I can't believe I'm just now getting to this- Sorry, anon, I know you sent this is like over a year ago-

You were childhood friends, so great for you- You have a trauma bond with him and Connie

He tells you stuff he would never tell Connie, because he doesn't think Connie would understand

He feels like he can talk to you without judgement

When he develops romantic feelings, he doesn't think they're different than his friendship feeling

But god, he loves when you smile and laugh

It warms something so sweet in him

When he does realize he likes you more than a friend and accepts the feelings, he's to scared to tell you

His fear of rejection overcomes his love for you

When his trauma really starts to get to him, he finds it hard to be around you

He shuts you out, because he doesn't want you to see him like that

"I feel like you're shutting me out," You exaggerate your hands, before point at him and then yourself, "And I don't even know why"

"It's nothing personal, Y/n"

It breaks your heart and you don't know how to get through to him

You'll try and talk to Connie [Bad idea] and she tells you you just need to give him time. [Yeah, you didn't want to do that, so you ignored her advice, even though technically that would have been the best thing to do]

You think about going to Pearl, but you know she'll probably say the same thing as Connie- So, you go to Garnet, because she can see the future

Expect, Garnet tells you that the best thing to do is let him come to you and you groan, which causes Garnet to laugh

"Not the answer you wanted?"

"Of course not. Thank you though, Garnet."

Garnet knows you're not going to take her advice, but maybe Steven needs someone to care enough about him to pull him back into reality

You try talking to Steven's dad, but that doesn't go well either. Steven's father is so out of touch with his son. You should of known better- Even though Mr. Universe is a good dad in his love, he's never there. You supposed it was complicated.

So, you go to the last choice- The one you were trying to avoid

Amythest

She's more than happy to help you. She doesn't give you words of comfort or anything, she's all about movement and action

You start to think you should of gone to her first, but this was a bad idea

You end up making Steven so angry, he yells at you

You're a little taken a back, but you finally back off

You give it a few days and he comes to you to apologize

"I'm sorry, Y/n. I shouldn't have yelled at you," He runs his hand through his hair, "It's just... Ugh, I don't know..." He looks over at you, a frown overtaking his face, "Difficult. I didn't mean it"

"I know. I shouldn't have tried to push you. I should have known better."

Thankfully you make up, but he still doesn't let you into what's going on

"You know, Steven, you can tell me anything"

"I know"

~If anything, you'll have to come to him first because he's ashamed and embarrassed. He doesn't want to approach you.

~After feeling like he has to take care of everybody's problems, he doesn't know how to be the one to be taken care of.

~When you make the mistake of encouraging him into relaxing and letting others help, that's when he gets too clingy.

~Because now he know how truly sweet you are. He acted weird, you still came to check on him. He's trying to run around fixing problems, you're encouraging him to try to make time for himself instead of fixing everyone else's life.

~I highly doubt Steven would try kidnapping you or anything like that, but he would definitely think about it during one of his glowing pink breakdowns, and he might find you while he's in the middle of being buff and pink just to be near you.

~If you freak out, he'll try to calm you down.

~Which only makes it worse.

~He might end up trying to force you to see that he's okay.

~After THAT, he again goes back to trying to stay away from you.

~You're the person he wants to run to and collapse at your doorstep, but he doesn't want to put that on you, so he bottles it all up, only to release it later and somehow snap at you.

~He's at war with himself. He wants you, but he shouldn't have you, or take you, or beg you.

~He feels torn apart inside over it.

if you went against their ideology, they’ll(Steven) throw a tantrum and cry there so that you’ll feel bad and eventually caves in.

overall, very toxic but not really violent unless anyone cross the lines that Steven and Steve has set.

Steven Universe Future! || NO SMUT U FLITHY ANIMALS.

A/N ; bro no one is writing for steven universe and i badly need smth😭

Steven was talking to garnet, on the couch while garnet was petting cat steven. It was 2AM, both of them were waiting for you, Steven sighed as he heard the door opening. Garnet was looking at you already, Steven turned around as he saw you… he looked shocked, You were in baggy jeans, a long sleeves and crop-top but you stole his jacket before you went out, which both of them were sleeping or gone.. You were slowly taking off your sneakers, getting the silent house uncomfortable really so you tried to distract yourself and kept into your head really until Steven spoke up.

