course. The giant windmills were an iconic sight along with the gorgeous statue of Barbatos looming high over the courtyard in front of the cathedral. The clanking of the blacksmith’s hammer and the chatter of merchants were a constant background noise as the scent of steak from Good Hunter permeated the streets while you enjoyed a nice glass of Dandelion Wine. From the outside, it really seemed like the city of freedom was like something out of a fairytale.
“Off to the tavern again, hm?” You visibly cringe at the smooth sound of Kaeya’s voice. “Don’t you think you’re being a little obvious?”
“Obvious that I have a drinking problem?” You reply flatly.
“Obvious that you’re in love with a certain winery owner.” Kaeya corrects you without missing a beat.
You weren’t sure what to do. No matter what you said it would just be opening yourself up to more of his teasing. Normally you enjoyed the banter with Kaeya. He was one of the people in the city that had bothered to get to know you for who you were and not just brush you aside as your sister’s younger and far less interesting sibling.
“He hates me,” you shrug, deciding that pointing out the uncomfortable truth might get the cavalry captain to drop the subject. “I annoy him and he sees me as pathetic and a hot mess.”
It was how a lot of people in Mondstadt saw you, or at least you assumed they did. How could they not when you were constantly compared to your older sister? She was an extremely powerful mage, known all over Teyvat for her amazing accomplishments. Even the archons had acknowledged her talent and ambition by bestowing her with a vision. You were insignificant compared to that. No magic and no vision. Living in her shadow had been a constant weight, and it was for that reason you’d left Mondstadt for so long in the first place.
“Hate is a strong word,” Kaeya shrugs.
He was right. Diluc didn’t hate you. It was probably more accurate to say he was disgusted by you. But you held back from expressing that, not wanting to sound too self deprecating.
“Perhaps I’ll come join you for a drink after my patrol,” Kaeya offers as a polite way to end the conversation. You graciously accept the offer before continuing on your way to Angel’s Share. To tell the truth, the tavern had started off as just a convenient place to spend your time. You hated staying in the apartment you shared with your older sister, even if she wasn’t there most of the time. She was always off on some great adventure or working on some grand scheme. The only other obligation you had was to the adventurer’s guild. So, once you finished up your commissions for the day, all you had was free time.
When you’d first arrived back in Mondstadt, you’d sort of drifted in unnoticed by almost everyone. The most welcoming person by far had been Venti the bard. And while it probably hadn’t done you any favors having the local drunk as your only friend, it had been nice to have someone to laugh, drink, and gossip with.
And Diluc? He had amused you when you’d seen him come into the tavern the first time. It was strange to see his stern scowl behind the bar of such a lively, happy place. You’d snorted with laughter too when Venti told you how many people fancied him and how he’d earned the title of the uncrowned prince of Mondstadt.
“I mean… I get it,” you’d admitted while taking a sip of your drink. “He’s handsome, rich, and he has that tall, dark, mysterious vibe. It’s just… he’s so grumpy.”
You’d had no idea at the time that you were just as foolish as the rest of them. It was hard for you to pinpoint when the silly feelings had started, but the ever observant Kaeya would tell anyone that it was Diluc’s love of Mondstadt that had first captivated you. Hearing the man complain about the inefficiency of the Knights of Favonius had given away how important his home was to him, and how protective he was over it. The devotion he showed certainly resonated with you. In fact, it was during the Weinlesefest that you really started to see a different side of him.
“Heyo Master Diluc!” You’d raised your hand in greeting while shuffling into Angel’s Share and snagging a table. You usually liked to sit at the bar and talk to Charles, but you avoided it when Diluc was there. He was fun to rile up, but you didn’t want to be so obnoxious that he ended up kicking you out or even banning you from the premises. And anyway, on this occasion he already seemed to be in a heated discussion with his adopted brother.
“The festival preparations are coming along quite nicely,” Kaeya hums thoughtfully. “Although it would be terrible to have a wine harvest festival without any wine, don’t you think Diluc? Unfortunately the city didn’t have the resources to secure as much as they hoped.”
You’d rolled your eyes as you eavesdropped on the conversation. Kayea usually handled diplomatic issues so gracefully but he was being completely obvious. Diluc was most certainly going to laugh in his face and tell him to go beg someone else. And just as you thought, the winery owner narrowed his eyes and sighed in annoyance.
“How many barrels do you think you’ll need? Will three be enough?” The reply had completely shocked you.
“That’s very generous of you,” Kaeya smiled graciously. “I’m sure that’ll be more than enough. I’ll have someone stop by the winery this afternoon to pick them up and take them to Springvale.”
