#in light of recent online 'success' i feel like this may come off as ungrateful #just wanna say that all the comics i make in this series are written about experiences i felt in 2022 #which was a rough year personally and creatively #and i very luckily don't feel this way anymore #and this also isnt to shame anyone who DOES feel this way #its easy to start to feel like all you are is a vending machine of art #and like thats all you are to people #theres nothing human to you #it can be a bit of a pit #and on some level this damage is self inflicted but social media really doesnt help that feeling #this wont work for everyone but having friends around you who you can talk to about stuff that ISNT art #going outside for dinner #maybe walking around #its good for when you need that feeling to go away even a bit temporarily #youre a human being #not a mindless content creation machine #and i hope anyone who feels like this now can get to a place where they have a healthier relationship with their own work #good luck to all of you #and thank you for reading #comic art #its 10pm #stillindigo art

One thing I wanna do more is include Battinson's complete lack of filter.

That scene at the funeral where Falcone tried to push that 'your father saved me for a reason' fantasy, which Bruce ended very quickly with his '' He took the Hippocratic oath" line

It can sure read as snarky, and in some parts, it was, -- Falcone's antourage surely saw it as that, -- but Bruce was completely serious.

It wasn't a diplomatic move on his part, but that's why it works. 'No filter' doesn't generally entail being rude and bold, it's your thoughts being faster than your mouth without considering how it'd sound out loud

Not to mention, Bruce wouldn't process sarcasm the same as everyone else. He's good at dishing it, for sure, but we've seen he's completely oblivious to obvious social ques,

If somebody were to be like, " haha maybe YOU'RE batman" him, the go to reaction would be " haha good one"

i may be really reaching here but when crowley says 'who tried very hard to kill you, to cast you into hellfire and destroy you', that's the only reason he gives to hating gabriel. he's not willing to give this clearly ditzy and amnesic archangel a single chance because he was involved in aziraphale's execution and he clocked that he's a generally shitty guy. he doesn't say 'he's an asshole' or anything like that, it's the only reason he gives.

plus, he says 'he's not OUR friend'. He could have easily said 'he's not YOUR friend', but gabriel's actions was an attack on crowley as well as aziraphale, as crowley was the one to stand in the burning bookshop, thinking that his angel had been killed, and was ordered to step into hellfire in a cutthroat manner posed as aziraphale. it gets to the point to the point where aziraphale, the one who was attempted to be executed and has been pushed around by gabriel all his life, gives gabriel more slack than crowley, who only knows gabriel off of the fact that a. he tried to kill azi b. he's been treating azi badly for millenia

plus, we don't know if he knew gabriel before he fell from heaven, and if he did, he doesn't mention it in the 'why gabriel is a bad person so he should not be our adopted son 101' mini presentation, so if he did know gabriel before and gabriel was most likely part of the falling, he doesn't mention anything like 'i knew him before he was a dick', because the ONLY THING that matters to crowley is that gabriel's a dick to aziraphale, something that even AZIRAPHALE HIMSELF cast aside because he wanted to help gabriel, it doesn't matter what gabriel did to him, it doesn't matter that he inadvertantly tried to execute crowley, it only matters what he did to azi, and he's afraid that he'll do it again now he's back. crowley is so scared to lose aziraphale again it's insane also... 'precious, peaceful, fragile'... sideye