“Soo.. Where were you?”

You looked at Steven confused before smiling.

“You know how sadie is Back into town for her tour with the sadie spects? They asked me to go shopping with them and of course i said yes!”

Garnet looked away from steven to look at you, smiling as she already knew that. She just wanted to make sure you were alright, Cat Steven jumped down from Garnet’s lap and ran to you. Quickly starting to purr and rub against your leg, you bent down and pet her gently as to pick her up as well.. Steven was still looking at you, slightly jealous that you spent all your night talking to them instead of him. Why didn’t they invite him though? That’s- weird, he was the one who introduced everyone to you when you first moved in which was probably when.. he still didn’t know his own powers, those times made him shiver sometimes.

“Were you safe?”

“Why wouldn’t I? We have nothing to fear anymore so I just have been relaxing. Why aren’t you in bed Steven? You planned to propose to connie to tomorrow or is it today since… it’s 2AM??”

“Well, i wanted to wait for-.. my best.. friend.”

“As you are already here (N/N) {Nickname}, I should get going as I have some stuff to do.”

You smiled and waved bye to garnet as you saw her disappear into her room. You turned to steven and walked over to him, gently putting cat Steven in his lap and watched cat steven purr softly and get comfortable on steven’s lap. You giggled as the thought of cat steven and human steven being alike, you walked back and walked to the hallway of the bathroom saying..

“Alright! You should prepare for bed Steven! Ima take a shower!”

Well sorta yelled that out, Steven watched you leave him with this cat steven… He sighed softly, fully forgetting that he told the gems and you that he liked connie, when he was mildly obsessed with you… well he wasn’t always, half way through his past he got obsessed. Can you guess how? Well, really. he got obsessed with you because you almost died by the hands of the diamonds. You're human.. not like him, not like the gems where you can poof but come back better and new, not like him where he can magically heal himself if he got hurt. but at that point, he didn't even realize it was obsessive, he just thought it was friendly love untillll….

He got rejected by Connie which was a few weeks ago, It was bad enough he had to deal with humiliation but she literally pointed out that she thought he liked you. That made him shocked, as you and him well before had nothing in common, he and you only saw each other as friends until Connie pointed out how he looked at you after everything with the diamonds, she pointed out how he looked at you with so much admiration, so much love in his eyes. Connie found it adoring, cute, sweet. She wasn’t even mad.. Which got Steven absolutely confused. If He saw connie being like- oh. He slowly started to realize that he does and did do that.. how dumb is he that he didn’t notice himself? It got awkward quick..

It was already morning as he got the sleep he needed and so did you. Steven was happily okay with you sleeping on the bed as you two got older, he didn’t find it weird that you guys had to share a bed when you two grew up, which until you told him if it was okay if you slept on the couch and not with him and not near him? That absolutely made him feel like shit, he didn’t know that at time either really. You slowly got up and looked at Steven, confused.

“Steven.. why do you have brea—”

Before you could finish your sentence the gems were already coming up, you sighed softly as you ate the breakfast sandwich Steven made as he talked with the gems. You were too tired to say anything so when you got up, you realized they were already downstairs. You softly shook your head as you started to get dress already, you went down to see them talking.. it was nice seeing it. You liked seeing them all talk, happily.. it felt refreshing, You walked to the bathroom and opened the door to start your routine. You walked out to see Steven get piled in snow, you giggled as you started to get something to drink.

“You know what we haven’t played in awhile..?”

Amethyst said as she looked at steven, before slowly getting up and then. Turning into young steven, which made you look shock as you started to laugh, hard.

“STEVEN TAG!”

Steven looked tired before looking at you, his eyes looked a bit shocked before they softened of all of his tiredness, suddenly gone just by hearing your pretty laugh. Before he knew it, he kept dodging Amethyst from tagging him. He kept complaining until he ran into the bathroom, quickly rolling a towel up and putting it in the gap of the door, he sat on it until he heard your far away laughter fading away and amethyst footsteps walking away. He slowly started to put the towel back and open the door, he walked out as garnet was looking around.