“That won’t be necessary,” Diluc waves off the offer completely. “I’ll make sure they get there on time.”
Your jaw dropped as the surprises continued. He hadn’t resisted Kaeya’s request for free handouts at all. And on top of that, he was going to deliver the wine to the festival himself. You had known that he cared about Mondstadt from a safety standpoint and in a political sense, but somehow it shocked you that he’d place such importance on the cultural aspects as well.
“Diluc really loves Mondstadt,” you’d mentioned to Kaeya in conversation later on. “I never would’ve guessed he was that devoted to the traditions surrounding Weinlesefest.”
“You’ll learn a lot more about Diluc by watching his actions than listening to his words,” the knight had told you with a laugh. “I knew it wouldn’t take much to convince him to lend a hand.” In hindsight, maybe you could blame Kaeya for the way you started to pay closer attention to Diluc.
“Don’t you ever relax?” you ask him one evening, striking up a conversation just for the heck of it. “It seems like you’re always working.”
“That’s because there’s always something to do,” he replies stiffly. An annoying voice in the back of your head told you this was a subtle slight against you. He thought you were lazy.
“Don’t you have enough people working for you that you could take a day off once in a while?” You watched him carefully to look for hints that he was getting irritated with you. It probably would’ve been smarter not to engage him at all, but there was something soothing about the sound of his voice.
“Things tend to get done the right way when I do them myself,” he states as a matter of fact.
You really couldn’t help but admire him. He was everything you wished you could be. He was strong and successful. He didn’t care what others thought of him. He was independent and passionate. He mattered.
From there, things just got worse. And once you realized how you were feeling about him, it was too late to backpedal. The only thing you could do was fight tooth and nail not to fall harder. But of course that proved to be impossible too.
“You’re staring again,” Venti snickers behind his glass of wine and you shoot a halfhearted glare at him.
“I was just looking at the specials board,” you tell him.
“Right.” Venti knew very well that you were in the tavern enough to have the specials memorized. It was hard not to watch Diluc though. If you didn’t, it was likely you’d miss those little glimpses of his compassion and generosity that never failed to make your chest warm and your heart stutter just a bit.
Sure, it pissed him off and he grumbled about it forever whenever someone got a little too drunk at the tavern, but that didn’t stop him from letting them crash in one of the rooms there. Most of the time he didn’t even charge them, instead just letting them off with a stern warning. And he loved to complain about Venti’s occasional antics and threaten to ban him from the establishment for trying to get away with not paying for all the wine he drank, but he never actually acted on those words and always ended up serving the bard again the next time he showed up.
“Did you ever think about telling him how you feel?” Venti asks after a moment and you really wish he’d just drop the subject. It was embarrassing and you were paranoid that Diluc would overhear.
“Great idea,” you deadpan. “Then he’ll think I’m even more of a freak and avoid me like the plague.”
“Don’t be dramatic,” the bard chuckles, taking a sip of his wine. “I could help you write a love letter to give him. I bet deep down he’s a hopeless romantic.”
You glance over at Diluc again, watching him meticulously clean the dirty mugs and glasses behind the bar then shake your head. “No way,” you say resolutely. “I don’t think he’d be very receptive to that.”
It got tiresome hearing Kaeya and Venti tell you to shoot your shot. It wasn’t like you hadn’t tested the waters a bit with some subtle flirting. Playful comments like “Looking good today Diluc!” and “Now those are the arms of a claymore user.’ only served to make him grumble and turn away.
Unrequited love sucked, but you might’ve been able to survive loving Diluc from the sidelines if it weren’t for your sister showing up at the most inopportune time.
Windblume.
You should’ve known something was up when half the people you knew had gone missing as soon as the festival started, leaving you to sit at the city fountain and watch all the lovesick couples exchange flowers and love letters. Just when you were starting to actually worry, a familiar voice called your name.
“Happy Windblume!”
“Albedo…” You raise your eyebrow at the alchemist. It was rare to see him in the city since he was usually holed up at Dragonspine, but you figured even he would come out and show his face on such an important day. “It’s been a while.”
“You were gone a long time,” he agrees before offering a deceptively sweet smile. “Have you given flowers to Diluc yet?”
“What?!” You recoil and scrunch up your face. It had been years since you’d talked to this guy and this was his first question. Classic Albedo. How the heck did he know anyway? “First of all…” you frown, “I haven’t seen him all day. I haven’t seen anyone.”
“True,” the alchemist shrugs. “Your sister is in town and has been up to her tricks again. It’s really quite extraordinary that she always manages to pull these things off without anyone knowing.”
