I honestly prefer Hynden Walch’s “Mad Mod World” song over Puffy AmiYumi’s “K2G” for Mad Mod’s theme. I wish it wasn’t cut out of the final version, because the lyrics and overall tone of the song fit him much better!

As much as I would have adored a Titans East spinoff, I also understand the writers’ and producers’ unwillingness to create such a series away from the central five. I feel that Titans East fanfiction is good enough to be the equivalent of a spinoff.

It would’ve been cool to see Mad Mod and Mumbo have a villain team-up episode. Both characters have a neat way of warping reality, messing with the titans’ heads, and the overall visual aspect of the their schemes would’ve made for a fun ride along the way!

Thunder and Lightning had a nice brotherly dynamic; I wish we got to see more of that, especially considering where they left off with the titans at the end of “Forces of Nature” felt a little dry. I’m a big sucker for the minor characters.

Robin has always been my fav, and I used to sum it up to me finding him cool, but I’ve been doing some soul searching and realized that it’s probably because I, like him, feel a weird need to do everything alone or else it’ll be horrible. I hope someday I find my own Titans, but honestly I’m scared I never will.

I recently learned that there was going to be a scene in Betrothed that got cut where a couple of Tamaranian girls kiss Beast Boy and Cyborg to learn English, and am kinda bitter about it. Not only would it have helped explain everyone randomly knowing English, but it just would have been hilarious.

I hate how some people will try to devalue the Robrae moments in Season 4 by saying that they came out of nowhere or that it could’ve been anyone.

Guess he wasn’t the one who knew her well enough to figure out what was going on in Fear Itself, those small moments in ‘Terra’ and ‘Titan Rising’ where they talked privately never happened, he wasn’t desperately searching for her in ‘Beast Within’ nor the first person to defend Raven in ‘Nevermore’, and definitely wasn’t revealed to have been the first person to accept Raven despite her more scary side in ‘Go!’

I could go on, but the point is the creators chose him to be the one to help her in Season 4 because he fit best. Yes, to some extent it could have been anyone, but to the same amount as to how it could’ve been anyone who played Beast Boy in Spellbound or Starfire in Deception. Can you really imagine them with, say,  Robin instead?

I’m not asking you to drop everything and ship it, just stop trying to discredit their friendship for god’s sake!

Go! is such an underrated episode. It shows the beginning to each Titan’s arc (Robin through having him learn to work with a team in general, Cyborg with having him get the courage to start hanging out with the Titan’s despite his robotic parts and stop hiding them too, and Raven through letting her start to let herself be a member,) shed more light on Beast boy’s insecurities than most of Season 5 did, and gave Starfire more development than the rest of the show cared to.

Yet despite this, it is mostly remembered for the Robstar moments.

I cringe so hard when people say that if Season 6 had happened Beast boy and Raven would have gotten together. The creators of the show -namely David Slack, the man most people will point to as proof that there was romantic undertones- stated that it was just meant to be platonic multiple times over. It’s just so delusional and pretty pathetic to be honest when the Robrae, BBStar, Cyrae, etc. shippers can accept their ship status as non-canon, why can’t the BBRae shippers?

I don’t understand why some people act like Raven would be super angry at Robin after Beast Within. I mean while he was no saint in that episode, attack BB even when Cyborg had things undercontrol to do it peacefully, his initial assumption was completely reasonable. Beast Boy had threatened Raven, then she’d scream and suddenly both were missing, and when you find them again she’s in his teeth. What are you going to guess happened? And Raven, while being grateful to BB for saving her, is closer to Robin in general and we see not too long later in the series that she feels he understands her best in Birthmark. She probably just didn’t take a side. IDK It’s just so weird that so many people headcanon that.

I hate it when people act like Robin distrusted Terra like Raven did. Sure, he was a little suspicious about how much control over her powers she had, but he was also planning to help her the minute he made sure. That’s way different than him suspecting that she was secretly working with Slade or anything like that as fandom may make you believe.