“Steven.”

“Yea Garnet?”

“Have you seen Cat Steven, I have been looking all over for her. Can you look for her in the cabinets?”

Steven nodded as he walked to the cabinets, about to ask this one before he dodged amethyst’s trying to tag him. He gasped a bit as he dodged it, looking at her going into garnet and tagging garnet instead but also making you fall down since garnet almost knocked you down. You laughed it off as it didnt even hurt, being trained witn Connie and pearl, you could deal with a lot of things whicn always made steven admire you from afar. Speaking of Steven, he looked shocked before running to you.

“Are you okay?!”

He said as he kneel down and checked you. You chuckled softly as your laughter died down, you nodded before steven dodged both of them and ran to the warpad. Running into pearl..

EEK!! Finished it myself, 6 more drafts to complete. Im dying slowly omg- i should write each other that im planning until Christmas broskis😊 TOMORROW IS TWO STORIES OKAY?? DW DW I’LL DO TWO BECAUSE I HAVE TOO SO IT’LL WORK. I promise it’ll work😭😭 anyways!! I dont know who should envy who. The "smallest" ones who reach her legs or the tallest one who can reach her chest and up.

TBH I was only being generous when it comes to Sea Serpent! Reader’s human height, I was gonna make her much more taller then Black Maria cuz I just LOVVVEEE TALL LADIES especially when it’s the main character that I’m doing, (sorry short readers, but y’all have so many fanfics)

AISHAUA Katakuri is literally at Sea Serpent! Readers chest height, so that whenever she hugs Katakuri, he was grateful for the scarf that he has to hide the blushing mess he is, the same thing goes to his sister Smoothie :3

Cracker would make a suit of armor just to be at the same height as hers, but oh how the cracker armour cracked when you picked him up from his suit and peppered his face with kisses.

WHILE DOFFY (i don’t like him.) is literally just looking at Sea Serpent! Reader’s bottom 😭

From my other post of diamond!Reader i was actually thinking if i should make a pearl! Reader as well now im flooded with ideas and i have school later at 6am and im still not asleep because of these thoughts not letting me sleep

You guys can decide whatever color the reader is-

Here are some of what i thought of:

Diamond!Reader who has a gem on their right hand, unlike the other diamonds she doesn't pick a planet to rule, instead she makes her own world using her powers, which is creation she can make anything she wishes but it has a limit the more she uses this power the more that she grows weak, she rules no planets and only helps the other diamonds rule their planets or find a unclaimed planet and tells it to the others, she is also considered the right hand person of white diamons

Diamond!Reader is close to pink diamond every time pink diamond is locked up on the tower she always visits her and a company her, the two were close Diamond!Reader sees pink as family and they barely talk to the other diamonds they're a quiet person around the others but she talks a lot around pink

Diamond!Reader who found the land of Khaenri'ah in which had no gods ruling over it they wanted and only humans at first they wanted to tell the others about this unclaimed land but the mortals in it peeked their interest as they witnessed them create and build these machines it amazes them that a mere mortal can make such a wonderful creations just by the things around them

Diamond!Reader decided to visit the nation to see in their own eyes the creation of these mortals, as they spends more and more time on the nation they felt an attachment to the people in it, and they had been hanging out with dain lately they felt like they were home and informed pink about this discovery and they're relationship with the mortals making pink shares about the new planet that was finally given to her to rule, earth

Diamond!Reader was well known in Khaenri'ah as they helped with some machines and inventions, some of it they created themself with help, making them quite popular as they help and participate in some inventions known to the nation, the people had viewed them as a very important person as without their help some of their inventions/creations weren't made thus they have build statues of them and they were well known by everyone

Diamond!Reader was also viewed as inspiring and admirable that some writers had decided to make a book about them, they're contribution to their country and to the way they help all of them to raise even more

Diamond!Reader who starts to neglect their job as a diamond and was in the mortals world to see and learn about the mortals, they have also met a blonde traveler from afar in which they have been trying to get to know as their friendship grow, so did their relationship with the diamonds fell as they haven't been going to their meetings nor helping the other diamond