Anger bubbled up inside you. Your sister was in town for Windblume, and in her usual fashion, had somehow made herself the star of the show. It wasn’t the first time she’d orchestrated a whole ordeal from behind the scenes, roping in the unsuspecting people of Mondstadt to participate in her puzzles and games.
“I guess my invitation to the spectacle must’ve gotten lost in the mail,” you state flatly before realizing that you hadn’t seen either of your friends that day because your sister had lured them away. The only thing that would’ve made Windblume tolerable was having a drink with Venti and bickering with Kaeya. It was already suspicious that she’d picked them, but the fact that she’d involved Diluc too felt like a deliberate slap in the face.
“She probably didn’t want you to miss Windblume since you haven’t attended one in so long,” Albedo reasons.
“Yeah,” you felt a little bad for taking your sour mood out on him, but thankfully he didn’t seem too offended.
“Diluc should be at the wine stand by now,” he nods politely before excusing himself.
You already knew you were foolish enough to go see him. It was Windblume and you didn’t see the harm in just getting a glimpse of him before going to find somewhere to hide yourself for the rest of the evening.
You underestimated how damaging a glimpse could be though. At first, it made you feel a little better to see his bright red hair and silly, dark, fancy clothes. But then he turned around and your heart fell into your stomach. He was holding a bundle of pink and white clover flowers. It wasn’t surprising that someone would give him a gift for Windblume. The disturbing part was that clover flowers weren’t easy to find. They were also the flower you knew your sister was most partial to. She had given Windblume flowers to Diluc.
“Are you kidding me?” You grit your teeth and turn away, not knowing if you were mad or just simply embarrassed that your sister could hold so much power over you without even showing her face.
Thankfully most of your things were at the adventurer’s guild because the last thing you wanted to do was go to your apartment and run into your sister. It wasn’t likely she was there but you weren’t taking any chances. You grab your backpack and turn in your adventurer’s uniform. You wouldn’t be doing any more commissions. In fact, you probably wouldn’t be back to Mondsadt at all.
You do your best to keep your head down as you head for the city gate, not wanting to have any awkward conversations with anyone about why you were leaving. You knew Venti and Kaeya would understand once they heard you were gone. They’d be perfectly fine without you, just like Mondstadt. You turn around just once to get a last look at the windmills that were iconic to the city and then close your eyes, listening to the laughter and chatter carrying on the wind. Mondstadt was a wonderful place, you just didn’t belong there.

it's 7 in the morning, what'd you take me for? - genshin fic
ft. diluc, klee. qiqi (all platonic, w gn!reader)
warnings: angst to fluff!! except for diluc's part bc i can, alcohol addiction, grammatical errors bc i wrote this while half asleep
cw: alcoholism
summary: they try to stop you from drinking
note: i know it's common for some people to start drinking in the morning, but in the country i live in, almost no one does that because of work, school, cultural stuff etc etc so js keep that in mind! also ik the characters i chose are mostly from mondstadt, where it's common for people to drink quite early in the morning, but i just felt like they were suitable characters for this
DILUC! he sighs, looking as you lay your head down on one of the tavern's tables, dominant hand gripping the bottle of dandelion wine as if it were your life support. diluc has half the mind to snatch the bottle away from you, but he knows how cranky you can get when you don't get your morning drink in. and he knows it's bad, and that he should do something about your alcohol addiction, but it's hard to say no to you whenever you give him that pleading look you have on your face. it's the same with venti, really. when he sees the two of you drinking together, he gets worried that the week's supply of dandelion wine will be depleted within a day. it doesn't help that you have the money, even if venti doesn't, to pay for the drinks. "it's your seventh bottle," diluc says sternly. you shake your head, mumbling something incoherent. "one m...more?" you say, your words slurring together. usually, he would relent, pouring out some of the wine into a separate bottle so that you didn't drink the entire bottle. but this time, he only takes the bottle away from you. "you can't keep doing this," he says, looking at your slumped figure. "it's not even 8 in the morning yet." you wave a hand dismissively. "it's 8 somewhere else in the world," you mutter, reaching out instinctively for more. "please," diluc says, tone weary. "i can pay double...if you want," you ramble, cheeks squished against the table. diluc lets out a long breath. "i don't care if you pay or not. i want you to start taking care of yourself." if you heard his words, you might one day find the motivation to start taking care of yourself, as diluc put it. but for now, the tavern seemed like a really nice place to stay in, with alcohol as a friend.
