I don't think I've read a book like this before. This is a Witchy read and would've done me good if I read it in the witchy season but I'm glad I didn't wait.
The Sisters Solstice is an amazing read (I've yet to finish book 2 but I'm already loving it)
There's a dark gothic theme (first timer) but me likey. Agatha (such a witch name) is a strong but sometimes weird FMC who is well, as powerful as they come.
ENEMIES TO LOVERS Y'ALL ENEMIES TO LOVERS.
can't wait to read book 2 and give an even detailed review.

Day 5 of the #writerfriendschallenge Name a witchy read. Nettle & Bone by K A Kingfisher is a terrific witchy story with heavy fairy tale vibes. Love the unlikely heroine and her even unlikelier cadre of helpers, the classic tropes and the twists of them. A fabulous five star short read. For those who like fat books with sloooww burn I also recommend the Blackthorn & Grim series by Juliet Marillier. #witchyreads #bookrecommendations #writerscommunity #fairytales #shortreads #bigbooks Thank you to @susanleighneedham and @thatsarahelynn https://www.instagram.com/p/CjY0IZwr9nD/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I write a fictional divination book series where tarot is a main feature in the storyline throughout all books. Book 1 in The Divining Sisters Series, The Call of the Cards, was released in Summer 2022 and book 2, We Divine Three, released in Feb. 2023. Ebook - $4.99; paperback - $14.99
Tumblr media
This series follows a group of women (witches, healers, diviners) who reincarnate lifetime after lifetime and reunite with their coven so they can fulfill a mission of keeping their craft of divination, healing, and magic alive for future generations.
Book Blurb for Book 1 in The Divining Sisters Series: The Call of the Cards
Alexandra Steele, a clinical psychologist, stumbles upon a mystical store in downtown, Memphis, TN, where she encounters tarot cards for the first time. She doesn't realize it at the time, but this simple encounter will leave her life forever changed as she uncovers a world of past life connections to the cards and the craft of divination. This sparks an awakening that opens door after door of a long line of mystic and witch incarnations that run throughout her history. As she reconnects to these deep mystical ties, she begins to learn about her destiny, which is revealed as she starts to encounter coven sisters and foes from previous incarnations. Will her tendency to hide in the shadows and play small continue to hold her back or will the call of the cards lure her onto her destined path of a life full of magic and sisterhood?
Book 3 is coming September 2023 and I'm currently writing book 4 now.

🐉RATING: 🔥🔥🔥🔥/5 🌻NEW RELEASE🌻 In the Shadow Garden by @lizparkerwrites is a light fantasy treat with mystery and a bit of romance. In the small town of Yarrow, Kentucky, magic is a part of life. Two of the founding families - the Haywoods and the Bonners - have magical abilities and the residents rely on them to help ease their emotional pain. But there’s a sinister gloom literally hanging over the town and it’s heaviest around the Bonner Bourbon distillery. Two generations of conflict have made the Haywoods distrustful of the Bonners, but the town relies on their bourbon business and the festival that brings tourists to town. The return of Kayden Bonner - after a 25-year absence - sparks a new urgency within the Haywood family to solve a series of mysteries. Why does no one remember Kayden Bonner? Was Nolan Haywood murdered? Why did the whole town agree to give up their memories of an entire summer? I love the unique magic system Liz Parker created, linking healing to nature. The soil, plants, and insects are all connected to the Haywoods, and together they transform trauma into fruits and vegetables that feed the soul and amplify emotion. While a quick easy read, In the Shadow Garden examines the weighty topic of how we cope with trauma and painful emotions. Is it best to forget the events that upset us? Push them to the back of our minds and compartmentalize? Or do we need to feel our pain in order to heal? ❓QOTD: Do you watch the Kentucky Derby or enjoy Kentucky bourbon? Thank you to @netgalley @readforeverpub and @grandcentralpub for early access to this book! #intheshadowgarden #lizparker #magicalbooks #witchyreads #natureheals #fantasyreads #bookrecommendations #bookreview #netgalleyreview #arcreview #bookstagram https://www.instagram.com/p/CifYv8HLGOO/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

★ Do you use Kindle Unlimited? I use Kindle Unlimited constantly, I’ve been a member for over five years now and it’s been worth every cent—my holds are constantly maxed out and I have a whole Amazon list of books I want to read that are on KU! I try to read 3-4 KU books a month, and I’ve found so many favorite books and authors through it. All three books—The Bone Witch, The Blood Witch and The Bound Witch are out now. You can expect witches and other paranormals, humor and romance, and OMG twists that will leave you wanting to start the next book immediately. I'm a bit late to the 2nd challenge for #tcwitchyoctober22 about local witches abd folklore so... Back in 1632, the herbalist from Svetvinčent Mara Radolovich was accused by her fellow citizens of being a witch and of making a deal with the devil. Although she used to treat fellow citizens with her herbs until recently, she was condemned to burn at the stake in the courtyard of the Grimani-Morosini castle. Another version of the legend says that Mare was condemned because she was the secret lover of a rich nobleman. Their relationship was not supposed to be known, so the unfortunate Mare ended up at the stake. Any local witch folklore where you're from? #witch #locallegends #witchmara #svetvincenat #witchyreads #manga #flyingwitch #bookstagram #instabook #bookworm #readingaddict https://www.instagram.com/p/CkS3CHWLiTV/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

The Call of the Cards, Book 1 of The Divining Sisters Series is out now on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. So let’s meet the divining sisters! I've so enjoyed writing these characters and I'm excited to introduce you to them.
Alexandra Steele is a clinical psychologist who has a long line of mystic lives that she discovers early on in Book 1. Her journey to self-discovery, empowerment, and facing past life fears is the main theme that we follow throughout the series. Her struggles mirror the struggles that so many people face on healing journeys when they have to confront fears and shadow work before being able to move forward on their path.
Isobel Frey (Izzy) is a quirky, fun, spunky energy healer who drops nuggets of wisdom with each word she utters. There are so many wise lessons that we learn from her throughout the series. She is one of my favorite characters to write, and I know she will become a fast fan favorite for sure. The bond between Alex and Izzy warms my heart, and I hope readers fall in love with their sisterly connection as well. The person in my life who is the real-life Izzy is every bit of magic too. She's my muse for this whole series. And she makes my life so fun and interesting! Never a dull moment with her.
Can't wait for you to meet these sisters and the other mystical characters in the series.