Diamond!Reader was scolded by white diamond seeing her smile makes them shiver as she had no choice but to stop visiting Khaenri'ah, once they were informed about the rebel of one of pinks people and the troublesome things that it resulted they had gotten ready for the war, not before pink has told them about it, that rose and her is the same and she was only doing this so that she can live peacefully in earth, they agreed to keep this a secret

Diamond!Reader became busy with their responsibility as a diamond that she had forgotten about Khaenri'ah, and only remembered it when they were staring at the stars pondering thinking that it had been a long time since they last visited it they revisited the nation only to find it in a mess there were no more people and the joyous laughter of kids was no longer there and the warm smiles of the people and the welcoming aura is long gone

Diamond!Reader stared at the now fallen country and saw a familiar blonde haired traveler running to them as they asked what happened and claimed that the seven gods had destroyed it because it had no ruler, making them taken back from this information

Diamond!Reader felt heart broken as the joy and warm smiles of the people in Khaenri'ah have now turned to ashes, at least that what they thought as they decided to leave Khaenri'ah their heart yo heavy from the guilt that they couldn't protect Khaenri'ah and its people, they left Khaenri'ah and decided to leave to see more of teyvat

Okay so-, i have no idea what i just wrote, yes teyvat wasn't invented by diamond reader because i think i remembered that the diamonds would take a planet take every living land from it i think?- and mold the existing planet to whatever they please, diamond reader won't be doing that and instead only be views as a good because of the books and inventions they helped made, I'm sorry if some of it don't make sense, this is my first time writing so please forgive me if i made any mistakes or confusing things-

Its 1am rn, and i started writing this at 12am- so I'll prob head to sleep even though im supposed to wake up at 3am but whatever- I'll try to improve and try my best yo remember genshin and steven Universe lore because it has been a long time since the last time i have read them and i recently deleted genshin but i do remember the lore, so stay tuned! I'll try my best, slow updates too, it is a self aware, just wait for updates and I'll def explain it more for now ik brain dead and in need of sleep, see y'all!

Rejection doesn't just sting, it burns. He can be prone to reacting before he can stop himself, sometimes putting up walls so you can't back away, sometimes even going so far as to forcibly fuse with you so you can't escape him.

As he gets older and his human half grows, his Diamond half grows with it, wanting him to be as big as his mother once was. You had found yourself in the middle of an unfamiliar place, the darkness of the night making it difficult to orient yourself. The air was cold and still, and your heart was racing as you tried to figure out where you were. You looked around, but all you could make out were shadowy outlines of boxes. You felt a chill run down your spine as you realized that you had no idea how you had ended up here.

You felt a gentle hand on your shoulder, and you slowly opened your eyes to see a pink-glowing figure standing before you. As your vision adjusted, you recognized the figure as Steven Universe. His expression was one of relief and joy, and his usual happy and love-filled eyes were now aglow with pink light. You had seen that lovesick look on his face many times before, and you could spot him from a mile away. “My love!” he said with such conviction that you couldn't help but squint at the brightish of the glow that seemed to be radiating from him. unsure of why you were here. “What do you want universe.. Why am I here huh?!” His face started to frown as he spoke, and you felt a lump forming in your throat. “I thought… I thought you wanted to be here.” You glared up at him, your face twisted in rage. You had never wanted to be here, in this place. You had repeatedly told him that, yet here you were, again. You shouted out, your voice filled with anger, "You know I never wanted to be here, Steven! I hate it when you bring me here!" You attempted to move your hands, but they were bound in place. You stared in disbelief, were you tied up? You looked around, trying to look for a way to get your wrist undone. You sighed softly, feeling your heart sink as you looked up at the tall, bright man. You knew something was off, you could feel it in your gut. You had been running away from him for so long, trying to escape the endless cycle of him chasing after you, finding you, and then starting the cycle all over again. It was like a never-ending game of hide and seek, and you were getting tired from it.“This time I won't let you go back to that dump you call a house .” he looked down at you .” You'll be with me forever now!”