KLEE! "albedo said that you can't drink that," klee says obstinately. your vision is blurry as you try and focus on the little red girl in front of you. klee, her name was? right, jean's adopted child and albedo's sister. "that was last time," you say as clearly as you can, willing yourself to look sober, even if you don't feel it. klee thinks for a moment, before saying cheerily, "if you help klee find dodoco, i will give it to you." dodoco? wasn't that the extinct bird? oh wait, it's klee's...friend. you nod eagerly. "right. um, dodoco. where did you last see him?" klee considers that for a moment, before jumping up in delight. "near whispering woods! i was there playing, and then dodoco went missing..." you nod as if you understand. "alright, i'll go find dodoco for you," you agree, heading towards katheryne from the adventurer's guild. "katheryne," you start, clearing your throat. the young woman looks at you, opening her mouth to give you the standard greeting. before she can speak, however, you slide some mora to her. "can you, um, help me find dodoco? y'know, klee's little friend," you say, hiccuping. katheryne only smiles and agrees, putting up a commission for it. you receive dodoco from katheryne hours later, and she informs you that the commission was completed by a foreign traveller who happened to be passing by mondstadt. you thank katheryne, and went off to find klee. when you pass klee dodoco, she jumps up in glee, hugging dodoco. "thank you!" klee exclaims. her face falls then, however, when she says, "albedo took the bottle away though...klee promises she didn't give it to him! he found it in my secret hiding spot and..." even through your drunken state, there is no way you would ever want to hurt a child, or see one become sad because of you. still, you couldn't help but let an expletive slip out from your mouth under your breath, directed toward albedo, before you bend down to pat klee on the head. "it's okay, klee," you say, realising this is the first time in ages that you've interacted with someone that isn't trying to take a bottle of alcohol away from you. klee brightens up considerably. "since you're free now, can we go fish blasting?" she asks excitedly, eyes sparkling. and even if jean is going to find the both of you later, and put klee in solitary confinement for the nth time, you only smile and agree.
QIQI! of all things, you definitely did not expect a small child to be the person standing between you and alcohol right now. qiqi looks up at you with soulless eyes, her monotonous voice telling you for the fifth time that under baizhu's orders, you were not to have the bottle of alcohol. it shouldn't be a problem for you, because normally you could always just buy a dozen other bottles to keep you satiated for the next few days. but your pay check hadn't come in yet, and your stock was already depleted. you really, really needed that bottle desperately, and a child - a zombie child, of all people - was in the way. defeated, you ask qiqi, "what did baizhu tell you?" qiqi paused for a moment before getting her notebook. "'do not consume more alcohol until fully recovered'," she reads out. you sigh, rubbing the temples of your head. a headache is setting in - a withdrawal symptom, no doubt. you haven't been off of it for very long, just barely a day ago you had finished off another bottle, but now the symptoms are kicking in - restlessness, feelings of nausea...baizhu had repeated them to you multiple times, and one could say that by force, you had memorised the effect of the drink you so loved. well, if qiqi wouldn't give you your drink, then you would just have to find other methods, right? you turn to leave, but feel someone tugging at the hem of your shirt. "don't...go," qiqi says, a long pause between the two words. she meets your eyes briefly, before looking down. "is it baizhu's orders? i'm pretty sure i took all my meds the last time," you say, trying to make your tone as kind as possible. it's hard though, but an attempt was made. qiqi shakes her head slowly. "qiqi, lonely. and cold. you are very warm." she says it slowly, before turning around to rummage through a small drawer you were sure wasn't there the last time you came to visit baizhu. "please stay," qiqi says again, handing you a small packet of...coconut milk? coconut milk. you rack your brains, trying to recall who...oh. right. the cocogoat incident that spread around liyue was really just qiqi asking for coconut milk. you look at the girl, and she is sitting on the floor, sipping her coconut milk as happily as zombies can be. you exhale, closing your eyes for a moment. you had work to do. you had a job, a pay check to receive. and this child was just in the way of your one and only source of momentary happiness. but, she also just gave you one packet of her favourite food. and being here at bubu pharmacy all day long alone while baizhu goes out to settle some...fishy business, it must be lonely, no? and perhaps, you were lonely too. so with a small smile, you sat down beside qiqi and drank the coconut milk in silence. it tasted horrible to you, but you finished it anyway. and the two of you sit there in silence, side by side, before you start to doze off...

Morning Star Martini; Diluc brainrot +18
"The Morning Star Martini is a sunsettia-flavoured cocktail made with vanilla-flavoured fire water, sunsettia liqueur, sweet flower juice, and lime juice. It is traditionally accompanied by a chilled shot glass of dandelion wine."
Notes: Tried to make the reader as gender ambiguous as possible.

