Em quem posso confiar?

Uma palavra de esperança. Uma promessa.

“Você pode contar comigo!” “Sempre vou me lembrar de você!”

Já ouvimos essas frases de algum amigo ou outra pessoa próxima. Para alguns, essas promessas se firmaram, para outros não. Mas como é bom ter alguém em quem podemos confiar.

O que me levou a refletir isso neste fim do dia é o como temos a facilidade de confiar nas pessoas, porém não depositamos essa confiança no Criador de todas as coisas. Você pode sim ter amigos em quem confia muito. Acredite, eles existem! Mas apesar de existirem, eu e você somos falhos. Tem horas que não poderemos contar com o outro. Apesar disso, em Jesus, o bom amigo que não falha, teremos sempre o melhor e mais perfeito amigo.

Ele diz em sua palavra: “De maneira alguma te deixarei, nunca jamais te abandonarei”(Hebreus 13:5). E cremos nisso com base no fato de que “Deus não é homem para mentir” (Números 23:19).

A que conclusão chegaremos?

Ponha sua confiança em Deus e seus planos serão bem sucedidos. (Provérbios 16:3). Porque a palavra dos homens pode falhar, porém a Palavra de DEUS JAMAIS FALHARÁ.

“Bem-aventurado o homem que põe a sua confiança no Senhor, cuja esperança é o Senhor. Porque ele é como a árvore plantada junto às águas, que estende as suas raízes para o ribeiro e não receia quando vem o calor, mas a sua folha fica verde; e, no ano da sequidão, não se perturba, nem deixa de dar fruto.” (Jeremias 17:7-8)

MORNINGS AND COFFEE

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. —Psalm 5:3

They go together. I can't seem to do mornings without my frothy latte. It's one of life's simple pleasures — an every day gift.

It is comfort. It is home.

And it perks me up and gets me ready for the day!

The mug I drink from is an integral part of my morning enjoyment. I pick the one that suits my mood.

I adore pretty mugs that inspire me with a special memory, quote or scripture. And so my cupboard is full of little morning treasures to my heart.

There is a Book filled with morning Treasures most important to starting the day.

My body may feel sluggish without a java kick start — but my spirit lags throughout the day when I neglect “filling up" on the Word of God.

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105 PRAYER:

O LORD - Hear my prayer and light my path in the way You would have me go this day. In Jesus Name, Amen