Steven couldn’t help himself, first it was Connie who starts to drift away from him, then the gems, and now you? he can’t deny he would be crazy if you too start to drift away from him.

you’re his EVERYTHING. His world, his love, his absolute every feelings of him. He can’t lose you aswell, just the thought of somebody having you made him awake everynight.

he couldn’t get any proper sleep at the thought of you leaving him. So he thought, what if he just convince you to stay here with him? to grow together. That way you won’t leave him, he’ll tell you how much you mean to him, that he would die for you to stay.

you’re hanging out with Steven, you could saw Garnet looking very uncomfortable when she saw you and him. You felt a little weirded out and decided to ask her what was wrong. “hey, Steven? i have to talk to Garnet for awhi-“ Steven’s voice interrupted yours before you could even finished the sentence. “NO!” his whole body starts to turn pink again and you were shocked. “NO.. way! what i mean is, you cAN talk to Garnet..!”

Steven smiled it off and put a thumb up while he starts to calm down. You were very worried about him, but just once you turn around—you couldn’t find Garnet. “huh, thats weird..”

at the end of the day, you went home. But something felt off, you feel like a pair of eyes were watching you from behind the shadows. You couldn’t exactly pinpoint where but it felt like everywhere.

you grew nervous at the feeling and starts to sped up towards your house, that is until you saw a.. gem? they look weird.. they had these weird marks on it. You don’t know anything until it starts to attack you.

you couldn’t even scream and closed your eyes shut while your arms covering your face. You didn’t feel any impact, slowly opening up your eyes you didn’t see the gem.. only shards of a.. SHARDS OF THE GEM.

you panicked, they got shattered but by who? trying to contain your cry, you brought back the shards back to the temple. You ran as fast as you could only to find Steven running towards the temple and still have the door half open.

“S-Steven!! you.. what were you doing..” starting to realize what was happening, you put the pieces together. A pair of eyes watching you, Garnet’s weird behavior towards him, and how easily shattered the gem could get. Only him that could shatter a gem that easy.

you start to take a step back, Steven only froze there and starts to leap up and landed on his knees infront of you. You didn’t know how to react, you dropped down the shards and put your hands to your mouth while tears flowing from your eyes.

“__… please, don’t ever leave me… i- im sorry.” he practically begged you, you stood still and he was still clinging onto your legs. Not giving you a chance to get away from his grasp.

“i could make this work! i can- i can save that gem.. i can save you, i can save us! just please, ‘it’ attacked you, i HAVE to protect you.” it is the first time you’ve seen this side of him.

so.. cracked, so vulnerable. He used to looked so strong, so happy, so perfect. But now, he’s broken. He want you, he NEEDS you. And you certainly need him, you couldn’t live without him.

you thought for a moment before kneeling down and hugged him, he was happy. He smiled and look at you, you could only smile tiredly before questioning yourself on this decision.

he just shattered someone, he just broke the swear he would never break. He swore that he would never shatter anyone, under any circumstances. But the gem attacked you, if they didn’t get shattered immediately you would get killed. But.. that doesn’t matter would it? the past is already the past he told you.

so you just let it go, you broke the hug and looked at the shards. Steven looks at it with an emotionless face and put it inside a bubble before sending it to his.. secret base.

he turned around at you with a frown on his face before holding your hands. “hey.. its going to be okay. Just promise me, to NEVER leave me.. you NEED me ___… i am your knight, you don’t need anyone you only need me. I have everything you could ever asked for. I will stay with you until your dying breath, i can protect you. So please, don’t ever leave me, okay?” you convinced yourself even more that you’re only a mere human, and he is a half gem.

he is strong, he is everything you could ever asked for. He is perfect, and he is yours. You couldn’t pass on that opportunity so you pledged yourself to never leave his side, and that he is your everything.

it was working he thought, just a little convincing got you wrapped around his finger. Now he just need to protect you, you will be the damsel in distress and he will be the knight who’ll always save you. And even if Garnet or any other gems tried to get in the way of the two of you, he could just put them in a bubble— or worse, shatter them.

he has the power of a diamond after all, that means he is much stronger than any of the gems.