TW: having Diluc spit in your drink, begging, hickeys, him going down on you, overstimulation, hair pulling kink
As Diluc explained what the Morning Star Martini was you couldn't focus on his words. At all. You were just resting your head on your hands, elbows steady on the counter on the bar as you were fighting gravity on a stool at Angel's Share. You decided to close your eyes for a moment; to gather your thoughts amidst the chaotic chatter filling the building.
Your mind felt clouded and your vision was faded because of being exposed to so much alcohol that evening.
When you went out that evening with your drinking buddy, Venti, he seemed more energetic than usual, frolicking all the way to the tavern.
"-Tonight it’s going to be so much fun!" those words chimed in your mind, not being able to remember the rest of Venti's mischievous plan, a familiar voice breaking your train of thought.
-Would you like to try it?
You've opened your eyes.
The redhead had a soft smile on his face, yet his fidgeting hands betrayed the calm façade he was trying to pull off. For how long did you make him wait?
-I -I should... maybe- Sounds good...? Yeah.
You blurted out in a panic, not wanting to waste his time further. Diluc raised his brow in confusion before turning away, getting things ready for your drink.
With a hasty sigh you tried to lean back in your chair yet firmly grasping the table so you could turn around without tumbling off the chair. You looked around the crowded bar, your eyes desperately searching for Venti to no avail. Perhaps he went upstairs?
Alas, your thoughts were suddenly interrupted by Diluc’s voice, this time calling out your name;
-Your drink is ready. I hope you will enjoy it.
Turning back in your seat to face him, you noticed the crimson haired man holding a martini glass filled to the brim with a sparkling orange colored cocktail, and another shot glass filled halfway with dandelion wine. You wanted to inspect the beverage further but your eyes locked on Diluc’s face, specifically his lips which were curved into a warm smile. He was eagerly waiting for you to accept the drink yet your thoughts were horribly scattered. His excitement turned into embarrassment as he noticed you staring at him like that. Trying his best to maintain his composure, he set the glasses on the bar next to you.
He planned to call it a night and head for the winery. Not being fully sober himself, he thought that leaving as soon as possible was the best option. He was had his doubts that a certain bard took it upon himself to get as many people drunk that night as possible but he had no concrete evidence for that.
But the next thing he knew was you waving your hand out for him to notice you, practically jumping out of your seat in the process.
-Does this… drink. Yeah, does this have any alcohol?
You felt the need to ask that because throughout the whole evening Venti offered you a lot of fruit juice. But you came to the realization that the little shit spiked all of it with alcohol and you got to the point where you got accustomed to it and yearned for more. Alas, the drink offered by Diluc smelled so fruity and devilishly innocent it drove you nuts.
There was an awkward moment of silence though. He swore he was struck by lightning hearing those words.
You’ve teased him like that ever since you got tipsy, it was innocent flirty things like telling him you liked him or calling him darling out of nowhere, he wanted to gloss over to not set his heart ablaze. He wanted to believe it was all because of your drunken state; but he couldn’t stand the thought of you mocking his bartending expertise.
So he took that personally; he came back to your spot without saying a word, swiftly snatched your the shot glass before pouring all the liquid into his mouth and sort of just held it for a few moments.
He didn’t swallow, but instead he opened his mouth and let the liquid drip off his tongue back into the cocktail glass, maintaining eye contact the whole time until he felt most of it gone. You swore you felt your heart drop right there and then.
-Sure does.
Diluc said that calmly then set the glasses on the counter, closer to you this time. You suddenly felt blood rush furiously as you started to blush noticeably, invasive thoughts flooding your mind.
The red haired man was fed up though, hurrying to make his leave for the night and as soon as you realized that adrenaline took over you. In the span of a few seconds you downed the whole drink then rushed after him. He noticed that but was too tired to protest.
-I am sorry… please don’t leave without me.
He glanced over at you with a defeated stare and gave you a small nod. With that you didn’t know what to say anymore, and before you knew it you’ve walked with him all the way to the winery holding onto his arm, without saying a word. The fresh morning air was enough to slowly sober you up.
As you walked into the mansion with Diluc you couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed about the tension that pent up through that whole night. He guided you to a guest room and handed you some mattresses, avoiding eye contact. The said tension wasn’t any better for him.
-I am so sorry, Diluc…
-Apology accepted, sleep well.
You hesitantly took them then he walked out, closing the door behind him. After leaving the neatly piled mattresses on the bed you let yourself drop down on the floor next to it, ending up sitting cross legged. That moment at Angel’s Share started to take over your mind, you couldn’t figure out if it was erotic on purpose or he simply wanted to mock your ignorance but you couldn’t care less. It made you ache for him and it was getting more and more unbearable by the second. Enough so to get you to consider touching yourself then and there.
