KRIPKE: I’ll give a perfect example. The residuals I get are from its airing on TNT, which you know, it gets a couple hundred thousand views. The Netflix streaming of Supernatural is consistently in the Top 10 for billions of minutes streamed. Part of that is because there’s so many episodes, but still, if you just go by how many people are spending minutes watching that show, it blows away Squid Game and blows away things that are massive hits, and I’ve gotten a total of zero residuals for that. No one should cry for me. I’m doing great. I’m not asking for any sympathy for that. I’m just pointing out the inequity. Then when you think of all the writers on my staff, who really could use that money, are in between jobs or something, that’s significant. The fact that [streamers] can just live in this sort of new media disruptor black box and not pay what other networks are paying doesn’t seem fair

'The Boys' - an American superheroes series developed by Eric Kripke for Amazon Prime - has already finished filming. Due to the writer strike the pending post production cannot be finished. Therefor the start of the season has been delayed indefinitely until the writer strike ends. This situation is similar to another series by Eric Kripke called Supernatural being affected by a writer strike (11/05/2007 - 02/12/2008). It led to the appearance of imfamous gay angel Castiel (who would confess his love to Dean exactly 13 years after the writer strike's start).

This first season is so well written- not too horror-y, plenty of twists

This guy is totally draining the life of the kids.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, the dynamic of their characters shifts throughout the seasons: Sam’s absolute refusal to put any kids or people in danger shifts onto Dean after hell and Ben, and so does his reluctance to hunt and such. Dean’s guilt NEVER goes away though.

it's kinda funny how it took me a rewatch to get really warmed up to the idea of frenchie x kimiko as a ship and then i watched the episode with the kiss and liked it, just to find out that the writers wrote in that 'to state it was weird for the audience because it's weird for them' or something???

also canon family(?) zoning aside why the fuck would you refer to them as siblings like holy shit there are other platonic relationships that aren't blood bound i just found that part really stupid and very funny because the way they state the relationship and the way it comes off onscreen is very different imo