A few minutes passed, but you swore it felt like hours; and you heard some footsteps approaching your room followed shortly by gentle knocking on your door. You hurried to get up and go open it.
-I came to apologise for being so mean to you, and to properly wish you a good night.
The kind smile he had in that moment took you off guard. He has changed in his pajamas too; a black silk set. His hair was tied up in a messy bun this time and you couldn’t help but try to overcome your invasive thoughts again. He was so innocently erotic and for what?
-Why haven’t you made your bed yet, is there anything wrong?
-We need to talk. I… I have something to confess to you.
The man was confused yet surely intrigued. He nodded and offered you to join him in his room which you eagerly agreed to.
-What is it that you want to talk about?
He asked as he calmly sat down on his bed, waiting for you to take a seat next to him, so you did.
Trying to make up your mind on how to express your message clearly you felt as if a lump was starting to form at the back of your throat.
For a second, you thought that looking at him may ease the tension but it was quite the opposite. Seeing him looking so kindly at you in that dim light only made your stomach flutter.
Not being able to say the words while looking at him you decided to stare at your unconsciously fidgeting hands that were resting on your lap.
-This may come off as sudden, since we've known each other for only a year, and we've been good friends but... I’ve caught feelings for you and I am ashamed for the stupid things I have done this night. I can’t apologize enough for…
You felt the bed shift slightly and the next thing you knew was Diluc holding you in a firm embrace. It felt like a dream and you instinctively reached your arms to hold him even closer.
-I have been crazy about you for the longest time, you have no idea. Thank you for letting me know the way you feel about me.
Diluc whispered that to you which only made your heart race faster. Being this close to him, his sweet scent hit you hard even it was subtle; he smelled floral but it was laced with fruity tones. You felt yourself become greedy, wanting to feel more of him.
-Prove it.
You whispered back and you found yourself pinned down on his bed. Finally able to see his face, you were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of his eyes for a moment before he went in for a gentle kiss. Before you had a chance to process what was going on he deepened the kiss as one of his hands started to caress your sides gently causing you to gasp. He pulled away blushing, his breath sightly heavy; but yours wasn't any better.
-I want to ravish you, you've been so intoxicating tonight, making me starve for you. I thought about taking you right there and then. You have been... Such a tease. But taking you all the way like that wouldn't have been fair and even now... it just isn't right.
His words left you speechless and slightly disappointed, nevertheless you found yourself gripping the sheets beneath you without realising it. Diluc took that as an opportunity to seat himself nicely between your legs, a hand gliding teasingly underneath the upper part of your garments.
-Therefore, a taste should suffice, until we are both sober. Would that okay?
You felt your legs tremble slightly, and he noticed. So he moved his other hand on your knee in hopes to comfort you. Little did he know, despite ceasing the movement, it only made your grip onto the sheets stronger.
-Suit yourself.
You muttered, looking away. The next thing you knew it was him chuckling as he started to undress you, painstakingly slow. Yet he took the decision to leave your underwear on, much to your pleas to peel them away.
-By the way, I need your feedback on this. I want to make sure you're feeling good, love.
He said, leaning in to leave kisses and love bites along your chest, your abdomen...He would glance up at you as he left some marks near your pelvic area too. Instinctively, you reached out your hand to grab him by his hair, holding a firm grip next to his bun. A quiet moan escaped his mouth which made you smirk.
-You can bite harder...-
-Beg for me, dear.
His command made you sigh but you obliged.
-Please, harder... now...
You mewled out and he obliged, biting and sucking harder when leaving marks on your skin. He slowly made his way to your bare thighs, leaving countless marks there, seeming to have a good time as he watched you try to lean your hips towards him when his breath would get too close to your sensitive bits.
It felt so good you swore you could just come untouched properly; how scandalous.
He pressed a thumb on the wet patch that formed on the fabric of your underwear and you gasped. After circling it around for a few moment he slid a finger beneath the upper half of your underwear just to let it snap back on your skin.
-Diluc... Please... stop teasing me already.
Keeping eye contact, he licked the thumb which he used to toy you with, a pleased hum leaving his mouth as he felt your taste.
-What a shame, I really wanted to take my time with this, you know. But I will do as you wish.
After he took off the rest of your underwear along with his shirt, he hurried a pillow beneath where he was about to place himself. That made you realize he planned to stay a good while there.
-Ah, I don't think I will last that long-
-No worries, we will just start over.
Right after he cut you off he started to give you soft kisses right where you ached the most and you found yourself tremble again, a hand instinctively rushing to his hair, grasping it firmly. A suppressed moan escaped his mouth and that's the moment when it finally clicked; he had a thing for getting his hair gripped like that. So you started to tug gently on it as he started to use his tongue to please you. You both started to breathe heavily, consumed by lust.
Diluc noticed you started to get used to the slow pace so he didn't rush it, but instead he started to use some more pressure when sucking on your sensitive parts.
That got you to crack, starting to moan a bit too loudly to your liking, so you thought about covering your mouth with the back of your hand. The moment you wanted to take a hand out of his hair he paused to stop you, leaving you throbbing for more.
-Don't do that. Let me hear you moan.
You whined but hesitantly nodded. He leaned in for a kiss before getting back to his place, this time snaking his arms beneath your thighs. A wave of relief washed over you as he resumed his actions. Lewd noises started to escape your mouth as he fastened his pace over time. Instead of attempting to quiet yourself, you started to play with his soft hair, occasionally tugging on it just to get him to moan out for you too.
-There we go, you're doing great, my love.
He muttered for a moment which made your stomach flutter.
-I'm close, please don't stop...Ah!
You gasped as you felt your orgasm nearing. A soft sigh escaped his mouth before he gripped your hips steadily, his pace unchanging. It was just what you needed to finally reach your orgasm, leaving out a sharp moan as you realized he kept going, for a while more after you rode out your high, tugging hard on his hair.
-Diluc! Please-
Before you knew it you found yourself arching your back as another orgasm hit you hard, leaving you trembling. You heard him chuckle as he pulled himself away. As he did your hands fell limp next to your body. Your heart raced so fast in those moments you felt like you were about to burst. And you couldn't really stop feeling that way, not when you noticed the way he was staring at you while swiping his index finger across his cheek to wipe off some of your cum before licking it off.
-I'm getting drunk all over again, this time on your taste... I want more, so much more, but I will let you have a break for now. In the meantime, here, have some water.
You felt a wave of heat spreading over your body at the thought of starting it all over again, yet you tried to dismiss that as you slowly sat up, taking the glass of water from him. You drank it all quickly and you couldn't help but notice the obvious erection he had.
-I would love to taste you too, actually.
You noticed the small gulp he had at that.
-Don't say such thing, I won't be able to control myself anymore. Let me hold off until the next evening.
A sigh of defeat left your mouth but you obliged; setting the glass on the night stand. The thought of him losing control made you excited but you wanted to let him build up his neediness further.
-Very well then, as you wish, love.
He chuckled then crawled on top of you, starting an intense makeout session.

𝄡 Drunk and humming to themselves, Venti was rummaging through the wine cellar located within the Dawn Winery at about two am. Master Diluc wouldn't notice a bottle or two going missing...right?
Venti wasn't really sure but...they didn't really have the brainpower to think too hard on the subject. Their fingers clumsily ran across the labels as they looked for the oldest bottle of Dandelion Wine they could find.
Tumblr media
Tonight was going to be a good night!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Venti is really not as sneaky as they think themself to be right now. They are very clearly drunk, and Diluc isn't sure whether or not he should be annoyed or amused at the antics currently happening in his cellar.
It's hard to believe that this is the archon of Mondstadt sometimes. Well, no. It's not hard to believe, what's hard to believe is the way they choose to spend their time.
Stealing.
"Venti," Diluc says, crossing his arms as he stares at them. "I hope you have a good reason for being in my cellar, rummaging through my wine." He already knows there won't be, but at least this'll pass the time a little. It does get boring around here sometimes.

Xiao would probably be a bit hover-y when he starts travelling with the party, because fighting things to protect Liyue has been his job and purpose for over a thousand years and now suddenly it. Isn't.
Sure, there's still fighting, but not nearly as much and... It's not his purpose, anymore, not the way it was before, and what. does he do now.
And he was doing it alone, before, for so long, it's been so long since-
He doesn't want to think about that.
So he's probably a bit hover-y, trying to figure out what he's supposed to do now, how he fits with these people, deals with them. What needs doing? Is anyone else doing it, satisfactorily? Can he do it?
And while he probably does need some sleep at some stage, mostly the hours drag on from dusk till dawn. There's only so much sitting around he can do. He's not used to having this much time to sit around.
The party clears treasure hoarders out of yet another set of ruins and sets up camp for the night, planning to tackle the puzzles in the morning. Xiao takes watch. He always does.
And it's not like anything around here is going to get the drop on him, so he turns his attention to the nearest puzzle, for something to do.
He's quiet, so as not to disturb anyone, but Venti, who is there I have decided just now, gets up and joins him. Many hands make light work, and they both wince, subtly in Xiao's case, as something grinds open.
Fortunately, no one stirs. But it is high time Xiao got some sleep too. He's been putting it off long enough. There is a brief, quiet argument, but if Xiao is not going to be reasonable about this then neither is Venti. He hits the Conquerer of Demons on the head with a wine bottle.
The Traveler watches from where they are pretending to sleep with a hand over their mouth to stifle their laughter.
"You could help me, you know," Venti pouts as he carries Xiao over to to his bedroll.
"Shh-h-hh." The Traveler giggles, gesturing to Razor, who is the only person who is actually asleep here. I saw a post by @quilliumwrites I think, about the Traveler not needing sleep and Razor insisting that they do. It's like that post about cats herding their humans to bed except it's a wolf-boy herding three cat-like immortals who don't need sleep nearly as much as he does.
Xiao wakes up furiously well-rested. Venti is going to pay.
Miss Lisa told Razor once that drinking too much is bad for you. Venti drinks a lot. It must be bad for him. Razor is always trying to curb his intake, and now Xiao is going to put more effort into helping him. Venti might be able to resist the efforts of a young mortal, but resisting the efforts of the Vigilant Yaksha is considerably more difficult. How many bottles does the Anemo Archon have. This is ridiculous.
The Traveler pretends not to notice any of this, because it is ridiculous, but also very funny to watch without getting involved. Venti's a god. He'll be fine. Ish.
Diluc isn't sure where this Xiao guy came from or what his deal is, but his bard-god-pain-in-the-ass brought actual money this time and this is a business.
What happens to the bottles once they leave his possession is, however, none of his.

Drunk | Venti
Contents: gn!reader, fluff, alcohol, drunk Venti, smooches, reader is strong
Synopsis: Bringing Venti home.
a/n: "me and your mama" but play it on repeat for 2 hours straight
Tumblr media
He's cute when he sleeps, is your first thought.
He's a pain in the ass when he's black-out drunk, is your second.
The bard is knocked out on the counter before you. In his hands, he cradles a nearly-empty bottle of wine. You can hear him snoring despite the rambunctious tavern-goers upstairs.
"I can take him from here." You nod to Charles, shooting the bartender a defeated smile. He seems a little worse for wear, but he sends you off with a reassuring laugh.
Waving him goodnight, you drag you lover into the chilly night. "Let's get you home," you huff.
You lug the slumbering bard onto your back, and make your way home. He smells of dandelion wine and faintly of cecilias. You scrunch you nose when his breath hits your nostrils.
The walk is spent in silence, with you staring up at the sky whilst trying not to drop your precious cargo. The cold nipped at your exposed skin, sending a shiver to wrack through your body.
The streets of Mondstadt are quiet at this time. Thankfully, that means no one is awake to see you huff and puff as you drag your lover home.
Your arms have long since grown numb, but you press on. Halfway there, Venti snorts, coughs, and picks his head off your shoulder. There's a bit of drool left behind, but you don't really care.
"Mmnh- where... (name)?" He slurs, bringing his hands to wrap around your shoulders. You can't see it , but you can imagine the dazed look on his face. He's rather warm, and despite the putrid stench of alcohol on his breath, you welcome his touch. "Windblume?"
"Ye-Yeah?" You stutter, nearly jumping out of your skin when you feel his nose brush against your cheek. The arms wrapped around his thighs tighten, only serving to bring him closer against you.
"I, mph- I love you." He says breathily, pressing his face into the crook of your neck.
At this, heat blossoms across your face. In your chest, your heart hammers against your ribcage- you swear you're going to have a heart attack.
"I love you, I love you lots-" He confesses, and you almost stagger when his lips meet the warmth of your flushed neck.
"Do you?" You tease, letting a gentle chuckle slip past your lips. He nods, the fluff of his hair tickling your cheek.
This wouldn't be the first time he's said those words. He says them everyday before you leave for work; when you return home in the evening. So why does your blood run hot when he whispers them against your skin?
"Say it back," he whines. "Please?"
You feel a little silly. The annoying pitter patter of your heart and squeeze of Venti's arms around your shoulders make your legs shake. "I love you too, Venti." You say, turning into an airy laugh when he smushes his cheek against yours.
"Yeah, you better." He huffs, and slides off your back. His usual braided hair is a mess, tousled by the day and cheeks flushed a beautiful pink. You swear, if beauty could be described in a single word, he would be the very definition.
He slips his hand into your own, pulling you along with him. You briefly wonder when he suddenly sobered up, but that thought is quickly chased away when he slams face-first into a wall.
